What a great experience! This was my first BMW, and I'm still in disbelief. Every time I hit the unlock, before I even get into the drivers seat, I have to smile. Ryan was the gentleman I had the pleasure of working with, and I remember how great he was when my Mom bought her last X5. I wouldn't have dealt with anybody else. I had been searching for a used Grand Cherokee SRT. I searched across the country and one was listed at BMW of Minnetonka. The price was the best I had seen for vehicles with comparable mileage. The dealer was willing to come down a little further from the listed price. I was traveling through the state, visited the dealer, and worked with John "Sully" Sullivan (the salesman). He was courteous and helpful. The car was in good condition and we were quickly able to complete the purchase. I wouldn't hesitate to consider purchasing another vehicle there in the future.

We had a wonderful experience and James Moosaie was easy to work with, professional, and knowledgable, We felt like valued customers and at the same time his down to earth personality made us feel comfortable asking questions, test driving, and paying for the car. Just bought a CPO from Sully and he was a fair and good sales person.The dealership helped to make the purchase go as smooth as possible and made the deal very above board. When I finished, I didn't feel like they took advantage of me at all.Sully was very up front with every aspect of the process.I'd highly recommend his if you don't have anyone sales person at BMW of Minnetonka.

Amy sold me my first BMW in 2014 and we've stayed in touch since then. When I decided to try and make my car a boat during a major rain storm in September 2016, she was there again to get me into car after mine was totaled. I asked her numerous times for lease number, finance numbers, etc. She always came through! To me, that's service! But, when I ran into the 2012 550i that I loved, my insurance hadn't completed the process so that I could move into another car She held that car for an extended period, turning away others, so that I could get it. That was probably the biggest piece of service I've ever experienced...ever. It may have been a problem to the sales guys, but she knew how much I loved this car! Now every time I get in it, I take a moment to appreciate the blessing of my relationship with Amy, her sacrifices and her exemplary client service!

We have been a BMW family for a very long time and knew what we were looking to buy but feel we were very lucky to come across Christian Even as our salesperson. Christian is a very friendly young man with impeccable manners and knowledge of BMWs. He spent several hours with us the day we purchased the car and then again the day we went back to pick it up. After dealing with 4 or 5 dealers to trade in my car for a 4WD car for the winter I did my due dilligence at stopped in at BMW Minnetonka. INtroduced to Christian Even of their sales group he showed me a half a dozen 2 year old cars in very good condition. When we found the perfect car-color, miles - features I was hooked. The price was a little more that I anticipated spending, but it was a very nice BMW.Suffice it to say they were willing to make a deal and make it happen. I have driven it daily and really cannot remember being as happy with any previous car purchase.The Buying process was excellent!I would recommend them without reservation.

Ryan Leach was our contact for internet sales, he did a terrific job! The vehicle was washed and ready for a test drive. He took all the time needed to make my wife comfortable with all the vehicle controls. He took us on a course that included interstate driving and curvy back roads! Ryan took time to go over all of the maintenance records, maintenance program, and warranty on the vehicle. We were totally satisfied and purchased the car! They made the sales process fast and easy. I contacted the dealership via a request from Cars.com about a used car. I was informed that the car (a sports car) had been sitting on the lot for 90 days and that, with the weather changing to fall, they did not have much room to negotiate price. While I appreciate the straightforward reply, the facts presented did not justify the response; a sports car sitting on the lot for 90 days in the middle of the summer doesn't make any sense (unless something is wrong with it) and a dealership should be in a hurry to move a sports car off the lot before winter. I understand that 90 days' worth of holding costs can't be cheap, but that's not my problem either--the car is worth what it's worth. The internet salesperson was quite friendly, I just thought the whole situation smelled bad so I walked away.

This was my second new BMW lease through Steve Rydberg and BMW of Minnetonka. As a younger customer, I got accustomed to being treated like an adolescent by salespeople at other dealerships around the Twin Cities. But from the moment I walked into the BMW of Minnetonka for the first time four years ago, Steve Rydberg and the staff treated me like any other customer, which was a really refreshing experience. That went a long way for me.This time around, Steve worked with me to build and price out the exact 3 Series sport wagon I wanted and ordered it from the factory. He kept me up to date on every step of the process, from my car entering the assembly process to its arrival in the U.S. and at the dealership, and made sure the transition from my previous lease into my new one was a smooth and seamless experience. Delivery was just as smooth -- the car was beautifully detailed and ready on time, and working through the finance/lease process with Kyle Gustafson was a breeze. World class BMW dealer! I flew in to MN from out of state to buy a used car from Amy, who was beyond helpful throughout the entire process. I requested some warranty work be performed as a prerequisite to me buying the BMW. While the repairs were performed, Amy gave me a loaner BMW to use even though I had not yet bought anything from the dealership. Overall, Amy, the dealership, financing, and service department all went out of their way to make the sale happen in the best way possible.

Husband went in to browse and was greeted by Evan Hopkins as he wandered around the showroom. They struck up a conversation regarding what he wanted to purchase. Evan answered all his questions and more regarding the type of series and what each had to offer. Through this a decision was made to purchase. Cannot recall the name of the young lady who help in getting the right temporary tag length of time before expiration for the vehicle as this was an out of state purchase. This help to complete the vacation before returning home and not having to worry about an expired temporary tag. One of the small things that made the day.

I have been a customer of BMW Minnetonka for the last 15 years (even at SEARS prior to the move). Over the years I have had only one client advisor, Matt Liebig. Matt has become "my guy" when come to leasing BMW. He listens to my wants and needs when looking for a new car/SUV and at the end of the transaction I never had buyers remorse or pressured to make a deal. Whenever someone asks me about purchasing or leasing a BMW I tell them you need to see "my guy" at BMW Minnetonka. When comes to the dealership, you can't find anything like it....its BIG....and most cars are inside, which makes finding a car in the cold, rain, sleet or snow a pleasure. It also has tons of amenities, like a theater to watch your favorite movie or TV show while your car is service. Oh, and when you do service your vehicle at BMW Minnetonka they offer new BMW service loaners. Be careful, those service loaners will get you hooked on features and styling that you don't have in your car today. It makes it hard to give the car back. Remember when people used to say "Don't go to the dealer for repairs because they overcharge and are only in it for the dollar? In several times of going to this dealer for repairs, shopping and parts, none of this has stood true. I used to shop around for better pricing but no longer do as prices quoted/paid are either in line or better than those of other shops. In addition the service people's attention to detail and customer service are second to none. Impressive is an understatement - to the point where I almost want something to break on my car so I can go back! Love this dealer, there is a reason why they are top rated... several reasons actually. Shout out to the Blue team! Tim Simmon is a true professional and it has been a joy to speak with him.

As a new first time buyer, he didn't try to sell me loads of options I wouldn't need. He is very low pressure which I liked. We stopped at BMW of Minnetonka to look for a new SUV for my wife in March. We met Christian Even at the dealership and he guided us to the right vehicle and she couldn't be happier. The lease on my Audi recently ended and because of Christian we put BMW on the list. (I've been an Audi driver for 9 years and have been very happy). I saw a BMW i like on the dealer website. I reached out using chat and the lady said someone from sales would be contacting me. Ryan Leach reached out to me about my inquiry. He answered all my questions. He also provided me the service history, build sheet, carfax report and other information about the car. After I saw the reports I made my call to Ryan. He is very friendly and does work with you. Once we agreed on the price and date i can come to pick it up, he sent me follow up email on whether I am planning to finance or pay myself. He keeps me updated and follow up till the day came and i finally flew to Minnesota to get my car. He is very friendly guy and very helpful. The dealership is big one but i think it needs more improvement. I am from Seattle so when i compare them to the dealers here their infrastructure is big but needs little work on their service staff be courteous to people from other state. The only person I will definitely will work with for my next car in future will be Ryan. He stayed all the way till i picked the car and even helped me provide directions to good restaurants near the place.

Was in the market for a newer model 5 series. Was referred to Jeff Swanson to talk to since my previous rep had retired. Jeff went out of his way at short notice to work with me on the models he had available but also mentioned to me I should check out a 750i that he felt was an incredible car and value. After driving the 5, and then the 7, my wife and I both agreed the 7 was definitely the ultimate driving machine for us. Jeff had everything ready to go when we came in to sign the papers. I own a BMW. I live 250 miles from this dealership. I came here to buy a Mazda6 for my wife (was $2K cheaper here than in my area). We instead bought an awesome Toyota Prius for half the price. My wife LOVES it! Our salesperson Amy Mattick was absolutely fantastic. Even though our purchase was considerably less than first expected she treated us like VIP customers buying the completely gorgeous BMW's on the showroom floor. (This showroom is two floors huge, absolutely stunning). The dealerships general manager was very friendly and stayed past closing to ensure our car was prepared to our satisfaction. When you buy a BMW this type of stellar service is expected but sadly in my experience rarely experienced. When I am ready to buy my next Bimm, I will be driving 250 miles to happily buy it here!

The manager of BMW called me to speak about the many issues I had with this dealer and I called him back and left a voicemail but I have yet to hear for him again. That was probably 2 weeks ago. So here are my issues1.We have had long waits most of the times we have come in. We waited at least an hour before we could get help to buy our car.2.The finance guy told us that tabs and license werent due but there werent any license plates on the car so we called and they said they would be ordering new license plates and they should come within 21 days. I called after 2 weeks and they said they still hadnt come in. My husband was then told that the license plates were never ordered. Then we were told that duplicates would be ordered. Then we were told that the license plates were already on the car under the BMW plates and we didnt need to worry about it. Then we received a call that our new license plates arrived at the dealership. They said they would mail them to me and then we did not receive them in the mail for about a week and they are not duplicates they are new plates that they said I needed so Im lucky I didnt get pulled over with bad plates. 3. When we received the paperwork for the new plates we noticed that both our signatures were forged on the paperwork.4. I didnt have my title with me when we purchased the car and I said it would not be very convenient for me to drive it up and can I just mail it and he said no thats not allowed. I called our sales rep later and said Id just rather pay the $20 for a duplicate Title than drive back up. He said its fine for me to mail it so I did and they received it. Then later we were told again that it was not allowed for us to mail it.5. We were told we would receive a check with the $20 refund for the title and we have not received it and its been almost 6 weeks . We were given a girls name Desiree and number and told to just keep bugging her till she pays you. We have called multiple times with no answer. Wow that is great service from a luxury car dealer that their answer is just keep calling and bugging us an eventually we will give you your money back. 6. When the bank approved our loan they noted that my husbands name needed to be listed first. The finance guy didnt see that or something and we put my name first and days later we were called and said we had to drive back in to BMW resign everything with Brians name first. 6.Once we got the car home we noticed it was saying service due Jan 2016. We were a little confused as we bought the car in Feb why any services werent up to date before purchasing the car since its under warranty. We made a service appointment and my husband drove up once again for it to be told that the services were already completed in Sept and BMW just never updated the car to show that. So it was a complete waste of our time. Overall, we would NEVER purchase from this dealer again.

We did not have a very good experience with this dealership. I'm not going to go into listing all the problems we ran into but the main problem is this dealer has major communication issues with its departments. Basically, there is no communication and at every turn it felt like we were being told different things which made the process so incredibly frustrating. We expected a high level of ease and customers service from a luxury brand like BMW but we did not receive that experience.

I drove an IS 250 for years and had always planned on purchasing another one. I actually went Lexus the day before going to BMW to test drive cars and was not impressed with the gentlemen I worked with. He was pushy and gave me incorrect information on vehicles I was looking at - which is really frustrating when you're a single woman purchasing a car. I felt he was just trying to sell me anything vs. really finding me the right car. Contrast that to my experience with Ryan at BMW the next day: Ryan was very knowledgeable, and if there was something he didn't know, rather than bluffing, he was honest and got the info from someone who did know very quickly. He wasn't pushy, and I felt as if he truly wanted to find me the best car to suit my needs vs. just pushing any vehicle on me. I felt really comfortable and well-informed the entire time. Today I feel great about my purchase decision and LOVE my new car!

Our family had a 2013 BMW X5 with a lease ending in February. The team at BMW of Minnetonka was nice to reach out to us initially and then follow-up to ensure that we were fully aware of some of the great year-end incentives available. We had not been looking for a new vehicle yet since there was still time left on our lease, but fortunately Tedd West ran some numbers for us (multiple times) to ensure that we would have an opportunity to move into a 2016 BMW X5 with the same features for a slightly lower monthly lease price after including the various incentives. At that point John Sullivan made sure to get our purchase processed and completed, along with helpful service to provide an orientation on some of the new features (and technology) in the 2016. This was by far the easiest and best car buying experience I have ever had! Tom is so great to work with and his knowledge of cars is outstanding! I recently purchased a BMW X5. I wasn't expecting to purchase this car. I went to the dealership on a whim. I met Ryan Leach, a client representative, who was very pleasant, professional and extremely knowledgeable about the cars, their options and what might be suitable for me and my family. He took me on a test drive of the vehicle -- something I wasn't really wanting to do with him. I prefer to drive it on my own to gather my own perspective, but with Ryan in the car, I actually learned a lot more about the car, its performance and many features I just would never have discovered had he not been along for the ride. When I walked in to the dealership I was considering a Porche Cayene or a Mercedes. He knew a great deal about each of those cars and was able to compare and contrast the X5 to these other vehicles which I found very helpful in solidifying my decision. He was great about letting me bring in my kids to climb in/out of the cars so I could see which car would be best for all of us. In the end, BMW made the vehicle for me and it was available in a few short weeks which allowed me to get exactly what I wanted. The communication and updates on the process were informative but not too long. The trade in on my old vehicle was seamless. The time Ryan took after the purchase to show me how to use the vehicle was invaluable. I drove out of the lot knowing what to do and if I had any questions or issues, I knew i could contact him or the BMW geniuses for any and all questions. They even took car of my license plates so I didn't have to deal with lines and wait time! Really, if you are considering a BMW, I highly recommend Ryan Leach and his team and BMW of Minnetonka.

Just purchased my first ever BMW from BMWoM. This was a great buying experience from my first contact with them! I can't say enough good things about Andre Prasad and his responsiveness to my (many, sometimes stupid) questions. I think we ended up visiting 4 times overall to test everything from the leg room our kids would have in the third row of the X5 to two separate test drives to questions about the technology, etc. Andre was great to deal with and I'd recommend him to anyone. He also played the role of "BMW Genius" when it came time to deliver the car and fully explain all the technology options. Lea Schneider was very helpful in working with many banks to find the best overall rate and explain the different options to include with the purchase. Everyone at the dealership was friendly and accommodating. All in all a great buying experience!

Craig Haggerty was first recommended to me 12 years ago by a business colleague. I went to see him on a very busy Saturday morning. I am a customer who typically goes through vehicles every 1.5 years and have worked with many sales professionals in the car industry. Grant Davis whom I had the absolute pleasure of working with took time to understand the exact vehicle specs and options I was looking for in the price range I wanted to be in. Since the car I was looking for was very specific (manual transmission, tech pkg, sportline, parking assist, cold weather and premium pkg) it did take quite a while to locate the vehicle. During the entire time it took to locate the vehicle Grant informed me on when, where and how much various vehicles across the country might be a fit. I was extremely impressed with his diligence and attention to detail through out the entire process. One of the worst parts I have found about the car buying experience is making sure the car is in top order and there are no issues with the vehicle history especially if you are looking at getting a vehicle sight unseen. Whenever I had a question about a vehicle he went the extra mile to hunt down the answer. It was so refreshing that if he didn't know the answer he wasn't going to blow smoke at me with his best guess but would rather find an individual who knew the exact answer. Once we decided on a vehicle that I was going to purchase it did have some suspension noise that and curb rash on two of the wheels needed addressing. Without hesitation they got me into a loaner and assured me they would remedy the issue in a timely matter. Today I got the vehicle back with no rattles or curb rash and they even put it through another full detail to ensure it was ready to go for the weekend! This attention to detail and no cut corners is what makes car buying a joy and stress free.

I got a call from BMW Financial Services stating that I qualified for a new program. I Called BMW of Minnetonka and talked to my sales associate Kris Kramer; I stopped after work and Kris already had a couple cars selected and ready for my review. I selected a new BMW and picked it up the following day; I spent about 20 minutes doing the paperwork and out the door. This is my third new car from the dealership and I would recommend them to anybody looking for a BMW.

I had a great experience buying a pre-owned car from Mark Garrett at BMW of Minnetonka! I haven't purchased a vehicle in over 12 years and he made me feel very comfortable with the experience. Mark went above and beyond explaining all of the features of the vehicle. The Business Manager, Scott Thompson, was also great to work with. He explored many different warranty options and helped me to find the one that would work best for me. The facility at BMW of Minnetonka is top-notch! From being greeted by the very friendly receptionist, to friendly goodbyes and congratulations as I walked out the door - the whole experience was pleasant and now I have a great vehicle to drive away in. The sales team is very good. Unfortunately the service is not. Incident #1I had my X5 in for service, a recall and a problem with the fuel gauge last week (2/9/15). I was returned the car later in the day saying that the guage was fixed. However it was not and had to again leave the car with them after a week (2/16). It was kept overnight and then returned to me today (2/17). This time the guage worked but as soon as I was out of the service area the Xdrive system stopped working and had to leave it with them again. The car is still with them. Questions that come to mind are -1. Do they even test the car after they fix anything? Obviously not problems occurring after they are "fixed" points to that.2. Did they even change the oil when one goes for an oil change or just reset the computer?3. Did they even do the recall service.I leave the car and never see what they are doing. After this experience am not sure what to expect when I go there for service. Unfortunately both my cars are BMWs and they get serviced here. Maybe time to look into a different service center or a different manufacturer. This problem was finally fixed after the car was there for 1 week and almost all components in the fuel tank system including the fuel tank were replaced.Incident #2Repeat of earlier experience with the X5. Car went in for a front brake service and a AC check up on 8/13/15. I was told that something was not right with the car software and it would need some upgrade later on. I was informed in the afternoon that the car was ready, brakes done and AC checked out fine. I go to pick up the car and the moment I get out of the dealership there is the noise of a motor or fan switching on and off. Take it back to to the dealership and they say something else is broken and keep the car. Second time in a row, when they have taken my car to fix one thing and return it with something else broken. Have no idea, how many weeks it is going to take this time for it to be fixed.

My search for a new car after my previous car was totaled was easy peasy thanks to BMW of Minnetonka. I originally inquired about a used car via online and was reached out to right away. Heather was extremely flexible with my schedule to come in, as I attend a university in southern Minnesota. Heather went out of her way to come in on her day off and let me look over the car and test drive it! I was thoroughly impressed with her, as I assumed I would have been pawned off on someone else in internet sales. Back and forth from my university, BMW kept in contact and worked with me until my payment for my car came through. I came in dealership towards the end of the day I had originally looked at the car and wanted to get my information in. Rob Dahnke expedited the process of gathering my information and putting me into contact with someone in the used sales department as Heather was gone for the day. Andre was very nice and comfortable to speak with as well! He got the rest of my information and put me through to financing. I appreciated him staying until close to work with me.The day I signed for my car, Heather stayed well after her shift should have ended until the financing advisor could see us (after we waited two hours after our original appointment time). Heather chatted with her boss about us having to wait and mentioned that it should not happen as the couple before us had left and returned again, pushing back our appointment. In our two hour wait time, Heather talked with my mother and I, and got us coffee and water as well! We really enjoyed getting to know her. The financing advisor Kyle was very nice, and didn't pressure me to add anything I didn't want to my car. When Heather walked us out to my car, we noticed a new dent that had been acquired while parked in the ramp. Even though she was off the clock, she promised she would call the department to take care of the dent before I leave back to my university tomorrow! I was very pleased otherwise with my purchase. I look forward to working with BMW Minnetonka again in the future!

The finance manager lied to us about the extended warranty coverage and essentially sold us a 4-year extended warranty that as it turns out was only good for 3 years. Thankfully we did some checking and found the true coverage period, and was able to get a full refund from Zurich. The other aspects of the buying process was fine and our salesperson Heather was excellent.

Recently had our 2010 X3 in for some warranty/maintenance issues covered under the vehicle's CPO coverage. After numerous trips and lack of follow-up from the "other" BMW dealer in town, Minnetonka BMW stepped up and took care of us! Not only did they repair the recurring service issues we have been having, they also discovered a couple of additional warranty items and repaired those as well. Our car was in multiple days in order to complete all of the repairs, and not once did we ever have to call for status updates as Jeff Kotnour and Chase Powell kept us informed daily! Awesome communication; again which we Never received while having our vehicle serviced at the other dealer in town. This team has renewed all of the lost faith we had recently experienced in the BMW brand and I can honestly say we will not go anywhere else to have either of our BMW's serviced (2010 X3 & 2013 528). Ryan was very knowledgeable in all the car's functions and very friendly and helpful. I only had one issue with the finance department. First they said I was approve and then when I was ready to pick up the car they called me back and stated I needed a larger down payment, then called back again and said I would need a co-signer. My bank called me the next day and asked me some questions and stated I was approve with no co-signer needed. Extremely frustrating 2 days.

Tom was very knowledgeable about the priodcut line, which was very helpful as it was my first time buying a BMW. I felt Tom wanted to make sure that whatever he showed me matched the critieria I was looking for as opposed to trying to "sell" me on one particular model/car versus another. We also were a bit limited to the amount of time we could spend in one sitting and Tom fully accomodated this by allowing us to leave after we had made our decision to buy and then come back to "finish-up" after he had all of the paperwork completed. This was great timesaver for us.

A close friend who is a loyal customer of BMW of Minnetonka, introduced me to Mark. I knew immediately that Mark would have my best interest in mind. From day one, Mark was upfront and honest. I had the feeling that he genuinely cared about me. He was very knowledgeable and helped me find the perfect car. Mark was not pushy or overbearing like previous dealerships. Mark and the Finance Manager, Kyle, made the final steps quick and painless. This was by far the best experience I have ever had buying a car. I left the dealership confident about my decision and a huge appreciation for Mark. Since my purchase, I cannot stop telling my friends and family about the amazing service I received. Scott Thompson, the Finance Manager, was also excellent. He is good with the numbers and the "bottom line". He made the purchase process very easy. Generally I have walked away from previous purchases with a feeling of unease and doubt. I left this experience with a smile on my face and truly had a great time! Had a great experience at BMW Minnetonka. Staff was A++ all the way through. Jeff Kotnour was my advisor and he did a wonderful job. So were the other staff members that helped me on my visit. I had brought in my 328i for a service engine light. I left the car over night and they gave me a loaner for the evening. I ended up with a 2015 i3. Boy that was fun! The next day Jeff explained to me that they had found several things that needed to fixed and laid them out according to priority. He gave it to me straight and I really appreciated that. I wasn't sure if my warranty would fix the items so I thought it best to leave it there one last night in case the warranty did covers the fixes. I was able to take another loaner for the night 2015 320i this time. Super nice car, not as much fun as the i3 though. The repairs did not end up being covered, but I opted to do them myself. The next night after I had picked up my 328i I popped the hood to have a look at some of the items I'd need to fix. I noticed that all of the covers and debris shields were missing. No doubt still at BMW. I called and left a message. Right away in the morning I had Jeff and another representative from BMW call and text me to help find a solution while I was at work. I explained to them that I was leaving town right after work and that it would be a big inconvenience to drive out to Minnetonka. Especially during rush hour. They came out to my work in Golden Valley in the late morning, had it fixed and filled with fuel by the time lunch rolled around. That's what I call great service! Even though there was that miscommunication between the advisor and the mechanic about replacing the items under my hood they more than made up for it. Definitely will need a return visit.

He and I patiently waited over a year for the right car and when it arrived he called, I drove it and then baught it. I'd also like to complement their maintenance department especially Bob Holm. This is the sixth X5 as well as one X6 that I have bought from Sears/Minnetonka BMW. I have always been treated fairly in sales and have had great experiences in service. Todd Olson knows what options that I like as well as color combinations and actually ordered the car for me without my input since I was replacing a X5M and had to wait longer than I wanted since BMW did not have a M version for awhile. I had told him to order one as soon as they are availble. I later reviewed the options with him and they were 100 % acurate. I have always use both Ed Howard and Todd together as a team once Todd moved up to management and now will be buying through Ed exclusively. I currently have a Z4, 435, X5M and a 750.

Rob helped me through the sales process and Miles Paquette-Falk showed me the great features of the vehicle further after I decided to buy, which helped me hit the ground running with my new BMW. Scott Thompson helped me with the financing, and it was a seamless process. He was very friendly and knowledgeable. Overall a great experience. Not sure I was going to buy a BMW but after the treatment I received at BMW of Minnetonka it made it an easy decision to buy the car of my dreams. Came in intimidated (again, first-timer here), left with a 550i that I love, thanks to Rob, Miles and Scott. Looking forward to working with these guys in the future to keep my BMW experience a positive one, and hopefully become a long-term BMW guy.

What an awful dealership. My ex-wife has a BMW she purchased from this dealership. She had to move to northern Minnesota for her job. She starts having electrical issues with her BMW and calls the dealership. She is told there is no other place to take her car but BMW to get it fixed because its under warranty and they have been having electrical issues with that particular model. No, Beemer dealers up north so she would have to drive to Minnetonka. She asked how long it would take to get the car fixed. She was told two to three days. She then asked if they would give her a loaner car, she was told they only have a few available so she should not count on a loaner car while hers was getting fixed. My ex then states that won't work....She didn't know how she would be able to get her car fixed, she has to work. The gal in the service department tells her "there are some nice hotels in the area she could stay in" Needless to say she is still having electrical issues with the car. My ex, being fed up with the car pays the lease off 3 months early because of the issues with the car which only has 14,000 miles on it by the way. She calls the dealership and tells them she is returning it, the lease is paid. They tell her to make sure she pays the $350.00 fee to clean and wash the car. She laughs and says you have got to be kidding me. After all of the issues I have had with this car? You are getting it back early, the car has given me issues, your service department wouldn't work with me and you still want me to pay the $350.00 fee? They said yes they do. So my ex decided to call the Minnetonka BMW GM Charlie, she explains the situation and he tells her he thinks he can get her out of the $350.00 fee. He said he would call her back the next day. Well, Charlie doesn't call her back...What a shock!! So she calls him back, he then tells her he couldn't do anything about the fee and he is very sarcastic. Tells her he is going to take a beating on the car at auction, all car dealers/automakers charge the fee and he'll be lucky to get the dealerships money back on the car because it was leased. WOW!!! Is that pathetic, who is he kidding, if that was the case BMW wouldn't lease cars. The car is in excellent condition except for the electrical issue and the car is still under warranty. Keep in mind this car only has 14,000 miles on it as well. She told him she would never buy another BMW again especially from that dealership. Then before she got off of the phone with Charlie he has the nerve to tell her to make sure she keeps the car insured until she brings it back. No kidding, what an insulting condescending person to deal with. BTW Charlie, not all car dealers/auto makers charge a fee upon returning a lease. I have leased 6 vehicles in my lifetime, I have never been charged a fee to clean and prep a vehicle from a dealership. I can hardly wait to see what happens when she returns the car to BMW in Minnetonka. I will be with her that's for sure. I'm glad she had the conversation recorded. I wish I could play it for you all. My best advice....Don't do business with Minnetonka BMW!!!

Upon returning my lease 4 months early, gifting the dealership a beautiful 328i with only 14,000 miles on it, they expected me to pay a 350 dollar fee because I'm not buying or leasing another. Charlie, their condescending GM, tries telling me that ALL dealerships and car financial companies change a fee... NO, THEY DO NOT! BMW is the ONLY ONE that does this! He spoke to me like I was pond scum! Beautiful cars, yes... but I'd be desparate to EVER deal with these rude people or company AGAIN!!!

Worked with Ryan Leach. Called the day before and he was waiting for me when I arrived. I test drove two certified BMW vehicles, 750i's. Both drove great, chose the white. Traded two vehicles, prices for trades were right on the mark. What also impressed me was that Ryan let me drive one of the test vehicles to my home where I picked up my other trade. Very nice customer service!! Watched the Wild in their movie theater while waiting for financing which was great! The entire process was half the time it takes at most dealers and I had two trades, which is amazing. Great service by everyone I met from Ryan, to the finance manager, and some of the techs. The only place I will purchase future vehicles is Minnetonka BMW.

I decided to trade-in my 2012 BMW and pick-up a nice, small, reliable, and fuel efficient car since I don't drive much anymore. Aaron Hanson helped me find a Honda Civic that was perfect and quickly took my BMW off my hands in a very quick manner. The car is great and easy on fuel. Gotta love it.

Matt is a true professional; friendly, very responsive, and completely transparent in negotiating the terms of my purchase. This is a very nice dealership, and they treat you well. The owners also own the Audi dealerships in town, so they know how to run a luxury car dealership. The pricing was fair, low pressure, and relatively low amounts of negotiation required. I didn't accept their first offer, and they did a little more "homework" and came back with a better offer. Typical of most car dealers. But, no high pressure tactics here. This is a luxury buying experience all around. They had a large inventory of X5s, so I was able to drive a few different ones to experience the various drive trains and trim levels. Anthony was very accommodating and never lost his patience with me... even though I had lots of questions! I was pleasantly surprised that one of the vehicles I was considering was new on their lot. It was a recent trade. I drove it and liked it. Then it went through their shop for service, and Anthony told me they decided not to sell the car due to some issues they discovered in the shop. Glad to know they really only want to sell a car they can be sure is reliable. Yes, I recommend them and will visit again. If for no other reason... they have an excellent selection.

Found vehicle on internet and drove to location without calling ahead. Was immediately met by Craig Haggerty who was nothing short of amazing. He was very friendly, knowledgeable, polite, and understanding. Craig worked with us on the vehicle we came to look at, and did not attempt to steer us in another direction. My wife and I researched used vehicles we wanted online, and drove 3 hours one way to meet with Dylan about a Traverse. It was the vehicle we wanted, and after talking to him on the phone, he said he will do his best to earn our business. After arriving there, we talked with him for less than an hour, getting the price to where we needed to be. It is an amazing facility, and even though we were not buying a brand new BMW, we were treated that way. Since the purchase, Dylan has not forgotten about his sale...he called me the very next day to see how the trip home was, and if I had any questions. I just closed a deal on a CPO 528xi, 5 days ago. I worked with Anthony Hines. Anthony really went the extra mile to help me identify the car that I ultimately bought, as well as make the process very comfortable for me. I would recommend him to anyone (business manager Kyle also made the process effortless). My wife and I visited BMW of Minnetonka on several occasions over the course of a month or so. As a first time BMW shopper, I needed to drive several different cars in order to decide what was most important to me (e.g., new vs. used, 3-Series size vs. 5-Series size, 4-cylinder vs. 6-cylinder). Anthony was 100% accommodating of my every request - never blinked an eye at anything I asked for. He always responded extremely promptly to my questions (e-mails). Fast forward: I couldn't be happier with the car. Wow - why did I wait so long to seriously consider BMW!!??! I am hopeful that the ownership experience will live up to the shopping and buying experience.

We have never driven a BMW before, so we had no clue about what to expect. We tried the new Lexus NX first, and then BMW X3, and there was absolutely no comparison. Steve explained everything in details, and test driving the car was an amazing experience. He also showed us his inventory of some very nice certified pre-owned cars, and instead of a new car, we ended up with a 2013 X3 at a very good price with only 32,000 miles on it. He also went above and beyond to make sure our buying experience is going smooth and as painless as possible.

I purchased a 2012 X5 from there (in July, '14), took the car to install running boards (Jan, '15) and forgot to leave with my garage opener. When I returned to pick up my garage opener, I ended up leaving with a newer car; traded it in for a newer 2014, X5. Point is, my 2012 was still a great car (still very new to me), but I was sold on trading it in for a newer one because my client advisor was that good to work with. We would not hesitate to buy another car from Sully at BMW of Minnetonka. Our family just bought a used car from BMW of Minnetonka. We worked with Sully and things couldn't have been easier. He felt more like a concierge than a sales person. He had cars lined up, warmed up and ready for us to test drive within 10 minutes. I very much appreciated his helpful (but in no way pushy), knowledgeable and calm demeanor. Sully followed though on everything he said and is trustworthy of my family's business. We are a family on a budget and was initially nervous to go to a BMW dealership looking for a used car. We are very happy with the price of the car we purchased and were given fair compensation for our trade in (not a BMW or in good condition). There were some repairs that needed to be made to the car (dent repair, buffing out of scratches, replace a head light, and a few minor things) we bought. BMW took care of almost all the needed repairs, however it was difficult to coordinate the different "guys" there for the different types of repairs. I would have liked to have it all taken care of in one visit but that was not possible. We brought our kids along because they were on winter break. They were not thrilled after having spent numerous previous weekends sitting in dealership lobbies. This was completely different for them. They loved it at BMW Minnetonka. They have an indoor playset, movie theater, and lots of vintage BMWs on display.

This was my first experience with BMW, and certainly won't be my last. Alex Tamarkin was WONDERFUL to work with. He did a great needs analysis and then talked to me about what my options were. One of the things I most liked about Alex was that during the whole process, he is calm, relaxed, and never makes you feel like he doesn't have time for you. Answered all my questions, let me test drive the vehicle a little longer than just a quick drive so I could really compare the X3 against the Lexus RX350 which I currently owned. I placed the order and Alex's great service didn't stop there. He called in the interim to keep me updated on it's status, and of course it arrived when he said it would. At the pick up time, Alex was extremely patient in explaining everything and even though there were a couple things that he wasn't happy with the way they were working, he made sure it was resolved to both his and my satisfaction. Alex's communication was great, and he always returned an email or phone call promptly. We have already referred another friend to him. I had an excellent experience with BMW of Minnetonka. I worked through the internet and had prompt answers to my questions. We had the deal essentially worked out (including a trade) before driving long distance to the dealership. Everything was as promised - the vehicle was there and ready to test drive (Used 2014 BMW 328i) and I was given a good price for my trade. The huge showroom is outstanding and worth a visit even if you are not in the market for a BMW! I worked with Ryan Leach who was outstanding and clearly very experienced working with customers through the internet. I have bought perhaps a dozen cars through dealerships over the years, and Ryan was easily the best sales person I have worked with.

This was a very easy going car sale for me. Craig Haggerty the salesman was very helpful.the car I bought was Chevy volt hybrid, the car was in great shape , so I decided to buy, but then I noticed the charging cord was missing. so they said they will have one by the next day for me, even if they had to buy one...they actually delivered the car to me the next day with the charging cord.

Bought a 2014 328I xDrive and was able to get the basic deal setup through the internet. Arrived at the dealership after a 6 hour drive to find the vehicle I was interested ready for a test drive, and my trade-in offer increased upon seeing my trade. This is a remarkable dealership in terms of the showroom space, inventory and staff. I worked with Ryan Leach who was responsive to emails, answered all my questions accurately and provided me with the best car buying experience I have ever had. We test drove comparable cars from Audi and Lexus and it wasn't even close! Not only was the BMW far superior in every aspect the service, explanations and customer service was outstanding. The fact that I have bought 5 cars in the past 4 years should speak volumes. The combination of the consummate professional in Alex Tamarin and the great management that allow him to operate so smoothly and with such panache is intoxicating....especially when they sell the best driving car in the world. (IMHO) During the latest purchase of my X5 5.0 Alex crafted the deal and helped me with the little touches that make this my favorite purchase yet. As an example of the little things that matter to me....A few days after purchasing the X5, I dropped the car off to have a Hitch put in it. When I came to pick it up, Alex came down to see if I needed anything else. As we were standing there, he suggested swapping out new black grilles to match the black paint and black wheels. I loved the idea. He asked a service technician Jeff, who I could write another outstanding review on) what it would take.....30 minutes later, The grilles were swapped out and it looked fantastic. Alex came down yet again to see the final product. Wow, what service. I am not proud of the fact that I didn't even consider looking at another branded car or alternate dealership. Thank you Alex and thank you Bruce for giving Alex the environment to flourish.

He answered All of my Questions Truthfully and never tried to Rush me through the Process. He made sure that Everything was taken care of to my satisfaction. I leased a 2014 plug-in electric BMW i3 with a range extending engine from Ryan Leach and Aaron Hanson, who work as a team at BMW of Minnetonka. This is the third plug-in electric vehicle I've owned or leased, so I was skeptical of the expertise and/or enthusiasm for plug-in vehicles that I would find when I first contacted this dealership. Previously my experience with traditional car sales reps has been apathy, or at very least lack of enthusiasm, along with limited knowledge for this new type of vehicle. I was pleasantly surprised to find both the expertise and enthusiasm for the i3 product from these young men. If you are considering being an "early adopter" by getting into an i3, give them a call.

I just purchased my second lease return BMW after having my first be totaled in an accident. The car's safety and performance saved us, which confirmed that we wanted to replace it with another one. Rob Dahnke was our Sales Advisor and he was respectful, listened to us and provided us with several choices. He was a great communicator and followed up on everything he said he would. My wife and I just purchased a 2015 335xi to replace our 2006 330xi. The difference between the two cars is considerable, particularly the additional safety features that have been added by BMW over the last eight years. Beforehand, I didn't think I'd notice much difference, but the improvements in ride, feel, safety, and comfort are noticeable. I particularly appreciated the help provided to us by our sales representative, Amy Mattick. We liked our 2006 BMW so much that we wanted essentially to purchase the same car again. Amy explained what had changed, and how BMW's technology had progressed in recent years. That said, the changes have been considerable, and Amy has been able to answer every question we've posed about how best to create the driving experience that suites us best. BMW of Minnetonka - excellent staff, service (both sales and maintenance), and product.

We had a wonderful experience in purchasing a new BMW car in BMW of Minnetonka last weekend. Andre Prasad was one of the first sales to call me after I submitted online inquires for a luxury car. During the visit, Andre was very friendly and professional. He showed me all the cars that matched my requirements, and told me frankly that there was a big sale event the next day. Then next day, he kept me updated of the latest price of the car I was interested in. After visiting five dealerships, Andre helped us find the most competitive price of the car we want. At the end of the day after his working hours, he still worked hard to introduce the features of our new car so that we would drive the car without any worries. What is particularly helpful is they have price options to accommodate a broad range of personal financial circumstances. We were in the market to replace and upgrade our car but we were not sure of the options we wanted, the model or even the brand. We didn't want someone to sell to us as much as we wanted the opportunity to understand the choices in the market. I did a long-distance purchase (I'm over 500 miles from Minnetonka) of a CPO vehicle that's hard to find, with Amy Mattick as my salesperson. It was easily the best car-buying experience I've had. I was a little nervous buying a car sight-unseen but Amy sent me all the information I requested, practically instantly (she'd return my emails on Sundays even) and the car is perfect. I had been looking for a very specific make and model car for a few months. I had come down to one In Madison, WI or in Minnetonka, MN. I live in Milwaukee, WI, so this seemed to be an easy decision. I wasn't happy with the price or service I had been receiving from the dealership in Madison, so I reached out to the BMW of Minnetonka. It was a done deal from here on out. Ryan Leach was extremely helpful and more than accommodating. We were able to work out a price we were both happy with, on both my trade in and new car. I was so pleased with how helpful and easy everything had been with Ryan, I think I still would have made the 6 hour drive there even if the dealership in Madison matched the offer. Once I arrived at BMW of Minnetonka, I was completely astonished by the size and beauty of this dealership. I truly did not want to leave. The paperwork took little to no time and I was out of there within just a few hours. This was my first purchase from a dealership, and not once did I ever feel intimidated or unsure of what I was doing. Ryan and the rest of the staff at BMW of Minnetonka were beyond helpful and I would definitely be willing to drive all the way back for my next car.

I was shopping for my car from over a 100 miles away, so I was questioning several dealers on specific model used cars that I was researching. From the start I began working with Ryan Leach, who was able to give me direct and informative answers to my questions. This was not the case with many of the other dealers that I was working with, who often would give vague or incomplete answers, leading me to believe (intentional or not) they were withholding information. This also gave me confidence in the service department as responses were prompt and right down to the specs/measurements. After traveling to test drive several vehicles, I was quickly comfortable at the dealership and working with Ryan, they were able work with me on the purchase without the pressure making it feel like I was being pushed into a purchase. I just leased a 2014 528 xi from BMW of Minnetonka. Thanks to Kris Kramer, my experience from start to finish was exceptional. Kris made everything easy. No hard sell. Saturday afternoon my wife and I came to take a look we had found on Cargurus.com and it wasn't even five minutes until Grant came to say Hi. Grant greeted us with a smile and in two minutes we took the car out for a test drive. Grant made the deal quick and easy for my wife and I. I hope this BMW dealership has my next (used) car in their lot.

Rob Dahnke worked with us for 6 months before we found the right car for us. He was never pushy or suggested we do anything other than what was right for us. He is a true professional. I have been a long-time Infiniti owner who recently switched to BMW. I always liked the Japanese car selling model-build very dependable vehicles and treat the customers fairly. I always accepted the latest model when it was time for a new car. This last go-around however I decided to look around just to keep up with the market and tested the waters of German cars along with my"typical" choices. After a walk through of the new cars at BMW Minnetonka, I was greeted by Warren who asked if I had any questions. He never asked about when I was buying, my budget, etc. Rather, he wanted to understand how much I knew about BMW autos. I had to fess up that I knew just about nothing. He spent an enormous amount of time explaining who BMW was as a company, their philosophy and what to expect when owning a BMW. Warren went far beyond what any dealer had ever done- he believed in his product and wanted me to understand why he believed. After a lot of soul searching, I chose a new BMW 528i Xdrive over a new Q70 Infiniti. The car is new, but I believe I made a good decision and I am positive that I could not or would not have made that decision without the guidance of Warren Fritz. Thanks Warren!
