I was looking for a truck and found one at this dealership online. I called and scheduled an appointment with no problems and drove up to have a look at the truck. Once there, my wife and I were met by Michele, who was a delight to work with. We bought the truck and drove it home. The price we paid was very competitive with other dealers but the treatment we received was outstanding. No pressure to buy the truck and very quick to answer any questions that we had. I purchased the Zurich protection and Alyssa alvey was horrible from bayside in prince Frederick. She never returned a message from my wife. I had to call the next day and asked if she got the message and she had no explanation as to why she never called her back. When I showed up for my visit she never smiled and did not have my paper work ready.

I purchased a used 2014 Silverado "Blackout Edition" work truck from Bayside. Overall a nice experience. Everyone there was easy to work with, and friendly. Andre was great to work with.My wife suggested that I check to see if there are/were any recalls on my truck, and I found out(online) that a recall was announced 4 days prior to my purchase. I printed out the notice, and visited the service department to set up an appointment.On the day of the appointment I was told it would take 60-75 minutes. I was back on the road in 75!Everyone was very nice here, and the waiting lounge is nice as well. An overall great visit at the Service Department.

Well I bought a car from bayside a month ago, after I got done signing the papers to complete everything I was surely hoping to drive away with THE CAR I BOUGHT. But I didn't some how they "lost the key" moments before I was done with papers. On top of that once I got my car (the following week) supposedly they are suppose to go threw everything before I drive the car off the lot well my oil in my new used car was 8k miles past due... Also when I bought car I only got one key with the car. I'm pretty sure I'm supposed to get two... Before I did the financing on the car I had a chose to finance with there bank or one of my chose, but I didn't get that chose and got a really high interest rate and paying 7k in interest and if I would have done it threw a bank of my chose would only pay 2k in interest. So send me some more rate me emails I'll blast that as. Tryna fool me like sht. Also have had my car for a month now and still haven't got a phone call, email, text about them coming in or not. One more month and my temp tags will be expired. Thanks bayside mo fukas

I would never recommend this place to anyone! To start off I was strung along regarding my financing for 3 days, they never even checked with the financing company that I requested they check with on multiply occasions. Them I was lied to that they had a solution and when I arrived it was under a completely different company. I have yet to get my second key for my vehicle, After a month of having my vehicle I just got my paperwork. They have called me twice saying that they are missing information. Both sales persons I worked with have been fired. I still don't have my new stickers for my tags because they just started processing last week. I called 5 days after the purchased and checking my credit report to tell them I wanted to walk out of my contract and never heard back from anyone... This has been THE WORST EXPERIENCE EVER IN MY LIFE purchasing a vehicle. They lie, cheat and steal to get your business... hey I guess that's just a used car sales men for you!!!

For the first time in 18 years my husband and I decided to try a different Chevrolet dealership and we're happy that we did. We told our salesman John Bausch how much we wanted for our monthly payment to br and he delivered. We bought a beautiful blue 2016 Chevy Cruze and we couldn't be happier. The car gets great gas mileage and that works great when you drive 90 miles one way to work. The finance manager worked with us to get the payment we wanted. We enjoyed everyone at Bayside and their willingness to make the deal run smoothly. We will definitely go back when we buy our next vehicle.

I don't know how she did it but Amy summarized my needs 100% when she put me in the perfect car. I went in frustrated and in need of a new vehicle, minutes away from signing off on the purchase of a new Ford from an awful Ford dealership in Prince Frederick. I just thought I would check one last place before committing. Well everything I wanted and needed from a vehicle plus bonus sporty features that I had considered too luxury, she found for me in minutes. At a price well within my budget! Then Juan jumped through hoops to get the financing and now I am proud to have my first real car loan and a brand new car in my name alone. I had to hug them both when it was all over. EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE ALL AROUND!

Josh Harris was an excellent and knowledgeable sales person and was helpful throughout the process of test driving and purchasing my 2015 Chevy Camaro. By contrast, I was provided an incorrect total estimate by management for the subject vehicle that represented approximately a $3,500 difference in the overall price of the subject vehicle. However, I note my car care package was upgraded from 3 years to lifetime. Additionally, the posted description of the subject vehicle advertised it had "All Whether Tires;" however, the invoice stated performance tires, which are not suggested for fall/winter driving. This is tantamount to deceptive advertising and will cost me ~ $1,200.00 according to an estimate I received from Bayside Service staff. Nevertheless, I am enjoying my 2015 Chevy Camaro thus far.

We went out looking for a new vehicle and came across Bayside. We were greeted promptly and had an overall great experience. Instead of purchasing a new vehicle from another dealer, we ended up purchasing two used vehicles from Ryan and Bayside. The whole experience from start to finish exceeded our expectations. I would of given 5 stars but when I returned to get a item from my vehicle I traded in parts were stolen out and nobody tryed to help find or consider to replace for me.I would recommend holly Sweeney to anybody trying to bye a new or used car. I came to Bayside looking for a car for my teenage driver. I met Steve Johnson and I explained that I needed a safe, reliable used car for my daughter. He set me up with a Honda CRV- low miles in good condition, great price. He took extra steps to make sure it was especially safe by making sure it had new tires, brakes and headlights. From Sales to Service, I am convinced that Bayside is an exceptional dealership and truly does care and strive to win your business. I'd never been to Bayside before. I was interested in the Chevy Cruze and found what I was looking for listed there online so I decided to swing by. Upon arrival, I encountered Steve Johnson who accommodated my request to have the Cruze I was interested in brought up front so I could take it for a spin. The car looked good and drove well. I told Steve I would have my daughter stop by to get her blessing as in the end it was for her. She loved it, so game on. The next day I went to haggle out the price and financing. Steve was very cordial and professional and we were able to come to an amicable agreement on the price. I also agreed to let Bayside compete on the financing although I had excellent terms via my credit union. They were able to closely match it as well as the GAP insurance I desired. This reduced the paperwork and wait time due to the need of the credit union to have to FEDEX everything to me. On to finance we went with Mike Austin. He also was very efficient, patient, and professional and answered all my questions and concerns. Deal was done and we're out of there fairly quickly. Fast forward to the Friday of Memorial day weekend and the warranty is on its last day. The car is idling rough and 3 dash service warnings are popping up! I wrote a professional and courteous e-mail to Mr. Mark Wanamaker, the General Manager, and Mr. Steve Thompson, the Sales Manager explaining what had happened. I honestly didn't believe that I would hear back from anyone but I was very mistaken. On Memorial day I was contacted by Ellen Jackson in Service and asked to bring the car in the next day so they could resolve the problem. I agreed. My wife was able to take it in the following day. After trouble-shooting, they determined it required a part which they fully covered including labor. It wasn't in stock and would take several additional hours to get it in and make the repair. Mr. Wayne Lopez was kind enough to offer my wife a loner vehicle so she wouldn't be stuck there all day. She declined and decided to hang out and wait. Mr. Lopez ensured she was comfortable in the customer lounge which also had several HD TVs and amenities. After final repairs, she was also able to pick up the car license plates - good timing. From Sales to Service, Bayside was excellent. This purchase by far was the best vehicle purchase experience I've had. Bayside and their team truly are a stellar car dealership and work very hard to win your business. They've certainly earned mine and I appreciate their efforts ...Mike R.

well I did schedule my 30,000 mile oil change and you guys didn't log the appointment, and then rescheduled with me, and then wouldn't you know i was less than 100 miles over at that point for my warranty, so of course i took it elsewhere to get oil changed and when the mechanic brought me back to look at my tires when he had on lift..all 4 of my tires were dry rotted on the inside, its truly a wonder I was not involved in a blow out with cracks and bubbles, I have had them rotated and checked with every oil change with you, less than 2 years and my tires are dry rotted, shame on you , shame on your Service Dept for taking advantage of me..$550 bucks for new tires because i got sold a lemon and you guys pulled the wool over my eyes, I am friends with molly and she will be hearing about this, and i don't think I will ever buy another vehicle from Bayside again.

Two day ago my daughter started looking for a car, so we started the long process of looking. Our first stop was in St. Mary's county. We went from dealer to dealer not finding what she wanted. Because I spent 8 hour, I went home and my husband took over. I was worried because my husband is not good a getting cars. Go when she pulled up in a Honda CR-V small SUV with over a hundred a something miles and a gas guzzler at that, I was highly upset. I was just glad she came to her senses and took it back the next morning. I got there after my husband and her to make sure she got something a lot better then that. As I walked in they we talking to a gentlemen that I later found out was Steve Johnson. So I walk in and this is what I said. "Are you the person that sold my daughter that SUV with all those miles and a gas guzzler? She has to drive to and from DC 5 days a week l, so times six and you would sell her this." I said a lot more then that, but I'd be here all day if I write everything I said. I'll just say it wasn't nice. Well, Steven assured me, he didn't know, and that he just thought they were looking for something cheap. Once he found out what she needed he went over and beyond to get us the best car and deal he could. I left there very happy, so happy that he'll be the only person I ever buy from. I don't care if I move 2 hours away I'm coming back to Steve. He put my daughter in a 2013 Toyota Prius Hybrid-electric. It started out at sixteen thousand and something and ended at fourteen something with certified bumper to bumper and a extended warranty. I left there so jealous of my daughters car that I can't wait to go back and buy a car myself. So if your looking to our has a car go to Bayside Chevrolete and get the Steve Johnson experience. The way he takes care of you is not the norm with car salesmen. I've never been treated the way he treated us. I really left there with a new friend. So make sure you go there first and it will be your only stop. Even finance was awesome. I recommend this dealership over any. Stacey Ferguson

I wanted to rate Bayside Chevrolet Service Dept. 0 or LESS than 0. I bought 4 new tires at Bayside and had them put on my pick up truck and a wheel alignment on Friday. On my way to work Monday the left front tire came off and went rolling down Route 4! It was very difficult to steer my truck to the median strip on 3 wheels! Thank God I didn't hit a tree or another vehicle! My shoulder was injured from trying to steer the truck. Now my truck has to be repaired, I had to go to the ER,and get meds and PT for my injury. Not to mention I can't work and I don't have my truck!

My husband and I arrived at Bayside Chevy this morning. We felt like welcomed guests right from the moment we entered the showroom. My husband had made an email appt. and we were quickly greeted and introduced to Norri. Not only was everyone very helpful and kind, but professional. Jeff and Andy were very helpful in our process and engaged my husband in auto conversation as he was a formal GM Engineer.We were using an employee discount, we wanted to lease and had an idea about the Tahoe we were interested in. Having a GMC Acadia lease that was due for turning in, Aug 2016 we wanted to see what we could "pull ahead" to. We've bought 4 cars in the Southern MD area over the last 3 years, this was by far the best and easiest purchase that we made. Thank you to your employees, we left as happy customers who will spread the word about our experience.

Spoke to Rob Howard over the phone about my interest in a vehicle, he told me exactly what I wanted to hear to get me there. Drove 2 1/2 hours from Richmond Va, once I got there they tried to low ball me on my trade by $3,000 based on NADA, Kelley, and Carmax which added a lot more negative equity than anticipated. Rob actually tried to lie to me and say he didn't know i had a trade even though he asked me if the car I drove there was the one I was trading in based on the phone conversation we had. While trying to negotiate which he wouldn't do and explaining my case after driving 2 1/2 hours he stood up in the middle of the conversation and walked away from me as I was still talking to him. By far the worst, and most disrespectful experience I've had in 25 years of dealing with car companies. I will never buy, nor will i recommend this dealership to anyone! Emailed general manager as well as the owner, currently waiting on a response.

Explained car was in an accident. Was told after 4 days that the car needed a rim and three new tires and an alignment. Bayside did the inspection and repairs and I replaced four tires. Weeks later, front tire was going flat and rim looked bent. Took it back to Bayside and after another 4 days to look at it, was told I now need two more rims and they don't know how their machine balanced the tires with bent rims. Bayside was willing to only pay for one of two rims due to their oversight. Kevin inspected the car himself! Yet a body shop said the tires on bent rims were NEVER balanced and it wouldn't have went through an alignment that way! I do not trust these incompetent certified mechanics. Thankful my son didn't have another accident. Will NEVER go back to Bayside. Kevin has no personality and is not customer friendly. He never apologized for his oversight if not even seeing weights on the two tires he never balanced! Yet, the other two tires were weighed and balanced.

It took me a year and 8 trys to finally decide that I was ready to part with my honda. I worked with Amy to find one that i could finance and afford within my single mom budget, with barely any credit. I was a challenge to say the least. But somehow they all pulled through in finding me a 2011 VW jetta. I loved to car! It was perfect and the payments were just right. And Andy worked with me to get them there...not even 2 weeks later, I was rear ended. My jetta was totaled. Back to Bayside I went. Heartbroken of course. Amy said they just got a corolla in. It was in good shape and Andy did everything he could and worked with me to get this car where I needed it to be. It was amazing. Now I own a 2009 corolla, with a great warranty, that will last for years to come. Highly recommended ;)

Our day started with wanting to only look at new vehicles to replace our current vehicle, we started at a local big chain dealer to see what our trade could bring and start comparing vehicles, they did not have the type of vehicle we were looking for. We were at a second dealership which had vehicles we were interested in but couldn't get help, it was hot out and no one would come outside and opted to stand at the window and look out at us while standing in the AC, so we had a choice to head 2 different directions and opted to try Bayside. On our way to the dealership we found out a friend had used Bayside multiple times and had a salesman's name to ask for. On our arrival we were promptly greeted and felt welcome at the dealership, we were personally directed to Joe Lyon. Joe asked what we were looking for and immediately had help bringing vehicles to the front of the store for us and let us look at a 2014 model still on the lot that had a LOT of upgrades, they offered it to us at an un-believable deal. After looking at several vehicles we narrowed our choices down to 2 vehicles, we were shown the prices, what our trade in was worth, what our payments would be, and what other options we had, After considering options we asked to look at 1 more vehicle. This started as a "looking day" after getting our options we settled on a VERY GOOD price and went to talk with Greg in finance to get final numbers and decided to buy as we could not pass up the deal. We were given a great price on the new 2015 Chevy Traverse, and great deal on our trade in, and ended up very happy customers and owners of a new Traverse. We were helped with everything from start to finish, and very happy with the entire staff at Bayside. We will definitely recommend the Dealership and all the staff at Bayside. The following week we had to get our paint protection put on and a few minor things done, Bayside ensured we had a vehicle to drive, kept us informed during the wait for the work to be completed, washed and detailed our vehicle inside and out, and did an excellent job all the way around. If you are looking for a new vehicle we would highly recommend Bayside, from sales to finance and service an excellent choice.

I called Bayside Chevy looking for a front ouput shaft seal on my vehicle. The part was paid for up front and orderd. The next day I picked up my part which turned out to be the wrong part. They part guy had ordered the wrong part and would not return the wrong part. Luckily I'm from out of town and don't have to deal with this business. Just be warned on ordering parts with a deposit.

Sales team I dealt with was Jeff and Andy. They went out of there way to get the package I wanted. I actually left after the paperwork was drawn up because the package was not quite what we had talked about (this was after the finance team got involved.). Apparently there was an issue about the cost of the warranty. Jeff and Andy had done all they could but it just wasn't quite there. I thought that's okay it wasn't the deal I wanted and they had worked hard but it just wasn't meant to be. Jeff got hold of me a few days later. Andy had figured out how to make it work. Here I thought it was all over. Went up that night spent maybe 15 minutes with paperwork. Walked out with the truck I wanted and the deal I wanted. This is the second vehicle we have purchased with Jeff and Andy. Once again they did an excellent job .

If you want to deal with sales reps that have nonchalant and piss poor attitudes then this is the place to buy a car.Personally, I'd rather deal with people who seem eager to help get you get the best deal! Not people who act like you're bothering them and are just there to collect a paycheck.I finally told the sales rep I was annoyed with their service and walked out. I found this dealership browsing online, and quickly received an email about an inquiry I placed for a Chevy from Amy Duran. I started off by telling her up front that I didn't have very good credit, I was upside down on my car and couldn't afford a huge car payment. She assured me that she could help me. Long story short, after countless emails I was able to go into the dealership and meet Amy face to face. She and Andy were very pleasant and went above and beyond to help me. I was ultimately able to get a Chevy Cruz with a great interest rate. The payments were a little higher than I expected but a great price for what I received. We were buying a 2014 Jetta. Told the sales person, Jessica Sullivan that "This will be your first sale of the day." While waiting Nancy Spaller walked over and asked me for the keys. She said "Steve (Thompson) wants the keys to the Jetta." I thought this was strange, however, I gave her the keys. A few moments later she returned and said the car had been sold. Steve Thompson has stolen the sale. This is extremely unethical behavior is supported by the management. We talked to a manager immediately and this manager who identified himself as a owner, either Geoff or Mark Wanamaker, said he would look in to the issue and call us. We have never received a phone call.

Within one day Amy had contacted me and introduced herself to me by phone and email and inquired about what kind of car I was looking for.Amy never pressured me into coming to the dealership like most car salesmen do, she told me that when I was ready to come by that she would always be there. Today I went in and upon entry I was greated by Amy with a big hug and a huge smile. She had already had the keys in her hands of the vehicles that I was interested in. We went and test drove 2 different vehicles and throughout the test drives we had a wonderful conversation, she made sure that I would be comfortable and pleased with either vehicle that I would be purchasing. We purchased a Certified Used 2013 Chevy Cruze for our son. It was a very good experience. We looked at and test drove several vehicles within our (my son's) budget on the first evening. We felt no pressure to make the purchase. After discussing our options, we returned the following evening and made the purchase.Until this purchase, I have never purchased a used vehicle from a dealer and have not purchased a used vehicle in over 30 years. I was really dreading the entire process before we arrived, but was pleasantly surprised.The only thing I did not like, but this was my fault, was financing through the dealer to our bank. The application was shotgunned out to 5 different banks in the process so my credit was dinged 5 times. It was not a really big deal as my credit score is super high, but something to consider if your credit score is borderline. Next time, I will do what I normally do and obtain the financing first. Live and learn. I do not consider this to be a complaint and it should not be considered as such. Ultimately, I ended up financing with a different bank at a slightly lower interest rate anyway. Dealing with Greg Heffner was great.I am still going through the "We Owe" process, but everything is being handled fine and professionally.The car has been wonderful. There have been no problems with it at all. Very pleased with it.Very pleased with the entire experience at Bayside Chevrolet (or Bayside Group).Highly recommended.

We have been looking for a car to buy for my son. We found the perfect car - an Acura, which was great on insurance, had excellent safety features, and it even was the exact color he wanted. Therefore, I called Harry on Thursday morning to find out if the car was still available. He told me the car still had to go through the shop and he would put a rush on it to be done by Saturday. He said he would call us Friday night to make sure everything was good since we had to drive three hours. He called me Friday about noon and said the car had been sold. I then called the manager, Jim, and he said he wasn't aware of the total details of my conversation with Harry and he was the one who sold the car. My son was very disappointed as well as myself. Beware of the slimy business practices of this dealership.

It was a classy place to do business.First of all they charged me an extremely reasonable fee for the delivery, one that made it well worth my while not to go pick up my new vehicle in another state but to have it delivered locally. The convenience alone was worth the money.Andy Thompson handled most of the deal, and was extremely helpful, very knowledgeable, and treated me like family from the very moment I walked in the door. Andy took the time to show me around, introduce me to most of the staff, and overall was really a wonderful host. I am an owner of a 2006 Corvette who was interested in buying a new Corvette, but wanted to test drive the new car. Sales manager said we don't let anyone test drive their Corvettes. Big waste of time.I bought a battery a few weeks ago from Bayside. I had to carry by 44 pound battery over to the far end of the dealership and bring the new on back while being escorted by a young woman. She volunteered to carry the batteries and said she does it all the time. What 200 pound man would stand by while a woman carried his battery?Incidentally, the mechanics work in a garage the is very poorly lit with very tight bays. It's like a dungeon and they must be going deaf from being so close to each other's pneumatic tools.That is my opinion. I recommend finding another dealership. Guess GM doesn't mind.

I recently went to another dealer looking at Chevrolet Malibus. I got the run around when it came time to talk money and was put off by that. So i was recommended Bayside by a coworker, i didn't go there in the first place do to a few experiences of myself and of others. When it came to new car sales i was very happy with the way they treated me and how they dealt with my purchase. Every one i talked to had a good attitude and the process was very easy.

We recently bought a 2015 Traverse LTZ at Bayside Chevrolet in Prince Frederick, MD. Nancy Spaller was our sales person. Nancy was very helpful and knowledgeable of the vehicle's capabilities and accessories. Aaron Taylor and Andy Thompson were also very helpful during the process. After the purchase, we discovered an issue and brought the vehicle in for service. Paul Hanna and the entire service team we interfaced with was professional, knowledgeable and courteous. We had to leave the car for a couple days and the dealership provided a rental vehicle at no charge for our use during that time. I also had pre-purchase communications, both Internet and telephone with Harry Nguyen during which I received professional service and information, including the fact that Bayside had the lowest price of any dealer in the entire Washington, DC area for the vehicle I was looking to buy. Overall, we were quite happy with the whole evolution. This was one of the most pleasant auto buying experiences I have had in more than 50 years of driving and purchasing vehicles. We will definitely return to Bayside Chevrolet the next time we're in the market for a new vehicle.

I had been searching for a 2014 Silverado for months trying to find the best deal and one day I saw this truck on cars.com that exceeded my requirements. It was a used 2014 with 15k miles on it but it was within my budget. I had to drive over and hour to get there but it was worth it. Bayside gave me a fair value on my trade-in and a reasonable price on the truck. It was no stress and straight to the point.

The staff at Bayside have always been so helpful in the service department. Kevin F. and Chris are always very helpful for whatever I need for my Chevy Traverse.... The minute I enter, the atmosphere was friendly. Meet with the salesman and first asked for a price. He drove a Silverado 1500 and showed it to me asking if I want to test drive it. Said no, just want the price of the vehicle. his supervisor showed me the price and was within my budget. What impress me most of this dealership, They support the MILITARY which really made me decide that this is the dealer I want to purchase my vehicle. The previous dealer I visited never had a program for the MILITARY. This dealer has one and proud to be a military and support a business that is all pro MILITARY. They understand what sacrifice and how it is being a military and the salesman somehow has a son/daughter or relative who was military. That's a true hero. BRAVO ZULU to this dealership.

I went into Bayside Chevrolet dealership this past Monday, February 2nd, already having in mind to check out a used Toyota Rav4. Not only did I get one of the best prices around for my truck, but everyone that helped me were so wonderfully friendly and kind and completely understanding and compassionate about my family situation. While buying a car from bayside is not horrible, I would highly recommend going to another dealership for service. My wife made an appointment for Wednesday, we dropped the car off Tuesday evening. With no communication from the service department by lunch on Thursday, I decided to call to inquire about the status. I was shocked to find that the car had not even been looked at, and that it likely would not get looked at until Friday morning at the earliest. ADVICE to Bayside, communicate with the customer first and foremost! Second, why accept appointments for service if they mean nothing but first come first serve anyway? Third, if you cannot handle the workload HIRE more people!

I arrived at Bayside on Tuesday, December 16th to check out SUV options. This would be my second car purchase from the dealership, but I was treated just like the first time I had purchased a car, with superior customer service. I was greeted and taken to look at the car to establish if the car was what I was looking for inside and out. Jeff was able to answer all my questions and establish which SUV would be best on the lot for me, which in the end became the Black 2015 Equinox. Unfortunately, I couldn't process everything that night due to having to plan some things out, but I contacted Jeff on Thursday and asked him to write the paperwork up, as I wanted to come by that evening to purchase the vehicle. Upon arrival everything was laid out, the car was up and ready for viewing and the paperwork was prepared for me to read over and sign, I like efficiency and he had it! After the paperwork was processed, questions were asked, rebates were discussed and I felt comfortable so we submitted the paperwork. It was an easy process because Jeff, Andy and Greg made me feel comfortable in my decision and each member of the team even worked the numbers to figure out various scenarios for me. My first purchase from Bayside Chevy was a New 2013 Cruze Sport Edition and I loved and still love it, but needed more space so I purchased a New 2015 Chevy Eqinox and I LOVE the space the SUV offers and the SUV itself! Great experience! Great People! This will be my dealership for life, I am sure of that!

I had extremely polite and professional dealings with Aaron Taylor as well as Andy Thompson in buying a new 2015 Chevrolet Colorado. Having educator pricing available made the sale go smoothly (and thankfully without negotiation), and Aaron was both friendly and a straight shooter throughout. For our older vehicles, both Kevin Freeburger and service manager Kevin Murray have been consistently honest and helpful in getting problems solved. This includes the major task of getting Toyota to do the right thing and agree to replace the prematurely rusted frame on my 2005 Tacoma.

I have been looking for a new car for a couple of months now, as mine was on the outs after 211k miles. I couldn't keep sinking money in to it with no return. So I started my search. I initially was looking at a 2013 Sonota that they had sitting on the lot. Sadly my finances would not allow me to by the car. I had to stay in my budget in order not to finance. So I told Jeff and Jim about this and they said well, how about this. They started talking to me about a 2003 Toyota Camry they just took in on trade, and was completely within my budget. They let me take the care out for a test drive and that was it. They made the experience pain free and simple. I came in to the dealership, test drove, got a price and signed the contract for my slightly used new car. All within about an hour. There was no pressure to buy nor was there any dissatisfaction in the entire experience. I also got to work with Andy along the way, who made sure everything was as it should be. There were a couple speed bumps along the way with the car that would not allow me to take it home for a couple days. Andy made sure had something to drive until the car was ready. After all was said and done I am happy with the car and with the service and help I received from every one at Bayside. Thanks again for making this painless. I would recommend Bayside to anyone looking for a great deal that comes with a hassle free experience.

I called to set up a test drive on a Saturday afternoon. I met Kenny Gibson and told him I wanted to test drive the 2015 Traverse. Kenny was very nice and helpful. I told him after the test drive that I will be back on Monday with my brother and to be ready he ask a lot of questions and want to look the SUV over real good before I buy it. On Monday I test drove other SUV and none drove like the Traverse. I went back to Bayside and brought the Traverse I wanted. Kenny and his manager Andy helped me out. At first I wanted something different in the Traverse so they ordered me a new 2015 Traverse with what I wanted. Then on Monday I wanted the one I test drove. Andy gave me a good deal on. I Love it. It has everything I wanted. I just added the running board.

This really kinds of pains me to write this because I live in Calvert County and we are somewhat forced to leave the county to buy anything. So, this weekend, my son got his first loan approved to buy a new 'used' car. I convinced him to look locally first thinking it may benefit him in the future. We went by Bayside and were immediately jumped on prior to entering the building. The saleswoman got to my son before I could catch up and quickly discovered we were not buying a new car. We immediately became second class citizens! She went directly to her sales manager who gave her a list of cars that I'm sure he wanted out of their inventory. However, we selected one to see that was on the PenFed website. This tricked them up and when they FINALLY brought the car up for our review, it was disgusting!!!! It was a joke. The car had looked like a family of 15 own it and just dropped it off. My son's car is not good in most cases, but compared to the car they brought up, even his standards were exceeded!!!! I buy a car every 3 to 4 years and will NEVER consider Bayside!!!!!

I bought a truck from bayside dealing with joe a couple years back, shortly after referring two more people to him who also purchased trucks. BUT when I came back and wanted to trade in again for a car with negative equity to be rolled he gave me some optimistic xxxxxxxx story about how he's gonna get the deal done and never returned a single phone call. Like all salesman he is about the easy deal, and when it actually comes down to having to do some work the lies will start flowing. Ourisman in Bowie completed my deal several days later. I will never deal with this dealer again. Oh and one my referred customers also had a warranty thrown into his deal that he never agreed to so thanks of the finance dept for that one too.

From the beginning, the low pressure attitude of the place made me feel comfortable. I didn't return to several other dealerships when I was car shopping simply because they came on too strong. These guys were almost the opposite. I felt like I was given plenty of time and room to make a decision, and , once I did, they handled the rest quickly and easily. It was nice to not have to "leave the county" and yet get comparable prices. Jeff was very personable and easily accessible to communicate with.

You can't ask more from a dealership than to have friendly faces, an affordable price, and people who use numbers and words that make sense to your needs. I test drove my car in the morning, and they got my trade-in appraised, the car put through inspect, finances taken care of, and the care ready-to-go by the afternoon. This was my first time buying a car from a dealership. My Mom, referred me to Jeff Lehnen(she normally does not like car salesman but she likes Jeff). I was on a very tight budget and Jeff wanted to make sure I purchased something I really wanted and something that would last a long time. Jeff wasnt just looking to make a sale he wanted to have a happy and satisfied customer (plus I think he didnt want to disappoint my Mom)! Jeff introduced me to Andy Thompson (the numbers guy as my Mom says)! Andy provided the bottom line with some discounts which made the decision a lot easier for me. My husband and I knew that we were looking for a 2013 Camaro ZL1 and saw on the internet that Bayside Chevrolet had one in stock. On June 24th, we traveled over 80 miles to look at this car not knowing if we were definitely going to buy the vehicle or not. We were greeted very quickly by Jeff Lehnen. We explained what we were looking for and the vehicle we would be trading in. Jeff was very friendly and helpful and took us right to the car we were looking for. He answered all of our questions for us in a professional and courteous manner. Everyone in the dealership was friendly and greeted us. There was such a positive atmosphere at this dealership, you could tell that everyone enjoyed their jobs and we felt like the customer was #1. The sales manager (sorry I forgot his name) went out of his way to make sure the deal happened. We made our deal, and signed all the paperwork with Greg Heffner. Greg was also very friendly and answered any of our questions concerning financing. We actually had to drive back 80 miles to pick up the car we were going to trade in and bring it back to the dealership and they were very understanding. While we were making the travel to get our trade in, Jeff went out of his way to make sure our new purchase was cleaned just the way my husband wanted it. The whole buying experience was awesome from the moment we drove up on the lot, the negotiating, the financial paperwork, until we drove away in our beautiful new car.

Upon arriving we were met by Jeff and he was customer friendly and straight forward from the beginning. I had already done research on cars wanting to look at and had 2 in mine, 2009 Nissan & 2011 Honda. Honda wasn't there, so Jeff and the Sales Mgr.(don't remember name) got car from sister dealership for me too look at on Memorial Day. Bought car on Monday with no issues and the finance manager, Greg, was also very helpful and customer friendly. Nice to buy a car with no issues, haggling, or frustration. Jeff did more than that, when I saw the Spark he told me it is the safest car on the lot, it is awesome on gas. If any one asks me where they think they should go for a car. I actually ran into Robert Smith, a past co-worker, going to a doctors appointment. I asked him if they had any cars in my price range and he said "Yes! Several. Come on by today." I went home and looked at all the pre-owned cars and spotted the Audi A4. I called Robert around 1pm and in about 15 minutes I was there test driving my new car. Robert, Andy, Steve, Karen, and Jim Tennison were very friendly, professional and organized. I truly enjoyed purchasing my new (used) vehicle from Bayside. After traveling from dealership to dealership, comparing pricing and package of each truck from Ford, to Dodge truck, I ran across bay side Chevy. I notice there nice new shiny truck display on there parking lot. I got out and started looking, and notice a few truck that caught my eye, about this time Ray approach me and introduce him self to me. We started with small talk, and after thirty minutes I felt very at ease with Ray. I told him about my problem and passed experiences, and with great understanding he share a few stories with me about him. I notice this came from the heart and with complete honesty. We decided to take a truck out for a spin. He showed me what the truck can do and show me a lot of stuff I didn't even know about with new technology that trucks have today being I'm old school. As I was pushing buttons, and turning knobs, said to Ray it doesn't have a tow package, then I notice I was having trouble with the computer on board. Manuel setting it, I said to my self I wish it had touch screen, electrical seats,windows, lower lumbar, storage space. 4 door. So Ray being a Chevy owner him self. I ask him to build me one in the color I wanted, I trusted him and felt in good hands with Ray to building my dream truck. With a swipe of a computer mouse, Ray show me my new truck on paper. I remember thinking to my self it will come back as a plain old stock truck, nothing fancy. But to my surprise. Ray show me the spec on the truck I was truly thinking about in my head. It came back with , electrical windows, tinted glass, navigation system, touch screen computer, 4 door, color of my seats, cruise control, all wheel tire traction, He came back with more feature, then I could imagine. I look at him and said to my self he was listing, he heard all my needs, for want I needed my truck for and came though for me.I would like to say Thank you Ray and the whole Chevy dealership team for being nice and knowledgeable on my truck and Thank for crunching the numbers with me. Ray thank you for the great maintenance package, bumper to bumper for 100.000 miles, (WOW) I know Ford nor Dodge can't come close to Chevy made in America. Again thank you and god bless. In searching for a used vehicle for my daughter, I remembered that a friend of mine worked at Bayside Chevrolet. His name was Jeff Lehnan. My wife and I went to the dealership and just from talking to him I felt like we would purchase a car from this dealership. He showed us all the cars we were interesed in within our price range but unfortunately the color my daughter would like was unavailable. We consulted more with Jeff and he was able to track the sopecific car and color that was soon to arrive at the dealership. One day later we were purchasing the vehicle to my daughters delight. Jeff was friendly, polite and knowledgeable about the vehicles. He gave us the sense that we would be happy with the price after talking with finance. At the end of the day my daughter has been driving the car for over a month and completely loves it. In the future when looking for a car, my wife and I will surely go back to Bayside. joe lyon was great he worked with me very hard to get the best deal and financing i was however very disappointed in the service dept that cleans the cars i was told to bring my truck back one day that is was sunny because the day i purchased it was pouring rain but i must say it looked better that day then when i took my time out to bring it back for a good cleaning that was owed to me what a pour job all they did was wipe it down with a clothe no vacuming was done still had bugs on the windshield and nothing done to the tires no tire shine or wheel cleaning at all they need to hire some new people in that dept i would not bring my truck back for a cleaning job again.

My granddaughter purchased a used car from Battlefield Ford & was screwed & abused on the purchase of a used Cadillac crossover. As a result, after 6 months she was left with an auto that would require over $6k worth of work just to run & still had a loan of over $6700 to pay for at over 20% interest. She has 2 small children plus a job that required transportation to get to work. Her husband has suffered from PTSD ever since returning from Afghanistan & resulted in a separation. Here she was left alone with 2 children, a large debt, limited income & no transportation. I happened to be at the service department at Bayside picking up my Toyota when I asked Paul Hanna if he was aware of any less expensive used cars on the used car lot. He said he was & directed me to the Jeff in sales. From that point forward it was if a miracle happened. Jeff & his amazing sales manager made the purchase of a 2003 Crown Victoria, one owner, 112k miles, mint condition for $4500 possible. When I called my granddaughter to tell her about it, she actually broke out in tears - at work. When she told her supervisor about the transaction, he could not believe it .... he was aware of the crappy deal she had dumped on her at Battlefield Ford. Even if it would require a bit of travel time, it is so worth to travel to Prince Frederick, MD, to deal with the most honest, trustworthy people in the auto industry. We have dealt with the company since moving to the Calvert County, MD in 1999 & have purchased 2 new Toyotas from them. Obviously we would NEVER trust our purchases or service to any other company. This transaction though made us believers that there are people in auto sales who have a heart for those struggling just to get by.DON'T EVER SAY" YOU ARE JUST A CAR SALESMAN" AROUND MY FAMILY WHEN REFERRING TO THE PEOPLE AT BAYSIDE TOYOTA & CHEVY. Normally don't like car shopping because of sales people being so pushy. Not at Bayside, Jeff Lehnen took his time to see exactly what I was looking for in a new vehicle. At no time did any employee of Bayside try to talk me into something more expensive or a vehicle I wouldn't be happy with. Not only Jeff but Andy Thompson and Steve Seek made sure first and foremost I was happy with the vehicle, but also kept it in the price frame I knew I could afford. These guys are the opposite of most dealers I have ever dealt with, very laid back, down to earth nice people. I will continue to recommend Bayside Chevrolet to all of my friends and family. Jeff, Andy, and Steve were all very helpful with my situation, stuck with several high mileage vehicles, my family and I were in a jam trying to figure out what our options were, my oldest son just starting out with little to no credit, and my credit taking a hit myself, rebounding from a health scare issue that caused me to have to let go of a second full time job that I spent 11 years at, I called Bayside thinking I would be told there was nothing they could do for me, I spoke with Jeff Lehnen on the phone first, told him my situation, he called me back asking if I could come to the dealership, my son and I both looked at their inventory on the lot, Jeff Lehnen worked with us to help pick out two vehicles that we liked, and worked with Andy Thompson, and Steve Seek, and much to our surprise, we both drove home in two brand new 2014 chevrolet's, I have three more family members that need cars and already made my mind up i'm coming back for more, looking forward to buying more new chevys, thanks Jeff, Andy, and Steve for a wonderful experience, so nice to be driving to work without worrying about breaking down!

My son called Joe Lyon and told him I was looking for a car. Joe called me and asked questions as to what type of car I was looking at. I told him and he took all the information and said he would check out different cars to see which would be better for me with my handcap and he would get back to me. He checked different cars out and called me to tell me which he thought would be better for me. We had it down to 2 and then to one. At that point I went to the dealership and checked the car out and was very pleased with his choice and left with it. He really made my visit very pleasant. I would definitely recommend him and will I am sure.

Upon arrival I was greeted promptly and introduced to Nancy. During the test drive was very knowledgeable and pointed out all of the safety features. She showed me different cars and explained all the differences between the models and pricing. She was aware of the price range I wanted to stay in and never tried to "upsell" me. Nancy and Steve both worked to get me the best interest rate and went above and beyond to find me great financing and offered me several options. Steve was very thorough in reviewing all of the after market and warranty options available. I would recommend this dealership to anyone in the market for a quality car with a helpful sales team.

We went to Bayside based on a vehicle we had seen on the internet. We were greeted by our salesperson who asked if we needed help and he gave us his name. I heard of Bayside from a friend who was very happy with his truck deal. Having seen the upholstery offered on the High Country, I decided to go find one at Bayside. To my surprise, they did not have one in stock, but they located one in Virginia with all the options I requested. Within two days they had it deliverd to Bayside. Once the truck was delivered to Bayside, it was discovered that there was a serious problem caused by the protective plastic cover. After the plastic had been removed a residue remained on the truck in many areas (bumper, wheels, body, chrome trim). The garage staff at Bayside worked for hours preping the truck for me. Jeff Lehnen and Eric Cosme, along with Bayside's garage staff, helped organize cleaning the residue and fixing any other problem they found. I commend all employees involved in this major cleanup. I can't say enough for their help.I wish to recognize the following staff members: Jeff Lehnen, Eric Cosme, Joe Lyon, Steve Seek, Andy Thompson, and Nancy Spaller.

I had been looking to purchase a used car for a while and I was delivering lunch to the dealership on Friday, March 14, 2014 and just happened to ask Jeff Lehnen what kind of used cars he had for sale. He asked what I was looking for and I told him I couldn't stay because I was working. He asked me to come back after work and he would have something for me -- infact he had more than one and just what I was looking for. I couldn't have asked for a better plan. I would definitely recommend Jeff and the entire dealership to anyone I know that is looking for a new or used car. I actually had to change some paper work for insurance reasons and I went back on Monday morning and Andy Thompson handled it and it was no problem at all. Walked in and met Robert. Unlike other salesmen I've dealt with at numerous other dealerships I did not feel pressured or haggled whatsoever. I'm sure the review will be lost under a pile of "fluff" reviews, but I am compelled to write it anyway. I bought a Certified Preowned Equinox from this dealership. After owning it for less than 10 months I've put over a $1000 into it. Why have I put money Into a certified car? They don't stand by any sort of warranty. If anything happens to a vehicle they find it, conveniently for them, not under warranty. When I purchased the car, there were all sorts of old food from the previous owner left under seats and in the door jams. I traded a vehicle in and was told the car would be cleaned out. They didn't. They left my business cards in the center console and I received calls from two separate individuals who were looking at my old car to get info about it. The vehicles rear lift actuator went bad. When it was to be repaired they made me wait an hour before telling me they ordered the wrong part. The real kicker is the cracked coolant line and reservoir that were not covered under warranty just 8 months from purchase. After this repair, the car still ended up overheating. They fabricated an elaborate story about how they had to remove the engine heads and disassemble the engine to get to the coolant line. All this to justify charging me hundreds in labor to change two parts. Service department is rude and sales don't care once they have your sale. No loyalty. I still have not heard back from them regarding the above coolant line issue. Even a call to GM prompted No reply. Radio silence. Pretty much sums up their policy. Sell the car, keep quiet and don't respond to customer service issues. Buying from Bayside Chevrolet has been a costly mistake for me, and I'd like to prevent others from going through the same mistake. Dealer pressures you to fill out this survey. I resisted, as I don't feel a forced survey is genuine. However, They have earned this survey.

My husband and I have been looking for a used car to purchase for a while. Thru a lot of visits to the dealerships, I happen to find Bayside online. We happen to reach the place as they were closing on saturday but Karen was very kind and patient as we looked at the car. She said since we are here, take a test drive and see how we like the car. We had driven from Bowie and felt bad keeping her from going home but she insisted. She said you have come this far, take a look at the car. I kept apologizing and she kept insisting. Unfortunately, we weren't able to get back to Bayside until the following weekend. Karen called almost everyday saying the car is still here. We thought the car might be sold before we could get back to the dealership. Finally got there, we had to haggle with the price for while but it all worked out in the end. Karen was great. She had the car cleaned inside and out, paperwork was ready to sign and she was courteous and patient all the time. The one thing that stood out the most was that everybody stayed until we rode the car off the lot:: Karen, the manager, the serviceman, and Janet.My husband and I appreciate the kindness, courtesy, and patience from the Karen as well Bayside and all with a smile.

Very solid experience dealing with Nancy & Trevor. They were both friendly and professional. No pushy post-sales drama and they gave us a fair amount for our trade. Our experience at the dealership was longer than I would have expected (approximately 4 hours), especially when we were the only ones there and asked them to expedite; however, we did not have an appointment so we did not have high expectations.That said, I would recommend Bayside and Nancy and would do business with them again.

My experience at Bayside Chevrolet was great. Excellent customer service and friendly sales people. The sales person that help me with my purchase was Nancy Spaller. She was so patient, smooth relaxed and professional. When I took the car out for a test ride I went down the road and back towards the dealership. She insist and ask if I drive it further down the road. This made me want the vehicle even more. When I was sitting waiting for my paper work Nancy ask if I had lunch. Yes! she even offered me lunch and something to drink many times. Other sales reps even offered me something to drink as well. I must admit I've been to many dealerships and purchase a lot of vehicles but none of them never offered me something to eat. I have a lot of good things to say about Nancy Spaller and Bayside Chevrolet it would take a TV commercial to do it. All I can say is Bayside Chevrolet is my new home dealership to shop if I ever need another car or truck.

Our Sales Consultant, Robert Smith, was great. He was extremely knowledgeable of the inventory on the lot, [extremely] patient with our indeciveness and worked with my husband and I to ensure that we were pleased with our selection and stayed within our budget. He walked us through the process step-by-step and stayed late to make sure everything went smoothly. But above all, (and what we appreciated most), was his honesty and him not 'pushing' us towards making a hasty purchase. Mr. Smith is definitely an asset to Bayside Chevrolet. His overall experience is immeasurable and I will recommend him to all my family and friends.The Finance Manager, Janet Poloski, was very knowledgable of the financing available to us and thoroughly explained all the packages available, (i.e. extended warranty options, car shield protector, etc.). She was forthright, patient and extremely pleasant to work with during our purchase. She made the financing process, (something that I've always dreaded), pretty much stress-free. We left the dealership comfortable that we were getting the best financing rate possible, along with the appropriate extended warranty package for our needs. Bayside Auto Group is lucky to have Ms. Poloski on their team.Although we did not work as closely with the Sales Manager, Trevor Bollhorst, during this purchase, we had purchased vehicles from Bayside earlier in the year and approximately five (5) years ago. He remembered us and made a special effort to greet us and ask about our family, etc. He also ensured we received a fair deal for our trade-in vehicle. It made our experience at Bayside a good one. As with Mr. Smith and Ms. Poloski, Bayside is fortunate to have him.

Mr Smith did a great job in helping us with buying the Camry. I'M a hard person to deal with when it comes to spending money,but Mr.Smith didn't pressure us nor rush the deal I ask questions he answered them or got the answers for me. I travelled 3 1/2 hours from PA. on Sat 11/2/13 to buy a Techno Pink Chevy Spark that was posted on cars.com, at your price that was unmatchable. Harry basdically sold the car to me via my phone call to you on Friday at 3PM.I was treated like a queen, the car was immaculate, Certified and the service was excellent! They even washed it again, filled the gas tank, and Jeff Lehnen even followed me a few blocks to drop off my rental car at Enterprise down the road. Way over the level of service i expected and you guys absolutely "WOWED" me! I purchased a used 2011 Ford F-150 that was in mint condition and appeared to have no issues as it had just under 22K miles... within 2 weeks it started to have mechanical issues and left me stranded - twice. Bayside sent it to Ford to have it evaluated/diagnosed and put me in a rental without hesitation while Ford had the truck. After almost 2 weeks with no resolution in sight from Ford, Bayside purchased the Ford back from me and I am now a proud owner of a 2012 certified pre-owned Chevy Silverado. The folks at Bayside were awesome throughout the entire process! I highly recommend this dealership and would not hesitate to buy another vehicle from them in the future :)

Had a very good overall experience working with Karen and Steve. Past auto purchases at various dealers have been painful and drawn out, This time was fairly quick and very pleasant. Enjoyed working with Karen and Steve. Day after the sales I needed to get the tire pressures checked. Drove up to the service bay, was promptly greeted and asked didn't I have a 2005 Malibu (one I traded). Service person may not have remembered my name but shown that he did recognize me. In and out of service in less then 10 minutes.

Karen was very friendly. Sales dept in general was very nice. My only complaint is when it comes down to the car I found a lot of bangs and scratches where the prior owner must have wrecked a few times. My husband came to test drive it but because it was pretty dirty he did not notice all the deep scratches and dents. It wasn't until I cleaned it myself that I noticed it had been ran up onto a curb or something because the whole bottom is tore up. Also the brakes won't stop squealing and when I took it in they said they were fine although it sounds horrible. Not very satisfied with service dept at all. When I brought the car in for the shield coat to be put on I showed all the deep scratches to them and they were suppose to fix them all. I was told they would buff out what needed to be buffed and do touch up paint on the rest and when I got it back most of it was not done. If I decide to buy another car from here I will make sure I go through everything with a fine tooth comb. Car fax report showed no accidents so not sure what happened to this poor car. I was told its a used car and its not going to be perfect but in my opinion when your putting that sort of money into something it better be near flawless. Its a beautiful car and should have been taken better care of but looks like it got beaten and banged up from prior owners. This isn't the fault of the sales dept however I do feel they should have pointed all this out. Unfortanatly I have had a great deal of people look at my car and question me on all the flaws. Its hard to recommend when it shows the damage.

The dealership was not pushy when I was walking around on the lot. Robert Smith was very polite and very knowledgeable on the pickups I was looking at. Once inside Trevor was also polite and he did the paperwork in a timely fashion. Then the A/C was not working and right awayservice took it in to evaluate. They gave me a new loaner to take home until the repairs were completed. This all took place on a Sat. They also transferred my running boards and mud flaps. Also they had a spray in bed liner done for me. My pickup was ready Tues. morning. Then Robert completed going over the things that were new to me. Great experience!

My overall experience at Bayside Chevrolet was very good. I've tried to go to Ken Dixon Chevrolet in Waldorf, MD, but they didn't seem to want to work with me. They never gave me a good deal, fair trade price, or even offered to mark much off of any 2013 Silverado to make room for the 2014 models. Not a good way to earn business.The saleswoman, Lisa Hogue, was very polite and professional. She did everything she could and after speaking with the managers and making every attempt to earn my business; they've earned it. They gave me a great deal for the vehicle and I thank her and the dealership for their hard work and dedication.I'll go to Ken Dixon for service; only because they're conveniently located for me, but I may never go there to purchase a new vehicle.

I met Lauren at the Toyota dealership at Bayside. I was looking for a Yaris but they had just sold the last one. She took me into the office to see if there were any close by but unfortunately the color I wanted was to far away. I told her that I was also interested in two different Chevy cars. She took me over to the Chevy lot and I got to see two models the Sonic and the Spark. I had told Lauren that I would like to take a test drive and she immediately went and got the keys. We test drove both cars but I was on a mission to try other brands to see which one I preferred. She gave me her card and said if I needed any help to please let her know. So I went on my journey to find out that the 5 dealerships I went to were horrible to deal with. I actually came out crying on one of them (Ourisman in Bowie). It made me come back to Lauren knowing she would take good care of me. I actually bought the Sonic by texting Lauren for a week. We made a deal on the price and I was ready to roll. When I went to pick up my new Sonic, Lauren had everything ready. She took me out to the car and gave me a preview of everything that was in the car. I was so pleased with everything she had done that I gave her a big hug and could not thank her enough for her patients and kindness that she offered me during our dealings. Lauren actually text me the next day to see how I was getting along with the car and if I needed any help. I have never had such great service in buying a car. I have purchased many vehicles but have never had the service that Lauren offered. Thank you once again Lauren for all your help you went out of your way to take good care of me.

I am a very confussing person and keep walking away from deals. However both Lisa and Janet worked with me and pretty much for me. With five days they had worked out a deal even I could not pass up. This was my first experience as a car buyer. My husband and I found a 2011 Chevy Malibu that we were very interested in on Bayside's website. We called earlier that week and spoke to Nick. Nick answered all of my husband's questions and even gave my husband his cell number so if he had any more questions he could call his cell even if he wasn't at work. We live about 3.5 hours from the dealership (it was worth the drive!) and we called him that weekend when we were on our way to tell him we would be there to look at the vehicle. When we got there we were greeted by other employees and I was impressed that we were asked were we there to see anyone specific because that showed teamwork and that they weren't hounding us to make a sale and to walk over one another for a sale. We asked for Nick and he already had the car out for us to look at. Nick was patient while we looked over everything. He hung back to give us our space so we could talk about what we liked and he was there to answer questions when we had them. He showed us all the options the car had to offer. We then went for a test drive. I really appreciated him making us feel comfortable and not pressured to like the car. Through the test drive we were also able to talk to him more, we enjoyed sharing our stories and hearing some of his. It made you feel like a person not a sale. When we got back from the test drive, I wanted the car. He asked us what we thought. And we hadn't gotten everything straight with our bank yet so we were planning on doing that and coming back the next weekend to purchase it. But Nick offered the idea to see what the dealership could do for us and then go from there. I'm glad he did. Turns out, the dealership offered us a better interest rate! While they were getting the paperwork straight, Nick offered us drinks and told us where the vending machines and restrooms were. He checked to make sure we were comfortable several times. He even came and sat and talked more with us. He and my husband talked football. We liked different teams, but we can't hold that against him! After they got the paperwork straight, we talked with Trevor to do all the paperwork. Being a first time car buyer, I was trying really hard to make sure I asked all the right questions and got the information I needed. He took his time, went over everything with us and answered any questions we had. Trevor was also very personable and we enjoyed talking with him about us and hearing about him and his two daughters. I liked that Trevor explained what each paper was for before I actually signed it. Next thing we knew-we had bought our first car! While we had been doing the paperwork Nick had the gas tank filled and the car washed up for us so it was ready to go. Then we were off in our car! I was very satisfied with the experience we had with them. We loved the laid back atmosphere and personal experience that was created by Nick and Trevor. I would recommend them to anyone!

The salesperson (Lisa Hogue) was so kind to my father as the paperwork for the purchase was delayed from my creditor. She made sure everything was accomplished to our satisfaction, and her attention to detail after the sale ensured little problems from my insurance carrier. Mr. Seek went far out of his way to secure an APR which was over two percentage points lower than I had originally negotiated. Despite the headaches from my creditor and his printer, he finished the job with a smile on his face. I am very grateful for their kindness and generosity of spirit, and I wish them continud success and happiness.

From personal experiences I am nothing but satisfied with the great customer services my husband and I were given the 2 times we've purchased our 4 cars from Bayside Chevy. We have gone to Bayside for the past 2 years and have purchased 2 new cars from them every time. They treat us like family and have been nothing but helpful in finding us rates that were reasonable for our budget. I LOVED the fact they were able to find the make, model, color and style car (with ALL the bells and whistles) I was looking for, which proves to me they not only care about our satisfaction, but they also listen and aim to please.

I went to them because we have just recently moved to the area and I wanted an SUV. After having an appointment with Lisa, when I arrived she was not available, so she introduced me to Nick. Nick was great. He showed me the Equinox I was interested in, took a test drive with me and made the deal happen. During the process, we chatted and got to know a little about each other. Just what I was looking for. Developing a relationship with my local Chevy dealer. Nick did something no one has ever done when I purchased a used vehicle. He took me out and went over the complete car. Showing me all the cool things this car has and how to use it. When I went into the finance office I was met by Trevor, who again was great. I told him I have been in the car business for over 30 years and this wasn't my first rodeo. We got through the paperwork quickly, he gave me a good deal on an extended warranty and again we learned al little about each other. My kind of place. I would highly recommend this dealership for your next used or new car purchase. I would highly recommend Nick and Trevor for your sales and finance needs. However their service department is a little different experience. I drove to Pennsylvania four days after buying my car and on the way back ran into a torrential rain storm. Dang if the wiper blades weren't streaking. I pulled over and found they were both torn in the middle of the blade. Now this was a certified, state inspected vehicle. This is a CPO and state inspection item. Went to the service department that following Monday and did not have a good experience at all with Tabby, the service manager. Don't know if she was having a bad day or what, but was definitely not pleasant to deal with. Needless to say I got my wiper blades replaced, and a minor interior trim item, I thought taken care of, but it wasn't. After that experience I got to thinking about the CPO inspection. I had my husband pull out the cabin and filter and low and behold it is filthy. So I'm not so sure my CPO inspection in any good. I plan on taking the car to Criswell Chevrolet and have them go over the vehicle again, just for my satisfaction. I want to know what my brake pad thickness really is.

My wife and I came in to the dealership looking for a car new or used that would give us good gas mileage.Jeff, our salesman, was very patient with us as we looked at the different cars in the lot before test driving a Chevy Spark which gets around 40 miles to the gallon, great mileage at an affordable price. We were interested in the car but concernedabout the usable space we needed for my wifes work. The dealership was very accomidating in letting us take the car overnight tosee if it would accomidate my wifes needs. My wife loved the car but it wasn't large enough inside for her work. Jeff showed us a newChevy Sonic that was upsized from the Chevy Spark and rated at 35 miles per gallon but not in our budget range. We left without buyinga car but were assured by Jeff that he would try to locate a used Sonic. Sure enough a couple of days later Jeff called and said someonehad just traded in a 2012 Sonic with 30,000 miles on it. We test drove it, tryed it out overnight and bought it. The dealership certifed the carand gave us a great warrenty. We would definately recommend shopping for a car at Bayside Auto Group in Prince Frederick. All of the staffthere were very friendly and helpful. A special thanks to Jeff for his patience with us and for all the effort he went to in finding us a car that fitour needs and a price within our budget. We are very happy with our 2012 Sonic!

My husband's 2006 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 broke down after driving it 270,000 miles. He is a home improvement contractor, so his truck is VERY important to him. He was determined to stick with the Silverado, as he knew that it would be reliable and last him a long time. Bayside had EXACTLY the truck he needed with very low mileage and a price way below Blue Book. We were greeted at the door, test drove the vehicle right away, and left with the truck. We also got plenty of extras and a 2 year maintenance plan, so we were thoroughly impressed. Hopefully this truck lasts 270,000 miles...but when it does give out, we will be back at Bayside.

They even stayed past their closing time just to be sure I got to take my brand new 2013 Chevy Cruze (Sport Edition) home! I went to Bayside to trade a 2012 vehicle that I was not happy with. I was interested in a Chevrolet but looked at them and was getting ready to leave when Robert came up to us and wanted to help. I told him what my problem was with the vehicle I wanted to trade and the Chevy had the same things that I was not happy with. He said well lets look at the Toyota's over here and see if you like any of them. We looked, he got keys for several so we went for a test drive and he kept getting keys for different models and we liked the RAV 4. Robert could not have been any better he was the reason that we bought a Toyota. I never thought I would, being a Chevy man BUT... I really like the car and we are very happy all around so far. Robert Smith was a pleasure to work with and was extremely helpful during our review of the used car inventory. I started a new car search in October. However, I didn't get serious about the search till the beginning of November. I had driven a Ford Focus in the past and had my general mindset on a "Ford". As my Dad and Stepmother purchased a Chev Cobalt a few years ago, in September while visiting my family in Pennsylvania, we stopped at a Chevrolet dealer and looked around and ended up test driving a Spark. We liked the car, but since it was very new to United States, my husband was very hesitant about it not having any history to it...The beginning of November, my previous car a 2000 Ford Escort (which I owned since new) just had seen its time. Now I had to get down to serious business and find a new car. As much as I didn't want a car payment and the Escort had been with me for 13 years and was a great car, I had to bite the bullet.After testing the Spark in Pennsylvania, while driving by Bayside Chevrolet, I decided just to stop in and see if they had any info on the Spark. At that point in time they did not have any in stock. I spoke with Nancy and she was very helpful and called me as soon as one came in. My husband wasn't quite ready to go car shopping yet, so time went by other events took up our time that needed attended to then the Escort was really on its' last leg and we had no choice. Nancy kept in touch with me from time to time to keep me posted on vehicles coming into the dealership. I started my search. I went back to Bayside to speak to Nancy. She wasn't available at the time and I was referred to Lisa. Lisa was just as great as Nancy. I ended up testing the Chevrolet Cruz ECO which I feel in love with. I didn't need to test anything else. But knowing my husband, we would need to do our homework. So I left the dealership with plans on returning with my husband. We went back and tested the Cruz, a Sonic and a Toyota Corolla. My final decision was the Cruz.We had a specific window of what we wanted to pay and our monthly payments. Lisa and the dealership worked with us to meet these specifications. It was a win/win for both of us. They were not pushy, and were not the stero type typical "car salesman". They were very patient, willing to work with us and professional.

We went to this dealer with a specific request for a very specfic vehicle on Friday November, 30. We had been talking to Andrew via email and were told to ask for Kevin O'Friel when we arrived. We got there, were introduced to Kevin and he promptly said, "I'm Kevin, you can work with Nancy." We then had to tell Nancy everything all over again and then we were told that the vehicle we wanted didn't exist. We insisted that it did and in an effort themselves right, were shown information on a different vehicle (not the which we requested.) After a little while, we were showen a "dealer ticket" and asked if this is what we were looking for. We said yes it appeared to be. We were told they would do a dealer exchange to get the vehicle we were requesting. After finally getting the information and pricing correct, we waited for 5 hours to speak with fianancing. The appointment with fiance took less than 15 minutes. We left a deposit with an understanding that the check would not be cashed until we had taken delivery of the vehicle. We were called on Saturday and told they were unable to get the vehicle until Monday. On Monday evening we went to look at the vehicle. The vehicle did not have an entertainment center, which was requested. We told the dealer that it was our understanding that this was included on the vehicle. We were then told that the missing entertainment center was not their fault, but our fault as they showed me the "dealer ticket." I indicated that I don't read "dealer tickets" everyday and didn't really know what it was they were showing me. In addition, they showed me about 5 dealer tickets that day including some on the wrong vehicle. I told them that I was willing to take the vehicle, but was no longer agreeable to the price as it was missing an item that I was under the impression was included. They told me they were unwilling to lower the price and there was no way I could ever get a better price. I then requested my check back as I was no longer wanting the car. I was told they had cashed my check and was told they had to cut me a check. After an hour and a half wait, they came back and said they were unable to give me my money back and that I needed to return in the morning. My husband went back the next day and was told the check was cashed as "the deal was completed." We explained that we never took possession of the car and were told the check would not be cashed until we had taken possession. Mr. O'Friel said the incident was our fault because we did not read the "dealer ticket" properly. We told him we were still willing to take the vehicle, but requested he lower the price by $500 due to a lack of an entertainment center (which retails for 1200). He refused saying he was unable to do this. He again reitereated that he was unwilling to refund our money and that we had to put a stop payment on the check.I have never had such an experience with a dealer and was very dissatisfied. Yesterday, to make matters worse, I received a thank you for your purchase letter and a dealer rater survey FOR A VEHICLE I DIDN'T EVEN GET!!!

I was looking for a specific truck which was no longer available, Lauren immediately took us to Grant, who went out of his way to do an all out search for our specific request. I went in with a budget and no intent to spend any additional money. He showed me the great offers that Chevrolet had to offer on a more expensive vehicle and explained it to me very professionally. Although this was out of my budget, he worked with me to make it affordable. He gave me a deal I could not refuse. I am very happy with the service that they have provided us with. Will go back for my next purchase which will be very soon.

It was a very pleasant experience as far as buying a car goes from beginning to end. I didn't feel pressured like my experience at some dealerships. After having a car accident early in September, I called Nancy Spaller a week afterwards. Nancy has been my family's go-to person for when anyone in my family needs a car. Nancy was able to get me into a new car within 2 hours that was very similar to my previous vehicle (no longer manufactured) and she and the finance guy were able to quickly work out the paperwork. My wife and I are from PA, and were looking to purchase a 2012 Chevy Equinox. The only one available (with the exact options we were looking for), was at a dealer in North Carolina. We went to a dealer where we live, and through that experience, was introduced to Grant at Bayside Chevrolet. The first second i spoke with him, he realized that our needs were very specific, and immediately took the initiative to get what we wanted. He secured the vehicle in North Carolina, had it transferred to his dealership in Maryland, gave us a great price, and my wife and I gladly took the 5 hour round trip to Bayside to piclk it up! We will be looking to purchase a second vehicle in December or January, and would absolutely consider purchasing fromthe same deale! That says a lot considering it's almosrt 3 hours from where we live!!!

Unsatisfied with cleanliness of vehicle - extremely dirty under the hood, oil was not changed and car interior was not detailed. Took the car back to dealership 2 days after purchase for the detail that I was promised. Sat for 1 hour while they detailed the vehicle only to find that vacumming was the only thing they did. They "spot cleaned" as I pointed things out. A week after purchase, the change oil indicator appeared. As far as I am concerned, they owe me a full detail and oil change. I'm pretty sure that comes standard with all vehicle purchases at any dealership.

The MOST PAINLESS car buying experience I've ever had, and I've bought a lof of cars! Neither my wife or I could believe how well and fast it went. We weren't at the dealership over 2 hours. There was no pressure, no false "games" to get actual cost of the new Prius. Karen kept us informed. She was friendly and helpful and sincere. Usually the financing process is the most difficult but not so with Jeff. We had planned on financing thru USAA but Jeff made it so easy we quickly changed our mind and decided to finance thru Toyota. The rate was better and Jeff's flexibility with the paperwork left us amazed. We had down payment money that was being transferred and not immediately available. No problem! We drove the new car home on a Friday and returned the following week with the down payment and financing paperwork. In past car buying experiences we have felt "tricked" and had to haggle about the price of the car and to wait hours to get trade=in value. This experience was just the opposite. Karen helped us decide which Prius was our best choice and pursued the specific car we chose. Once the order was placed she kept us informed about the expected arrival. The overall friendliness of everyone was wonderful.

I went in for an "emergency" buy, having just lost my car of 9 years. I had been turned down by other dealerships who either didn't want to give me financing or didn't want to talk to me because I wanted an inexpensive but good used car. As soon as I got out of my car I was greeted by a friendly sales person, who understood exactly what position I was in. She listened to my story and immediately agreed to checking on financing first so we went in and I met another sales person (the manager I believe). He also listened to what I had to say and also understood. Nobody tried to talk me into anything and nobody made me feel like a second class citizen even though I did not come in with a lot of money. They were even understanding about how I felt about losing my favorite car! It was a totally pleasant experience for my whole family - they waited while my husband and son came up from home to help make a decision and didn't object in the least. I will definitely recommend them to others, and they will be my first stop next time I am in the market for a car - new or old, planned or not.

The dealership was able to locate our car after realizing they didn't have one in the color we choose. The entire process only took a few hours, from test driving to getting the keys and driving off. The visit to the dealership was fantastic. We stopped by on 7/11/12 to begin the research process for our next new car purchase (anticipated to be in 4-6 weeks). We originally were looking at the RAV4 because of mileage. My husband is a very broad shouldered person and I was concerned about the comfort of the two of us in the front seat of the RAV4. The shoulder space was actually very good, but the knee space was a problem for him. Because of this, we decided to look at the Venza. We test drove a Venza that night but did not have time to test drive the LE FWD version. We came back the next morning and met with Kory again. He had the LE all ready to go. We test drove it and then talked with the sales manager about the price, because my husband works for a company that is a Toyota Preferred Partner. The sales manager was very good at his job. Because of the 0% financing and the $1000 cash back, we decided to go ahead and make the purchase today. We would definitely recommend this dealership and make every effort to use local businesses! It doesn't hurt that we use the service center here to service our 1997 Toyota Tacoma and our 2004 Camry (with 225k on it).

Price, I marked as good. How does one really know for sure when dealing with a car dealership that anything you purchase is a great price? The only recommendation I would make: After the purchase we received 3 different letters in the mail, i.e. manager, car sales person, and service department. My suggestion is to include a business card in the letters. I will keep a business cards, but not the letters. Just a thought. The title is in the name of Charles Edwards, because he took the loan out. We were told my name could not go on the title without being on the loan. I did not want to be on the loan. However, the car is totally for me, Linda Violante. I am the person to contact and will be the person that drives the vehicle and the person answering the survey. Since I was there for the entire transaction.

I purchased a certified pre-owned vehicle on June 22. The car was returned to the service department on June 28 for the installation of a remote start. Also, it was at this time I informed the service department that the on-star system reported an emissions problem and the fact that all the tires were low especially the left front tire. No one called me on June 28 or 29th to inform me as to the status of my vehicle. When I called late afternoon on June 28 I was told that they had gotten busy and did not get to my vehicle. Again, no one called me on June 29. I called the service department and spoke to Taby Hower who was uncertain as to the status of my vehicle but stated that she would call me on June 30 when the vehicle was ready. She did not call me on June 30th. I stopped by on June 30th and the car happened to be ready. I advised my salesperson Luisa Trembley about my problems with the service department and she assured me that Ms. Hower would be on it and be responsive. On July 2 the check engine light came on and the remote start would not work. When I looked under the hood I noticed that the windshield wiper fluid tank was empty and there was no anti-freeze in the overflow tank. I took the vehicle in once again and the service manager Taby Hower promised she would call me on Thursday, July 5 to lt me know the status of the vehicle. She did not call. I am so frustrated with the non-responsiveness of the service department and have no confidence in them nor the vehicle.

I must say several years I dealt with Bayside Chevrolet and was dissatisfied with their service. So much that I didn't want to go back. My family experienced the same. I was reluctant to go to them again this time, however, things have completely changed. I totaled my vehicle on June 8th, when a woman struck me from behind. It was time sensitive to get another vehicle and because I work in DC and a single mother, I did not have alot of time to sit in a dealership. Jim Denison and Harry worked everything out over the phone and when I got there at 5:15 pm, Joe Loyd and Jim Denison took care of me from that point and had everything ready for me, from the paperwork to the car. We chose Bayside because we wanted to support our local business if at all possible. Our salesperson Jamie Walton was helpful, informative and addressed any issues that came up. The most influential part of the deal was that we received a good trade-in on our purchase of a used vehicle. And, a guarantee of any repairs or issues for a few months after purchasing the vehicle. She handled the transaction in a professional manner with just the right amount of "the personal touch" we expected from a local dealer. Others involved were also nice and helpful. We were given a tour of the Service Department and met the Supervisor of Service who was friendly and informed. We found the vehicle we wanted and was pleased to find such a large selection. We also chose a vehicle that was on line and was able to use an extra discount we had received for being a past Chevrolet purchaser. My deal was a very difficult one to put together. I had a very specific truck in mind and there were not very many to choose from in the area. Grant & Luiza really went the extra mile to take care of me and make sure I got what I wanted. I think they had to go all the way to PA to get the exact truck I wanted. They didn't charge me extra for this and even gave me a full tank of Diesel!!!! Luiza even sat with me in my new truck and helped me set up my onstar and blue tooth and went over a few other things. I am really happy with the end result and would highly recommend this dealer! They will be my first (and probably only) stop when it comes time to purchase another vehicle.

After visiting a number of area dealerships, I decided to visit Bayside to check out a Rav4 I had seen online. Boy am I glad I did! Working with Karen and Jim was great! They made buying my first car (woohoo!) a breeze and always seemed like they were on my side. They weren't out to get me or make as much money as they could. All they seemed to be interested in was making sure that we could come to an agreement that made sense for all concerned. If I had the money, and were in the market for another car, I'd buy from Bayside before I bought from anyone else. Excellent customer service and a true no pressure sales attitude (unlike another dealer I visited that claimed to be no pressure...still getting phone calls/e-mails from them). I was very Happy when I left Bayside Chevrolet in March after purchasing a 2012 Chevy Cruze. The car had to be brought over from New Jersey in order for me to get the exact car that I wanted so Grant and Jamie made that happen for me. I actually started out at another local Chevy dealer because my fiance's mother works there but she was unable to get me the car I wanted/needed since I had recently totaled my previous vehicle. My fiance's mother is still mad at me for going to another dealership but I really had no choice. I needed to feel that I was making one of the biggest purchases so far as a young adult but I didn't feel special at all or feel like I was even a customer. I just felt like since I date her son that I wasn't as important and I also felt like I was put on the back burner. But then Grant and Jamie really made me feel that I was top priority and all that mattered was that I got what I wanted and walked away happy. Buying a new car is a very stressful yet exciting thing to do. It is very nerve racking b/c you think... "How can I afford this?" But I had a set amount I could afford as a payment each month and they sat and worked with me for over an hour until I had a smile on my face again and got out of panic mode. The store actually closed over a half hour before we finished the paperwork and I DID NOT feel rushed at all. They made me very very happy and I would recommend them to any and all my friends, family, co-workers, acquaintances.... well anybody really. Grant even threw in a free tank of gas just to put the cherry on top! And I must say that when I have gone to dealerships in the past, I feel bombarded and the sales people jump at you so quick that all u want to do is turn around and leave. But for the 1st time I actually walked around the dealerships car lot and got a chance to really look around before someone came hurling towards me. It was just an all and all GREAT experience and I will continue to go to Bayside for any maintenance needed on the car or anything else. Grant and Jamie deserve a raise because they have wonderful customer service skills and should be awarded for them. Not many good dealers get the praise that they deserve so whoever reads this, I hope you do something extra special for them.

I really enjoyed working with Jamie Walton. I'm a busy person and she helped make my used car buying experienced easier. After listening to what I was looking for in a car she did the leg work, emailed me multiple links, had a car transferred the very next day, and checked in with me regularly without . She was also available by text got quick questions answered efficiently. Jim gave me a descent price on my trade and the negotiating process was fair and open. After purchasing the used car, Bayside agreed to repair a area on the bumper at no extra cost. Tabitha helped me get scheduled for the repair right away. Bayside provided a rental car at no cost to me. I was disappointed that I had to go back to get the paint job re-done a second time. Although an inconvenience, it was fairly painless and Tabitha made sure the job was done right the second time with no hassle. I would recommend Bayside to friends and family.

Our review says great because of the exceptional service that we received at Bayside Chevrolet. First, Tom met us in the parking lot to inquire how he could help in our search of a new car, although we clearly explained to him that we were merely looking. He was informative, helpful, and NOT pushy. After he answered our questions he led us into speak with Grant about few more questions we had. Grant then picked up where Tom left off. Needless to say we ended up with Nancy filling out all of our paperwork and explaining the process of what we need to do when we arrive for service, repairs, or drop off after hours. And explained the working devices of the car front to back. Nancy did a great job and was very friendly and helpful, as most dealerships do not take that much time to inform you about the little things that cause a lot of stress. Then Trevor in financing was next, and he was great. He explained everything to us and helped through the whole process explained extended warranties, paint protection and everything you could think of. We were there past hours to finish things up and no one ever complained, hurried us, or made us feel rushed. They were happy to serve and it was a wonderful change from the standard experience. Kudos to Bayside of Prince Fredrick!!

Good experience, very smooth; my only small comment was regarding the buying options as it related to purchasing the additional 7/yr 100K mile warranty. I understand that this additional cost is where your dealership makes profit, but did not appreciate the continued push for me to purchase it after I said no thank you several times. Otherwise, very good experience. Excellent online service from Harry.

Eric Thompson was helpful, patient, thorough and did not follow us around like a shadow. This gave my hubby and me time to look at different models and make comfortable decisions. He originally responded to my on-line request for pricing and availability, and did follow-ups, even when I did not answer him. He kept comfortably emailing me and I felt he meant what he was attempting to sell to me, so I looked him up at the dealership when we arrived. Glad I did. Not the usual "car salesman". Big age difference, but certainly felt no age differences. He is a real "keeper." The Manager and the Financial Manager were very friendly and helpful. Some pressure over the "extended warranty", but I feel we all reached a mutual agreement.Love the car...it is what I expected and what I wanted.

I choose the vehicle I wanted online. I contacted Mr. Thompson via email and he promptly responded. I was offered a fair price that I accepted, and came in for a test drive. The vehicle was everything that I was looking for and more. However, there was a bump in the road when it came to financing. Mr. Bollhurst succeeded in getting us a great deal. I am very pleased with every aspect of my car buying experience with Bayside Chevrolet.

This is the third negative review for Bayside Chevrolet THREE STRIKES - AND YOUR OUT!!! <br>I only wish that I knew about this web site before I visited Bayside Chevrolet in Prince Frederick, Maryland. Unfortunately for me, I followed the wrong advice provided to me by the GM Roadside Assistant and brought my Chevrolet S-10 pickup truck to Bayside Chevrolet for service.<br>The Bayside service center found that my S-10 pickup truck had a defective rear axle seal and pinion seal with the rear end differential. The seals were found to be defective however, in the course of repair - Bayside had replaced several parts which did not require replacement. This amounted to over $700.00 in unnecessary parts and as if this wasnt enough, Bayside also overcharged me on the labor and the remaining parts needed to make the repair. Since I had rented a rental car with Bayside during the repair work, Bayside also managed to swindle an additional two more days of rental car money out of me while waiting on one of the unnecessary parts to arrive.<br>As stated on Bayside Chevrolets web page - Baysides goal is to make every customer completely satisfied. Bayside has a funny way of achieving this goal. After Baysides service consultant (Mr. Tony Reese) had informed me that my truck was no longer covered under warranty and I had inquired about the possibility of a 50/50 where GM may assist with the repair cost if Bayside is willing to assist me (since I only had 50041 miles on the truck and the failure of the seals are most likely a manufacture defect). Mr. Reese replied No as far as Im concern, you didnt purchase your truck from us, nor did you have your maintenance performed by us I consider this emergency roadside service and I am going to take you for what I can get.<br>I had filed a complaint with the GM Customer Service department and with my credit card company about this repair and the statement made by Mr. Reese. An investigation was conducted with two other GM Dealers - Service Center managers substantiating the fact that the parts were not needed (original parts are still good) and I was overcharged for parts and labor. Unfortunately the GM Customer Service representative and my credit card company could not assist me since Bayside was unwilling to issue credit and resolve this issue. Thus Bayside failed to obtain their goal to make every customer completely satisfied with me.<br>I can only hope that my review will be helpful with someone else considering a major service repair at Bayside Chevrolet and that my experiences are not repeated again.

What a dealer is legally entitled to do is sometimes very different from what a dealer should do. The dealer may have the "right" to make charges for services rendered, but "right" is not always the best strategy for dealing with a client and maintaining a happy buyer.<br><br>In the past, I have been a loyal Chevy user. I was even going to trade up my S10 for a larger Chevy truck this summer. However, due to a recent incident at Bayside Motors in Prince Frederick, Maryland, I am no longer going to purchase GM vehicles, in spite of the fact that I had purchased my last two GM vehicles from this dealer.<br><br>On 4/19/04, while driving to the Calverton School (a private, college preparatory school here in Southern Maryland) where I work, my "Service Engine Soon" light went on. After the school day, the light still on, I went to Bayside Chevrolet to arrange for service.<br><br>To their credit, the service technician told me that they could work on my car that afternoon, if I'd be willing to wait. This, I did so gladly.<br><br>Shortly thereafter I was informed that I only had a loose gas tank cap; there was no other problem. I was again glad, but that happiness was soon thwarted when I was then handed a bill for $85.50. This bill included $75.00 for labor for tightening the gas cap and an additional $3.00 for "hazardous waste," and an additional $7.50 for "shop supplies."<br><br>That Bayside Chevrolet has the legal right to charge for these services I cannot deny. However, I wonder about the wisdom of having a dissatisfied customer tell all his colleagues at work--as well as all the parents of the students at his school whom he can reach--and tell them that Bayside Chevrolet charged $85.50 for the tightening of a gas tank cap. <br><br>Too often, the conception of many people is that authorized dealers simply "rip you off" whenever they can. Perhaps this perception is grounded in truth.<br><br>Yes, what a dealer is legally entitled to do is sometimes very different from what a dealer should do. Positive word-of-mouth, and maintining a happy customer, and being a "friendly dealership" can be worth far more than to a company than what I was charged. Regretably, Bayside Chevrolet chose the $85.50

I have a 2001 Impala base model that really didn't need service, but had an annoying problem of the check engine light being on. So I took it in to the dealer (after repeated clearing of a 01414 code). Maybe because I am 16, but I never heard of charging for a check engine light! That was $85 bucks. After that they determined that it needed to be reprogrammed $35 + $150 for labor :<. On top of all that I had a low coolant light which I know I just filled it a month ago. Pressure treatment $35. So they found the problem a bad cap!, $14. A GRAND TOTAL OF ......... $200. They cut me a break after speaking to my dad and reasoning, but for a little job that took little effort they sure drained the wallet. I suggest unless it is serious do it yourself and make sure you can bargain or they will take of advantage of you! The nicest person you will meet is the woman at the register, who will take your money with a smile and a thankyou.
