I purchased a 2010 Chevrolet Equinox in June. Mark Cohen did a great job of helping me find the SUV I was looking for. He made a sincere effort to listen to my needs and explained the features and benefits of the vehicles I looked at. He was very knowledgeable and made the buying process easy. I am very happy with my Equinox, and the DeFelice dealership. I have already visited the service department and was extremely happy with the way they treated me and my vehicle. I would highly recommend this dealership to my friends and family.

Why would you buy anywhere else. This is the second vehicle I have purchased from them. Salesman Mark Cohen listened to what I wanted and help me navigate through their inventory. He found a great match for me and the negotiating process could not have been smoother. The whole family is involved here and they really appreciate your business. I will never buy another vehicle anywhere else and wish i had found these guys sooner.

I had a great experience at this dealership and I would recommend it to anyone looking to buy a car. Mark was very helpful and straight forward and he has such a great energy about him you just cant wait to make the deal happen. I had been to multiple other dealerships that were either unwilling to help me or wanted to sell me something I didn't want and as soon as I went to DeFelice I knew I had found my dealership. I bought a Ford Escape and I absolutely love it!

Great experience with friendly and knowledgeable staff. Tom Brennan was my salesman and he did everything possible to make sure my vehicle purchase went smoothly as possible. Louie Penaherra was easy to work with and got me everything I was looking for and then some while financing.

I had been searching for a Trailblazer SS for quite some time. After coming across one at DeFelice, I was a little worried about traveling over an hour and a half to make a purchase. After looking over several of the reviews about the dealership, I decided to give it a shot and I couldn't be happier that I did. From the minute I contacted DeFelice and spoke to Mark Cohen about the vehicle, I could tell this would be a smooth transaction. Mark was great to work with. He kept me in the loop on what was going on with the car, when it would be at the dealership, and was great at setting up a time that worked for me to come see the vehicle. After meeting Mark at the dealership, the buying process couldn't have been smoother. Everything went well from working out the details of my trade (a lease buy-out), purchasing the vehicle, and having my questions answered about registering the car in PA. Jeff and Louie were also great to work with as we finalized all the details of the transaction. As some of the other reviews have stated, this really is a no-pressure, family atmosphere. I couldn't be happier with the new truck or with the buying experience. Thanks again Mark, Jeff, Louie, and the rest of the DeFelice team.

Mark Cohen, Jeff, Mike, Louie and the rest of the team at DeFelice were an absolute pleasure to deal with in the recent purchase of my 2012 Dodge Ram. Mark greeted me upon entry, was attentive to my questions, and went out of his way to make me comfortable and confident about the purchase. The team spend as much time as necessary with me addressing my concerns and getting me as close to "my number" as possible. After visiting several larger dealerships in the immediate area it was refreshing to deal with a no nonsense approach and salespeople who were not pushy. There is a family atmosphere in the building which makes you feel welcome and at ease; for this reason I would recommend DeFelice without reservation to anyone in the market for a new vehicle.

Mark Cohen was an excellent person to deal with during the process of buying my 535xi BMW. The entire team over at the dealership know what they are doing and have amazing customer service. They want you to leave there feeling happy and in a car of your dreams. Knowing that the owners are five brothers makes it even more of a reason to buy a car there. I purchased a preowned truck from DeFelice in May 2014. My salesman, Mark Cohen was great to deal with. He was quite helpful, very accomodating and most of all made the otherwise always stressful task of shoping for a new vehicle much less stressful. Kudos to Mr. Cohen and DeFelice for thier freindly and professional service. I will not hesitate to recommend them to friends/relatives looking for a used vehicle.

I have purchased from Defelice several times. The most recently was a jeep that my son in law wanted. The salesman Mark Cohen is a superlative gentleman. He was very helpful, with a great inventory. The whole staff at DeFelice is wonderfull. Folks, I cant imagine NOT buying from this great company. They do a service for the public. Matching people up to cars, with any budgets, and innovative financing. We have been back there several times. Even to just say hello. Their service department in top notch. I purchased a 2007 suzuki forenza with 34,000 miles in January, 2014. As of today, 6 times to mechanics for repair problems and spent more than $1000 (beside buying a bumper to bumper warranty package). I believe the dealer should not send cars like this or declare all problems at the time of sale.

Buying a vehicle at De Felice was a much better experience than I can recall having at other dealerships in the past . Our Sales rep, Marc Cohen made the process streamlined and , actually, quite enjoyable . Oh, and did I mention.....we got a great deal, as well !

I have bought several autos at DeFelice. Wouldn't buy a pre-owned auto anywhere else despite lots of choices. At least three reasons...First, they offer a free 30 day warranty (very few others do). Second, their prices are right on the money. Third, before their autos go on the lot they are inspected by pro mechanics and any issues are corrected. My last purchase was a 2007 near-perfect Crossfire convertible for my wife. The car is essentially a Mercedes. I have bought more than my share of cars and I have become a excellent negotiator...I was ready, and had done all my research. The very first offer of sale I received I had to accept...it was THAT GOOD! I was shocked, but very pleased. I was in and out in less than an hour. My wife drives the Crossfire every day and LOVES the car! DeFelice has a full service auto shop with great mechanics, but I have never had to use the shop except for oil changes. Great car, great price and great service! I read that another person wrote about the "shabby" decor...the business is clean and neat, and I don't want to pay for "ambiance"...I was there for less than an hour! This is not your usual "used car lot"!

4/8/2014: I was interested in a 2004 Caddy DeVille I saw on the internet, but am disabled and was unable to drive to their location to see the car. When I explained this to the salesman, Mark Cohen, after he answered all my questions about the car, they offered to drive it down to me (about 35 miles!) for me to inspect it and test drive it! Believe it or not, the Owner, Jeff DeFelice, actually drove the car down to me HIMSELF, to make sure all my questions were answered and to test drive it!! He spent over and hour with me! Very nice, kind, and compassionate people. Unbelievable service! The car was beautiful-even better than their website pictures, and drove well. Everything worked! They bent over backwards to help me, and I greatly appreciate what they did. They are above and beyond ANY Dealer I have ever worked with.

I was in the market for a used vehicle, and DeFelice had just what I wanted. When I went there, I was immediately met with the most wonderfull, upbeat friendly salesman I ever met, Mark Cohen. Mark helped me find a car, and made the whole process very smooth. I met the entire staff, and must say, they are here to serve the public. They take their business very serious. I have been back there several times, for further business. I can tell you, they have a great inventory, and very good service department, and back up everything they say. If your looking for a car or truck, I would go to DeFelice Auto. Its painless, honest, friendly, and they get the job done. I think Mark Cohen is the greatest salesman DeFelice could ask for. I like talking to him for his car expertise, and all the laughs we share. If I ever need another car, it will be from DeFelice auto. Why buy anywhere else?? Go where the results are proven. I've been to many auto dealerships over the years and this was by far the best dealership I've ever been to. Eddie, my salesperson Tom, and Luis were professional and went out of their way to help me find the best car for me in my situation. Tom was knowledgeable about the cars on the lot and patiently showed me all the cars that my son and I were interested in. Even though it was almost closing time, I never felt rushed or pressured to make a decision. Luis handled the paperwork expeditiously and Eddie made sure everything ran smoothly. I was treated with the greatest respect, which is important to me. All in all, a great experience. I highly recommend them if you are in the market for a previously owned car.

At first glance building was run down, After asking what we wanted to see, the salesman insulted my mother's car. The car and price seemed good but while talking numbers salesman was rude, condescending and not pleasant at all. If he put his ego in check he may sell more cars. I went to 3 other area dealers in the same day, all were positive and pleasant but salesman here was not professional at all despite having 20 plus years selling cars as he stated. I have 14 plus years as a police officer but i'm pleasant to people despite seeing most likely much worse things than then this unprofessional salesman has.

I contacted this dealership about a truck and requested some additional pictures. I live in NC. They just kept sending me to their website where they had a whopping 6 pictures! I spoke to Joe and he wouldn't give me the time of day. I had a colleague call and he was welcomed and treated the same way. I eventually got through to a manager and he followed through with more pictures. I then spoke to Tom, he was helpful, but when it came time to negotiate he really didn't want to sell me a truck. I am a cash buyer and ready to deal, but these clowns are hands down some of the worst I have ever dealt with. I am surprised they have been in business for more than a week! I seriously wonder what treatment and service I would have gotten had I purchased a truck from them. If they can't take a few extra pictures for someone who lives 700 miles away and is trying to purchase sight unseen, then what circus act could I expect in real life. I am greatly disappointed, but relieved at the same time that I didn't purchase a vehicle from them. It sounds like they are good with the locals, but don't really understand there is a whole world put there beyond Jersey borders!! Good luck boys!

I recently bought a van from Defelice. I've been in the car business for 15 years and I knew every single Dealership manager in Ocean County. Of all those dealers that I know, I chose to purchase from the Defelice Brothers. It's not just the price of the car that sold me. I know if I ever have a problem in the future it will be taken care of and handled with urgency. Defelice is not the typical WhamBam dealership most people have run into in New Jersey. I would honestly recommend them to any friend or family member.

I recently purchased a pre owned truck from defelice auto in point pleasent nj. What a pleasure it was, no pushy salesmen no pressure very, very professional. My salesman James Schultz was the best. After two weeks of back and forth negotiations, I thought I had a fair deal and headed up the turnpike to get the Audi A6. When I arrived at the dealership I was convinced I was at the wrong location because the facilities were shabby to say the least. The only thing missing was a trailer to do the paperwork in. Looking past this, I received the keys, opened the car, and was shocked at how filthy the exterior and interior were. Why wasnt the car detailed in anticipation of my arrival?? It was an IMMEDIATE turnoff for my fiancee and I. To add insult to injury I didnt receive the fair trade value on my 2007 Mustang with low miles, as we had discussed. Needess to say we walked. Very unimpressed with Defelice!!

My daughter & I were shopping for a quality, dependable used car. We stopped at DeFelice Auto on Rt. 88 at the end of our long and frustrating day. By this time of the day I had had it with salesmen, I was tired and my daughter was overwhelmed. "Clayton" approached us and was very friendly and told me to relax! These guys at DeFelice are men of their words. They gave us the best price for our trade and were very fair in pricing their vehicle. They made the entire process quick & painless. No haggling or fighting over $$. In fact, the owner actually told Service to put 2 new tires on the car my daughter chose because he didn't "like the way they looked", plus we got a year of free oil changes and a 3yr warranty! This is sooo important to a parent when your precious kid is driving it. I would highly recommend DeFelice. They all have kids & they understand. They are fair & honest people and that certainly is a rarity these days. Thanks to Clayton, Ed & Luis I feel my daughter is driving a safe and reliable vehicle!
