A couple years ago I donated a car to Auto Tech after hearing about the program and how the cars are thoroughly inspected with necessary repairs done assuring those that qualify receive a solid and safe working vehicle they can trust. I later went back to the shop out of curiosity, and was told exactly what maintenance and repairs had been done before releasing my vehicle to a woman who had just relocated from somewhere in the southern states, where she’d been in a battered women’s shelter, but now getting her life back in order in the Twin Cities. I felt great that she was able to get my car, and especially since I knew how well the mechanics had prepared it! Fast forward a couple years, I found myself in search for a good used car which I knew Auto Tech also sold to the general public and had a great reputation. My wife especially wanted a compact car since that’s what she was most comfortable driving. Well, parked right out front of the office was a 2012 Chevy Sonic. That led to a conversation with Prince Singh in the office and before I knew it I took it for a ride. It ran really well! Prince explained what the mechanics had done to get it in shape to be put up for sale since it did have 113,000 miles on it. Anyway, it felt like a new car to me! Pretty much bought it site on scene. Prince did all the paperwork with me in a flash but said the mechanics should take one final look at it. They did, and found one additional minor problem needing attention which they promptly corrected, and then gave it a final road test before handing the keys over to me. I really appreciated their thoroughness and getting to talk to the mechanic after the road test. Prince, who was great through the whole process, called me about 3 days later to say my Tabs were in and I could drop by to pick them up! I’d highly recommend Auto Tech to anyone in need of a quality used car at a reasonable price!

I really really wanted to be able to rate this as great cuz buying it went super easy and quickly but... Let's see, the day I picked it up I realized that the driver door wouldn't lock, and that the tire pressure sensor was on (originally was told that the tires just needed to be filled, then after purchasing was told the sensor was dead and needed to be replaced) and that it still wasn't cleaned well, I even asked a second time before picking it up because there was a used mask in the back seat. I was a bit irritated with all that but could have just rolled with it, was a used car and it's a small used car lot. But after that, I take it to a dealer to get serviced and they come back with around 4000/5000 for what it all needs between basic service and parts that are about to go out/already out. I'm sorry, a free oil change is not worth giving this place a great review. I love the car and the sales woman was very nice but I wouldn't have agreed to the price if I knew about all of the issues.

Very great service, the guys were very professional and helpful. They have a lot of nice cars for cheap. All the cars have been looked at and repaired. I will be buying my first car there for sure.

Beca recently helped us get my mom into a vehicle! She made everything so easy, was easy to talk to. She was honest, very straightforward and made our buying experience so much easier and better than past experiences! Once it’s time for us to upgrade we will definitely be back!
