I first went to CCDJR 5 years ago just because I wanted a new car and had been to multiple dealerships where I walked around the lots and not one person approached me to ask if they could help me. So, on a whim, I went to CCDJR - I wasn't really thinking about a Jeep, but I stopped anyway. Tom (Caforio) came out immediately and asked what I was looking for and I told him I wasn't sure and wasn't sure what I could afford. He asked me a few questions and said, well, let's see what we can do for you. So, he went and talked with Darin and came back out a few minutes later and said that they could put me in a Jeep Liberty. (I was looking at the Grand Cherokee, lol). They told me this is what you can afford right now and that they didn't want to see me get in over my head. I really appreciated that. So, when I was looking for an upgrade, I went right back to see Tom. This time I got a Jeep Compass. Again, they told me what I could reasonably do, knowing that I was working toward a Grand Cherokee. I liked the Compass, but not as much as the Liberty so I went back to seee Tom again to see what I could do and decided on a Cherokee. The same day we made the deal, I had a little "incident' with the Compass. I was so worried that it was going to ruin the deal. I drove right back to the dealership and the guys all talked, looked at what I had done to the Compass and all agreed to we were still good to go. I couldn't believe it! So, I got the Cherokee which I absolutely loved and I just traded it last night after 2 years for my Grand Cherokee that I have wanted since the first day I walked on the lot 5 years ago. Tom, Ken, Gregg, Darin and Nate all worked together to make it happen. Thank you all. CCDJR has got a customer for life. The sales and finance team go out of their way to make sure everything is done right and the service department is one of the best I've ever been to. I used to dread taking vehicles in for service because it was so impersonal and just a chore. Now, I enjoy my service visits - because I get to hang out with the whole team while I'm there.

I went to the dealership not having to trade my car but being in a situation where if I could I would. I met Matt when I walked in and explained my situation. He immediately said "let's see what we can do". So we started talking and figuring out what I needed, what I wanted, what was necessary and what I could live without, plus stay within my budget. By the time we were done I had a brand new Jeep Compass with everything I wanted, including my second choice color which they got from a different dealership. They worked with me and my needs, never pressured me to take more than I wanted, made important suggestions and made me a very happy customer. My experience was the best I have ever had buying a car. Matt kept things relaxed and was able to joke with me as we bartered. A few days later I went back with my son to look at trucks. We worked with Matt and Mason. Again another very positive experience made fun by these two gentlemen. My son ended up buying a new used truck as well. I recommend this dealership 100%. If you want a relaxing experience with people who work with you and help you get what YOU want then this is where you want to go.

I will start for taking part of the blame for not speaking up to ask for things I should have and for not asking for a different salesman. Since the salesman did not offer, I should have asked to test drive the Jeep on my own. Salesmen must know that it is uncomfortable to test drive a vehicle with them. I imagine it must be uncomfortable them. Again, I blame myself for not asking. Had an uneasy feeling the entire time and again, I should have left or asked for another salesman. I must be used to a larger dealership because my idea of a loaner car and this dealership's is different. Having to take my new car in for service, I was told they don't have "loaner" cars. Instead you have to fill out a rental form and provide a credit card. Really? I suppose it has happened, but do people leave their brand new car with you for service and then leave with a crappy Dodge Dart "rental" car and not come back? Or is it to make sure the "rental" is brought back with gas? Never, ever have I been asked to do this. I chose a local dealership. I should have stuck with a larger, even if not local" outfit. Although I was under the impression that a local, smaller dealership would treat their customers better, I do NOT feel that way at all. I believe larger dealerships have treated me much better and perhaps it is because they are bigger that they are able to do other things for their customer that smaller dealerships can't - like provide a loaner car without having to pay for it. I was also told I couldn't drop off my new car for service on the night I had wanted because they only have one "loaner" car. Really? I've also been contacted by my salesman when dealing with other dealerships. Not once have I been contacted. I'm guessing because all this vehicle has been for me is a headache. I would NEVER, EVER recommend this dealership and I will never purchase another car from them and hope to stop others from making the same mistake.

Tom Cafario was helpful in explaining the vehicle to my family. When we had questions he was patient to respond. Once we knew what we wanted, the turnaround for delivery was under 24 hours. So far we are very pleased.

All around superior experience with Cortland Chrysler Jeep In Cortland, New York. Tom will fix you up with a great deal. Darin makes all the paperwork simple. AND their Service Department is a Superior Plus - Dan, Ron, and Cole . and the working staff are great to work with. - they go the "extra mile" in scheduling appointments and fixing/repairing problems and keep the customer happy. You will find comfortable chairs thru out their building in both sales and waiting room with a TV. Overall would rate them a 10 Star Plus dealership.

I told him what I wanted for my trade in and what I wanted in a new truck and it took about 10 minutes to make a sale. This was the best car buying experience I have had in 40 years! My son was interested in a Dodge Ram truck, had researched what he wanted and had spoken with Matt Johnson on the phone to see if they had the truck he was interested in. When we came to the dealership, we worked with Mason Padron, who was very helpful.I liked the fact that we were dealt with straight forward, I didn't feel like I was playing a game like I have at other dealerships.We knew the price we could work with, and Mason made it happen. We picked the car up today and Darin closed the deal quickly with no hidden surprises. Chris went over the truck and its functions and away we went. Our deal was quick, painless, and these guys did right by us compared to another dealer we went to a little bit ago. The friendly staff made sure all questions were answered. Our salesman was a really good guy, and the Internet sales guy we contacted over the phone was attentive. I came into the shop with a limited budget and specific vehicle requests. Ken and his sales team treated me with dignity and like family as soon as I walked through the door. They presented me with several options and displayed a great deal of patience when I needed time to "think about it". In the end I chose leasing a brand new car - yes, me in a brand new car. The payment fit my budget perfectly and I walked out of there feeling like I got a good deal. It seemed to me that the Sales team focused more on the quality of a sale rather than their quantity of sales - which made the experience more personal to me. They just earned a recurring customer.

This is the first vehicle I've purchased from Cortland Chrysler and even though it was a Chevy I bought I am very impressed with the vehicle so far. I purchased my 4th Jeep from Tom Caforio. I had three Wranglers, and now have the 2015 Jeep Renegade....LOVE it!! I purchased a new 2012 compass in September 2012. The clock has neve kept time. They replaced it ince and told me if that didn't work, there was nothing else they could do. Tom Caforio sold me the car. I spoke to him first, then wrote letters to corporate. The warranty will be up in September. I know that a clock is not a big deal but a clock was part of the cost for the car.......this one has never held the time.....never.... I shop in Cortland to help the local economy but not having anyone care aboit the clock, is disappointing.

I purchased my 2014 dodge dart from them in July 2014 with 44miles on it. First thing we noticed was a horrible loud screech or squealing when you Excellerated. We were originally told that was normal. Finally my fiancee contacted them and told them this wasn't normal. First time in shop they found nothing wrong could not duplicate noise. Second time in shop they replaced transmission. Third time in shop (same issue) they replaced complete exhaust system. All this was before 1500miles. The loud squealing screeching noise went away but not completely. We took it back in because the car got extremely loud it sounds like a diesel engine running and it shakes at highway speeds. We were told that nothing was wrong and they could no longer help us. So here I am with a car that sounds horrible, shakes at highway speeds (sometimes), also because after they did the transmission they didn't do an alignment it now needs an alignment as it pulls, new brakes, new calipers, new tires, and new rotors. It also is leaking or burning oil (pretty sure burning). You can not turn the AC on anymore as it goes through gas an extremely high rate. You cant use the manual shifting as it will slam into gears when you shift. This car has less than 7k miles on it. We will never be going back to here to buy a vehicle again. We are stuck with a car that junk and a lemon that is way over priced as its value dropped $14k in less than a year. Very very disappointed in this dealership and Chrysler in general. I do hope they decide to make it right but we have been trying to get somewhere with Chrysler for months with no luck.

The young man I dealt with was attentive, asked good questions and was responsive when I needed him. He took his time to explain features on the vehicle. I knew while walking from my car and into the dealership for the first time, I would be returning from Long Island to make the purchase as we had to locate my 2015 Cherokee Limited. traded wrangler unlimited for a more comfortable grand Cherokee. deal went well as expected. after few days of ownership of grand Cherokee noticed tire cracking all 4 tires. a few more days felt the vehicle just was not right as far as handling, ride quality. doing 65 mph on freeway going over some rough spots the vehicle was hopping in the rear causing me to white knuckle the steering for control. well I was convinced that wasn't normal for the grand Cherokee. when I got home I got under the vehicle and noticed both rear shocks were wet/leaking fluid. shocks no good wouldn't you say? dealership ordered 2 rear shocks. I discussed issue with mgmt. and was assured they would do something for me and the vehicle should have been inspected better. well, as the new shocks were being installed, mgmt. told me the old shocks were leaking but were not broke??? (I'm still figuring that out). they said they would take care of labor and I the parts, tax-($206.)(geeze thanks, after spending $25k) now I learn that the grand Cherokee, according to a carfax report had been in a FRONT IMPACT accident/ damage. would never know it by the looks of the vehicle, however if/ when I trade it, trade values will be hurt big time. if I had seen or been told of prior damage I would have not purchased. (geeze thanks, dealership must have been aware of prior damaged vehicle). ADVISE--ASK FOR CARFAX AND A FULL INSPECTION, keep up the good work corland Chrysler. nuf said

I was in the market for a used Mazda 6 and Cortland Chrysler happened to have one available. We arrived on a rainy Saturday and were met by Chris Henry. It's not everyday you can lay your head down at the end of the long day and say to yourself while falling to sleep, "Someone bent over backwards to make my dream come true today"....but that is totally what happened for me at Cortland Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram! I walked in with high hopes and left there feeling pampered, well taken care of and pleased. Realistically....I didn't think what I was attempting was possible. I wanted....no dreamed of owning a 2014 Dodge Avenger! But the kicker was I had equal desire for a very low car payment with no money down and a super crappy, old trade-in! It wasn't looking very promising....But Chris, Darin... everyone... worked their magic and before I knew it is I was driving away in my "Dream Car"!!!!!!!!! The best part of the whole thing is....my payment is actually without a doubt unbelievable!!! It is something I can totally afford and not have to feed my family of 4 ( plus 1 dog, 1 cat and 3 fish) hot dogs and Kraft mac-n-cheese for life! I am and will always be amazed that this worked out for me!!! So if you need to get a new car and you are thinking that it is not gonna be possible....go the Cortland Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram, and you may have your car dreams come true just like me! : )

I had been looking to buy a Dodge for a while and visited this dealership upon recommendation of my good friend. I am so glad that I did! The price was right, Chris was very helpful, and I am loving my new Charger! The car was up at their sister location, and I didn't even have to drive up to Syracuse to try it out, they brought it right to me. I won't be needing another car for a while, but I would most definitely recommend this dealership to anyone looking for a car. They are willing to go above and beyond to make everything right.

I had an accident and my vehicle was totaled. I had been looking for another Hyundai Santa Fe on the internet and saw that there was a Tuscon at the dealership I sent an email and it was answered almost immediately. I made arrangements to take a test drive and met Tom Caforio there. He allowed us to test the vehicle but it was not to our liking. Tom did not give up he asked us what our price range was and pointed out a number of vehicles in that range. I was looking over his shoulder at his list of used cars and saw a Grand Caravan that was right in the range. My wife and I test drove it and fell in love. It was great. The only problem was waiting for the insurance settlement. That was not a problem. they allowed us to hold the van with a hundred dollars. They set up the financing and even had their body man fix a ding in the rear bumper where the previous owner had backed into a post. We picked the van up on Monday and could not be happier with the customer service and the vehicle.

This was a great buying experience. We went in knowing what we wanted so the search was simple, We were greeted by Chris when we got there and he answered all our questions and started the process right away. We had a price, a deal and a car by the end of the day. We drove our new car home that day! This was amazing with the time we needed to get into one being only a few days and this was due to a trip we had planned and leaving in a few days, we found out our other car was in need of major work and trading it in maybe a better option and that was the plan and they worked with us from the moment we drove on the lot and I know they will continue to work with us in the future also.

My husband and I walked into the dealership with no expectations other than to look at cars new and used and hopefully find something that would meet our needs. We met Chris Henry, told him what we were looking for and what was suggested to us by friends. He talked to us about the options and suggested we try out the two we were interested in. He was thorough in his explanations and answered our questions. If he wasn't sure of the answer he went to find it. After trying out the Jeep Compass we found it met and exceeded our needs and we wanted to move on to the financing options. After some haggling and decision making on our part, we bought the 2014 Jeep Compass. Chris and all the others involved at Cortland Chrysler are good, friendly, experienced people who are willing to work with you and help you make the deal if they can. I would definitely recommend this dealership to anyone looking for a vehicle and I would recommend Chris Henry as a sales consultant. We will return here for another vehicle but hopefully not for a long time!!! LOL

We were greeted by Mike Giovinazzo, and he was very pleasant and had great knowledge of the vehicle we were interested in. When we took the vehicle out for a test drive he was very informative with all the aspects of the vehicle and made sure all our questions were answered before purchasing the vehicle. He was very helpful and very friendly. He was a joy to work with and would recommend him to anyone that is looking for a car to purchase. He also told us to contact him with any questions if we needed help, which was nice. We also worked with Darin Colangelo, the business end of the deal. He was also very helpful and was friendly to not only us but our younger kids. He was able to get us a great deal on a brand new car. Overall one of the best buying experiences that my wife and I have had yet. Greg contacted me promptly, and helped to set me up with an appointment with Mike. Mike was helpful, informative, and a very low pressure salesman. Once we had selected the vehicle that we wanted Mike and Nelson helped us to explore all options, both new and used, in order to get us into the vehicle that we wanted at a price we could afford. At the end of the day Nelson found us the vehicle we were looking for on the lot of the sister dealership. From there Darin took over and beat the loan rate of my credit union, and managed to help drop my payment even lower without and tricks or further extending the term of the loan. When it was all said and done, my wife and I are in the vehicle we want, at a price we can afford, and couldn't have asked for a better buying experience. We will certainly be coming back to Cortland Chrysler Dodge Jeep when it is time to purchase our next car.

Well about a month ago, Kennard and I went looking for a small pick up truck, there wasn't one there that we could afford. So Tom Caforio, took all the info down that we were looking for. then he called one day said I found the truck u are looking for. So we were going down to look at and Tom be honest to us.. Said that truck isn't what u wanted... So about 3 weeks later.. who calls us again, but tom...he has really found the truck we wanted.. with all the work tom and darin did. We got our truck we loved it. please tell Tom thank you again. He is very polite, honest, and lets us ask questions, he isn't a pushy sale person...he is awesome sale person...and we went here because we were told the salepersons are great people to work with..Dorothy Coon bought her van there 2 years ago, she loves it. and has no problems with this dealership. thanks again Debbie Brown

We were just looking and came from across the street and at the front door was Chris Henry. He met us with a smile and nice greeting. We talked for a while and he showed us a JEEP wrangler. We looked it over and went home (liverpool,ny) and called a day or two later that we wanted to get a wrangler with the options and color we wanted. He (Chris) called and said they would have one the next day. WE went the next day to close the deal and all went very well with Ken doing the finance and Chris handing us the keys. "GREAT" to do business with no high pressure.

I recently stopped by Cortland Chrysler Dodge to purchase a new Dodge Avenger. I am a recent college graduate and this was my first time going through the process of buying a new vehicle. Both Mike and Ken were great and walked me through the entire process of selecting my car and financing. I could not be more pleased with the service I received from both Mike and Ken. Being from out of town and buying a truck through the internet is not an easy thing to do..It is also hard to trust people you don't know. After talking with Greg B. and Mike G. thru phone, they seemed sincere and honest about a 2004 Silverado I was interested in. So I made the 2 hour trip to Cortland Chrysler Dodge and I was not disappointed at all. I was treated like a friend not customer. Mike wasn't pushy about the sale, he was more concerned if I was satisfied on what I was buying. I have bought 3 vehicles form this dealership and all three of them have been very good vehicles. Tom was are sales person every time we have visited this dealership and he has always been very helpful and honest and the service that we have gotten from him and Darin and Greg was great. I would buy another vehicle from them hands down not to mention I would recommend them to anyone. They go over and beyond what's asked of them. They do what ever they can to get you into the vehicle you want and in a respectable time frame. I called Greg on a Saturday morning told him that I was interested in a 2007 Dodge Nitro, he had the Nitro at Cortland Chrysler for my husband and I to take a look at and test drive. He was very polite and was a lot of help. We decide on that day that we wanted to purchase the Nitro and by Monday we got the call that we were able to get it and picked it up that same night and we are very happy with it. We have 2 of them and we have purchased both of them from here and the service we got was wonderful. I can't say enough about the sales team and everyone that worked with us in the vehicle we wanted. I do agree with one customer though, I know when I traded my Dodge Caliber in it had a lot more gas in it than the Nitro did when I picked it up. That was my only disappointment. It would be nice to purchase a vehicle without having it be almost empty. Thanks to everyone at Cortland Chrysler for a good car buying experience.

My first visit was unsuccessful in negotiating a deal. However, the vehicle I wanted was still there after 3 months, so I went back. They bent over backwards and increased the trade-in so I could get the Dodge Ram! My husband bought his Dodge Ram from them. We are very happy with this Dealership.

Tom sold me a truck a after leading me to believe that it had a specific part/feature. It turned out that my truck lacks this feature, and that it would cost me over $400 to obtain the parts. Tom said he's had this problem with previous customers "misunderstanding" this problem, so obviously I'm not the only one he has led on. When I went back to ask if they would do anything to help me, they said they I would have to pay full price, that's not much of a help. The customer service after a sale of a vehicle is terrible. I would not recommend buying a vehicle from here.

I purchased a new 2012 Compass. I liked the fact that I was not pressured into buying anything. I had the opportunity to look around and take tiem to think about what I wanted in a new car before making my decision. Tom was VERY helpful. What I found disappointing was that I purchased a brand new car with less than a quarter tank of gas. You would think that a dealership would have filled the tank with the purchase of a brand new car! Other than that, the service was great!

Tom was extremely helpful in providing me with the pros and cons when deciding whether to purchase or lease a new vehicle. He was very patient in answering all of my questions and I never felt like I was being rushed through the process like a factory line. Buying/leasing a new car is an extremely difficult and stressful process, so Tom's sense of humor certainly helped to ease my mind. When I picked up the vehicle, Tom walked me outside in the freezing weather and took the time to physically show me what each button was for and he even programmed some of the menu options for me. I drove away feeling satisfied with my decision! I highly recommend this dealership and highly recommend Tom as someone to deal with! Thank you.

Second posting by me. Our positive experience with our first sale made me go back in for another 2 weeks later. I had a great truck. A 2008 Ram that I absolutley loved. Not a bit of trouble with it and used it to haul my horses and hay deliveries all over CNY. Mike gave me a call to let me know about some major end of model year rebates. I was hesitant at first because I had no problems with the truck I had, but with the incentives they had to offer and huge trade in that they gave me I got the exact same truck (color and all) except it's brand new with full warantee and many more features for $40.00 a month more than I was paying. They were able to add the after market items that I wanted with just a few hours and I absolutley love it! Thanks guys!

Tom made us feel very welcome. He really did his best to show us the car features and he made us feel that we were important to him. He went above and beyond trying to get in touch with our insurance company which was not being very accessible. Darin did his best to find us the best loan possible. I will continue to due business there, and will recommend them to others looking for a vehicle.

this sales man is the worst sales man i have ever dealt with i have bought cars from dealers before and have been to 10-15 dealers this time looking, so i would know. it was like he didn't want to sell me a car he keep saying well i guess i cant help you, well this must not be the car for you, you must have been miss informed. i had done research on the car i wanted walked in there knowing ex what car i wanted, he was so bad i literally had walked out of the dealer after trying to talk with him for 20-25 minuets and just as i was getting ready to get in my car to leave a manager had come out to talk with me about what was going on. all i wanted was a fair price for the car and new tires cause the ones that were on it would NOT pass a inspection at a normal shop. my boyfriend had the same exact car color, package, year everything. his has half the mileage on it, less damage to the car inside and out, and he payed a little more then a grand less then i did. so i payed more for a car that has double the mileage more damage and i got worse serves.then when i went to pick up the car they didn't even clean the seat there was food and dirt on the back seats.

Tom was a great salesman. He and everyone were so friendly. We had been across the road and they didn't really want to work with us. So we got in our car and went down the road to Royal and we hadn't even gotten out of the car and had a chance to look around and there was a saleslady in our face immediately. That is a total turn off to me. Plus their cars are very overpriced in my estimation. So we decided to try Chrysler and were very impressed with Tom. There was no pressure and we were looking for a good used car. I got a brand new car to my surprise. I never expected to buy a new car and be approved for a loan for a new car. Everyone was so friendly we had a wonderful experience and will definately recommend this dealership to our friends and family. Thank you!!

We had been looking at Liberty's for a little while, and no local dealer impressed us. I had emailed Cortland Chrysler and Greg was very responsive and explained to me how the current incentives and rebates worked. At the dealership, we met Mike G. He was very friendly and we appreciated his sense of humor and the down to earth atmosphere. Needless to say, we now own a new Jeep Liberty.
