Dwayne was an all around great salesman. He made me feel just like family and was very helpful to me in choosing a car. I didn't have alot of knowledge in choosing a car but he changed that and he informed me on alot about choosing the right car for me. Well are experience was the worst as possible Nick And Robert put us in a 2017 Chevy Cruz 2 hours after we got car it was towed car was shaking,check engine light flashing and smoke coming from under hood and my son was in car with us then called for taxi paid 65 dollars was told by Nick I will get reimbursed never happened.Second in next few days my deposit for car the check gets cashed was predated and Nick said ok they wont cash until I get paid,but no are account overdrafted first time so 75 dollars there.Then the car gets serviced its fine driving home problem again needs to be towed,so next day we say lets just get are trade in back and go somewhere else.Next ok no problem after that took car back didnt buy from them they still tried cashing same check and overdrafted are account second time ok 75 fee.So Nick sweet talker no problem u will get whole amount we owe no later then Thursday.So we waited until election day and went in person because calling getting run around and fed lies left snd right I was fed up so me and my fiancee went in there.So we asked to talk to Nick and of course acted stupid what is this regarding,have to talk to the boss we waited he came back said they feel u shouldnt get refunded because he stated that my check was fraudulent.My fiancee said to him are u kidding me and then he said get out of my store.Then my fiancee said we are going to call Gm about this and Nick said I can have You Killed u dont know who ur messin with,this isnt professional at all I just wanted my refund what was owed and not lies,this behavior he should lose his job for good and no where from being professional but very rude,arrognant and you dont call customers honey or babe so please get some skills on customer service.....

2 years ago I was car shopping and everywhere I went I was giving the run around and blah blah blah. I met Joey B and I told him what I wanted and I don't want to be hassled or hustled. He gave me everything I asked for and more back then and I walked away with a drop Camaro. I never put trust in any salesman in over 22 years of buying new and used cars however he has earned my respect and trust. I purchased 2 vehicle from this dealership a brand new chevy Malibu 2014 back in 2014 and a 2011 Chevy Traverse in april 2016 I had lots of problems. With the 2011 traverse that's how I ran into Joey B the first manager at this dealership since I've been doing business with them rude disrespectful didnt want to listen to the customer he said I was complaining as he putting me an my 3kids in the back seat of there drop off van but he telles me i was just complaining as he closing the van door in my face I have spent over $40,000 at this dealership an have brought family to this same dealership to buy cars i no everyone that works there never had a problem he didn't want to listen to nothing I was saying walking away while I was talking to him very rude didnt have no kind of customer service yelling at me and the slogan nice people to do business with no i even have a video i can post to show him telling me that he going to send the car out to be clean an if i dont like it it its to bad an he not going to do nothing else an then walk away just rude go's inside not knowing my daughter is still sitting inside as he walk in telling the other emplyees im getting on his last nerves...but there slogan is nice ppl to do business with well hes not one he make the other mangers looks really bad...i had a right to be up set when my 2011 was at the dealership more then its been with me an i just purchased in april 2016 the first week the water pump went out a week after i bought it the windsheid leaked water into the car an into the radio the passager window stop working the vents was off in the 3rd row seats the head light stop working the back passager seat the cover was broke...an he said i was just complaining i hope that currie motors can send him to a class to teach him customer service.i left go's get my husband an his respect was very different to him then me. An yea i just bought the 2011 chevy traverse in april an he said other dealerships would have let all these problems i was having would have let that been my problem...WOW THATS WHY I DIDNT GO TO THE OTHER DEALERSHIP I CAME TO CHEVY...JOEY B.I WANTED A DEPENABLE CAR.BUT EITHER WAY JOEY B. DIDNT CARE..An This all happen on 7/28/2016 an i been coming there every since 2014 on one visit with him change my whole ideal about currie motors..never think ill buy anotherif i ever have to deal with him..

Best car buying experience ever. The service I had at Currie Motors Chevrolet was beyond excellent. I have done a lot of research and traveled to many dealerships before coming in to Currie Motors. My entire interaction with Yaz was extremely pleasant and made it a very enjoyable buying experience. Yaz was our "guide" into making the right decision on a large purchase. From the moment I walked in he made me feel comfortable and was very patient with me. He really helped me understand the pros and cons on a few selections (based on my selective preferences). Brian Ihde is nothing but a liar he has you waiting around for hours on end.He tells you one thing and then does another.He said I couldn't get financeing for a new car after a three hour wait.Well Mr Ihde I went to Howard Buick and got a brand new 2015 Encore with no money down just my trade in and payments under $375.00 a month.I will never go back to Currie Motors, Long live Joe at Howard Buick.

Brought fleet vehicle in for service, Oil Change and the radio and heat controls were not working properly.I dropped it off on a Thursday Morning, said I needed it back by Monday ( I was on vacation) Turned out there were 5 recalls on the vehicle. I never received a call telling me the vehicle was ready until I called Monday Morning. The vehicle was done Thursday afternoon!!!I could have worked on the weekend. So I lost possible overtime at work due to poor communication.I showed Up Monday morning to pick it up, the service guy Mike Murphy saw me when I walked in, asked "Did they call you?". I said , no, I didn't know it was ready until I called this morning.He took me to the service area , where he had the paperwork and keys under his Kiosk. How is someone supposed to call me if the paperwork is shoved under a pile of other papers. He had me sign the two spots, then gave me the keys and told me it's in the back. I had to go get the Truck out of the rear lot myself. I got to the truck, got in, drove to the front of the lot, the radio cut out again. I stopped, went back in and asked if they looked at the radio and heat control issues. I was told By Mike, "you never told me about that" THATS THE REASON I BROUGHT IT IN!!!!I left, to go to a "Better" Chevy dealer, and I got about 2 miles away and the low oil light came on. Now, I'm sure that they never did an oil change either as there is no sticker on the windshield saying when the next service is due.Totally unprofessional, and ignorant that they did not know why I brought it in when they were told, Then they only fixed 2 1/2 of the recall problems as they needs to order parts for the remaining issues. I take my personal vehicle here also, well... Not anymore.

Carnell worked hard to get me into a used vehicle with very low mileage and extra clean; not to mention low monthly payments. Carnell was truly a godsend. Even though I live very few miles from this dealership, I have never went to Currie, but THANKS GOD !!! my Aunt recommended this dealership, she had just purchased a new car maybe few weeks prior to my purchase so I said ok why not give them a try. And the experience was awesome very professional, experienced, helpful, knowledgeable, friendly and respectable people all around. I walked in not having any car in mind, but I knew I wanted the best my credit wasn't the best but that didn't stop them from getting me the very best deal as well as the top of the line automobile. This dealership is phoning and false advertising I would not recommend anybody to go and deal with them or do business on trying to buy a new vehicle go do some research and find another place to go to the kind of vehicle and get the deal that you want the dealership raises prices on the vehicle and they try to get you to buy things that you don't really want and I put you in the vehicle that you don't really want to have people come to the dealership and they say good credit bad credit no credit they can get you done and let me know that I tell you you need 2,0000 or 5.00000own to get something done and they tell you you need money down on how to fill out a credit app before you can test your iron something for a vehicle that you want the GM sales manager Leo he will not help you unless you give him the money that they need just to get it done so he lies to you they lie to you that's what car salesman do all the car salesman for 2 years and never lied to a customer before that's why I've been came car salesman of the year I know how car salesman work and I'll have a talk and I can't get over me if you want to buy a car somewhere and you find a car that you want if its a Chevy or Ford do not go anywhere near Currie motors Chevrolet trust me on this find another dealership and find a car that you want with a great deal. And if you do go there and try to trade your car and they say they give you more than with your card worth enough to lie they give you what you want for your car and they put it on our lives and sell it for more just to get the deal done so do a lot of research if you going to trade a car in and you want to trade it in with them and see what you can get for it before you do because they're going to give you less money than what you think you're gonna get

I brought my car in for service while the car was still under warranty because it was misfiring. Currie did nothing to fix it - just changed the oil and air filter. I brought it in a few weeks later for the same issue - Currie again did nothing because they couldn't replicate the problem. A few weeks later my car fully broke down due to this issue. The Currie mechanic was finally able to fix it (only once the car became undriveable and the computer codes told them exactly what the problem was). By this time the warranty had expired, but under the terms of my warranty the repairs should have been covered because the problem had been recorded before the expiration. Currie would not honor my warranty, and instead charged me $400 for the repair. Good luck getting these guys to repair your car unless your car's computer can spell out what the problem is for them...and then be prepared for some shady dealings. My suggestion is to find a good mechanic, and if you have to take your car to a dealer because of the warranty then find another dealer who actually understands what the terms of the contract are and will honor it. The one star is for Otis - the guy who gave me rides to the El station every time I had to drop my car off (3 times) for the same issue.

I went to Currie Motors just to see what incentives were out on the 2016 Chevy Trax. Tony greeted me with a friendly smile. I told him that I was just looking but I was interested in a Trax. He offered a test drive and didn't pressure me to buy right then. I was so impressed with his knowledge in professionalism that I made the decision to come back with my husband the following Saturday. I worked with Joe in the finance office original. I asked him about what it would take to refinance my current car and he explained my options very clearly. He ended up directing me to a salesmen who really helped me out as well. Terrell showed me a few cars that would help me get my payment where I wanted to be and into a brand new car. I ended paying a few more dollars a month but I got a car with a full warranty and it was brand new. Then I went back to see Joe for the final steps and he made it very clear and easy to see what I was getting and what I was paying for. I left a happy customer with my brand new impala 2016.

I showed up to the dealership without and appointment and was approached by Paul Biernacki within a few minutes. I was looking at a particular car that my friend recommended because he had purchased one and was happy with it. On November 27th, 2015 I purchased a 2015 Chevy Camaro. During the price negotiation I met a very pleasant sales representative, Eddie, who spoke to the finance department a few times while we worked out numbers. I was adamant on having my first payment in January. Considering I already had a vehicle in great working condition I was in no rush to purchase a new vehicle and was sure that we discussed my first payment being due in 45 days. All I had left to do was sign off on everything we agreed upon. The first week of January I receive frequent calls from Fifth Third Bank saying I was late on payments and owed almost $700. I came to discuss the matter with Joe in finance who was sarcastic and rude our entire conversation, stated nothing would be done, and then referred me to Pete his director. I came that following Tuesday to meet Pete, who ridiculously insinuated I was being dishonest about what the sales rep and I had agreed upon EVEN AFTER Eddie came into his office with me and stated that he did, in fact, tell me my payment would be due in 45 days due to what someone in the finance department had told him. At that moment Pete interrupted him and began interrogating him with finance trivia in attempts to prove a point to me by replacing the blame and stating, "Eddie, stop telling the customers this! I have never before felt more demeaned and am disgusted with such customer service. Out of everyone involved, Eddie was the only employee showing any type of genuine remorse for the error. He asked me to sit with him while he spoke to the bank to inform them if the issue and requested more time for the payment to be made. The bank agreed, Eddie made sure to state he appreciated my patience, and me and my family's business, and was here to help if I needed anything else and even apologized for the awful encounters with the finance department.

The overall experience was phenomenal. Upon arrival I felt excited after sales representative, Victor, introduced himself and greeted me with a "I can help you attitude". This guy even bought a bottled water and some chips for me after we sat down at his desk. He uncovered that I wanted to get an 8 cylinder truck. We went on a test drive on my soon to be 2015 Silverado high country. This man demoed the interior, exterior, towing capacity, engine size, on star services, Bluetooth etc. When we went back to the sales floor I found myself ringing the bell which alarms the entire staff and customers that I had purchased a new vehicle. This has been the best purchase car experience I have ever been a part of, thank you so much Victor for all your help and your determination to get me what I needed.

I just wanted to share my experience and express my appreciation with everyone about the quality of service I received from this dealership. I went into Currie Motors Chevy in Forest Park, IL. I had an appointment to meet with Ms. Nohemi Durham. Prior to our meeting she had corresponded with me about a particular Vehicle that I was interested in that was listed on their website. She was very prompt in getting back to me, and setting up a time to meet that suited both of our busy work schedules, she was very accommodating to mine , as I am a chef and work weird hours. When I arrived I was greeted by Ms. Nohemi, and she asked, "If I was ready to take that car home with me today", I smiled and said , "Absolutely", to which she replied, "Lets make that happen for you". She then took me for a ride in the vehicle that I was interested in and shared pertinent information with me regarding the car and its functions. We returned to the Dealership, and went in to her office and began the process of my offer and the financing of the vehicle.....They had a required down payment that was a bit out of my range and explained to Ms. Nohemi that I had an amount that I could do comfortably and she and the financial team went to work on it. I was a bit nervous because my credit wasn't great due to a "life happens" event several years ago, however I am happy to say that within a matter of 30-35 minutes and some good coffee I was that owner of the vehicle that I went there to get! They worked with me to help me acquire a great vehicle and at a comfortable payment amount. I just wanted to share this with everyone, and to say that I would Highly recommend Ms. Nohemi Durham and Currie chevy in Forest park, if you are looking for a great vehicle and team of people that care about you and will do their best to put you in the vehicle that you want, not the one they want for you! To Ms. Nohemi Durham and the Currie motors Team, I thank you for helping this chef, get the perfect car for my needs!! I will most definitely be back when I am ready to purchase another vehicle! This Chevrolet Impala Rocks!!!!! Love it!!!

I bought a Truck july 16 of 2015 from Corey the salesman and was trading in my 2014 camaro,.. I finally got a comfortable trade in value where I wasn't taking a huge loss from it so I decided to go with it.... Until today when I went to refinance the truck and was told my loan amount... I then decided to pull out the paperwork and found out that they had changed the numbers on me and quoted my trade in 3 grand less than what I was told I was getting.. Of course when I was signing the papers they flipped through so fast and make you feel rush I didn't properly look over them like I should of. I just felt I was taken advantage of. Im very furious.

I am very disappointed with the service I received from your establishment. I went in because of a notice I received about a recall on my car. My key could be pulled from the ignition and the car could still run. I took the car to your establishment and they were able to fix the key but I was not satisfied. It turned out that my car wouldn't turn back on after shopping at Wal-Mart 2 days later. I had to inconvenience a family member who happened to look under the hood and notice that there were a few loose wires and the top on the battery was not tightened close. I called Mike Murphy, who had originally set me up and he explained that the repairman, Manny, should not have had any reason to even look under the hood in regards to the type of recall I had. In my opinion then, it seems as if a few things were not tightened on purpose to have me pay for the service to get it "fixed" since the recall was free. Mike Murphy did call back and explain that Manny did look under the hood and he may not have tightened everything but he offered me a free oil change, which did show great customer service, however I was not impressed with the loose wires and my car dying on me. Another issue I had was that I requested to have my original keys returned, which after countless conversations with online GM reps and your employees, I received two conflicting stories. Two GM reps explained your company was supposed to dispose of the keys and your service manager Chris Culver explained the GM rep was wrong and the original keys were broken and sent back to GM per their policy, I was still not convinced. I was extremely concerned because I didn't want anyone with my keys, whether they did or did not work on the new part, because if my car ended up being stolen, the first group of people I would have thought of would have been your employees. Chris Culver tried to spin it around and say "Well it's a 2005 Chevy, anyone can steal that car" which really ticked me off because that was not my point. I had been nothing but respectful to your employees and here your manager is getting sassy with me. I ended up not getting my original keys back and requested Mr. Culver write a note explaining he broke my keys and had them shipped to GM. My last problem was that the new keys they gave me didn't work if I wanted to open the door manually. I explained this to Chris and during our initial conversation he explained if it's not the key then they would have to repair the door cylinder for FREE. I was fine with that until he left a voicemail later explaining that he forgot to let me know that I would have to pay at maximum $15 dollars for the sales tax if they needed to order the part. Now I'm getting even more upset! I called Chris back and explained that I don't think I should have to pay for a part that isn't broken. I used my original spare key to unlock the door and it worked fine. So I say it's the new key your employees made for me that is the problem, wouldn't you think so? In response, your manager told me that he is not obligated to fix the car and he's doing me a favor. I really feel that statement put me over the edge because I had done nothing wrong and was simply disagreeing with your manager and he starts to get defensive because, in my opinion, he has to get me to pay for something. I feel your company is obligated to at least fix the new key they gave me because it doesn't work to the door. We did set up an appointment to try and have the key fixed but I will not agree to paying for anything if the parts need to be ordered because the door is fine, it's the new key that your company made that is not working. I also feel that your Manager, Chris Culver needs to work on his customer service skills. I will not be bringing my car back to your establishment and will not recommend your services to anyone who asks. I have already written a yelp review on the horrible service I received. and quite frankly, it's your manager Chris Culver who influenced the note and the yelp review. He came off quite condescending and his remarks implicated that all he wants is money and doesn't care about customer satisfaction.

I contacted Nohemi she scheduled me an appointment with Daniel right away. Daniel explained I should allow my car to heat up before driving (which is VERY TRUE). I am not one to often go and write reviews, but in this case I feel it is merited since the team at Curry Chevy did a remarkable job throughout the entire experience. Nick Ristich and Joey B not only gave us a great deal on both our trade in as well as our new purchase, but they made the process enjoyable from the moment we walked in the door to the moment we drove out of the parking lot and as many know, that isnt easy when spending that sum of money. They went way above and beyond with their kindness and courtesy, product knowledge, clear and simple explanations of the product and process, making my wife and two young children comfortable, assisting with all of the other little things including and not limited to even helping try to peel off the parking permit sticker and transferring it to the new vehicle, etc. My dirty truck even got a bath while we waited. I cant think of a moment of disappointment or stress during the experience. When it is my turn for a new truck, I will undoubtedly be looking at how to get to Currie Motors and requesting these same gentlemen to help me out with it. Thank you both and your team in making this the best buying experience on could imagine.

I went into my dealership last night to see if it would be worth my while to trade in my 2013 Equinox LT for a 2015 Equinox LT. My 2013 was in great shape, low miles and all, but I wanted the newer one if I could swing it. The salesman I worked with was Mr. Joe Bolkovitz (everyone calls him "Joey B", because he isn't the only "Joe" working there). Joey was very helpful and patient and worked along with the business manager, Pete Trauscht, and dealership manager, Leo Sfikas, to work the deal so that I could get my new car. It takes time and patience, and a sense of humor to be good at sales so that people keep coming back - plus being upfront with customers. That is what I think. They need to make a buck, that is fair, and I wanted the best deal I could, so that is where the discussions went. They were great. And, I've got my new car. :-)

I have bought many new vehicles in my life and I am a hard person to deal with I usually get someone pissed off after making a deal. This was the first time buying a new vehicle I can say everyone involved with making me happy had patients. I purchased a Chevy Colorado pick up truck and had to go back for a bed-liner I did not expect a loaner but my salesman Dwayne insisted I get one. Joe Bolkovitz is the only salesperson you'll ever want to deal with. He was extremely transparent through the whole process and was not your typical aggressive salesman. He was understanding and extremely easy to work with.I spent a solid month looking for a car, and I went to countless dealerships test driving numerous new and used vehicles. I had stopped in at Currie prior to working with Joe and they couldn't set me up with a test drive in time, as I was on my lunch break from work, but after another lunch break visit, Joe made sure I got to test drive a car, and took care of me from then on.Other dealerships and salespeople made me feel on edge and like I wasn't in control of my car shopping situation. Not true with Currie and Joe. Come here when you want to buy a car and ask for Joe Bolkovitz. You won't meet a nicer salesman, you won't get a better price, and you won't have a better experience anywhere else.

At first we were looking at buying a used car but found that the ones I like were about 10K less then a new car. My father in law told us about John and then on a Saturday we decided to take a run out to Currie Motors. We met John and he greeted us and let us know that he was currently with another customer and asked if we wanted someone else but we choose to stick with him. He finished up with his other customer and then showed us then gave us first rate service. We ended up buying a new car and with the incentives that they were able to find I was only several thousand more then a used car. All of the used cars we have seen had at least 20K miles at a minimum. So my decision was easy cause of what they were able to do for me.

I came into the dealer to purchase a car and was very nervous being a single woman. I met Dustin at the front desk and he was great! I came in knowing what I wanted and having done my research, yet I was skeptical. Dustin spoke to me about all the options available and the changes in price, yet wasn't pushy. I was previously working with a different Chevy Dealer in Lyons. After a terrible experience and 3 weeks of back and forth, I decided to try a different dealer. After working with Joe B, I now have the exact Traverse I was looking for and had a very good experience at this location. I absolutely love this location and all those who work to keep it afloat. I recently purchased a 2014 Chevy Malibu because I no longer felt safe in my 2010 Chevy HHR due to the recall. John Gallo worked diligently to get the best deal and vehicle for me. The one thing that must be said about John, is that he truly has his customer's best interest at heart, when I was unsure and anxious during the process he reassured my mother and I that he would take care of us and he did. It wasn't just running back and forth to the finance department, or giving me updates on what the bank said, it's the fact that he literally sat with us and just talked. He eased a lot of the worry that we had coming in and felt as we waited to see how things would turn out. After about 6 hours of hard work, he got me my Malibu. It is the best decision I could've made. John allows his customers to feel at home, it's as if you're just sitting at his kitchen table having coffee discussing daily life. I came back to Currie because I knew the service they provided was not just about a sale, it's about making a lasting relationship with each person who walks in, this is exactly what John has done. We had an appointment with John Gallo, at Currie Motors in Forest Park IL. John was waiting outside for us. We talked about what vehicle we were interested in purchasing. John asked what options we liked and our color preference. After our discussion John located the vehicle we wanted and brought it for a test ride. The test ride was long enough to get comfortable with the vehicle. John answered any questions we had.John and his manager worked up the deal. The price was right in the range we were looking for and our trade was price nicely. After the deal was completed other in the dealership came over and congratulated us. I went to this dealership to purchase a Camaro and to trade in my 2008 Impala which I still owe on and in a bad deal. I informed the dealer that I had $2000 down and could come up with another $1000 in less than a week. Informed him that I knew he had to add my negative equity into the new car and it didn't matter to me because I knew I was in a bad deal (financed at 29%) and at least my financing would be better and I'd be in the car I actually want which is a Camaro (I'm a die hard chevy man).My sales guy Dwayne Miller had me come in and go through all the paperwork, ran my credit and had me in this dealership from 9am-4pm on some lies and BS. He said I needed a cosigner and I got a cosigner. He and his crew are crunching numbers and just before I sign final paperwork, I ask him "So when you guys pay my car off, how's it going to show on my credit report?".My salesman told me, "we aren't buying your car, you just have to let your car go and the payments of the Camaro will make your credit look better". When I asked what he meant he said, "just let your car get repossessed, you getting the car you want, don't worry about it".I CANNOT believe a salesman would tell me to let my car get repo, go on my credit and have them garnish my wages for a car I don't have to just put me in a car from his dealership. I demanded my $2,000 back and left. I spent my whole day at this dealership this past Saturday. I even called my professor (Northwestern University) and missed class (1st day missed)....what a waste of a day and what a HORRIBLY BAD NAME Currie Chevrolet in Forest Park has with me and all the people I know that buy cars on a regular and want a Camaro!I wish the owner on GM could read this review.....they have some serious apologizing to do. I may start a blog about this experience!

Purchased used 2006 HHR on 7-6/2012. Was told all trade-ins received a thorough 100 point check & repairs to be able to sell only the finest pre-owned cars. I had researched the vehicle & thought the price was fair. Asked "out the door price" & was told $8159. Drove 2hours to the dealership, looked the car over, drove it, & said that I'd take it. The price increased to $8871 - said there was taxes & such to add. Currie wouldn't honor the original "out the door" price. Looked the maintenance reports over & still took the car. ..before leaving Currie, found taillight out, brake light out, license plate light out, outside mirror switch broken, no owners manual. All of which Currie agreed to repair & deliver to a halfway meeting point. 7-7/2012, Currie employees met me & gave me the keys to my HHR -out of gas w/59 miles left in the tank & no owners manual or remote/keyless entry FOB. Called Nick at Currie right away, said he'd secure the missing articles & get them to me. Waited 2 weeks, nothing, but the HHR is a great vehicle & worked into my company fleet perfectly. Purchased an owners manual on EBAY. Started emailing on the Currie site, nothing but computer generated replies. Called & left my info & messages to contact me w/ Monique McCarty twice in late July..nothing. Finally called the General Mgr who said "sometimes people keep the FOBs". I replied the FOB is the cars' equipment, if the people kept the jack & spare tire would Currie do anything to remedy the situation? Guess the HHR only had a 98 point check. GM said he'd check into getting the FOB & call me back . 8-19/2012 still waiting...

Currie Motors is an interesting place. I originally went into the dealership to look at the new 2012 Chevy Sonic but ended up looking at the 2012 Cruze too. I'm not a big fan of the layout; I felt that the salesmen were awkwardly bunched together in a corner right at the entrance doorway and that the large open desk area in the middle of the showroom floor reminded me of a high school cafeteria/DMV. That said, I got lucky and met one of the best salesmen there, Chevy Cook. I would recommend anyone visiting Currie Motors to ask for him. He is very friendly and patient, traits not nomrally seen in many salesmen. The thing I like most about Mr. Cook is that he is willing to tell you the straight truth. He talked earnestly about what to expect in regards to maintenance, insurance, financing, and any deals he could get through the dealership. He even went out of his way to skip his dinner with the office holiday party to talk about the Sonic and Cruze with me. He is a true professional. Although I ultimately did not purchase a Chevy, I would recommend paying a visit to Currie Motors if you are looking at Chevys and to please take the time to work with Mr. Chevy Cook.

I took my car to get fixed because of noise I was hearing, car shaking, and other things going on. I told Daniel my problems & he assured me that everything would be taken care of. More things other what I told him was found & wasn't fixed without my approval luckily majority that was mentioned was covered by the extended warranty. Daniel always go an extra mile than he should as a Service Advisor, other dealerships I've dealt with never go out their way to get something done. Mike Murphy is always so helpful and courteous when I come into the dealership to get an oil change or other repairs to my car. On my last trip there, my car was rattling and needed an oil change. I am 7 months pregnant and had my kindergartner with me that visit, so he worked hard to get me in and out of the dealership as soon as he could. He knows that my husband likes to be aware of any repairs done or of any problems with the car, so Mike always makes sure that he gives him a follow-up call the day of the service.

I was out of town visiting some family in Ill. when my car began to act sluggishly. I have no idea about how to fix anything in my car, so I was dumbfounded. I'm always a little cautious about approaching dealerships that I'm not familiar with, as my lack of vehicle knowledge leaves me vulnerable to dishonest mechanics. I called this dealership and spoke to Mike and explained to him what the symptoms of my car was. He recognized the problem and explained over the phone what to do to fix it. He was able to clearly communicate with me (a person with limited mechanical vocabulary) how to do what to get my car running smoothly again.He saved me time and money that a dishonest mechanic might have charged me.If I lived in the area, I'd be sure to go back. I told my family about the place too.

I am very skeptical of having my car serviced at Dealerships. Every where I go seems to take advantage of the fact that I am a woman and no little about cars. It is so bad, that I drag my brother who formerly was a mechanic before his injury with me, or have him call about the service required on my car after they quote me a price. Everywhere I go, they try to add these "needed" services, making it sound life or death. When my car broke down, I tried Currie Motors. I am always pleased with Currie Motors. I have allowed them to service my car since 2008. Their customer service is very good and that is over the phone and in person. I had an issue with my car. The back door would not close, it would just pop back open. I had to rig the car. On 12-13-10, I called Currie to see how much a new lock would cost. I was quoted a price of $122. I called several other dealerships and the prices were much higher. The closest price was $163. I went to the dealership and pulled in the service station. An employee name Mike came to assist me. He wanted to take a look at the door. I asked if he undid the door, would he help me rig it back up since the part had to be ordered and wouldn't be available until the next day, 12-14-10. He took a look at it, and came back with some foam. My door was simply frozen and not broken!! I felt so blessed. Although I am accustomed to receiving great customer service from Currie, this validated the fact that they don't try to get over on their customers. Mike could have easily had me order the part and pay for installation. I honestly thought it was broke. Instead, he told the truth and was so happy about helping me and making me happy. Currie Motors really has something going and their motto, "Nice people to do business with" is very fitting. Mike, I can't thank you enough. In these hard economic times when I was not prepared for such an emergency, especially during the holidays. Your helpfulness was very appreciated. Thanks Mike!

Monique was very helpful and friendly. She seemed to really care about my needs. I felt very comfortable with her like we've been friends forever! Once there, Monique helped me realized that I was not financially ready to buy the car that I wanted and gave me some tips to prepare for when I was ready. The team was very attentive and explained things every step of the way and when I expressed further concern they went the extra mile to rectify things and get my son`s car fixed appropriately. Normally if a customer questions a mechanic you get stonewalled or placated, instead Mike went further to look into the problem. I was having with my brakes and seen that it was corrected.

I usually dread going to a car dealership to look at cars. It can be very overwhelming and the sales people can be very pushy. That was not at all the case when I walked into this dealership. A young lady Monique came over to help me with all of my questions and concerns and seemed sincerely interested in my needs and not so much a sale. When I told her my price range and what I was looking for, she showed me ONLY the vehicles that met those requirements! That is rare! John is a very friendly person. He was very thorough on which car wouldn't use a lot of gas for the amount of miles I drive back and forth to work. Because I'm a woman I thought I would get a person who would say anything to sell me a car but John was not like that. He considerate and answered all my questions. I have a great experience workingwith Currie Motors. I called before hand and ask for a salesman. I was introduce to John Smith. I spoke with him briefly over the phone. I ask the question, if they work with customers that had a Pre-Authorzied check to buy a car from Capital One. John Smith said yes. This was Oct 27, 2010. Wednesday Night. It was cold and very wind that night. Mr. Smith said you stay inside and let me bring the car to you, he was so polite, he brought it to the entrance where we the cars comes in for service. I would say, that was above the call of duty to satisfy a customer. I look at only o ne vehicle that night. Guess What, I bought the only Van that he drove in to the entrance. It was Pre-Owned and it was a beauty. Mr. Smith comment was, I wanted to show you something that I knew you would like. It was a great experience and yes, I will tell other. My brother bought a Crysler 300C from Currie also. My dream car is the Crysler 300C. Just maybe my dream car will be reality. Thank you

I absolutely HATE the process of puchasing a new vehicle. Why you may ask?? We all know why, because most salespeople have a "buy it now or its gone" mentality and for me, that is a bunch of BS. I went to a Chevy dealership in Elgin and the salesman was trying to put me in anything, saying, "no problem if you have bad credit or if loan amount is too much, we know people at the banks." Yeah, I really want to trust this idiot. I left there furious at 3:30 on a Friday and said there was no way I was taking the toll-way, so I took the back way home. Made a pit stop for a pop and overheard some workers talking about Currie Chevy and how they felt they got a great deal and was impressed with the entire process. So, I stopped in and right off the bat you could tell it was a dealership that wanted to make you happy, not just going for a sale. I said I just wanted to look around, no pressure, that was a first. I had many questions (usually the place "doesn't know") and the salesman I spoke with was awesome!! Down to earth, no sales pitch, understood my financial issues and he, well actually his name is John Smith, helped me by giving me options and said if I needed time to decide, no worries, we will still be here. If you are looking for a new vehicle, please, go to Chevy Currie Motors and ask for John Smith, he will give you a new opinion about the buying process!!!

First Service experience at a new dealer - I worked with a gentleman named Mike in the service area, he was a very informative and helpful individual. He suggested additional services of getting an oil change and to get my tires rotated in addition to the service which I had come in for (Service light). All of the services were completed in a timely manner (car was promised on Wednesday and recieved done that day). Very smooth and pleasant experience compared to previous service departments/repair shops I have worked with over the years. I would reccommend the dealer and service department to anyone who asks.

I had to bring my car back to the dealer on account of the leather seats in my car keep coming loose around the bottom front, and there was a recall on the seatbelts in my car. my service agent was very professional and polite, and imformative. However;I was't that happy with one Pat Cloney, if I ask you a question I expect to be answered trufully, the first time I had taken the car in to have the seats looked at he said that they were going to fix it there , when it was going to have to be sent out to someone else. I don't like that at all!!

Mike was very professional from start to finish. Brought my car to pepboys before i brought the car in they said my front and rear brakes were both bad and needed to be replaced. Mike had a tech look at it. Front pads and rotors needed to be replaced. He saved me a ton of money. I will be bringing my car back for repairs just for how i was treated by your dealership. When this vehicle was not passing the Cook County "Emissions Test", Dan had a tech. take the vehicle to the testing station. We did not ask Dan to do this. I first visited Currie Motors and purchased a used 2008 Dodge Nitro on October 3rd. The sale went smoothly and the 2 salesmens I worked with did a great job of being honest and up front about anything and everything asked. Approx a month later I noticed a big issue with my car. There was water in the carpeting from some unknown source and the carpet began to smell of mildew and mold. I immediatly contacted my salesman, Chris Gorski and I had my car to him two days later. I live approx. 1 hour away from the dealership so I was given a loaner car and sent on my way. To be very honest, I was a little concerned about how this whole process was going to go and wondered if in fact Currie Motors was going to be "nice people to do business with" - since that is their moto. My salesman was in constant contact with me keeping me updated on the whole process. My car was being looked at by service members for days until the leak was found and fixed. Then there was the issue of the smell to deal with which was taken care of. My car was with Currie Motors for 9 days total. I was very pleased to see the time and effort they took to make sure the leak was found, fixed and the smell was removed from my vehicle.A big thanks to my salesman Chris Gorski for being so awesome as well as the service team for taking the time to look for the leak as well as fixing it. I guess the bottom line about Currie Motors is....they ARE nice people to do business with !!!

I do not usually go to dealerships for car repairs because I've heard they are a rip off. But so was my mechanic. I had purchase a car last year from Currie Motors and was very pleased with the service. So when I needed the usual maintenance and check ups I thought I would try the dealership. What a experience. I was immediately greeted by Daniel who not only LISTENED to my concerns assured me he would let me know what needed to be done and would not fix anything without me approval. He was very knowledgeable and courteous, so within half hour I was told what needed to be fixed. So again being a little skeptical I figured here we go this is going to cost an arm and leg. WRONG. Daniel asked if I would like to wait or come back, if I wanted to come back he would arrange a ride home for me and a pick up. I was to impressed, I decided to wait because he said it would only take about half hour to hour. Meanwhile I was escorted to a lounge where there was coffee, TV, and food. When my car was done not only was it fixed it was washed and vacuumed. This will be my new place to come for all repairs and maintenance. Thank you Daniel you are the best.P.S. I STILL HAVE BOTH MY ARMS AND LEGS.

I recommend Currie Motors to anyone who is looking to buy a new or a used car. I bought a used Chrystler Sebring. I received amazing service. Everyone I dealt with was great to work with starting with Sales to Finance. The atmosphere around the dealership was very pleasant. Best of all, the sales people did not harass me. They advised me when I needed the advise, but did not pressure me to make a purchase. I am very happy with the treatment I received and would recommend Currie Motors to my family and friends.

This dealership was a great dealership to go to. The customer service was excellent and Tony helped a lot in making the right decision to buy my car. As soon as I got there, the guidance was excellent of where I have to go and whom I have to talk to. All of my question were answered and I received great satisfaction in the answers I received. The moment I was content with my answers, I was sure that if I have to buy another car I will definitely go back to Currie motors. It is truly meant when they say 100% satisfaction guaranteed.

Went into the dealer to just shop around. Had already done some research on what we were looking for. Didn't feel too much pressure for an immediate sale. Got a chance to ask lots of questions, take the cars for a drive and look at our options before we had to decide on a purchase. Walked out with a brand new 'Nox... Good dealer and sales consultant.
