Needed 1st service on new volvo and although we didn't purchase our Volvo from Bob Byers originally, the dealership is close by. The customer service was friendly, the communications and knowledge thorough and turn-around time was fast. The service team listened to our concerns and made certain to follow up on all that was addressed when picking up the vehicle. My C30 had the message "tire pressure low". I called Bob Byers and asked if there was the possibility to pop by and have it checked out. I will always come back to Bob Byers Ravenna Volvo. I had an amazing experience and can not believe the great customer service i received. My C30 was stalling out and sending error messages that made no sense. When i literally rolled in after being pushed through an intersection only to find the service department closed a half hour earlier. It was the holiday weekend and i was in a panic. Kevin ( i believe his name) a salesman help me trouble shoot the problem and made suggestions for what i should do. He went above the call of duty and job just to help. WHEN, not if I buy my next Volvo it will be from him. I brought my car in the following Tuesday after Labor day and the service department got it in, fixed the problem, reset the computers and i was on my way. Everything was under warranty and i was amazed by the high level of service. NO one on the east side ever treated me this well. I will be a faithful customer of Ravenna Volvo from now on. Just one act of kindness did it all. thank you!

Volvo has a great maintenance program and this dealership has been great with servicing my Volvo. I was able to call a couple of days ahead and secure an appointment and a loaner car. Everything was done within the expected timeframe and I was able to easily pick up my car up from the showroom even after the service center had closed.

I can always rely on Ravenna Volvo to take care of my car. I have a 1995 850 Volvo wagon and they have been servicing it for 20 years. I came in for a routine minimal service, but the technicians found some major problems in their check that could have caused the car to be unsafe. It was a lot at one time, but I had confidence in the diagnosis and recommendations for repair. It's been a great car over the years, but parts do wear out. Another advantage is when a part is needed, Ravenna Volvo has it so repairs can proceed quickly.

Our sunroof wouldn't close (2 year old xc60 with 7000 miles always kept in garage and was the 4th time we used the sunroof). Took it in for a day. Fixed saying the accordian style seal on pass side detached causing the failure. A few months later I opened sunroof & the same accordian seal dropped off into my lap. Second visit they replaced seal with new one under warrantee. Only dealership & is 14 miles away on other side of town; a 40 minute drive one way.

I had been going to Bob Byers Seattle location since 1999. So I was not happy when their Seattle lease was not renewed because I live in Bellevue and did not want to deal with traffic to go to their Ravenna location. However, I decided to make the drive because Bob Byers Volvo has always treated me right. Kevin and Tom did a fantastic job at helping me find the perfect little Passion Red, R-Design Wagon. I wan't initially interested in the R-Design but Kevin took the extra time to sit with me in different models and had an elegant way of relating his experience with my interests; he was friendly and natural. Once I settled on the R-Design, Tom, the sales manager went out of his way to locate the perfect vehicle from port. The best part, Kevin and I were able to text directly over the course of a few days to finalize the deal and secure the vehicle. All I had to do was call their office assistant, Julie, and leave a credit card deposit. Both Tom and Kevin stayed in touch with me while the vehicle was being shipped, sent me a photo when it arrived and had it ready for pick up within a day of delivery. Thank you!

We recently needed fan repair on our older Volvo S40. The fan did not work thus effecting the AC and heat. We called Bob Byers Volvo and the guys took care of us immediately with great customer service. We called on a Monday, were scheduled on a Tuesday morning, and had the car back on Tuesday afternoon. The work was well done, done quickly and very professionally -- with a smile. We recommend these guys very highly!!

I had been having repairs on my 2000 Volvo S80 (and with that model, there are many!!) done at a local well-known foreign car repair shop, because it was my assumption that the dealership would be more expensive.When one of my doors would not open from either the inside or the outside, I received an estimate of $1500 from the repair shop to fix it. On a whim, I checked with the deanship who estimated it would take about $600. In the end the deanship fixed it for less than $300!! AND they provide a loaner car.The service person I dealt with was very helpful and efficient.

The service manager squeezed me in at the last minute for an oil change because we had to travel out of town the following Monday for a funeral. The service advisor who checked me in kept me advised throughout the day, said something more had been found in their inspection, and arranged to have that service completed by the end of the day. I called with just symptoms that my car exhibited, and they gave me a very accurate 'bar park' best case / worse case estimate. They even provided the name of a qualified towing company that took care of my car while I went to work. Nice.Oh, and the low estimate was the actual one in the end. Very happy.

While driving along the Oregon Coast I had a tree fall on my Volvo C30-T5R. The car was a write off. Fortunately I was completely fine! I wanted to get another Volvo C30 and specifically wanted the "R Design". I found a car listed in Seattle at Bob Byers Volvo. This dealership was EXCELLENT to deal with. Professional, provided great guidance in working with my insurance company, and assisted me in dealing with an out of State purchase. I would recommend Bob Byers to anyone! I was having some difficulty with my fob key / keyless entry on my C70 I purchased last summer with an extended warranty. I called Scott (the person responsible for the service managers) and he had me come down for a "look see.") Scott actually took the car himself and thought he might be able to do a quick fix. Ah, too bad he had to order a part. The part came in and the car was fixed, working like a charm! I was both happy and impressed that Scott took it upon himself to try and help me with my problem. He was knowledgeable and keep me informed with what was happening in the process. He also went the extra mile to let me know that this repair would be covered by my extended warrant. Nice work - Scott and Bob Byers Volvo.

My service on Saturday, January 23rd was once again excellent! Originally, I was scheduled for a earlier appointment on Friday, the 22nd, which I could not keep. I called thinking I would not be able to reschedule until the following week... however, Brian answered when I called and very courteously replied with ..."We will do what we can to get you and if tomorrow works for you we can accommodate!" #1 = BIG PLUS, then he even offered to provide with a loaner which made my plans for a very busy Saturday work fantastically! When I arrived on Saturday I was "immediately" welcomed by Scott who took care of my needs for service and ensuring I knew how to turn on the lovely loaner he provided #2 +; then, to add to the exceptional service and attention, I met and had a wonderful conversation with the young gentleman (did not get his name, unfortunately) who was so pleasant and did such a nice job in washing (in the rain) my Volvo and even vacummed the inside which was quite a mess! Many blessing to the three and also I wish to thank the gentleman (Scott - I think) whose mother makes the 'amazing" Snickerdoodle cookies! ;O)

We enjoyed having Kat as our salesperson. We went to my wife's office in Redmond and the return trip to Seattle was during the afternoon commute but we talked and in the end bought the vehicle. Good sales experience.Unfortunately, I had to bring the car in 4 days later because the driver side window would only go up half way. It is fixed but was not a good introduction to a Volvo product. Other than that my wife likes it he XC60.

Regarding customer service, the service center staff were courteous on the telephone in trying to troubleshoot the car's temporary issues and make a service appointment. At the service appointment, staff identified additional maintenance issues and suggested best ways to resolve them. Major factors in my loyalty to the brand are the safety and performance of my Volvo XC70, and I feel that the service center staff support me in assuring that those goals are met. I went to about 7 dealerships in my search for a car and this was the best experience. There aren't a lot of frills (espresso machine, plush waiting area), but the customer service is great. It is a small dealership and you get personal attention. I recommend.

I had such a great sales experience with this dealership that they have definitely earned a loyal customer. From the moment I stepped on the lot I was greeted by Brian and was allowed to browse with no pressure. During my test drives with Tom, he was incredibly knowledgeable and informative of every feature and benefit of the S60 we were driving. He continued to ask the right questions to help me feel comfortable with my upcoming decision. At no point during either of the test drives did I ever feel pressured into making a decision nor was there a hard sell. Tom is amazing about educating someone about the car and letting all the facts of the car and Volvo do the selling. Completing the paperwork happened in a timely fashion and afterwards Brian was really great about taking the time to walk me through every feature and setting of the vehicle and making sure it was set up to my liking. Can't say enough great things about this dealership and they have definitely removed the dread from the car buying process.

I recently moved to Seattle from Colorado. I had a mechanic in Colorado that I trusted to take care of my cherished 95 Volvo 850. Upon searching for a new mechanic as I arrived in Seattle, I "struck out" multiple times on garages that were overcharging, didn't know the car, and didn't seem to care. That was until I made it to Ravenna Volvo. Cost was reasonable, the service was super friendly, fast, and respectful of what I wanted done and how much I could afford at a time. They were very timely in getting back with me, and their schedule was accomodating. I will be coming back.

My car is still under original warranty. I had some problems with the cars fuel intake where it was "burping" occasionally.The car even stalled at a red light. I called and made an appointment and they said to bring it in ASAP. I was impressed with the availability to the service department. They hooked my car up to the computer diagnostic and couldn't find anything wrong. They updated my computer chip and sent me on my way with a clean vacuumed and washed car.Thanks!Dan

My Volvo is a 2002 S60 T5 with almost 100,000 miles on it. I took the car in for service before we left on vacation (about 3,400 miles) through the southwest. It was unusually hot and my car performed great. No problems at all except for a few rock chips. When I took my car back for an oil change, they couldn't have been more considerate. They completely checked it out so I can continue to drive with confidence. No wonder they advertise "a car for life". Thanks Volvo, I had a great time.

They are sometimes slow in responding to email inquiries, but do provide helpful information. Delivery of new vehicle was fast and friendly. Delivered vehicle was not totally clean on the outside, but interior was fine. Explanations of vehicle features was good, but it would have been helpful to have taken a short test drive.

Building a relationship with a service provider can be difficult. In the 26 years of Volvo ownership I have never felt like "just another customer". I've been able to effortlessly build first-name relationships with your service desk people. This helps a lot when the news is bad, and we celebrate together when the news is good. Even some of the service bay personnel recognize me and my car and are friendly and interested.As far as the work itself, I've never had a service job go bad, never had to complain. Since I am facing another big job next week, this history makes it a bit easier to accept. And may I add my great appreciation for Scott Thompson, who, when I call in, answers the phone with "Hi, Pat..." Service like this is hard to find, and I want to say "Thank You" to Scott, and to all the others whose names I have not learned. Thank you.Of course, I wish the repairs did not cost as much. As a retired teacher on a fixed income, I do appreciate the coupon booklet that came just in time for this pending service. Every little bit helps. Friends tell me about this or that alternate service shop, but I am not inclined to risk the security I feel about Bob Byers' service.

My only complaint, and it is a small one, is that the repair persons re-set two of my settings: that headlights come on automatically when I start the car, and that the side rear-view mirrors did not collapse automatically when I locked the car. I remedied the situations easily, after I figured out how to do so. It was great to have a loaner car while mine was being reserviced.

I love my 1999 Volvo V70 AWD station wagon and have tried to take good care of it over the years. I live in a rural area in Washington State on the other side of Puget Sound from Seattle and so even though I bought my car at Ravenna Volvo, most of the service visits have be at a local auto shop. When it became apparent that something seriously wrong had happened to the engine, I realized that I needed to get my car back to Ravenna Volvo where they have the expertise and equipment best suited to diagnosing and fixing the problem. Unfortunately, the only solution turned out to be replacing the engine, since rebuilding it was not an option. From past experience, I trusted the staff to be honest and forthright, and so asked them frankly if replacing the engine would be the wisest move, financially and in terms of safety, and they helped me crunch the numbers. Given the requirements of my job and geographic location, an all-wheel-drive wagon really is necessary, and they went to the trouble of seeking out a replacement used vehicle but could find none in our region that did not cost considerably more than replacing my current car's engine. They then searched out a replacement engine and located one in California - all of this without any guarantee from me that I would end up using their services. In the end I agreed to have Ravenna Volvo replace the engine, however the process was not as smooth as we all hoped; twice after picking up the car from the shop, the "check engine" light began flashing within 5 minutes and we had to return the car to the service department, but each time the staff was gracious, provided us with shuttle service back to the ferry dock in Seattle, and kept us informed of what was found with each new re-evaluation. After a total of 3 weeks, the car finally was put back in perfect working order (they even vacuumed and washed the car!) and to my surprise, I was not charged anything additional for the 2 unexpected returns, since they considered my initial payment to have covered the cost of the engine replacement. As in other aspects of life, uncertainty is very anxiety provoking, but the staff at Ravenna Volvo seems to understand how to ease customers' minds when things do not work out as smoothly as expected. By graciously offering shuttle service, frequent phone updates, and their willingness to re-examine a situation until the problem is fixed, the staff showed their understanding of human nature as well as auto mechanics. In short, the excellent customer service made the experience much less worrisome, and showed me that there is a reason that Ravenna Volvo has such an outstanding reputation - they have earned it!

This is the second XC70 we've purchased from Bob Byers (2003, 2014). Both experiences were very positive. We did shop other dealerships for the second (recent) purchase and Bob Byers was competitive.We like the low pressure collaborative attitude of the Bob Byers staff. We did a lot of on line model shopping for the XC70 and had the exact unit picked out before we contacted dealerships for pricing. There was little need or room for haggling since our vehicle was a factory special order rather than finding something close "on the lot".We had about a 3 month wait from the time of order to vehicle delivery which seems typical for factory orders.Bob Byers staff have been helpful giving us training on the new unit. The electronics are almost overwhelming with a fully loaded vehicle.Our service experience at Bob Byers (previous XC70 and current C30) has always been positive.We definitely recommend prospective buyers consider Bob Byers.

After an incredible experience working with you to replace the transmission that had to be sent back to Europe, I decided I'd return for a general maintenance check. Once again I was dazzled by the level of professionalism and courtesy. Not only were you there at 7:30AM, but my loaner car was ready to go. Imagine my surprise when I received at call just before 10:30AM telling me the car was ready! The timing could not have been more perfect and I was able to swing back by to pick up "Money Penny" on my way back to the office.The only recommendation I have is that the courtesy cleaning team do a little better cleaning the car and wiping off the water so the car doesn't have to be washed again. Of course, this is a courtesy so one shouldn't complain. :)Thank you for such wonderful service!!!

The Service area is a bit weird - not where to stand while waiting - they have counters and desks but not clear where to queue if waiting to speak with someone.Car exterior was splashed with something when picking up. Did not look as if it had been cleaned, although not sure if that was part of plan.One wheel seemed to have been scraped that hadn't been before. Tire had slice in it, which suggests it was scraped against something very high. Since I don't park at curbs, I think the damage was caused by the service area

Both of our Volvos are older (10+ years). Scott the service manager makes it happen! He's on top of the service discounts available to customers and is great at getting us a service loaner. I had my Air Conditioner repaired and they found the issue right away and didn't charge me for services I didn't need. They also did an overall inspection and brought to my attention items that needed to be fixed either now or in the near future. I felt like they provided a realistic time frame for when those future repairs should be done and didn't force me to do them now, but wanted me to be aware of them for budgeting purposes if needed. I had my 2013 Volvo S60 RDesign in for scheduled 20,000 mile maintenance. From the phone call to set up the appointment through picking up the car after completion of the work, everything was absolutely outstanding. Whether dealing with the Service Department on the phone or in person they are always respectful, helpful and professional. The work is always completed on time, explanations of any issue outside the routine is always detailed and I heve never been treated like a number but always as a person and valued customer.I can't imagine taking my Volvo anywhere else. These people are the best from the top down and in all directions! It may sound odd to say I look forward to having my car serviced, but I do. It is always a pleasant, positive experience.

Exceptional service!!! I was scheduling the car for a 3,500 mile oil change service when Steve recommended that I use my 10,000 complimentary service. Steve explained that this was an option for me given that one year had elapsed. I first went to Lake City used cars to look at a 2011 XC-60. Phil Lyons was quite helpful and coordinated our test drive. When I decided to buy new, Phil referred me to JC DeLancy who made the process easy. Dick helped us with the new car orientation, but we need to come back to do a few more things that seemed to be missed in that process. Austin was an awesome pinch hitter supporting the new car orientation process with superior tech assistance.Overall, a great experience and we love the vehicle!

The service representative who helped me was a bit gruff and seemed to think I should already know where the lounge was located (this was my first visit) and what the system was for retrieving my vehicle at the end of service.But all the other people who helped me were extremely kind and polite and helpful and the service performed, and the car wash, were excellent. Next time I come I will remember to bring some cash to tip the car washer, as he was friendly and did a terrific job.

A visit for a routine oil change was rapid. To my delight, the car was cleaned, not only outside but completely inside. A missing book was retrieved from under the seat. Dashboard dust cleaned. They even adjusted the clock to Daylight Savings time. What service!

This is my first service since Volvo moved out of downtown and I was dreading the drive to Ravenna. Scott was friendly and helpful as always, and told me about the shuttle service to and from downtown. While it was in the shop, they checked out a noise which was just a loose bumper piece which they snapped back in place at no charge. The car came back with a car wash, which was a very nice touch. I used the shuttle service and found the driver pleasant, and a careful driver.

I had a catastrophic tire failure (road hazard tear through the sidewall) on my 2013 S 60 R Design. Since the S 60 has no spare, my options were few. After talking with Kevin I called Volvo Roadside and they arranged for my car to be towed to Ravenna Volvo. As luck (?) would have it, Kevin had a couple of the exact tires that are OEM on my car (used, with nearly identical mileage) and called me to give me the option to have one put on my car. Naturally, I was glad to have to replace only one tire rather than 2 or all 4.From my first call (around 200 pm on Tuesday, December 4) through me picking up my car (about 1215 pm on Wednesday, December 5) Kevin was always pleasant, always helpful and thoroughly professional as well as understanding of my needs. On a scale of 10, I would give Kevin a 12 for his attitude, understanding, professionalism and promptness - both in getting my car back to me as soon as possible and for keeping me informed every step of the way.This time I dealt with Kevin but on other instances since 2008 I have dealt with others in the Service Department as well and I must say that each and every one of them has exhibited the same level of customer service as Kevin. I cannot say enough good things about the Service Department at Ravenna Volvo. All my experiences with you have been excellent or better.Thanks again to all who work in the Service Department!

What stands out for me most about dealing with Bob Byers is that I first visited their showroom to see what lease offers they had. While their offer was pretty good, I thought I could do better elsewhere. I didn't make a purchase at the time, but when I returned a week later, they still honored their original offer to me, which, by that time, looked pretty good.

I recently visited Bob Byers Volvo to have my V70XC serviced. A sensor had failed and was causing my "Check Engine" indicator to come on. When I dropped off my car in the morning, I told the Service Rep that I had another appointment later that afternoon and if there was any chance I could have my car back by 2 PM. He said they would try their best. So I was really pleasantly surprised when the Rep called me a mere two hours later to tell me the car was ready to be picked up. This is just one example of the great service that I've received over the years being a customer of Bob Byers Volvo. I would highly recommend Bob Byers Volvo to anyone looking to either buy a Volvo or get their Volvo serviced.

Bob Byers solved a problem my car has had for well over a year (and that had baffled Barrier). I appreciated the shuttle car service and the clear, timely updates on the service folks' progress. It was quite a bill in the end, but there were a lot of things to fix and replace and the fact is, it's always quite a bill. I love our Volvos, but heaven knows they aren't inexpensive to maintain.

I was given a complete explanation of the work that would be done and an estimate of the cost, both at the time a called to make an appointment and when a dropped my car off for service. My car was serviced at a new location, and I was pleasantly surprised to learn that the location offered complimentary shuttle service to and from the dealership.Steve (my service advisor) and all other staff were very friendly, and delivered service with a smile.Overall, this was a very pleasant experience.

I bought my 1998 Volvo in 2000 and still enjoy driving it. The car simply fits me. Originally, we had it serviced at a different dealership and based on a few conflicting reports, I don't think honesty was their policy. That is why I started having the car serviced at Ravenna. The Ravenna service staff has always treated me with utmost respect and explained things to me in a language I could understand. Car service is expensive, but I feel I get my money's worth from Ravenna.When my husband and I decided we needed an all wheel drive vehicle, we considered other makes. By the time we had the options we felt we needed, other cars, while starting out with a lower sticker price, ended up being comparably priced. Again, the sales staff (Dick and Isaac) treated us with the same respect and honesty we get from Ravenna's service staff. And, JC worked his magic to make our loan happen. If I could give an even higher recommendation than all 'greats' I would. I find every aspect of Ravenna Volvo to be stellar.

Although I rated the quality of work a 5 and the price a 5 this is my first visit to Ravenna Volvo and time will tell concerning the Quality of the work. Overall the experience was good but I would like to mention the following:At your facility in downtown Seatlle everytime I brought my vehicl in for service they would was the exterior. I always found this to be a really nice touch on behalf of the dealership. If my car was washed during this service call it is very hard to tell. I drive from Federal Way to bring my parents car in to your service department. My parents live in Elma, Washington and could go to Topping Volvo in Olympia but I have told them that you are a better dealership and service department. I hope that this will continue to be the case when you combine the two service departments. I have used the downtown facility for several years and was not expecting to be scheduled for the Ravenna facility but decided to try you out since your combining anyway. Thank you for your time.

AC auto climate fan control not functioning. AC service was performed which resulted in discovery of significant dust buildup around cabin temp sensor; svc cleaned. We trust the system was tested thereafter. Recommend AC service reminder to customers, particularly in cars 7 years or older (ours is a 2004 XC70).

The service rep at Ravenna Volvo said he would work my service in the day's schedule so I didn't have to travel to Seattle Volvo. The facilities aren't as flashy as the competition, but the lower overhead supports and excellent sales crew and a lower shop rate. I have now done and overseas delivery purchase from Ravenna and a local purchase and both went smoothly.

Bob Byers provides excellent service from the phone call to set-up the appointment to the reliability of the repairs. I always have a sense of an appreciation of the value of my time. There is no wait for dropping off or picking up the car. Any questions are answered completely. I recommend the dealership and service department without reservation.

My experience started with great follow up from an email. All the other dealers I talked to wanted me in the showroom before answering the simplest questions. Dick Krause was different. He responded to my questions in an upbeat honest way. Not once did I feel pressured or like a number. I did a lot of online research and Volvo was in my top three. Although there was another dealer close to me I drove to Ravenna because I knew theses were the type of people I wanted to do business with. I ended up buying the car after about an hour of talking and test driving. Volvo got sexy all if a sudden and it's a xxxx of a buy when you compare similar classes. I also loved that my insurance went down 20% from my BMW. If you want a neighborhood feeling car dealer that takes their time with you and doesn't pressure you playing the "game" go to Bob Byers.

I had a great experience at Bob Byers! Vic and Dick were gentlemen all the way through. Going the extra mile to make the experience an enjoyable one and believe me I have had some terrible car buying experiences before! When I signed docs with JC, the finance guy, he really listened and answered all my questions. I was treated with the upmost respect. He was extremely thorough and explained the process honestly. Everyone was friendly and helpful, including Julie at the front desk. This is a dealership with integrity! That can be hard to find these days!

for $2.00 they fixed one my dvd players that another dealership told me had to be completely replaced. an oil change, new wiper blades all around, a replaced fuse, a replaced tail light bulb, a tightened handle to my booster seat, all for under $100.00, and i can use one of their cars to run around town. no one can beat that deal. this is the 3rd time i have visited in the last year and they always take care of me.

From the moment you dive in, till you pick up your car you are taken care of by professionals. If I need to wait for my car, it is handled, any questions -- they contact you for your answer. If I need a loaner car they will do everything they can to make sure I am taken care of. I never have to worry about if or how it will be done. They handle everything to perfection. We have leased, purchased and now have an older Volvo that is being serviced, I have never had any problems in our dealings with Ravenna Motors in the 35 plus years I have been going to them. They have always exceeded my expectations.

Ravenna Volvo had all our info on file, which made bringing the car in for it's 7500 mile service very good. Price seemed a little high, but quality work. The prices I was quoted to replace the gas cap and replace the battery were very high, so we won't be using Ravenna Volvo for those services (to replace gas cap we were quoted $45, we bought our own gas cap for $10 and put it in ourselves. Will do the same for new battery which was a recommended service). Also I'm not sure what is supposed to be included as far as cleaning, but only the front floor mat areas were vacuumed, the back were not touched. That is my only real complaint, overall happy with the service.

Just picked up a new XC60 off the lot from Ravenna Volvo this weekend, and added the Polestar upgrade. This car is amazing! Ravenna Volvo is great and I bought my last 3 cars from them. Will buy the next one there I'm sure.

I am truly pleased with the service. Particularly with the immediate attention and facile assessment of the issue for which I brought the car in. Please take the following in the spirit I intend; that is constructive criticism and not a peevish outcry. Until now I have brought the car in to the Pike Street site. Last year I had a number of problematic experiences having to do with my right front headlight. after a number of visits and efforts to get it straightened out the lights now work peoperly. What bothered me then was that there were a number of excuses and an odd disinterest in finding the root of the problem - that is the light bulb was not seated properly. Also the business with the rattle complaint which you folks fixed this time around. The Pike Street guys were also not very interested in finding out the what and wherefore of the problem.One quick trip around the block by one of your mechanics immediately identified the problem as a front brake pad that was somehow loose - turned out due to an improperly installed spring in the brake assembly. I am glad that your shop proved to be professionally up to the game. I was beginning to look for another shop to handle the future work on my car. But now I will remain a customer of the Ravenna Bob Byers site. Thanks for your quality and professional work. Best regards Samuel Gerszonowicz

Everyone has been wonderfully courteous,efficient (usually finished before promised time)and friendly. If there are any "surprises" I am immediately contacted so I can decide what to do. The car is always sparkling clean. I have no review title and I have no idea what "nickname" means.

I had a recurring problem with the electrical. Knowing this was the second time I had brought the car in for the same issue, I could tell that the team was extra careful in the diagnostic to ensure the problem wouldn't come back. So far so good!

I needed a car soon, and Phil, and the rest of the fellas, really helped me with the process. They made it simple, and worked with me, to get me the best deal, and at an affordable payment, that I could do. This was the first car, I have ever bought on my own, and I couldn't have been happier, to work with these guys. I would definitely recommend them, if you are in the market for a Volvo. I stopped by the Seattle Volvo on Capitol Hill mid-week during my lunch hour wanting to look at and possibly test drive an XC60. NO pressure from the sales guy, he just wanted to me to test drive the car and have it speak for itself. After a couple of weeks of thinking about it I called the sales guy back and told him that I wanted to make the purchase. after little haggling back and forth we arrived at a price that I felt was fair (invoice). Even during signing the paperwork there was ZERO attempt to upsell us on warranties, under coats, or other protections. We were in and out of the dealership in under 30 minutes.

Scott's done a fine job developing a very qualified team of resonsible professionals. The only recommendation I can think of is to have the car wash use mits, not brushes, on dark-colored vehicles. Having just detailed my car's exterior in the past, it takes one visit to mar the finish. At home, I find a mitt provides the best results but takes a bit more work. Even if you added $5. to each service visit, it would be worth it. Just my suggestion. Other than that, keep up the first-class, red carpet service that defines your reputation. PS: Brian is my guy! 'can do' in every situation.

We have never had to bring the car back and it is always finished on time and at a reasonable cost. We have had three Volvos serviced there and would highly recommend it to others. These guys approach each car as if it were their own. I've always been very happy with the work they do on my car and my experience with them when I go in for routine maintenance or to check out some concern. Little things I just pull in to the car port and go and ask, and get immediate feedback on whether something is or isn't a problem. More than once they've corrected some minor problem on the spot, no charge. They've never done me wrong and always delivered superlative service. I'm staying with Bob Byers Ravenna Volvo until my car falls apart (and it's a Volvo, so that's going to take until 2087 sometime).

Stopped in without an appointment to get a bulb replaced. The bulb was replaced in no time and I was on my way in about ten minutes. Couldn't ask for better service. Nice people. I've been dealing with Ravenna Motors since 1976 and am never disappointed.

While Steve was my service contact, when you walk into the office, all eyes look up to make sure you are taken care of. There is never a wait! The atmosphere is professional yet still warm and enjoyable. I was given an estimate and the final bill was very close to the final charges. My car is 11 years old and runs today as well as it did when I first bought it. I am a senior citizen that has to watch my finances very closely. For as long as I have had my car I have taken it to Ravenna Volvo and NEVER had a problem with my car in between service visits. On the other hand, I never feel pressure to do more than is necessary which leads to trust in what they recommend. The report I get with my invoice is easy for me to follow and I use it next time I take it in.I have recommended this dealer to all my friends that own a Volvo. A seat belt had failed, the warning flashed up on the readout for repair, another day or so the Instrument cluster was failing, unrelated insistent, made an appointment with service and they fixed the problems as if they didn't happen, Great job Bob Byers team know what to do, and how to do it.

Bought a certified S80 from their used car lot. Had a couple of problems, but they dealt with them.Their shop in downtown Seattle SUCKS... they are rude, and unprofessional, and did damage to my vehicle.The Ravenna shop was awesome. Their body shop is great....Really decent folks... just stay away from the downtown shop.

Heard word of mouth this dealer was "adequate", no raving reviews either way. I lived near the Seattle dealership so once I bought my new s40 I had them do any and all work on it. After two years of doing buisiness with them, they dropped the ball. I had a oil change and replaced the windshield (due to cracking from a rock chip). Two days after leaving the dealership, the rock guard on the underside of the engine compartment came undone on the freeway on our way for an overnight trip to Vancouver B.C. Had to have Volvo's roadside assistance come to tow the car back home to Seattle, however; fortunately for me, the tow truck driver was able to temperary fix on it so I could drive home. The next morning after repeated attempts to contact Bob Byers Volvo, I had to drive several miles out of my way to a dealership that was open, they took me right in and fixed my car in a very professional and expedited manor. I was so grateful to them, if it wasn't for them, not only would I have been out my trip to Canada, but I would have had to wait another full day without my car. You see, the service department was closed at Bob Byers, but of course their answering machine that I had listened to so many times that morning, said nothing about them being closed that day. So the way I see it, I spent alot of money for them to do work on my car, only to have it fall apart on the freeway, ruined my plans, and was treated as if I was simply an open wallet.
