I recently purchased my second vehicle, a 2015 Grand Cherokee Overland from Dutchess Chrysler Jeep Dodge. My first was a Wrangler unlimited Mountain Edition purchased new in 2010. I've never had a negative experience with anyone there. Fast, courteous service, pleasant buying experience. I've seen negative reviews here and don't understand why. I'm "that" customer. I bring my vehicle in to be looked at any time something seems "off". It's usually nothing, but they check it anyway. They're great people. All of them. Thanks,guys!

Below is a list of the reasons why: 1. Salesman took the time to list and to work with me to figure out exactly what I wanted. 2. He answered all my question and gave me valuable information on the vehicle. 3. Gave me a outstanding price on both the new car and trade in. 4. Communicated via the Internet with me weekly on the status of my order in the factory 5. Notified me when the car was delivered to the dealership and expedited delivery to me 6. Came in on his day off to deliver the car so I did not have to wait for him to be back at work 7. Took the time to explain all about the features of the car. (Car was loaded with state of the art electronic features. 8. Gave me certificate fo 2 years worth of free oil changes 9. Thanked me for my purchase several times.I will be recommending. I went to look at a specific car, which they still had, and were happy to sell it to me at a good price. They took care of everything for me, very easy process. Everywhere else that I looked, the same car was $3,000 - $4,000 more than the car I found. They get a lot of traffic so they have better prices in my opinion.

I was so impressed with the salesman that took care of me the first time I went into the dealership that I did purchase the second car there for that reason. Aaron Davis was the salesman that took care of me. I was impressed by the communication with me and his understanding of what my needs were regarding the car for my wife. I was at no time pressured into doing something I did not want to do. I was comfortable making the choices I made and he was very knowledgeable in answering all my questions on either car. The dealership made two sales due to the courteousness and the sales skills that Aaron Davis portrayed. I stopped in to have my wife test drive a Wrangler and we met Freeman Marshall. He showed us what we wanted to see and also showed us additional models, including a Grand Cherokee Limited. I'm in sales so I am used to the "sales pitch" but I never received that with him. He was focused on building a relationship first and the sell second - which made all of the difference. He was honest and extremely trustworthy. I purchased the Limited on Sunday and picked it up on Monday. He was waiting when I got there and proceeded to go over every detail in the car. Words cannot explain how helpful and friendly he was from the start of the process, to picking out all of the options that I wanted, securing financing, and finally when he was waving goodbye to me a day later when I took delivery of the car. What is often times thought of as a daunting process, buying the car for me was an absolute piece of cake. I have dealt with other car salesmen before and left with, at best, a sour taste in my mouth and at worst swearing off the dealership for good. Had a recall that they needed to take care of and figured I'd have them fix an additional problem while I was there. They charged me $100 more than they quoted me for the work. As I drove home, I noticed the car was smoking under the hood. When I got home I found that somehow the cap to my antifreeze resivoir was magically missing! The car almost overheated and destroyed the engine. Thanks for trying to blow up my car! You guys suck!

Just leased a brand new Jeep Grand Cherokee with Dutchess and probably will never again! To start we spent 5.5 hours in the show room waiting for the sales rep to get organized enough to sell us a car. Then when we finally go to drive our car home we do a once over because it is a lease and there are scratches all over the hood, streaks on the inside of the windshield, water stains on the doors and roof. A poor detail job and showed us they were not prepared for us to pick up the Jeep. So the sales person promised to get the car detailed and the scratches removed from the hood. He said just call on Monday and ask for him and he would get it done for us. FIne!! I called him on Monday and he promised to get me in to the service area when the rental is available. Then I never heard from him again. almost a week and I decided to call service myself. The loaner car was always ready, it was never out! Then less than a week after we bought the car we brought it in for service for this detailing. We were told that we get 3/4 a tank of gas and will be charged if it doesnt come back with that amount!!! I was like this isn't my problem that you are lending me this car, it is because of your half xxx sales person/service. So we left our NEW Jeep for detailing for 8 hours. When we went t pick it up they said the scratches would not come out and we need to bring it to get body work. It will take 3 days to complete, which tell sme they are going to sand it and re-paint!!! WAIT... It is a Brand new Jeep and we are now going to the body shop!!! How about giving me a new one? I have this Jeep less than a week and its a lease. Now we have an email and call out to the owner, who I pray gets back to us!!! If not the BBB will be contacted. I WOULD NOT REFER ANYONE I KNOW TO THIS DEALER. GO ELSEWHERE IF YOU CAN!!

I bought a 2015 RAM 1500 from Dutchess Dodge the other day and couldn't have been more pleased with the experience. I stopped by there to see some of their new and used inventory and just look around, I was greeted by one of their salesmen Anthony Giannini, who was extremely helpful and knowledgable.There was no pressure at all, I truly felt he was there to explore each and every avenue they had to offer me, to be honest he taught me a lot about my options. I also worked with Jon Chick the sales manager there who also gave top notch service, They were very pleasant to deal with, patient, and informative it was a refreshing experience. They made the experience fun and exciting, which it should be, who doesn't like getting a new car. I've been in a lot of dealerships and I'm not saying they are all bad, but this experience stands out from all the rest. Every person I dealt with from Anthony and Jon and everyone in between down to the finance manager was a pleasure to deal with. I was blown away by their service and stress free experience and love my new RAM.... I will definitely be a repeat customer, I would recommend Dutchess Dodge to anyone...

I have always been a Jeep lover, so when I went to go get my first Jeep I was extremely excited. I went to a dealership closer to my house and quickly found out that some businesses do not care about creating a relationship with customers. After a very disappointing experience with that other dealership, I went to Dutchess Dodge and it's insane to see how polar opposite two dealerships can be where they are only 20 miles apart and have the same inventory.I can say that 10 years and 3 Jeeps later that there is no other place I will get my Jeeps from. Time after time, they have gone out of their way to check in and bring me back in. I admit, I love new cars and always try to get into a new one every 3-5 years. Usually that means I am at the dealers disposal, but not in this case, I can say that confidently. Dutchess Dodge, even more Nick Percopo, my sale rep, has always done AMAZING deals for me and put me in top of the line Jeeps. This last experience was no exception. Originally I was contemplating just buying out my lease and really was set on that. Then Nick, who sold me that Jeep, gave me a call and I figured what do I have to lose. Now it's important to note that I had recently changed jobs which made me go over my lease mileage by 10K miles. I informed Nick my situation and explained that I was happy enough in the car that without something absolutely amazing, I would just stay with it. In one afternoon, Nick looked around, kept in constant contact, found a car that he knew I would love, gave me another call and we talked out some high level details. By the next afternoon I was in the dealership but still wavering on whether or not I should really contemplate switching. When all was said and done, the deal that I got on the new Jeep...I can't even believe it. It was absolutely amazing and the entire experience with the whole staff, especially Nick, was stellar. In a world filled with greedy businesses and the idea of customer loyalty being left behind, it is beyond refreshing to know there is at least one business (shockingly enough a car dealership) that does understand why customer loyalty is and will do whatever they can to retain their long term customers.Overall, I have done nothing but rave about Dutchess Dodge and that is the only place that I recommend to anyone who is looking for a new vehicle. Without a doubt, there is NO other place I will bring my business back to as well. Just purchased a Chrysler town and country with them the other night and Andre and the rest of the staff couldn't have made things go more smoothly. He went above and beyond and sincerely appreciated our business. The kids play area and lounge was fantastic and allowed us to talk with Andre and go over all the paperwork without the stress of our kids running around. Would recommend this dealer!

Last February I brought my jeep in for service. There were a few things that needed to be fixed including ball joints. I dropped the car off the night before and was told it would take about a day and a half to have the work done. No big deal, I made arraignments with co workers to ride to work with. We had a snow storm which delayed the service a day. Understandable. Called the following day for update on repair was told parts to repair upper and lower ball joints didn't come in because of previous snow storm. Said they would have parts following day. Ok. Day 5 I got a call saying they received the wrong parts and that they had to reorder and because it was friday, they would not get them until monday. Finally got the jeep back on Tuesday, eight days after I dropped it off. Well its 10 months later and brought my jeep to a respectable mechanic for brakes he informed me that I needed ball joints on the side I just had replaced! Called jeep and they told me to bring it in and they will take a look they also said parts were under warranty. But not labor. I finally got them to honor labor also. So... I dropped the jeep off this past Tuesday night for service on Wednesday. They called me wednesday afternoon to tell me that they had to order parts and would be ready Thursday. I get a call Thursday afternoon and was told that they needed to order a new part because the one that they were trying to put back in wasn't going in right! This was the same part that they were supposed to replace! So here we are on Friday and I just received a call saying that there were no deliveries because of the 3 inches of snow we got and that they are expecting to get the part on monday!!! They told me they called other dealers for the parts but there was nothing available. So here we go again! Another week without my 4 wheel drive in the winter! I would never have gone back to this dealer if it weren't for the fact that they are fixing there screw up for free. I can tell you I will NEVER BRING MY CAR BACK AGAIN FOR SERVICE NOR WILL I EVER BUY A CAR FROM THEM AND I CAN TELL YOU I WILL NOT RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE EVER!!!!!

I found John and the team to be very helpful. I had a wonderful experience at this dealership. I had purchased my first Town and Country at this dealership almost 4 years ago and the experience was pleasant. I decided to come back when I was ready for a newer model. From the moment I called and spoke with John the process was very smooth. I was able to see the car, test drive and eventually purchase the car rather quickly.Everyone was so helpful and nice. They all did their best to help me buy my car. I would definitely recommend Dutchess Dodge and the salespeople to anyone who is looking to buy a car. John made me feel comfortable and he was so courtious and helpful each and everytime we spoke.

I had purchased a car a couple of years ago here and wish I had known about this website. I had an awful experience the sales guy was both pushy and aloof. He was pushy when it came to purchasing the car but when I had questions I didn't really get a straight answer. I asked about the remote starter and he kind of shrugged me off thankfully my sister has one so I had an idea of how it worked. He clearly did not want to be there and made it known to myself and my fiancee. We went on a Sunday so the guy who did financing said he would do it on Monday. Sunday we had spoken to our friend and asked about the current rates so we knew what our financing should look like because we have excellent credit. When we went in on Monday the man who did financing gave us a 1% higher rate. We asked him about the lower rate and he said that he had already done the financing and it was only 1% anyway, I was appalled that he was so flippant about financing and that it was only 1%. I don't care if it is 1/2 a percent I don't think I should have to pay more for something when we have worked hard to maintain excellent credit. I would avoid this dealership at all costs.

As a newly separated woman, I was not looking forward to car shopping on my own. As a matter of fact, I hated every minute of it until I walked into Dutchess Dodge. Everyone from the receptionist, to the sales manager to the finance manager and especially my salesperson put me at ease from the minute I stepped into the showroom. My salesman was very personable, professional and very knowledgeable. I was very impressed from the get go. I was considering many other cars until I came to Dutchess Dodge and then the decision was easy. I would recommend this dealership and especially Bill to anyone that I can. He really made the whole experience very pleasant for me and I never thought that I would ever have said that!!

Aloof salesman that did not do what he said would do such as a simple phone call. When i spoke to him again, i was instructed that I needed to bring my vehicle in AGAIN for a 2nd appraisal for trade in value. Basically a run around and huge waste of time and when I called to inform the sales manager, Brian, his response was...I'm all alone at the dealership now but I will call you tomorrow...needless to say, tomorrow came and went without a call. So happy Ididn't buy from them. Save yourself the aggravation and stay away from this dealership.

I went in looking for a new 2013 Ram 1500 truck just after visiting another dealership in Beacon. Greeted by Nick P. and worked with him to build a truck with everything I wanted but thought I had to order. Jon Chick worked some magic and located one that was close in equipment and offered to add-on any accessories that were missing. The truck had even more than I wanted. When it came time for the deal, they didn't play the "hold the keys hostage" game like Beacon. They gave me a fair trade-in value and great deal on the 2013.I walked out on the deal in Beacon because I didn't feel they were trustworthy (keys game, made it like they were losing money, felt they would over-devalue my trade when order came in). Totally opposite feeling at Dutchess Dodge and felt they treated me with respect and honesty. Made the deal and thanked Nick, Jon and others for a great car buying experience.Would recommendThanks Guys. Enjoying the truck.....

I was looking for a new car and came into this dealership with my boyfriend. He had looked earlier in the day and found a Dodge Dart 2013 that I wanted. So later in that day I went back to the dealership to test drive it and have them look at my car that I was trading in the salesman I had was fine while my boyfriend was with me but when he had to leave before we got done the saleman treated me totally different and acted like I was wasting his time. He didn't even try working with me or try to come anywhere near what price I was looking for. I ended up going to another dealership in Beacon and got helped I got a the 2013 dodge dart that I was looking at with more options and they where able to work with what I could afford and still came in a lot lower then Dutchess dodge could. PLus I never heard from the salesman I had or anyone else from here I would never recomend this dealership to anyone. It's not worth the time

This was by far the MOST unprofessinal dealership I've ever worked with. The salesman were sloppy, the showroom was dirty, no one was accomodating. The sales guys were more concerned with eating their lunch rather than sell us a car. we work very hard for our money and Dutchess Dodge treated us like second class citizens!Now I know why they have the awful reputation they do! No thanks... I purchased my vehicle somewhere else and I couldn't be happier!

Service techs don't have a clue ..... one quart of oil short on every oil change.Another scam is topping your windshield washer fluid off when it's full, and charging you a ridiculous amount of money for nothing!Just a way of nickel and dime you to death.Will not return to Dutchess Dodge or recommend them to NOBODY!

I am a long time customer of this dealership and my experiences have been very good over all, especially in comparison to some of the other dealers in the area. I recently brought my 2005 Town & Country in for service after hearing a screech-like noise during my drive back from vacation (Some garage off the NJ Turnpike wanted to charge me over a thousaond dollars to "replace" the brakes). I nursed the van back to Dutchess worrying the whole way. They could not have been nicer or more professional. It turns out that the wear bars on my brakes were hitting the rotors and that replacement pads was all I needed. So, instead of paying $1,000+++ I paid a couple of hundred bucks. Sure, there are crooks all over the auto business, but not at Dutchess -- thanks Rick, Scott and Jeff!!!

OMG! What a great experience buying my new Kia Sorento. My wife and I could not be happier with the vehicle, equipment and price that we got at Dutchess. This buying experience was so unlike my prior purchases -- I mean, these people (Vinny, Brian, and John) were actually nice and very pleasant to deal with. My wife actually remarked to me that this was the first time EVER that she was treated with respect by anyone at a car dealer (truth is, she knows more about cars than me). To top it off, they did not have the color we wanted in stock, so they went out and got one -- at no additional cost. We are so glad to have found Dutchess, they are worth the extra effort and time to make the trip up from Westchester.

I recently purchased two New vehicles from Dutchess Dodge and once again, my experience was amazing! The process was so seemless, I couldn't believe i purchased a vehicle! John, Vinny and Sean were absolute gentleman and treated me like a V.I.P. ! Over the course of 20 years, i have purchased 12 vehicles from Dutchess. All of the employees have always gone out of their way to make me feel comfortable and stress free with all my purchases. The Staff is extremely knowledgeable and has always been swift in solving any problems i might have had with any of my vehicles. Many of my family and friends, have purchased vehicles from dutchess and have all had the same incredible experience!!!!!!

3 vehicles in 2 weeks all vehicles had problems and they ignorded and avoided me when i would call them about these problems. the first car i had for less than 24 hours and the head gasket went and they wanted to send me home in it. they are not professional.after all these problems they did not even give me a break on my final purchase. the only reason i kept a vehicle with them is because they would not give me my 2500 i put down back to me. WHAT IS EVERY VEHICLE ON THERE LOT BAD???????? BEWARE

I dealt with Mark Watt who assured me he was trying to change the poor reputation the sales business has. He promised he is about building a strong customer base who will refer others to him in the future. The car I purchased was filthy when I went to pick it up, Mark promised a full detailing. He promised a two week check in call and a one month check in call after my purchase. I have not heard from Mark since I purchased the car & have not received the promised detailing. Prior to my purchase I was greeted by everyone in the showroom with kind smiles and helpful attitudes. I've been back to the dealership numerous times now, each time I was totally ignored as they remember I have already purchased a car.My temporary registration expired on the car because Dutchess Cars never sent the permanent registration to me (after 2 months!) I emailed Mark numerous times about the registration as it got closer and closer to it's expiration date... Mark LIES & promises he had ALREADY SENT IT out to me and it should arrive in a couple days!! I call them two days before it expires and they tell me they have the registration and I can come pick it up. Okay, so I go the next day to pick it up... Turns out the office woman has already left and the MANAGER REFUSES TO GO IN THE BACK TO GET MY REGISTRATION! So my temporary registration expires and I can not drive my car. I manage to get a ride to the dealer the following day during the office woman's hours and she informs me "oh, I just sent it out in the mail today," less than 48 hours after I instructed her to hold it until I picked it up. Then, she lies and tells me I called her a full week ago and she couldn't hold it that long. Now I'm unable to drive my car due to an expired registration and stuck waiting for the permanent registration in the mail... on a holiday weekend. I have had the absolute worst experience of my life at Dutchess Cars. I've dealt with Friendly Honda, Brewster Honda, DCH Acura, Hudson Valley VW, Healy Brothers Hyundai and all are much more committed to customer satisfaction than Dutchess Cars.If you can negotiate a good price on the car through this dealership, purchase here AND NEVER COME BACK. Stay far, far away from this dealership after the date of purchase. It is the last time you will ever be treated as a customer here.

At first everyone there was so friendly i bought a truck once i got it home things started to fall appart. I paid for extended warrenty and was promised 90 days of time to get any problems worked out they fixed nothing! Worst dealership ever! I brought the truck to my mechanic who said everything that went wrong technically is fixable through the warrenty but the dealerships mechanics said other wise. I am now talking to the warrenty company who will fix the truck with another dealership.

Worst experience of my life with an auto dealer. Screwed me on the price and now I am upside down on the car. Cutting my losses and leasing a car to get out of the mess they got me in. Lied to me to keep me from getting my trade back. That's all I wanted. Told me one thing and fudged the numbers to do another thing. Would never recommend this dealer. They sell lemons! And they don't care. Once you sign the papers their friendly attitude is long gone.

Brought my 6 year old Mitsubishi Eclipse here to make repair related to Check Engine light (Code had been read for me, for free, by Valvoline garage). Problem was an oxygen sensor. Dutchess Dodge service wanted to charge me for re-reading the code & only has their ONE Mitsubishi mechanic in the garage every other weekend, so couldn't "read" the code for me that day. (If you can only get service done on weekends, you're stuck to his schedule.) Took car in for scheduled appointment, with them all ready knowing there was an oxygen sensor problem. They had car in service bay for OVER 2 hours. I was told car needed to "cool down" (yes, I am female. Clearly they felt they could get away with that bull.) Then I was told they didn't have oxygen sensors in stock so needed to 'order' the oxygen sensor from Mitsubishi. Said they would call when it comes in. A week later I call them & yes its in, but the mechanic was not going to be in that weekend. I couldn't continue to wait. So I drove 1.5 hours to a great mechanic I used to use in central Connecticut. When my awesome Connecticut mechanic opened the hood the he found that Dutchess Dodge had: 1) stripped the screw on the oxygen sensor, 2) left several things disconnected, 3) had left two bolts missing. In short, I would NEVER again take my baby to Dutchess Dodge for servicing and would NOT recommend them to anyone.

Bought a 2 year old Jeep Liberty from Dutchess Dodge. I was charged for things I never received. The price of the car was supposed to include the extra owed on my trade in and they added the trade in difference to the full price that they charged me for the car. They charged me $25 for fuel and sent me away on an empty tank. When I called to tell them, they asked me to fax the receipt and I would receive a refund. Its been 4 weeks and I still haven't received my refund. I was told the car had XM radio for 6 months and the vehicle has no XM radio. Realized 2 weeks after purchasing the vehicle that the transmission slipped and the undercarraige of the vehicle was rusted out. They offered me another vehicle on the lot. They gave a price of $18000 for a vehicle that was listed on their internet website for $13000. I asked for my trade it back and for a full refund, deciding that I didn't want to deal with a dealership that did not respect their customers. They refused. Decided to take my loses and trade the vehicle for a Honda. Found out that my title paperwork was still at the dealership 3 weeks later. When asked about it, Kim was extremely rude, and argumentative and extremely uncooperative. After contacting the owner about her unprofessional behavior, I was assured that my paperwork would be sent out immediately. Still haven't received the refund for my fuel. Would NEVER purchase another vehicle from this dealer. Would rather cut my losses and get a new car from any other dealership.

I bought my new Chrysler Town & Country at Dutchess and have had them do the bulk of the servicing on this vehicle. They have been consistently kind, courteous and competent---to the point that I have made several referrals to them---most of whom have bought from them. So, all in all I am most pleased with Dutchess, and would certainly buy from them again.

okay so i went to trade in a 03 audi a4 which i financed 2 and a half years ago i finaced 21000 of the 28000 the car was worth. when i went to dutchess dodge to look at a 15000 dodge charger 06. i was told my trade in the 3000 plus i was going to put down on the new vechicle plus financing would cost me more then 450/month. the payment on MY AUDI for 24000 was 415/month at 6%. I thought that this was absolutly ridic. by the way its probably because im a 23yr old kid i guess dodge and chysler really dont need to be in business anymore so please stop taking my tax dollars if your going to treat me like SHIT!P.S. i strongly suggest that no one of any age deal with these people because the ron person who might be the owner made a comment to me and my girlfriend about "im a billionairne and i wouldnt make a deal thats not going to benefit me so keep looking" well your still a douche bag!! billionaire my ass not with service like that.

After being a customer for 10+ years due to a family connection, they wrote up a 15K lease and slipped me a 12K lease to make it look like a great deal. My bad, I didn't catch it and I ran $1,000 over the mileage. The salesman offered to "make it right" by paying the difference but after 2 months "the check is in the mail."Showed me they care more about short term profit than any repeat customer, and I would NEVER go back to them.I could get the same price anywhere else in the valley, and their service desk is nasty.

Took delivery of a 2004 Chrysler Pacifica on 2/27/04. On approx 3/25/04 we tried the A/C because of a planned trip to S.C. on 4/3/04. The A/C blew ambient air. Took it to our salesman and he agreed there was a problem and made an appt w/service. Service called and said "WE HAD AN ACCIDENT WITH IT " , the condenser was punctured and they would not warantee the service. <br> WHAT? 1700 miles on a $36,000.00 car 4 weeks old and Dutchess Dodge wont stand behind thier product. This experience of poor customer service confirms all the negative we later heard of this dealer...unfortunately after the purchase. This experience also took away ALL the joy and excitement of buying this new car...it's just another car with a problem!<br> I will give credit where credit is due, the "purchase experience" was a pleasure! Too Bad the service sucks!
