I checked out a couple of cars on line that I thought I would like, went to the dealer, met Tom Stephens, what a very friendly & helpful salesman, told him what I was interested in, he told me thathe had sold the car new, it had been maintained & serviced regularly at Chesrown, he brought thecar up to the front door, told me to have fun driving it. It was too small for me, a Buick LaCrosse, SoI had him bring up a 2013 Chevrolet Impala. Drove it, loved it, bought it. Everyone at Chesrown wasvery friendly & helpful. Completely blown away on how terrible this dealership is!!!! Mario Palitto, tried to belittle me in the very worst way. I simple asked if a vehicle in stock was able to match a deal give by another store on a similar unit. Mario procceded to call me a dumb xxx and I had no clue what I was talking about. Further more was told to reevaluate what I knew about buying a vehicle. I'm completely blown away on how they have someone like this even on the staff. At the end of the day, I purchase elsewhere and will do my part in making sure everyone I know does not purchase any vehicles from this place.

Today 4/2/16 I went in for a oil change, of course a Saturday morning when everyone is getting their car serviced. I was told about a 2 hour wait. I told them I was pressed for time and couldn't wait. Jay over heard me and said he could get it done in a hour. Robert did the paper work up and as I signed I laughed and said your hour starts now. Robert came in the lobby and got me 35 minutes later and I was out the door. It's people like you that make life so much easier. Thanks guys for making my day. Georgann

Talked with Mike on Wednesday afternoon regarding a used vehicle we were interested in. After obtaining the information that he provided, we decided to pursue a trip to the dealership the following morning, as it is a 3 hour drive. We notified Mike that we would be leaving the following morning, for the trip to Columbus, he responded 'Great'. We also talked to the internet sales manager, and told him the same thing. We left the following morning, for the 3 hour trip, and text Mike that we were on our way. Halfway there we got a text and a phone call that the vehicle had been sold. Apparently Mike and the internet sales manager did not communicate with anyone that we were coming from out of town, or they just didn't care. We ask for a little gas reimbursement, and have yet to hear anything. We drove 100 miles, one way, just to be told the vehicle had been sold. We were ready to buy... On our way home, we stopped at a number of dealerships, and found a vehicle, paid cash.

Bad experience. Had some repairs done, took two days longer than what they said it will take and the memorandum title never came in 30 days so had to pay 18 dollars to get extended temp tags for 45 days, and to get a refund for the 18 dollars had to come back to the dealership AGAIN, that's twice in one day. Never again.

This could be a very long review, but I will shorten it by saying, this was the worst experience I ever had at a dealership!! Things went wrong from the very start and it just got worse. I did talk with one of the owners who was a very nice guy!!! He did his follow up as any smart business owner would however never offered up any chance of trying to work things out!! I would never recommend this dealership to anyone!!

Rob Brown met us at the door when we walked in on Sunday afternoon. I told him I was interested in a small SUV or crossover, and he immediately pulled together four vehicles for me to test drive. He answered questions, listened to what I wanted, provided insightful information, and respected my wishes. There was a car on lot, similar to what I want but overloaded. He did not push that car but instead found one several hundred miles away and got it in for me. He called several times to keep me informed of the process and made the experience very enjoyable. He was a trustworthy salesperson and I would recommend him to anyone in the market.

Called first too inquire about a vehicle online. By far the best prices and inventory I could find while Internet shopping. Spoke with Rob Brown. Super friendly and helpful. Went in later that day (over 1 hour drive from my home) and he had vehicles to my wants all picked out ready to show me. No pressure and honest customer service the whole time! Every single person I encountered there was friendly and helpful. Found exactly what I wanted and took it home that day. Well worth the drive. Amazing! Someone even asked me if I wanted a coffee or hot chocolate while I was waiting. Everyone there is so friendly from service desk, Virgil, to cashier. Took my 22 year old son in to buy a car, he was lied to buy the salesman as what the problem with the car was. He was told it was only a $40 O2 sensor. Come to find out nothing is wrong with the O2 sensor but it was 4 other problems. When we called the salesman back, after being hung up on 3 times, finally told sorry for your luck but you are stuck with the car. Even the sales manager told him the same thing. What a way to run a dealership, if you are only worried about making money maybe. Customer service is the worst I've ever seen. Stay as far away from this dealership as you can and do not ever trust anything they tell you.

Do not go anywhere near this dealership, they lie to a 22 year old and then don't want to take the car back or do anything about it. The dealership was the cleanest, nicest one we have been too so far. We are GM loyal and have been to quite a few. The people were helpful and patient and didn't try to sell something under our nose or take us less seriously b.c. we are younger and perhaps they didn't believe we could afford it. Yes, that happened elsewhere. Jeff Hopper did a great job especially in the patience department as we're were in there 2-3 times to test drive, look at and crunch numbers. In the end it worked out!!

I was offered a loaner car but I did not need one. I was told that parts needed to fix the car would not be there until the next morning. You probably hear this all the time, the labor was really expensive. I don't know what it takes to fix a leak in an air conditioner hose, but the labor seemed to be 4 times the amount of the part. I have been to some service shops that have vacuumed and washed my car when I have been back to pick my car up. Since I declined taking the loaner car, it would have been nice to have the car vacuumed and washed. Overall, the service was painless and easy to schedule an appointment, which is a plus. The technician was professional and courteous and did call me a few times to let me know about the charges upfront and also let me know know that that the rotors should be replaced, even though I did not take my car in for this. Although I did not get the rotors done at this time, it is appreciated that someone is really looking at your car, especially when you travel a lot for work.

I brought my Enclave in for oil change/tire rotation and had pre-scheduled my appointment. When I found out that there was a recall item needing attention, I agreed to have that taken care of, as well. I was told it would add an hour to an hour and a half for my wait. It ended up taking more than three and a half hours, but I totally enjoyed my time at Chesrown. Without exception, every employee who passed by in the waiting area stopped to inquire if I needed anything. Natalie was super nice and accommodating, as well. The repair to our 2011 Terain was easy/not time consuming, however due to an oversite in the Service Dept., we waited for about an hour, then asked at the desk why the service was taking too long. The writeup fellow got on the problem immediately, he found an error had been made in routing the vehicle to a service bay. He then pulled a courtesy vehicle in for us to continue on our afternoon appointments. We were very please as when we returned at about 5 PM our Terain was washed, and ready to go. Chesrown is the Best!

I routinely bring my vehicle to Chesrown for service. (Oil change, tire rotation, milestone maintenance). I cannot say that I've been overly impressed. This most recent visit, I had oil change, tire rotation, multi point Inspection and recall work done. When I reviewed he MPI report...there were no details--no brake pad width, no tire-tread, nothing...just that one was done. I spoke to Rich, who said that another MPI would be conducted AND recorded correctly when my vehicle is brought in for the recall repairs.

Everything about my visit went well. The recall issue was quickly fixed as well as the replacement of the tire pressure sensor. Virgil informed me that the sensor item was covered by warranty before it was replaced so I didn't have to ask if it would be covered. Everyone at the dealership was very friendly and the new location is great with a nice waiting area with fresh coffee and snacks while you wait. I know where I'll be buying my next vehicle.

I talked to service tech concerning an oil change for the next day around 4:50 in the afternoon and he told me that you were all booked up for the next day but suggested if I dropped it off in the night drop that they should be able to squeeze me in before the end of the day. I dropped it off that night and the following morning I was called before 9:30 AM that it was ready. I wasn't expecting a call until the end of the day so I was surprised that it was done so quickly. Greg Tibbets was very helpful in providing information about the cars we were interested in seeing. He called to followup on our visit to see where we were in the car shopping process. He did not pressure us. He answered our questions and demonstrated features of the sonic.. I called the dealership after finding the perfect car on cars.com. I called to check availability on the car and spoke with Aaron Keeran, he had it ready and waiting for me when I got there. He was very professional and personable and never pressured me or pushed me to purchase right then and there. He let me test drive on my own which was awesome as the day before I drove 5 different vehicles and 4 out of the 5 the sales agents came along and talked the whole time. Aaron sent me for my drive and that was that. I came back let him know I loved it , thst I was pre-approved & asked if we could quickly run the numbers because I had spent the day before test driving vehicles from 1-7p.m. & I didnt want to go through that again. I have had the same noises coming from my car for over 2 years. In the past, you would do minor adjustments and the noises would go away temporarily. This time I worked with Shane Cawley and told him I wanted someone to ride with me to listen to the noises to get to the bottom of problem since it seems to be getting much worse. I was told of several problems... power steering fluid leak and parts needing replaced, water pump leak and broken wheel stabilizers. At this point, I had just gone over my mileage for warranty. Shane was nice enough to review my account and offer a considerable discount towards fixing the problems. I was thrilled for the discount but also that someone took the time to find the problem and to fix it properly. Thank You Shane!

Service was excellent but need to make sure that supplies are available. I know that you just moved in but it is winter and you did not have my wiper blades in they would have to have been ordered. It is hard for me to make a second trip in for service with my busy schedule.I understand you have just moved but should have simple supplies in stock before you opened your new building. I had great experience at chesrown. My left side driver window was acting up whenever I tried to put it down. They fixed it no charge since I had a warranty with them since I bought my new car there. The only thing that was a little frustrating was that I dropped it off on a Thursday morning at 8 am. They told me they would call me later that day to give me an update on whether or not they would have to order a part and if they would be keeping my car for a day or so while they get the part in. Well I never heard from them, they didn't call me which I thought was odd. I called the next day, Friday, and they said they hadn't gotten to my car yet, but they would be after lunch and that they would call me and give me an update. Well once again I never got a call until Saturday saying it was ready to be picked up. I understand that you all are very busy, but saying you're going to call and give an update should mean that you're going to do just that. That was the only issue I had. Everything else was great and everyone was helpful in getting my window fixed. They even gave me a rental car which was good since they had my car for a few days.

My only disappointment, and that was with GM not the dealership, was having a car with a stick shift for a loner car which caused me a return visit. I had to return the following day and pick up a car with auto transmission. Haven't driven a stick for over 10 years and did not want to take the chance with a car not belonging to me. Why would they even have a stick in their courtesy car division?

I really liked the email access to set up an appointment. It even allowed me to note everything I needed checked so it was managed in one visit. The staff called to discuss in greater details my concerns prior to managing my service request. The drop-off and pick-up was made very convenient as well. The Cashier staff took my information over the phone so I was not limited to "office hours". We have 3 new Chevrolets from Chesrown and will continue to use them, although they are no longer next door to us. Worth the trip everytime!

I was in the market for a new Car. My old lease was ending, and there were 4 cars I thought I wanted to test drive. I contacted Tom Stephens at Chesrown, and let him know what I was thinking. He made one additional recommendation, then set a time for me to come in and do the test drives. He had them all ready for me at the appointed time, and spent plenty of time going through each. After that, I left to think about it and test drive a few other cars. Tom was courteous and patient with me as I peppered him with questions via email. When I decided to go ahead with the purchase, I set up a time to be there, they had the paperwork all prepared, and I was driving my new car within 30 minutes. Great experience and customer service.

He suggested that I get touch up paint to cover up my "dings" and even covered them for me, he advised me on the proper storage for the paint .The service was excellent, got my car in and out in a reasonable amount of time and explained all of the work that had been done.

My wife and I purchased a 2012 Chevy Sonic at Chesrown Chevrolet earlier this year (2013). We started to have a few weird symptoms that were intermittent and a little difficult to explain. The young man at the service counter was extremely thorough in helping us identify the root cause of the issues. Once the part was replaced they took it for a test drive and lo and behold the issues was not resolved. Instead of having us return the loaner can and driving a our car that was still acting funny they contacted Chevy directly and worked with them to resolve the issue. I have dealt with dealerships before and honestly I don;t like them. Chesrown is an entirely different story. These people actually care about their clients. Look, we drove from Beavercreek to Columbus to buy this car and we took it back to the same place to resolve this issue. Their service team has gone out of their way to minimize the disruption of our normal life whilst this issues is resolved. Let me be clear, I will use Chesrown again. Normally I tell people to not buy from dealers. Too much drama. Not here though. These guys are professional from the get go, all the way through to the end. I call that integrity. And any company that has this much integrity is bound to get my business again.

I had a couple of minutes of downtime at work and decided to get on my PC and browse around.. Please don't do this at work ; ) ... I stumbled upon the Chesrown, Delaware, OH site and found a huge selection of vehicles which fell right in our budget range. I did not contact the dealership instantaneously...I waited to get off work and pass by just to take a look but not actively shop for anything specifically because I did not think there was enough time and planning on my part to secure any type of vehicle...au contraire!!! I was approached by a fellow human being and not a "saleswoman/man"...and YES! There's a happy ending to this story....and guess what I walked out with? A lovely 2012 Chevy Cruze!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!..My wife did not believe it..and thought I was just horsing around because there was no way I got off work and was able to get such a nice vehicle and an awesome rate/price and walk out of there in no time. Seeing was really believing. There were hugs going around for everybody!! An experience of a lifetime! It was a pleasant surprise to know that some people/businesses still care and not only say it but show it and that's what counts. KUDOS to Dave and Ed!..just to mention a few, and everyone at Chesrown, Delaware, OH who played a part and had a hand in it....Thank You!

What a great place to buy a new car. Friendly staff in every department! I had my older (06) repaired here before selling it, and the service staff was great. They offer you beverages, muffins, waiting area was great. Salesman, Dave Edwards was really a super guy, answered all of my questions, friendly, just the type of salesman I enjoy dealing with! The service dept. was ready and waiting for me when I arrived around 6:30 am I drove car into the service area and it only took 5 minutes to write up the service work needed. The car was ready at the time agreed upon and an employee even escorted me to the office so I could pay my bill while another employee drove my car to just outside the service area. The car was clean and everything was just great. I definitely will return to Chesrown when I need to service my car again.

I had some issues with my credit and did not think I could be able to trade my 2004 in on a newer Impala. I also had to keep my monthly payment within my budget. Not only did the Sales Manager Glen make that happen but he showed me a 2011 Impala that had a remote starter, which thrilled me. We have purchased many (25) new cars over the last 42 years and have concluded that our recent purchase of a 2013 GMC Terrain Denali at Chesrown Buick Chevolet GMC was our best car-buying experience so far. The owner, Mr. Gill, is a hands-on dealer who had time for a long chat while the paper work was being processed. He even made me a cup of coffee BEFORE we got serious about the purchase. Sales rep - Mike Dunaway was the key to our purchase. He quickly solved some of what we considered obstacles to a sale. If you looked in the dictionary for the definition of the perfect car sales-rep you would see Mike's picture alongside the definition. Mike was very personable, with a absolutely no- pressure approach, and knew the answers to all our questions. He was able to accommodate us without having to visit the "man behind the curtain" for the ok. We negotiated a price that was fair to both seller and buyer.This car was a replacement for my wife's (Janice) VW Beetle but she says she feels more comfortable driving on a test drive if no sales rep is present. I'm sure some of the other dealerships' sales reps, who were required to ride along, thought it was strange that the vehicle was being purchased by Janice but not driven by her. Most dealerships require the sales rep to ride along for the test ride. Mike indicated he would accompany us if we wished, but it was up to us. We appreciate Chesrown's way of doing business!

I stopped in the dealership to make an appointment to have my current car serviced and passed by a beautiful blue chevy cruze and my heart melted. Mr. Dick Norris said jokingly, "I can put you in that" and 2 hours later I was cleaning my old car out and drove away in a beautiful blue chevy cruze. It was a very pleasurable experience. Our daughter was coming home from college for the weekend, her car needed service. I called the service department and talked to Tom, he said drop it off and he would have it finished on Saturday. She dropped it off at 2 pm on Friday and Tom called at 5 pm stating it was done. We have four cars and they are all serviced at Chesrown. My husband and I found a 2012 GMC Acadia online at Chesrown as well as another in the Cleveland area. We are about an hour from Cleveland and an hour and a half from Chesrown. We contacted both dealerships and when we called Chesrown we were connected with Tom S.. He was extremely pleasant and was very eager to sell to us. After negotiating on the price over the phone we made the hour and a half trip down with two children under two. We arrived there about an hour before close and test drove and purchased the car within the hour. The service was pleasant and speedy and Tom S. seemed to know a lot a about the vehicle. If I had more time and no screaming children Tom S. I am sure would have been glad to show me all of the vehicles features. The only downfall about my purchase was that they did not fill up my gas tank. Luckily I had enough to make it home but the gesture would have solidified me purchasing from them again. All in all though, a great experience.

We live in Charleston West Virginia and I found this vehicle over the internet after a lot of research its to the T of what I wanted. Called the dealership spoke with Mike who was beyond nice. Even offered to meet me half way of my 3 and a half hour drive during the week since I work all week. Well we decided to go down Saturday since it was a nice day. Woke up to a message from Mike if I was coming and the vehicle was still available. So we finally got there vehicle waiting out front for us to test drive. They gave me a great price for my car and treated us great! Plus the price of the buick enclave was a great price too. I'm more then satisfied with my purchase and experience. And when it is time for a new car (which will hopefully be awhile) I will most certainly check them out first since they were very helpful and friendly. Highly recommend!

After going to a local dealership to find the perfect GMC Terrain for me, I was disappointed that they weren't listening to exactly what I wanted. Then I found Chesrown on cars.com and contacted them although they were almost an hours drive away. I immediately connected with Tom S. and after a couple conversations, he found the right vehicle and a great deal for me! I actually bought the car sight unseen! When I arrived at the dealership, my car was clean, gassed up, and ready to go. Paperwork process was easy with the finance mgr and I even met the owner. It wasn't the best night to be out looking at cars but Joe was out in the rain so I could look at cars and he was there to answer any question, getting keys and lic. plates so I could test drive the Equinox. A great experience when buying my first new car. I was very hesitant and a very cautious buyer who did plenty of research prior to my purchase. We have two great experiences to share: My mother-in-law was looking for a new vehicle, and with the recent passing of her husband, this was her first time ever purchasing a vehicle on her own. The experience couldn't have been more pleasant, and she is very satisfied with her vehicle, how she was treated, and especially with their offer to buy her trade-in from her in order to much more simply facilitate a planned purchase by another couple. They were coming in from out of state to purchase her vehicle, but the BMV process was a bit more complicated, plus they were closed on the day they were to arrive. The Team at Chesrown volunteered to help with the deal - frankly making that part of the transaction far more simple for my mother-in-law and for the couple who drove in to purchase her vehicle. My wife and I were so impressed with the customer service that my mother-in-law received that we decided there was no time like the present to purchase a new vehicle of our own. The test drives, the trade-in and the entire experience was as smooth as we've ever experienced, and we frankly can't imagine ever shopping anywhere else for any future vehicles. We will be and in fact already have recommended this dealership to anyone that is in the market for a new (or used) vehicle as they demonstrated the utmost professionalism and friendliness we've ever encountered at a dealership.

It's well worth the drive for service too because it is so much easier to drive North to Delaware than to go to the alternative in Columbus. They do really care about the customer. They had an automatic 2006 Chevy Cobalt Coupe with 76,000+ miles posted online for $7,999. I called and said Id be in to look at it from Columbus. It was a long and beautiful drive up to Delaware to find the car sitting out front with dealer tags for our test drive. I liked it the steering was very tight; the car was a struggle to turn right... which could have been a few different things. The odds of finding that perfect car are slim, so I expected there to be something. When I got back to the dealership I walk in and find our salesman and ask him to follow me outside. I show him the car I drove there in, a Monte Carlo I tell him I purchased from this dealership two years earlier. I understand that the dealership has to make their money, which is why my offer of $1,500 down, with a total purchase price of $6500 plus taxes, fees, and title is more than reasonable for a car of this year, make, and condition, and I want to assume a dealership knows it, regardless that the salesman isnt in the position to accept or decline the offer.We go back in and I sit waiting for a credit approval for forty-five long minutes. The salesman comes back and says I was approved and sends me in to see the credit specialist. There, I am told congratulations on the car my payments are $180/month over 60 months. Since we had not agreed on a price yet, he could not have worked out a monthly payment. I am told the price of the car is $7300 (plus tax and title ($8100)). This kind of unscrupulous practice was the subject of an ABC 20/20 report. Essentially, the credit specialist added the taxes, fees and title onto my offer of $6500 - which brought it to $7300, which was correct, but then the taxes, fees and title were added again. After I brought to his attention that my offer was actually $6500 plus taxes, fees and title, he became noticeably defensive. He informed me that he does not work with price, and left to grab the head of sales, who comes in five minutes later and sits down next to him with a packet detailing all the money they had in the car - to reinforce the price point the credit specialist had already tried. But here's the thing... this car was a trade-in. If I accept a self-produced, four-page list of repairs and conditioning, then it means that Chesrown deemed this car in poor- to-fair condition when they acquired it. Given the Cobalts unimpressive performance, that could very well be the case. I went to this dealership with my girlfriend of two years - who is 20 yrs. old - no credit - to guide her through the buying process after another driver hit her, and her previous car was declared a total loss. I feel like I should have brought my step-father in there with us, because I believe they tried to take advantage in several different ways because they perceived us as inexperienced and impressionable. We returned home empty-handed and regretted going there even more after I learned that the Chesrown location on Rt. 23 has had 22 complaints filed against them with the Oho Attorney General's office since 3/22/2005, and of those... 7 mirror my experience, which indicates that mis-representation and high-pressure sales may be a Chesrown practice. In addition, the Better Business Bureau website reports that this particular Chesrown has had no rating at least once in the past because of a Government Action for failure to disclose and false advertising, among other things. (As of 10/12)Be mindful that I believe they might operate under the logic that anyone who sees past a 98%+ positive online review rate, they don't want coming in. All in all, we weren't meant to get that car, and we've since found one that was more reasonably priced for her budget from a more straightforward organization.

My fiance and I were interested in a new SUV, preferably the 2013 GMC Terrain. I emailed Tom Stephens in regards to what my fiance's trade in value would be and what the current availability was on a new Terrain. He immediately responded and within days we went to see him. Once we arrived there, he was not the typical "pushy" car salesman, he was all smiles and as accomoddating as he could be. We test drove the Terrain, and decided to look around before deciding. The GMC Terrain is a beautiful SUV inside and out, and with the incredible customer service we received what else could we ask for? We went back and Tom had everything ready for us, SUV filled and detailed and we were in and out in a matter of 90 minutes. We absolutely LOVE our new GMC Terrain, and couldn't have had a better experience!

I went in feeling like my idea of getting a new car was a little unrealistic. I traded my 09 Malibu .... And left in a 2013 Malibu, upgraded with no money down! They worked with me all day and made it possible for me to do this. Everyone I worked with was great! I even had my son with me and they all were so great with him and to him. I went to this dealership because I had bought my GMC Terrain there in December of 2010. I always take it back to where I bought it.I took my Terrain in for an oil change. My salesman (Tom Stephens) always provides me with a vehicle to drive while mine is being serviced. This is so convenient for me, since I usually go to lunch while my vehicle is being serviced. Tom provided me with a Chevy Cruze.The service department called me within 45 minutes after I dropped my vehicle off to inform me that my Terrain was ready to go. They are always very efficient and expeditious in their service.When I returned to pick up my Terrain I was so impressed with the Chevy Cruze, that I asked Tom to figure what my Terrain would be worth on a trade in on a Chevy Cruze. The appraiser drove my Terrain and gave the exterior a very good inspection. He returned to the dealership within 25 minutes. Tom, came back to me with a quote in 10 minutes.The offer was so GREAT, that I told Tom, to write it up. The sale was handled very expeditiously and professionally. The finance guy Kevin was courteous, knowledgeable, and professional. He had us in and out in less than a hour. I would recommend this dealership to anyone looking for courteous, caring and professional people to deal with. I have met both Jim and Ryan Gill, and they are what makes this dealership so special.Good job Tom Stephens, Kevin (finance), and Jim and Ryan Gill.Chesrown Chevy, Buick, GMC in Delaware is the place to go for a GREAT buying experience.

I first visited Chesrown GMC service department about 2months after I purchased my 2009 Cadillac Escalade ESV from them for a low tire pressure issue. At this visit, the advised me that I had a bad valve stem on one tire and a nail in my other tire which they said that they patched. Well, 2 days later I started getting low tire pressure signal again. I took my Escalade to Bob Summerall Tires and was shown where Chesrown GMC had put a " rope plug" on my tire. Chesrown also did not fix the other tire which needed a new bead seal! The next time I visited the service deparment at Chesrown GMC for a issue with the passenger sideview mirror...I was told that I needed a whole new sideview mirror. I advised them that I had an extended warranty on the Escalade and gave them the information to call the warranty company to get the approval for the repair. After not hearing from anyone at Chesrown, I called them to ask what was going on and was told that they called my warranty company did not cover my sideview mirror because it was an optional item because it folded, and they do not cover folding mirrors. I was upset and decided to call the warranty company to see what was going on and was told that they had not yet been contacted by the dealership or anyone for that matter! I really did not appreciate being lied to, as I knew that the mirror was covered! Well, finally after 2 weeks of the run around I finally got the mirror replaced HOWEVER it was not painted correctly and was mismatched to my Escalade! So, after I talked to Jay, the service department manager, he told me to bring it back and I would get a loaner car while the mirror issue was being fixed. Since my Escalade was in need of new wiper inserts and an oil change I asked them to take care of those things while they had it there. I picked up my Escalade 3 days later on a bright and sunny day! The next morning it was raining and as I left with my 2 children in the back seat to go to soccer games, I turned on my windshield wiper blades and low and behold they did NOT work! Hmmmmm, they were working perfectly fine before they changed the inserts!! I took my Escalade back to the service department, in the rain, with my 2 children and was told that the motor was burned out for the windshield wipers! I was furious when they said that it wasnt their fault and it was sheer coincidence! Please beleive me that I would not reccommend this dealership to anyone! Horrible Horrible Horrible! There is something wrong going on there at Chesrown GMC in Delaware Ohio! I am assuming that they must have their friends and family members writing all of the bogus rave reviews!

I just test drove an 06 Tacoma at Chesrown. The vehicle was dirty and the "maint required" light came on as soon as I pulled out of the dealership. I seriously doubt the vehicle had undergone a vehicle inspection as described. I would HIGHLY suggest having a mechanic check the vehicle before you buy. Salesmen shrugged his shoulders when I told him about it.

We told Ed what we had down and where we needed to be as far as payments, and he not only met our criteria, he beat it by far! Joe and the others at Chesrown were very good to work with. No pressure or pushy sales. Joe met us on the lot while browsing. After telling him what we were looking for he had several cars brought out to show. When we arrived back at the dealership from our ttest drive, we were encourgad to drive others with differenet features. Even when we had interest in another vehicle type there was no resistnace. Again, Joe brought out several for us to drive. All in all the deal was more than easy to make with no haggle or long drawn out sales pitch. We also met the general manager Ryan who was very easy to talk with. We told him it was probably the friendlist car buying experince we ever had. We definetly will return, recommending Joe and Chesrown to others. Highly reommended by us.

He was very knowledgeable about the car and was able to answer all of my questions. Tom and the rest of the team at Chesrown were top notch. Our old truck was traded in for a better than expected value. Our new truck was purchased at a negotiated price, a fair one at that. We visited and called several dealers before our first test drive co-ordinated with Tom and indeed were treated as tire kickers- never once did I feel Tom didn't want to answer our questions or that he didn't consider us actual buyers. We bought a GMC which are available all over town, we bought from Chesrown because from the cashier to the owner there was a real sense of team work and friendship. I am confident the service on our truck will be handled in much the same way. Tom gave a quick tour of the shop and introduced us to the service team, this is where the majority of our business with Chesrown will take place and I enjoyed the fact that there was a feeling of team from the sales to the service side of the dealership. I am extremely satisfied with our experience buying a car from the Chesrown Family and I know we will be repeat customers!

Very dissatisfied with this Dealership. We had just moved here from MN and wanted to find a dependable dealer that we could continue to use. We went to Chesrown for some warranty work on the paint on our vehicle. Should have known not to use this dealership since they do not have their own body shop. When the vehicle came back from the body shop, it had overspray on the entire vehicle. The body shop nor the dealership even washed the vehicle. Chesrown said that they could not wash the vehicle due to the new paint. That was a lie as the body shop sais there would be no reason that the vehicle could not have been washed. When we called in and asked to talk to the Manager, we were not able to talk to him. Instead, Tom said that he would talk to Jay and then get back to uswellit has been a couple of weeks and still no contact. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP AS WHEN YOU HAVE ANY SERVICE PROBLEM IT LOOKS LIKE THEY WILL NOT GET BACK TO YOU. THEY DO NOT WANT TO DEAL WIT PROBLEMS!!

Had purchased a few vehicle there with aspecial salesperson that we liked and respected. He has since passed away and the last vehicle was purchased from Mills in Richwood (also very close to home). My son and my father picked out a 98 Honda Accord las week and drove it home. They drove it in the rain for the test drive and home. I was out of town for a few days when my son called and said it looked like the car never got checked over for a safety inspection. Of course this is after the weather cleared. The tires are severly dry rotted, the rear brakes are griniding and sparking, the brakes are meshy and on top of that there is no working horn. I requested a return call from the dealer and they have not returned my calls or web chat. The car is not safe to drive and should not have been sold without correction to make it street legal.I finally contacted them a couple of days later, and talked to the original sales rep. regarding the situation and they loaned my son another car and took care of the brakes and horn. I wasn't sure what to expect but they aknowledged the sale and safety needs and took care of the problem, this all happening over a week after it was purchased. I change my tone, Chesrown does take care of their customer on used cars. Everyone pulled together and took care of it. They do a better job over other dealers that we have had problems with. I would now recommend them.

I HATE car shopping and dealing even more. Both Dick and Steve appreciated this and made my experience completely painless. I wasn't sure what I wanted so they asked questions to help narrow my search and then were patient while I checked out several options. Once I determined exactly what I wanted they located it for me and made it happen! They even welcomed my kids with popcorn and water to keep them entertained while I signed paperwork. We stopped in to look at a used PT Cruiser that I had found online and had done an instant chat with Brad V. I set up a time to test drive and my Husband & I went in on Sat. When we pulled in, another vehicle caught our eye. We checked out the PT, and didn't like it. So, we asked Brad about the Minivan, and he said it had just come in. First time doing business with Chesrown, and first GM vehicle. The actual deal and vehicle were fine. Less than 48 after purchase, an issue arises with the rear door glass. The response from Chesrown was that this issue was after the sale and not dealership's problem. I do not agree. No follow-up from dealership on the three emails sent to me requesting feedback. This dealership taought me a valuable lesson, do not take delivery of your new/used car/truck until you have done as thorough an inspection of vehicle as you can as you will be "stuck" with any issue that dealership deems to be not there responsibilty, legally.I made one purchase at Chesrown In Delaware Ohio and it is the only purchase I will make there. Too bad this dealership was not one of the hundreds that were shuttered during GM bankruptcy

Recently, I purchased a new 2011 GMC Acadia AWD from the dealership listed above. The experience was great, but please allow me to explain how we arrived at this dealership.My wife and I started looking for new vehicles as our lease on a 2008 Jeep Grand Cherokee was coming to an end. My wife and I have a family member that is employed by Chrysler, so pricing was definitely was going to be better for us. (So we thought)After making contact with several Chrysler dealerships, we were greatly disappointed in the pricing they were giving us, even with employee pricing. We left the dealerships in disgust and decided we would go to a GM dealership and renew our search.We went to Chesrown GMC in Delaware, Ohio and decided we would look at a Buick and GMC Acadia. It was late in the afternoon and we were greeted by Mike Dunaway. We told him what we were looking for and my wife and I ended up looking at a Buick Regal. What we failed to realize at the time was the dealership was closing for the evening. However, Mr. Dunaway was eager to show us a vehicle. He was very polite and kind to us as well as to our two five-year-old girls. We made arrangements to return to the dealership later in the week and test drive a Buick Regal and GMC Acadia.About a week later we returned to the dealership. Mr. Dunaway allowed us to test drive a Buick Regal and GMC Acadia. We really liked the GMC Acadia, so I told Mr. Dunaway what I wanted as far as options and asked if he could find one since the dealership did not have a model with options that I wanted. A few days later, Mr. Dunaway contacted me and indicated he found a GMC Acadia with the options I wanted. He presented me with the total cost of the vehicle which included rebates. Based upon those figures, my wife and I decided we would purchase the GMC Acadia AWD. On the day we purchased the vehicle, everything went very smoothly as I expected and my wife and I drove home in a 2011 GMC Acadia.I had several bad experiences with Chrysler Dealerships and their inability to meet the needs of our family in what vehicle we wanted. Thankfully, we met Mr. Dunaway and he made the entire process very simple and stress-free. Even my girls were happy after Mr. Dunaway provided them with popcorn and cookies!

I have never been treated so well, with the upmost respect and courtesy. I will be a life long customer as well as recommend it to everyone looking for vehicles used/ new. As soon as I walked in I was greeted by Dick Norris and he helped me right away, the process was smooth and he treated me like family. I was looking for a vehicle to replace my SUV that was better on gas mileage and a overall better car. I had gone to one other dealership and they could not work out anything with the loan I had on my other car. I decided to put in an online credit application with Chesrown and was immediately called back the next day. I wasn't looking for a brand new vehicle but was approved for one- the Malibu was exactly what I had in mind. I was very pleased with how smooth everything went and how they were not pushy at all. I will go back to Chesrown for my next vehicle and recommend them to any one.

I have purchased three different trucks from Plaza/Chesrown GMC Dealer and they have always found what I was looking for. I really enjoyed working with Steve as he was very knowledgable and found a truck that met my needs, except for those wheels!!. The sales staff are not pushy, but are very interested in exactly what you are looking for in a vehicle and the price that works within your budget. Mr. Bowers was very knowledgeable and helped us get everything and morein our purchase at the price and financing we were looking for. He evenwent so far as to watch and amuse our 17 month old son, so my wife and Icould finish paperwork for the financing of the vehicle. What started outas a mere visit so my wife could test drive the Traverse to see if she'd becomfortable driving it, turned into 6 or 7 hr day that concluded with usdriving away with our first brand new vehicle. I have given the highest ratings because of the effort put into dealing with me in an honest and forthright manor, by the men mentioned above. Brad made every effort to find a car that would fit into my budget. Initially, I worked with Tom Stephens; at that time, it did not appear that we could come to terms on a replacement vehicle for my older car. The final proposal was a 39-month lease that was very slightly more than my present payments, as well as paying off the existing note on my car.

The reasons I was so pleased are: I had requested a quote by email and they were so kind to get back to me right away. I explained what options I wanted and they found the car with those options, which happen to be the only one in the area. They called, got the car, called me told me they had the car had it all cleaned up. I went that evening signed the papers and was on my way. The salesman was very friendly, answered all my questions. I had did alot of research ahead of time so I knew exactley what I wanted. The finance gentleman was also very nice he explained everything I was signing.

Very good overall buying experience. No pressure, worked to meet my needs, very accomodating. I was disappointed with my trade value as it was $1200 less than quoted just a few weeks ago. I understand the market changes and conditions vary; however, that was a bit of a irritant. In the big picture $1200 didn't make a difference and salesman made up some of the difference so all worked out.

Three Strikes Youre Out!! Not with Chesrown of Delaware!! This was the third trip to a car dealership in several weeks, but the 1st visit to Chesrown. I wont bother wasting any of my time at any other dealership for my next vehicle. The best experience ever in a car showroom, phone conversations, and online dealership. When we left, my husband stated how smooth everything went. Chesrown staff was professional yet friendly, no pressure. I would highly recommend Chesrown and Ryan Gill. I shopped around for over a month and when I stepped into Chesrown's showroom I felt welcomed and was treated like a person, not another sale. I can't say that for some of the "big box" dealers I visited. Chesrown is a family owned business and offers personalized service from the owners to salespeople like Joe and Dick. I was very specific with regard to model, color and options and they followed up and were able to deliver on the exact car. I'm not found of the Mega Dealerships, and usually enter a dealership with the same feeling as going to the dentist. But Chesrown has that small town personality and customer service that makes dealing comfortable. I was more than pleased with the trade I made for a new Lacrosse and I look forward to returning for my service work. Good dependabnle service. Honest, don't try and sell me a service I don't need. I pass two other Buick dealerships to have mine done at Chesrown in Delaware. Glad to call them friends. One of the dealerships sold me a "new" car with a damaged door, never made an adjustment to fix or replace. Would never have anything to do with them again. Another tried to sell me part that were or were not under warrenty (depending on which "manager" you talked to. Won't have anything to do with them either. I have found a reliable dealership and will travel the extra mile to have sales and service!

This dealership has a home town feel in central Columbus. With price these days not a factor anymore as most dealerships are equally priced. The deciding factor is service. Chesrown has the friendly service figured out. From the initial test drive to delivery, every employee even the sales associates not working with us were beyond friendly. We test drove our vehicle on Sunday and wanted to sleep on it before making our decision. Joe stayed 3 hours after to meet with us Monday evening not knowing if we were going to make a purchase or not. I would and have recommended them to others.

Mr. Mason talked with me about their service and said he would appreciate my business. So, I followed up and made an oil change appointment for our 2010 Acadia. What an delightful experience purchasing our 2010 GMC Acadia from Chesrown and Mike DunawayBeing a two car family we have purchased eight vehicles over the last twenty years. I am experienced at researching the vehicles I consider purchasing. I have always shopped around for the vehicle I wanted to get the best deal so I have experienced most of the sales tactics used in the competitive automobile sales business.We did not feel the pressured into making the purchase. We described our needs and asked a lot of questions that were answered promptly and honestly. We were given a fair price for the Acadia we selected and make a reasonable counter-offer which was accepted. When we finalized the paper work the next day we were credited with another rebate we didn't even know existed.When we picked up the Acadia the next day Mike very patiently went through all the features of the new vehicle showing us how everything worked. He followed up with a couple of phone calls to see if we had any problems or questions. When we had questions about the functioning of the heater/AC system he came to our house to show us how it worked.We appreciated the phone call from Mr. Gill thanking us for purchasing our Acadia from Chesrown.Again, Mike, thank you for a pleasurable experience. Most of my experiences with a car dealership are usually less than pleasant. This experience was different. The miniute I walked into the door I was placed with a salesman who was pleasant,informative and most importantly not pushy. I didn't have to spend hours trying to work a deal. Two months ago I was shopping for a new truck, I compared several dealerships and other online sources and was having trouble finding exactly what I wanted. The guys at Chesrown were amazing to work with and found me the exact truck I wanted, with the mileage I wanted, in the right color and all the right features which Im not sure how they did it. They had the truck ready to go two days later. After driving it for several weeks I had a problem and was worried because it was out of warranty but they took a look and fixed the problem at no additional cost. Best used car experience I've ever had in my life.

All I can say is WOW. The entire process was virtually seemless. My salesman, Ryan Gill, made my family and I feel right at home- he even brought his dad (owner Jim Gill) to congratulate us on our new Pontiac G8 - which we LOVE.
