Lindsey and the technician who worked on my car were extremely helpful. I had a slow leak and needed the tire repaired or replaced promptly. Lindsey made sure I got onto the schedule quickly and the technician was able to repair my tire without delay. Always very pleased with the service I receive at Shearer Audi.

Oil change and inspection. Priced right. Inspection a bit frustrating due to tire pressure issue. We agreed to disagree about what was required vs recommended. Would be five stars if not for that and...suggest a feedback mechanism that’s not public so you can get the best info about areas that might benefit from improvement.

I arrived for my appointment to discover I had given the wrong date to the scheduler and they were expecting me the next week! No problem. Jessica (the scheduler) rearranged things and Brett (the service rep) rearranged this and that and, presto, I was on the schedule for that day! Not only was my car fixed on time, but the service tech heard something that didn't sound quite right and fixed that too -- under warranty. I couldn't be more pleased with their service.

My wife tried to use their really "cool" online system to schede service, except it does not work. She then called in to schedule a service department which they would not make without the car VI N number. She will now be trying for a third time to make an appointment which should have taken two minutes has taketwenty

Purchased a certified preowned 2013 Audi A4 in May 2014. We were excited as this was our first purchase of an Audi. However, that excited feeling went downhill about a year later when we started having "brake issues". The back brake was squealing so bad when we braked that my husband had to change this as we live in NY and he didn't trust it to be driven to VT. About 2 weeks after this was changed 2 lights lit up on the dash stating"brake pads". When I called the dealership and explained the situation, I was told to bring it in and they would check it. After the mechanics checked it, I was told I need new brakes and rotors all the way around for a cost of over $1000 as this is not covered under the warranty. This is considered"wear and tear." Really....and mind you I have only put 8,000 miles on it and they were 8,000 already on it when we bought it for a total of 16,000 miles! Needless to say we will NEVER own another Audi or ANY certified preowned car. The dealership did offer a possible 15% discount; however, that's not the point. The point is that when you you buy a certified preowned, you expect it to be "like buying new." Instead we now feel like we got someone else's problems. Even though Audi states they do a 300+ point check before the car becomes certified, maybe a little more can be done so things like this don't happen. Thankfully my husband is a mechanic and will take care of this issue and any future issues that arise as I no longer wish to patronize this business. Again all I can say is BUYER BEWARE!!!!

I just recently completed the acquisition of my 4th consecutive car Audi South Burlington. As an individual consumer, Ive bought and sold a dozen cars over the past 30 years and have typically driven away from the dealership with the feeling Id been had.. This has never once been the case with Audi South Burlington. In fact, I have such trust in Mike Hughes and the team at Audi South Burlington, that we transacted the last two vehicles entirely over the phone or via email. Both of these deals were relatively complicated, in that they involved trades, leases, Audi pre-certification for used vehicles and out of State delivery. Suffice it to say, I never would have gone back to Audi South Burlington four times or purchased cars from them over the phone unless I had complete trust and confidence in the dealership. With Sheaer Automotive Group and Audi South Burlington its always been about the long term relationship, not just a deal. If youre in the market for an Audi, I would highly recommend Audi South Burlington regardless of where you are located.

Had my 2015 Q7 towed in with a major malfunction on a Tuesday. Major electronic issue. First off person at service counter wasn't very concerned, almost seemed annoyed, with me showing up with my car on a rollback. I had called over 2 hours in advance, leaving a message, saying I was being towed in and Audi NA had arranged for my car to go there. Nobody called me back. They looked at car and told me they had to keep it as it got wet inside and they were not sure how and had to find out why, OK. Then told me they had no loaner vehicle and they could get me a rental. OK. Then when they were calling rental company I overhear them saying the customer will be paying for it, let's just say I didn't get a rental and called Audi straight away. Wednesday comes and they say they fixed car but couldn't figure out wetness, OK. No info Thursday. Finally got a loaner on Fri. Finally got my car back Tuesday, 1 week later, and they still don't know how it got wet. I can understand it's a tough find. They said it was all dry and good to go. Got out to car, they forgot to reinstall a piece in the cabin, put my wipers back on car wrong and my floor is partially damp. They said it from washing my mats(full rubber winter style) and not drying the back of them and putting them back in. 1 if it is, that's just bad work yet again, 2 wouldn't you be more careful with a guy who just had a wet car? So, called Audi NA as they have been amazing the whole time. Car is going to a different dealer to FIX what they didn't. Would never take a car there!!! Oh, and I was picking up, guy next to me was totally unhappy trying to get his car back as well. Jessica did try to step up as they figured how annoyed I was, and I guess Audi NA called a few times. Feel sorry for their service manager(Antony) as he has a lot of apologizing to do.

They always go out of their way to make every experience extraordinary. I had a tire swap that was going to to be quick, but my tires needed to be replaced as they would not pass inspection. A loaner was immediately available and I was on my way. Nothing is a problem

Jeff Goss was an absolute pleasure to deal with. I searched all over the northeast for the perfect S4 and found one at South Burlington. I sent an online inquiry and was contacted the next morning by Jeff. We worked out the deal, including trade in, all via email. There was no pressure, or shady sales tactics. I drove 4.5 hours one way, and upon arrival everything was ready to go. The staff was very friendly and attentive and made me feel very comfortable. I only wish this dealership was closer to home as they'd be my go to for service, sales, and parts. I will gladly make the drive again for my next vehicle purchase.

Buyer beware! This is the worst dealership and service department in I've ever encountered. We have two Audi's in the family both purchased at Audi So. Burlington. We've had nothing but problems and poor customer service both on the sales and service side. The service department never answers the phone and each time we bring our Q5 in for maintenance it comes out with other problems....which is never under the overpriced extended warranty. We've gotten to the point where we book two appointments back-to-back because they NEVER fix the original problem and you always have to bring it back. We really enjoy driving Audi's but will start driving to Rutland to purchase and for service since these clowns can't get it together. Example, purchased a Q5 and within 5 months tires started leaking air...brought in and they told me they could patch the tire....not under warranty mind you....well needless to say that didn't work. I specifically asked about the tires before I purchased the certified pre-owned vehicle and was told they were brand new...well now I learn they "really should be replaced" I haven't even put 15k miles on the vehicle. They deceive and lie just to get more money out of you.

ALL WE HEARD ABOUT FROM HIM, MIKE THE SALES MANAGER AND EVEN THE LADY WE SIGNED THE PAPERWOK WITH WAS HOW MUCH OF A LOSS THEY WERE TAKING ON THE VEHICLE! REALLY??? I have an S4 and a 2005.5 A4 and I went for the same reason as the previous poster, check engine light and my code reader gave a fuel pressure issue. I have had the problem ongoing for a year and a half and Audi South Burlington changed everything not under warranty on my car having to do with fuel pressure and charged me a lot of money but the A4 still had the issue. I finally went to a great garage Nate's Automotive in Essex and I found out from them that the fuel pump was the issue and that it was under warranty until 120,000. So to the previous poster who wrote that they wanted to charge you $600.00 for fuel pump, if your car was under 120,000 miles that should have been covered under warranty. Their service manager Brett is rude and over charged me like the previous poster described. He also told me that he was doing me a courtesy when I towed my car there once I complained that they had not done anything after my car was just sitting there 5 days for a clutch issue and they told me it would take another week and they wanted to charge me over $3000 to change the clutch and some other things. I towed my car to a different garage and it was ready the next day with everything fixed, with great service and for much cheaper.Avoid this place like pest, that's what I do now.

Our 2005.5 audi had the 'check engine light' indicator on and my code reader identified the problem as 'low side fuel pressure error'. We took it in for this and for a 65,000 mile service. We made an appointment for 9:30 am which required an early morning, 1.5 hour drive to get it in on time. We let the service group know of the error code and left the dealership to walk around town. We expected a call to let us know that the car was ready and when we didn't hear by mid afternoon we called and, at 3pm, they had just begun! We came back to the dealership and waited. When we got the car back they had changed the oil and filter and run their code diagnostic on the car and concluded that it was...... a 'low side fuel pressure error' but they knew nothing more. The charge for this? $300! I spoke at length to the service manager asking for a reduction in the bill as the mechanics did nothing to the vehicle other than to inspect it, change the oil and filter and run the diagnostic to no avail. Worse, they didn't know what to do to fix the problem; they said that maybe changing out the fuel pump for $600 might work but.... it might not. Then they gave me a list of the things they had noted on the car that would need to be done someday to a tune of about $3000! This for a car that has been routinely serviced at Kinney motors in Rutland regularly. I won't be revisiting the South Burlington Audi dealership.

As far as quality of work and friendliness, I went with an OK because while Lincoln was very friendly and knowledgable. Mike was the exact opposite. He low balled my trade in and then didn't want me to leave when I got up from the desk. The following day I got an email informing me that they would give me my price on my trade in. I had told them that I would be researching cars in the area on the internet and wouldn't be surprised if a better deal could be struck elsewhere. Steve was engaging during the very brief conversation I had with him regarding my trade in. My issue was with the fact that I was treated as someone they were doing a favor for and not someone who's business they either needed or wanted. Once again, competitors in Pa., NY and NH were far more interested in doing business with me. I found 14 cars (same make and model) with lower miles and lower prices I ended up purchasing an Audi from Mohegan Lake Motors in NY. Their salesman (Howard Burman) knew the car inside and out, didn't need a manager to tell him their best price and they made sure they had a very competitive offer for my trade in. Once again the dealerships in Chittenden County are good for one thing, a test drive. Nothing more!

Salesman was indifferent and seemed annoyed at my lack of knowledge of Audi. Purchased my first Audi from this dealer. It was a used vehicle. Salesman made up things about car that he didn't know. Salesman follow-up call the next day was cut short because he had a more important call on the other line. Later, found out I needed a tool to unlock the wheels. Salesman said it was the key in the glove box on the day I purchased the car. NOT SO. They told me I had to purchase a tool kit for $150! I found out from tech that I really didn't have locked wheels. What? I'm a senior woman who feels like they don' really care about repeat business. They fixed a broken door after they had to order the part. Service never returned my call when I asked them for just one tool to get my wheel cap off. What does it cost them just to have the satisfied customer? The freebee car wash was so horrible I had to go to a paid car wash because I didn't have time for them to repeat the job. Heed the warning from me and others...Do NOT buy a car from this Shearer dealer!

So I get to be the only person writing a negative review. This is without a doubt the worst car dealership I have ever had dealings with. I purchased a certified pre-owned Audi. I had some problems with the car. This dealership kept my car for 4 weeks, as they performed engine work. After a $4,500 repair, they returned it to me. I was under the impression that now everything was fine. Shortly thereafter, the engine seized on my Audi. When I took the car back to the dealer, they denied any responsibility. They also informed me the repair would cost $10,000, or they could, in a best case scenerio, give me $6,000 for my car that had a KBB value of $24,000. I will never have any dealings with this dealership again. Nothing to be gained for me, hope you heed my warning.

Enjoyed the experience (believe it or not) of purchasing our new VW Jetta from Browne Mills at Audi So. Burl. We were just looking to see what the new model styles were, and ended up purchasing one very late in the day. Browne was extremely gracious about working late, as the dealership was just about to close for the weekend. When he (and we) realized we were serious buyers, he did everything he could to make us feel less guilty about keeping him past closing time. Trading in an Audi was a little hairy for us, because the trade-in value usually sinks the deal for my hubby and I. We could have done a little better elsewhere -or sold it on our own- but we were so pleased with the new Jetta we decided a small loss on the trade value would be alright. Still, since we really weren't planning on purchasing a car that day, we didn't have our checkbook, etc. As luck would have it, our credit scores are great and we were able to drive it home with no money down. Sweet! Saved us another trip back to Vermont, as we live across the lake in NY.Nice inventory, nice employees, nice dealership.

I was extremely pleased with my new 2011 A4 purchase experience. Duane Evans made a great impression on the phone when I called to make an appointment and didn't dissapoint in person. Both he and the Sales manager, Michael Hughes were very professional, knowledgeable and helpful. I had done my research by visiting other dealers and had read the 2011 annual issue of Consumer Reports, so felt that I had a good basis of comparison. I had heard from friends and seen on the web,some negative reviews about the previous owners so did some additional work talking to the service manager (Jason Blankenbiller) and trying to get read on the satisfaction of customers in the service waiting area. All good although the wait area could be expanded a bit. I found that there are many new people in the dealership and a high level of attention to customer service. They also had good product inventory which made model comparisons easy.

800 miles is a long way to travel for a car you haven't seen and i had to rely on Terry's description and assurances to decide that the car was right for me. Terry proved to be very accurate in his representations and he patiently answered my many questions regarding the vehicle displaying excellent product knowledge. On my arrival Terry was waiting to pick me up from the airport in the car which had been freshly cleaned and was if anything in better condition than he had described. He had printed out all of the service records and recall receipts and had them waiting for me on arrival at the dealership where he was very efficient in getting the necessary documentation completed and getting me back on the road in my new car with a minimum of fuss AND a full tank of gas! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Terry and Shearer Audi it was a pleasure doing business with them and well worth the long trip.! Thanks Terry, i love the car!!

This dealership is by far the worst Audi dealership in North America...If you want good service, a friendly atmosphere, and GOOD BUSINESS; make the drive to MA and visit Prime Audi Westwood. For service at Shearer/ Lewis: Make sure you ask for all the parts they replaced (they told me they were replacing 8 ignition coils, only replaced 3 and charged me for all of them- did I mention they were a recall item) For sales:I recently visited their dealership to look at an RS4, they clearly didnt think I had the ability to buy it, proceeding to tell me it wasnt on the lot. Sure enough, it was in the back of the lot under 3-4 inches of snow... All around bad business even with new ownership; dont be fooled by the Shearer name, they have the same poor attitude that has been attached to this dealership for years.

I was very impressed with Mike Hughes, the Sales Manager. I spent thirty minutes on the phone with him and bought my new Audi at the conclusion of the conversation. I received what I consider to be a fair price for my trade-in and a fair price for the new auto. Rick Hurlburt was extremely knowledgable and helpful when I picked the new Audi up a few days later. All in all buying the car was an easy experience handled in a most professional manner by Mike and Rick. I would buy another car from them in a minute and will recommend them and the dealership to my friends.
