Donohoo Auto gets an "A" from me. After extensive research for my target vehicle online, it was clear to me that Donohoo had the best web site with the most informative information about their vehicles for sale. The selection was plentiful and priced fairly. Flying in from the U.S. Virgin Islands, I needed to select a dealership that afforded me some choices to make my selection. Their customer service was exceptional from the point of greeting me at the hotel, through to the shipment of my new car.

I shopped around for a Honda for quite a bit. I didn't feel comfortable buying from the local Honda dealers in Birmingham, as they were so pushy. I had a coworker recommend Donohoo as a place to shop. Keith, Kathryn, and Jimmy are a great team. I am happy with my purchase.

I searched online for a nearly new car with all the features I wanted and found it online at Donohoo Motors. I called Saturday afternoon to inquire and drove over 3 hours Monday morning to see the car. The front desk staff even shared in my excitement about the car. Mark had my car clean, scratches buffed, and it was ready for me to test drive. Just a few hours later I drove away in my dream car. Great, great experience! Definitely worth the drive!!

I had searched for just the right Nissan maxima for weeks and found it at Donohoo. Upon arriving at the dealership, I was greeted by everyone that saw me enter. I was given pretty much the whole day to test drive until my bank finished their part of the purchase. My new car was washed and gassed up to send me on my way! The inventory there is massive so it's not hard to find something that suits your taste!

The dealership had the 5 cars we were interested in parked out front waiting for us when we arrived. The staff were all friendly and helpful. They allowed us to test drive all the vehicles without them which was nice, we just got on with it and chose the one we liked. Went to eat dinner while our paperwork was processed, after dinner we were able to sign and drive. Excellent customer service follow up so far :)

This is the first time I have bought a car from Donohoo and the customer service was wonderful. Everyone was friendly and very helpful. We ended up buying the car and Trey and Chris were amazing! Trey helped us shop around and compare 2 vehicles we were looking at and Chris had our finance paperwork so fast we didn't have to wait hardly at all! Both Trey and Kathryn kept me informed on how long it would be and even gave us a car to borrow to go have lunch while we waited for our car to be cleaned and detailed. I hope to have this car for many years, but when it's time for a new one, I'll be back!

Check engine light was on and the smell of burnt oil emitting. Took my car in and was given an oil change and after checking all components no other issues were found. Have not had any problems since. Will definitely come back for any issues.

As I walked through the door I was greeted by a polite young lady who took my name and started the paperwork to start my test drive. Within minutes I was driving, what turned out to be, my next vehicle. The car was spotless, filled with fuel and ready to drive. That was the start of a enjoyable buying experience. I do not say that lightly, for years people have not reguarded buy a car as a fun experience. Jim Hardy, my salesman, turned that around for me. He is professional, polite and makes you feel good about your experience. I will recommend Donohoo to all my friends and family.

Nice selection of clean low mileage cars to choose from and I love the fact that you can drive them without the salesman in the car with you. If I had one criticism of the process it's when I called ahead 3 hours to set up a test drive at lunch both the times the cars were not ready when I got there, this kind of had me pressed for time. Everyone was very helpful and I understand the sales guys are not on commission and even though he wasn't my "official" salesman I'd like to commend Mo for all the help he gave me. I hope for the sake of future customers this guy sticks around.. you should ask for him if you visit.

Where do I begin. This place is amazing. Friendly but not fake (Very important) From the first email I sent to keys in hand a smooth comfortable transaction. You are treated like a human being that is making a very large decision, not like a dollar sign that can be beaten into submission. I will never go anywhere else to buy a car! I have told everyone I know about Donohoo after a friend of mine told me. I think 3 of them have purchased vehicles. We finally made the trip from Enterprise about 3 hours to see for ourselves and we were not disappointed! Go to their website and look at their cars and their prices, you will see what I mean. I cant stress how positive our experience was. They had the cars I wanted to look at lined up ready to drive. They give you the car and tell you enjoy and "we will have your next selection here waiting when you return", and they did. Give us some time..... We will be back!

Alex was great - very friendly, helpful and straightforward. Mo was fantastic going over all of the vehicle features with us and even synched my phone with bluetooth before I left, I love that there are no high pressure tactics, just honest, straight conversations and great customer service. I like that you can go in tell them what you want to look at and they bring it to you to test drive and you don't have someone following you around constantly. All associates were very nice and made sure we were ok when they passed by us.

I have to give 5 stars. We walked in told them which car we wanted to see. They pulled the car up for us to test drive. We drove it liked it and we bought it. The whole process took about a hour. It was great. They didn't follow you around or try to pressure you into anything. They are nice people in a relaxed but professional atmosphere. I will be returning for a second vehicle.

My wife and I had a great experience at DonohooAuto. When we arrived we were greeted by two friendly ladies at the reception area. They told us how to search for automobiles. We requested 4 cars to drive. They would bring the cars to the front door. When we decided on the car we wanted Mark got all our information and told us the value of our trade. Beck put all the paper work together and they gave us a car to use to go eat while they detailed the car we purchased. They were supposed to close at 7 pm but stayed until after 7:30 until the car was ready. I live about an hour and a half from the dealership. Had seen the truck I was interested in online and went up on a Friday evening and took a test drive. I was pre-approved through my credit union for the loan and advised Eric Jones and Trey Anger I wanted the vehicle. I wasn't prepared to take posession right then so Eric said he would just hold everything for me until the first of the week. When I called him back on Monday and told him it would be later in the week before I could make it back to pick the truck up. He got with Becky and they made arrangements and had it delivered to me at my home the next day. Nothing but good to say about Eric, Trey, and Becky. 5 stars across the board. Thanks y'all !!

This is the 3rd vehicle I have purchased from Donohoo Auto, and unless they go out of business it won't be my last. The selection of makes and models is unsurpassed by any other dealer in town. I like the fact that most everything on the lot is within the last few year models and low mileage. I appreciate the "no hassle" sales approach, although I do appreciate the occasional email I receive from a sales associate advising me of an update or asking about a previous test drive. I really like the website and saving cars that I've test driven or looked at and receiving notifications about them. Wynston did a great job explaining and demonstrating all the technology package of the Mercedes E350 Coupe to my wife. That man is a VALUABLE employee!! Melissa and Maria at the front desk are very polite, welcoming and accommodating and always with a smile when you walk in. The whole experience and process is very seamless and stress free. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a late model low mileage high end vehicle. If you can't find it here, then you're not going to find it anywhere.

My husband was looking for a 2013 E350 Mercedes Convertible and found it online at Donohoo. Perfectly, smooth transaction! Spoke with Jim Hardy on the phone. He called back within 10 minutes then took all of the information on my husbands's trade. Our daughter, who lives and works in Birmingham went during her lunch hour and took it for a test drive. She gave us her approval and after discussing the final numbers with Jim, we packed and headed for Pelham. Found the car online on Tuesday night and purchased it on Friday! It was well worth the drive to purchase a vehicle from a dealership with NO PRESSURE !!! We will be back! Winston was great in explaining the technology and Jonathan expedited the paperwork !!!

I've already written a review on my positive car buying experience at Donohoo. About a week after purchasing a 2013 Mercedes GL450 SUV for my wife we noticed the right rear tire was leaking air. We also noticed the cigarette lighter/charger was not working. Before I could schedule a trip to the Mercedes dealer to have them check the leak (which would not have been covered under the existing warranty) and the lighter/charger, (which would have) I got a call from Donohoo asking if I was still pleased with my purchase. I told them about the tire and, to my surprise, they said they wanted to help rectify the problem. They, and the closest Mercedes dealer are about 2 1/ hours away. We coordinated a warranty visit to the MB dealer and a visit to Donohoo on the same morning. My wife went to Donohoo first. They not only were expecting her but had ordered a new replacement Pirelli tire just in case they couldn't find a leak. They fixed the tire in no time flat (pun intended) she went to the MB dealer where they quickly changed a fuse, and she was good to go.The folks at Donohoo did this on their own initiative, they were under no obligation to do so. I was very impressed. I've purchased several BMWs, Mercedes and other upper end cars over the years but have not had a customer experience that equaled what I received at Donohoo. Well done!

I recently bought a 2012 VW Beetle at Donohoo. I has a few small issues with the car on the test drive and one required follow up twice after the purchase, but all were handled efficiently and professionally. I love the car and would not hesitate to deal with Donohoo in the future or gladly make a referral to them. Love the no hassle attitude of the purchase and small repairs!! Marc, Jimmy, Mo, Eric, Lydia, Tina and front desk personnel were all friendly, excellent to work with and very professional. Nice work everyone!!

My wife and I recently purchased two cars from Donohoo and I have two say that I am very happy with my experience with this dealership. No pressure. Drive as many vehicles as you want prior to making your decision. Trey Anger is the person who sold both cars to us. He is excellent to work with. I would and will refer anyone I know that is looking to buy a used car to this dealership. Ask for Trey. Kathryn Simmelink is also great. She called me just to ask if my cars were doing okay and asked if I needed anything to be repaired or checked. Both vehicles are in excellent condition for used vehicles. No used car will be perfect. I have purchased both Lexus and Infiniti vehicles in the past, and never received a call asking if everything is okay with my vehicle from either of them. That is what I call first class service. I really appreciate good service, and I got that in spades from this dealership.

I loved being able to test drive the car by myself, there was no haggling over the price, & everyone was very knowledgeable! It was a great buying experience. Jim, Marci, & Mo were very knowledgeable, & they helped to make this process stress free for me. The only reason I gave 3 stars for quality of work, is b/c of the detailing job. I was a little disappointed w/ the quality of the detailing work before I drove the car off the lot. There were spots on the door handle & dashboard that had not been cleaned off, & there were water spots on the back windshield that had not been dried off when it was washed. I'm not usually picky about this kind of stuff, but I do plan on getting someone to detail the car for me. But, this definitely did not affect my opinion of Donahoo! I've been telling everyone I know that if they are looking for a used car to go to do Donahoo!

From the minute you walk in the door until you are finished, everyone makes your experience a good one. They will help you with the computers (finding the perfect car), bring the cars up for test drive, answer all questions and are patient. If you decide to think about it for a few days, they encourage that and act the same when you return. It was the absolute best car buying experience we have ever had!The attention to detail after you've bought the car is excellent. They have several tech experts who can show you exactly how to use everything on your new car. They have it down to a science and are fast and efficient in the completion of the deal. I wanted to work with a female sales person and was informed there weren't any however the Manager, Kathryn assured me and also said when I came in to ask for her. She had also mentioned I would be able to test drive the car by myself. When I arrived everyone was very welcoming, professional, and kind. Unlike other dealerships - they weren't pushy and the process was smooth and seamless. Cameron worked with me on the deal, Becky with the closing and Mo showed me the various features of the car. Kathryn had followed up a few times to ensure that everything was okay with the car. I came from out of state and would definitely consider when buying again.

I purchased a CLS 550 Mercedes at Donohoo Auto at the beginning of September. I noticed a vibration in the steering wheel while braking and during different speeds once I test drove the vehicle prior to purchase. Their mechanics checked out my concerns and stated that the issue were because of a bent wheel on the driver front rim. They gave me a check to cover the cost of repairs and I did so and the issue still exist. I'm currently in contact with the company to set up a time to bring the vehicle back to troubleshoot the issue. I hope this issue can be resolved soon. I have faith in the company that I will be taken care of soon.

Was able to go and test drive several cars without the pressure of a salesman pushing for the sale. Once I picked my car, the service staff addressed all of my concerns and issues I found with the car inmediately. No hassles at at. My wife and I you're pleasantly surprised by the service and the courteousness of the people at Donohoo. This was a place to buy used cars but it felt like a place to buy new cars. We were given a very fair price and our salesman was excellent. They go above and beyond to ensure a quality experience at this dealership. We found DonohooAuto online and searched their HUGE inventory of gently preowned vehicles and once we saw what we were interested in, we easily got an appointment. When we arrived they pulled the car up to the front and took it on an unattended, stress free test drive. We were NOT met with a typical, loud, in your face salesman. Instead we were the pursuers once we made a decision what car we wanted. The salesman, Eric Jones, was extremely professional, laid back, and did not pressure us at all. Though the no haggle prices could be viewed as a negative, it made the process move along that much quicker. We took home our car in less than 2 hours! I arrived with a certain vehicle in mind. Drove it, looked it over and made an offer. The car was sent to detail getting ready for me to drive it home. While my paperwork was being processed another person arrived to look at the same car and a different salesman retrieved the car from detail for them to look at. My salesman came to inform me they were unable to sale me the car because someone bought it the previous Saturday but they had an identical car one year older for me. I was there on a Tuesday, three days after it supposedly sold. The car was still on the website, on the lot, and still being test driven. After I said I would consider the second option the people who arrived after me started looking at the original car again. It was very obvious I was lied to and I refuse to deal with liars.

Mo was awesome!! He was extremely nice & helpful. However, Edwin Leal was very rude & disrespectful towards us. He told us several different times that the car we were purchasing "wasn't the car for us" & "maybe we needed to go to a different dealership ". We drove from Nashville, TN specifically for our new vehicle & were shocked to be treated so rudely by him. We would consider purchasing future vehicles from Donohoo, but not through Edwin.

I walked in and was asked what kind of cars I would like to test drive. I gave Kathy a list and gave her my license to copy and I was on my way to test drive WITH NOBODY BUT ME AND MY SISTER! I was not pressured to buy anything. I was just enjoying myself! I picked a Benz, went through the finance process and was on my way within 45 minutes minus my test driving time... Which was about 2 hours lol. Great prices and great service!

Did research online to find a car I liked. Went and spoke with a salesman and spent a few hours looking at the car, driving the car and doing paperwork for the car. While I was there waiting another person came and was looking at the same car. After waiting on financial to crunch the numbers the salesman told me he couldn't sell the car because someone had come three days before and the car was in pending status. He preceded to direct me to another car identical to the one I was looking at but a year older. I didn't so much as mind this but the people who came at least an hour after me kept looking over the original car I looked at. I asked why they were still looking at it and he said he wasn't sure because the car was sold. Soon as he said that I questioned him because minutes before he said it was pending and I know he didn't have time to find out if it had actually sold. I could be mistaken but I believe I was lied to about the sale of the original car I was there to see. It seems like the people who arrived after me bought the car and the salesman didn't want to explain why he didn't process my paperwork sooner. Other than that it was a pleasant experience, no hassle, huge selection of newer vehicles with relativity low mileage.

As soon as I walked through the front door the front office ladies made me feel right at home. The experience was a non-hassel experience I didn't feel pressured to buy at all. The staff was ready and eager to assist me. I was by myself when I came to dealership therefore after my purchase they delivered my vehicle to my home now that's door to door delivery. The only thing that I noticed that could be improved is informing the customer of next step of process that will take place during closing of purchase of vehicle. Otherwise, great job staff.

When looking for a nice used vehicle this place caught my eye with their inventory. Even better in person. The price was right and fair. I made contact online late one evening and salesperson called at opening next day. Credit application was seamless and I scheduled a test drive the next morning. The car was as advertised. It was a little dirty and empty gas tank, but they took care of me. Overall, great experience, and will definitely buy from there again. I drove 70 miles to get there as well. Very friendly folks.

Donohoo has went beyond in being dedicated to their customers. I had issue with my tire and they ask me to bring it in and found out the problem and made sure I was satisfied with service. They worked hard on finding a resolution and fixed it.

This dealership has the BEST employees ever!! From the time we walked in the door, they were excellent!! My husband and I test drove several cars, but the employees never treated us as though it was a problem. We were under no pressure to purchase a vehicle. I live in Nashville but found a car I wanted at Donahoo in Alabama. Since I wasn't able to get to the car and I was using my car as a trade, there needed to be a fair amount of trust and information sharing on both sides. The guys and Donahoo kept me informed while I got them whatever info they needed. I've never bought a car sight unseen before but they made it easy and I wouldn't hesitate to do it again with them.

Everyone was very friendly, and took ther time to help. Kyle was great and very patient with us. Mo went over everything we needed to know about working the inside of the vehicle. His information was so helpful, he explained everything in detail! Also they were able to get us a really good intrest rate and their selection of cars were amazing, and all for a very great price! Everything was great! Kathryn helped find the car as soon as I walked in the door, Mark assisted me through the process of buying the car, and Mo delivered the car. The staff was very very helpful and very optimistic on finding the right car for me. I couldn't have asked for a better experience; however, after Mo delivered the car to me, a sales pro that was looking at the car beside me, opened the door to the car he was looking at and banged my right mirror, looked to see if I was in the car to say sorry, said I was "good" and proceeded to try to scratch the paint off with his finger, which did not work. As soon as Mo came back out to thank me for my experience, I told him what happened and he immediately fixed it. I would definitely recommend Donohoo.

First time purchasing a used 'new' car. Everyone at Donohoo was great to work with, from start to finish. They send you out on test drives by yourself, no high pressure sales or someone chatting about the car while you're driving, you can actually experience the car for yourself and take as long as you like. I originally started working with Jonathon Yale, who left for another job right after my first visit. I was seamlessly transitioned to working with Eric Jones. He contacted me to let me know he was taking over for Jonathon and was able to answer any questions I had. I did the financing online and Marci had all of the paperwork ready to go when I arrived to pick up the car. Mo quickly set up my phone to the cars BlueTooth connection. The entire process was quick, easy, painless, and actually enjoyable.

I think it took too long to fixed minor things. Hail damage, tree sap, scratches, re washing the car. I did not get a full tank of gas.,one of the headrest in back seat doesn't work, only got 1 key to the car. I think the dealership should've painted the whole car. I understand it is a used car. The sticker doesn't say As Is.. I'm not going to say that I wouldn't recommend this dealership, I just hope the car buying experience for that person is better than my experience.

We recently bought a SUV from Donohoo Automotive. They have an impressive inventory of used vehicles. Their customer service and staff are equally impressive. Their vehicles appear to be in the condition in which they arrived. They are detailed after the decision to buy is made. In our case, The mechanical condition also appeared to be original. Our first test drive was like riding a basketball. Both the front and rear tires were so far out of balance you could not evaluate the ride, handling, or noise level of the car. I asked them to balance the tires and call me, so I could test drive it again - they did. We loved the results. Their prices are not bargains but are fair (average according to Cargurus.com). There is VERY little room for negotiation. I would recommend this dealer. They were very focused on customer satisfaction. They have contacted me several times to follow up on my opinion. Enjoy the ride.

I called this dealership from Seattle. I was looking for a specific type of vehicle and had specific option requirements. I spoke with Cam. Great guy, very helpful. He went out and took close up pictures of everything on the vehicle that I may have an issue with, for multiple cars. We emailed back and forth, spoke on the phone multiple times, and executed the transaction. His colleagues arranged for all the paperwork and freight to get the car to me on the west coast. EVERY SINGLE person was professional and responded to every email and phone call. My only regret is that this dealership is not in my area in Seattle, and I had to call Alabama to get some one to work with me in the manner everyone should. My highest recommendation to this dealership and Cam in particular! Car arrived, looks exactly as expected. I'm very happy.-KM (Seattle)

After doing my homework on the right car for me .I decided to go with the E350 .BLK ON BLK...I find it at Donohoo Auto in Pelham AL. I contacted them to let them know that I was interested in the car but I live outer state. So I sat an appointment to come see the car but hade to cancel it twice. So the next week I made my third appointment ...that night I look on their website and it wasn't there. I thought maybe someone else had bought it..the next morning I phone them and ask why the car wasn't on the website any more did someone buy it. .The Salesman response surprised me ..He said we took it off the site and we're holding it for you to see. .To shorten the story,I made the trip and viewed the car and i was very pleased with it and really enjoyed drive it back home. ..I would like to Think everyone at Donohoo that was part of my transaction for your time and consideration. Recently joined the Acura family from Lexus and have been pleased so far! The team at Donohoo is well structured, caring, intelligent, and kind. I purchased my TSX from them, and after a week of ownership was concerned about the brakes/vibration that I was noticing. I contacted them and they quickly corrected the issue, along with picking and dropping off my car at no expense. They follow through with their word, and I appreciate that loyalty. They also have specific team members that reach out to their customers to ensure they are enjoying their vehicle. I am an individual that always believes that there are areas that companies can grow in, and that doesn't make them bad or any less, it's just a way to continue succeeding. I would suggest to this team that the sales agents receive routine training in the financial side of a car deal. I was very pleased with the way I was treated through the whole transation, and even more so from Donohoo's Customer Service team. My daughter and I had just flown in from Arizona to buy a used car for college. I wanted to buy from a reputable dealership in case she had any problems with her car in Tuscaloosa. We saw a car she liked on Truecar.com and even had an independent ASE certified mechanic from Lemon Squad.com take a look at the car the day before our arrival. He identified some issues and the Donohoo Auto team took the initiative to fix those issues. When we arrived, the car looked great and the test drive sold us. At closing, there were no hidden mark ups and only a very reasonable handling/paperwork charge of $199 + Alabama Sales tax. Within a day of the transaction, we saw a low tire pressure light, so I called Mark Hubbard who connected me with Jimmy Burns in Service. Jimmy asked me to bring the car back the next morning and he'd take a look at it. He found a nail in one of the tires, patched it free of charge, and had us on our way! This was our first experience with Donohoo Auto, and we know it will not be our last. We live in TN and found the car online, drove down to pick it up, and had our smoothest car buying experience so far! They made sure everything was perfect, including fixing some items of concern. Even after we got home, they stayed in contact to make sure we were totally satisfied- and that was after the deal was done, so they really didn't have to even check in. I was looking for a 2016 Ford Fusion Titanium. The salesman said they just got one in that morning. Went by after work to test drive. They handed me the keys and said to be back by 6:45. Never even saw the salesman. No pressure salesman was great! Best used car dealer I have ever dealt with by far!

I was unsure of what type of car I wanted when I went into the dealership. I met with Jonathan Yale who was extremely helpful and patient. He showed me several options and assisted me with details about 3 vehicles that I was interested in. All 3 were parked in the front of the dealership for me for the test drive. Jonathan told me that it was just "us" for the test drive that they didn't need to go with us as they" trust their customers". What an amazing experience, NO high pressure sale. Upon return of the test drive, we narrowed our choices down to two and Jonathan shared with me all of the details about both cars. Again, NO high pressure. He even recommended the least expensive of the two. Never heard of that when purchasing a vehicle!!!We chose the Lexus as it drove beautifully! Wesley met us to go over all of the details about my new car. He set up my blue tooth, helped get the Sirius radio transferred over, showed me all the bells and whistles of my new care. THIS WAS MY BEST CAR PURCHASE EXPERIENCE EVER!!!! Highly recommend them for any of your needs. EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE!

i generally buy new and keep the car for about ten years. When I was ready for my next purchase I found the car I was looking for on the Donohoo website. I live in Fairhope so it was a three hour drive to their site. The process is organized and I looked at about five cars and test drove each. The folks there don't rush you or pressure you to buy. Everyone from the front desk staff to the sales person, finance person, and knowledge guru (walks you through the car features) were just great! My husband went with me and seeing my experience, he intends to go back to this dealer when he wants a change of vehicle. I was surprised and pleased by the follow up communication after I got home with my car - calls, emails, a thank-you card in the mail, and the Donohoo newsletter.

The Donohoo business model consists of best business and customer focused practices. From the moment you walk in the front door until after you get home they are with you all the way. Need something, just ask. "Helicoptering" salesmen? Not a chance. High pressure? Not a chance. A very positive and upbeat attitude by everyone concerned. I drove over 300 miles to do business with them and don't have a single regret!I rated "quality of work" a 4 instead of a 5 because we found that the prep, or detailers as they are sometimes referred to, could pay just a tad more attention to detail. For example, we found sand scattered in the back, over the the spare and in the folds. White paint was on the back of the rear seats and on the security cover which I think should have been taken care of since the car sat for some days. But the good news is a fella in the back came out and was up front and honest about it and told Jay who made good on the issue immediately. We are very grateful!

Love, love, love this dealership. The car buying experience can be stressful and scary. Donohoo made my experience the best EVER at a dealership. I cannot say enough about the kindness of the employees. I never felt pressured, they were just there to serve. I will never go anywhere else to buy a vehicle...Donohoo from now on. Also, the sunglasses holder looked to be a little messed up in the car I ended up buying. They gladly ordered a new one and installed it, so that I was happy with every aspect of the car I was purchasing. I had to deal with the service department to get the new part installed. Jimmy Burns was top notch, super nice guy! My sales rep was Alex Wolfe, he was wonderful and a pleasure to work with. And I LOVED the lady in the financial department, she was exceptional!

This is my first time at Donohoo and everyone was very friendly and accommodating. The auto sale concept used was unique to me. What I enjoyed was the low pressure sales. I was disappointed with the preparation of the vehicle. I was informed that the vehicle was going to be taken back to be detailed, but when I received the vehicle it appeared to me that it was not cleaned at all. The vehicle still had dog hair, which I specifically asked to be cleaned. But overall my experience was good. Thank you.

We were looking for a late-model Pathfinder for MONTHS. I didn't want to pay over $32k for a 2015 Pathfinder SL with Tech Package (sticker price $42k new), everyone in the Atlanta area was selling them for around $38k, even used.I happened to find a listing for Donahoo on eBay motors and called to inquire about the car we wanted. The salesman Mark was very knowledgable and offered to take the car out of their inventory for a few days until my wife and I could make the trip down to Alabama. He didn't even require a deposit to hold it!We made the trip and couldn't believe how nice the car was. It only had 2900 miles on it, and had every option we wanted, and was priced at $31,995. We snapped it up in a hurry!I know we made the right decision, because the Nissan dealers in Atlanta are still emailing inventory selections to me. The 2015 Pathfinder SL models they are they are selling have b/t 10-30k miles, and are all priced at $38k+.DEFINITELY worth the 4 hour round trip drive to Alabama to see Mark and his team. Their facility was spotless and modern, and the entire process took less than 1 hour. All of the cars on their lot are higher end models, no junk for sale here! You can't go wrong with their prices, service, or selection. I will definitely come back when we're ready for our next car.

My sales rep Jonathon was really awesome - especially when I was disappointed when I thought I knew what I wanted when I got there - only to realize I didn't like it at all. I was very satisfied with my 2010 Audi A5 until the oil light came on before I even got it home. Donohoo told me to take it to the Audi place where they told me it would be very costly to repair the damage caused by a recall had not been competed. Donohoo offered to buy the car back. I accepted and they send a couple of men to pick the car up from my house in Mississippi. Couldn't have had it handled better. Will shop again in the future.

I keep on coming back because they have the best deal in Alabama, found a 2014 Camry SE car online , the car was located in Fort Payne, I paid the $99.00 fee and we prepared the paperwork without driving the car, it arrived the next day and when I drove the car , if was exactly what I thought it was, smooth ride, loaded , no scratch, looks new for a 2 year old car, no accident based on car fax, I bought a loaded Camry SE for a price of a cheap Corolla or Civic. This was my first vehicle purchase and Donohoo Auto made it a memorable one. The easy, no haggle experience is something that truly stood out to me. I had been researching different dealers all over the area for the exact vehicle I wanted, down to the trim level, color, price and mileage. Donohoo had exactly what I was looking for. Most of my car purchase was done long distance. My salesperson, Eric stayed in constant communication with me in regards to the vehicle. The car I purchased was at the Fort Payne location, and it was shipped down to the Pelham location the morning I arrived in town. All of my paperwork and financing was handled prior to my arrival and all I had to do was sign the final documents. When coming to take my test drive, the two ladies at the reception area happily greeted my mother and I. We were offered cold water to drink and the vehicle was pulled up for us to take the test drive. Jonathan did a great job going through all of the closing documents and answered any questions I had. Wesley came out and showed me all the great tech features in my vehicle and even connected my phone to my car before I drove off. I could go on and on about the this amazing dealership, but I highly recommend Donohoo Auto for your next vehicle purchase!

I could write a book about great my experience was with Donohoo. From the time I entered, everyone was helpful. No one ever just left you "standing there." My sales person was Eric Jones and he was the most helpful and professional salesperson I have worked with. Even before I actually arrived, he would reach to me via email to see if I was still car hunting. His consistency and speedy response times won me and my dad over completely. To top it off, once we arrived home with my car, I had to take it to the dealership to check a window shade that was not properly functioning. We called back to Donohoo because the shade was not covered and without a single hitch, they offered to pay the tab because the malfunction was caused on their behalf. Talk about awesome customer care!!! As long as I am driving, Donohoo will always have my business!!

After trying to deal with our hometown car dealers, we gave up and took a 2 hour drive to Donohoo Auto in Pelham. Wow, this place is ran like no other car dealership I have ever dealt with,,, and I am over 50 years old and purchased many cars. It was actually fun to shop and I have never seen so many choices of BMWs and Mercedes! And, they are priced to sell. The environment is casual and professional and organized like none other. Went in for my first oil change and was greeted with smiles and hellos from the moment I walked through the door. When over to the counter to check in for my oil change and the technician already knew my name, I thought that was a great Personal Touch. In less than 35 minutes my vehicle was ready to go. They were very conscious of time and that stands out a lot. I would have given five stars if they would have vacuumed the interior.

Not only does Donohoo have one of the best selections of inventory, the staff is what really made the experience so great! Each person that helped me was extremely honest, knowledgeable and professional; I always felt comfortable and never felt pressured. I've dealt with representatives at other manufacturing dealerships, Carmax, Driver's Way, etc. and I can honestly say there is no comparison to the customer service I experienced here. Definitely make Donohoo your first stop when car shopping!

Staff was very helpful in finding vehicles that I was interested in. I really like the way they pull them up for you and let you take a spin, then try another one,... Great selection of late model low mileage vehicles! Very fair trade in value for my former vehicle as well. I do lots of research before I shop - on the value of my car and the one I'm going to buy. I thought Donahoo was very fair on pricing and the process and staff were excellent.

I've now purchased 2 vehicles from Donohoo and I never plan on looking anywhere else. Their customer service is by far the best I've ever received. Everyone there is extremely friendly, patient, and professional. Trey and Chris were great and really made the experience enjoyable. I ended up needing to get a light replaced and Donohoo ordered one and had it fixed within the next week. If anyone is looking for a car, I would definitely recommend making Donohoo your first (and probably only) stop!

I recently dealt with Donohoo Auto for my first time and I was very pleased with the experience. I talked with Wesley on the phone who told me about the vehicle and then referred me to Jonathon since he was going to be out on the day of my visit. Upon arrival at Donohoo the vehicle was waiting for me and we were off on a test drive without a salesperson, just my family. We got a chance to drive the vehicle, look at things and make a decision to purchase. I had acquired financing with my local credit union, but upon advice of Jonathon able to secure a much better rate (full point less) with one of their lenders, a nationally known lender not some fly-by-night lender. The closing took a little longer than I would like due to the number of sales taking place, but all in all it was a great experience.

If was my first time to walk in to Donohoo dealership, I thought that I was gonna be ignored because there were so many customers waiting because it was a Saturday morning until someone told me to check in to the receptionist, after I talked to the front desk person, I was called to the office, brought the car I wanted, drove it and he gave me the value of my trade and approximate payment , the price of the vehicle was fixed so there was no pressure to both ends, they didn't charge me with extras unnecessarily, not like the regular dealerships . After I took home the vehicle, I found a chip in the windshield and Donohoo sent a glass repair man to fix it at my work site. It's the best experience I ever had in buying a car. Thanks Donohoo for the excellent service and made me afford a car of my dream , thanks for pricing my car less than other dealerships. I shopped around everywhere and they couldn't beat your price, your add on fees were cheaper than the others and in few months I will come back to trade my older car, I know the regular dealerships will rip me off with extra hidden fees so with you my payment will be affordable.

Donohoo was the last stop I made out of 5 targeted dealerships. It was good that I stopped at the previous places first because I realized what I appreciated about Donohoo. The selection was very good, the process of providing the stock number to the receptionist and then taking it for a test drive was unique, non-hassling and smooth.Jonathon Yale was very responsive and helpful.The only downside was that after several decades of car buying you expect / want to haggle a little over price. There was no negotiation but the upside to that is, from the beginning the car was priced at a very competitive price.The telltale sign of a pleasant buying experience is that I would come back to Donohoo if I need another used car.

It was nice being able to test drive a vehicle without a sales person in the back seat breathing down your neck. Overall, decent process with the exception of trying to pay taxes/title/register a vehicle in another state. I had to call back with USAA on the phone to straighten this out. Unfortunately, you cannot negotiate pricing but I'm okay with that, no hassle.

How do they do this!? Donohoo's customer service is absolutely unbelievable. As an entrepreneur and student of leadership and motivation, I left this dealership craving to know more about their "secret sauce." How in the world do they motivate their associates from the front desk to the service department to finance and sales to provide such outstanding service? Incredible.We found a car that we liked on the Donohoo website. We submitted a finance application online and very quickly heard back from Jonathon in Sales. He provided our terms and set up our appointment for a test drive. When we arrived at Donohoo a very friendly receptionist greeted us by name, handed us the keys to our chosen vehicle and sent us on our way to test drive our vehicle, alone. We were able to test drive alone allowing us to talk openly about what we liked, didn't like, etc. I also noticed that the car was freshly cleaned. Immaculate, except for streaky windows from cleaning solution I suppose. When we arrived back on the lot Ahmed approached the driver's side window and tapped on the glass. Guess what he said? He said "Wow. I just noticed when you pulled up that the windows have a lot of streaks. We are so sorry about that. I am going to take the car back and clean them again." What?! Serious customer focus people.We decided to buy the vehicle but had concerns about a couple of noises, a chip in the windshield and a chip in the paint. Jonathon immediately set up appointments to have all of this handled for us. We proceeded to sign paperwork and were on our way with our new car in less than an hour. Amazing experience and it gets better.The car is under full factory warranty. I made a service appointment with the closest dealer for our car's manufacturer but learned that they do not offer service loaner cars. This is problematic for us because we live over an hour away. I called Jonathon for advice. He told us not to worry. Simply bring the car to him, they will provide us a loaner while the car is at the dealer for service and they will drive my car to the dealer for me. Oh my gosh. It just doesn't get any better.It goes without saying that we will be referring all of our friends and family to Donohoo for their vehicle purchases. - S O'Neal

We flew from the San Francisco Bay Area to Donohoo Auto in Pelham Alabama to buy a 2010 Porsche Cayman at an incredible price. The salesman I dealt with was Alex Wolfe and he had one of the staff drive all the way to the airport to pick us up. Mark was attempting to sell a 34,000 Lexus car but with only one key and didn't make any attempt to get an additional key like most dealerships or even compensate for the key. I test drove the car and the inside was filthy. The car was previously wrecked and had not been buffed or waxed to removed the other vehicles pants off the grill. I spoke with the Finance manager and the sales manager about at least getting a key and that paint taken care of. The sales manager agreed to take care of the paint. But nothing on key. So I called the GM because he wasn't present at time and left a voicemail and I'm waiting on the return of his call. Mark said the reason they can't get a key because they sale so many luxury vehicles that Lexus, Mercedes, & BWM doesn't like them and doesn't move fast enough. So the owner would have the key.... I strongly believe in Lexus and it's the only thing I've driven and I don't believe that.

My sale person, Cameron Day, was amazing from beginning to end. He answered my many questions upon our first interaction and when the vehicle I picked out was sold within days of contacting him, he created a wishlist to find me a replacement. Once I found my perfect vehicle meeting him in person was a pleasant experience. He wasn't pushy to make a sale nor did he give the impression he wasn't interested in making me happy with my choice. Yes, the vehicle I bought was what I'm looking for, but that's not what I'm reviewing. What I'm reviewing is Donohoo's impeccable service. You won't find pushy sales people here, you won't find tricky sales tactics or dishonesty. What you see is what you get, but you get a lot like great service, people who seem to care, people who follow up with you to make sure you're happy and people who will make sure the ride you just picked up is working, running and you are happy. Price is set and the term "no haggle" is their mantra. If you are looking to negotiate this is not your dealership. Their requirement to show proof of one's bank approval is concerning. If you have a single car in mind your okay. However if you have two or more the "round robin" effect seeing one car for the length of the test drive and then it's immediately placed back in inventory. This can make the experience a lot less personal. Do your home work, look over the car closely, get the CARFAX, there's no salesperson to do a walk around with you. Whatever you find after you drive away is on you.

After 30+ years of driving, and having made numerous vehicle purchases, I have never had a more pleasant experience than the two times I have purchased from Donohoo. They have an awesome web site that easily allows for a detailed search of their inventory. On our last visit I showed up and the car I was interested in was backed up to the the curb in front of the building as I had called ahead. After being greeted warmly by their two receptionists, and having my DL info collected, we were invited to take it for a test drive at our leisure with no other interaction from their sales staff. We took the next half hour to inspect and drive the car, and then met with a member of their sales team (Mark Hubbard) who gave us hard copies of the CarFax (also found in their web site listings) and Auto Check reports for the vehicle. All vehicles that I considered were priced very reasonably with respect to KBB Fair Purchase Price and NADA numbers. They advertise no haggle pricing, and I saw no reason to based on the research I had done. I asked for the vehicle to be put on a rack in their service department for a more thorough evaluation, and within 10 minutes I was walking underneath it with a flashlight. (NOTE: Their service department is quite clean and highly organized...pretty much what you would find at a new car dealership. Very impressive for a type A person like myself.) After about 15 - 20 to minutes to prepare the paperwork I was taken to their business manager to sign the documents and close the deal.I have never encountered another dealer that does business quite the way they do at Dononoo. My wife absolutely LOATHES car shopping as she has tagged along on too many visits to dealerships that lasted WAY too long (mostly in an attempt to pressure a sale). Her preference is for car shopping to be like dress shopping...go to the store...get directed to the appropriate department...pick out a few dresses...try them on...decide which one you like (can be more than one in dress shopping!)...head to a cashier...pay and leave. The customer service is unmatched. Trey Anger and the entire staff made this a phenomenal experience. My concerns were addressed completely and were important. Definitely my go-to place for now on. Jimmy Burns is ALWAYS helpful, friendly and makes sure that I am taken care of. I have called Jimmy twice in the past 6 months in an emergency and he has taken care of me promptly, without question and made sure I was taken care of. The last time I needed service (January 26, 2016) I told Jimmy that when I have car problems my mind automatically tells me to call Jimmy because I know I will be taken care of promptly, correctly and without problems or disappointment. A true asset to Donohoo!! (I have to comment on Jay Martin as well. Jay has sold me 2 Donohoo cars. Shopping at Donohoo Auto was an all new and refreshing car buy experience. Talk about no hassle..you show up, test drive and buy. No one follows you around, no pushy sale people, and test drives are solo. If you like the car at that price, you talk with a sales person and the deal is done. I have to mention, after the purchase I noticed the front tires were worn, called the dealership and they replaced them without any hassle. When it came time to close the sale, I was literally in and out under a hour. I highly recommend this dealership

I've never before bought a car new or used where I did not suffer some form of buyers remorse. I was in search of a fairly new Nissan Rogue for my daughters graduation when I saw their advertisement for a unit with the necessary options. I was going through Birmingham on the way back from a beach trip and decided to stop by Donohooauto on the way home. No pressure, lets us test drive on our own, unit was nicely detailed with new tires at a great price. I was able to test drive then purchase said unit within 2 hours. Sales rep was super.... I felt really good about buying from this dealer...(NO BUYERS REMORSE). Needless to say my daughter was thrilled because we were able to purchase exactly what she wanted.

My daughter found an auto here that she loved. The purchase price was no-haggle, which usually means that the price is discounted somewhat over what you might see elsewhere. There was no discount, the price was too high for the year and mileage, and they refused to negotiate at all. My 3% discounted offer was declined, and the salesman told me they would not reduce the price at all because they just got the vehicle(?). The salesman was friendly enough toward us, but acted like he didn't care if I bought the car or not. They did offer to fix a couple of things we found wrong: the passenger seat would not fold up to allow entry/exit for rear seat passengers, and to remove 3 cigarette burns from the upholstery. The salesman called me and told me that they could not figure out how to fix the seat, and a used replacement seat was too expensive so I would have to take it as-is. After purchase, it took all of 30 minutes for a mechanic to fix the seat(at my expense of course) - I suspect Donahoo never looked at it. The "removal" of the cigarette burns was accomplished, but the burn areas now have much larger worn-looking spots, different than the rest of the upholstery. I then asked for some discount due to the poor work done on the upholstery and because they didn't fix the seat, but I was told still no discount, take it or leave it. Due to my complaints, they offered to give me a free oil change service, and a car detail(work order says only "car wash"). We'll see how that goes. The salesman ignored my request to finance at my credit union(he said he forgot). He presented a sheet with 3 financing offers, two of which were crossed out and he said were declined. I haven't been declined on any sort of loan in 30 years! Their actions caused 5 hard credit checks on my credit record, dropping my credit score 50 points. Even then, my credit union approved my loan immediately as I have excellent credit and haven't had a loan declined in 25 years, so I doubt Donahoo's story. It seems they may have some deal going to route all their financing to a specific bank. All-in-all, a terrible experience. Yes, I bought the vehicle for my daughter, and she did not care about any of those issues, so I caved. I know I could have (and should have) walked out. Remember, just because a dealer has an impressive new facility and offers "no-haggle pricing" does not mean they are a good dealer or that the price will be fair. I found this place to be a dressed up old school used car dealer, except for the no negotiating a price that was clearly too high. I'll not purchase there again, and will recommend finding a care somewhere else to anyone I know that's looking.

Had a good experience dealing with Donohoo picking up a used car I had selected to buy online. Excellent modern facility. Huge inventory of mostly upper line cars to choose from. Staff extremely friendly and very professional. No pushy salesmen. No extra unexpected charges at signing, nor pressure for same. Car was filled up with gas, and an individual was assigned to sit in the car and explain all the features to us before leaving the lot. I'd prefer to buy from them again when I'm in the market for another car. Note: I have NO connection to this agency other than this purchase.

Bought an 07 BMW 750li from Donohoo with 80,000 miles. It was actually a great buying experience overall and they seemed to know what they were doing. They had told me up front that it had been in a minor accident which I accepted. On my drive home a "transmission fault" message appeared. I turned the car off and back on and it disappeared so thought it was a fluke. The dealership was closed by then anyway so I couldn't drive it back to them. Within two days of buying the car I received the error message again and the doors (passenger and driver) would not close. I contacted Donohoo and they stated basically to take it to BMW. They could not do anything about it. I ended up having to replace the transmission boot ($800) and then two door actuators ($1700) within a three week period and was in the shop for almost a month. When I talked to Donohoo about just returning the car back to them or trading it in, they said they would buy it back but at quite a discounted price. They made no offer to help pay for any of the costs and just kept claiming that they had no trouble with the car and wouldn't do anything to help me. Needless to say, I will not be buying another vehicle from them nor will I recommend them to anyone.

Just took delivery of a 2009 Audi S8 on 7/31/15 - and the car is far nicer than either the photos or description. I recently visited this dealership in order to purchase a used vehicle. I was not going to initially post a review considering I did not buy a car but ultimately decided to complete one. while visiting this dealership I was able to search their inventory online with the assistance of the extremely friendly front desk staff. After locating an Infiniti that I wanted to test drive, the staff had it pulled around front for me. while driving this vehicle I noticed a few small concerns. Once I arrived back at the dealership the desk staff allowed me to speak with a salesman in order to discuss the possibility of me purchasing the vehicle. While talking to this gentleman I mentioned a few of my concerns. One of which being that the vehicle did not have the model number (ex.Q50, M37)printed on the back like all Infiniti vehicles do. The salesman actually told me that Infiniti did not place the model numbers on the back of the vehicles for that particular year.I had researched this particular Infiniti for about a week prior to coming to Donohoo and found it extremely unsettling that the salesmen would actually suggest to me that the model numbers were not printed on the back of vehicles in 2012. This raised a red flag for me. The lack of model number could have been something as simple as the previous owner wanted it removed or as significant as the vehicle having paint or body damage. However the fact that the salesman tried to tell me that there were no model number printed on the back of Infinitis for this year make me uncomfortable. When you are preparing to spend tens of thousands of dollars on a vehicle you want the sales people to be honest and trustworthy so that you feel secure in vehicle purchase. Although this may seem very small and insignificant too many this was enough for me to decide to look elsewhere. I am by no means judging the entire dealership by my one experience but I just felt uneasy with that visit. I hope everyone has a better experience and finds the car of their dreams.

Let me begin by saying, I have not purchased a vehicle from this dealer YET. I've been in negotiations with a salesman for about a week and a half now and have had some trouble with the sales price, shipping cost (I live in South Carolina), and non-responsive communication. At first I requested delivery of the car and was told a sales price that included delivery cost. Then when I mentioned I would be willing to drive there and pick it up (toting along my 4 week old newborn, hence why I requested delivery originally), the salesman stated that he would not reduce the sales price based on how much the shipping cost was/is. My sales price stayed the same whether or not I traveled to Donohoo or had the car delivered to me. This situation has forced my accpetance of the shipping costs to be included in my sales price...which I completely disagree with from a business stand point. As for the non-responsive communication, I have requested pictures that I have not received and have had to call/re-email the salesman many times to receive a response. I certainly understand being busy, but for a dealer who prides themselves on "customer service", I expect more. Lastly, according to the carfax on a good amount of the cars listed in Donohoo inventory, it's showing some form of damage/accident noted. While the vehicle I'm interested in has a clean carfax, I'm having a separate pre-purchase inspection done by the manufacturer before purchase, based on my concerns that Donohoo is purchasing vehicles from an "accident/damaged auction"...I suggest you do the same before purchase. More to follow once my transaction is completed, purchased or not.

Everyone that works there is friendly and very knowledgeable of the cars they're selling. We actually went to CARMAX, Susan Schein, Hendrick Auto Mall and Donohoo Auto. I have to say that they gave CARMAX a run for their money on conditions of vehicles. Whereas, the prices at Donohoo were way more reasonable than CARMAX. All of the prices are competitive and the condition of the cars are exceptional. Their inventory if filled with tons of great cars. Most of the cars have either mid-level options and/or fully loaded. I would highly recommend anyone looking for a used car to at least check them out on the internet or run by their headquarters off HWY 261. You will not be disappointed!

Obviously DonohooAuto, LLC has excellent employees throughout the company, from the detailers and mechanics to the sales and administrative personnel and even extending to the delivery men who brought my car to Florida. This is the fourth on-line vehicle (plus two pieces of construction equipment) purchase I've made. Friends ask how could I spend that much money without even seeing the item up close. I tell them I know what I want, I determine its value to me, I carefully research the sellers, and I don't get greedy. The wealth of photos and descriptions essentially provided most of the information I desired plus I had already driven a similar car locally.

I found the car I was looking for at Donohoo Auto while researching cars online. The price was much better than other dealers were offering for similarly equipped cars and its mileage was very low. There were quite a few pictures included with the listing, and I was able to view the car's Carfax report for further confirmation that the car was as presented. I live some 600 miles from Birmingham but have a friend there whom I asked to go check out the dealership and test drive the car for me. She reported back that the dealership was clean and busy, my salesman Edwin was courteous and professional, and that the car was in great shape. I contacted Edwin to put a deposit on the car and set in motion the process to purchase it. Edwin was very thorough in explaining Donohoo's deposit policy, and we were able to conduct the entire transaction via phone and email. I made arrangements to fly to Birmingham to pick up the car and drive it home. When I arrived at the dealership, the car was waiting out front and all of my paperwork was ready. The car was extremely clean, and everyone I encountered at Donohoo was polite, efficient and professional. I am thrilled with my car and with my experience at Donohoo. I would definitely purchase another car from Donohoo Auto and would highly recommend it to others.

I have bought 4 cars from Donohoo Auto over the last 8 years and each car has been a better value than what BMW, Audi and Infinity offer on their own lots. The cars have been better quality, in better repair, sharper looking or cleaner and for a better price with Warranty. My latest purchase was a 2011 Infinity EX35 with less than 29,000 miles with Warranty remaining. I can tell you I got a great price at $4,000 less than the Infinity dealer and a better quality SUV! The service from the dealer is 1st rate. It was raining the day I came and they met me in the parking lot with an umbrella.....Who does that??? They also gave me higher than book on my trade and got me a great financing rate. I have dealt with the Sales Manager, Jay who is the best I have ever encountered in the car business. He makes buying and selling cars a breeze. Nick, their Finance Manager, will find you the best deal out there as far as terms and rates go. I live in Miami, FL, so for me to do business with a car company in Birmingham, AL, you have to know the service from the dealer and their staff and the quality of the cars are excellent!!! My previous purchases have included a BMW 328i, Audi A6 and an Audi A4....ALL were tremendous buys and GREAT cars!!! I have bought from my local BMW and Audi dealers and can tell you first hand, buying from Donohoo is 10x better! My fiancee and I bought a Mercedes from here two weeks ago, when we test drove everything was fine. On the way home back to Rome the car broke down. We have since then had to take it to the Mercedes dealership twice. I go to drive it today, and it won't even start. This has been the biggest headache ever. They sell lemons. I would not recommend buying cars from this dealership. The employees are very nice but I have had this car in the shop more than I've been able to drive it. Total bummer, when I should be so happy to own such a beautiful car.

I live in TX and bought my VW Touareg Executive sight unseen. I based my purchase on dealer reviews, vehicle history report & on line pictures as well as my confidence in Steve's verbal testimony regarding the suv. On arrival the vehicle had three problems which were unknown to the dealer. Steve had the sales manager, Jay Martin, call me. Jay was very responsive and with verification from my local VW dealer totally stood behind the issues and subsequent costs I incurred. This meant the suv was all that it was advertised to be and that I was one very happy customer. The Donohoo dealership lived up to their reviews and my expectations. The next time I am in the market I will becalling them again!

I drove from Dothan, Alabama to take a look at the Lexus Hybrids the dealership had to offer. After making the three hour trip, I was greeted by a extra friendly and helpful staff. I already had in mind the top three cars I wanted to test drive and all was brought, conveniently to the front of the dealership. After my decision was made, I moved inside to start the paperwork. I was introduced to Mr. Edwin Leal who is a huge asset to the dealership. Not only was he helpful and knowledgeable, but had me on my way in no time. The entire process was a breeze and I drove away with an awesome vehicle. If you are in the market for a vehicle, the dealership is worth your time and trip.I will be back to do business for my next vehicle purchase. My most recent used car purchase was with this dealership and I must say I was very impressed. I found the vehicle I was looking (2006 Ford F-150 FX4 Supercrew) for online. The price seemed too good to be true so I call and asked about it. The price was confirmed and I expressed my interest to the sales rep, Brian. I told him I had a trade that I was a little upside down in, gave him the VIN, mileage, payoff amount, and credit info. Within ten minutes he called me back with a deal offer. I accepted and drove down. This was a Friday evening, I knew they closed at seven and Birmingham traffic was in gridlock. I arrived at six twenty-two. I drove the vehicle while they performed a solid appraisal on my trade. When we returned, the offer stayed the same as the initial offer, and I had signed all contracts and completed all paperwork before seven oclock. Every employee that I had interaction with was friendly and professional. I felt like I was a priority customer and that my satisfaction was their only priority. The follow-up call by Brian five days later only served to solidify me as a repeat customer in the future. This is by far the easiest auto purchase I have ever made. Even better than CarMax! I love this dealership and will be doing more business with them in the future.

Okay so I was eyeing this beautiful 335i that was a Manufacturer Buyback. I had some hesitation due to the buyback situation and being branded a lemon but this car came with a CPO warranty good from the next year... so why not? I bought the car sight unseen(risky, I know) but have driven a 335i and had them double check the car. My salesperson was Chris Seay, he always returned my call and most times answered right away! He worked with me well above and beyond what most salespeople would do, especially some guy from CT claiming he wanted to buy a car. Thank You Chris! Every step of the process was awesome, they shipped my car up and quoted 7-14 days... I couldn't wait THAT LONG! My car got here 2 days later.... Not typical I am sure but definitely awesome! Thank You Donohoo I am a very proud owner of an awesome car! BTW: The car was lemoned due to poor fuel delivery, Fuel Injectors. When I received the car I brought it directly to BMW and they replaced all the Fuel Injectors under a Factory Recall and now my car runs perfect!! Took a chance and it really paid off thanks to the help of Chris and everyone there!

This was the absolutely best car buying experience I have ever had. I wasn't sure what kind of car I wanted to purchase so I went to Donohoo to drive different options. I visited the dealership several times over 3 weeks and each time I drove different makes and models of cars. There was a large variety of great looking cars and I was able to test drive cars without a sales person riding along. There was never any pressure to make a purchase. When I decided on a car to purchase I wanted to get an independent mechanics inspection at my expense to make sure I wasn't missing anything. My mechanic is close to the dealership and James dropped the car off at the scheduled time for a thorough second opinion. After the mechanic said the car was in great shape I started the purchase process The final paperwork procedure was as organized and stress free as the shopping experience. I love my new car and I love it even more because the buying experience was open, honest and stress free. I highly recommend this dealership and I will never buy a car any other way.

Donohoo Auto made buying a car very easy and very low pressure. I was able to try every car I ever wanted to drive over the course of two months. When I finally found the car I wanted, the paperwork was easy, and I was out of there in no time. There was a shimmy in the brakes, so they offered to take the car back in the shop and correct the issue for me.

Spoke to a sales agent via email while I was at work giving him my trade in information, due to having negative equity in my car, they was not able to help help me, however the call back and communication was good. If you have alot of negative equity in your car I wouldnt suggest shopping here.

Weile searching for a used car online I contacted Donohoo. Their online sales person (Lance Johnson) was very responsive, friendly and knowledgeable. He answered all my emails immediately and gave me all the information I needed to make a decision. At pick up in Birmingham the car was exactly as described. Test drive and paper work didn't need much time. That was a pretty professional process. Good overall experience. Would recommend them to a friend.

From start to finish the experience was everything car buying should be. I visited the store 4 different times over a period of a week. I walked in with a list of cars that I wanted to look at and the salesman got them brought up to the front two at a time. I had the opportunity to look at them, test drive them and ask any questions I wanted in between. There was absolutely no pressure to buy anything on any of my trips.

Our oldest son first discovered Donohoo several years ago while doing some online research into his first vehicle purchase. Frankly I was skeptical that the value seemed to be too good to be true but we agreed to make the drive down from Nashville with him to make sure he didn't get taken. We were overwhelmed with the experience. We are typically hard to please and out spoken people. When things go bad we are quick to say so but likewise when things go well we like to speak up. Jay Martin made our son's buying experience that day a great one. We have now purchased 7 vehicles from Jay and have referred numerous friends. The value is good, the price is fair, and Jay makes the car buying experience pleasant. When it's time to buy a vehicle we always do our due diligence and look at whats available elsewhere but we always seem to find ourselves back at Donohoo with Jay.

In 30 years of buying and leasing cars, I have never had a more enjoyable experience. I found the car I was looking for on the web-site (BMW 750I). Drove 200 miles to see it. When I arrived, I was promptly provided the car for a test drive. Took my time, came back to the dealership, was introduced to a salesman, negotiated for a few minutes (traded in a Mercedes) went into finance within 15 min and was on my way home in less than 3 hours with my 09 BMW. DONOHOO beat the price of their competition by 5000 dollars!! This is the way car buying should be! Professional in every department

I purchased a very hard to find Acura TSX 6spd manual from this dealership almost a month ago and have been very pleased with every aspect of the transaction. I sent an email query after having seen the car on eBay and was quickly contacted by Eric Jones. Initially we were unable to get together on price but a couple of weeks later Eric called me and said they would accept my offer. We emailed back and forth and he made it very easy by having literally everything ready to go when I got there as I live almost 2 hours away. Upon arrival the car was brought around, already cleaned up with a full tank of gas, for me to test drive after they scanned my drivers license. After a short test drive where the car drove out perfect I returned to the dealership to MAYBE a 5 minute wait to finish signing the final papers. That profess took less than 10 minutes since I was bringing a cashiers check. The closing manager was very friendly and efficient. This experience was a night and day difference from the hours long wait I had to endure in other car buying experiences. Where this dealership has blown me away was the service after the sale. The car didn't have the factory floor mats as described in the listing. After emailing Eric I was told they would be sent to my home. I did get them a few days later but there was an error and they were not the ones specified. I quickly received a follow-up call from a woman named Lydia who profusely apologized and sent the OEM Acura carpeted mats to me. I have nothing but good things to say about this dealership. Ask for Eric Jones, he's very professional and helped me buy the car that I love!!

I contacted Donohoo three times over four days via 2 different ways to ask for info on an SUV I was interested in purchasing, I never received any form of response. This has been my best car buying experience to date. My wife did not like her Lexus we had owned for only six months. So, with some extensive searching she found a very nice Infiniti G37S convertible at Donohoo. Given that they are 4-5 hour drive from me, I would not make the drive unless we had agreed on some numbers ahead of time. Well everything went as advertised. I spent around one hour at the dealer (including my test drive) before I was on my trip back home in the Infiniti. Painless, easy, and simply the way car buying should be. I was not expecting the large volume of high end inventory on the lot...it was amazing! Anyway, it was worth the drive and Brett was very professional by being very transparent with the numbers while not trying to play games. I would recommend and do business with them again.

Plenty of cars to select from. I like the freedom of going on a test drive on your own. You can make a clear decision without being pressed by anyone. This is my second BMW 335i that I have bought from Donohoo Auto and both experiences have been enjoyable and easy. I honestly did not have to lift a finger. All I had to do was show up, sign my paper work, and drive off the lot with my beautiful car! I would want to say thank you to Eric Jones and Chris Seay for their hard work in helping me with this purchase. Eric Jones was the one who informed me about the new inventory and after seeing the pictures, I could not resist. Eric also helped me with my appraisal process and worked with the finance department to get my proposed purchase agreement together. He always kept me informed when the vehicle was in the body shop and answered all my questions and concerns. Eric convinced me that this car was for me! Chris Seay was the one who also kept me informed about my vehicle when it was in the body shop and was the one who sold me my car. Chris knew how much I wanted this car and went above and beyond to help me get it. Even though Eric had already run my finances with the trade, I had Chris run the numbers without the trade. In the end, I needed to trade in my car in order to finance my new car. Chris was there to give me helpful advice on which route was the best to go. He then had to run my finances again with the trade. Once again, Chris kept me well informed throughout the whole purchasing process. Chris was able to multitask with multiple customers when I came in the office and he made sure that all my requests were completed. Therefore, because of them going above and beyond my expectations, Eric and Chris had made my purchase/trade experience at Donohoo a wonderful and easy experience. I would definitely buy another vehicle from Donohoo Auto again!

Found the car that I had decided I would purchase in Jan ,14 when I thought there would be a few used 2014 models available on line. Donohoo had 2 vehicles already in stock with very low miles. Called on the phone, negotiated a good trade for my vehicle, drove 6.5 hours to the facility. Test drove and was sold. Best car buying experience I've ever had in over 50 years of buying cars.

I have never seen a dealer like this one. This is AMAZING!!! There is no pressure from a salesman. You test drive the car(s) you like and there is no pressure to buy. You test drive the vehicle(s) and there is no salesman riding with you, so you can take your time to run and inspect the car without any worries. The environment, the atmosphere is great, excellent. I'll definitely recommend this dealer to everybody. Give them a try, you won't be dissapointed.

I found the car I was looking for at Donohoo Auto through http://autotrader.com. The price was much better than other dealers were offering for similarly equipped cars and its mileage was very low. There were quite a few pictures included with the listing, and I was able to view the car's Carfax report for further confirmation that the car was as presented. I live some 600 miles from Birmingham but have a friend there whom I asked to go check out the dealership and test drive the car for me. She reported back that the dealership was clean and busy, my salesman Edwin was courteous and professional, and that the car was in great shape. I contacted Edwin to put a deposit on the car and set in motion the process to purchase it. Edwin was very thorough in explaining Donohoo's deposit policy, and we were able to conduct the entire transaction via phone and email. I made arrangements to fly to Birmingham to pick up the car and drive it home. When I arrived at the dealership, the car was waiting out front and all of my paperwork was ready. The car was extremely clean, and everyone I encountered at Donohoo was polite, efficient and professional.I am thrilled with my car and with my experience at Donohoo. I would definitely purchase another car from Donohoo Auto and would highly recommend it to others.

Best experience ever buying a car. This was the first time I bought a car on my own. They worked within my price range and made me aware of all my options. After test driving more than 5 different cars, I decided on a C300 and have taken my first road trip. I am ready to go on another trip the car performed so well. After a long exhausting search for a new car at many different dealerships I decided to take a look at what I describe as a gently used car. We bought my daughters first car from Danahoo Motors about seven years ago and it is still going strong. So having a track record of success, it made sense to look at what Danahoo Motors currenly had to offer. I found the process for looking at and test driving the cars was stress free. You simply let them know which cars you want to drive. My sales person was personable and knowledgable. He took the time to discuss the history of the cars without hassle or added pressure. Applying for financing was a simple online application taking only a couple of minutes to complete. I applied online late on a Saturday evening and I received a prompt call back on Monday morning with my financing approval. All of my paperwork was in order when I picked up my car on Monday night. The finance person was organized and my paperwork was accurate. I drove off in my sporty 2012 VW Bettle with a smile on my face.

I had searched and visited dealerships for 2 months looking for a quality used car for my daughter. The experience was frustrating and I disgusted by most dealerships because you get swamped by salesman when you simply want to look around. I found Donohoo on the Internet, searched thru their inventory and found a VW Jetta SEL I was very interested in. I made a call, got Edwin on the phone and made ONE offer which was accepted. I drove from Dothan, Al to Birmingham (a 3 hr drive) and found everything ready and waiting for me as promised. The paperwork took 20 minutes and we drove out with a completely detailed car, full tank of gas and with NO hidden fee's, no last minute pushes for services. I've purchased 17 cars in my life, this was without comparison the best experience I have ever had...And Ive bought from friends before lol. I will only do business with Donohoo from this day forward and plan on buying my wife a car in October from Donohoo. It's how car sales should be done! We live in Jackson, Mississippi and had been in the market for a full-sized SUV for several months. After no luck finding what wanted at the right price in Jackson, my husband decided to check out options in Birmingham while on a business trip. He found what we were looking for on Donohoo Auto's website. He visited the dealership, met a few of the employees, went on a test drive, and called me that night raving about the place. We began working with Gary in their finance department (who was incredible to work with) and got a rough estimate of what they would give us for trading in our mid-sized SUV. The next Saturday we drove back to Donohoo to commandeer the new ride. James Stamps was our sales guy - probably one of the nicest guys I have ever met. No pressure, no fuss... he was very young, but very professional. They took my trade around for a spin and 30 minutes later I was signing papers. During the paperwork phase I went over the numbers with a fine-toothed comb making sure they hadn't pulled a fast one on me with my trade-in value. That was when I realized that they had actually given me $500 MORE for my trade than quoted the week before. I didn't even have to ask, they just did it because that was what they thought was fair. After the purchase I sat in the parking lot completely clueless with all this DVD, 6-disc CD changer, satellite radio, power button everything. It was the dealership's closing time and I knew everyone was ready to get home, but James sat in the passenger seat of my new car showing me how everything worked. While we won't be in the market for another car for a few years, when it is time for another car purchase we won't even consider going anywhere else. Donohoo customers for life!

Wonderful experience at the dealership. I was in and out around 1 hour. I found the car via cars.com listed by Donohoo and sent an email for information, got a response back by Carson Linder and we negotiated via emails about the price. I took my family on a 9 hours road trip to Pelham, AL after Carson and I agreed on the price. When we arrived at the dealer, the atmosphere was friendly and there were a lot of customers on the lot. I was impressed with their selections and customer services. The paperworks took about 1 hour and I was ready to head home. The car was in excellent condition and I made it home without any issue - 500 miles away. Thanks again!

I got a fair price on my trade-in with a fair price on our C300. I just bought my car from Donohoo and I have to say that this is one of the best customer service I've ever experienced. There is absolutely no pressure to sell, which started the process on excellent terms, The salesman, Lance Johnson was very forthcoming, always willing to answer all my questions and my requests including driving the car to get inspected at a BMW dealership. I also received a fantastic assistance from Jonathan and also from nick at the finance department as this vehicle was set to be exported which is a little bit more complicated than a regular transaction, but more important than anything else was the service I received once the sale was completed and payment was made. I needed further assistance with the paperwork at the border and Nick and Lance went all out to make sure I was looked after. Overall from the beginning to the end I have to say I am really impressed,with the whole experience, to the point where I will look in their inventory first when it will be time to buy my next car, Chris

Great Car, Great price, fast service and friendly staff. What more could you want? I spoke to James in the morning and told him I was coming down to see the a 2010 Pilot Touring Edition. He had it washed and checked out before we arrived. When we arrived, I was blown away by the number of cars they have to choose from. We met James, got the keys and went out for a pressure free test drive(they don't go with you on test rides). Loved the Pilot, came back and negotiated a deal in about 5 minutes. Really 5 minutes, he did not need to"take the deal to his manager." James was respectful of my offer but said our dealership works on very little margin and made me a counter offer that was more than fair for the Pilot. A few minutes later we were driving out in our car, no high pressure buy this extra warranty (although they have them available) or useless "protection package". Seriously, the most stress free car buying experience ever. When I look for my next car Donohoo is where I will start. I highly recommend Donohoo (and the entire staff) to anyone looking for a great deal on a truly gently used pre-owned car.

I'm not someone that buys a vehicle every 2,3,years therefore I am not comfortable with the sales process and in most cases find it to be very intimidating. I'm also an average person with averge income but still like a nice vehicle. Most of the lots in my area, Knoxville, are very stuffy and pretentious. I walked into Donohoo expecting this same type of atmosphere. Oh my gosh, was I surprised! The facility is fresh and modern in appearance and the staff are all very friendly and approachable. As I was waiting to test drive my vehicle I observed staff interacting very effectively and efficiently - a real team approach. My next surprise was when they lined up the 3 vehicles of interest and said "you are ready to test drive" ......alone! This was great! I find it very uncomfortable to haul a salesperson around when you want to check out the vehicle and drive it under normal conditions. Next the dread of talking purchase. The salesperson came out, we walked around the vehicle, identified a few very minor issues and that was it. Because I was from out of state he contacted me thru e-mail. I asked for the bottom line, I was not interested in the typical game of "here's my number, what's your number" or "what does your payment need to be", etc. I just wanted to know what the bottom line was from Donohoo for me to purchase the vehicle. I received a quick reply as well as a committment to address the few issues identified with the vehicle. I'm the 4th member in my family to have a Donohoo Auto. They only thing that seems to change is they get better, bigger and even easier to work with. I was able to very quickly and efficiently driver all the cars I had on my list all within an hour. Every time I get a follow up call or message from other dealers I realize how nice it is to have absolutely zero pressure in the sales process. I received an overly fair trade in offer which exceeded every other dealer by $2,000. I drove off literally ten minutes later in a car with just over 1K miles from new. Carson was a great guy to work with. My best compliment would be a dare to visit their dealership and try not to leave with a great feeling and maybe a very nice car.

Well most of us are not able to just go to the first dealer we see and buy our Daughter a new Lexus. And if we were we could just get it anywhere we would not worry about 500 dollars here or there. These people do not come off of the price do not shop here unless you just like paying to much cause your to lazy to go look. Cause believe me yo will pay over 2000 K more even on used cars.

My expierence at Donohoo was very good. It was incredibly simple and painless. it was a wee bit impersonel as no sales person met with me prior to my test drive, but at the same time this was the complete opposite of all the other dealers i had recently met with. There was absolutely no pushyness and the description was completely accurate. So i would say it was an overall excellent experience even though i found it to be a little impersonel.

One of the most pleasant experiences ever for purchasing a car! We had considered buying a new car and had plans to buy a specific make and model. Due to recommendations from friends, we decided to stop by Donohoo's to check out their cars before moving forward to look at our original choice. Upon our arrival, we felt like we could take our time and wander the lot without the feeling of being attacked by sales people. The employees have a wonderful way of letting you know that they're available to help, but only when WE were ready. We were amazed at the inventory too! We could search their computer and let them know which vehicle(s) we'd like to test drive. The specific cars were waiting for us to drive without a sales person in the car. We drove 3 cars. Eric Jones guided us through the various cars and what each had to offer - never pressuring us at all! Eric was very knowledgable and helpful when it came to all of our questions. Needless to say, we left that day purchasing a BMW from Donohoo. From beginning to end, every step was very relaxed. We can honestly say we've never had that positive of an experience when car shopping. We highly recommend Donohoo's and Eric Jones.

Donohoo Auto in Pelham, AL is by far the greatest dealership I have ever done business with when it comes to finding a automobile. The same goes to my dealer, Brett Minter. He worked very patient with me and tried to find the right auto just for me at an amazing price. The dealership as a whole has a great flow of service, from the time you pull up to the time you drive off. There is no other dealership that allows you to test drive the car on your own before you are with a salesman so you can get a feel of what you are looking for. The customer service that you receive from Donohoo is remarkable and they all are there to help with your every need; from the ladies at the front desk to the young guys who pull the car up for you, to the salesmen, all the way to the finance department, they are there just for you. We drove up from Auburn to check this place out mostly based on the reviews alone. Over the years, we have purchased several vehicles. This was the best car buying experience. The concept that DonohooAuto has adopted was perfect and should be replicated by all car dealerships. You are able to road test the vehicle around town without a sales associate with you. We were very interested in a car and Lance was the sales associate we spoke with. He knew every detail about the vehicle. There was never any pressure. When it came time to make a decision, Lance made the sale a smooth transaction. Since we purchased the vehicle, He has contacted us a couple of times. He wanted to know if we had any questions. Wonderful experience. I don't think there is a single car on their lot they wouldn't drive or buy for themselves. Very up front about price, trade in value and vehicle condition. All kiosk based so no sales pressure at all and no roaming employees in the lot except to assist customers upon request. You could buy a car within an hour or two after browsing online if you wanted. Cannot imagine shopping anywhere else in the future.

The Donohoo car buying experience is incredibly streamlined, effective and allows the customer full control over the buying experience. It's incredibly efficient to conduct online research prior to a particular visit knowing the Donohoo team will have the desired cars lined up, cranked and ready for a test drive. Everything went like clockwork, and everyone was friendly, courteous, professional and knowledgeable. I had several phone conversations with Lance Johnson before making the trip and he answered all my questions promptly and accurately, saving me time before I drove over. Any concerns I had were dealt with promptly, no time wasted, and the car I bought was prepared and ready to go on time, which mattered a great deal since I drove over from Atlanta. The followup was equally outstanding -- several e-mails to make sure everything was handled properly and to request my feedback. Additional paperwork (title) reached me promptly and as promised. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Donohoo to anyone looking for a quality preowned car and would certainly return when I'm in the market again.

I live in Savannah, GA and was searching online for a VW Passat when I ran across an ad for a 2012 SEL Premium with a price that just sounded too good to be true. Carson Linder was my contact at the dealership and he was extraordinarily friendly and forthcoming in dealing with me over the phone. After some quick and to the point discussion on numbers, I was emailed a purchase agreement that spelled out all the costs in the detail. Generally speaking, I really hate dealing with anyone trying to agressively sell me anything. But the folks at Donohoo were not what I would call aggressive at all. Rather, they were very helpful, courteous, honest, and efficient. They stood by everything we had agreed to over the phone and so I was driving back to Savannah in my Passat very shortly after my arrival. I will also have to say that Carson Linder is a very pleasant fellow and I felt like he was working hard to try to get me the deal that I wanted, which I got! I drove away happy feeling that I had been treated very fairly and had gotten a great product at a price that nobody else within a 500 mile radius of Savannah could even remotely compete with. My wife and I have a growing family and will most likely be in the market for another vehicle in a few years. Donohoo will most likely be the first place I check out! I cannot recommend this dealership highly enough. Overall, a wonderful buying experience with very friendly personell who work hard to try to find that win-win sweet spot!

I have never considered shopping for a car a pleasant experience. I try to get a headache before I get to a dealership so that I can be ready for the upcoming shopping experience. So when my husband wanted to look at a SUV that he had found online at Donohoo, I was stressed driving onto their property. I was pleasantly surprised that they don't pounce on you and remain under your armpit while shopping. At Donohoo, they were organized by sending a runner to get the vehicle and parking it at the front door so we could review it. Was told to leave a copy of DL if we wanted to drive it, and we did all this without someone standing there. Each time being told if we needed anything, let them know. We are still shopping but I hope that we find what we want at Donohoo.

I wrote a review of my experience here that was somewhat negative. This is a large operation, and one of the owner/managing partners contacted me personally after reading my review. He took it very seriously, and he was genuinely sympathetic. He worked very hard to earn our business, and we ended up purchasing the vehicle we wanted for a great price. My wife and I drove over 200 miles and spent five hours researching and looking at over 10 vehicles. They were very helpful during this process. There is no pressure and no salespeople bother you. You give them stock numbers and teenage/college age kids go get the cars for you to look at and test drive. However, when it came time for us to begin to negotiate over the car we wanted, their salespeople are really cashiers. If you like the Carmax-like experience minus the cleanliness, detailing, 150 point inspection, and warranty, this place is for you. If you are looking to negotiate, their cashiers/salespeople aren't authorized to budge. Given the response I received when I promptly left after being their for five hours, I have a feeling they are paid hourly and not on commission.

We recently purchased a 2005 Nissan Pathfinder with 103,000 miles from Donohoo. Within two days of bringing the car home, the engine belt began to whine very loud, and we noticed an unusual shift pattern in the transmission. I did not have to call Donohoo with the problems, Catherine, one of Donohoo's customer service representatives called me to see how we where enjoying the car. Once I told Catherine about the issues, she immediately scheduled the car to come in for service at their dealership. Ina single day, Donohoo replaced the engine built and serviced the transmission. The car was good as new. All of this was done by Donohoo at no charge.

First of all, Donohoo's prices beat out anywhere in the nation for the cars they provide. Secondly, there is no substitute for customer service, and these folks apparently didn't go to "car salesman school", because they treat you like they would like to be treated--not like a number or their next commission. I can not tell you how pleased I was with my experience at Donohoo. I love the way their process works. No haggling, no pressure, no problems. We simply went in and searched for the car(s) we were interested in, test drove several and then purchased the one we fell in love with. It was like clothes shopping for cars--pick it out, try it out, buy it. Their staff was so friendly and did quite a bit of follow up after the purchase to make certain we were pleased with the car. The price was very competitive and I appreciated not having to negotitate with anyone or wait while they talked to their manager. I truly do not have a single negative comment about our experience and plan to make future purchases there.

I purchased a 2011 BMW 335i from Donohoo. I was a bit concerned about this being a 'Buy-Back' vehicle with a branded title, but Lance explained the Buy-Back process in detail, along with the current warranty and extended warranty options, which made the purchase more palatable.I flew down to their office from North Carolina, still nervous, but optimistic. I was pleasantly surprised by the level of courtesy and professionalism that they showed. The transaction went very smooth and we were done within an hour.While we were doing the paperwork, they were taking care of some final detailing on the car. When I got it, it was immaculate!Drove the car 10 hours back home without even a hiccup from the vehicle, but a permanent grin pasted on my face.Donohoo is good group of folks to do business with and I would buy from them again. This is my second vehicle I've purchased through donohoo, and I'm just as pleased (if not more pleased) than when I bought my first one. I always start looking for my vehicles on autotrader.com, however I quickly discovered the best vehicles were still at donohoo. I purchased a BMW 535i, well under market value, in excellent condition, and still under manfacrtuers warranty. I've recently taken the vehicle on a 2500 mile road trip, and couldn't be happier. My experience with Donohoo auto was great!! I found the exact vehicle online from cars.com which lead me to Donohoo auto. I called the sales department and was connected with Christopher. I asked him a list of questions which he gladlly answered, he took a walk out to the vehicle to give it a look over for scratches and dents etc. He gave me a few observations he found on the car, at the time I took Christophers word on the condition of the vehicle and asked if they would hold the vehicle for me until I was able to come in for delivery, Christopher said they could hold the vehicle for a week with a small deposit, at the time I was unclear when I would be able to make it to pick up the vehicle so I asked if they would be able to hold it longer for me. Christopher called me back a short time later and informed me that they would be willing to hold the vehicle for two weeks until I was avaliable to come in to pick it up. Upon arriving at Donohoo Auto I was greeted warmly by the receptionist and directed to my salesman Christopher. He had my Lexus IS350 pulled up front for me to take for a test drive before finalizing the paperwork, as I looked over the car everything my salesman had informed me on from his ovservations were spot on. The Lexus was in better shape than I had imagined! After a quick test drive I finalized my purchase with Marci in the closing department, again I was greeted warmly as she already had my paperwork ready to go, I signed a couple documents and was on my way. My experience with Donohoo auto was first class from the first phone call to the time I drove off the lot in my Lexus, I would recommend Donohoo Auto to anyone in any state! I was very pleased with my experience at Donohoo. I did not even talk to a salesman until I requested to. I was allowed to look the vehicle over and take it for a test drive at my leisure. While I was doing that, my old vehicle was assessed for trade-in value. The salesman went above and beyond to make sure that all our questions were answered. I was very impressed with the service. I know that the vehicle I purchased was one of the smaller sales, but I was treated no differently than if I had been purchasing the most expensive car in stock. I would definitely recommend them to a friend--actually, I already have.

This was our second vehicle to buy from Donohoo. They are wonderful! David did most of the work before we ever even came into the dealership in person...he gave us a value for our trade (which was more than we expected!), details about the vehicle we were interested in through email and our financing was done online. When we did get to the dealership they honored everything stated via email. Our trade value didn't change and the vehicle we were buying was exactly as described. Nick in financing worked very hard to get us an amazing deal! We will definitely buy our next vehicle from them and refer friends and family! They carry high quality used vehicles at great prices. Very honest. Bought a 2003 Tahoe. Was presented CarFax and Auto check documents. They hid nothing!! I have read reviews that say the "sell cars that have been in accident" or "they sell manufactures buy-backs". If they do, I can assure you that they do note hide it. Heck, they made me sign a form that I recieved both a Carfax and auto check history report. Price was very fair. Bottom line--If you know what you want and know what you should pay--This is the best dealership.

Jeremy was very helpful with getting me the car that I was looking for at a very competitive price. Their website was a great tool for finding the car I wanted. There are tons of pictures of each car with information and vehicle history. Once I got to Birmingham to see the car it was better than the pictures and Jeremy had described I was very pleased. We had a very specific requirement which narrowed our search by a lot. We wanted a 6 speed manual transmission in a Lexus IS 250 and when we saw one here at Donohoo Auto we were interested. The car was fairly represented by the pictures and the disclosure of the Carfax report at no additional fee showed the reports to be accurate. Pricing is competitive and there is no question about what it is. No 'back & forth' or 'seeing what my manager will do' like some places. We completed the entire transaction electronically and/or over the phone and drove from Austin Texas to pick up the car. Without question the cleanest and easiest automobile purchase I have ever made. No gimmics. No pressure. No hassle. I travelled 250 miles to look at a 2008 Lexus ES 350. I was told on the phone before I came down that they were flexible on the price. I drove to Birmingham and entered the dealership. No sales person greeted me or even looked my way. The receptionists were friendly enough. While they were pulling the car around for me to drive it, I took it upon myself to go shake Jeremy's hand. He was polite, but didn't look terribly pleased to see me. I drove thecar. The navigation computer did not work. The body was pretty dinged up. When I returned, I told Jeremy about the shortcomings in the car, but said that if we could get to a mutually acceptable price, we might be able to do business. He said, "We're firm on the price," which was listed at $24,600, and which was directly contrary to what I had been told less than 24 hours earlier on the telephone. Jeremy went on to say, "We've got a woman coming in this afternoon to buy that car, actually." Great. Thanks for telling me so I wouldn't waste my time. So I said, "Well, I guess you and I have been wasting our time here." Jeremy replied, "Well, I haven't been wasting MY time." He didn't try to show me anything else; it was clear he wanted me out of his hair as quickly as possible. I obliged him, and left.I was shocked and insulted at this rudeness. After traveling four hours and 250 miles, I would have at least liked something on the order of, "Gee I'm sorry, but this woman came in after you called, and we couldn't reach you...."By the way, I went right over to Highline Imports, and they were super to me, and sold me a Lexus THEY had, which was in much better shape. Drove up from to pickup my vehicle and it wasn't ready, had to wait over 3 hrs. Sales staff not knowledgable about the vehicles and lied about the status of the SUV. Didn't provide floor mats and found hidden dings/ dents...very shady, never again

Photos on internet did not accurately portray vehicle. Used seat belt to cover tear in seat. Photos did not depict peeling paint. Totally misleading. I drove long way to see vehicle and was shocked at difference between photos and reality. I'm old enough to know better but thought I was dealing with reputable people. They'll only fool me once.

My experience was very enjoyable. I love the fact that customers can test drive any vehile without a salesman harrassing the customer while the decision is being made. I will definitely refer the dealership to anyone. I arrived at 9:30, test drove the cars that I was interested in, chose the one that I wanted, ask for a salesman and was done by 12:30. It was great!!!!!!!!! The entire staff was friendly and helpful.

To be charitable, my experience with Donohoo did not start out so well. I felt like my Audi was not delivered as it should have been. However, after getting home with it and living with it for a day, I wrote an e-mail to Pete Donohoo telling him that I was disappointed with my experience. He immediately wrote me back, then had his sales manager, Jay, call me to hear more about my complaints. Jay insisted that they make it right, and agreed with the amount I suggested. The way Mr. Donohoo and Jay responded to me, and the sincere way they approached my problem, has impressed me beyond words. These are good people to deal with, and I would not hesitate to buy another vehicle from them.

I just have to say,WOW. A great dealership and a very honest salesman. I purchased a BMW750i well below national average and the vehicle was perfect. I purchased the car over the internet, sight unseen. Jeremy Allen said the vehicle was perfect with a few small problems, he mentioned it needed tires and only one key was available. The BMW showed up with free delivery, 4 new tires, and 2 key sets. I did not even ask for this. I have never dealt with such an honest and responsible dealer. I am so impressed. I knew exactly the car I wanted. I searched the internet. I found Carmax, but got a recommendation from a co-worker who chose DonohooAuto. I went to the website and was amazed. The price beat Carmax. The car was more than I ever expected. The online application was fast and simple. There was no pressure from anyone. It was the best buying experience I have had in 20 years.

To date I have bought at last count 8 cars from Donohoo Auto. For me, I really like the way they do business. They don't hover, and hassle me the whole time I am on the lot, But are there to answer questions that arise. They are very transparent with the cars they carry, and I haven't had a bad one yet. Their price is great. They have found a niche' dealership. I would highly recommend Donohoo Auto to anyone. You owe it to yourself to at least give them a try!

I was shopping for an inexpensive pickup truck for weekend/occasional use. I saw an ad onine for a 2001 Nissan Frontier Crew Cab at Donahoo. I went to look at the truck, and was assisted by Marcus. I drove it and we arrived at what I believe was a fair price. Due to the condition,age, and high mileage of the truck, I bought it "as is". I had not run a carfax report on the vehicle, although the ad mentioned there had been previous damage. As I signed the paperwork, the business manager disclosed to me the extent of the prior damage, which turned out to be more than what I would have thought. However, I proceeded with the sale since it appeared that the vehicle had been driven 100,000 miles since the wreck. When the vehicle was brought out front for me to take home, I thought I noticed an unusual noise from the engine area. Marcus told me that if I had any problems, to bring the truck back, and that they would take care of it. A week or so later, I isolated the noise, and took the truck back to Donahoo. Even though I had bought the vehicle "as is", Marcus accepted the vehicle, provided me with a nice "loaner" to get to work, and Donahoo's service department replaced the flywheel pulley assembly, which was badly worn, with new parts. I was charged nothing for parts or labor, and picked the truck up within a day. To me, what is noteworthy about my experience is that this was a $4000-$5000 truck, not a mint condition, $70,000 BMW or Mercedes that one would typically see on Donahoo's lot. In spite of that, I was treated with the same consideration and customer service as a purchaser of a much nicer, more expensive vehicle. I absolutewly cannot say enogh nice things about Marcus' professionalism and Dohahoo's overall customer service. I believe they went way beyond what was required, and would recommend them to any one seeking a nice used vehicle. PS: I have corrected a few minor things on the truck, which it needed, and it is doing great. Thanks again.

Donohoo has more used BMWs than anyone in the state. I studied them plenty and the dealership let me come back numerous times to test drive until I narrowed down my choice. I also comparison shopped dealers around the state and in Atlanta, finding Donohoo also had the car I wanted for a much better price than other dealers. The buying process was smooth and painless since they have no haggle prices that are listed right on their very complete website. I will buy multiple cars from them over the coming years and recommend them to my friends without reservation.

I test drove my car on a Friday and bought it the next day. Donohoo went out of their way to walk me through the process and they also took extra time to help me with a search for the original title of my trade in car. The day I bought my car they were extremely busy (Holiday Season) and there were many people in the waiting area for the salesman. I will say that my experience at Donohoo Auto was very good. I've lost count of how many trusted friends recommended I buy a car from Donohoo, but the number definitely exceeds five and includes a couple who bought both of their cars there. After test driving five cars and making a purchase, I understand why. The test-driving process is no frills, but that also means it's easy. After you select the cars you'd like to drive by searching Donohoo's inventory, they bring them to you, two at a time, and let you go. I came in with a list of stock numbers I'd pulled from their website, and it was easy to drive five cars (one of them twice) in two hours. After the driving was done, I spoke to a sales associate who was upfront about the car's history. He pulled up a list of cars of the same model and trim level for sale within a 500-mile radius, which confirmed that the car was competitively priced. (My research had already indicated the same.)After discussing financing and warranty, I told the sales associate that I was going to take time to think about it. After a bit more research, I returned to Donohoo with a friend in tow for a third test drive. They set up my financing (with a great interest rate), evaluated my trade in and had me out the door in about 90 minutes. At each step of the process, the staff was pleasant and helpful. I now count myself among the many who recommend doing business with Donohoo.

Today I purchased a 2010 VW Routan from Donohoo Auto. My wife has visited Donohoo in the past while I was deployed to Iraq, and although she did not purchase a vehicle her experience was excellent. As a result of past experience, we began to watch Donohoo's website once we were in the market for a new vehicle. Donohoo's inventory can be viewed from their website, and each vehicle we viewed had a minimum of 40 pictures. After identifying a vehicle we were interested in buying, I contacted Donohoo via their website and received a response from Brent within 30 minutes. I live 3 hours away from Pelham, AL so I scheduled a visit for the weekend and Brent held the vehicle for me for 3 days. Once I arrived at Donohoo, Brent immediately took my trade-in to the back for inspection while I test drove the vehicle. I was concerned that Donohoo would try to low-ball me on my trade-in since they post low no-haggle prices on their vehicles. Within 30 minutes he offered me a fair value for my trade-in and the negotiation was finished. It was the most painless and professional transaction I have had purchasing a vehicle. The entire process was unlike any I have seen. Their lot was covered with people test driving vehicles, and only 5 salesmen on site. That equates to little to no pressure, and a very laid back environment. I would recommend this dealer to anyone looking to purchase a quality pre-owned vehicle.

This dealership is like no other. The salesmen are not "sharks" and do not hound you. If you just want to browse, you will not be pressured by anyone; you make the first move. If you are interested in a car, the people at the front desk connect you with a salesman to figure things out. The employees are very helpful and will work with you until you are satisfied. It is a very calm and trusting environment- we were allowed to test drive a vehicle without being supervised. Furthermore, the cars are top quality. We purchased a used Lexus IS 250 and could not be happier. We had done a lot of research and Donohoo Auto had the car of our dreams for the best value. We were ready to buy as soon as we saw the car, and the whole process was swift and painless. This was my first car buying experience and I could not have imagined it could have been any better.

My car buying experience at Donohoo has been just splendid. I bought a BMW 535 2009. Brent was particullarly very very helpful and has been great overall to work with. Very upfront and friendly. Even though the cars are sold as is I had a few things taken care of after the sale, which I thought was going above and beyond for the customer.There is one guy with very bad attitude who sits in the right corner office(after you enter the building). So Stay left :) or go to Brent for the best service.

I was referred to Donohoo by a friend at my office who had bought from them. I have to say that my experience was the fastest and most convenient car purchase I've ever made (and I've made a lot of them). Donohoo has a massive inventory of very high-end and newish cars (no old or crappy cars in inventory). If you don't want to pay an outrageous price for a new BMW, Lexus, etc, then you really need to go to Donohoo.But what really impressed me was this: after we examinined the car (a GX470) and test-drove it, Marcus (a REALLY nice guy) offered to have the car delivered to MY mechanic for MY mechanic to evaluate it, and then Marcus had the car picked up and returned to Donohoo. I didn't have to lift a finger, except to call my (independent) mechanic and get the verdict on the car's condition. This service made me very VERY comfortable buying a car from Donohoo. If the car salesman offers to deliver and retrieve the car to/from the independent inspector of your choice, you can trust that salesman because he has nothing to hide. Obviously, I paid my mechanic a fee to do the inspection, but that's the point: I needed an independent inspection of the vehicle before buying... but Donohoo made it really easy to do that.I can guarantee you that my next pre-owned car purchase will be from Donohoo, and I highly recommend that you pay a visit to their excellent website and then to their lot to see for yourself. This is not a "low pressure" dealer; it's a "NO pressure" dealer, and you'll be glad you gave them a shot.

Went to purchase a Lexus IS 250 and they had over twenty in stock; all were in great condition. I chose two to test drive and it couldn't have been an easier process. I just told Catherine {one of the girls up front}which make and model (which was easily looked up on one of their computers in the lobby) and she had someone pull it up immediately. After the test drive she referred me to a salesman who was very attentive to my needs and helped me to drive away with the car that day. I would highly recommend shopping for your luxury car at Donohoo Auto, it is a one of a kind dealership and I will definitely be back to meet my future car needs. I was more than happy and satisfied with my experience.

Dealing with Donohoo Auto was a great experience. Jeremy Allen was extremely helpful through many phone calls and two visits, as was their entire staff. Jeremy took the time to answer all of our questions and we never felt pressured or that we were "being sold". They had by far the largest selection of inventory that we found for the type of car that we were seeking.Our preliminary car search was mostly on-line and we found their web site to be user friendly. I particularly appreciated the number of pictures posted of each car and the detailed information on options and accessories.I would definitely buy another car from them and encourage anyone interested in buying a car to check them out.

Great car buying experience! Bought 2 cars in 1 month. Had small brake issue and Jimmy Burns (service manager) took great care of me and the brakes on the car. They sell high end automobiles and if there are any issues they will take care of them. The finance manage was excellent. They got me better rates on both cars than I could have gotten at my bank or Credit Union. Overall experience was excellent and have already referred friends to Donohoo Motors and they bought a car the same day with the same experience. This is one amazing place. Great cars, fair prices, cool atmosphere, honest staff and wonderful service. It's laid back yet engaging. I've bought two cars with them so far, and both have been great. Marcus was a very helpful, polite and professional salesman. Make sure to ask for him by name. Kathryn and Lydia were always helpful and welcoming at the front desk. Jonathan was great doing the numbers, and Jimmy was wonderful making sure that the cars were in perfect shape even after we took the cars home. Overall great experience. The young salesman could use better follow up skills; but he was very nice. Front receptionist was extremely nice and the finance lady was amazing. Her lastname is Pyle. The staff and Brent the salesman i worked with were very helpful and pleasant. All the vehicles i looked at were in great shape and they gave me all the info i needed to make a decision. I ended up buying a truck and i asked them to check the oil and change it for me, they ended up changing the oil, oil sensor, and the O2 sensor free of charge. When i went to leave i looked down and they had also filled up the gas tank! I would recommend this dealer to anyone. The staff is not pushy they let you take the vehicle out on your own so you can make up your own mind. Overall i personally had a good experience.Lee of Birmingham

Found the car I wanted advertised in AutoTrader and watched it for over a month before going in to the dealership to actually drive the car. Upon entering the dealership, I was greeted by a very nice, friendly receptionist who copied my license and called for the car to be brought around, gave me the keys and said take it for a drive. Drove the car and knew I had to have it. When I got back to the dealership, I asked to speak to a salesman. As a female, I was actually looking for him to fill me in on the car's history, vehicle extras, etc., but he didn't do any of that. He was very low key, actually no pressure whatsoever. I had to pull info out of him, he did not offer any details regarding the vehicle. When I brought up the cost of the vehicle he immediately told me that the dealership does not negotiate vehicle prices, I pointed out that the car had been on the lot for almost 2 months and he said that they had already dropped the price $1000. In the end he did drop the price another $700. Since it was late in the afternoon, we made arrangements for me to come back the first thing the next morning with cash. When I arrived the next morning, I was told that the salesman I had been working with was off on Wednesdays. He failed to mention that he would be off when we talked on Tuesday. Long story short, they eventually found someone to help me wrap up the deal. In my opinion, the service was not really bad but could have been so much better. Like most people, I hate high pressure salesmen, but I do like a salesman who will spend time going over things about the car I am interested in purchasing. All they really did was provide me with a carfax. I had no idea regarding things like lowering the convertible top, when the oil was last changed, what kind of warranty was still active on the vehicle, etc. No sales pressure and no information are actually two very different things. In the end, I bought the car and I love it, even though they only provided me with one key to the vehicle. After paying almost 30K cash for the GT Mustang, when I asked about only being provided one key, they referred me to the Ford Dealership to purchase another key/fob. I did think that was poor customer service. Everyone expects two sets of keys, especially on a pretty new vehicle. Would I go there again? Yeah probably because they do have a large selection of vehicles.

Brett called previous owner to get the entry code, which was succcessful and that saved me at least $35.00 from going to a Lincoln dealer.Also I thought the battery was weak even though the car may have been sitting a long while, so they installed a new battery, and to top that off I was going to fill up with gas when I left the dealership,but to my suprise they took it and filled it up before giving me the car. What great service.

Donohoo Auto, Honest People that Care about the Customer Before and After the Sale! My wife and I went shopping around for a car a month ago. She knew exactly what she wanted and we had been to a couple of lots before we went to Donahoo. Their selection is fantastic. The other lots only had 2 or 3 of a particular model of car you are looking for. Donohoo has anywhere from 5 to 25 of a particular model of car so you can pick the one that you like best and compare model year/milage/price. The way they do business is a little different than most. You are not going to have a salesperson and you wont have anyone with you while you shop which is fine if you know what you want. Even if you dont know what you want the lot is very nice and you can drive whatever you want. We drove the car she liked the most and decided to purchase the car. What we paid was not much cheaper than their printed price. The thing you have to remember is that their prices are already as low as possible. Example, if i went to carmax or any independant lot and got the same vehicle/model year/milage then i would have paid 6,000 more. They are rock bottom prices to begin with, i know because i did the research and even knew how much they sold for at auction. The staff was friendly and they agreed to fix a couple of cosmetic things for us. When they fixed the cosmetic details we took delivery of the car. Needless to say my wife loved it. A month later i took it in for an oil change and the service man said i needed 2 new tires because mine were defective and new rotors on the front. I knew we hadnt put that many miles on it, so i called donohoo and asked if the tires had roadside when they were purchased or something. They told me to "come by and we'll take care of it." When i brought the car by they put 4 new tires on it an 2 front rotors on for free which was fantastic. Unbelivable Service. They have Great Prices, Great Vehicles and Unbelivable Customer Service! They have won me as a life long customer!

We recently purchased a low mileage used vehicle for my wife. We searched the internet and found Donohoo Auto. Since there were many vehicles on their lot that matched up well with our needs, we made the trip out to their facility. We test drove four different vehicles prior to speaking with anyone from their sales department. We were assisted by their customer services ladies at the front desk. Once we picked out the vehicle that we wanted, we spent 30 minutes with the salesman and purchased the car later that evening once the financing was arranged. This was a low pressure vehicle purchase and their selection was outstanding as was their customer service. We will definitely recommend them to our friends.

Donohoo Auto provided me and my husband with a great car buying experience. When I first arrived to the dealership, I was alone and not sure if I should go in since I really was not in the market for buying a vehicle. The receptionists at the front desk were very welcoming and eager to help. I already new which vehicle i was interested in, and they jumped right on getting me a test drive. The last time I purchased a vehicle the salesmane did not want me to test drive it before signing the papers. Once I was sold on the car of my choice, I was introduced to Brent Martin the salesman. He was very knowledgeable, and was more than helpful with the credit application and information. Signing the papers was even easy. I love Donohoo because they do not pounce on you just trying to make a sale when you walk through the door. they allow you to take time to look over their inventory, test drive the car, and make a decision. After the kids are grown and gone, I will be going back to get my BMW.

I read reviews about Donohoo Auto and traveled all the way from Kansas to purchase at their dealership. I worked with Brett over the phone and had the details worked out before arriving--upon arrival a mistake had been made regarding price, instead of blaming me or making me pay more out of pocket, Donohoo accepted responsibility for their mistake. This act will definitely make me a repeat customer, it is rare when a dealership will actually lose money on a deal to simply do what is right. I could've been put in a very percarious situation driving nearly 1,000 miles one direction to purchase the car I was looking for. Donohoo did the right thing, and the customer service was top notch from beginning to end. They are very low-key and don't force you into things you don't want. When I got to the dealership they had the car waiting and allowed me to go on a test drive on my own. This was one of the most comfortable car purchases I have made. Highly recommend.

I am a Canadian and was looking for a BMW wagon for my wife. Donohoo had just what I was looking for so I called agreed on a price and I paid for it. They then shipped the car to a city closer to the border and I picked it up and drove it home. Car was as represented and the staff was great. SOLID CAR - COMMUNICATION WAS OKAY, BUT SLOW ON DELIVERY AFTER THE DEAL WAS DONE. CAR IS SOLID AT GOOD PRICE - M6 BMW. IT WAS NOT IDEAL TO BE DOING BUSINESS WITH A YOUNG SALES PROFESSIONAL DURING AN EXPENSIVE PURCHASE I WOULD HAVE PREFERRED A MORE SEASONED VETERAN THAT WOULD HAVE GIVEN ME MORE COMFORT ESPECIALLY WHEN PURCHASING A BUY-BACK VEHICLE FROM BMW, AND FRUSTRATED THAT BMW, NOW ANY DEALERS WERE INCLUDING DONOHOO COULD PROVIDE THE EXACT PROBLEM AND REMEDY OF SITUATION IN CLEAR TERMS. ALSO BUYING CERTIFIED PRE-OWNED YET THIS WAS NOT WELL DESCRIBED RELATIVE TO WHAT THIS MEANS IN TERMS OF VALUE.

I just purchased my second car from Donohoo and I am very pleased with both purchases. I bought a 2008 BMW 535i that was a manufacturer recall and I was concerned that the car would not be a wise purchase. I took the car to an independent repair shop and paid them to go over the car. I took the printed report to my salesman, Jeremy, and told him that I would not consider purchasing the car unless the 2 oil leaks and the defective front tire must be handled. They immediately ordered a replacement for the tire and fixed the oil leaks. They were fair with my trade-in and they lowered the asking price of the BMW. I was treated professionally and considerately. When I left the dealership, the car's alert signal came on to let me know the right/rear turn signal was broken. I called Jeremy and he told me to bring it back to get it fixed. When I returned, the service manager, Jimmy, found that the turn signal had a melted wiring harness. Jimmy took the lead and called BMW to find out if there was a recall or another issue with this situation. Jimmy gave me a loaner car, drove my car to the BMW dealership and had the car ready for me just after lunch! I am extremely pleased and will sing their praises! OUTSTANDING PROFESSIONALS!

I must admit when I initially walked into the bldg, it was not at all what I expected. No one was attacking or harassing me, I was totally shocked. The ladies at the front desk were friendly, helpful and easy to talk to. I had a wonderful sales rep Marcus Campbell he allowed me to make my decision and if I had any questions he was there to answer them. I went to look at and I picked out my car the week of the April tornados here in Alabama. The car needed some minor cosmetic parts installed, when I came back to pick my car up the parts were not in due to a delay from the storms. I was on my way out of town so Marcus agreed that I go ahead and get the car and he will call me when the parts come in he advised I could stop back by to have them put on once they came in. When I returned to get the parts installed the power was still off at the bldg, they were working with a generator. I was unable to get my car detailed due to the lack of power, of course that was not a problem. I had noticed the brakes were making a noise and the steering wheel was shaking when stopping. I took the car to goodyear to get an inspection, they advised of the problem. I told Marcus who got me in contact with the service dept who didnt hesitate to turn the rotors and replace the brake pads. The Service Manager was awesome as well, unfortuntely I dont remember his name and I apologize about that im usually good with names. If there is any type of problem with the vehicle as long as you communicate with them and allow them the opportunity to make it right they will do so. I have told friends, family, coworkers about my positive experience. One of them has actually purchased a car from you guys since I told them about the excellent service I received. I STILL HAVENT GOT MY CAR DETAILED :)

This dealership is great, they have 'clean cars' many to choose from, no pressure sales - it's all up to you. Make sure you know what your buying (educated consumer) before you go to check the car. I flew down from New York to buy a MB and drove it straight back without any problems. I highly recommend this dealership, first class service. I've been in the used car business before and these guy are honest and fair. The key is - inspect the car in and out, make sure everything is original and works, make sure it has a clean history and drive excellent. If possible get a car that's still under factory warranty, this way your covered and have "piece of mind" for a while.Get everything fixed before the warranty is over, hopefully nothing will go wrong and you know you picked a good car from the start. I rated Donohoo Auto ***** 5 Stars.

I bought a 2006 VW Passat from Brent about 2 weeks ago. The staff at Donohoo is awesome. I walked in, gave them my license and they brought my car up front and had it running with the ac cooling it down for me. They told me to take the car for a drive and enjoy. When I returned there was no pressure to buy anything. I asked to speak with a salesperson and was introduced to Brent Martin. We negotiated the deal and after I was satisfied we finished the paperwork with help from Nikki and I was on my way. Easy. 2 days later I noticed that my headlights didn't seem to be working correctly. I bought the car used and As Is but I called Brent to see if he could help me with it. No problem. I brought the car in and he took it immediately to their shop and they fixed the problem. (Previous owner had installed the bulbs incorrectly) While working on the lights they noticed that the Check Engine Light was on and asked me about it. I didn't expect them to fix it because it was As Is but they told me that they had the part on order and would take care of that as well! I brought my car back to them and they had it fixed in under 30 mins. (some type of relay or something) They told me if I needed anything else to let them know. Donohoo Auto has excellent service and their employees are top notch. They have made a satisfied and soon to be return customer out of me. I will buy my next vehicle from Donohoo Auto. Thanks guys!

I had a positive experience with the Manager, Sales stff and the dealership in general. I went to the location after meeting with many other dealerships. They had a great selection of cars in the style/brand I wanted. They also gave me a reasonable price for my trade. All issues were resolved in a timely manner.

This was one of the best car-buying experiences I've ever had. There were no "games" just straight forward business. Everything was on the table "face up". The car was as advertised, the deal was fair to both parties, and the experience was very good. Everyone at the dearlership was friendly and pleasant. I would give Donohoo Auto an unqualified recommendation. I'm a senior citizen and have bought, sold, and traded more cars than I can count. This is the best dealer I've ever worked with - fair, open, and honest. Will buy there again and will recommed to family and friends.

The vehicle that I purchased on June 4th battery went dead within 30 days of the purchase. Also, my husband purchased a car from the same dealership in Dec 2010 and within 1 month, he had to get a new battery, new driving belts and new batteries for the keyless entry remotes. Even though warranties and extended warranties were in place, I feel they just hold these vehicles until their sold and do not maintain them because of the warranties. Having to purchase batteries and driving belts are additional costs.I feel they should do a better job with the upkeep of the vehicles sold from their location. If I had the opportunity to recommend this location to someone, I would definitely mention those issues before I mentioned anything about loving the cars that we purchased from this dealership.

I just had a great buying experience at Donahoo Auto. I found a used car on cars.com that met all of my criteria, a low-mileage Nissan Altima 2.5S with a 6-speed manual transmission. I took a printout with me which I gave to the receptionist and she said "No problem, we'll bring it around for you." Someone dropped the car off at the front door and I hopped in took it for a test drive. I had yet to see a salesman. I loved the car, but had another one picked out at another dealership that I wanted to look at. So I did and had your typical high-pressure, "What can I do to put you in this car" experience (not particularly bad, just typical). I immediately went back to Donahoo and said that I'd like to talk to someone about buying the Nissan. Finally I met a salesman who was very friendly and courteous, and not at all pushy. They call themselves a no-haggle dealership, but he was willing to knock off a little because of a scheduled price drop at the end of the month. The financing department was also top-notch. I had gotten pre-approved by my own bank before I started shopping, but their finance department found a lower interest rate than my supposed homework had. All-in-all I had a great experience. I can't recommend Donahoo highly enough.

No hassle service. I normally prefer to barter, but their prices were not beaten by anyone else. We chose a car fresh on the lot that had minor repair work to be done. They promised to repair everything to our satisfaction. Although some of the repairs were overlooked the first time, we brought the car back a second time and it was returned in perfect condition. The customer service was amazing and more than made up for the minor glitch. They will stay out of your face until you ask for something and then they will jump to do whatever you need. I recommend them highly.

I bought a vehicle from them. They wouldn't budge on the price, I was shuffled through their process like a piece of paper, and when I got home the oil light came on. It was almost two quarts low!!
