Daughters car broke down they took it their. After paying $600 to have it fixed it was worse than before. Don't go there!! The car broke down 1.5 miles from dealer leaving a family stranded in Walmart parking lot. When they picked up the car my son in law made the tech get in to see how bad it was, his answer "bring it back Tuesday we'll take the engine apart" Right after the first time I don't think so. And his company's mission statement is "superior consumer experience. We will express our love for every customer daily." Sure by leaving a family stranded miles from home. Ford needs to speak with this dealer.

My wifes horse trailer broke down in Annapolis. We got a quick diagnostic from a local shop and I had to get the trailer back home to Centreville because of he animals inside. I called Denton Ford Service nd they were able to take me in right away and even provided a loaner car as it was going to take a little time. They provided me with an estimate by phone and gave me an accurate time to complete. Great small town shop with some highly qualified folks there. Mike Burton, the general manager, went out of his way to make this a positive experience. I also highly recommend Jason Burton as a professional in every way.

We bought a 46000 dollar truck from here and cannot get any return calls and nothing but lies on when we can get our truck. Have been told several times this and then I have to keep calling and then it's another day and same thing.i would never go back to this place again. When I first went for pricing out our new truck they called me all the time and then text all the time.

My experience with Denton Ford (a Preston Ford dealership) About 2 months ago on a Friday I traded in my truck to Denton Ford on a used Subaru Impreza WRX. There was snow on the weekend that I bought it so I didn't really drive it until Sunday. While sitting at a red light on Sunday I noticed the smell of burning oil coming from the car, I dismissed it thinking it was just some spilled oil from a recent oil change. The following day at work when I was starting the car to leave I noticed blue smoke coming from the exhaust so I decided I better let the dealership know. It was over a week before we could get our schedules lined up to where I could get the car over there and be able to use the loaner car while it was being checked out. At this time I still had only one key to the car and no FOB so I could not lock the doors without setting the alarm off when I unlocked them. The keys we supposed to be mailed to me the very next day after I bought the car and by the time I took the car in to have it checked out over a week later they still had not even been mailed out . At this point I was a little annoyed by the after sale customer service, but you almost expect that from a car dealership anymore. Then things went downhill quickly.The same Friday that I took the car in to have it checked out they called me back around 5:30 and told me they could find nothing wrong with the car. I then asked what the results of the compression test was that I specifically requested due to the blue smoke and smoke in the crankcase. They proceeded to tell me that their dealership was UNABLE TO PERFORM A COMPRESSION TEST at their dealership. I could perform a compression test on a vehicle with a broken sparkplug and a piece of hose when I was 12. That did not sit well with me. I strongly felt that they just did not want to deal with the problem, and frankly at that point all trust in the dealership was lost.I then spoke with the dealership's general manager. He agreed to have the car sent to Gateway Subaru to have it checked out. Upon their inspection of the car it was found that the car had bad exhaust valves on cylinders 2 and 4. (but according to Preston there was nothing wrong with it). I was told the car would be ready by Tuesday, which having no trust in Denton I proceeded to call Gateway Subaru and was told the parts wouldn't even be in by Tuesday. At this point I knew what direction this mess was going in and I asked the GM to purchase the car back to which he told me they would not do. I thought that with 2 weeks in and 2 flat out lies by his dealership that was completely unfair, so he agreed to look for another car similar. During the next 2 weeks I responded to him with similar cars in the area to which he didn't respond until the second or third email or even a phone call sometimes. After it was finally decided there was not an acceptable replacement I asked him once again to purchase the car back he told me that he would but for $3000 less than I paid. With that I had no choice but to have Gateway Subaru do the work. I was told the car would be completed on Thursday so excited to have a repaired car back to me I patiently waited for Thursday. Unfortunately, when the end of the day Thursday came around I still had not heard from the dealership and sent out an email inquiring. Once again my email was ignored. Only when I called Gateway Subaru myself and got a return call the following Monday was I informed the heads were warped and at a machine shop to be repaired. (but remember there was nothing wrong with it according to Denton Ford) Yesterday, after two more weeks, I finally picked my car (and the keys) up from Denton. Unfortunately on the way home the turbo sounded completely wrong, and then the check engine light came on, and then the cruise control light, and finally the traction control light as well. What's worse is that when I take the car out for ice cream later I notice a nice new dent in the front of the car that removed paint as well and looks to be caused by the engine hoist while removing the engine from the car.After talking to the General manager at Denton ford I was told the check engine light was probably a gas cap not being tight (which is crap and doesn't explain the other lights at all) and worst of all the dent was between me and Gateway Subaru and not his problem. This is completely unacceptable because the car went to Gateway Subaru on behalf of them I was not a part of that exchange so it should most certainly be their problem. So now my car still isn't right and there is a nice new dent in the front bumper.TL;DR Preston Ford has the worst customer service I have ever dealt with and I would strongly recommend you look elsewhere to buy a vehicle

I had a great experience purchasing a new vehicle at Denton Ford with Ricky Towers last night. Unlike most customers who visit a dealership excited about purchasing a new car, I was a little less enthusiastic. I had been battling some financial difficulties after my husband was laid off from a well paying job and we were never quite able to overcome the challenges the economic recession had posed for us. It was time that we traded in my beloved luxury vehicle for something a little more practical. Mr.Towers was very empathetic and understanding to my dilemma. I explained my situation, gave him the payment amount that I needed to be at, and shared some of my perfered vehicle colors and features. Mr. Towers worked up numbers on a couple of different vehicles and rallied with lenders to get me a decent rate despite a questionable credit score. He researched several different rebates that I would be eligible for and by the end of the night I was in a new vehicle with several upgrades, an affordable payment, great gas mileage, and a color that I loved. In the finance office Mr. Meyers was very thourough in his explination of the paperwork. I truly appreciate the kindness and the dedication to meeting my needs that was exhibited by Mr.Towers and the sales staff at Denton Ford.

We went to the dealership to see about trading in our car that was in good shape but had high mileage. Randy and Paul worked very hard to put me into the truck that I wanted and kept me in the same price range for my payments. Gregory worked hard to get me the best financing available. Randy and Paul were very professional and easy going. I would gladly buy another vehicle from them.

Randy Jackson came out into the pouring rain to see if he could help me when he saw me looking at cars on the lot. He showed me several cars on the lot, and when they were not what I was looking for, he had the car I thought I wanted to buy delivered to that dealership so I could see it and test drive it. He made sure I was able to buy the car I wanted even though I suspect it may not have been the car he wanted to sell me, so he truly put this customer's satisfaction first.In addition, when I picked up the car, there were a couple of minor things that needed attention that had not been noticed before the sale was completed, and they were taken care of at my convenience and at no cost to me. Mr. Jackson, the general manager, and the service manager made sure of it.This was an excellent experience overall!

I am happy to say that we had a very pleasant visit with a knowledgeable, friendly sales associate. From entering the front door, your sales associate, Mr. Allan Lague was right there to greet us, shook our hand, had a very professional attitude and was more than helpful in directing us to the type of vehicle that would support our needs and not have us driving above our means . I was looking at buying a new car for my wife as she had 90,000 miles on her Envoy. I thought I was committed to GMC Envoy until I drove the Ford. It felt solid and I need something solid for my wife. We have 4 grandchildren and their safety is very important. I don't regret my decision to purchase from Allan.

When we stoped by this dealership we were just looking around not expecting to buy a car on this day. Well Mr. Vickers came outside, and it was very cold out, greated us and invited us to come in and tell him what we were looking for. We explained we were just looking around pricing cars not really sure what kind of car we were looking for. He asked what price range we were looking for and when we told him he said he beleived he knew what we were looking for and they had the car there in the dealership. We looked at the car, really liked it and then we started talking price. He was very understanding, worked things out for us so we could sign papers that day. Well need I say more, we signed the papers and are proud owners of a used/new to us, Ford. Mr. Vickers even delivered the car to us because there was no way we could pick the car up. I would recomend this Dealership to everyone, as a matter of fact I already have told some of my friends and co-workers if they need a new or used car to go talk to Gregory Vickers at the Ford Dealership in Denton.

I was from out of town and had car problems while returning to Baltimore. I didn't know anything about the dealership. Mr. Palmer was welcoming and helpful. I knew what was wrong with my car when I arrived, they didn't try to get over on us, they were up front. Most times the sales department is a little more accommodating than service. We felt very comfortable in the waiting area as I spoke with other customers who seemed to think it was also a good place. My car appears to be working very well...no problems. The price was a little more than my mechanic wanted in Baltimore but it was competitive. Getting to Baltimore was not an option before repair. Although it was pretty much my only option, it turned out to be a good one.....Thanks!!!

I took my car here after Quick lane was recommended by a friend. My friend was right, these guys were great. I take all my veichles to Quick lane they just know how to treat there customers. They are very respectful and they take there work very seriously. The thing I like best about quick lane is that the work is done in a timely manner which is very important to me because I dont like to wait a long time.
