My Honda was recalled for the airbag defect. The repair was done in a timely manner. The service tech was friendly and courteous. I would recommend Duncan Hokie Honda to everyone in need of service.

The purpose of my visit was rework to a wheel speed sensor that they had already replaced, but the TCS light was still coming on intermittently. The sensor was "reprogrammed" at no charge.For the multipoint inspection, I asked for special attention to tire wear to help me diagnose an issue I saw. The report came back as good, even wear. I was extremely surprised and asked to show the person what I saw. It was moderate wear towards the outside (where it was likely assessed). At the inside edge of the tire was worn smooth, as if camber has been way off for a long time (my fault) on all four tires. This was not difficult to see once I pointed it out, and the tune changed to "these tires need to be replaced and aligned really soon." It is a good thing I was there to help diagnose my own vehicle.

Yesterday 7/20/2016 I picked up a CR-V Touring. White/Beige. Mike P. assisted me with ALL my questions/concerns. I felt NO pressure to buy. Paperwork went fast and smooth. I had some major issues with my car , the friendly service team made me feel right at home like I was part of their family. they were so courteous and knowledgeable. Its always tough when your vehicle breaks down but these guys really know how to take care of you in your time of need. my vehicle was repaired properly and in a timely manner, I found prices are very comparable to other local small shops and I knew factory trained technicians were completing my repairs. I give Duncan Honda an A++

We love our Honda Odyssey. It developed an oil consumption problem which Honda recognized and agreed to cover under warranty. The service people were friendly and courteous. The mechanic was top certified, and did a superb fixing the problem. The car runs like new. The experience was very positive overall.

Arrived at 2:20 for a 2:30 appt and was checked-in by Brandy. She pulled service information up on the computer and offered the remark I was getting close to the 10k tire-rotation point, and did I want to add that service to the scheduled oil-change and Inspection for which I had a reservation? I responded that I wanted to do so only if it was determined that it was required. She made the notation, and the car was taken back for service. While I was in the waiting room, sometime later, she passed by and said, They dont think you need rotation at this time. At about 3:20PM, she came with the paperwork and indicated, You are done. The checks were again all in the green, except for tire-wear. This was in yellow, with a handwritten comment, Tires cupped. When Brandy explained, she noted that this was likely due to an alignment issue. When I remarked that I had bought the car less than a year earlier and had brought it back for every service since, she remarked that I would have to take this up with Sales. When I asked why, again, the car had not been washed after the service was performed, she said something about not doing washes when the temperatures are in the 30s so there would be no problems with automatic door locks. (It was in the mid-30s and sunny.. really??) I remarked about my earlier experience, with my car not being washed after servicing, and she said, Well, Ill have to check with a manager to see if they could open the car wash. (Brandy did, clearly, try to satisfy me as a customer, and I COMMEND her on her interactions with me.) My car was washed and returned to me, and I proceeded to the Sales Dept, where I again met Chris. His attitude was that the tire-wear was not something he, the dealership, or Honda was responsible for. One remark he made was, Even a new car can have alignment issues if someone hits something in the road. Upon my further pursuit of the issue, he left to speak with the Service Dept. About 10 minutes later, he returned with Mike, the Service Dept Mgr, and we went out to look at the condition of the tires. Mike pointed out that all 4 tires were cupped on the inside. When I questioned the fact that such a thing should not be due to toe-in issues, or noted on a reliably-aligned auto, or as the result of hitting something I got the following response: Yeah, it could be a toe issue; When I questioned how such cupping could have occurred without a driver noticing any pulling, driving noise, or any other indicator of such, it was again remarked that it could have been due to driving on bad roads or hitting a pothole and even Do you drive on any dirt roads? Chris and Mike both remarked that they had their tires rotated at every oil-change, or 5k miles. (This after Brandy had checked and remarked about our nearing 10k miles earlier); In the end, Mike, the Svc Mgr, remarked, A rotation will take care of that! When I asked if he thought that was all that was needed, he reiterated his position. (Seriously?! A rotation moves inside wear to outside wear?? Please!!) I left knowing that I would not gain any assistance with the issue.

We had searched for a couple weeks for a 'replacement' for our Accord that had accumulated 209k miles. The one we found on Duncan's page was the most nicely-priced of any similar vehicles. Dealing with the salesman, Nathan, and the manager, Chris, was quite pleasant, and our buying process took less time than any in the past. We got a Honda Certified vehicle for basically the same price as vehicles that were 2 years older, or the same age that had no Certification. Chris spent an appreciable amount of time speaking with us to help us understand where he was coming from when we questioned the fact that there was little effort to work with us on the final price of the car, and the very low offer on our potential trade. The info he shared was reasonable, and helped to clear up our questions. Things to note if you attempt to purchase from Duncan Hokie Honda: 1) They will run any trade you have through autotrader, rather than simply booking it thru NADA. This will likely result in an offer worth less $ to you than actual NADA value, although they will show the NADA Retail Value of the vehicle they are selling; 2) The price sheets that they provide you each time a 'new deal' is struck will likely show a change on the "Retail Value" or the "Savings" amount....the actual price of the vehicle being purchased is not changing; 3) The above has no effect on their bottom line, but surely may on yours! ; and, 4) The person who types up the official documents and completes the sale is going to try to sell you various 'add-ons' such as GAP insurance, extended warranty, etc. They also have a $379 "Processing Fee" and Sales Tax is at a 4.28% rate. None of these things are uncommon to those familiar with purchasing vehicles from dealerships, but they are worth mentioning and should be watched...otherwise your bottom line may bump up quickly. (They, like other dealerships, will quickly attempt to target you with the maximum monthly payment you can afford versus the minimum actual purchase price you are willing to give for the vehicle.) With all this said, we would certainly buy from Duncan Hokie Honda again, and would refer family, friends, and neighbors to them...with the above specified!

Julie Felix was an excellent sales person from the first time that I met her on the live chat at Duncan's Hokie Honda website. I was actually looking for a used accord at first, but they kept selling out of them so fast and before they could get me over there to look at one and test drive it, they didn't have any for me to see when I came in to the dealership. Then, Julie and the nice people at Duncan cut me a deal that I could not turn down on a new Honda Accord since they did not have what I was looking for in a used vehicle. I love my Honda Accord!! Go see Julie and the people at Duncan's Hokie Honda if you are interested in purchasing a Honda. They will do all they can to go out of their way to help you!
