I had excellent experience with my search, finding, and the final purchase of my new car with this dealership. Everyone in the team that helped me throughout the whole process was extremely helpful. Especially the sale representative, Mo, who was cordial, knowledgeable, skilled, efficient, honest, and helpful from our first phone conversation to the test drive, selecting, purchase, and the final delivery of my new car at my driveway .He took his time and patiently explained and answered every question I had. He went extra miles on everything he did throughout the process. This was one of my best experiences with car buying which could be stressful and even scary at time. If I want to buy a car again or recommend it to my family and friends, I definitely know where to go. I also wanted to mention that this place has the largest selection of the model that I was looking for, and I had looked real hard for a long time! Thanks again for the exceptional work!

Last week was my daughter's first experience with DARCARS Volvo on her recently purchased 2016 XC60, and we could not be more pleased. We had previous very good service from DARCARS Jeep, so this was not really a major surprise. Yet due to a glitch in the initial extended warranty information from Volvo, there was some initial frustration (no fault of DARCARS.) However, their service manager was as gracious as he was professional in ultimately getting our repair done timely, and making sure we were availed of our loaner long enough to complete the slightly distended process. Kudos to him and his team, who we look forward to dealing with in future.

The sales person, Jack was helpful but not pushy. The General Sales Manager, Alex Pedram worked with us with patience and flexibility until we settled on a vehicle that we were happy at a competitive price. Mr. Alexander Aman exemplified the meaning of truly exceptional service by driving behind our car upon leaving the dealership when he noticed that we had accidentally turned off the headlights. He followed us to our destination and made sure we turned them back on and were safely back on the road.

I have been a service customer for my S80's for over 18 years at Darcars Volvo and always received "excellent" service and care from Tom Magnum, Service Advisor and Haroon Khan, Service Manager. (I had a personal friend that worked at Volvo out of town that I purchased cars from in the past). I loved my S80's but it was time for a bigger vehicle, considering that I have 2 large dogs that like to travel with me. I knew I wanted a XC90! Walking in the Darcars showroom on a Friday afternoon, I met with Alex Padram, Sales Manager who provided me with thorough details on the vehicles, options available and amazing road tests. My decisions were pretty easy. I only had to worry about the color selections! Alexander Arman, General Manager introduced himself to me and he and his sales team treated me like I was the most important person in the world. It was a fabulous purchasing experience.Cristela Torres, Sales Advisor, spent as much time as I needed to review all of the features and benefits of this vehicle. Cristela was extremely patient and answered question after question for me. We were able to visit the dealership on a Sunday when other dealerships like BMW were closed. The customer service was exceptional. Our sales rep, Daniel Ortiz, let us look at all the XC90 inventory on the lot and effortlessly let us take a test drive. He showed us all the new features on the 2016 XC90 and we fell in love with the car. The GM, Alexander Arman, personally came out to meet with us and gave us an immediate quote on leasing, however they didn't have the car with the color and features we wanted on the lot and we wanted to shop around before we made our final decision. Mr. Arman asked us what our must haves were and less than a week later we got a message from Mr. Ortiz telling us that Mr. Arman found our car and when would we like to come in and see it. We checked out a Volvo dealership in Virginia and when we told them about what Darcars Volvo of Rockville offered us they told us that they couldn't come close to the same offer. We drove straight to Rockville and leased the car from Darcars Volvo. We met again with our sales rep and the GM. We also met with Dante Marino and Mike Kesavarz who made the financial paperwork a breeze.

When I first time walked in Darcars Volvo, the new XC90 is just on the market. There was no real demo car yet. Danny gave me a warm welcome and promised to let me know when test drive is available. After 3 months, I almost forgot my visit when receiving Danny's call. After that everything goes very well. Danny was very passionate introducing all available cars for us. I am a long-time Volvo owner and DARCARS is absolutely, by far, the worst dealership I've ever encountered. I would NEVER buy a car from them. After filing a complaint about them having sold a car out from under me while the paperwork was being completed, their Customer Service Rep Jamie contacted me and said she would follow-up within a day. That was 2 weeks ago, still haven't heard from her. They are untrustworthy from top to bottom.

I can not speak highly enough of the great service we received at DARCARS Volvo. From the moment we called (late at night) to say we were on our way over to see what they had in xc60's, our experience was professional, friendly, and attentive. I was 100% satisfied with my service consultation and plans for resolution of my issues. I always like having the opportunity to speak with you prior to bringing my car in for service, which allows me to determine the level of severity of the problem. Should I drive in or have the car towed in or whatever. Thanks for your warm welcome, reassuring smiles, service explanations and options, the coupon discount and all you do to make my visit pleasant.After the service diagnostics test, Roberto comes out with a smile and greetings. Then he opens up the print -outs which shows the test results which indicate sensor # 4 is the one most in need of being replaced. I also learned there are four sensors,-two in front and two in the back. So we agreed to replace one at this time.As always, I always enjoy that Haroon takes time from his busy routine to chat with me about the weather, my car and its problems ( smiles). He is always knowledgeable about my car and the options for service and repairs.I continue to feel very comfortable with bringing my car to 355 Volvo because I have confidence in the service repairs and the service personnel who is always available to answer questions and to provide any accommodation possible. I missed seeing Regina this time but was greeted nicely by the porters and other personnel. Last month I had the absolute BEST experience working with Dante (Sales Manager) and Alexander (GM) to purchase a used vehicle at Darcars Volvo. I saw the car advertised in the web and sent an inquiry. Within hours I was contacted and with in a few hours I was contacted by the dealership.It was a great experience - everyone at the dealership had a smile, were helpful, very professional, and courteous in in the whole process. The GM - Alexander Arman was understanding to my needs and offered the deal I wanted. The other staff were in tuned to my needs and not was their agenda (to get a sale). Price negotiation experience was the best I have ever gone through. Well, what can I say? I have been getting cars from this dealership since 2006...so far 7! I can't get enough of the cars (gorgeous, sporty, sleek, elegant, safe - I can go on and on). Latest beauties - XC60 and S60, which are hot! The guys that work there are friendly, courteous, and make sure I leave there happy. I have worked with Danny a few times and love his sense of humor. I found my new car on the Volvo dealer website... a V60 wagon in a color other than black is hard to find! Darcars not only had the car in the color I wanted, but with all the features I wanted and nothing more. To top it all off, the price was incredible. So I called Darcars and my buying experience was so simple. I live in Cincinnati, but was flying through Baltimore so I could pick it up a week later and drive it home. I arranged everything over the internet and Charles & Alexander took great care of me. The process could not have been easier. Thank you Alexander & Charles, and all of the staff at Darcars. Darcars delivers even more than the high level of quality that you would expect from Volvo. They are not pushing for a sale, they just want you to love Volvos. The service department was bent on replacing a DIM module when the instrument cluster went out. They had already replaced the CEM module and told them that it only goes out when it rains. They do not listen and insist that the DIM module needs to be replaced. Think that I replaced the CEM module for no reason since it is the exact same symptoms. Working with VOLVO directly and getting a second opinion. That was the last time that I will go to their dealership. It was sucking a lot of money each time.

This is my second review just because my first one was in mandarin and was rejected. Darcars Volvo placed a sale ad in local Chinese newspaper. With that newspaper I walked in the dealership, talk to Biyun briefly and handed her the newspaper, told her my intentionand. Shortly I had the car I want and driven home. I am very pleased and satisfied with their professional services. Thank you very much to both of you, Biyun and Alex. After couple months of driving my XC60 2015.5, I am so glad that I bought this car. It is fun to drive and feel very safe. Most importantly that the gas mileage exceed my expectations to above 30 miles per gallon. I strongly recommend this car to whoever thinking buying a new car.

I found myself a definitely Volvo lover since owning my first Volvo S60 twelve years earlier. I now have third one because Volvo keeps making cars with more great features that I love. Just highlight a few small touches in here: 1, Rear Park Assist Camera. I now cannot imagine driving a car without this feature because I would feel blind. 2, Blind Spot Information (BLIS) package. It alerts blind spots and cameras assist me for front and rear parking. 3, Engine stops running when I stop at a red light. I guess this feature saves me some money on gas without me even knowing it. Also, I just cannot believe I enjoy the quietness that I never experienced. 4, The warranty and maintenance program are quite attractive. 5, Financial plan is fair. Buying a Volvo at DARCARS Volvo in Rockville is always a pleasant experience. I don't recall I bargained with them. I believe I paid what the car I had purchased worth. I automatically trusted general manager Alexandra Arman had offered me a fair price. Absolutely business makes profit! In my opinion, people should spend money, you shop here and there, he shops there and here....., this way we all help each other and move forward; otherwise how this economy "thing" grow and how we walk out of this recession? I am still happy even I know they made money on me. Sales person who helped me name Biyun Hu, she is the kind of person you want to be a friend of hers after buying a car from her. Trustful is the word I would use to describe her. I think DARCARS VOLVO in Rockville made a wise investment by hiring Biyun Hu to their sales force. By the way, last Monday I showed general manager Alexandra Arman some pictures of my windshield with some funny strips in raining days, we thought the glass was grease, they washed and sent report to the VOLVO. I got a call from Biyun Hu right after driving away, scheduled the following Monday which is today to bring my car in. I assumed it would be getting the windshield wipers replaced. Guess what? They replaced windshield! I am good to go because of the warranty program.

I came to DARCARS Volvo of Rockville very late on Saturday, and don't expect too much to find an ideal car, then the sales consultant Biyun Hu welcome me with warm greetings, and patiently introduced all possibles choices of Cars in their dealership. Ms. Biyun Hu has good knowledge of Volvo cars, and most importantly, she helped me to think in my own position and my need. Ms Hu never pressure me to order anything I may not need, but explained to me patiently what are those choices. After certain discussions, I narrowed down what package/car I need, then Ms Hu showed me the car patiently and showed me various functions the car has. I was very happy with the functions the car has, but had a little doubt on the color which I like it, but I may prefer a slightly different one. Ms. searched the record, and going through the parking lot, and we found the color I like the best. Again Ms. Hu found the key, let me to sit in to show me all the functions the car have. Very soon I was very happy about the car, and we started to discuss about the price. Ms. Hu introduced me to her very nice manager, very soon they offered me a very good price I could not refuse based on my experiences with other Volvo dealerships (around 5), so I happily accepted the offer, and the next day I came to the DARCARS Volvo of Rockville to do paper work. Again, Ms. Hu is very patient, and knowledgeable to help me, the gentlemen at the finance is very professional and friendly, he explained to me what I need to do clearly, and went through the paper work very quickly. During the process Ms. Hu's manager is very nice to offer his help and greetings. Very soon I got the car keys for the car I like, the temporary tag, the finance plan, insurance etc. and ready to go. I would say my experiences here is very nice and I am very happy.

I found a car on Autotrader that led me all the way to MD. The guys in the dealership tried the usual, but then there was this unassuming young woman with a deadpan sense of humor who immediately got it. Intelligent, determined, Alexandra never pressured me to do anything. Instead, she gave me the space and time I needed. She quietly and diligently prepared the paperwork while I gave this some more thought, made arrangements with bank and insurance, and came back to buy the car. Excellent experience -- from first communication through end of process. I had been looking for about 2 months and had visited 9 different dealerships (including dealerships in NC) but wasn't able to find a car that met all of my requirements (white exterior, beige interior, certified, low miles, sunroof AND under 20K) until I came across my car while searching online. And much to my surprise, the experience was painless - - actually quite nice. I bought a 2015 Volvo S60 (which I love) and did it quickly. Hmm where to start... Alright so I get approved for an auto loan privately. I start looking for cars and I find DarCars Volvo in Rockville MD. I call the dealership and get in contact with a man named Sam. Out of everyone here he was the most genuine and seemed the most trustworthy. They had both a BMW z4 and an Infinti G37s. These two cars were my #1 and #2 picks for vehicles. DarCars had both of them sitting on there lot in Rockville and both had low miles 40k +/- I decided to make the 2 hour drive and test drive them both. Once on the lot I test drive the BMW then the Infiniti. After the test drive and contacting insurance I decided to commit and make the purchase for the BMW. I figure no big deal a Volvo dealer is suppose to be luxury so the BMW should be solid. Sam takes my check and hands me over to the sales manager. I tell the sales manager I'm willing to make the deal if they can make it work with my loan. I asked him if I could get all the fees and everything included in the loan. He said "Yea, No Problem". They tell me to contact my insurance and get everything set up so I do. Once I get the insurance paid for and the paperwork forwarded they sit me down with Ben Elkins. He tells me that he needs $1000+/- because the loan only covers 110% LTV. I get kind of angry at this point and tell him that the other manager told me he can work everything in the loan. Ben then tells me that's not the case. At this point I'm really mad because I just committed to 6 months of insurance. He knows he has me hooked so he gives me another option. He said he can "hold a check" for part or all of the money. I tell him I can pay $500 cash and he can "hold" a check for the remaining $500. He agreed and told me he could "hold" it for two weeks. I figure that's fine, two weeks is more then enough time to come up with the rest of the $$$. I sign all the purchase papers and leave with the vehicle. A few days later Ben calls my cell, my house, my work, texts me and emails me multiple times telling me that he messed up the paperwork. He told me I need to sign a new purchase order $10 more. LoL really $10 more. It was a Labor Day weekend and I was super busy. He blew up all methods of contact multiple more times until I had a chance to get Ink for my printer. Finally I get the Ink and send it to him. I emailed him last Thursday to let him know I sent everything in that he asked for. I also let him know that I put a Money Order in the mail for the remaining $500. I asked him to get rid of the check once he received the money order. It was sent USPS so it arrived the next day. He told me that 4 banking days was not enough notice to cancel a check and that I signed some sort of agreement with some sketchy loan shark check guarantee firm. He said it was too late and that my check will be withdrawn regardless if he has the money order or not! I put a stop payment on the check over the weekend and pleaded with him to just cash the money order instead of the check. Ben never got back with me after that last email. I check my credit union today and the check bounced back. DarCars lied to my face, used predatory sales tactics, and made my whole auto purchase a terrible experience. I wouldn't recommend these shysters to my worst enemy. You might ask yourself "Well how's the BMW"? Other then selling me a car with 1/2 tank of gas and a bunch of headaches. The car developed a rough idle a few days into owning it. Come to find out DarCars never changed the full synthetic oil before I bought it. The computer told me there was 2000 miles left on 15,000 mile oil. When I drained the synthetic oil it was dirty and black. There "inspection" was a joke... I personally changed the oil, cleaned the VANOS Solenoids, and replaced the filters. If I wasn't knowledgable with BMW's this servicing would have cost me close to $1000. Now the car runs like a dream... Thanks DarCars. YOU'VE BEEN WARNED, GO ELSEWHERE!!!

I would like to commend Biyun Hu and Alexander Arman for their excellent and informative service when I traded in my son's 2011 Volvo sedan. Biyun was very courteous and answered all of my annoying questions!! Alexander is a perfect gentleman and made the entire process a pleasure. I would be remiss if I didn't give extra high "marks" to Mark Filipovic -- his finesse with his computer in preparing the financial items is to be envied. And, today, he literally went the "extra" mile when he hand-delivered the check for the trade-in. All-in-all, the DarCar experience was the best I've ever had at any dealership. Again, kudos to all.

The General Manager, Alexander, took the time to run through all of our options with us (who knew there were so many options for a single car model!), gave us a great price that we could all agree on and we drove out of the dealership in record timing! We had a very positive car-buying experience at this dealership. When we were still in the shopping and test-driving stages, the sales staff was attentive, but not overly so. Our salesman, Charles Grant, clearly loves his job and the Volvo product and is a fountain of knowledge--and enthusiasm. I'm a repeat customer - leased my 2012 Volvo S60 from DarCars and could have turned in the car and gone elsewhere, but I loved the car and wanted a new one. No one from the original sales team was still working there but everyone I dealt with, including Mr. Arman, was very professional and pleasant. Although it still took several hours to complete the deal (I wish there were some way around that), the time went by quickly. My only complaint is that it took them several weeks to turn the paperwork in for the car I turned in that I received a much smaller refund of the last month's payment on the vehicle I was turning in, so combined, I made three payments within 6 weeks (last month of old, 1st and 2nd months for new).

I've bought and leased a few volvos from different dealerships in the area and was always disappointed by the experience. Either the sales force was overly aggressive and even asking if I needed to call or bring my husband by. Funny because I know more about cars than he does and I always negotiate his car deals as well. I finally found the dealership that I'll come back to! Massey and Armon were honest and sincere - I didn't feel like I needed to take a shower after I left the dealership. They negotiated quickly and with a great price. To the staff at Darcar Volvo in Rockville. I am very gratefull for all you done for me at Darcars. Mr. Arman and Mr. Nichols was wonderful! I, first purchase a 2003 Mazda when they gave me a loaner which was a 2012 Mazda 6, I felled in love with the loaner once I drove it off the lot. The service was excellent. Everybody was professional. I, highly recommend this dealership to any of my friends or anybody want to buy a car. At, first I think that I jumped to fast. I was in need of a car because of my husband and my health. Mr. Arman was very sincere and so was Mr. Nichols my salesperson. I was frustrated when I wrote my first review. I mean everybody was nice and friendly at this dealership. I have purchase plenty of cars before. This was a beautiful experience. Instead of ramping and getting upset, I should have told Mr. Arman or Mr. Nichols about the 2003 Mazda, instead of blasting this company. So, I am truly sorry for what I stated. I went from the first model in 2010 to the latest 2014 and I absolutely love it!! I have returned to Darcars Rockville,because they have always taken good care of me, in addition to the service advisors. I consider the whole team an extension to my family. They took really good care of me; they walked me step by step throughthe process and actually LISTENED. They werent selling me what they wanted to, but what I wanted to get into. There were a lot of hurdles I had to overcome due to some negative past experiences which were reflected on my credit report. However, with the ability to negotiate with all their partners and show my positive improvement over the last few years, the sales team was able to negotiate an outstanding financing rate for me.They were also very helpful and knowledgeable with the cars on their lot. They helped put me in a rental on their expense during the wait period for my approval which was unheard of since there was still a chance for the bank to disapprove. At the end of the day, I got the car I had my eye on and I was dealt with very professionally.

I have a pretty bad auto history - a repossession and voluntary surrender of 2 vehicles in the last decade. Combining this with my poor credit history, I figured that I was destined to be car-less for the next decade. I have a good job and I was able to save some money for a modest down payment but my credit problems were going to make me undesirable for any financing. With nothing to lose, I contacted Alexander Arman, the GM at Darcars Volvo and told him my situation. He was kind and understanding - he never made me feel remotely ashamed or uncomfortable about sharing my auto failures. Mr. Arman offered to work with me and see if I might be able to purchase a car at the dealership. He never made any promises however; he was willing to give me a chance - if you've ever had credit issues then, you understand how huge this was for me! Mr. Arman connected me with Mark Filipovic in the Financing Department. Mark is hands down the best finance person I've ever met. He was friendly, thorough and again, non-judgmental about my credit history. He had a few ideas of companies that might finance me and immediately contacted them. Amazingly enough, Mark got me financed! I had a lot of great car options because they have a huge auto inventory (they even brought a car from another dealership for me to look at when I expressed interest in it). I was able to get into a car that same day - I have a reasonable monthly payment and a good rate too! And the car? It was one of the 5 at the top of my wish list! It was the BEST auto buying experience that I have ever had and I tell everyone I know about the great team at Darcars Volvo. They treated me with respect, were helpful in every way possible from financing to assessing car options and they made me feel like a valued customer from Minute One! I definitely recommend DARCARS Volvo, especially since Alexander Arman returned as General Manager. I got my first car there in 2000, and a second car for my spouse in 2003 (it was a deal I couldnt pass up). The dealership won my trust and I had my cars serviced there, even after I moved to Springfield. This is mostly due to Alexander Armans most gracious, customer service, the best I had ever experienced at any dealership. He clearly understands the importance of trust and makes sure that his sales and service personnel give the same customer service as he does. When he left the dealership a few years back, it wasnt quite the same. Lucky for me, while I was trying to decide whether I should take my S60 to Darcars for a new timing belt, water pump, etc., I checked yelp reviews and found the recent reviews for Darcars were very high and one reviewer mentioned Alexander was back. My decision was made. For anyone who has ever had the pleasure to buy or service a volvo while Alexander was GM, they know why.

I have been taking my xc90 to Darcars Volvo for service for 10 years. Over those 10 years they have provided outstanding service. While I am sure I pay a slight premium over generic repair shops by using a Volvo Dealership for service, the peace of mind of dealing with real professionals is well worth it. They will fully explain the problem and solution as well as detail the cost. They perform the service in the timeframe they give me upfront and return my car washed and vacuumed. It is the best service I get from ANY retail establishment - including Nordstrom!! I highly recommend the service department at Darcars Rockville.

I recently treated my 2008 Volvo S60 to a Spa Day (that's what I call my maintenance visits) and again received exceptional service from both Tom Mangum and Mo (Mohammed). When I made the appointment, I was very courteously asked if there was a technician I would prefer to use and said right off Tom but added that either he or Mo would be fine. When I arrived at the dealership it turned out that Tom was indeed assigned to work with me but I went directly to Mo since he was the closest available service provider and he got me signed in, etc. and then told me Tom would be following up with me later in the day. I cannot tell you how much I appreciate Mo's thorough customer service! He could have directed me to Tom but instead provided me with quality customer service (reviewed my car, wrote out my concerns and printed my paperwork) and only then did he inform me that I would be working with Tom. Excellent customer service. Of course Tom called and completely explained what needed to be done, relaying the safetfy issues (ball bearing loose, etc.) that required my immediate attention. So, with his recommendations I got the services required and Sage (my car) is running like a top! I will add here that I live in Baltimore and there is a Volvo dealership less than 10 miles from my home. I visited once and have not returned -- not taking anything away from this dealership but I certainly do not get the quality care, time and attention that I consistently get from Darcars Volvo! Okay, seriously, LAST THING! I purchased my first car independently at Darcars Subaru (College Park) in 1991, a 1991 Subaru Legacy and only Darcars serviced that car. After the Legacy, I replaced it with a Jetta and a few years later replaced the Jetta with a New Beetle. Though I did not purchase these vehicles through Darcars I consistently went to get them serviced at Darcars Volkswagen (College Park). In 2007 I went to CarMax Rockville to replace my New Beetle for a 2006 Volvo S40. It turned out that a better model was in Richmond so the sales rep called Richmond to check the availability of the car but could not get a rep on the line to confirm the transaction. My sales rep told me he would call me within the hour with a confirmation of the transaction so I left the dealership. I drove down Frederick Road and as I got to the Lexus dealership I thought, "There's a Darcars Volvo dealership down here." I made a U-turn at Gude Road, went to the dealership and after a few hours drove off with my 2007 Berentz Blue S40! Alas, in 2010 that car was totalled... sigh... BUT, Praise the Lord, I walked away from that accidently mostly unharmed and went right back to Darcars Volvo to purchase a replacement vehicle, my 2008 S60! All that to say that I am a loyal (or at least semi-loyal... VW purchases haha!) Darcars customer and highly recommend your dealership to those whom I know are in the market to purchase cars! I usually dread the car buying process, but was pleasantly surprised with the experience at DarCars in Rockville. My salesman, Charles, couldn't have been more knowledgeable about his cars and the business, and was extremely personable. While I never thought I'd buy a Volvo (I was previously a satisfied BMW and Lexus owner) Charles convinced me otherwise. Arman, the sales manager, was not only perceptive and witty, but negotiated a better deal than the other 4 Volvo dealers we contacted with the same car specs. I had a great experience both purchasing a vehicle and getting my vehicle serviced. My salesman was Marshall Dean. Marshall was very patient even though I took several days to purchase a vehicle. His number one concern was my satisfaction. The new sales manager Ali was great as well. They were very honest and easy to work with. If do not like pushy dealership and want a pleasant experience this is definitely the place to go. I will say that I am not the easiest person to work with as I analyze everything. I had my first service today. The service staff was professional and friendly as well. They made sure that a good mid-sized loaner vehicle to use while my vehicle was being serviced. My husband and I have purchased two vehices at Darcars. The experiences were excellent. We worked with Charles on both transactions. He explained the features in great detail and worked with us to arrive at what we felt was a good and fair price. The added incentives from Volvo was a major factor in looking into the Volvo product. In addition, the negotiation over price was not high pressured at all. The business manager was efficient in getting the paper work together and finding a good financing rate. Both vehicles were delivered to us after completion of the paperwork so we did not need a second trip ro pick up the vehicles. If you are in the market for a Volvo vehicle you should definitely spend some time at Darcars during your search.

I have bought almost all of our Volvos (including my children's) at DarCars. Alexander Arman is the best GM and has always been responsive along with his staff to any issues. When Alexander left a few years past we were very disappointed in the dealership. However, he is now back and has put the dealership back on his "gold standard." He is always there to assist as is his staff. I have always had good service with Alexander on purchases and repairs and they have generally been very responsive. I guess each person will have their own experiences and expectations of car dealerships. Mr Ali was not only very friendly but he was delightful to work with. I was in the used cars department so it may be different in the new cars. Nice place and the coffee machine was wonderful. I would return if they had something worth getting. Got a used car so that I like so...so far no complaints but I think I will have my mechanic check it out.

I just bought my second car (and second trade-in) from DarCars Volvo of Rockville. In both instances I felt that the staff worked to find a deal that was good for both of us. They are a low-pressure operation, but they also move quickly when a deal has been made to help you get out of there. Very little of the talk-to-my-manager-ten-times negotiation style found in other places. The team knows the cars, and asks you what you need the car to do in order to help you find the right car for your needs and price range. I have bought lightly used Volvos both times from them, and in the first case when a few things went wrong on the first couple of weeks they were happy to have us come back and take care of it- no hassle. I will return to this dealership next time I am looking for a car.

We bought a car from them last year. I have no idea what has happened here? The people are not the same. The place looked half closed. I Tried to make a deal. They did not seem to want a deal and the manger kept looking at his watch. At the end we asked about old manager or our old salesman. They refused to tell us about them! This new manager did not feel right. We were leaving and went to tell our service advisor about our real bad experience. He told us were the old manager had moved to. We contacted him and bought a used Nissan from him.

Every time I have come in this store, there are always new faces in the showroom and the quality of staff has gotten progressively worse and worse. Although we are still in the "looking" stage we were extremely impressed with the pre-owned sales staff and managers. There was a good selection of high quality vehicles and their prices are virtually the lowest anywhere. Everyone was very knowlegeable and helpful in offering their suggestions. I know this is where we will be purchasing our car once we make our final decision. The only fault I found was when walking/driving through the lot in the back there were several large holes you need to watch out for. Other than that it was great.

We looked for a particular interior color with a 2012 T6 S60. The Internet indicated the dealer had one. Armon handled the call and negotiated the deal. He was very up front on the price + delivery + documentation fees. Since the MSRP of a Volvo includes a delivery fee, you need to realize the $895 delivery fee is simply a dealer profit item and accordingly negotiate the price. Darcars really completes all the documentation for the $200 fee, and it's worth it not dealing with DMV in our state. Overall, Darcars cost about $2500 less than a comparable car in our location (Ohio).Armon met me at the location but we didn't spend much time together as that had been accomplished prior to arrival. Armon introduced me to Danny who offered a brief introduction to how the S60 worked and provided the key for a test drive. After the test drive, Ben asked if I was still interested in the car and I indicate a desire to purchase the vehicle.Danny introduced me to Ben in finance and it took about two hours to complete all the paperwork. Ben outlined all the warranty information and explained how the dealership would title and garner tags and register the vehicle. When all the warranty and sales information was complete, Ben sent us back to Danny. Danny went over all the nuances of the S60 and programmed the telephone to use in the car. Overall, Danny provided the most service I appreciated that day. All acted polite; Danny was superb. Overall, it's quite a good interaction. Remember the added fees and know the MSRP and other dealer prices and you will do fine.

Purchased my vehicle September 29,2012 everything was great until I noticed mid October that my trade is was not paid off I kept calling and I was told the check would be going out anyday, November 3,2012 I started receiving calls from my loan company payment still had not been made as of today November 15,2012 my loan is now in collecions although I have not had it since September 29,2012 nor do I have my tags for my new vehicle they told me to make my first payment for my new car through them which I did and yet I am still riding around with temp tags although I have made my car note on my new vehicle. I have called and spoke with several people getting the run around Jeff the general manager said he would continue to follow up I have yet to hear of a status and will probably be forced to pay my car note on a car I no longer have, so that my credit is not effected although my pay off has now changed and will continue to go up due to intrest that the loan gains everyday!!!!! Beware stay away from this dealer I plan on filing a report with the better business bureau the end of the week if my issues are not resolved.

We were very happy about the sales and our car. We bought a used Volvo that was certified. Sales manger was very polite and not pushy. He just gave us the facts and figures and showed us the value. The second part that was paying for the car was a real bad experience. It took us over 2 hours to get through financing and the papers. The finance manger told us that the new car dept had a deal and he was told that he had to take care of the new car customer first!! Like we were second a class citizen. We did not mind to wait for our turn, but this was not nice.

We were customers for life until trying to trade our '03 S60 in for a '12 S60. We were offered less than half of what CarMax was offering, and given non-sense that the reason for the poor offer was due to inaccurate information contained in the CarFax report. Even after the CarFax report was corrected, the they told us the offer was still half was CarMax was offering. We corrected the CarFax report immediately, but were so disgusted with the so-called "wanting customers to love every aspect of their interaction" with DARCARS that we never went back, and bought a Mercedes instead from a dealer who matched the CarMax price.

Last Saturday evening, I could not start my car at a parking lot in Gaithersburg, MD. I tried countless times. It was dark and cold, my seventy-seven year old mother with high blood pressure was in the car and my cars menu was at home. I was helpless and very frustrated. I had no idea whom to call for help. I enjoyed the experience interacting with the sales department when I purchased the car two years ago, and the positive experience has continued each time I bring the car in for oil changes and other service. It is ALWAYS a positive experience. The service department staff are friendly and helpful on every occasion. On one instance, they applied a coupon to my bill that I had not seen on their website. How often does that happen? To top it off, my car is always washed and vacuumed when I pick it up. In contrast, I cannot think of a single positive experience I have had getting my BMW serviced. No idea how this dealership is getting high marks. For sales theyre okay, but for SERVICE take your money elsewhere. They are extremely shady. I was quoted on a trip computer by a technician for ~$200. Roughly 150 for the software and 50 for hardware since it is just "plug in to install." I waited a couple days and came back when my vehicle was due for COMPLIMENTARY SERVICE and asked for it to be installed and was charged nearly $400 by the service manager! He said the tech mustve gotten it wrong because it required a lot more work than what! BULL! I researched it and it was just a simple software install which literally is plugin the vehicle to a computer! Of course the guy also charges me TWO HOURS of labor when I was only sitting there for an hour and fifteen minutes which includes the service. So he basically charged me the for COMPLIMENTARY service I shouldve gotten when I buy the car!Another time was when my car was acting a bit weird at the brakes (noise and not as responsive). I took it in and the service guy said the brake discs needs replacement. Its still under warranty I said so I shouldnt have to pay for it. Nope, he said it doesnt cover wear and tear! I called him out spoke with the manager and he was giving me a hard time with it as well. Eventually they caved and they did it for free under warranty. I swore that was the last time I would ever go back! Nope. At 30k, my last complimentary service was done at DARCARS. Recently when i did my 37.5k oil change somewhere else I found out my skid plate is missing! They didnt put the plate back on! It was clear that they didnt put it back on because the screw holes werent torn and cant be seen as worn. ALL the screws were missing too! I went back to DARCARS demand them to fess up to it. Instead they said, "Oh i happen to have an extra one and ill give it to you, but it is clear the plate fell off or you ran over something." How is it that all the screws (FIVE IN TOTAL!) fell off at once that it gave way cleanly without damaging any screw holes? Of course he replied, "oh it happens all the time!" Ill drive to Silver Spring or VA from now on. Volvo DARCARS service department is HORRIBLE now. Before in the past, ~8 years ago, it was a pretty trustworthy service department but ever since they changed manager its been DOWN HILL!

We test drove an XC 70 the day before and Aldo was very informative and helpful. When we returned the next day to purchase the car, we preferred something less expensive. Aldo's manager suggested a barely used car with more options at a much better price. They were both very friendly and helpful, as was the gentleman who handled the financial paperwork. We are very pleased.

Excellent experience at DARCARS Volvo. I was dealt with honestly and politely, in a straight forward, no funny business matter. I was quoted an outstanding price on an XC60 over the phone, a price that was significantly lower than other area dealers, and was given that price when I came into the showroom as well as a fair trade-in value for my vehicle. There was no negotiating and everything was done in a very laid back, relaxed atmosphere. My sales person and the sales manager, both named Kamdiz, were very friendly. I highly recommend Darcars Volvo if you're in the market for a new car.

I spent several weeks searching the internet for a new car. In doing this, I contacted Darcars Volvo inquiring about the Volvo C 70. Regina and emailed backed and forth several times discussing the car that I had an interest in. The visit strated out well. I was shopping around and I asked for an estimate which Kambiz prepared. I liked the price so I gave him $500 to bring the car I wanted to Rockville. Kambiz could not get the car. I ultimately bought from another dealer who was able to match the Darcars price and who had the car I wanted in stock. Kambiz said my refund had to be processed through the business office and I should receive it within a week. One week turned to two then three. The last time I called he said the business office was closed and he would call me back the next day. He never called. My boyfriend went to Darcars and Kambiz said "You didn't buy the car from me! I don't have to process your refund!" My boyfriend threated to report him to Volvo headquarters and the Better Business Bureau. I picked up my check that day. Very shady business. Be careful with these people.

Just bought a new 2011 S60 (love that car!). Bought my last car -- Volvo S60 -- and the car before that through my credit union because I refused to suffer the "abuse" of another car purchase at a dealership. I must say I was pleasantly surprised at the ease of this new purchase. I was ready to buy before making a trip. They didn't have the car I wanted on their lot, so they got it from another dealership the very next day. Aldo and Adolfo gave me what I consider a good deal and Mark took care of the financing very expeditiously. All three were courteous and there was no pressure, only effective action that left me pleased with the buying experience. And I do love that car!! (I think I said that already.)

On a whim I decided to stop by DARCARS Volvo. I had previously driven the new S60 and knew it was my next car. I was immediately met by Aldo and Adolfo who worked with me through the entire process. I custom ordered my vehicle, and therefore had to wait a bit, but even during the down time they still kept in constant communication. They were patient and understanding, and never once made me feel though I was being rushed. They also took the time to explain little details to make sure I was fully aware of everything happening. When it came time to take delivery they made every effort to ensure I was comfortable, from providing a loaner car to ensuring my new vehicle was prepped properly.As a previous DARCARS customer the deal I received was fantastic - better than any other dealer in the area. Financing was also simple and quick. Mark actually made the process enjoyable, something that should happen more often! Post-sales support has been just as good. The GM, Mina, has gone above and beyond to answer my questions.It's true to me that this dealer group wants you to love the car buying experience. I know I did, and I highly recommend them.

We recently purchased a new XC60 from Adolfo. He was very professional and easy to work with during the sale until we asked about a trip to Sweden. At that point all the sales associates seemed to what to have nothing to do with us and were not very helpful answering our questions. We gave up on the Sweden idea because of lack of support and just bought the car locally for the ease of purchase. The sales office (financing) was ridiculously slow and tried to push all these extrra warranties we did not want. As part of sale, the service department was supposed to add scuff plates and a hitch. We have been back and forth with thre different people trying to schedule this work...first all the parts are here and ready and then no they aren't! Finally after two calls to our saleman we were told everything had been in stock all along. We brought the car in for service only to pick it up later that night to find out the hitch is backordered from Sweden. Then when we complained about the complete lack of professionalism and communication, we were told the hitch was not included in our sale! We looked up the record to provide it was! Still awaiting an answer as to when the hitch will be here! The whole reason we bought from this dealership was the service department (my husband has a volvo that is serviced here).Sale was fine, but the lack of follow thru really ticks me off!Wish we could have had the opportunity to discuss the Sweden trip, but again they were not helpful and willing to help with this.

I love my new C30! My salesman, Aldo Berrellez, was very helpful in making the purcase a pleasant experience. His friendly positive nature and his willingness to deal with all my concerns played a major role in helping me to make the final decision. He thoroughly explained all the details of the various operating functions and instructed me about which "buttons to push". The purchase was made about a month ago and I have since returned several times to the dealership with my additional questions and needs. Each time, Aldo has graciously assisted me to resolve all of my concerns. Between the two, we got a great car at a good price, a wonderful trip to Sweden (free roundtrip airfare for two and 3 free nights in Gothenburg (1 more than usual as a Volvo loyalty award)) and took delivery there and again here. Feels as if every time you come in for service they try to sell you more than you need. They once charged me for a "new" air filter, which I had just replaced myself a couple of weeks before. I asked to see the old filter which they could not come up with. The mechanic walked out to talk to me and he acknowledge the "mistake".They also said I had not performed a couple of scheduled services with them, so they were charging me for three services, which were all about the same check list. (I did check the car with them with the free check up they offer and also had the list checked at another shop as per the maintenance booklet when the service was due).Service staff is not very friendly and they make you feel as if your warranty would void if you do not perform with them the suggested work... which you can do at half the price elsewhere!

Always trying to sell you service that you don't need and get very snooty if you tell them "no". When I came in for an oil change, I told one service manager that they are always nailing me for something after he suggested I have not had service in 17K miles (when I had) on top of giving them $2,000 in the past 5 months. Service manager replied that "he is offended by that remark". Excuse me, but did you not take Customer Service 101 and learn how to respond to the customer who is not satified?Will not be going back here unless I am stranded.

My wife, daughter and I stopped in to look at a XC 70. We took it for a test drive and liked what we saw. Kambiz assisted us throughout the process and was very friendly and no pressure. However he quoted us a price that he pulled off the internet pricing. we countered with a reasonable offer, but he wasn't able to go to the manager to approve the deal as it was a Sunday. However, the next day I called Kambiz and he informed me that not only was our offer not accepted, but their initial price was off the table! He said the manager would only approve a deal for almost $1000.00 more than initially quoted!!!We're done with Darcars.

Mina the GM was testy, arrogant, snotty, and unprofessional. Kambiz, and Massy Hameda were not. After being picked up by Massy at the Metro to purchase what I thought would be a new C70, once I got to the dealer I discovered that my prospective C70 was a "demo" and had 7300 or so miles on it. Fine. Then I checked the vehicle out. The wheels were all damaged. They said they'd fix them. I said they needed to be replaced. They didn't agree.I chose another vehicle. They gave me a very good price, so I bought it and drove it home happy. Next morning they called and said they forgot to charge me $825 in delivery/shipping/destination charges. Was asked to bring the car back. Ruined the whole gorgeous sunny day. Bill of Sale said I was charged everything on the sticker (including the delivery/shipping/destination charge) already). I relented, then refused, Deal was done. High Drama with dealer staff and Ms. Tammy Darvish (although she was by far the most professional). What started out as a fine transaction became a nightmare. Will never go back now, not even for service.

I purchased a used XC90 from Darcars in early March and I am from out of town, so part of the agreement was that they would ship the car to me within two days (scheduled to arrive on Tuesday 3/24). I took off work that afternoon to be home and sign for the car, and no one showed up. Not only that, I didn't receive any kind of phone call that the transport company was going to be late or anything. I attempted to call the transport company, but there was no answer and no answering machine. Wednesday morning I called them again and one of the owners told me that they had truck trouble and would be in town late Wednesday and could get the car to me on Friday. So, I waited at home on Friday AGAIN for my car...and nothing.Saturday, I called Darcars to see if my vehicle had even been picked up yet and they said that the transport company had picked it up on Friday (4 days late!). Considering that they told me it would be picked up on Monday and it wasn't until Friday; I felt this was VERY inconsiderate on their part and disrespectful of my time that they couldn't even give me a call and let me know it was going to be late (since I had taken off two afternoons from work to be at my house to sign for my car)!Needless to say, it's Saturday and I still don't have my car and have not heard from the transport company, Lanet Enterprises, on an ETA.I definitely would not recommend this dealership to anyone out of town or in town for that matter, their lack of consideration for their customers time if unacceptable to me.

I have leased four Volvos since January of 2007. The first was a 2007 XC70 from Herb Gordon Volvo. I had initially ordered a 2007 S80 3.2 through them. My circumstances had changed so I needed to get a XC70 instead. The people that I worked with over there were pushy, argumentative, and went back on their word on delivering accessories that were supposed to come on my XC70. After having a brake module problem; I went to Herb Gordon to get it fixed and they said THREE weeks before I could get a loaner. I said forget it and got it fixed at Don Beyer Falls Church. Fast forward a few months later; I am in the market for a XC90 and DARCARS has the one that I want. I walk in, tell them what I want, the salesman, Jason Long, and sales manager, Joey Brashears were superb. I got a $49k SUV for a $400/month lease with very little money down. I was very happy with the purchasing experience and the deal that I got.After I got bored with the XC70; I stopped by DARCARS and asked about S80's. They had a fully loaded new 2007 S80 V8 that I fell in love with. My purchasing experience was just like it was with my XC90 3.2. Fast, easy, and hassle free. They also threw in a few free accessories.I purchased a 2008 XC90 V8 at a Philadelphia area dealer in February of 2008 while Alexander Arman and Joey Brashears had departed for a brief leave of absence.Now that Joey Brashears is back; I am looking forward to leasing my next Volvo from him.The people there, from the receptionist to the currrent General Manager are friendly and I make the effort to stop by and say "hi" every now and then.

Stay away from DARCARS and Joey Brashears. We left a deposit on a vehicle that was at the Baltimore port. Told it would be in in 4-5 days. After five days we are told it will be another 2-3 days. After 3 days we are told it will be another 3-4 days. We are offered to be refunded our deposit which we accept. After 6 days and providing all requested documantation to quickly return the funds, Joey Brashears says he will not return the deposit. Here it is 16 days later and the car is still at the port, and Joey does not want to release the funds on a car he promised but cannot deliver. Stay away from DARCARS and Joey Brashears.

Looking for a second car, one better on gas mileage than our Hummer, we decided to look at Audis, Volvo's, BMW's and Mercedes. We finally found a nice used BMW 5 series with low mileage and a good price at Darcars Volvo. Initially, the sales staff was extremely friendly as you would expect when trying to get someone to spend their money with you. The sales associate even gave us his cell phone number to call since he was going to be off the following day, and if we decided to buy this particular car he would come in on his day off. Later that night I called him and asked him if the car could be detailed and ready the next day and he assured me it would. I also noticed there was no owners manual while we were on our test drive, and he assured me that he would get it. Signing the paperwork the next day for it, we are told there is only one key and no owners manual, which they would order for us. Getting in the car to inspect it, none of the marks I had told him about were taken care of (it was washed, not cleaned) so his response was to bring it back at a later date. 3 weeks later, no owners manual. I called the sales associate (Sam Amin), he acts like he has no idea who we are or that they even had a used BMW, but says he will talk to the parts department about the manual and call me right back. 3 days later and still no call. I called the Manager, and he tells me "when you buy a used car, you get it as is, that's it", even tho before signing I was told they would get us one. DO NOT GO HERE!!! They give empty promises and don't care about you, only your money.

I walked into Darcars volvo intending to test drive an s40 I was planning on buying from a family friend. I was greeted with warm smiles and an atypical sales staff. No one was pressuring me nor was I being asked a thousand questions. By the end of my first experience, I was an ecstatic new car owner with a deal my family friend was unable to match. A year later, I have visited Darcars Volvo over a dozen times; mostly to say, "Hello" to everyone I have met. In the last 14 months my family has bought 4 cars from Darcars. The staff at Darcars care about their clientele as if they are old friends. I have never known a car dealership to feel like a family, but Darcars is exceptional. The service standard is so high, I cannot think of a single complaint (unimaginable for most dealerships). My entire family has since worked with Alexander Arman to help with their car purchases. Every person I have referred to Mr. Arman has called with glowing reviews and to thank me for the introduction. If you are in the market for a Volvo, it would seem foolish to me to look anyplace other than Darcars.
