We purchased a new car from this dealership recently. The car has been back to the service dept several times for ongoing and different issues. The communication was horrible with the service adviser. Left messages for the GM with no return phone calls. These people didn't want to be bothered and didn't seem concerned about the ongoing issues. After getting my car back this last time I choose to go else where to have the issues corrected properly

We have purchased several vehicles through Don Pagels at Coulter Tempe. There is no one as honest and good as Don. I knew what type of vehicle I wanted, called Don and he found exactly what I was looking for. As long as Don is with Coulter we will purchase our cars through him. Our salesman this time was Gus Kostopulos who walked us through every step of the purchase process as well as all the features of the car. So, 2 days after buying the new car, we notice a weird scratch, from bumper to door, obviously there when we bought it. So we approached the dealer and they are totally won't own it....want to charge us $300 to fix it. Coulter GMC REALLY DROPPED THE BALL. VERY untrustworthy dealership....we are so disappointed really wish we had gone with someone else now

I am also very happy with their Service Dept, especially Randy Wood, Asst Service Manager. We originally had a 2015 GMC Terrain SLT we brought in for routine service, saw the 2016 Buick Encore and fell in love with it. We drove away 2 hours later with the 2016 Buick. We recently shopped for a small SUV from Coulter Tempe. The salesman, Frank Graham, was friendly and helpful and absolutely made us feel like he wanted to find just the right fit for our needs. We looked at used and new GMCs, Buicks and Cadillacs, ultimately settling on a "manager's special" Cadillac SRX. They were fair in negotiating and never insisted on pushing additional warranties or extras on us. Best buying experience we've ever had.

I bought a 2015 GMC Sierra truck with only 50 miles on it. After only having it for 2 weeks and with only 700 miles on it, I noticed that there was a loud "popping" noise every time I turned to the right and the motor had a loud "ticking" noise when it is idling, it is louder than my 2004 Chevy truck. I took it to the dealership and they kept my truck overnight and said it would be ready to pick up the next day. They did not even have a rental car available for me to use meanwhile. The next day came around and they called and spoke to my husband and informed him that they would be replacing the "steering gear". My husband is a GM and ford mechanic for the city of Tempe for five years and knew exactly what they were talking about, and asked if they would be replacing the "rack and pinion" and he stated yes. This part is the whole steering system of the chasse. They stated that the truck would be fixed and ready for pick up by the end of the day. I had to call them at 5:30pm to check on the truck. After being placed on hold I was informed that it still was not ready, that the "parts came in late", no one even called to let me know. My husband asked to speak to a manager as this is a very major part on a vehicle and it is already broken. When he spoke to the manager he expressed our concerns with just having spent $35,000 on a brand new truck that is already needing to be worked on. When my husband contacted the manager in service he informed him that we did not feel comfortable keeping this truck as it already has a major part that is broken on it. The manager asked if we were looking to trade it in and we said yes. Then we were directed to the sales manager who instantly began raising his voice and stated that we signed a contract that we can not return it and there was nothing he could do that we needed to contact the bank that we got the loan through. My husband informed him that that was a lie there has to be a way to fix this issue and he began raising his voice. His behavior was very rude and unprofessional! 35,000 may not be a lot to a dealership but it is for those of us who work hard for our money!

Leased a new 2016 Buick Encore at Coulter. Frank was really friendly, respectful, knowledgeable, honest, and - best of all - helpful!! We had previously purchased a Cadillac from Coulter quite a few years ago and - this month when we decided to lease a new Encore - we went to visit Coulter first because of past great experience there. Happily, customer service is as good as ever. Frank got us into exactly the model we wanted: carbon black with saddle leather interior. Given this is so late in the model year, and given how fast the saddle leather disappears from dealer lots, this was quite a feat! If you doubt what I say, go online and see if you can find one! (SPOILER: You won't.) Everything went so well, and the deal was so attractive, that we never wound up visiting any other Buick dealer.

I haven't bought a car in the last 13 years - I recently bought a used vehicle from Coulter Tempe and the experience was surprisingly friendly and smooth. Kelly O'Hara was our sales associate and he was friendly, patient, and knowledgeable. He was willing to entertain my desire to test drive MANY vehicles and answer my many questions. Brad in Finance was also helpful and informative, and worked to find a bank/loan that would finance us with the price/rate that we wanted. They also gave me more for my trade-in that other dealerships I had been to prior to going to Coulter Tempe.This is a great dealership and I would definitely return if I ever bought another vehicle again. Everyone was friendly and professional, not pushy, and mostly just wanted to work with us to get me what I wanted in the price range I was comfortable with. Plus, in the future when I need my car serviced/regular maintenance, they provide concierge service if needed! I recommend you check them out for your next car-buying experience!

This is the first time I have ever bought a car without my husband. Of course, he prepped me, but I actually didn't need it. Don, the sales manager, introduced me to Bruce Dawson, salesman, and I have never been treated with such respect and courtesy. Bruce showed me the inventory and informed me of the differences in each model. I told him what I was looking for and we found the perfect vehicle. He knew I was crunched for time so he took care of all he could after I left. I went back the next day and completed the purchase. Once I got the keys, Bruce took as long as I needed to personalize the vehicle for me. When I left there, I felt that I had made new friends and know that they will always take good care of me. All personal where helpful and friendly. Set appointment with Randy Watson. Was waiting for us when we arrived,. Bill Morehouse greeted as we entered show room. Met with both Randy and Bill, we explained what model of Buick we would like to see,asked us question for more details before Bill took us to the lot. Bill was so helpful answers all questions we asked. Had a great test drive. Sat again will Randy and Bill to go over pricing, etc.We were interest every much with the Encore, color red. they did not have a red Encore in the dealership. They were able to locate one at an other dealer. Came back the next day and finalized the purchase of the Red Encore. Before we were able to leave with our new car, Bill spent at least 45 minutes or longer to review every thing about the workings of the Encore, Set up On-Star, connected both phones to Blue Tooth, explained Radio, AC,Tilt Wheel,etc, walking around the cat with us. Experience was very helpful, leaving dealership with a comfortable feeling with your new car.Both Randy and Bill showed themselves Honest, will let anyone know where to purchase their next Buick.

The sales men I worked with are Sunday Etukeren and Gus Kostopulos. I felt they were so totally honest in selling me what I said I want, not just selling what they had on their lot. They know their product and are so willing to make sure I understand what I'm getting. When I left their lot in my new Terrain SUV I felt like I could handle all the new and unfamiliar (to me) features. Gus Kostopulos explained the features until I understood them. My fiance and I were in the market to buy a new SUV to replace her old one. We were headed down the road with Toyota and by chance stapled at the new coulter dealership. The SRX was amazing but the sales man, Brian Bowles and the Coulter commitment was what made the sale! I felt so good about the process and on-going commitment to service that I came back a week later and traded out other car and bought an ATS. What a car! My wife and I had just left another dealership and happened to drive by Coulter in Tempe. We saw a car we were interested in and drove into the lot. Everything from that point was a huge improvement over the previous dealer. Tony Shaw introduced himself and offered to show us any and all cars we might have an interest in. I had already decided on the car we ended up buying, but my wife wanted to see others. Tony went above and beyond showing us different vehicles. I bought the 2012 GMC Terrain we first looked at. Coming to a price was done in very straightforward, professional manner. Management and Tony bent over backwards for us. We got the car at a great price, and made a couple of new friends. I would recommend Coulter to any and all. Ask for Tony Shaw. And, the coffee is outstanding. We then got handed off to Brad Burmeister to do all the paper work. Fast easy and efficient. A pleasure to do business with and I got the extended warranty that I wanted. Again, at a reasonable price. The only improvement I could recommend is that they put in a wet bar. Great day, great people and a wonderful group of professionals.

Salesman quoted me price $1500 above Internet price in a CTS V, then offered me $2000 less on my trade in than any other dealership and didn't return my drivers license when I left. Called in and asked if he mail it and he said did. License never showed up. Called and left messages for two sales managers and never got a return call. Beware of this dealership!!!!!

We were working with another dealership thru USAA Car Buying to purchase a 2014 Escalade (Light Colored) and got the run around for 2.5 weeks. We finally got tired or getting the run around and decided to try Coulter (also on the USAA Car Buying Service). On our way to another dealership to purchase a truck, my husband spotted this 2013 beauty on the Coulter lot. We stopped, Joe Lopez was right there to help us with questions, no pressure, just friendly information. We test drove the vehicle and loved it. We were able to get the price we wanted and some beautiful step side boards as well. This is a Cadillac dealer and this truck was a Dodge, but they were all very helpful from the receptionist to the service department and were willing to go out of their way to provide us with the information we needed to make a decision. Overall my experience with my purchase was good. The day following my purchase, the battery was dead. The used car sales Manager (Randy) replaced the battery. The vehicle had two new tires on the rear. I requested, and received a copy of the work order (#475767) to determine was Coulter did to the vehicle in preparing it for sale. The work order showed the maintenance work performed. In addition, the work order detail showed the "front and rear tires are going to discount tire to get replaced". Upon inspection, the front tires appeared abit worn. I took the vehicle to Discount Tire for evaluation. They determined the tread life remaining was 5/32 and 6/32. I was uncomfortable with the remaining life and had the front tires replaced ($348.00). As I stated, I am satisfied with the vehicle I purchased at Coulter, however, I am not satisfied with reconditioning of the vehicle prior to its sale. John was extremely knowledgeable about the Cadillac ATS. He demonstrated the CUE functions and answered all our questions in a way we could understand clearly. He found a 2013 SRX for us at a price we were happy with. We would recommend him and Coulter.While we love the CUE system and OnStar, we will probably not keep the SRX very long due to excessive wind noise while driving at highway speeds. Cadillac - as a luxury brand - should do a better job with noise insulation.

was quoted $38175. or $1735. off msrp. when i went to order i was sold a 2013 model at factory discount of $3000..this was after 3 hours in the office.i was given $670. offhad to take $797.95 of unwanted extras. after the purchase i was told by coulter cadillac that an aditional also$1000.was available making the factory giveback $4000. also cadillac internet stated 15000 miles on 2013 models not the 10000.i was given. the lease payments were much lower. the 2013 brochure lists heated front seats that are not in my car. it is a nice car that would be much nicer at a few thousand dollars less.

I was helping a friend look for a new car online and told him about my cousin's GMC Terrain and suggested he look at them. I was on the Coulter Tempe website and i saw a link to have a trade in appraised by filling in some information, so for fun i thought i would see what my 2011 Honda CRV was worth. I had no intention of buying a new car. To my pleasant surprise, i got an email with a ball park idea of the offer. I got an email follow up from John a few days later. Being a little skeptical, i thought i would go see John and see what i would REALLY get. I was pleasantly surprised again. John made me feel like family or a friend. He dealt with me honestly and with respect. For someone who a few days previously had no intention of buying a new car, i came home with my brand new GMC Terrain. I am writing this review and giving my rating because in my 61 years, I have never had a more pleasant and enjoyable experience buying a car. I think this must be the way every customer at Coulter is treated, and because John deserves to be recognized for his customer service and i consider him and the whole Coulter dealership worth my time to do this. Not only would i recommend them, i DO recommend them to everyone who comments on my new car ! Oh by the way the internet appraisal was spot on,no games !!!

I must say I had a wonderful experience at Coulter Motor Company. I requested a quote from a popular website and within 5 minutes John called me and we set a convenient time to visit. I had a pretty good idea of what I wanted and John did everything he could to find the vehicle that met my needs. He allowed me to test drive several models and was patient with my decision making process. He finally found a car that fit my needs and jumped through all kinds of hoops to get it here, have it detailed and full of gas waiting for me. It is truly unbelievable to me how much these salesman do beyond just selling the car. John gave me a tour of the facility, introduced me to the service personnel and then even helped me get my new car home. Really impressive. I am in finance and just wanted to buy a car at a fair price with no haggling. John did just that and was very transparent with all of the numbers. There was absolutely no "sales pitch" involved.I met Peter in finance and he was thorough in his explanations of the various options I had but again was courteous and did not pressure me to buy anything. Again, very impressive.I did not spend my whole day at the dealership. When the car was delivered, I was there about two hours to complete everything required to take possession of my new ride.I drove away with a beautiful red 2013 Acadia Denali. This vehicle has so far met my expectations and if performs half as well as the dealership and people I dealt with, I'm in for a long and happy driving experience.I wholeheartedly recommend John Skoko, Fleet manager at Coulter for your next automobile purchase.The only complaint I have is the hot dog vendor was gone by the time I was hungry :-)

After purchasing 5 vehicles from an AutoNation dealership and being taken to the cleaners on the last one that was it for me. I'll never go back. After Lexus tried to bury a $90 monthly leasing fee into their vehicle I'll never go back. Wife and I decided to shop independent dealerships and had previously visited Coulter to test drive a few cars. I must admit I test all dealerships by asking questions I already know the answers to. If I'm lied to I walk out and never look back. At Coulter they passed my test with flying colors, no lying, no bait and switch, no bull. I found a used car that was a 100% match to the list of features the wife and I wanted like air conditioned seats, remote start, power lift gate, etc. It was the right color, year, model, price - everything. When I opened the hood not only did this 4 year old vehicle look clean but I checked every fluid and it was clean. The oil had obviously been changed, Brake fluid was bright, etc. The tires were new, the inside was meticulous. It was clear they went through this car with great care and detail.Chris has been there over 10 years, knows his cars inside and out. (My last autonation salesman had been there 2 weeks to put it in comparison.) Ray also helped me and was great. Both finance managers made themselves available to me to discuss different extended warranty options and finalize the contract. Stacy worked her magic with my very difficult vanity plate migration because the truck I traded in had a pending vanity plate order.Everyone took exceptional care of us. The GM called me and personally provided his email and cell so I could call anytime if I had any issues. After purchase we immediately took the car on a long drive out of state and swung by a secondary dealership and had them test the battery and brakes. Both tested excellent. At that point I had independent verification that Coulter sells great cars and takes excellent car of their used fleet. I highly recommend them and I can't think of any other car dealership I can say that about.

Coulter Cadillac in Tempe has a fantastic inventory of vehicles of which the Cadillac SRX caught my eye. Shortly after that Brian Peck /Sales Consultant introduced himself and ask if he could assist with whatever vehicle we were interested in. He showed us several SRX vehicles and explained the different price ranges and standard equipment that comes with each vehicle. After making a selection he assisted us with the test drive and continued to explain many of the wonderful features that come with the SRX. Upon returning to the showroom Brian assisted me with the initial terms of the purchase and was very responsive to any questions. After the purchase/paperwork was finished Brian took me to my new SRX and showed me many more of the features that are available on this fantastic vehicle. We have owned two Buick Regals in the past and were interested in a Verano. We were met by Alan Gibson as we wandered around the sales lot on a Friday afternoon. After taking a short test drive in a silver Verano Alan spent most of the afternoon trying to locate the right one for us. When we could not make up our mind on options or color he arranged for us to take the silver Verano home for the night. This proved to be an astute move because we bought that car the next day. I was impressed with how much time Alan spent with us on Friday and Saturday. I've never had a sales consultant go over every feature of a new car before I left the dealership with it. I know it's probably a Coulter requirement but Alan took his time and made sure we understood all the bells and whistles on our new Verano. He even showed us the service area so we would know where to go and who to talk to when we brought our new car back for service. From past experience (not at this dealership) I was not looking forward to the meeting with the "finance guy" but that went smoothly as well. No pressure to add on stuff we did not want and they were able to get every penny of the GM Card rebate that we had built up over the years which was an unexpected surprise. After driving the new Verano for a week I have not had one single tinge of buyer's remorse. We have a tendancy to keep cars for a long time but I'm sure that when my wife tires of her 2009 Honda (she is jealous of the MY car) we will call Coulter and set up an appointment with Alan. He will still be there because, being the kind of dealership that it is, Coulter does not have a lot of employee turnover. They treat their employees right who in turn treat their customers right as well. I can't recall seeing any Couter TV ads that are so common with many other dealerships. No doubt that's because they rely on repeat business and word of mouth advertising which is free and more powerful. Good job Coulter!

From the moment I made online contact with John Moriarity at Coulter I sensed he really wanted to "earn" my business.I was driving a leased BMW which I did not like and wanted to go back to Cadillac. I had been in contact with Legends Cadillac, much closer to my Valley home. Very helpful sales person. Brian was very patient with us and there was no pressure. The finance team was also very helpful and provided us an excellent extended warranty at a fair price. From initial contact to delivery of the car, John Skoko was extremely professional, which reflected very well on the dealership. I live in Tucson, so it was not the most convenient dealer to work with, but because of the outstanding response and continuing communication as we worked out details, I felt it was worth a couple drives to Tempe. No other dealer even responded to my initial inquiry.

I visited Coulter Motor Company on 14 February 2012. I met with Ken Bowers, a good friend for many years. I was looking for a GMC Acadia in white diamon with the tan interior. The company went on a sreach and today I own a new car. Thank you Ken Bower and Coulter Mortor Company for the best customer service I received in a long time. Ken stayed in touched, and called me on the 24 of Febuary, letting me know that the vehicle would be on their lot by that evening. WOW! walked in to have one vehicle serviced and left buying a second used car. we bought our first 2011 escalade here with Dan Ferguson. and this second one with Sunday Etukeren. both experiences with no pressure. every one was extremely accommodating. While waiting for our car to be serviced we looked at a few used cars and found this very clean 2008 cadillac SRX with low milage. i was looking for my sister a car she wouldn't have to worry about. this was it. within a few minutes we agreed on a price and an extended warranty package and a payment plan to boot. Keri helped us pick out a good plan. not only is she good looking, she knows her stuff too. not much more than an hour later we drove away with both vehicles. however the tires on the SRX made quite a noise and got worse as we drove, so drove it back to the service. 3 of the tires had broken down inside and were making loud thumping noises. probably would not last long before they blew out. We knew the car was used and tires are not part of the warranty, but between Sunday, Angie and the service manager they agreed to replace all 4 at no cost to us. I would definitely recommend this dealership to anyone looking for a good experience when buying new or used or servicing a vehicle. we are looking forward to trading our Lexus hybrid for a beautiful new SUV cadillac. because we know we will get one heck of a good deal and service we can rely on.

I had to have some service work done on my 2010 Cadillac CTS and Russell Moore took care of my service needs. Mr. Moore was very courteous and professional and efficient. He made every effort to reduce any inconvenience on my part. I have never experienced service on the level that Mr. Moore provided. I live in Tempe and the body shop is in Phoenix and Mr. Moore completed my work in 1 day and without me having to take my car to Phoenix or go to Phoenix to pick it up. I was totally impressed with his extraordinary service.

Buying a car at Coulter Tempe was about the easiest most pleasant experience I have ever had. They found me the right car at the right price. More importantly they were straightforward and honest throughout the whole process. Quotes I had gotten at other places, which sounded too good to be true....turned out to be outright lies. My salesperson at Coulter told me what would happen, that when I got to the other dealer they would claim there was a mistake or the car sold, or I misunderstood what they told me. Sure enough he was right. The other dealer couldn't do the price they quoted. Coulter was upfront and nothing changed from the quote I was given. Honesty is something I appreciate immensely. If you want a straightforward, honest deal....go to Coulter Tempe. We love our Acadia and we love the service before and after the sale we got from Coulter.

Terrible Service... Sales Rep physically threatened me. It was hysterical, I come to Coulter in my beloved Dodge Stratus ( more about this later), with a stack of 20K in my glove-box and pretty good credit to match. I get out of my car and I ask a gentlemen who was locking the car doors to leave one open for five minutes so I can have a look inside. He smirked at me, acknowledging he heard me and then proceeded to lock the car door. I then got out of my car and proceeded to walk over to the car and peer inside, I was a little upset that he blatantly locked the car door so I shook my head and mumbled, "What a jerk." Just then he literally runs about 20 feet and comes up to me and says WHAT!, What did you say- meanwhile now he was no more then three inches in front of me. I then told the agent he needed to back up and get out of my face. He then cocked his sideways and said, What are you going to do? I don't have to do anything! As the agent was screaming at me, a sales rep came running out because of the commotion and stepped in between me and the outraged individual. I am told then I need to leave and I have to go, as I laugh and say I'll be calling your manager about this, the outraged agent who was in my face has the audacity to say, "HA, get out of here with your little Dodge Stratus." So, not only was I disrespected, but I was made fun of about the car I drive. I have never felt more disrespected and humiliated in my life. This dealership is a terrible place and I suggest one should consider going here because apparently the agents are hostile and want to fight with the customers that pay their paycheck and apparently if you drive anything other then a Cadillac you are made fun of.

My salesman John Skoko quoted me a price on a 2011 SRX which was only a few dollars over the "Friends & Suppliers" price I finally received. No pressure to buy. Excellent follow up after I picked up my car. Salesman even drove 45 minutes to my house to explain all the car's electronics to my wife.Shop Foreman Scott Baldassini went above and beyond to find and fix the problem of my wife's cell phone not conecting with Bluetooth.The entire sales process was hassle free with no pressure to buy anything I didn't want or need.This was the first stress free car buying experience I have ever had.

This dealership by far the best dealership we have ever purchased from or had cars serviced with. We have had 4 cars serviced and 2 new cars purchased and more new cars to come. The employees at this dealership are the friendliest and honest people I have ever dealt with and even after contracts are signed, the customer service remains just as good. The service department is the best we have ever dealt with. We have purchased other cars in the past at other dealerships but still went to Coulter to have our warranty work done and remained with them after warrenty had expired. They can be trusted and are willing to work with customers and meet their wishes and are not afraid to bend over backwards to accomadate the customers. I highly recommend Coulter for purchasing or servicing a car. Coulter is only 1 of a handful of dealerships in Arizona that you wont find negative blogs or webstes that denote a negative tone about a dealership. Nice job Coulter!

I handled the whole purchase over the internet. My sales person was very professional and answered all my questions. The vehicle I chose a 2008 GMC Yukon Denali was exactly what I wanted. All the paperwork and the vehicle were ready when I arrived at the dealership. My salesperson took a lot of time to make sure I was comfortable with the dealership and all of the features on my new vehicle. I will recommend all my friends to Coulter GMC.
