In the now almost seven months since I purchased my 2010 Chevy Equinox I have had nothing but buyer's remorse in my dealings with this arguably deceitful dealership. Take a few minutes to read my multiple frustrations with this car and this dealership before deciding if this place is right for you.I purchased my vehicle with a $3300 Silver Mileage Vehicle Protection Plan in mid March. Four days later during a drive to Flagstaff my entire instrument panel went out on the freeway. My car was still driving but I had no speedometer, fuel gauge, stereo, or AC from Kingman to Flagstaff. It all turned back on after about 30 minutes of being off while we stopped for food. While everything turned out fine this was an inauspicious start in the first week.A month later my car started having great difficulty turning over the engine. It would take up to three minutes of attempts before it would finally start up, but when I took it in to be looked at I was told it would $152 for them just to look at it despite having spent $3300 on their Silver VPP. I took it to my mechanic (5 Star worthy Exclusive Automotive) who checked it for free while changing my oil, discovered it was dirty electrical connections, and cleaned it for free. Now that's service!Fast Forward two months later to the final straw incident. I'm running errands all afternoon and on my second to last stop i got in my car and, you guessed it, it wouldn't start. Nothing turned on. A gentleman was kind enough to jump me which turned on all my electronics, but my car would not turn over. No sound from the engine, no clicking, just silence every time I turned the key. I took it to my mechanic who after a complete diagnostic check (again, free) said it was a bad PCM (Powertrain Control Module) after three tests flagged it as the source of the problem. Now this is where I thought that $3300 VPP warranty would finally pay off as this type of issue is explicitly covered. But no, when I towed my car in they tell me the problem is the connectors on my battery were not tightened. So they tightened those two screws, tell me it isn't covered by the warranty because it was battery related, and charge me $152 for tightening two screws. My car had working lights, working stereo, working power locks, working power windows, working instrument panel, but no engine and they expect me to believe the problem was the battery connectors became lose and detached as my car sat idle in the parking lot(I should note both myself and my mechanic checked the battery and its connections)? I just got back from Exclusive Automotive and their computer testing showed all the PCM issues that were flagged before are now fixed even though the dealership apparently did absolutely nothing with the PCM. After reviewing all the evidence I am convinced that this dealership fixed the PCM issues and then proceeded to lie to me about what the problem actually was so my warranty wouldn't cover it.Buy a vehicle from these guys at your own risk and if you do don't get the VPP. They will do everything in their power to make sure you don't get coverage when you need it most.

GMC and Craig Dinkelman provided excellent service. Upon dropping my car off, I was offered a shuttle ride home, without asking, in lieu of waiting two hours for my husband. Craig was knowledgeable and helpful in determining my vehicle's issues. He did not encourage me to complete unnecessary repairs, and was adamant about determining the root of the problem. The only downside was that my car was not washed when I picked it up, but Craig apologized and offered to either wash it then or for me to bring it back for a wash at a more convenient time. I greatly appreciated the ease of my experience.

Most self-serving and/or incompetent service we have ever seen. 25 Sept 2014 bought tires, they performed their multipoint Vehicle inspection/income generation inspection Was told that breaks were nearing failure, needed to repair. Had breaks inspected by two other shops, have over 50% breaks left. Again on 25 Sept 2014 asked Autonation GMC to look at emergency break as it would not engage. From Autonation GMC and I quote Inspection found brake pedal broken and Autonation GMC said they could fix it for about $579.00. Did not let them fix the broken break. 2 Sept, 2015, asked Imperial Auto Center to look at emergency break. Installed a drop of lubricant on latch, works fine now. Installed after market tail lights on Yukon and could not get these lights to work. Took to Autonation GMC to find where I had error. Was told that the lights were defective and charged me $265.00. Their work did not settle with me so I inspected the system and found two fuses were blown out. Replaced fuses, tail lights work perfect. Autonation GMC refunded me my money. This dealership should not be allowed to even inspect a vehicle. They are there for one purpose, rip off the customer, no matter what, get their money by deceit and dishonesty. I have the Autonation GMC invoices to prove the above statements.

From the initial phone call to Robert Singleton to vehicle pick-up, I was treated with thorough communication, warmth and respect. This, indeed, was royal service, so friendly and certainly professionally dealt with regarding my car. Almost like overnight, my car developed a major hole in the tire, a broken seat support base for the front driver's seat and an obvious rumble sound/feeling under the front engine. Tire was replaced, seat support replaced and broken engine mount repaired within 24 hrs. How 'bout that? I love your service and would gladly purchase a new car if I could afford it. I'm a retired teacher on a fixed income so I'm limited. Regardless, I love my Enclave; feel so safe and guarded whenever I drive it. Great experience!!

I do not drive my new pickup very much, less than the miles required for a scheduled oil change. I was given by E mail a scheduled oil change, tire rotation, lub, etc. I was given a date and time. I took the truck in as scheduled and all was completed in a timely manner, plus they washed my truck for me as well.

We made an appointment through Steve to meet with Joe at 9 a.m. Everything went according to plan. We got information without pressure, and since we had done our homework, we were ready to purchase. The car we wanted (in the color we wanted) had to be transferred from another lot so we returned mid-afternoon. We met Steve, who was also very personable and helpful. What we hadn't anticipated, and should have, was having to make an immediate decision with Susie about the maintenance contract. That was a considerable amount of money, and we felt rushed into the decision. Upon reflection, we probably chose the right option for us, but upon leaving the dealership that day with our new car, we were not 100% certain. If the maintenance options had been discussed with us in the morning, we would have had some time to think about them more carefully.The bottom line is that we are happy with our purchase and have already told others about our experience at the dealership.

I had the best car buying experience ever. My salesman was very knowledgeable about all the features of the vehicle I picked out to test drive. After we decided to purchase the truck, Larry was very diligent in getting the truck cleaned and ready for pickup. When we came to pick it up, he noticed the truck wasn't as clean as it could've been, so he made a verbal appointment for me to bring it back, because it was late, and have it re cleaned. I had a great experience thanks to Robert in the service department. He greeted me as soon as I pulled in for service, and told me the approximate time it would take to put in my new radio. The CD player wasn't working, however, they fixed it very quickly. The waiting room was spotless with very comfortable chairs. As soon as they finished, Robert came and found me and the job was done! I was not happy with your service prior to my last service appointment. I was told about a service contract for oil changes and was never signed up for, in fact I was ignored about it. I bought this car and paid cash for it with no offer with any service contracts. The new service advisor that was assigned to me at this visit was more than helpful and I was treated with respect and I signed up for service contract for oil changes. If you had more service advisors like him, you would have better business. Due to the previous service I received from your other service advisors, I have been thinking of never buying another buick again due to the rudeness I received when I purchased my car which I paid cash for. Service shows a lot to your customers about integrity and how you care about the products you sell. PS: I purchased this car in another state. I applaud your new service advisor that helped me for my last service visit.

We bought our new Buick Encore 90% based on our salesman, Steve. We first worked with Steve over a year ago when we were interested in the Enclave. He showed as the vehicle, and was honest with us in suggesting it wasn't the best time for us to buy a new vehicle, even though it cost him a sale that day. We returned months later to look at the Encore with Steve. Again, He never tried to push a sale. Then, in what I've found to be a rarity amongst salesmen anymore, he personally followed up when he knew we were coming out of an existing lease and offered to show us pricing for the Encore. We love the vehicle and the deal was hard to pass up, but what sold us was the no pressures personal attention we received for over a year leading up to the final sale.

Wow talk about bad customer service ! I never ever write reviews but felt I had an obligation on this one. I took my 2015 Yukon xl. in for service because the engine light came on. They asked to keep the car over night even though it was a quick fix. I asked them to fix weather a weather stripping problem and wash it. No problem I was told. I called 3 times the next day starting at 1:00 to 4:00. I was told they wood call me back in an hour the first time. Finally after waiting they told me it would be ready after 5:00. I came in at 5:15. Waited and waited in a lobby that smelled like gasoline. I now have a headache. It was not ready. It didn't get washed as I didn't wish to wait for it. The weather stripping didn't get fixed and they asked me to come back on Wednesday. I won't be going back their ever. Had a much better experience last oil change at fairway gmc. To top it off. All they did was change a spark plug. And they put 21 miles on my car. Guess someone needed a free car for the weekend. Terrible dealership. Cannot be trusted in my opinion.

We were traveling from Colorado to Las Vegas on vacation to see our kids and grandkids when the engine light came on. The dealer in Flagstaff said it was a recall problem and he did not have the part so advised us it was ok to drive the vehicle and have it repaired in Vegas at the buick dealer. Made an appointment with your dealership for Monday morning and explained the situation to them, they got us a rental car so we could do the things planned since they would have the car most of the day. Robert Lyman is the only reason why I bought my car. He was extremely professional, very hardworking and one friendly guy. He welcomed me and my husband. I have previously purchased two cars before my 2015 Buick Encore, a 1990 Lexus 400 - sold and 180,000 miles when I purchased a 2002 BMW 530i - trade-in on the Encore. I was quite specific about what I was looking for in what will probably be my last car purchase. While there was one car on your lot which met most of my requirements, it was not an AWD, which was a must. Joe Fiorillo spent quite a bit of time searching for, and found, an AWD with everything. He was patient and determined to help me find what I wanted. He arranged to have the car delivered to your dealership, prepped and brought to my home at the end of the day. If not for Joe, I may very well have gone elsewhere and probably settled for my second choice in a vehicle.

I had a fluid leak after a recent repair job performed by the dealer. When I called they got me set up immediately and when I needed to change the appointment from that morning to afternoon I was able to do so on the computer with very little effort. Went to Auto Nation GMC/Buick to look at a 2014 used GMC Terrain. Met Robert (Bob) Lyman the sales rep. Bob was the most honest, helpful and knowledgeable salesman I"ve ever had the pleasure to do business with. I purchase a new vehicle for myself and my wife about every three or four years so I know the drill, not usually a fun experience. I went there thinking I would purchase a used Terrain. Bob was able to tell my wife wasn't happy with the used Terrain although they had several to choose from. Bob took the time to show me all of my options buying used, buying new, even the sales manager got involved and helped to work a lease deal that allowed me and my wife to get the exact color and equipment she (we) wanted. They really took the time to explain how the vehicle and equipment all worked at the time of delivery too! I drove clear across town and really glad I did. By the way Bob is a 21 year Marine Veteran, that probably explains his kindness and patience. Great buying experience!!!!!!!!!

I was approached by a young sales women who really surprised me that she was so informed and knew all the options and how they operated on a GMC 1500 truck. Most male sales people at other auto companies sales persons never in my 60 years of purchasing trucks and cars was as well informed/trained/had vehicle knowledge as the women who helped me through the benefits and advantages of owning a GMC truck. Based on her abilities I now own a 2014 1500 Sierra Truck. I must add that over the past week to 10 days she has contacted me 4-5 times with offereing her assistance in any feature of my truck that I could need her assistance. I owned my own electronic business for over 40 years and had over 100 employees and wished at any time in those 40 years I could have found a sales person or an engineer that was as complete in dealing with the public on sales and engineering issues for our products as this young women. GMC is very fortunate to have such a person represent them to possible owners of GMC Trucks and Autos.

First of all I love my car or this experience would've been even worse I wasn't looking to buy a care as I just bought one 7 months ago but my boyfriend was buying one and I wanted to make a two car deal. They didn't want any part of that they said they didn't want to talk to me until they were done with him. So I left and the next day they had a car for me. So I went in test drove the car and left without a deal. First thing in the morning I had an emailing telling me that they bought that car just for me. Like they were. Trying to guilt me into buying it. I had my price that I was willing to pay. We were still far apart. Remember I had a new car I didn't need to buy one I had the upper hand, so I thought. We spent most of the day going back and fourth. Finally they agreed on my price and monthly payment. So I went to the dealership and signed the paperwork. Little did I know that signing a contract is not a binding contract. About a week later I got a call that I needed to come in and resign my contract. New terms interest rate went from 5 % to 8% and payments went from 72 payments to 78 payments and the monthly payment when up 15 dollars. I was very upset and of course the car I traded in was already gone, or at least that's what the said. So when they ran my credit and gave me the 5% quote they hadn't even tried to get me a loan. They just wanted the sale and did whatever needed to get it. I will never buy another car from there or recommend them to anyone

I dealt with a couple of different sales guys and the sales manager, and everyone was very helpful. I don't usually do these surveys; however, I was never more pleased with the service I received this past week. I made an appointment and came on time and was served right away. I had my oil changed, tires rotated and received the 27 point inspection. I was asked if I wanted new windshield wipers and I said YES. When I received the bill, I noticed the charge for the windshield wipers was $ 0.00. I was very surprised with the whole visit. Not just because of the wipers, but I also wasn't pushed to sell me more work as I always was in the past when I only came in for only an oil change. A very good experience.

GMC had my vehicle for one week to try and determine what the issue was with my vehicle. I felt the transmission was slipping, but they worked diligently to find any system failures and could not. My vehicle is working fine now and not sure what it was, but the dealership spoke to me a few times to get more descriptions of what was happening, offered for me to drive around with their mechanic in the car, etc. They did everything and of course gave me a loaner car to use in the meantime. Purchased 2013 GMC Sierra online. The process was painfully slow, 4th car I have bought online and this was not a smooth transaction. Left an inquiry about the vehicle, 4 days later, no response from salesperson. The manager emailed and asked if I had any questions, and told him I had not heard anything from them. Once agreement on purchase was made, they took forever to get paperwork to me to sign, and it had to be notarized ( first time for that in the 4 cars I have bought online) Then shipping took forever....... Vehicle was as expected but no second key and a nearly empty gas tank that they said would be full. This dealership is probably great to buy from in person, but not recommended for online buyers until they get their online purchases more streamlined.

I brought my GMC Terrain in for the first service appointment on April 9. 2013. I was greeted by my service advisor Alain immediately. We sat down in his office and I was asked how my day was and did I have any concerns with my Terrain. While verifying my information in the computer my vehicle was already taken to the shop to perform the service. I was offered coffee or water. The service took less than 90 minutes and they also washed my vehicle. I felt very confident in Alain and the service department. The amount of time spent at the dealership was much better than other dealers that I had previously delt with. My next appointment was set up for me and I was wished a great day. Believe it or not, Desert GMC Buick sold the vehicle to someone else while I was reviewing the paperwork.....I was an out of state buyer attempting to close the deal over the phone. They emailed me the paperwork to sign. I had some questions, called them, couldn't get a hold of the salesperson, and left him a message to call me. 2 hours later when I finally got inpatient and call him, he informed me he had sold the car to someone else. Thanks Jim and Eric. Classy move on your part!

This is the second vehicle I have purchased from Dick Wellon Desert Buick GMC. He is a perfect salesman. He asks if you already have a vehicle in mind and since I did he did not stear me to another one. Also he answers his cell phone whenever you need him.

Drove to Las Vegas from Los Angeles in 1 day just to get this car because of poor sales from 3 dealers in the LA area who couldn't find the car I wanted. In less that 2 hours I was driving back home to LA! AWESOME FAST, PROFESSIONAL SERVICE!

I've always been hesitant to get work done at the dealer because I feel like I'm paying too much. We are new in town and I don't have anything to go on regarding fair dealing with anyone in auto repair. I had an issue with a "service airbag" warning on the dash. I was told after a diagnostic that a sensor in the front bumper was faulty and needed replacing. In a moment of weakness and fearing that airbag components were out of my league for home repairs, I agreed to have the work done even though the price quoted was over $450. I paid the ticket which had a misc. charges line item of almost $35. When I questioned this, I was told it was to pay for shop incidentals such as towels and things like that. I found this amount unusually high since they only replaced an electronic component that you could hold 3 of in your hand. The next day I took the vehicle back because the "service airbag" warning was still showing on the dash. Now I'm told I have another defective unit but to quell my anxiety of probably another $500 bill, was told I would receive "lots of discounts and no labor charges for the second sensor. Ok, they are working with me I thought. With some research, I found the first sensor was sold to me for $30 more than retail, the second was sold to me at retail minus 10% and that the sensor is available from gm parts direct for half what the first one cost. Ok, now that I'm feeling ripped off, I go under the car to find out how hard the parts are to exchange. They are in plain site, nothing to get out of the way, 1 bolt, 1 electrical connector. $256 labor.My contention after all this is that I was overcharged for the original part and grossly overcharged for labor. There was 1 hour and 45 minutes between my auth. to do the work and when I was told my car was ready. $256 labor. Enjoy that extra money because I won't be donating any more.After hearing from the dealership, I understand half the labor charge was for diagnostics. They realized half the labor was at the wrong higher rate and refunded $40. They had no answer for my complaint about charging $35 for shop supplies to plug in an electronic module or charging $30 more than retail for the part. No way would I trust them ever again.

Long story short I had a very pleasent experience with Dave Cassellan who not only followed up on every aspect of my questions but when I picked up my new GMC 3500 he actually knew how to work and program everything in the vehicle, amazing. I would recommend you look up Dave if you visit this dealership.

The employees made us feel as comfortable as possible as their dealership is currently under going construction. The trailer we were in got quite crowded toward the end of the day. However, the reason we were there was to purchase a new Terrain, we thought we could get a little better price but were satisfied with the deal. Overall it was a good experience.

We found the car we wanted on Sunday when the dealer was closed. I decided to return and met with Steve Ballero. I found him to be very pleasant and helpful. His biggest concern was my comfort and making sure I had what I needed by providing comfortable surroundings and answering all my questions and taking the car on a test drive. I really enjoyed working with Steve and consider him to be a #1 salesman. I will definitely refer anyone I know that is looking for a car to him. I found access to the dealership to be very easy and I'm sure that when the remodeling is done, the facility will be #1 as well. I brought the car back to have windows tinted and some work done on the headlights. Both jobs were completed promptly. I enjoyed dealing with everyone involved in closing this deal and getting the work done on the car.

This was the best experience of my life...and I have had to buy at least 40 vehicles in my life. He was quick no pressure. They gave us a 3 day return policy a 90 day warranty and 2 years of oil changes and this was on a 13 year old used truck. I would highly recommend DESERT BUICK AND BRIAN in particular. They just won me back over to dealers instead of private parties. Thanks Desert Buick Love my new truck and have zero buyers remorse...I LOVE IT!!!!

When I arrived at the dealership I met with the salesman Larry Francis and I explained to him exactly why I was purchasing a vehicle. Which was to reestablish my credit. I also explained to him that I was looking for something dependable and inexpensive. Mr. Francis showed me what was available on the lot and was very patient with me as I made my decision. I purchased a 2004 Chevrolet Impala and was very pleased with the discounted purchase price. I was very impressed with Mr. Francis professionalism and willingness to assist me in getting exactly what I was trying to purchase. The next night while i was driving the vehicle to work, the temperature gauge appeared to rise and fall very rapidly. So After I got off work the next morning I returned to the dealership and met with Dave Thomas the Used Car Manager and explained to him that the temperature gauge appeared to rise and fall very rapidly in the vehicle. Mr Thomas apologized for the problem I was having with the vehicle and stated that he would be happy to send the vehicle over to the service department and have the problem fixed at no cost to me.I explained to Mr. Thomas that I didn't feel comfortable about the vehicle having the problems it was having and wanted to utilize the 150 miles/3 day return policy to select another vehicle. Mr. Thomas stated it was my choice to have them fix the vehicle at no cost to me or I could utilize their return policy and choose another vehicle.I stated to Mr. Thomas I would just rather choose another vehicle. Mr. Thomas made contact with the salesman Dick Wellon to assist me in selecting another vehicle. Mr. Wellon showed me what was available on the lot and was also very patient with me as I made my decision. I purchased a 2001 Pontiac Grand Prix and was again very pleased with the discounted purchase price. And again I was very impressed with Mr. Wellon's professionalism and willingness to assist me in getting exactly what i was trying to purchase.Mr. Wellon apologized again about the problems I had with the first vehicle and even special ordered an extra key that I needed for the Grand Prix, at no cost to me.Even though I had problems with the first vehicle I purchased. I'm very pleased with the excellent customer service I received and I'm very happy with the exchange for the second vehicle. I WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND THIS DEALERSHIP TO OTHERS AND I WILL PURCHASE MY NEXT VEHICLE FROM THEM. OUTSTANDING JOB GUYS!!!!!Wesley
