I had been looking for the PERFECT vehicle for about 2 weeks. It was so frustrating! So, I said, I’m just gonna run by Bob Boyte and just look. Ask for Jonathan, he’s the best!! He is amazing and makes the process really smooth. He goes above and beyond for his customers and tries to help you find exactly what you are looking for. This was the easiest dealership I have worked with. Jonathan was efficient but also made sure I got the best deal I could on a brand new car, which is almost unheard of. I always dread buying cars but I needed a minivan for my expanding family. After previously doing a test drive with them and deciding what I wanted, I was literally able to pick the out the car I wanted from their lot online and apply for financing online in 15 minutes. We did negotiations via phone, which also took no time because the price we arrived at quickly was more than fair. I came the next day and and got a tutorial on the car, had all of my user settings programmed, and all finance paperwork done with keys in hand on my hour lunch break! Who has ever bought a car on their lunch break? Thanks to Dan and Bob Boyte Honda, now I have!

We had purchased a new 2015 Honda Odyssey from Bob Boyte Honda, which was a wonderful experience. In addition to that purchase we also added the service plan with the vehicle. The first service went great and our vehicle was returned freshly washed and clean. We had found the vehicle pulled to the left and took the vehicle back in to have that issue fixed. We were told the alignment is fine and that it is the roads that are making the vehicle pull. Our next service all the issues were not fixed and the vehicle was returned dirty. Our last service we had a few more issues with the vehicle that needed to be repaired. While waiting over 3 hours for the service we were told they broke a part and needed to have us return the following day to repair. We returned the following day (saturday) and waited an additional 3+ hour to find they could no longer open the door and would need to keep the vehicle a few more days. We were told all they had to put our family of 5 in was a Civic! we understood and we shoehorned 3 car seats into a Civic, and were told they would have a new SUV or Van on Monday. We never received a call and heard nothing until we called on Thursday. We were suddenly told they had just found a van to put us in and they were in the process of calling us. Well 11 days later we are finally told all the issues have been fixed and our van was ready for pickup. Upon inspecting our van we found they severely damaged the dash board (which was obvious), While trying to open the door they scratched the window tint, our car was not cleaned and our possessions that were in the way of the repair were thrown onto the back floor. As well the issue with the bumper we have been complaining about for months was not fixed. We brought all this up to our service adviser who said the bumper is not broken it just doesn't stay connected to the vehicle for some unknown reason and he hadn't noticed the damage that occurred. We had contacted Mr Bob Boyte and were told the service manager had quite and they are dealing with a high volume of airbag recalls. So I am lead to believe that we should just suck it up and deal with our poor customer service and broken vehicle because the dealership's service department is busy and doesn't have a manager.

Dan Powell was great to deal with over the phone and by email. He gave us a great price on a new Pilot and made it worth the one hour drive to Boyte Honda. I also worked with Milton Pickett when we arrived, he was very nice and knowledgable as well. I only have two complaints. First, when we arrived at the pre-scheduled time, all the managers were in a lengthy meeting and we had to wait much longer than expected to get the buying process started. Second, the finance manager was very pushy with the expensive extended warranties and service plans. When we respectfully declined, he was still pushy and persuasive and seemingly tried to guilt-trip us into purchasing these "products". We also had to wait an extended length of time to sit down with a finance rep (who was very nice and efficient by the way) to sign all the papers.Overall though we had a good experience and got a good deal.

This was the third Honda dealership we had visited, and I learned much more about the features of my car from Milton Pickett than from other dealers. He was patient and knowledgable and easily exceeded the deals we had been offered elsewhere. Back in 2013 I purchased a Honda Accord from Milton Pickett when he worked for another dealership and was very pleased with him and the price, but I always felt guilty for not supporting the local dealership. After a few maintenance trips to the out of town dealership, I finally decided to take my Accord to Bob Boyte for an oil change. The experience was pleasant and quick and I saved gas by not having to drive to the far side of the next county. A month ago my beautiful Accord was hit and totaled. My rental was an SUV, so I started researching the Honda CR-V. I discovered by accident that Milton was working at Bob Boyte so I held to the hope that he would make my next car buying experience an easy, transparent, no-hassle one. He did not disappoint and even sweetened the deal wherever he could to win my business. I'd also like to give a shout out to the very knowledgable Roger Murphy who went with me on my first test drive of the CR-V. I'm looking forward to driving around in my new 2016 Pearl White Honda CR-V EX-L for years to come! Thanks, Ya'll!!

Milton Pickett worked with me getting a Truecar Price on a new 2016 CRV EX. Best price I could get anywhere, then he added a few Extras on top. When the car was ready, he set up the time for me to pick it up and had everything ready. He worked to get me the best trade in price on an old Accord then made sure everything was set up the way I wanted it on my new car. I couldn't ask for a better car buying experience. He even made sure a few special requests were taken care of. I would highly recommend working with Milton.

In 2012 I leased a brand new, off the truck Honda Civic. Within the 1st year it was in and out of the shop 6 times, 6 different rental cars.. 3 times for a trunk leak that mildewed everything in my trunk, and 3 times for a light that came on saying check airbag system, kind of worried me. Regardless, I wanted out of the car because it was obviously a lemon and I could not continue to take off work to get it fixed. They told me to call Honda Corporate, but Honda Corporate said it was up to the dealer if they wanted to trade me out of it or not... They were willing to trade me out of it, but at a higher cost to me.. Finally in December of that year I got a call from my salesman that they were "able" to finally work something out for me and had my exact car on the lot they would just swap out for me (side note, this was only after I wrote a couple other reviews). So I went in being told EVERYTHING about my contract would be the exact same just minus 1 year that I had already driven the other car. Apparently I was an idiot for falling for that one. After signing everything I learned they had dropped the "gas and go" plan I originally paid for on my lease, it cost somewhere between an extra $20-$40 per month, and to make up for it they gave me 4 free oil changes, do the math there! Now 3 years later I am looking to buy the car at the end of the lease and guess what else has changed?! The buyback price is higher.. In our original contract we had to initial the buyback price, but in the new one we did not...wonder why?! Lastly and most importantly, when I traded the car in that I considered a lemon my sales rep told me they weren't even going to try and sell the car they were sending it back to the factory. Well guess what was on the lot and on their website a couple weeks later, MY CAR. And guess what else, all the work they did on it the 6 times in the shop didn't shop up on the CARFAX report, so it looked like a great, clean used car that they were selling at a normal price!! I tried reporting it through carfax because I had all of the maintenance records that weren't listed on the carfax but their website was glitchy and never worked... Some people have great experiences here, so maybe it was just my salesperson and finance guy that took advantage of a first time car buyer... Regardless, I will share my story in hopes to warn people to approach this place cautiously! In my opinion, there are much more reputable Honda places in the Jackson area!

Mr. Picket was truly God sent. He was the best car salesman that I've ever encountered and I will be forever grateful. In the past, car salesmen have ALWAYS made me feel forced to make a purchase. I bought a NEW car that was in a storm and had damage from debris or hail. It was fixed but a really bad job. I couldn't tell at the time but it showing it's self now 6 months later. This did not show on carfax. I was told I had honda roadside but once I call to use it for a jump off I find out they have to sign you up before sale and it costs them money to do so. The contract signed for the purchase by me and the dealer had an exact amount for my payoff ( keep in mind this is written in the contract). I told them a payment had been sent but had not posted to the account on my trade in car. Well they waited several days for the payment to post and sent the lessor amount. Not the amount in the contract so my bank did not refund me the overpayment. Bob boyte just kept that money. I will never go to this place again. I hope this was helpfull

I went to 4-5 dealerships in town and was treated like crap but Bob Boyte salesmen treat you like a person and role out the red carpet(figure of speech). They do not harass you nor are they pushy! Jamie Barnes, Dan Powell, and Allen did an exceptional job. My wife and I got two cars: a 2015 Sport Accord and 2013 Odyssey. The customer service was over the top. I believe that you will be satisfied when you leave by their customer service and the deal you get.

I purchased an '09 Fit and have been extremly proud and pleased with it. I have taken it in for all maint. HOWEVER, I picked up a nail causing a slow leak. This dealership (Bob Boyete Honda) wanted to charge me $ 19.95 to PLUG the tire .... Not pulling it from the car nor breaking it down. I FEEL THIS IS TO THE EXTREME !!!! I love the car and the people but I can't do more business with them.

Wow, what can I say. After searching for a modern steel 2014 Odyssey EX-L in Louisiana (all of South la.) , east Texas (Beaumont and Houston) and Jackson Miss. I landed at Bob Boyte's. First off many of the dealers did not have what I was looking for or the price was way to much...then there was the LIES and Bait and SWITCH at "Honda of Covington" (see their review from zeke 222). After the big fiasco in my home state I got on the internet and found a van at Bob's. I called and talked to Milton Pickett...I told him my story and he asked what was the price I had found...I gave him the number and he called back and said they would match it but would have to charge me an additional $189.50 doc fee. We agreed upon price. I told Milton I was paying cash and would have a check for the amount quoted over the phone. I talked to Milton again on phone and he took my info down to start process. The next business day I called again and told him I was on my way...132 MILES ONE WAY. When we got there the van had been cleaned, matts, mud flaps, tray (pro pac) installed and was FULL of GAS. Paper work was ready to be signed...20 minutes tops. It took Milton longer to go thru the van and show us how everything worked and set up radio stations and Blue tooth for our cell phone etc. than the paper work did. The price EXACTALLY as quoted. In fact 2 days after the sell we got a check (Fed EX) for app. $80 from them (they charged us a tax that out of staters did not have to pay). THEY COULD HAVE KEPT THE MONEY AND WE WOULD NOT HAVE KNOWN. GOOD HONEST FRIENDLY PEOPLE. Was the 260 miles (round trip) worth it?? YES, YES, YES. In fact we told my brother in law about our experience and he told someone else who is in the market for a Honda. GOODNESS How refreshing an honest car dealership. NEXT PURCHASE WILL BE A NO BRAINER. ThankYou "Bob Boyte Honda" and Milton Pickett.

I read some of the negative reviews on this site and have never experienced anything like that, I've had my vehicle in for routine maintenance and the service dept is friendly and very knowledgeable. The moment I walked into the dealership, I was treated like they had known me for years. The heart-warming feeling was genuine. Best and easiest purchase I've ever made on a new vehicle. Dan Powell made the deal I was looking for in a matter of minutes, there was no going back and forth. I did my homework before the purchase and had a figure to work around on a new Pilot-Touring; the good thing is Dan bettered that price without knowing my price - Now That Is A Deal. When I have a question, Dan is a phone call away and is prompt to call back with an answer. I bought a brand new 2013 Honda Accord from this dealership and it's been a terrible experience from the start. Once they had my money I never once heard from my sales man again. Then a month after having the car I started experiencing issues with the transmission. I had about 1,200 miles on the car at this time. From the first time I spoke to the service manager, Terri, my experience went from bad to a nightmare. He was extremely rude. Ashley told me that they had experienced the issue, then denies ever telling me that.Long story short I'll never be buying or even stepping a foot at Bob Boyte again.I don't see them staying open for much longer seeing the way they treat repeat buyers like we WERE....

I purchased a 2012 Honda Civic from Bob Boyte Honda, watched it being unloaded from the trailer it was shipped on. This car has been nothing but trouble from day 1! I have currently been in 6 rental cars, which is a pain for anyone to have to deal with, while my car keeps getting repaired for the SAME THING! My car was at Bob Boyte for the air bag system to be repaired 3 times and now my trunk is leaking for the third time! I have been so frustrated and just want out of this car and into a comparable car, not even asking for something nicer! Basically all the people there can tell me is, I will have to pay more money per month to get in a car the same as mine. They say "that is cutting all the profit out for us" but I know that is a lie and not to mention, you already made money off of me the first time so you should be fixing this problem for me at your cost!!! The General Manager's solution for me is to talk with Honda Corporate, but guess what, they say I have to handle it with the dealership! Basically, these people at Bob Boyte care nothing about you after you purchase your vehicle. My husband and I have successfully turned away several people from shopping with them and CANNOT WAIT for my lease to be out so I will never have to deal with these heartless people again. Guess now I wait for them to tell me once again my car is "fixed" and hope the mildew smell will go away... Nothing like paying top dollar for a car that stays in the shop more than it is at my house!

Have a CRV. The car began to idle and stop at stop lights, etc. So took car to Bob Boyte honda service center two 1/2 weeks ago. AT this time Ashley told us that the technicians said it was a problem with the oxygen valves over $600.00 and two other small things that we did not need to get replaced. So we paid this dealership the money thinking this problem was fixed....well just 2.5 weeks began again. Took it back, now Bob Boyte is saying that it will be over $2300.00 to 'fix" the problem. Ashley was rude. I would not take any car to be serviced my these incompetent techinians and service advisors!

I am GREATLY disappointed in Bob Boyte Honda!!!!!! 2002 CRV was idiling so we took the car to the Bob Boyte Honda service department. Per Ashley Searls it is your oxygen sensor so we paid over $600.00 for this. Well it was out of this shop for only 2 weeks when it began to happen again. So we called Ashley again. Now she called and the service department as well as the technicians have decided that we will need over $2300.00 done that it was not the oxygen sensors!!! Please, do you and your helpers not know what is going on?DO NOT TAKE YOUR HONDA TO BOB BOYTE FOR SERVICE! They are rude and incompetent!
