My husband wanted a new Jeep so we tried TrueCar and picked three dealers within our area. Although we were contacted by all three dealerships - Tom Dundas impressed us the most. He kept in touch and called periodically to touch base. Tom never gave up - even though we weren't able to come and check out two vehicles on the lot that met our specifications. Tom patiently kept sending us information and checking in. We ended up ordering one with Tom's apt assistance. We've had our new Jeep for a few weeks now and my husband is in heaven. Thank you for not giving up on us, Tom!

Bought a new Dodge Journey that has had issues since the day we bought it. Service center you can never get in contact with. Went to buy a Jeep Wrangler and was disrespected and ultimately turned away. My suggestion is go to Suncoast, best experience I have had at a dealership.

After a HORRIBLE experience at an Arrigo Dealership in South Florida where they Sold to another customer my custom ordered Jeep... I found online that Dayton Andrews a Car that matched what I wanted...So I called the dealership in St. Petersburg Florida. When I called Mike T-Man answered the phone I explained the situation. Mike went above and beyond and offered me more for may trade and matched everything ARRIGO was offering me at the end of the day he came back at a total of $1,500 less than Arrigo in the entire Deal This is someone who did not need to compensate me for someone else mistake.I decided to immediately get on my car and do the 4 hour drive I got to Dayton Andrews Dodge Chrysler Jeep in St. Petersburg, Florida. when I got there about 4:15pm My car was parked up front. I met with Mike who was extremely friendly and professional after processing everything then to financing with Donna who was also friendly and professional. The entire process was fast and painless, they gave me a better deal than Arrigo. While I was there the General Manager Keith Donahue and Inventory Manager Melanie Sizemore both welcomed me and apologized for having to go through my situation and having to drive 4 hours to what I replied that it was worth the drive and thank them for having the car I wanted available and giving me a great deal on it. The staff at Dayton Andrews Dodge Chrysler Jeep in St. Petersburg, Florida changed to what was a HORRIBLE DAY into a GREAT DAY.My Suggestion to anyone in South Florida wanting to buy a car STAY AWAY FROM ANY ARRIGO DEALERSHIP!!! Save yourself the headache! and to me a 4 Hour Drive to Dayton Andrews Dodge Chrysler Jeep in St. Petersburg, Florida is worth the drive!

Took my car for an oil change. Also needed the windshield wiper squirter fixed. My car is 8 years old and they said I needed power steering flush and fill which I can see with a car that old. They said the wiper part wasn't available but could be fixed. They charged me $118 to "fix" it and it still doesn't work right. It still doesn't work right. Also the next day realized they never reset the oil change notice light. All this cost me $313. Not very happy with their "service."

On 4-29-16 my 2015 Dodge Ram 4500 was taken to Dayton Andrews Dodge in Clearwater Fl due to leaking antifreeze. A pressure test was performed by their service dept. for a charge of $ 136.87 (a 8.92 misc. charge was for rags, per service mgr. Michael Bloomfield). The invoice provided states -- Pressure tested and found coolant leaking from hose. Recommended: Replacement of coolant hose. Based upon this written diagnosis and outrageous proposed price to fix I ordered the radiator hose and went to a private mechanic. Upon doing so I was advised that there was NO leak in my radiator hose, the problem was a result of a crack in the seal of the reservoir.I contacted Dayton Anddrews Dodge service manager M. Bloomfield and advised him of their WRONG diagnosis. His response to me was to say O.K.I also advised Mr. Bloomfield that their estimate of $ 698.81 to flush the coolant system, replace the hose and replace coolant was preposterous ....which is why I will never take my autos there or buy one there !!!!!!!! We visited several dealerships prior to Dayton Andrews Dodge. We met Tomas Dundas and told him what we were looking for. He took us to the lot and showed us a Jeep Grand Cherokee which we drove around the area. We did not plan on making a decision on purchasing a vehicle on the visit, however, we liked the vehicle and the offer that was made we decided to purchase the Jeep. We think Thomas has mental telepathy. he showed us one vehicle and we drove it off the next day. We give the dealership and Thomas a five star rating.

I have a cod start issue where the vehicle lunges forward. The Service employees are incompetent and lazy. Especially the Serivce Mgr Gary and the Service Dir Ron. How they have service related jobs is amazing. I called Chrysler and opened a case. It's been open awhile now. Chrysler said I had to call the dealer and get the name or contact the District Mgr. Gary, said he could not give me that info but he could take my info and give it the District Mgr.A week passes and still no contact so I leave Gary, Ron and Keith, the GM messages. I also called Chrysler again. I was told that Ron would call me back. Ron calls and says I would not get a call from the District Mgr, they could not duplicate the problem and that without any check engine lights on, they cannot help.Its a 2015 Grand Cherokee Laredo. The issue started after my first oil change at the dealership with 5,550 mile on the vehicle.It is amazing that the dealer and the manufacturer simply will not take ownership or responsibility and will continue to give you the run around.I am not going to waste my time about their service employees. What a joke Do not buy or service here - unless you have unlimited time on your hands and like interacting with the incompetent!!

Took my car in for an oil change before a lengthy road trip to a family reunionout of state. They informed me that there was a fluid oozing and dripping from the underside of the car. (Funny. It is garage kept and there in not a drop ofany fluid on the garage floor). They wanted to run a test ($118) to find out whatkind of fluid it is. and two other things that they wanted to do to a total bill of between $400 and $500. I raced and did a lot of auto repairs in the 60's so who are they kidding. These are people who would scam their own mothers.BEWARE of this dealership or at least the service department. I would not recommend them to anyone.

Dropped off my 1 year old Jeep Wrangler for a new battery as mine tested at 10.6 Volts. They refused to replace the battery knowing a charge was only a temporary fix. The service manager, Mike, told me that's what roadside assistance is for. As expected, I was stranded with my kids and pregnant wife this weekend. I had to spend $190 on a new battery to get us all home and some peace of mind. $40,000 on a new Jeep less than 14 months ago and we were told use roadside assistance when we breakdown next. I drive by Ferman Jeep every time I go to Dayton Andrews. By default, Ferman Jeep has now won my $$$$, wether it be for service or my next Jeep.

No experience or smarts about computers, plc's, or electronics. Don't waste your time. I called about activating a back up camera and was quoted they could do it for $59. In 1/2 an hour. When I got there no one knew what I was talking about. The service person said because I had an aftermarket camera they didn't know if they could activate it. I then showed him step by step instructions on how to do it. I was embarrassed for him. They refused to touch it for less than $118 weather they connected it or not!crappy experience for me, and I think for them also. Dimwitts...

Mechanic replaced the timing belt upon his recommendation and placed it around the wrong pulley causing bent valves in the engine. Claimed they would cover repairs on the car but when it came time to pony up the money they have now said they won't. Pure dishonest stealerships here.

Gave me a trade-in offer $1000 less than competitors. Ran my credit without my consent. But worst of all: salesman was knowingly selling the same car to two people in their office at the same exact time. As I walked out money in hand and disappointed, there he was taking other customers to test drive the car I had paperwork for 5 minutes prior.Shameful service, won't go back.

I was in the market fora pre-owned mid sized SUV with 40K or less mileage and found ads on the dealer website in my price range fro Dodge Journeys. 3 were of interest and 1 was ruled out as a "smoker" the stunk severely when i got in. The one I zeroed in on was clean and in good condition and when i tried to make a deal the manager would not quote me a price on a deal that would include my trade in. he gave me a price range of 2 to 3 K for it. He took my keys and examined the vehicle but would not give a specific trade in value unless I committed to buy on the spot. I declined but was assured a deal could be made with in that price range for the trade in. When I returned after examining other deals at other dealers suddenly my trade in was only worth $1000. The asking price for the suv was severely inflated and "the internet special price" was not special at all but in the mid range of the Kelly Blue Book value. NO deal for me.

I was a little leary of bringing my BMW to this dealer but the Progressive office was right there and i got to see the kind of work they did. And since the work was guaranteed, "what could i lose?", i thought. So i did and boy am i glad. You'd never know the front bumper was completely replaced with the grill and the hood straightened. Wow! Thank you SO much!

Worst. Service. Department. Ever.Short Version: I brought my Dodge Nitro in for A/C repairs 3 months ago... I just had to go back for the 3rd compressor in 3 months!Long Version: Customer "service" here is the worst. I brought my car in for some A/C work, they replaced the compressor and days later had to replace it again because it was faulty. Days after that it stopped working AGAIN. Now they had to replace my evaporator. While they had my car for a week they felt it was ok to toss my brand new in dash DVD player around the shop floor and scratched it all up. Since it was literally a week old, I still had the receipt, did they cut me a check to fix their mistake? No. They had me buy myself a replacement out of pocket, give them the receipt for that one and wait 2 weeks for a check.While they had my car for a week I had to get a rental, which my warranty covers so that should be simple and painless... was it? No. They sent the PO to the wrong branch so I was charged for the rental even though my warranty had already paid Dayton Andrews. I then had to wait 2 weeks for a refund from the car renter. Because of mistakes made by the "service" department I was out hundreds of dollars for weeks on top of the cost of the repairs.Now, that should have been enough to keep me away but unfortunately, the A/C went out AGAIN less than 2 months later. I had to bring it back to them because it should still be under warranty. It was the compressor again. 3rd one in 3 months. So, they had to order one, said it would be 3 days. A week later I got a return phone call (from the MANY voice mails I left) and they still didn't have the compressor! In fact, the voicemail said the tech working on my car wouldn't be available Saturday so I should wait till next saturday... that would be close to 3 weeks with no AC in FL in August. I'm out! Done. Cancel that order! Do not call me! I'd rather go somewhere else and pay for a new compressor than deal with these people. They are the worst. THE WORST!!!!!!!!!! Stay away!!!

I had a bad time from the beginning and don't ask me why I went through with the purchase of my new Truck. First thing was sales: I asked for all stickers and wording to be removed from the truck before I picked the truck up.This was not done and the reason was the salesman didn't think I really wanted it removed and then put Dayton's name and address with phone number in white letters on the tail gate of my new Black truck. Next was the paper work that kept getting messed up. ie. he added in a Van that I drove in as a trade in even though I told him repeatedly that it was not a trade in. Then tried to raise the price of the truck up $2,000 for something that was not agreed to in the first place. Next was financing: All I can say here is that I had a check for the truck in hand the next day when I went to pick up the truck and was told that the Financing person wanted to talk with me. He told me that he had a hard time finding someone to finance me and that he worked very hard to get me financed. My credit score at that time was 782 and I do not to this day miss any payments for anything I buy. I showed him my check and told him I never asked for a loan. and I was promptly called a SOB But it only took about 10 seconds to very nicely explain with the purchasing manager by my side that I never asked for a loan.and that being called a SOB was not the right thing for someone to do. I did get an apology but I at this time was not a happy camper. Back to sales: They did take the truck to the body shop to have the stickers and writing removed. but when the truck was brought back out to me it was scratched all up one side and down the other. razor blades are not what we should use to remove Vinyl graphics from a New Truck. Someone should tell them. I dealt with the Service department and the body shop and the story is all the same.

These people are stupid. No, really folks, stooopid. We walked out and drove 20 minutes over the bridge to Jerry Ulm. Happy people, great deal, was in and out in an hour. Oh, and get this, they listened to what we wanted. They weren't so busy trying to figure out our next move that they really listened. Which is why they sold a vehicle and Dayton Andrews has a lot full of vehicles they won't be able to give away. We will never go to Dayton Andrews again.

VERY RUDE! Absolutely NO CUSTOMER SERVICE skills what so ever! I wouldn't recommend them to my worst enemy! I will be reporting the situation to the BBB as well! It has always been said in my 20 years of customer service experience you LISTEN to the customer FIRST then you work with the problem. This is not that case at this dealership nor with the TWO folks I dealt with. I was told their side of the story and I was told I could say yes or no and that was it!
