Honestly, car shopping is the worst experience in the world. We went through 4 or 5 different dealerships until we finally found Ashlee. If anyone is currently looking for the right person to trust, not only do I recommend Eastgate, but personally recommend you ask specifically for Ashlee (hope I'm spelling it right)! We had an issue with our vehicle the day after we bought it (used car) and she personally drove us a loaner and took our vehicle to get fixed. I promise you she will go above and beyond to take care of you and all of your needs.

Drove from Louisville to Indianapolis for a van that had “no dents or scratches.” 2 big door dings, scratch on the side, and ground effects that had a ton of damage. Some with touch up paint. I just wish sales people took the time to represent their cars honestly, sent detailed pics, whatever. No one wants to be up front and honest

My experience was not good. My salesperson, Reylon either had a bad day or just isn't a people person-neither reason excuses unprofessional behavior: Specifically, acting bored with the process, as if my presence (cash in hand which keeps him and the dealership employed and economically viable) was to be endured, seriously..and you'd think a cash sale might stand out in a salespersons memory, yet in the 3 times I've been in since the sale, he looks right through me and doesn't acknowledge me. Is this what customer service, sales-wise has come to?The young lady in Service, Liz, is the polar opposite. Genuinely very friendly and communicative, but the service crew did not do half the work requested and still charged for the service (rotation of tires). Stay away!!

I have called this dealership 6 times. I have only gotten a recorded voice message. That is unbelievable. I have shopped for cars in the past and I have never ever had a problem getting someone on the phone to talk to me. This is the poorest service I've ever experienced.

Gave the salesman a ball-park monthly estimate for lease and we were told he could hit it, easily. After 3 long, torturous hours of them "running the numbers," he came back with a number 3x what we had originally discussed. They are full of it. Bought a 2012 Sahara Jeep Wrangler 4dr Hard top in January 2015, for $30,000. Eddie, our saleman told us it also has a Soft Top included. This for me sealed the deal. So we put $9,000 in cash down. A few days later we looked for the Soft Top but there was none. I called Eastgate Chrysler. I spoke with Eddie who tells me "Aw yeah that guy (previous owner) said he sold it on Ebay" over the next few weeks I spoke with manager Tye about the situation on the phone and in person. He turned out to be a smooth talk their way out of it type of guy. He acts concerned and sincere but never does anything about it. I feel as soon as I handed over the cash they couldn't get us out the door fast enough. They DO NOT CARE about you after the deal is done. Worst purchase I've ever made in my 20 years of car buying. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE. They lie but then call you confused or find a way to blame you for their lies. DO NOT BUY FROM EASTGATE CHRYSLER JEEP!!! DO NOT BUY FROM EASTGATE CHRYSLER JEEP!!! TAKE YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY ELSEWHERE

I recently traveled to this dealership from NY to pick up a used car. Great place to buy from. Sales people answered all my questions, not pushy in their approach. Honest people to deal with. Avoid this place like the plague. Horrible service department. Takes forever to get work done. Doesn't do the work right. Spent thousands to have them leave me with a car in worse shape than when I took it in. Not only did they not properly do the repairs and used bad parts but they actually managed to damage my engine and electronics in the process. When you go back to have it fixed they ignore you, service manager won't call you back, horrible people. They're nothing but thieves. There's a reason people call dealerships stealerships. I had to find out first hand. Don't be a victim like me. Pick a local repair shop run by mechanics, not these guys. This was the most costly mistake I've made in a long time.I had to spend yet more money getting it fixed properly by a small local shop who did it right. Cost me ~$1,500 to fix what they didn't do right and to repair what they broke. Including an airbag sensor which the repair shop told me could have caused it to NOT deploy if I was in an accident. It's nice to know the dealership values my life so little.

Just purchased two cars, six weeks apart at Eastgate. The first new car was a new 2012 Jeep Liberty w/optional lifetime warranty. Greg was easy to deal with and fair. We quickly came to terms we agreed on. I did the negotiating and my wife came in to sign. Very easy. Greg was very professional and personable. He will exceed your expectations, so I'd recommend you ask for him, if you are tired of run-arounds and people wearing multi-colored shoes and ties with strange pick-up lines on the lot that make you uncomfortable. Greg is an example of a true sales professional and sets the standard for others. Hopefully the one-liners learn from Greg.The second was not planned but was a decision based on savings from gas mileage improvement equalling the car payment (meaning spend it on gas, or the new car--almost no effect on our budget). My wife and I, combined, drove just under 100,000 miles last year. We decided to replace her 2002 with ... the vehicle we had traded six weeks prior. The justification was that it was in my wife's budget for a newer replacement packed with safety features for our young family, and we already knew the history on the car. Again, we asked for Greg. He had the cards in his deck, and despite that fact, gave us a very fair deal once again, and we were out the door in an hour or so.We were referred to Greg Robertson by someone we trust in the service department at Eastgate, Joe Worden. Had it not been for Joe's recommendation we probably wouldn't have considered a new car at this time. But their selection is pretty good, and Greg really took care of us. If you are tired of trying to find someone to deal with we whole-heartedly suggest Greg Robertson at Eastgate Jeep in Indianapolis, IN.

Eastgate sent out this promotion to get customers in. Guess it was ran by some third party company. The sales guy was great but the promotion was a scam. Claiming we won 3 prizes (talking to other customers there - EVERYONE "won" the same prizes). It was FAKE scratch off lotto tickets, which of the 10 customers I asked, no body won. And a free vacation! Reading up on the vacation company, there was NOT a single positive review. There were easily over 300 reviews and a D rating from the BBB. It was a complete scam to get customers in. Totally bogus. Then during a look around the lot at cars, there was a very poor selection of quality used cars, and a limited selection of good new cars. I would never recommend Eastgate, even if they were the only Dodge/Chrysler dealer in the state. Had a very bad experience. Needless to say, I drove down the street and bought a Chevy Equinox that I wanted. Avoid like the plague.

I had a small problem with my new 2012 Wrangler Sahara and Norman in service was GREAT!!. I have already written one very positive review about salesman Charlie and my great sales experience. Norman quickly arranged for me to have a loaner car...very nice Chrysler 200. John Wilson and Don Stockhoff also were involved and very kind. They fixed the problem and returned the Jeep washed and sparkling clean. I will be taking my jeep to these guys for my oil changes, tire rotations, and routine engine maintenance. I trust them. I was in a lease on a 2008 Saturn tha was expiring in May 2012. I went and spoke with Michael who showed me 4 different models of autos. Eastgate took my lease and bought the Saturn, which left me without having to pay extra fees for being over on miles or any damages. Michael was very friendly and answered all my questions/concerns.

For the first in many years i walked into a dealer.... Eastgate dealer and met a honest and up front salesperson who i felt i could trust with buying a car and a jeep from in one months time.. I was given good service and honest answers to all of my questions about both vehicles that I bought.. I would go back to Corey at any time if i were looking for another car and i have passed his name and card to several people who are looking for cars. I think i received a very good deal on both vehicles that I bought from Eastgate dealer and from Corey...I have told all of my friends and i know my daughter has to since she got the jeep that i bought for her about what good service we received at Eastgate.. My wife and I were impressed with Charlie the first time we stopped by the dealership to test drive a Jeep Compass. Charlie was courteous, friendly, outgoing and professional during our initial visit to the dealership. When I decided I wanted to test drive a Jeep Patriot, Charlie took time out of his busy schedule to go along for the ride. I spoke with Greg (Internet Sales) about a specific Jeep Patriot and he invited me to come in to view it. When I walked in, I was greet by the dealership manager, Craig, straight away. I then spoke to Greg and found that the Jeep I was looking for had just been sold. Fortunately, Greg turned me over to Corey and for the next couple days, Corey and Greg searched for the exact Jeep I wanted. Corey kept me informed of their progress everyday. They were able to find the Jeep I wanted and I purchased it today!!! Corey and Greg treated as if I were Family; what more could a person want?

I have limited time to do car shopping, so I decided to contact a few dealers to find a new van. Corey was who responded from Eastgate, and after a few phone calls, he was able to line up a new van for me, with the options I wanted. He communicated with me in a timely manner, and never once jacked me around.When I came in to pick it up, most everything was already taken care of, so all I had was a few formalities after that. Within a couple hours, I was driving away in my new van, and off to work!I can see myself buying another Dodge from Eastgate in the future.

We looked around at a few other Jeep dealers and were not happy with their customer service. We had bought a new Pacifica in 2006 from Steve and liked the way we were treated so we decided to come back. We found that the offer they gave for our trade in was better than anywhere in the city and we never felt pressured, we told Steve what our goals were and he jumped through endless hoops to meet them. We could not find exactly what we wanted and other dealers just wanted us to buy something already on their lot. Steve searched endlessly and within hours of talking to him had located exactly what we wanted. We will definently be back when we purchase again!

We had the most wonderful experience with this dealership!!! We will be recommending them to all of our friends and family..We shopped several other dealerships before arriving at Eastgate and either couldn't find anyone willing to quit what they were doing to offer us assistance or work with us on what we were looking for, there were actually a couple of dealerships that we had walked into and instead of coming to ask if there was anything they could help us with they stood around going about their own business, so we just walked out....When we showed up at Eastgate Chrysler we automatically felt welcomed; like we were part of the family. Corey was such a wonderful sales person and did not pressure us in anyway to get something we did not want, he gave us several options, very respectful and professional. Craig the manager came out and talked to us on a few different occasions throughout the evening and you could completely tell that he was in it for our satisfaction as well. Overall the whole expereience and the whole crew at Eastgate Chrsyler was unbelievable and we honestly will never go to another dealership besides them. LOVE MY 2012 JEEP! GREAT JOB EASTGATE

I went to the dealer and was working with Mike Fleener. Mike is a great guy and a very knowledgable sales guy. After owning a 2003 PT Cruiser I would definitely have made the statement that I would NEVER own a Chrysler product again. I just bought a 2012 200 S and I have owned the following recently; 2006 GTO, 2009 Hyundai Sonata and a 2007 Ford F-150. I strongly believe that the 200 is the nicest car I have owned. Lap of Luxury Interior, 283 HP and a REAL 30 MPG on the highway! I did shop this dealer against a Dodge Dealer in Greenwood and a Ford Dealer on the East Side. They came with their initial offer, and it was $1000 better than the Ford Dealer would do on a comprable deal (ACV on my trade) and $2000-$2500 better than the other Dodge dealer would do (I could neever get a straight answer on my vehicle ACV from them, just an end number)! Their initial offer was their best offer, ie no BS-ing around! I believe that I got the best deal I could have gotten and got into the car for under sticker after being $4000 + negative equity on my trade. I got financed in the 6's (APR) and don't have to make my first payment for 90 days. All promises were kept and I'll be back for my next purchase.

Im always skeptical when dealing with car dealerships. Even more so when I decided to look at a vehicle located in Indiana when Im in Virginia. Eastgate Chrysler went far above and beyond my car buying expectations. They provided in depth information on the vehicle, had my paperwork ready, and even picked me up at the airport. The salesmen (Larry Fye and Joe Hayes) where honest and went out of their way to provide a quality experience. I had an 11 hour drive from the dealership to my home. Halfway into my trip, and in the middle of the night, the salesman called to check on me. This is a quality dealership with a quality sales staff. I would highly recommend them to anyone considering buying a new or used vehicle.

This was our first purchase of a new vehicle in several years. I had a shopping list of what I wanted on my next ride. We actually were hunting for a different manufacturer vehicle (used) when we visited Eastgate. I did a little reconsidering, checked their website, and realized that a NEW Jeep Grand Cherokee gave me all that I wanted in a new 4x4 SUV at a much better price than the other makes could offer. Soooo, we drove to Eastgate, saw the 2 vehicles outside for our review. We were approached by several courteous salesmen in the car lot! There were plenty of Jeep and Dodge models on the lot to check out, in addition to the one we had in mind. The salesman we were working with, Larry Fye, was informed, courteous and patient with us. I picked up the Jeep the next AM and have been thrilled ever since. I had never owned a Jeep before, but always admired the brand. This new design is awesome and full of functional features. I have a Hemi, 4x4 (several terrain options, automatic), automatic windshield wipers, plenty of passenger space (5 total), cargo space, excellent ride, great tires (full size spare), leather interior (FOUR heated seats), sunroof, navigation, satellite radio (and TV!!! Unfortunately, only 3 kiddie channels...but that will change), well lit storage areas, and surprisingly tight turning radius.I'm writing this review after having driven the Jeep around 3000 miles, so just about all the features have been tested! If you told me a month ago I'd have a new Jeep Grand Cherokee, I would not have believed you. It was the best Christmas Gift! I also worked in the automotive industry for years and have been to many, many dealers. Visiting a dealer many times is overwhelming and can be a uncomfortable part of making a commitment to a vehicle. The experience with Eastgate was outstanding. If you're looking for a product they sell, shop their website and go there!

I am the Optometrist at The Walmart Vision Center at 4545 Lafayette Road and just picked up my Flame Red 2012 Jeep Wrangler Sahara. Salesman Charlie Doherty was kind, helpful, charming Irish accent, created a great buying experience, advocated for me concerning price and delivery. Manager Larry Youree also was patient, helped get me the best price and located the exact jeep I wanted. Brandon Brown was professional and friendly in setting up the financing(didnt pressure me for an extended warranty...lol). We have been going to this dealership since we purchased our first minivan and that was three minivans, two Jeeps, and one used car ago. I have found the Service Department to be very friendly and helpful. I have never felt that the Service Department was just trying to get me to do something on our vehicles just to get our money,but to make sure that our vehicles were in good running order and safe. As I have told them I can purchase a new car from several different dealerships, but I go to them for the Service Department and for our salesman who seems like family.

Eastgate Chrysler Jeep is by far the best dealership I have ever been too. I actually found this dealership online while looking for a 2012 Dodge Journey. One of the very first things that caught my attention was actual photos of the make and model I was looking for. Many of the other dealerships just had the manufactured pictures. The website very easy to navigate when compared to other dealers. Upon arrival to the dealership my husband and I had the pleasure of meeting John Ach. We were instantly impressed by his professionalism and readiness to help us find the perfect vehicle. John was very helpful and made us feel at home by offering refreshments while we were awaiting our purchase finalization. John also took us on a tour to show us the service department. I was super excited when John told us about free lifetime oil changes! Another person I would like to recognize is Monte Sommers. Monte helped us get a lower interest rate than we had originally anticipated. Again,I was super excited! The manager even came up to congratulate us on our purchase. I was literally shocked, this has never happened to us before. The manager was genuinely interested in our comments and feedback. The dealership even had a carry-in lunch from McAllister's for their employees that day. The luncheon was to thank them for their hard-work. By that, anyone should be able to acknowledge this dealership really cares. I, as well as other consumers, want to buy a vehicle from a compassionate and caring company. My husband and I have never been treated this great by any other dealership. We were treated like family at Eastgate Chrysler Jeep. Charlie was great to work with. The day he wasn't available, I worked with Mike, and he was a pleasure to talk to. Finances were handled by Brandon, and he was laid back and very low pressure. Rodney was great! Very friendly & knowledgable & most of all helpful. I live about 50 miles away from where I work, so when the tire pressuer light came on in my fairly new 2010 Sebring, I really didnt want to drive 50 miles at 70 miles an hour wondering if there was really something wrong with the tires, or if was just the cold weather. I bought the car a Goodwin Brothers in New Castle, but EastGate is the closest dealership to where I work, so I stopped in and explained my situation and Rodney had me pull right in the edxpress lane area and started checking the air in my tires. All they needed was some air. We had a nice discussion about how the tire pressure sensors work, and the best way to make sure the pressure was right. My older car a 2001 Dodge Neon, did not have tire pressure sensors, so I just checked the air with a pressure gague( the old fashion way) Rodney suggested that this pratice would work just as well on the new car. We also discussed the change oil light, which has not came on in 6k miles, makes me a little nervous, since i was taught to change the oil every 3 k mils ( old fashion I know). Rodney suggested that if I felt better having the oil changed at 3k thats what I should do. the 3k oil change seemed to work on the Neon it ONLY has 260K miles on it, when Rodney heard this, he said it seemed like i knew what I was doing when it came to my car maintance. For the second time in 4 years, My experience with Eastgate Chrysler has been great, The guys at the dealership treated me wonderful! I needed to trade my Jeep that I bought back in 2007 in for something less costly to cut some expenses. I wasn't real sure about the whole process but, Meeting with Larry Fye, and having him and the other guys mentioned above made the whole transition process go over great. Went up there to look at the 2008 Jeep Patriot that my husband and I saw on their website and possibly purchase. Met with salesperson Larry Fye and he went with us on a test drive of the vehicle. Loved the car and made an appointment to finalize the sale and pick up the car. But the bank we were getting the financing through couldn't go higher than what we applied for so Larry went WAY ABOVE AND BEYOND what most sales people would do to make a customer happy and get them the car they wanted. He talked to everyone he could and managed to work it out so we could purchase the Patriot. He was very professional and terrific and I would recommend him and the dealership to anyone. There was a little glitch with the tire, but Larry, and the GM got the car into the service department and they took care of the car and got it fixed right away and made sure there wasn't any other issues with the car. This dealership and these people are the best that I have interacted with when it came to me looking at cars. I will tell everyone I know to look there first before going anywhere else for a vehicle. The sales staff, service department as well as finance/business staff are friendly and truly care about customer service and making the customer happy. I was informed that Larry was a new sales staff member but he still did an excellent job. The only thing I would recommend for him is to stay the way he is and to keep up on his knowledge of the cars. And he will go far in this business!!!THANK YOU EASTGATE AND LARRY!!!!

I took my 2002 Grand Cherokee Overland in for service (I go nowhere else) and decided to look at a new Jeep. Brandon worked with me and we arrived at a deal and two days later, I am the proud owner of a 2011 Grand Cherokee Overland and I LOVE IT!Although it is higher, wider, and longer than my 2002, the improvements in this model year is astounding. There are more "bells and whistles" on it, which has become a new learning curve, but I am sure that when I take time to read about all of the features, I will become comfortable once again.This is my 3rd Grand Cherokee all of which have been purchased from Eastgate Chrysler, and I highly recommend this dealership to friends and acquaintances alike. They have taken care of my Jeeps since purchasing my first one in 1997. I always feel like I am one of the Eastgate family.The service department is beyond compare and I never feel "snookered" when having work performed. They are honest and treat me as if I was their mother. Brandon was such a joy to work with during the purchase of this new Jeep. He is knowledgeable about all of the features and walked me through the basics. I would easily recommend him to anyone wanting a new vehicle. It was a fun experience.

No hassle. We agreed on a deal through email, including trade-in value (contingent upon test drives). Even though I made the deal with Joe - it was his day off, Greg completed the transaction for me. There was the truck, as agreed, no attempts to change the price on me. No pressure about my trade-in, and only a suggestion for an extended warranty. They even got me a better finance rate than I came in with. It would have been perfect if I could have haggled away the doc fee!

I recently had to have my cylinder wires replaced. The problem occurred late on a Friday and I was able to drive to Eastgate. It initially looked like I would be without a car for 3 - 4 days. However, the service department was not only able to track down the parts but did the extra work on a Saturday and my car was ready that afternoon.

Terrible business ethics.Sold us a lemon and had a nasty attitude when we tried to talk to them about it. Within 4 days of purchase we had to put over $500 into the vehicle. Yes, we bought it *as is* but I still think that the dealership has an obligation to NOT sell vehicles that need extensive work. Before it was all said and done, we had put $1500 into it ~~ it was brakes, calipers, rotors, inertia switch and a whell hub ~~ and then the transmission went out. This is all within TWO MONTHS of purchase. We cut our losses and traded it in. I sent them an email expressing our dissatisfaction and got a return call from the GM. He offered discounted oil changes. Will never EVER deal with Eastgate Chrysler again. And I won't recommend them to anyone either.

I drove over 250 miles to look at a car at this dealership and it was magically sold. Mind you this was after the salesman had called me back to tell me the car was available. No apology, no nothing. Yet 2 days later the car is still advertised on their web site as for sale. This tactic smells a lot like a bait and switch scheme to me as the price was about $2,000 less than the going price and the so called deal was merely a work-up sheet on a saleman's desk, not a signed deal. I have filed a complaint with the Attorney General of the State of Indiana about the tactics of this dealer. I asked you to call me Ms. Stegmann, you didn't.

These Guys worked pretty hard to get me a deal!! Took care of me with a car to drive until they got my Jeep in and Chad knew the Jeep in and out! I was very impressed that they did not even attempt to push me into a Jeep they had on their lot and were very dilligent to find me the Jeep I wanted - Great customer understanding!!I live 3 hours away from this dealer and they took care of me way better than the local dealers! Larry Brackin is a total JERK! He said there were things wrong with my car that were not really broken. He sold me a tune up because I had 30,000 miles. After reading the service manual I learned that a tune up was not recomended until 100,000. I highly suggest not doing business with this individual.

Price of cherokee kept switching, found that it was listed on line for less than it was marked, but were not willing to offer at that price until issue was pushed. Value offered for my trade in was a joke and kept changing and going lower as things went along ( as price of cherokee went down). Salesman bad mouthed another local chrysler dealership were I had purchased before. left dealership and purchased at another dealership were I was treated much better. I ended up with a nicer Cherokee with more option, a better price and was given a fair value for my trade. (I returned to the dealer where I had purchased before) Since then I have recomended that everyone I know avoid Eastgate Chrysler. I now of four people (friends, family, & co-workers) who have purchased at other dealers because of the experience I had.<br><br><br>
