I went to Bosak Motors to purchase a vehicle that was a needle in a haystack. Bosak had the vehicle and my salesman being a young man was respectful, dignified, diligent, and mostly a gentleman. I have purchased cars from several different companies and have never been treated as well as I was at Bosak. Sam is his name. He is a wonderful person and could not have done a better job. The dealership has nice vehicles. However the salesman would not drop the price of a vehicle that was already over priced by $2500 by blue book value. We were also ditched by the salesman for a long length of time so he could go on a test drive with a woman. We left disappointed.

Your service center went above my expectations with the turn around on the transmissionrebuild. When I saw the amount of work in your shop the morning of September 14 I was sure that we would have to stay the weekend at the Best Western Schererville or come back the next week for from Tennessee to pick up vehicle and it seems to be ok.I would like to thank you again for the rapid service so we could get back home with only two (2) extra days motel expense.

Sales, Service, Parts and Finance - terrific, synchronized team. My experience on August 25 was delightfully pleasurable & enjoyable. My original intention was to inquire more about the ProMaster City cargo van for moving personal items to Florida. Andrew West listened to my story and preferences and provided facts why this cargo van might not be the right fit. Having more information and logical reasoning assisted me with clarity and empoweredme to reconsider another choice of vehicle resulting in a purchase of the 2012 Chrysler Town & Country. 'JC' in Finance truly walks the extra mile, caring about me like I was his 'Mom' re: sound & sane financial advise, keeping me from loosing a substantial amount of money from a retirement account. He assured me that he could find a lender so I could finance rather than pay cash. I asked for a review of the trade-in price and JC brought back a better figure. During another visit to Bozak, JC asked how I liked the T&C and I complained of lingering cigarette smoke odor. JC walked me back to Service to inquire if the cabin filter had been changed during pre-inspection. It had and I was handed a print out.Questions & inquiries are cheerfully answered and resolution is established. I truly hope your experience(s) with the Bozak Team are favorable, like mine.

Worked with Andrew West on the purchase of our new Pacifica , he was very knowledgeable about the Vehicle . I had the stressful task of getting a new company car on short notice. I knew I wanted a Chrysler 200, but was not sure if I could find one in the price range and with the options I wanted. The salesman, Andrew West, at Bosak Merrillville took care of everything for me without the pressure and stress Ive always associated with leasing a new car and getting less for my money. Andrew found a car loaded with options for the same lease price my company had paid for the previous lease that had just ended. My old Chrysler 200 was a basic model with very few option, whereas the new car was loaded and in the colour I wanted. Andrew and the Bosak finance team worked closely together and sorted everything with my company concerning the terms lease payment details. I am very pleased with the car and the whole attitude of Bosak Merrillville.

I started shopping for another Jeep online, time for a trade. I received an email back from Nate telling me to let him know when I'd be coming in. Well, I've dealt with 'car salesmen' and some are, just that, a pushy salesman with his mind only on his wallet, so of course I had that thought driving over there that nigjt. I emailed back saying I know the 3 cars I want to test drive, so have them ready (lol). I showed up, met Nate and right away I thought he was a cool guy. There was no trouble or sales pitches at all, we went right for the test drives. I brought the boyfriend, who is very talkative and they talked the whole time we were driving. All of the questions and comments we had about the cars, he was very knowledgeable and I was satisfied and comfortable with everything he told me. I chose the Cherokee, which was my own decision, not 'the salesman's' which it seems to be sometimes, that's just how pushy they are (no offense). When we sat down to start the paperwork Nate was very polite and curtious to me which made me feel comfortable and not uneasy at all about my decision. He walked me through everything, it went super smooth. Even the part where I made him'earn his money' he went to bat for me and got me what I wanted for my trade, great job buddy!! The same goes for Jessica the Finance lady, very, very nice lady. She helped me make a big desision regarding my payments which I think is the best for me, thank you SO much Jessica! Sorry I'm being long winded, but I want everyone to know that I will be purchasing alot more vehicles from Bosak and I recommend everyone to try it out! Go say hi to Nate and tell him Carol sent ya!

Just want to say thank you to my sales person ANDREW WEST. I can honestly say this salesman took the time to understand what I was looking for, my budget, and what I had to do to drive off the lot with the car I've wanted for a long time. He knows his cars. Described every button/function and detail on my car. I've looked high and low for a my dream car and been to a few other dealerships around there and no one and when I say no one, I mean no one took the time to get me into my dream ride. But I didn't give up just yet, me and my husband went to bosak motors in merrillville and we got introduced to Mr West. He wasn't pushy, or the type of salesperson to just look to sell a car and get it off the lot. I highly recommend Mr. West for any vehicle purchases!!! I have not trusted dealerships to service my vehicles for many years due to past experiences. Bosak has changed this. They were very helpful and friendly. Tim in service department worked with me and went above and beyond to help me out! He had to continually call Chrysler corporation to see if they would help with parts since I shouldn't have had a door handle thats hardly used break on a three year old vehicle. He stayed on top of it and I'm so impressed he never gave up. I have changed my mind. I trust Bosak to do service on my vehicle. Trustworthy and friendly!

The whole process of buying a new or in my case, slightly used, car initially seemed to be a terrifying experience. That wasn't the case at all with Andrew West at Bosak. Andrew was SO knowledgeable on the product he was selling. He knew about every single detail about my Jeep and had no problem taking the time to explain the car and its every function in full detail to me. He was not the least bit pushy and didn't try any of the sales tactics that I have experienced at other dealerships. I felt so comfortable during the entire experience and he is honestly such a nice, down to earth guy. JC in the finance office was such a nice guy too. He was so knowledgeable and made it seem like he had all the time in the world to explain any questions I may have for financing my new Jeep--which is really comforting for a first time buyer. Although he explained the various warranties to me, he didn't try pushing any of them on me. Although I did buy an extended bumper to bumper warranty, that was my decision and not due to a pushy salesman. I would definitely recommend Bosak to any of my friends or family!

I've been buying cars from Bosak for several years now and I can't say enough about the experience. My wife and myself owned a 300 S AWD that was purchased new from Bosak as well and absolutely loved the car and the whole buying experience so when we decided to go look at another vehicle Bosak was our first choice. The best part about going into the dealership it's like you're talking to old friends ! John the general manager and Chris our sales consultant were great we came in and drove several vehicles and with their help we narrowed it down to a couple. Since this vehicle was for my wife it was important that she enjoy driving it because she has a 40 mile one-way commute to work every day. They were patient with us explaining everything about each vehicle making sure that we picked just the right one. When it came time to discuss financing options Melissa in finance was fabulous she gave us several options including picking just the right extended warranty to fit our needs. After all the paperwork was signed Chris took the extra time to walk my wife through step-by-step all of the features and benefits of the 2016 Jeep Cherokee that we purchased and also followed up the day after to make sure everything is operating properly. I know from living in the area all my life Bosak is a dealership that's been around forever . One of the things that the Bosak's have kept intact is their integrity and their family orientated atmosphere it truly is an excellent buying experience. On April 28, 2016 I took in my 2015 Cherokee to Bosak Motors for an oil change. I had purchased the vehicle brand new from this dealer in 2015. At the time of the oil change, the Jeep had approximately 5800 miles on it.In the evening after the oil change, I looked under the hood and found that the mechanic had spilled oil on the engine shroud. A slight attempt was made to clean it up but they left oil puddled up in a couple of places. This same thing had happened with my previous oil change at Bosak. I cleaned up the mess myself on the first occasion, and gave the dealership the benefit of the doubt that it would be a one-time occurrence. I also discovered that the oil level was not completely full. It was showing about halfway in the "safe zone." The next day I took the car back to have the situation corrected. I was told that the oil would be cleaned up. The service writer specifically told me that oil was added to the vehicle. When I got home I found that the oil was indeed cleaned up. Unfortunately I found that no oil was added. The oil level was showing at the exact same spot as before.This makes me wonder as to how many times I would have to take the car back for them to get it right? I am not willing to find out.

I took my brand new Grand Cherokee Limited (not even three months old) to them THREE times, in a month, to resolve a couple of issues with the heating elements in the seats/steering wheel, and the last time they assured me all issues were fixed, I didn't even get out of the parking lot before experiencing one of the same problems I reported before bringing it to them for the final appointment. The service manager I'd communicated with about my negative experiences, as well as the service adviser I'd been working with were both gone for the evening so I dealt with a female adviser, who was actually the most helpful of anyone I'd come in contact with there, so far. She assured me that my experience wasn't normal, that it was unacceptable service, and that she'd speak with both of them first thing the next morning, to see what could be done about all my inconvenience, and to get the vehicle back again. After three business days, and not hearing from anyone, I emailed the Service Manager and all he did was forward my email to the adviser I'd been dealing with initially, who just left me a voice mail to say "call/email ME with any questions". Basically the Service Manager could care less about the problems, nor does he any desire to do anything to fix it, or be sure someone doesn't have this type of experience again. I also reached out to the dealer's GM as well, and no one cared to respond. I will NEVER set foot in this dealership again, nor would I EVER recommend someone else go there.

Service department was professional and friendly. Drive in oil change and tire rotation lane great idea - no appointment needed. Waiting had TV, coffee and popcorn to while I waited. Would have given 5 star rating however my wait time could have been shorter. I was told the wait time was due to the car wash lane being backed up - If I was told sooner I would have opted out of the wash.

Have been buying Mopar for the last 13+years. Had been dealing with another dealer for years because I trusted then general manager. After they were bought out, the GM left, and quality (service and sales) tanked. Because of my dads recommendation, I started going to Bosak for all my service needs. The service team is very professional, and always look out for the customer! We decided to purchase a new 2016 Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk. Last night (2/5/16), the sales and finance team kept the doors open to us so my wife and I could start and finish the purchase in one visit. Talk about going the extra mile... They close at 6pm on Friday's, and we all didn't leave until 7:30/7:45. They really do take care of all customers! The team at Bosak, are the kind of people you want to deal with, because they are not pushy. They care! Went in for a recall and needed an oil change and tire rotation. Doug Strow the service writer was very helpful and professional. Kept me informed during my appointment and got it all done in a very reasonable amount of time. I'm going to be in market for a new vehicle soon and was considering going back to GMC but after this visit I think I'll continue with Dodge, Bosak specifically!!!

My 2005 300C had a misfire and CEL so I brought it into Bosak to have it looked at, Jennifer Torres took care of everything at check in which went very smoothly, she said someone would look at it asap and she would let me know what they found. 24 hours later she called me and let me know it needed the #6 lifter replaced, she explained what had to be done to replace the lifter and she gave me a price, I told her I'd get back to her, after speaking to a couple people in our club that had similar work done I realized the price was more than fair and called and gave them the ok to repair it, It took 2 days to fix and now the car runs better than it ever has. I highly recommend to dealership for service and sales. Great people to do business with.

My visit with Bosak dealership was great. Steven was very attentive and understood that I did not want a high car note. So he should me other used cars that would fit my budget. So i test drove the Volkswagen Sedan and fell in love. I also appreciated the finance/credit man for giving me the opportunity to come back and work with him to fix my credit. I do have to complaints but they are minor. When intook my car home, i found out that my car was was cleaned out. There was old information/trash left in the car from the pervious owner. I was also displeased to learn that my windshield wiper fuild was not working. I made appointment for this to be checked out. Besides those 2 things I was very glad with my purchases and would recommend Boasak to my family and friends.

I couldn't be happier with my new automobile purchase...a 2016 Jeep Cherokee. But, what made me even happier than that - was the experience of purchasing my car with Andrew West. I had been looking at Jeeps for the past year and a half on line and in the papers and had a good idea of what I wanted and for what price-even options. Andrew asked me what my needs in a new vehicle were and viola ... he produced a car that met my needs on the first attempt...I didn't even have to go on the lot to car hop. More importantly though, was Andrew's earnestness and sincere effort in getting the pricing and financing I needed and wanted. Melissa Burlison was also very helpful in providing several options in the finance department. And, gosh darn it, they are both just nice people !!! I would definitely recommend purchasing a car with Andrew West at Bosak Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram of Merrillville !!!

We had to have some paint work done (under warranty) because we had some rust. Even though we weren't happy about the premature rust, I have to say they made it as painless as possible. When we received our van back, they not only fixed the rust but they had also swept and cleaned the entire inside. It looked awesome and it was such a nice surprise! We definitely felt like they really take care of their customers.

Scheduled me for a late (7:00PM) oil change and tire rotation. Upon checking in, the Porter could not believe I was scheduled for this service at the late hour. Techs went ahead and did the work as requested in record time. Reminded me of an Indianapolis 500 pit stop. I was out of there by 7:35PM.The young man that checked me in and out was VERY pleasant. Great attitude and an asset your dealership.

In all the experience I've had with car salesman this was by far the best. Doug Walczak was our salesman and he guided us through all our options and helped us achieve the monthly payment we were hoping for. Not once was he pushy or rude in any way. Doug gave us his opinion on which model of the Grand Caravan he thought would best suit our needs and he was right but once again he was never pushy. We love our new van and Bosak now has a new loyal customer.

I live in Valpo and went to the jeep dealership here and looked around for 25 minutes and no one came out to help me, I still can't figure that one out!! So I drove to Merrillville and within minutes Brian was out helping me. I told him everything I wanted and within minutes I was test driving a grand Cherokee, which I love!!! The software updates did not take very long. Dispute the service garage being extremely busy, I was only there for about a half hour. Personnel as friendly and thorough. Dealership is very clean and waiting room is very comfortable.

Finally, settling on a 2016 Cherokee, he had to move numerous vehicles around in order to get the one that I chose. The entire staff worked hard to make sure that I got the deal that fit my budget. Had wife's car in for oil change and new tires at 54K miles. A salesman, Chris, saw me and asked me why I was there and I said new tires. He responded "new tires, time for a new car!". I stopped to see my longtime friend Steven Isakson in his office. Told him what Chris had said and he jumped up and said "You should see what a deal we have on the floor." It was a demo Grand Cherokee with low miles and a great price. We had my wife's care appraised for trade in. She was waiting to pick up her car so we had her look at the one on the floor, she liked it, Steven worked up the numbers, called me the next day and we bought the car. Picked it up the next day. Wonderful.

After bad service experiences at other Jeep dealerships in the area, I decided to give it one more a shot before trading in my Cherokee. I am glad I went here! Dale and his team went above and beyond to ensure I was updated on the status of my vehicle and made sure I had a car to get around in while mine was being repaired. I needed a new transmission, not a small repair, and they did a great job. There were a couple things that needed to be done after the transmission - I took it back and they fixed the minor problems right away.If you want a safe bet on service - go here!!!

I took my car to Bosak yesterday for its regular maintenance. Whenever you go to this dealership, you are not treated like a customer. You're treated more like family. They take the time to assess your needs and explain anything that comes up to you. I thought it was amazing when they plugged in a device to my car and the data showed up on a tablet, letting me see information about the car, including the tire pressure in each tire. I was impressed. I also enjoy the fact that they give your car a free car wash after they finish servicing it. They go the extra mile and I appreciate it.

Had warranty work done on a minivan and when I got it back my fuel gauge was acting up. It dropped from 1/2 tank to empty in a few minutes so I stopped at a gas station to fill up. The gas cap was hard to remove. After adding gas it happened again. After being treated as though I was a bother. I had another mechanic look at it and he found that the line that lets air into the tank to prevent a vacuum had been clamped shut. I can't help but wonder if this was done to get more warranty work from the same vehicle. Now more recently, I called to ask about a skim code for a replacement key for a jeep liberty. I was told it would cost $35 for a code for a vehicle I own. After calling around, I found that most dealers will give the code for free. Which makes sense since if you own the car you should also own the code.

I was left very unimpressed with Sean Schuster, one of their internet salesman reps. He continues to send me automated emails telling me that "Bosak's offer on my trade is about to expire", "Only 24 hours left!", and "Offer will expire soon", even though I NEVER offered my vehicle for appraisal or trade with Bosak! Yet, on the one question I asked him about an extended warranty, he promised to "check with a manager", and of course never got back to me with an answer. To be fair, though, his automated emails did "promose (SIC) to make the process easy and quick", so there's that. Now, I know that used car dealerships are often shady. But to me, it's a really bad sign when they can't even coordinate their automated email spam so that it makes sense and is somewhat relevant to the buyer. Based on my experience, I'm steering clear of Bosak, and I advise others to do the same.

I bought a dodge ram big horn from there. after about a month the factory remote start went out on it. it was a Mopar remote start and they would not fix it because they said it wasn't a factory part. during the car buying process the salesman threw a fit because I wouldn't buy a car when the gas light was on. about a week after my purchase I had a supervisor call and ask me how my experience was. I told him it was the worst I ever saw. he said he would look into it and get back to me. I've never heard back from them. pretty much I'd rather be kicked below the belt then buy a car from these people.

After doing an online internet view of the 2015 Jeep Compass Limited, I was contacted by two local Jeep dealers. The original one had an okay response via email with my questions. However, very poor with a phone call/voicemail, which wasn't responded to for 7 hours. Not so with Bosak Motors Internet department. Patrick called me immediately. Then, said I'd hear from his manager, Ed, which I did. My appointment was handled by Doug Walczak on March 6th and he handled my order of my Compass Limited. I wanted a specific interior and exterior color. Suffice it to say, my order was placed that day and 4 weeks to the date, my car was built and delivered (this is not a common thing to be built so quickly). Anyway, the final dealing with Melissa Burlison, Finance Manager was the best as far as stressless! No big sale for the add-ons. They were presented in various levels, here are the prices, you want or not? I LOVE that about the final purchase. Doug showed me everything that was different from my trade in 2007 Jeep Compass Limited and I was on my way. I love that car and I now will drive 5 more miles to have my Jeep serviced at Bosak, just because they did make me feel so welcomed. Thanks everyone!

Our experience was great. We began by talking to our Salesman , Chris Rudzinski and were later given the website to look at since we needed time to evaluate our options. Once we settled on a car, we called Chris and gave him the information. When we arrived to finalize the deal, Chris was very attentive and answered any remaining questions. Once we were done with the financing work, the car was ready and Chris took a great amount of time to make sure that we were familiar with and comfortable with the features and options on the car. My wife and I walked into the Bosak dealership expecting the usual amount of hassling and pressure that seems to go hand-in-hand when purchasing a new vehicle. This tends to ruin the pleasure of driving away in a nice new suv (in our case, a 2015 Jeep Cherokee). But to our surprise, two gentlemen (Brian Kirkland & Mattew Reid) managed to satisfy our needs in a considerate and highly professional manner. They were diligent in locating a Cherokee we wanted, a difficult task because we wanted a specific model with specific options, etc. Because of this extremely satisfying car-buying experiense, I strongly recommend going to Bosak if you're interested in buying the line of vehicles they sell. By the way, my wife and I agree that the Jeep Cherokee is a fantastic suv for the money.

My wife and I bought a new town and country there that after 30k miles has needed the wiring harness replaced, all the rotors on the breaks replaced, which they didn't cover, and multiple sensors have gone bad. The repairs take much longer than they estimate every time. The last sensor that failed was directly related to them doing the break job sloppy, I took it to another mechanic first and he said whoever did your breaks broke the sensor.

Never trying to upsell or gouge. I feel he is an amazing front face to the general public. His company promotion throughout the World Wide Web is crazy. Everywhere you look, Bozak has a car show, get together, or brand knowledge out there. Tony Baily is by far the best service manager I have dealt with in years. His attention to concerns and problem solving are by far superior in this industry. His communication is exceptional. He handles business. Melissa Burlison is equally awesome in the finance office. Even as she was swamped with many closings, she took her time and did not rush. She did not badger about additional products. Once no was said, she moved on to the next product. She helped me find the best additional coverage to protect my investment. She was not disappointed it was not the most expensive. This was not my first buying experience. This is roughly my 30th Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram Srt purchase. I have spent a couple hundred hours in automobile dealerships and this by far exceeded my expectations both times. Overall all The service provided by Luis Garcia is the reason why I purchased a new vehicle from Bosak Auto Group. I searched online for several weeks before finding a 2015 Dodge Grand Caravan SXT at the best price with the options desired. I traveled 1 hour to Bosak early on a Saturday morning and arrived at the lot only to find that the Van I had reviewed was not on the lot. I went inside to ask for help and had apparently arrived about 25 minutes before the sales team morning meeting had finished. I looked around for a while and without being helped I decided to simply leave and go down the road to the other dealership on my list. At about that time all of the sales team came pouring out of a hallway and onto the sales floor. Half of the team walk right past me, one even said excuse me and walked past. At that point having been there for 25 minutes with no help and than having someone say excuse me and walk by, I had decided to leave. Luis walked through the group and asked if I had been helped yet and apologized as they had all been in mtg's prior to opening. Had Luis not walked through the group and introduced himself, this would be a totally different email. But, his help and service was excellent and I purchased the new vehicle that day. After buying the challenger, it led to a jeep grand cherokee, then a few years later.. a durango R/T, again getting the options that we wanted, etc. Service department is great as well for oil changes or those cool customizations like we did to the Challenger, they got the pieces we needed and painted to match, etc. Very high quality.I highly recommend dealing with the staff at Bosak. I mean they are home of the 24/7 car show too! Check them out!

Buyer Beware!!! if you're buying a used vehicle from Bosak, be sure EVERYTHING works before you sign! We purchased a used Trailblazer, was advertised as 4-Wheel Drive and we were told everything works. When my husband went to use the 4WD, nothing...wheels didn't engage, it just didn't work. When we called Bosak, their only focus was that we didn't purchase the extended warranty...this had nothing to do with extended warranty! Thank goodness my husband is very talented with vehicles...after some research and MUCH time spent by my husband, we purchased the needed part and it's working now. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND BOSAK...we will not be back.

The service department is horrible. They are a bunch of scam artists. I recently took my car in to get fixed I told them exactly what I wanted fixed and they fixed another part and told me that would fix the problem. What they changed did not fix the problem and now I'm out a lot of money because these xxxxxxxx won't work with me. I will never do business with them again all because the service department was that horrible. If you want to get your car fixed take it somewhere else these people are not honest at all. They are those mechanics that will fix everything except for the problem and charge you an arm and leg for it.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND Bosak Chrysler Jeep and Salesman Matthew Reid!! AWESOME EXPERIENCE with these folks and will absolutely return and recommend them!! Very nice finance gentleman, Steve Isakson was a pleasure to deal with as well. After several really bad encounters with other dealerships, I dreaded starting over looking for another used car, but had no choice. Drove by this dealership and on a fluke decided to just stop in to see what they had. Matthew Reid helped me and he was GREAT! Without telling him of my bad experiences recently, he was genuinely a very nice, helpful, pleasant guy to deal with and I didn't feel pushed or pressured into anything. He answered any questions and we just felt that he wwas a genuinely honest, forthcoming individual; which H sincerely appreciated, NOT the stereotypical car salesman type which H dread dealing with. We left that night with a deposite on the vehicle, tied up loose ends the next day and by the next evening I drove it home. They took care of everything and I felt like a person, not a number to them. Couldn't be happier:)

Over all I'd have to say that i hate car dealerships. I hate the negotiating and waiting around to get the deal you want or waiting to find out they cant make the deal. This is not the case with Matt Reid at Bosak. I was looking for a jeep grand cherokee and found one online at Bosak. So i decided to call and had gotten a call within 5 mins from Matt ready to help me as much as possible to get the deal done. We agreed on a price i could afford and he told me not to lock it in until i drove it. So i took a ride to indiana (I'm from the southwest suburbs in chicago) and when i walked in i was greeted about 4 times, asked if i needed help about 3 and when i said "no, I'm waiting for matt" they went and tried to find him. (He was helping another customer). While i waited i was asked if i needed anything. It was great. Ive never felt so welcomed at a dealership in my life. Finally i met Matt and without hesitation he knew exactly why i was there. No explanation needed. He went and got the car and i took it for a test drive. The knowledge i had on the car was unbelievable because i test drove 3 others and did research so i knew what i was getting into. Matt knew all of it and more so. I actually told him and thanked him for being so knowledgeable. After all the "talking" it was time to make the decision and i couldn't pass up the deal they gave me. And all the help they did to make it happen. They even referred me to an insurance company to get a lower rate , and they were once again. Right. I then met with Steve to finalize all the paper work and told him how pleased i was with everyones service and that i wish i could talk to the owner and tell him how grateful i was to have such wonderful service. Now after about 3 weeks of having the car. I was told i could come pick up the title. I asked if they could send it. And there was no problem. Over nighted and i left my iPass in my truck i traded and they had no problem sending that also. I may be missing some details. But I hope this is enough to tell people how pleased i was to work with Matt and steve. i absolutely love my Jeep. And thank you guys VERY MUCH!!!Russ Christopher

My husband was in search of a used SUV --- found a really nice one on autotrader.com, vehicle was at Bosak's --- my husband called there to be sure vehicle was still available, he told them he wanted to take it for a test drive --- we arrived, Denise Recker met us immediately in the parking lot! After taking it for a drive, it took my hubby a while to settle on price, but Denise and her manager worked with him until he was satisfied! We drove off with a really nice SUV :) Denise was a wonderful saleswoman! and I would recommend Bosak's (and Denise) if you're looking for a vehicle.

There was absolutely no pressure and both took the time over multiple visits to make sure my wife and I we're comfortable making our purchase. When we decided to buy Chris found a Jeep with 90% of everything that I was looking for at a dealer less than 500 miles away.He had it transfered with the last of the parts I wanted and had them installed the very next day. He even took the time to take photos of the install and email me the progress. Mind you, I asked for none of this. Again, Chris and Joy went above and beyond and I can't recommend them enough. My fiance and I accidentally visited Bosak thinking a truck we wanted to see would be there. We were greeted and brought inside to see if the vehicle was on the lot. When we found out it wasn't there my fiance was asked if there were any other vehicles he would be interested in. He gave his price range and some cars he was interested in (Avenger,Dart). The woman began listing off any random car on the lot, ranging from a Ford Explorer, Chevy Malibu, Dodge Nitro. When my fiance said he wasn't interested in those cars she got frustrated, sighing every time, and took us outside. She decided to show us a car that was $5,000 out of our budget, mind you after repeating our budget three times. She then took us inside and asked if we could pay $100 more a month, to which again we said no. She then began to lecture us, saying no bank would approve us for what we were asking for (prior to even running our credit) and told us a bank wants first time car buyers to buy a newer car with low miles because the bank that would be skeptical to approve us for an older car with higher miles that would be in our price range. After telling us we had unrealistic expectations, we drove up the road to The Subaru dealership where we were treated with respect and purchased a vehicle.We would have been much happier if she would have said something like, "I'm sorry we currently have nothing in stock you are looking for but if I could get your name and number I would be more than happy to give you a call if something pops up," instead of visibly getting frustrated with us when we were uninterested in the current stock.In conclusion, if you want to be pressured into buying a car out of your price range and treated poorly, you've found the right place.

I recently had occasion to purchase a new Dodge Challenger ...., It has turned out to be the most pleasant experience I've had spending big money in a very long time.I worked with Rocco Santana and John Schultheis with the package deal, and discovered these fellas were wonderful to do business with, and to share freindly stories, (mostly about cars).John, I found out is the General Managing expert of the sales dept. ..... He guided my purchase like I was having a baby.And YES, it is my new baby I am happy to report !John,not only helped me, he saved me a lot of money ......even after the sale !!!!!! Yes. He called me back, and had me write up and sign a new and better deal he and the finance dept. found for me.... I saved even more $$ !! Now I am thinking....Wow, I've never ever had a dealership do that, or even care what happened after the sale......John also showed me certain web sites , and info to be able to keep up with the current news for my beautiful new Dodge Challenger !Since then I have gone on car cruises, car shows, (They actually have car show/beach party time in the summer that's a blast) !Any time I had a question or a problem Bosak's team led by John S. --- went above and beyond to help me out and solve my issue.I now live in Maryland....and I am happy and proud to say that ....I drive all the way to Merrillville In. , to have all my service and repair work done .....I love the service team,and recently had to have some work done that was performed quickly, professionally, and "painlessly".... First off Let me say this I had bought a truck from Bosak in 2003 and had an excellent experience with them , that being said when we decided to look for a minivan for my wife , of course we went back to Bosak they had a nice 2008 Chrysler Town and Country that we liked so we made the deal and took possession, was told the vehicle was in the service department that day being checked out and all was good, Well it was snowing and stuff over the next two days and it needed tires real bad so we did not drive it much, once we were able to drive and get it good and warm I smelled antifreeze and it was smoking called up they said bring it in , Took it to them and the fixed a bad piece that was leaking and did it pretty fast, The next weekend I took the van to get an oil change and the oil change place said there was an oil leak at the back of the engine called Bosak they said bring it in so I did turns out its not oil but a leaking power steering hose and the extended warranty doesnt cover that so now I am expected to pay to put a few hundred dollar hose on a van that I have had for less than two weeks at that time. Now this did bother me but I could get over it what I cant get over is what happened next. When we purchased the van I specifically asked when I would get the title or the correct paperwork so That I can get plates because we had a very expensive Disney vacation coming in a couple of weeks. At this point I was told they typically have the paper work ready in 10 days that was fine with me. We got the van on Feb 26 2013 on Mar 13 2013 I called to find out about the paper work for plates because we are supposed to leave for vacation on Mar 18. They guy said let me look into it he calls me back tells me they paid the van off Feb 27, and dont have the title yet I told him Hey when I bought this you Knew I needed the plates because the temporary tag would expire while I was gone. I told him you need to do something to get me some plates because I just bought this van to take on vacation and now I will have to cancel plans, He tells me Take it anyway and if you get stopped or get a ticket bring it to me and I will take care of it, Now anyone knows you get stopped out of state and you could be looking at an impound. Then he tells me call the license branch and get a temporary tag, now if I had the necessary paper work for a temporary tag I would just get the plates. Then I was told to call back in the morning and Talk to another lady and they would see what they could do about getting the title overnighted from whoever they had to payoff for it, When I called the lady she really had no answers other than I have to call this place, Later this afternoon My wife called and was told by this lady who I do not fault for this mess at all because she was not involved in the sale of this vehicle, told my wife that she called the place and they sent the title Yesterday and it is coming from Texas and they may have it Monday , Well we are supposed to be leaving Monday and guess what the license branches in Indiana are closed on Mondays so Now I have no choice but to push off Vacation by one day Which if any of you know going to Disney this time of year you just cant call a condo and say oh yea we need to cancel a Night. So now not only do I have to push my plans back one day I still have to pay for the condo that we wont get to until Wednesday if we are lucky. This year is our 16th wedding anniversary this trip is something I have put everything into to make perfect for my wife Including renewing our vows and also being able to see my children perform at Disney with the school choir and Now everything will be behind schedule for something that was specifically asked about in the beginning if you couldnt deliver the title in time for my vacation I would not have bought your van , So needless to say you have cost me money and an enormous amount of stress You have just lost a return customer

All of the staff in the Service department are very professional, informative, and nice! I never feel like I have been over charged or that my vehicle is not serviced properly. And if by chance it was (has never happened) I could bring it back with no fuss and it will be fixed. Before they start any work they will inform you of what the problem is and how much it will cost. And if you have an extended warranty, even if it is not one that you puchased with them, they will call and make sure that as much is covered as possible so you get the best price. They work very fast and get the job done right! Nanci in service is super nice and always goes above and beyond to make you feel comfortable and appreciated. I recently bought a used dodge challenger from Ed Rogala at Bosaks. I called ahead and Ed had the car pulled up front ready for me to look at. He was respectful of my time and fulfilled my every request. Not to mention the great no haggle price! I would definitely recommend Ed and this dealership and not hesitate to go back when I'm ready to buy again.

i have been in the bosak family for 7years now. and have enjoyed the experience so much. the friendly sales people make you feel well at home. Everyones very curious and really mean to get you the best deal possible. i have been to other dealers and theres no comparison. The service dept. is to notch, and all work is explain clearly so u understand exactly whats going on. There is no other place i will buy a car. The have a lifetime buyer.

I have purchased many automobiles for business and personal use and have had many positive experiences. This was NOT one of them. The salesperson was totally unprepared to present the product he was trying to sell. The overall aptmosphere was cold and unfriendly. I was quickly told that the dealership closed early at 6pm on Fridays. I knew what I wanted in a vehicle, had more than adaquate cash/credit to complete the "Right" deal and was mistreated. As a result, I went to South Oak Chrysler and found a vehicle that had what your salesperson said was not available on the T&C-L in stock in the right color at the right price. Guess what?........I bought it! Thius sale could have been with yur dealership had I been handled properly. No good Sales Manager would ever let a qualified sale walk out of the door to go and spend money some place else.........oh, by the way he never bothered to introduce himself or even speak to us. RECOMMEND YOUR DEALERSHIP.....NOT A CHANCE!

He was very knowledgable of the vehicles and was able to get us into the vehicle we want for the price we were looking for. There was no pressure. We are very pleased with our experience!! As a supplier for the Big 3 I went to Bosak's to purchase a new vehicle. I was coddled and reassured, but the numbers just didn't add up. I questioned the selling price and was told that Supplier Discounts are optional to the dealerships and they are not required to honor them and if they choose to they decide what portion of the discount they will apply to your purchase. SUPPLIER DISCOUNT IS NOT OPTIONAL!!! I will be reporting Bosak's to corporate for that reason. Trade ins... I have never been so insulted with a trade appraisal. I understand that everyone needs to make a living and feed their family, but difference from what Bosak's offered me for my trade in to what I actually received when I traded it at another dealership was $4,750. How does anyone with a conscious low ball a trade in by $5,000? Bottom line - Bosak's are crooks.

I was on cars.com looking for a Jeep Wrangler used. I found a few but this place had the best price. When I got to the dealer I met a sales guy that was nice and asked me a few questions about what I was looking for and I told him I saw one online and showed him the print out. I pretty much did all my homework before I got there so his job was not to hard. Good people great price and overall very happy...I would recommend.

I drove from Fort Wayne Indiana (2hours) to look at a car that i saw online. The car was even nicer than the salesperson descrbed. I purchased the car and had a great experience. Very freindly and no sales pitches. I would highly recommend this company.
