If you're looking to perform a factory reset on your Honda Civic's ECU, you're in the right spot. To do this, start by taking out the ECU fuse from the fuse box under the hood. Ensure your Civic is in Park for safety, then turn the ignition to ON without starting the vehicle and wait for around 15 minutes. After the 15 minutes are up, you can turn off the ignition. Once this process is done, you're good to go and drive your vehicle.
To quickly reset the infotainment system, press and hold the dimmer switch, along with the audio off and menu buttons at the same time. Keep them pressed for a while before initiating the computer reboot. You may need to release and press them down a few times.
