I have been waiting for an hour and twelve minutes and all I needed was an oil change. I would rather pay $20 then wait. The worst part is you have to schedule an appointment they are an half hour apart why have that type of window I'd it takes you longer!!!!!!!

I gave 4 stars because I never rate anything at the extremes. If I rate at the high end it implies no improvement possible and anything can be improved and if I rate at the low end it implies it couldn't get worse. My experience was very positive. The sales rep did his job well. He developed a customer profile, he gently led me where he wanted and let the buyer (me) buy.

Exterior of the vehicle was damaged during a routine oil change. The same vehicle has also been in for repair of an interior rear panel that that they damaged when the vehicle was new during the installation of a trailer hitch wiring harness. After having the vehicle in their shop for over three days, they were still unable to repair the panel. Even writing registered letters to the owner has not helped in getting the panel repaired properly.

Very strong dealership that can really give the best buy with great service. Recently my son leased his first car here. I was very impressed then on his deal and overall experience. So shortly after, unfortunatley our Odyssey was totalled. Now forced to buy another car I felt comfortable going here to do it. Deirdra Lipowski refused to give me a good deal, and insisted on giving me a GREAT deal. From start to finish she was excellent to my wife,kids,and myself. She had the support from the uppers to make it even better than I could expect. Also from the minute the manager Cono knew our situation, he was extremely accomodating and made sure my family had a car, and even offered a loaner car to get through this time of being car-less with kids. No games, no pressure, Thanks again Deirdra for going the extra mile for making us this happy with our new CRV lease. Also, the upper managers Freddy Bauta, Joe Stroffolino, and Cono Cirone helped her get me this deal. When this lease is up I will be back and I hope its the same staff. What great teamwork.

I visited the dealer last week for some routine service. As usual, they did a great job. My service rep, Kristin, knows my car and always seems happy to see me. The work was done quickly without up selling. Based on my experience at Causeway I am pretty confident that when they recommend something it is necessary. I do wish they would vacuum and wash the car. Other than that, they are perfect.

After being turned down by , and, or overly priced by numerous dealerships, I decided to give Causeway a chance because of a letter I received "guaranteeing" they could help me. Truthfully I was skeptical because of all my prior dealings with many dealerships, but I had an appt with Robert Matthews and for some reason I had a fairly good feeling about it. WELL, I was RIGHT! He was able to get me out of a terrible situation with my current car, and put me in a brand new vehicle. He was very professional and did his job so well that I felt calm thru the whole experience. As I stated at the beginning , the process was "painless" and also quick from start to finish. I also REALLY liked the gentleman I worked with in finance, I'm sorry I don't recall his name right now ;(. I would def. recommend this dealership to friends! Thanks!!

I had the best car buying experience with Shane Houston, Cono Cirone and Don Bosco. Shane was not only personable but he was knowlagable as well! Every question I had about the car I was interested in he knew the answer. Cono was very nice as well he said he would " make it as quick and as painless as possible" and he kept his promise and then some. Don in finance was fantastic also, he worked with the bank so fast he had me approved in no time. from start to finish my experience at causeway was exceptional. I was using car cargurus to locate a car in the Manahawkin area. As a single mother of an Adult son with a catastrophic illness . I needed reliable transportation at a fair price . I went dealerships in the area which I had contacted through cargurus although I did not at Manahawkin. I had been to Causeway Honda previously and went in looking for the young man who had helped me before . After that visit Causeway contacted me and I left a good review and that I would recommend them to others . . I was told on this visit that my salesman was unavailable. I then found a used Honda at Causeway that was overpriced . I showed the new salesman the cargurus app and asked that they at least make it a fair price . No go . Other dealerships in the area offered more for my trade-in and were willing to work with me on price . My car salesman was very interested in winning a contest at his dealership and not much interested in getting me a fair deal . After purchasing the car Causeway did not contact me for a review . As it would have been very different . I do like the car though .

I recently discovered a beautiful Nissan 370z through the truecar website that Causeway Honda was selling. I live out of state, and I worked with Mike Kuna and Matt Klark. They were very helpful with the million questions I had about the car, since I would be shipping the car to my house and wouldn't be able to test drive or see the car in person. They even created personalized videos and many pictures to show me a tour of the car. They had very good communication with me and were always giving me updates on everything. I have to say, I am very impressed and glad I picked Causeway Honda to be the dealer of my new Nissan! Thank you Mike Kuna, Matt Klark, and Causeway! After having very poor communications with a local Honda dealer I sent out via the internet that I was looking for a white Civic EX-L with ivory interior. Causeway Honda called me and set up an appointment. Even though it did take most of the day they were able to locate the car for me and had it delivered the next day. My sales person was Alex Bowers. He was pleasant to talk with and very knowledgeable on all aspects of the car. I also had Kate working with Alex because she had just started working and was in training to be a salesperson. Kate was also knowledgeable and easy to talk with. I would would recommend either one for a future car buying experience.

Have gotten 2 cars from Causeway. Cono has been there for both and this guy makes things happen. If he can't get it done then no one can. Kevin Umberger was the salesman that helped me the whole way through this experience. He worked with me to find the truck that fit me, my standards, and the banks standards. Through the whole day Cono and Kevin worked to get me into the truck I wanted. I will buy no car from anything other dealership as long as I am in NJ thanks to these two. Never have I seen the customer service from a dealership that is given from this one. Do yourself a favor and look no further and get a car from Causeway. Sat in this dealership all day while the sales man walked back and forth to talk to the finance manager. Returned again to give it another shot and still waited and was the only customer in the building on a Friday night. Was quoted a monthly payment of $468.00 for a vehicle and then once another dealer provided a much lower quote, then quoted $319.00 a month.

We had bought a 2015 CRV from them in April. In November, my husband was hit from behind, and his car was totaled. The policeman said if there was more speed involved it would have been a fatality. Luckily, the car did what it was suppose to due, and directed some of the damage away from him.We went back to Causeway to get a new car. We met with two salespeople over the course of several days and we loved them both. No pressure to take the car tonight like certain other dealers in the Toms River area. We purchased a 2016 Odyssey and love it. Thank you Matthew Clark and Rob Matthews. You are the best

our salesperson, Jen Baker was once again pleasant,courteous, and highly professional. We had no intention of purchasing a new car until Jen informed both my wife and I of what vehicles were available and at a tremendous savings. In the past several months we were looking on and off at the cars when we brought our present Hondas in for service and this time the Honda Accord Sport caught our eye thanks to Jen. Tom Johanson has been working on my 2006 Honda Ridgeline for over eight years and the truck with regular maintenance now has over 309,000 miles on it, waiting for the new Ridgeline to emerge as a 2017 model. Causeway has been a very good dealership overall and the work Tom has done on my truck has been excellent. It is the reason I continue to service there although the dealership is more than 30 miles away.

Matt is my service guy and always is helpful and does his best to assist me with my car service or when there are problems. I find him to be truthful and I like that he doesn't try to get me to get things fixed that don't need to be or push unneeded services on me. Most people say never take your car to the dealership for service, but because they treat me right and don't over charge me (which is unusual for a dealership), I continue to get my car repaired and serviced there.

Causeway is a friendly dealership, unfortunately they miss the mark when delivering basic service. It is not the first time I have dropped my vehicle for an early bird service, and the dealership did not locate my keys in their lockbox. It happened one time at Nissan, and another time at honda. I even called to ask them to look for the key, since I did not include the early drop off in my original ticket. It is not pleasant to expect your car has been serviced, and no one even knows your car is there. It begs the question, "what process is in place when a customer does not show up for a scheduled appointment?" It appears there is no concern, since this happened twice. I would like to say the staff has been friendly, and I believe they would attract more customers if they just slowed down a little to pay attention to details.

I had the nicest sales person but everyone there was sooo nice...no pressure....no stares or sales people sharking me....I test drove all three models of the 2015 Honda Civic..ended up leasing the EX....beautiful car...nice ride and above all a great deal...they worked with me for what I could pay and be comfortable with paying. Just purchased our new CR-V and was very pleased with the entire process. Our salesman, Eric was more than helpful through the entire process. We would recommend him to any one thinking about making a purchase there. Matt in service helped us with service contract decisions and was very knowledgeable. When we decided to lease a car dedicated for commuting we went back to Causeway only because our experience with Tom was so positive. If you decide to purchase a Honda, do yourself a favor, find Tom for a stress free experience. Just an FYI....Finance and Service are customer service driven folks, easy to deal with and very helpful. The only reason the dealership doesn't get 5 stars is they still try to tag on glass etching and shore packages. Come on guys, get ur hands out of our pocket!

Dan the the guy that works in service has no customer service skills whatsoever. I have been going there for years and have been very happy with the service department until today when I dealt with dan. He says to me noore free oil changes that I have been getting for years, so consider yourself lucky . That was his sarcastic response to Ma as a loyal customer, needless to say I will never go there again.

The Service Department at Causeway Honda is great at explaining your vehicle needs. My Service Technician, Matt Cassidy, has been a great help with each of my Honda Accord's. He knows how to explain the vehicle's needs in a way non-mechanics can understand. He never tries to push you into service you do not need. This is my 5th car thru causeway and they never let us down!!! They go above and beyond! Mike V. In the financing/warranty department is absolutely amazing, amazing is an understatement. Cono the sales manager always does whatever he can do for me and more. I always feel like family here with these guys they really want their customers happy and you definitely get that feeling here . This was the first time I met Tom who actually sold us the car he was so pleasant and helpful. He even came in on his day off and offer to bring the car to us!!! Now that's customer service!!!! I purchased a Civic coupe EX the evening after Christmas from Tom Riche. It was my first new car purchase, and although I wanted to be sure I got the best deal, I didn't have tons of time to spend in the showroom negotiating price and terms. Fortunately, I didn't have to! I believe it took about two hours or even less from my test drive to taking delivery of my brand new car, at a fair price and affordable payment. It was late, but my salesman still took the time to show me the car's options and features (which are awesome by the way!) Tom and the sales managers were sure to follow up the next day and make sure everything is going well, which it certainly is!

After a 4 month search for my son's first car as well as one for myself and after dealing with multiple "ethically-challenged" car dealerships throughout New Jersey, I spontaneously found myself on a rainy Monday evening at the lot of Causeway Honda. There I was met by Jennifer Baker. As I had done with previous sales people, I explained what I was looking for and exactly how I intended to accomplish my goals. I also explained my frustration and lack of trust with prior car dealerships because of their galactic failure to consistently disclose ALL of the material terms of any potential deal. I must have walked out of half a dozen dealerships prior to entering Causeway Honda. I explained to Jen that I felt like I was starting the entire car-buying process all over again. Jen listened to my stories of woe and could clearly see the anxiety on my face. She quickly put me at ease and took the time to explain the Causeway Honda car buying process. Without going on and on here (which I could do), suffice it to say, ALL of my needs were met, ALL of my goals accomplished, and ALL of my preconceived notions regarding car salespersons were put to bed. My Causeway Honda story began on a rainy Monday and ended on Saturday with the purchase of my sons first car on a Friday and my new lease on a Saturday. This simply could not be accomplished, in the manner in which it was accomplished without Jen Baker and her patience, kindness, understanding, and willingness to hear me out and make things work. But wait....there's more....I also want to give kudos to Michael Vanacore (Business Manager) who also put me at ease in closing the deal. If you are anxious in any way about buying a car and somewhat untrusting of car salespeople, I understand as I am the same way, however, I would urge you to go see Jen Baker and Causeway Honda as I did and, after only a few moments, your fears and anxieties will disappear. I test drove a vehicle on a Friday and when I was set to come in on a Sat I was pressured to give my credit card over the phone to hold the vehicle. I explained that I was only 15 minutes out and I was driving and that it woukd be unsafe for me and my 7 year old son to risk stopping on the Garden State Parkway to provide this to him. He continued to insist to a poin t I told him to keep the car and I would seek to purchase from another dealer. This is pathetic the sale over human safety!

I've bought quite a few vehicles over the years, different makes and models, and this is my first Honda. I have to say it was probably the most pleasurable experience I've ever had. I never had the feeling to walk out; I felt the salesperson went out of her way to work with us, and never seemed pushy. Yes, we spent the requisite three plus hours at the dealership before closing the deal, but that wasn't due to haggling. It was simply the process. I've experienced a salesperson having to talk to the manager to check out a price I wanted, and he would come back a half hour later, or I would leave because I got tired of waiting. That did not happen here. I honestly don't know if it was because this is the first time a young lady was the salesperson, instead of a man, or just because she combined her skill as a salesperson with a winning personality and a genuine interest in helping us through the process without "bullying" the client. So, the combination of the personable, professional nature of the salesperson and the quality of the product would absolutely drive us (no pun intended) back to Causeway Honda in the future, as well as suggesting that dealership to others.

While we were there, having checked in with our service writer Matt, and spoken with our mechanic Pete about what I was looking to have done, we met with our prior sales rep Eric about getting copies of stolen documents from our previous purchases. Jennifer had been our sales rep before Eric and, since her triumphant return, we deferred back to her with questions regarding our other vehicle, a Nissan Murano. Jennifer knew we had some issues with this vehicle so looked into our loan and what could be done to put my wife in a newer, more reliable vehicle. Though there were some issues caused by a clerical error from a dealership in another state, Jennifer worked thoroughly with Mike to figure out the financing possibilities and loan potentials. Though it took most of the day(my civic had been finished for quite some time), by the time we were ready to head home, a loan had been arranged, paperwork had been signed, and my wife had keys to a new Honda Fit.We absolutely love coming to Causeway Honda. We've been doing business with them for a decade and, though we recently moved further north, we can't see NOT going there for all our service and sales needs. Everyone is very friendly, always offers a smile, a greeting, a hand shake, and does what they can to make sure you have a pleasant experience, even if they have to give you bad news. I bought a brand new Accord from them and then had to be towed at 10,000 miles due to oil problems with the car. Had numerous visits to service for the same recurring problem (towed 2 more times). They kept telling me that it was normal for this model to need the oil changed every 3,000 miles, for it to be down more than a quart every time and for the car to act as though the engine was ready to seize every 3,000 miles. They jerked me around for 40,000 miles until i finally called corporate pleading to bring my car to another dealership for evaluation for no charge (since i was past my warrantee now). The new dealership evaluated the problem the first time, had to replace the engine admitting that the engine was faulty and was extremely helpful. I wouldn't buy a skateboard from this dealership. They are inept, deceptive and could care less about their customers once they have your money. BEWARE! Bernie Madoff is more trustworthy than this dealership.

Beware!!!!! This dealership tried every deceptive practice in the book. First they sold us a used vehicle with a bent frame, overcharged for the vehicle, and overcharged for the warranty (sold us vehicle as is). Never even apologized. That sickening experience prompted us to want to buy a brand new vehicle. We felt they owed us a favor after ripping us off with the first deal. Gave them the chance to redeem themselves and the Causeway Dealership name and reputation (which according to this site and many others is horrible!). They showed us a vehicle. We gave them our offer. We were just about to sign the contract when I noticed the vehicle was not the same one they showed us a few days earlier. Now I know why he asked us to come back at night, in the dark!! The classic bait and switch!! I thought we were dealing with a reputable dealership and didn't think I had to be concerned with people who have no concern for their integrity or the integrity of their company. This dealership definitely gives Honda a bad name!! AVOID THIS DEALER AT ALL COSTS!!!! Even after they sold us a vehicle that put my entire family's safety at risk we were willing to give them a second chance!! I guess that was our fault. They still had the audacity to try to scam us with such a blatant misrepresentation. We have discovered other examples of this type of practice that they have got away with on other customers along without outright fraud!! Please save yourself the headache and heartache! I wish someone would have warned me.

first of all they lead us on knowing that we couldnt have what we wanted and dragged it out for about a week and then when we came back a week later for paperwork everything was suppose to be all set with the best rate and bank approval,but no none of the banks were called or had gotten us any approvals so we waited almost 10 hours my husband and i were livid. they knew we didnt have any money down to put and played us as we waited 10 hours in the dealership they had showed us a step up crv the 2012 and i of course fell in love not that i didnt love the certified pre-owned 2010 crv but just played us and seemed like things were looking good for us. in their desperate attempt by the end of our 10 hour duration sitting and waiting to hear from a bank they told us that in order to get into our 2010 crv we needed 8,000 dollars down knowing since we walked in we had nothing to put down. then they had the nerve to tell us that honda will let us lease a 2012 accord lx which was the lowest grade our 2008 honda accord is exl with navi. they said honda will let us walk out with a car that night for 400.00 after wasting 10 hours we wanted a crv and long story short we will never go back. our prior vehicle is a 2008 accord and we are 11,000 miles over and the general sales manager talked us out of buying out our lease and tried to put us into another vehicle. we were in a pickle and we knew it was going to be a tough time getting a car and something we could afford. so what happened was we ended up going to a different honda dealership and within 3 hours of waiting with paperwork and bank approvals i financed my husbands car which burried the 11,000 miles we owed and no one at honda causeway told us that that was even an option because they didnt care about customer satisfaction they were more concerned with making out with a deal.

Worst car buying experience of my life. I would rather walk then buy a car from Causeway Honda. They lied to me over and over again. They actually used, This deal is only good if you sign right now. Avoid Causeway Honda like a walker from the Walking Dead!!!!!

got a car a couple weeks ago and one week after I got it, it broke down on the highway near New York and I went through more than you can imagine trying to get it home,not to mention my girlfriend missing her flight and having to wait outside for hours on the hottest day of the year. There was a hole drilled into the cap of the coolant system, allowing it to increase the value, run smoothly for a short period of time, knowing it would cause over a thousand in damage, and could have seriously injured my girlfriend and I. I was led to believe the car was inspected and reliable. I would have never risked my life in a car that has not been inspected for safety and reliability, or I would have honestly gone through a private buyer. They will not help me at all because the car was "as is" so i traded me lexus in for it and a week after I have nothing!

Purchased a new vehicle from dealership. Car towed in at 14,000 miles due to oil compression engine problems. Using bandaids and run around, they continued this practice until car was out of warranty. Then they wanted to charge me to band aid again. I brought the car to another honda dealership and contacted corporate. Honda had to replace my engine at no cost due to my documentation of the ongoing problem with Causeway. Stay away from this place, especially service department. They do not care about customer service or satisfaction. Deceitful at best. Hamilton Honda is the very best.

The friendly and knowledgeable staff took the time to show my girlfriend and I several vehicles she was interested in and were able to answer all of our questions. We were given a lot of personalized attention without any pushy sales techniques. I own a vehicle that was purchased from another Causeway dealership several years ago and have had great experiences with their service staff. Causeway dealerships have always treated me well as a customer and provided my family with many quality vehicles.

I have been buying cars for a long time, and I can honestly say that this experience was by far the easiest, and best. From the time me, my husband, and our two kids entered the dealership, up until the time we left, it was completely painless! Our salesman Bryan was excellent. This dealership and Bryan really went the extra mile to make sure that we were happy. We were at Honda of Toms River earlier in the day, and they didn't want to give us any prices, and the salesman, and the sales manager, were arrogant, and made us feel like we were wasting there time. At Causeway, there was no haggling, no pressure, and our salesperson Bryan really took his time to show us the car, and the benefits of doing business with Causeway Honda (like the free oil changes for life). I strongly reccomend this dealership, and that you ask for Bryan!!!Susan and Bill

I inquired about financing through this dealership and received a call about an hour later from Nancy Rodriguez, one of the dealership's Internet representatives. She asked me what car model I was looking for; I said the Civic. She inquired about my budget and I told her I was not sure but would know soon. She then proceeded to ask me when I wanted to buy.. I told her the fourth of July weekend was my target date. She then said, "Well how can I help you?" I explained that I was still shopping around and was merely inquiring about potential financing through the dealership. Her next words really annoyed me when she said, quote, "Well I'm trying to help you but you're not providing me with any information. How can I help you?" ... Well, I already told you, I'm still shopping and looking for a Civic, but I won't know my budget until later. She kept repeating herself saying, "You need to provide me with information if you want me to help you", talking to me like I was an idiot. I hung up. Twenty minutes later I receive a voicemail from one of the managers asking me if he could help me. Sorry, no. As a potential customer looking to spend $XX,XXX on one of your vehicles, I'd appreciate not being talked to like an idiot by your rude Internet salespeople. I'm taking my business elsewhere. Go Nancy! Hope your bonus is better than the attitude you show your customers.
