Scott Lovellette was knowledgeable, courteous and efficient throughout my purchase. He let me take the car for a test drive, gave details of the Madza CX-5 and negotiated a price. When the wired funds were late they provided me with a dealer plate so that I could get home. Above and beyond, they have my trust!! Be sure to check them out!

Awesome experience. The staff on hand was great not pushy and very kind and friendly. All of the salesmen were great people John was the one that took care of us. Jim was also willing to work on the price to get us into a new car just the way we wanted it. I will buy all Mazdas in the future from Jim and his crew.

Orrin Powell did a wonderful job of helping me purchase a new CX-5. He was patient and I never felt pressured. Jim (the owner) gave us a great deal on our trade-in, and spent time explaining different purchasing vs. leasing options. The new car was very fairly priced as well. Bought a new car here this week. Awesome customer service. They went above and beyond to complete the process despite a couple of hang ups (not on their end.) Entire staff is super friendly and make you feel so comfortable. No pressure! Willing to help but not so aggressive that it turns you away. Thank you all for your help in completing this purchase. I'm so happy! Keep looking out in the garage and thinking, wow, this is mine. Would never hesitate to go back to your dealership.

Orrin is a relatively new salesman, but he did a great job, and I liked him a lot. Very patient walking me through options and putting up with my changing suggestions. He feels like a straight shooter, and has a good sense of humor. We spent several hours together, and I'm extremely happy with the car I finally decided on.

Seeing a used vehicle that I was interested in, I contacted Jim S. (the owner) to discuss details before driving nearly 2 hours for a test drive. Jim S. and I worked out pricing and features over the phone. I drove out for the test drive, paid a deposit and we signed the paperwork. Jim had the features I wanted installed in the car the following week and I took the bus to Pittsfield to pick it up when it was ready. Jim picked me up at the bus depot and handled all the registry details prior to my arrival. Easiest buying experience ever!

This was hands down the best car buying experience I have ever had. Jim made everything about the process easy and completely stress free. He is the most upfront and honest salesperson (let alone car dealer) I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with. He immediately made me feel comfortable and at ease, liked I've known him for years, not minutes, that's how genuine he is. He knew what I wanted, what my budget was, and he worked it hard and fast to make it happen. On top of that, every single one of his crew I encountered was super nice and they were all absolutely fantastic with my kids. I'm now the 4th member of my family to buy a car from Jim and I will be recommending him and his crew to anyone and everyone I can. I know that the next time I'm in the market for a new or used vehicle, I'm going straight to Jim, period!

As an older single woman, I was nervous about shopping for a car by myself. I dragged my cousin along for support, & we were immediately greeted by Orrin & put at ease. Orrin went out of his way to find what I wanted & was very patient throughout the whole process. Scott joined us later to finish off the paperwork & help me drive off the lot that same day with my beautiful new car. While we waited for the insurance company to do their part, Orrin & Scott kept us entertained. It was a totally pleasant experience, & I will definitely return there for my next car!

Jim Salvie made the car buying process completely painless. I walked in first thing on a Monday morning, and after a test drive had made my decision about an hour later. He even waited a few hours to see if there would be any new rebates since we were at the end of the month. There was no pressure at all and no haggling needed. We spoke about my situation and what I was looking for and he gave me a fair price. If you're looking for a car in Pittsfield or Berkshire County, do yourself a favor and stop in his dealership.

During the two visits to try the CX-5 and another one to decide what features we wanted, Scott was as pleasant and helpful during all three visits. He answered all our questions and never pressured us into making a decision. Once we finally did, Scott had to locate the model and color that we wanted. He had it back in Pittsfield within a couple of days. Scott made the final phase of processing the paperwork as stress-free and hassle-free as anyone would want when buying a car. A week after picking up our CX-5, Scott called to see how we liked the car and if there were any issues or questions. All these events made buying a car from Berkshire Mazda an overall enjoyable car buying experience.

I had found a car that I liked on cars.com at Berkshire Mazda. I hate purchasing cars and having to go through the car dealership process with things like "let me check with my manager". Berkshire Mazda was about an hour and a half from my house and I was worried about driving all that way to be aggravated and going home empty handed. But that was far from the case. I contacted James Salvie at the dealership to get more information about the car I wanted before driving up there. James was great to deal with and very helpful. We both agreed to not waste each others time and if I drove up there and liked the car and was offered a fair price on my trade-in that we would do the deal. I was able to even negotiate on the price prior to driving up. The car was exactly as described. Everyone at the dealership was nice and Jim was easy to talk to and deal with. I was offered a fair price on my trade in and we had the paperwork done in no time and I was in my new car. There were no hidden fees, last minute financing issues, everything went just as Jim had promised on the phone. Next time I am in the market for a car I will definitely be going to Berkshire Mazda first, even with it being so far away.

Berkshire Mazda deserves a 10 star rating!!! Jim Salvie (owner) handled the entire transaction personally! Best customer service. No games played here - fair and upfront from beginning to end. Jim gave me top dollar for my trade-in. He definitely goes the extra mile. Even getting the exact car I wanted from another dealership. My entire experience was great, non-stressful and enjoyable! I would definitely purchase all future Mazdas from Berkshire Mazda!

This place understands the meaning of customer service! I am so happy I made the decision to drive the 60+ miles to Berkshire Mazda. Jim made buying a new car an enjoyable and exciting experience - as it should be! He was super easy to deal with and went above and beyond by taking time to talk through my options without giving the typical sales pitch, sending someone 1 1/2 hours to bring me paperwork that needed my signature, and even opening up on Sunday so I could pick up my Mazda CX-5 without missing work. This is definitely my go to spot for all future Mazda purchases!

I drove out from Amherst to check out a car I had seen online. From start to finish I was treated like I was a customer and that my business mattered! I got great service, a fair trade in value and a really competitive bottom-line price and I bought the car on the spot! To save me a second trip from Amherst, Jim and his team turned the entire buying experience into a real pleasure and I went home two hours later in my new car! I generally hate dealing with sales people at dealers but this was really different. I feel like I made a new friend. Jim Salvie is great and I highly recommend Berkshire Mazda!

We've bought a lot of cars in our time -- most of our experiences have been, thankfully, pleasant. Our experience with Jim S at Berkshire Mazda in Pittsfield, however, was no exception. In fact, he's up there with our other favorite dealership in Allentown, PA. Jim was pretty frank about which options are worth putting on what models, pulled out 4 demo vehicles for us to try one after the other, worked hard to earn our trust and business, and made the entire experience as smooth as can be. We had a great experience with Berkshire Mazda. It's unlike any dealership I've ever dealt with in the past. Jim the owner greeted us and was genuine and trusting from the start. There was no pressure just a relaxed atmosphere where we could actually look at the cars without feeling rushed. We had another style car we wanted to drive before committing to the Mazda we liked and Jim was great about us leaving to test drive one more car. Five minutes at the other dealership and I looked at my boyfriend and said I'm ready to go back to Berkshire Mazda. I knew I wanted to work with Jim right from the beginning and they didn't disappoint. They made buying a car pain free and easy. He's there for his customers and worked hard to get us the best rate for financing. We highly reccomend working with them!

After searching for weeks and having a very unpleasant experience at a bigger local dealership, we came to check out a used Honda Odyssey that was being offered for a great price. I hate dealership games and mistrust car salesmen in general. I was particularly sensitive after our weeks of unsuccessful searching. We were met with a very relaxed and "not pushy" environment at Berkshire Mazda. Scott made us feel very comfortable and there was no pressure at all. His friendly service and their willingness to work with us to help us stay in our budget was as much a selling point as the great vehicle. We felt, as opposed to at bigger dealerships, that our business mattered and that we were valued customers. We would do business here again in a heartbeat and will recommend Berkshire Mazda to our friends.

Our family has Purchased 9 cars from Berkshire Mazda over the last 8 years our salesperson Scott Lovellette has always been super easy to deal with. The whole staff is very knowledgeable and great people, always caring for our needs and never "pushy". We have leased new Mazda's and purchased pre-owned car's and SUV's and the process is always easy and "STRESS FREE", how many times do you here that about a car dealer? I found what I was looking for online. Traveled 2 hours to test drive the car. The owner of Bershire Mazda, Jim Salve, was very nice and easy to deal with. We liked what we saw and came back 1 week later and picked up our car. The car looks brand new. The car was registered and all ready to go. I would buy another car from him anytime and highly recommend this dealership.

I purchased my Mazda CX7 from Berkshire Mazda a few years ago and have been happy with them. I heard about the new 2013 Mazda CX5 and after trying one there fell in love. Nick in sales is always attentive and truly professional. I knew exactly the color and options I wanted and he got me exactly what I wanted and really worked with me to get to a payment I can afford. The other guys there are awesome too and always friendly and helpful.

From the moment arrived to look at new cars, I was approached politely and in no way "pushed." Initially, the salesman (Nick Shallies) asked what I was looking for and honestly responded that he had nothing that could fit my specs. When he asked if anything on the lot looked good to me, knowing that I preferred coupes with manual transmissions, I told him that I would consider a 4 door if it didn't look stodgy. Long story short; A test drive got my attention and his sharp pencil got my committment. All of this occurred after a day of inadequate attention at major dealers. Before and after the sale has been seamless. Very professional from start to finish in terms of the sales and delivery process.

Berkshire Mazda is a small dealership with probably less than 10 employees. They are the opposite of those mega-dealerships with hundreds of cars on the lot. After getting quotes from many of the area dealers through cars.com, Berkshire gave me the best deal right from the start. Their staff is laid back and was thorough in the entire purchase process. If you are looking for a specific Mazda, check them out. Being in a less populated area, and being surrounded by all of the other car maker dealerships, you might find just what you are looking for.
