I came to ELCO to look at a Mazda6 that recently became available. Lamarr arranged the test drive, appraisal of my vehicle, and preliminary finance paperwork within a single lunch hour. The finance paperwork was completed after my work day, and the window tinting was installed within 48 hours. Lamarr made the process enjoyable, very smooth, and easy to manage and comprehend. Having bought many cars over the last 20 years, it was a pleasure to work so quickly and so professionally.

Probably best experience I've ever had purchasing a vehicle. Rick, his team, and his boss (forgot his name) were absolutely tremendous. From my initial car search to when I drove off the lot they provided outstanding service. I would recommend to anyone looking for a car, stop by ELCO Chevy just to see what they have. There is the stereotypical car salesman and then there is Rick Weinstein. My wife and I were in the market to buy a Tahoe. We also had a 6 month old with us. This was the smoothest, fastest and easiest purhase we have ever had. He didn't waste any time with gimmicks. He was relatable, trustworthy and understood the value of time. I will definitely purchase my next car from Rick with no hesitation.

We just purchased a 2011 Chevrolet Traverse from ELCO. I did some research online and they had the best prices. Rick was our salesman and we instantly like him. Very friendly, funny, sincere, and nothing like the normal salesman. We felt the exact same way about Brad who helped us in finance. They were both knowledgable and very helpful. I'm disabled and Mr. Powell went above and beyond to make me feel welcome and to assist me.My wife and I had found the car by internet, called ahead, and Lamarr had the car running and right by their office upon arrival. I wasn't up for a test ride that day, so Lamarr offered to deliver it to our home the next day for our evaluation and took our trade-in back to Elco to determine its value. To add to this convenience, Lamarr and Elco were able to do price negotiation almost exclusively by phone which I deeply appreciated. Upon returning the next day, arrangements were made in advance that allowed me to stay in the car while my wife worked on the paperwork with Lamarr and Bill VanOyen to quickly complete it for my final signature in the car!I'm on oxygen, so time and effort reduction are always appreciated. Lamarr basically came up with all of the solutions, or made what I suggested happen flawlessly. He has a great smile and easy manner which invites your well deserved trust. Just an outstanding young man. Everyone we dealt with at Elco was great, but Lamarr and Bill stood out.

Lamar was an excellent salesman he listen, he was not pushy, he adapted to the type of customer he was dealing with and he was funny, and above all he was patient never in a hurry he worked at our paste. Nikki Pagoria is the WORST sales person I have ever encountered - I knew specifically what 2 vehicles I wanted to look at using sales ads available online. A new Tahoe for under $42K and the Impalas. After being shown all the Tahoes that start at $57K+ the question remained, "Where is the Tahoe that is online for sale?" At first it was "some where on the lot", then "it's probably getting detailed". Then finally it turned to "Oh, it just sold." After hours of our time being wasted and stating there was some bait and switch tactics occurring, then suddenly there was a Tahoe for $42K. The good times did not stop there...after, supposedly, speaking to the "Finance Guy" we were told we are being given a deal and Nikki comes back with a figure HIGHER than the price online. After some hysterical laughter on the part of myself and my husband, Nikki lets my husband know that he is all over the place with pricing, despite the fact he WROTE DOWN ON A PIECE OF PAPER the listed price online and said, "That's what we want, the price online." Then Nikki asked, "Where did you get that price?" My husband to pull up, on his tablet, the ELCO website and show her the Tahoes on sale. In addition, Nikki also added that something is wrong with our math if we can't see the great deal before us. This "great deal" was thousands higher than the online price, which was the price my husband wrote down. What was even more hilarious and an insult to our intelligence is that the discounts that were offered online, Nikki actually sat there and ADDED them to the price. I really thought I was on candid camera and if I remained calm that I would win a new car...that did not happen.After laying out all the things during our visit that completely pissed us off during our visit to ELCO, Nikki seemed agitated at us and expected some sympathy by stating she has only been a sales person for 2 months. Really? What's even more frustrating is that I specifically wanted a woman sales person to deal with being a female. Nikki seems likable, but needs more training and advice on customer service:1. Don't try to turn me against my husband. We're a team. We had a test drive without my husband and I got hear about "This is your decision" and "Your husband is just all over the place." I just opted to ignore Nikki versus cursing her out for those comments. I did not fell the need to justify my stance on feminism or prove I'm not a victim of domestic abuse...I just need you to show me what I want - especially if I'm specific on what I want. And my husband got to the dealership before me and even told her how I am...show me what I want!2. If we ask about estimated finance rates, please DO NOT make up stuff because you don't know the answer. We were told, "Well until you sign on your car or truck you won't know the rate." No...you have a little piece of paper somewhere in your desk that provides the estimated finance rate if your credit is good. We know that it's estimated. 3. I wanted to look at the Tahoe on sale and Impalas...please do not question me on my car choices. I was asked, "So, can you explain to me the difference in the vehicles you want? I mean, there's a big difference between a Tahoe and an Impala." First...I'm at YOUR dealership getting ready to spend MY money on a vehicle. I currently drive a Tahoe and I just like Impalas. Don't question what I want to look at.I have more goodies...but my fingers are starting to hurt, but you get the point.When it became evident to us that we were working with an inexperienced person who had an uncanny ability to irritate the both of us greatly (my husband has the patience of Job in the Bible, me - zero patience) my husband requested to speak with the Manager or somebody...anybody! Nikki swears she asked the Manager to come and talk to us, but that person never came to our rescue. So after wasting much time and feeling no one cared about us, let alone Nikki...we walked. Of course the next day my husband received calls and texts about a miracle that happened: a Tahoe was found at the price listed online with the discounts applied!!! No thanks. I don't care if that Tahoe was for $1999.99 I would not give ELCO, or their representative, one dime of my money. I did get my Impala...but not there! ,

I just financed a 2006 Dodge Ram 1500 SLT. It runs great at 146,000 miles. The financing was fast and efficient. I also got a carfax report on the truck. I looked at some of the weak spots(defects) in the truck. Like ball joints, control arms, shocks/structs, and bushings. Which all look brand new and when driven drives great.

My husband has always wanted a CTS Cadillac and we found the "right car" on the used lot at ELCO. It took a bit of negotiating, but the deal was landed. The primary salesperson we worked with was Eric DeBruin and he is incredible. Great customer service skills and extremely helpful. Once all the paperwork was signed, he went through everything in the car to make sure we understand all the gadgets and how they worked. My husband mentioned he was hoping to sync his iPhone via bluetooth and Eric quickly walked him through it and make sure everything was set up. That was so helpful and that little step was very much appreciated. If you are looking for a used car, then reach out to Eric. He will make you feel comfortable from the moment you walk in the door.

HORRIBLE Service. I even tried to resolve this issue with the General Manager- she was rude and snippy, no help at all. Multiple issues on our ATS, has to go back after every repair for the same issue to be fixed, or they can't even find it and we have to point it out. Interior is always dirty with grease every time we get it back, etc, etc. Engine failure on this car at 18K miles...piston failure. Ask dealer to call and discuss engine replacement VS just piston replacement...call back and say it's done and only replaced pistons. 2 days later, car makes a pop, loses all engine power, making loud noises and smelling like oil. Service dept doesn't want to hear the complaints and seems annoyed to help. Good luck winning back European car customers Cadillac...dealer service like this is why we'll be going back to a European brand. I work in the automotive field and this is piss poor service. Wouldn't recommend Elco, GM, or Cadillac to ANYONE!

I found this dealership online and they couldn't have made my purchase any easier! I was made comfortable from the moment they picked me up from the airport-Wayne, my driver was the kindest gentleman! They're professionalism and experience is evident and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this dealership to friends and family. Lamarr walked me through the entire process-he was very prepared for my arrival so my experience was fast but he was also patient answering every question and taking care of me throughout the entire process. I bugged 2015 Chevy Tahoe certified warranty bumper to bumper 12,000 miles unfortunately after 900 miles the track star shaking on the highway it was from the brakes dealer refused to cover it by the warranty and they make me pay for it and still not fixed. plus the back door start water leak in the first week they fixed it but they broke the selling rod they promised me to change it 4 times but never happened

My previous car buying experiences were very stressful. This one was not, from the first phone contact with Lamarr he put me at ease and addressed my concerns about the used vehicle I was considering. He took the time to sort out a description discrepancy from the website and made certain the vehicle was road ready for the test drive. When something unexpected came up, he called me quickly to reschedule, showing he valued my time. That type of consideration was not something I expected from a "USED CAR" salesman, it was greatly appreciated. After a nightmarish experience at another nearby dealership, ELCO proved to be an oasis of perfection. I could not have scripted a better experience! Lamarr is the MVP of his trade; I will never look for a new/used vehicle without him again. Period. He was unbelievably gracious for a customer buying a $5500 used vehicle- I might as well have been buying a full priced new Escalade for the treatment I received! When I called and inquired about the adorable Hyunadai I happily purchased a few days ago, Lamarr made the process a dream come true. From his genuinely optimistic and cheerful nature (side of humor included) to his refreshingly transparent opinions, his exceptional customer service is the reason I'm writing my first ever review (of anything, ever). He walked me through the car buying process, from test drive to financing, with patience for my million questions and an easy laugh. I felt at home with the entire staff of ELCO: no stereotypically sleazy used car salesmen, just employees rightfully proud of their business and refreshingly happy to make customers thrilled. Long story short, 1) go to ELCO because you will not be treated better at any alternative- trust me, and 2) ask for Lamarr, even if he makes you look at photos of him playing in his old man basketball leagues. You won't regret it :)

It's very rare (for me anyway) to have nice things to say about any car salesmen but Eric DeBruin at elco used car sales was top notch. I happy paid full price for the vehicle because it was everything we wanted. It had some minor issues and Eric promised to take care of them. Put it writing and made it very easy for us. He/they were very easy to work with. Not once did we feel like we were being taken. In a time where every business states they care about their customers, they showed they really do. Bill and Brad were direct and to the point. Exactly what I prefer. Everyone we dealt with offered a pleasant experience. With this sale, they have earned our future business as well.

The second vehicle I purchased from Rick at Elco was used and "as is". Of course, this is always a gamble. My dice came up unfavorable and the ac went out about 500 miles later. Rick and his team did far more than expected to make me happy. Any other dealer probably would have reiterated the definition of "as is" to me. I appreciate their level of service and will not be afraid to purchase a third vehicle in the future.

I was in and out of the dealership in 3 hours. I really dont know if I got a good deal or not, but it felt like I did. I got what I wanted for my trade in, the entire process felt never felt forced. They were all friendly, Eric was open and honest, and we were able to make a deal without feeling dirty afterwards. I'd return again.

Robert and Chris responded quickly to my online inquiry, setup a test drive and the vehicle was waiting for me. Robert was very thorough on the process and support available to me during the process. I liked the vehicle so much, I kept it overnight to return the next day and finalize the purchase. Bill was a pleasure to work with on the financing to finish the transaction within a reasonable amount of time. Everything went as smooth as one would hope for, and the staff couldn't be nicer! I recently went to Elco Chevrolet to look for a new vehicle after an accident. I met a very nice salesman Murray Newton who helped me find my new car. I never felt pressured to buy a vehicle like I have at other car dealers. The first time I came in I just test drove a vehicle and left without one. I was not getting phone calls and emails everyday like I have at other dealerships to come back and buy a vehicle, which I greatly appreciate. Walking around the dealership taking pictures of a car I was interested in, a very rude associate came out and said all the photos are on the dealership website, and I didn't need to be taking photos. My father meet me up at the dealership and we were greeted by another associate and he left us after being called inside, and after waiting 15 minutes we left. We decided to go up to the dealership the following day and talk to the manager, when we were greeted by Lamarr Powell. Lamarr was the saving grace that turned a negative experience into a positive experience. I ended up buying the car I was looking at, and that was because of he outstanding service we recived from Lamarr. I would ask for Lamarr Powell before talking to anyone, He went out of his way to make sure we were treated properly. He was informed and amazing to deal with. If you plan on getting a car from Elco, ask for Lamarr Powell. I guarantee you will be treated with the best service.

I had located the car I wanted on the internet and drove over from JB after physical therapy to look at it. After some initial delay waiting in the office I was put in contact with Chris. The delay was worth it. He is very outgoing, polite, and attuned to the customers wants and needs...not to what here is "todays best deal" etc. The car I asked to see was brought up within a short few minutes (2014 Lincoln MKX) and we were off on a test drive. While gone they inspected my 2007 Lincoln MKX so that when we returned everyone had done there due diligence. I knew going in that if I were to trade up I would be using my credit union so it now was just the matter of numbers. I had read in the reviews that Elco posted a price and that was "the " price so the only point would be trade value. Well no haggling there as I was offered within $50.00 of what I wanted. Short and sweet, deal was done; I would deal there again in a heartbeat with Chris. I have never had a more enjoyable car buying experience....ever. I have a Silver Star License Plate and Chris thanked me for my military service which I appreciated. This was after the deal was done so I appreciated even more as it wasn't done to curry favor as some would do. Go see Chris!

I am completely satisfied with my buying experience with Lamarr Powell. Let me say I don't like sales people because of my own person and professional experience. I came to ELCO and was greeted by Lamarr he was straight forward and seemed honest. However, I was hesitant about buy a new car and still didn't have that trust in him. I came just to look at a Buick at ELCO as I was going to Don Brown to buy another. Lamarr knew once I left ELCOs lot I was buying a car, it just wasnt going to be from ELCO, and nevertheless he didn't push me into the sale. Lamarr listened to what I wanted, was patient with me, and told/did what I needed to be comfortable and trusting of him. I test drove the Buick and was only gone 7 minutes. Lamarr knew there was no way I could really get to know that car in 7 minutes. Lamarr offered me an overnight test drive; we laughed because I told him you know what you are doing. Lamarr did everything he could to make sure I was not only happy with the Buick but that it was exactly what wanted and I trusted him. I will recommend Lamarr to anyone I know and I have already. Selling the car is easy if you know your customer and understand the needs. For me its the experience after the sale. I been in for service a few time and anytime see Lamarr, he stops to take a moment and catch up. Lamarr is an asset to the ELCO team I look forward to continued business with him.

This experience was really great!! I ordered this car and was kept abreast of what was going on weekly. I picked it up last night. The salesman, Mark Gerecke took so much time with us and was not one of those pushy salesmen!! I'm We were debating to get the SRX or the new XT5 which replaced the SRX. We went over the pros and cons together and came up with this decision. Picking up the car was a breeze. Mark had just about everything ready to go when we got there with the exception of my own personal preferences I had to choose. The finance department was so helpful as well. We dealt with an awesome guy of the name of Bill Van Oyen who made that finance part as easy and painless as possible! This experience was wonderful and to top it off I absolutely love my new vehicle! Go and see these guys for any GMC PRODUCT! They come highly recommended!!!!!!

I came to the dealership to browse for a vehicle and get information. I told the salesman this up front. Salesmen at various other dealerships usually have a change in attitude once they found out I was only looking for information and not buying. This was not the case with Lamarr. He was very courteous throughout the entire experience. He took the time to answer all my questions and gave me his opinion when I asked for it. I didn't feel "pushed" or hurried. I was very impressed with Lamarr's knowledge of multiple vehicles. I will definitely be back to visit Lamarr when I'm ready to purchase my next vehicle.

Buying a car is a very stressful task, buying a car without seeing or touching is even a lot harder. I called Elco after a long extensive search since they had the colors I wanted specifically a convertible Camaro white with red interior. They made me change my mind about the out-of-state buying experience! I talked to Roger who made the deal very simple and was done in couple of hours, then few days later the car was on the way to me. I highly recommend giving them a call and ask for Roger and I'm sure that he will do his best to make it a pleasant experience.

I went to Elco to look at trucks. I was a little nervous on my drive from Farmington as to what to expect at Elco. All of that changed as soon as I met Chris at Elco. I went to Elco to look at trucks. I was a little nervous on my drive from Farmington as to what to expect at Elco. All of that changed as soon as I met Chris at Elco. He was very professional and knowledgeable about the Ram trucks that I looked at. He made my wife and myself beyond comfortable and as satisfied as possible. He explained things clearly and I drove off the lot feeling like I got the best deal possible. I will for now on only buy from Elco and will recommend all of my family and friends to deal with Chris! Our service through ELCO was amazing and Jimmy was outstanding! He did absolutely everything he could to make sure we got the payments where we needed to be as well as made sure we were very comfortable. My husband was very anxious and he also made sure that he felt as comfortable as he could even through the transition to the business office where Brad helped us! I had been researching the Chevy Volt for a few years and decided to take my research to the next level. I discovered that the ELCO dealership had a 2017 in stock that matched my color and options criteria. I setup an appointment with Eric Cromer for Saturday. When I arrived, the dealership manager greeted us with a warm welcome and paged Eric. While waiting for Eric to arrive, which didn't take long, the dealership manager shared further details about the dealership and assured us that the staff would assist us with whatever we needed. We went for our test drive and fell in love with the Volt. Once we returned to the dealership, Eric commenced with the trade-in appraisal and the submission of our application to the Finance department. While we were waiting, several staff members reached out to us and offered us refreshments and assistance. Eric quickly returned with his appraisal of my car and I have to say that I was very pleased. From there, we went to the Finance department where we signed the paperwork and completed the deal. All-in-all, the process was very smooth and we were leaving the dealership in our new car within 2 1/2 hours from start to finish. That's a testament to the skill and professionalism of the staff at ELCO Chevrolet. I highly recommend this dealership if you're in the market for a car.

I've bought several cars in my life, and every experience has been a negative one until this trip. I found ELCO through some good internet deals. Their prices were fair, and they got some cars ready for me to come in and check out. Lamarr Powell had me test driving one of the cars in less than 10 minutes. I live in the KC area and flew to STL to do this deal and Roger completely made me feel at ease and maintained great communication throughout the transaction. The process of buying the car was a quick as it could possibly have been and I was on the road 30 minutes after showing up at the dealership via Uber. Lamarr was great. From the time I spoke with him on the phone until the time in left with my keys he was great. He was the most honest car salesman I've ever met. He wasn't pushy and was very personable. We had a great conversation during the test drive. He knew I was a car guy and let me check the truck over at my own pace. Eric made trading in my and my daughter's cars and leasing 2 Chevy Cruze a pleasure. It was quick, easy and pain free. We were in and out in about 3 hours on a Friday night. Was looking for a specific vehicle. Black on Black Escalade pre owned. I noticed on Friday that ELCO had one in stock. It was on the website, however, no pictures were posted. Contacted dealership, spoke to Eric DeBruin. He confirmed vehicle was there, said it was a fresh trade and in service. He went as far as to walk on a Friday night to service and take a short video of the truck and send it to me with his contact info. I was there the next day at 9am, drove the vehicle, he even made sure it had gas and checked the tire pressures. Came back, wrote it up, decent trade for my vehicle, sent to finance and was out with the truck by noon. Both finance-Sveta and Sales Manager-John Durham were helpful. There were a few items that needed to be addressed on the truck. Dropped it off the next week and everything was completed as promised. Eric even texted me when the truck was ready. All in all a positive experience and personally thank Eric DeBruin for the good sales experience.

This past week I experienced the worst bait and switch tactic I have ever seen at a dealership. ELCO Chevrolet was completely unwilling to honor their online price. I spent 2 hours with them this past Saturday, discussed everything verbally and went in on the following Monday to close a deal. When I arrived on Monday, I was informed I didn't qualify for $4500 in rebates which was never disclosed on Saturday. The $1500 trade assist was a complete farce, this is basically a rebate Cort Howard (ELCO GM) can apply if he feels like it because there are no specific terms around this. The $3000 "Chevy" loyalty reward is a scam as well, I was told it only applies to people that own a Chevy (again, this was not disclosed to me the past Saturday). My GMC truck was fine on Saturday but when I showed up Monday to complete the purchase it was all of a sudden not eligible under the Chevy loyalty reward. I understand this is not a decision made at the dealer level but it is still a joke. I have owned Chevy and GMC trucks/SUVs for the past 20 years and I am done at this point. If I am not considered loyal after 20 years then I will never purchase another GM product. I have purchased around 10 vehicles in the last 20 years and this was the most disgusted I have ever been walking out of a dealership, to the point I drove directly to Plaza Motors and started looking at foreign SUVs. Barring someone making an extreme effort to rectify the issue I am done buying GM products.

I took my car in for a repair and agreed to a 30,000 mile maintenance which included a fluid exchange only to discover that most of the fluids were NEVER supposed to be replaced according to my owners manual and the advice of another mechanic. They charged me $843!!!! They would not refund one dime of my money. Short term gain, long term loss of a customer. A co-worker went in for an oil change and received this fluid exchange that she never authorized. $500!! They refund half of her money. Are they taking advantage of women? Company used to be owned by Enterprise - new owner, definitely unscrupulous business practices. Very condescending.

My wife and I purchased a 2013 Escalade ESV . Lamar Powell was a gem to deal with. Brad Grellner made the financing painless...This was true on the day of the purchase...after you leave the dealership and find your vehicle has a bent wheel....It is a whole other story. I thought that the tires needed balancing...my shop in my home town discovered the bent wheel. Even noted this on the receipt which I faxed to ELCO. I am basically being called a liar...I claim they knew the wheel was bent and that a potential buyer would never know until after the sale....saving them hundreds of dollars. They are basically saying that I bent the wheel after the sale, because it could not have been certified with a bent wheel....Why don't we consider who has the most to gain by lying. Mr. John Durham is more concerned about profit than customer relations. This dealership should be ashamed of Mr. Durham and his disregard for customers. They have my money...why should they do the right thing. I will do everything in my power to discredit this dealership and send potential customers elsewhere.

Elco answers the phone, no recordings, very pleasant voice greats you every time. The service department is constantly hopping. Everything runs smooth; many service people, no waiting. Sparkling clean dealership.I have a 2010 Corvette and 2009 Saturn Outlook SUV. Prompt on getting cars in to fix recalls. So far, I have never been disappointed in Elco.

I had been searching for a pickup trucks for several weeks, I saw that ELCO had the one a I was looking for with low miles and an excellent price. My dad mentioned that he bought a Cadillac from them about a year ago and said he had a great experience with Chris so I decided to check out the truck and an 1hr and 30min later we drove it home. I got a great deal for my trade in price and didn't even feel the need to haggle on the price of the truck I bought. From the sales to financing process everything was smooth sailing. Purchased a used car from their dealership that I had been evaluating for a couple of weeks. Eric was very friendly and showed a genuine interest in accommodating my concerns on my trade. Went that extra mile to make the deal. My low rating on the dealership in general mainly applies to the service dept. Not very friendly, Had to wait an exceptionally long time to get the service form written with little acknowledgment despite having several employees available with no customers. Have had much better experiences with other dealerships in that regard. Service after the sale is important and I will avoid using this dealership as my first experience was not that good. Was given 4 free oil changes but will most likely pay another dealer for that service. I would also like to thank the finance dept. for an exceptional job. Very professional and very courteous.

My father just bought a truck from here. My dad worked his whole life and his goal was when he retired buy a brand new truck. He has bought one at least one every other year or every year since his retirement from Chevrolet. he treats his truck like there is his baby's clean them wash them never have a scratch nothing. He went over To buy a brand new truck from this place but they talked him into buying a used truck. without my dad knowing they did not disclose that the truck was already wrecked. my father 65 years old so when I went over to his house and next day I noticed that it was wrecked the you got next day when I came over my father is 66 years old. He was devastated Wasn't angry cause he thought that they would take care of him .the truck he traded in was perfectly beautiful truck. He tried to return the truck the following day but no luck there anything basically saying that he was screwed. After buying 9 brand new Chevrolet pickup trucks in the last 12 years you think Chevrolet could do something to help him out. I would not in no way do any kind of business With this place. I wouldn't recommend anybody going there is received nothing but bad service and mislead from the start

I came in to purchase a vehicle I saw online. It was a used 2015 Silverado. I had an appointment with Rob Kern. He was running behind so another salesman, Jason Holley helped me. Jason showed me the truck really fast. I took it for a drive and everything seemed great. I told Jason that I wanted $29,000 for my current vehicle in order for the deal to be feasible for me. The new truck would be $38,800. When I went in to meet with the finance person Jim Sells is when it turned into a nightmare. I told Jim several times that I needed $29,000 for my vehicle on a trade in. Jim told me not to worry that I would get it. I told him I was leaving for Florida the next day and wanted to make sure the paperwork was correct. Jim told me to just sign the documents and we will get it "squared away" when I got back from Florida. So I signed the papers reluctantly with the understanding that the numbers would be to my approval when I returned from Florida. Jason went over the truck with me while it was dark outside. He was very quick and did not even explain how the Navigation worked. The following day I left for Florida and drove a rental car. I left my truck at my house, parked inside the garage. While I was gone my son looked at my truck and noticed some body damage under the cab on the passenger side of the vehicle. He told me that there was a big dent and a scratch approximately 10 inches long. I had my son take it to the local body shop to get an estimate. Upon returning from Florida I received the estimate from the local body shop and it came to approximately $4500. There was also hail damage on the cab that could not be repaired. The following week I took the truck back to Elco to seek compensation for the damage. Jason came back after conferring with the manager John Durham and said that John asked how does he know that I did not cause the damage. I was very upset. The truck was only driven from the dealership to my garage. There were signs of rust where the dent is. I told John repeatedly that if he would just give me my truck back I would be on my way. John refused repeatedly and rejected my request to have Elco fix the vehicle.That night I was looking through the truck and found In the glove box I an old service ticket with the previous owner of the vehicle name on it. I contacted him and he confirmed that the damage was on the truck was there when he traded it in. During this time I began to review my paperwork and realized Jim put a warranty in my deal and did not tell me. He quoted me payments with the warranty included. I assumed the payment was with the taxes included. I live in Illinois where you have to collect taxes in every new car purchase. I soon realized that Jim never collected sales taxes upon delivery. I then returned to the dealership with my attorney present. This time I spoke with Cort Howard and he told me that the owner Mark Hadfield would just "unwind" the transaction and I could buy a new truck using my original truck as the trade in. The only issue was at this point was the rebates were $3000 less that the previous month. If they would have let me out of the deal when I originally asked to I would have had the full rebates which would have totaled $6000. I went home that day to think about it and when I returned two days later, I returned, without my attorney. This time Cort said that Mark is not going to let me out of my previous deal and we will just use the truck I currently have with the body damage as a trade in. Well 5 weeks prior I paid $38,800 for the truck. Cort said he would give me $34,000 for it. What a rip off. I am at a loss. Now I have had to come up with $4000 out of my pocket for taxes, and ended up owing $49,000 for a truck I paid $38,800 for. How the heck does that happen? I'm a car guy. I build cars and I build aircraft and i consider myself very knowledgeable about mechanical things. I have bought two vehicles from Eric DeBruin at Elco Chevrolet and both experiences were excellent. The first vehicle was in 2010 Silverado. This was a great truck and great experience. The second time, I went back to Eric because he is very knowledgeable and worked with us to get the best price. The second vehicle was a Cadillac Escalade. We were originally looking for a Tahoe and Eric showed us the Cadillac. He showed us the differences between the two and amazingly the Cadillac was cheaper. I appreciate Eric's extensive knowledge about the products he sells and he is up to speed and up to date on almost all service bulletins. Eric knew the answers to my very technical questions without having to look them up or ask for assistance. The reason I went with a used vehicle from Eric was because I knew that some new designs have issues. Eric was extremely knowledgeable and knew of the same issues. I appreciate that Eric is a car guy, a veteran, and NDT certified (which means non-destructive testing). I consider him a new friend. I typically do not like buying from dealers nor do I like salesman, but Eric has convinced me otherwise. If you choose to look at vehicles at Elco ask for Eric De Bruin and tell him that Matt with the Cadillac sent you. As far as customer service goes Eric has went above and beyond. There were no issues with the Silverado. The Cadillac Escalade needed some work after we purchased it. Also there were some number issues on our paperwork. Eric took care of both of these issues after the fact. I have not worked with any sales agents that have fixed a problem when they didnt have to do so. I recommend Elco Chevrolet to all my friends and feel strongly enough to write about it here.

We bought a gorgeous 2015 BMW from Jason and couldn't have had a better experience with him from beginning to end. You can immediately tell that he is excellent at his job - with just the right personable touch and tactfulness to know when we needed time to discuss things on our own. Once he sensed our interest he immediately came back to us with the best possible offer - one that we honestly couldn't pass up. He did not pressure us, and we never felt like anything was being left off the table. His customer service style is laid-back and professional. Jason let us take all the time we needed to make our decision, even running the car through the wash and pulling it into the service garage so we could fully inspect it under bright lights. Our brother and sister-in-law purchased an SUV from him several months ago and had a similarly positive experience. We highly recommend going to him for the best car buying experience!

Test drove a 2015 Silverado followed by the typical "what can we do to get you in this vehicle tonight" high pressure sales pitch where they ask you seven different ways to Sunday what they can do to get your business this evening no matter how much you insist they can't. Their initial offer on my trade in was very low, as expected; but they also said part of the value was in a rebate offered by Chevy which was a bit disingenuous and not true at all as confirmed by the two other dealerships I visited afterwards. Luckily, like any good consumer, I visited multiple dealerships and after the second dealership I visited (Lou Fusz), Elco doubled their offer to comp the second dealership. When the third dealership came in even higher (almost 3x Elco's inital offer) they said they they were at their max which I can understand. No complaints on their customer service and the salesman was prompt in all follow-up inquiries. Overall I would say do your homework and shop around, because if you are looking for the best deal out there, they most likely aren't it; if your more focused on customer service and willing to pay a bit more, I would say check them out. Again, I would also emphasize, check out a few other dealerships in the area as customer service is very difficult to differentiate on in this market with so many dealerships in the area I literally went from one dealership to the other in the matter of 15 minutes. One final piece of advise, is do a bit of homework before hand and understand what the incentives are in case they try and pull a fast one like mine did, and based on others feedback seems to be a rampant occurrence at this dealership. Finally, never take a dealership's first offer, real negotiation doesn't even start until you walk out that door and the more information you are armed with the better price you will be able to negotiate down to.

Chevy dealers in general are not the most pleasurable people to work with but Elco tops the list of worst by a long shot. If you don't mine being hassled like you're in an interview, pushed around, rushed into the decision and treated like you're just a dollar bill then don't go here. We started by searching all over the internet to find the perfect car for my boyfriend and we found that at Elco. We took a drive up there to look at it. We liked it, talked about it and decided to go back up there to see what they would give him for his car and see some numbers, ya know, the usual. It's started with a low ball quote for our cruze. Still, refusing to even deal with is for the trade in, we came to the discussion of the price of the new sonic we were interested in. Chris's exact words and I quote " we are a no haggle dealership" which right there would make anyone walk away. And not to mention the rudeness in the tone of his voice. It's safe to say, I didn't like that saleman from the start. He talked my boyfriend into heading to finance to " look at numbers" before a purchase. We got a finance guy that was there for 5 days prior so he was relatively new, which is fine! He kept beating around the bush and after fifty mins into finance, he trys to get us to sign papers without even giving us payment prices!!! We got out at that point and went back to the used buliding to get our old keys back and leave. He has already put out keys away and cleaned up the new car!!! We finally got our keys and left. Not even a Mile down the road, we got calls from the dealer trying to reason with us. Even text messages for Chris which was bothersome. Don't go here for your best interest. There are better ones out there.

Mr. Rob Kern at Elco Chevrolet has tremendous work ethic. I purchased a new vehicle that had a minor scratch on the door. Mr. Kern made sure (coming I on his day off) it was fixed properly. I took my car to Elco to get looked at, after my dealership said they could not fit me in. My 2013 Chrysler kept stalling while in motion, and so I felt this needed attention. Elco made sure to fit in time to run diagnostics, seeing the situation as important as I did. I worked with Lamarr Powell who was knowledgeable, friendly and accommodating. I will be bringing my vehicle here instead of my dealership from here on out. A big thank you to Lamarr and the team at Elco.

We had a whirlwind week. Monday at 10 am, we got a massive repair bill on our old car, by 8 that evening, we were in a new chevy sonic. It was for my fiance and she was extremely nervous about rather or not we would get the loan approved. Roger was confident and did everything he could to ease her mind. Next day we were accepting delivery, they called worked magic and actually got us a LOWER car payment than what she had. She loves her new car and will not go anywhere else. Roger is now her new favorite person as well. We also dealt with Brad on the loan side, he was fast and knowledgeable. I was stuneed to find out he was the newer guy. Roger was knowledgeable, fast and we went from car repair bill to new car in less than 24 hours. I currently own a chevy truck...and I already know where the next one is coming from. Thanks Roger and Brad, I can't tell you how excited she was to accept delivery, but I can tell you she smiles every time she sees her new car.

My wife and I are in our 70's and have both owned Cadillacs for over 35 years (we buy two at a time and have owned about 12 Cadillacs between us). Only recently have we started buying through Elco Cadillac since they were awarded the dealership a few years ago (we have bought 3 Cadillacs during that time).This purchase experience was by far one of the best I have had in 35 years. Namely because of a wonderful Sales Manager and outstanding salesman. William Paster is the Sales Manager and Brian Buhr is the salesman. They both spent countless hours working on my purchases and both gave me their undivided attention at all times. They were extremely professional and more importantly, very considerate and attentive to my wife's and my needs. I was extremely satisfied with the new cars we bought, the attention to detail both men displayed, and felt like we got the best deal possible. Both Bill Paster and Brian Buhr went way beyond the required protocol and simply went the extra mile for me. Brian actually came to my home THREE times to program our garage door opener. Bill spent countless hours searching for the EXACT cars we wanted and found them eventually. We were trying to find specific 2015 models with exactly what we wanted at a time when few options existed (the 2016 models were already out) and Bill actually found an exact match of what we wanted.I will buy Cadillacs until the day I die....and will ALWAYS buy them from ELCO Cadillac and these two men. I have bought a lot of cars over many years but I have never bought one quite so easily as the one I bought at Elco. Andrew actually made the process fun and I've never been able to say that before. He listened to what I was looking for, found several models to choose from, gave me one to test drive over a weekend and then had everything ready so there was no waiting when I came in to finalize the deal. Sveta got me thru the paperwork quickly and I was on my way in my new car. When I bring my car in for routine service, Andrew makes sure that I can get in and out quickly. He definitely believes in service after the sale and I have recommended him to many of my friends. Andrew has made dealing with Elco a very pleasant experience.

I was recently looking for a new SUV and stopped at Elco to look. Andrew immediately came to see how he could help me. After hearing what I was looking for, he showed me several Chevrolets and then told me about some some Cadillac SRXs that they were clearing out. While I never thought a Cadillac was what I wanted, once I drove one and then heard the pricing that I could get for one that was still under warranty but had just a few thousand miles on it, I was immediately sold. Andrew made the process so easy. I signed all the papers and he asked if he could deliver it to me the next day because he wanted to make sure it was in tiptop shape for me. He actually delivered it to my house!!! I love my new Cadillac. Thank you, Andrew!

I met Joe Archambault when he came into my place of business. I noticed that he was wearing a Cadillac jacket and I told him that my next car would be Cadillac. When the opportunity presented itself I went to meet Joe at ELCO Cadillac and he remembered me. He laid out the red carpet and helped me pick out my first Cadillac. The best part of the experience is that Joe and I remain friends and he's still making sure that I receive the red carpet treatment even when I drop my car off for service. The service hours are the worst I have ever experienced. Service techs go home at 4:00pm but the coupons they send out say service is open until 7:30pm. I had my car in for work and the problem was still there when I picked it up. Bob McCosh in Columbia Missouri diagnosed the electrical problem and fixed it. I recommend going elsewhere. They don't have a monopoly on Cadillacs. The body shop is the only good service I have found at this dealer.

Got a great deal on my truck when I bought it, only had minor paint chips should have been a easy fix. When they fixed them and looked at the so called "best guy in towns work" and to put it bluntly my 4 year old daughter could have done a better job with a scratch pen. They went blended at all and totally visible. This may seem like a small detail but when you buy the truck of your dreams and pay a pretty penny for it u expect it to be perfect. Chris weaver was a good sales man he just didn't care about the quality of his repair guys work.. Don't worry I get it fixed the right way by Redfield Collision Center in Festus mo, where they do real paint and body work!

Purchased a vehicle and 3 days later started having problems,took the vehicle in first time and they told me nothing was wrong then a week later started having same issues so took vehicle back in and they still could not find anything wrong then 4 weeks later started having same issues so took vehicle back in and conveniently my warranty had ran out and they diagnosed my vehicles problem immiedetly with a 600 dollar bad altenator how conviently,and everytime I took vehicle in all they kept saying was you should have bought extended warranty,very unprofessional arrogant and the worst dealership I have dealt with purchasing a vehicle

This is from a long time customer of the Service Center but a first time customer looking for a new car. This is a true story: My wife and I came in to the Chevy side of the Dealership looking for a new Buick that was rumored to be at ELCO. No Buicks at ELCO. Walked over to The Caddy side of the lot just to see what was there with no intention to buy. We were approached by Gina who graciously asked if we needed any help. We explained the above story. She said she wished she had that Buick we were looking for but have we ever considered a Cadillac? The answer was that while we had admired CTS's for a long time but for a variety of reasons (size, our specific needs, cost, etc.) we had not. Gina then shared a wealth of technical data about CTS's and some other models. Still, we still did not feel those models filled our immediate and long term needs. She then asked if we had considered a Crossover type of vehicle. We both said that we were not interested and Gina, the class act that she is simply smiled and said: I wish I had that Buick you are interested in, but on your way out, please stop and look at the STX's we have on the lot just for fun, adding "I think that you will be pleased", We did, we were and started to walk back to the show room after briefly asking Bill, the Sales Manager who was busy working on the lot, a couple of details about an STX we were admiring. He quickly and accurately shared those with us adding that Gina could provide us with much more detail. Bill is another class act quickly stopping what he was doing to help us with a smile. This is a common occurrence at ELCO where smiles, courteous behavior and no nonsense answers to your inquiries are the norm. Back in the showroom we found Gina "Still Smiling" who knowingly and graciously asked "would you like to take a test drive" Yes & Yes we replied. She quickly brought up an STX for us to take out but first shared and explained many of the safety and technical details to us. We purchased the red STX Premium that was on the show room that day, Friday Aug. 14, 2015 In Summary, from a potential Buick buyer headed for a Chevrolet showroom from a Cadillac Dealership parking lot, we can say that yes, that Cadillac STX sold itself but more importantly, Gina demonstrated in word and deed that there is much more to total customer satisfaction than a sales slip, brand and price. That's whatultimately led to this sale!We love this dealership and the people that make it the "Best dealership in St. Louis"We thank you Gina, your technical competence and professional conduct were both outstanding and truly exemplary.It was simply fun buying this awesome car from Gina and the ELCO Team.It was a good day, a very good day.The Rocky's

We had it set in our head that we were going to buy from Bomarito Nissan to buy my car, but decided to stop in at Elco since their service team had been helpful with my Cobalt. Chris greeted us right away, and did everything he could to make sure we walked away with the perfect car at a reasonable price. He listened to what I wanted, and really did the work to find a car that met my criteria. After purchasing the car, Chris sat down with me during the On-star setup and Bluetooth setup, and made sure I was comfortable with everything before letting me drive off the lot. We live in the greater St. Louis area where there are literally hundreds of dealerships to choose from. ELCO is, unfortunately, the farthest dealership away from our house but they offered the best deal, twice now!I absolutely hate the whole car buying experience, from sitting around the dealership waiting for who only knows what to more sitting around trying to negotiate a price to who only knows what else... so I prefer to do all my negotiating online or via text messaging and this dealership was able to accomodate my needs just like the other dealerships around but this one was by far, the best EVER! Zero pressure from my salesman, Eric Cromer, and after only a couple days of negotiations, we were able to reach an agreement and complete the sale. My past salesman, Tom Clyde, was just as amazing. I'm a tough cookie to negotiate with and I stood my ground and both times, I honestly believe I came out on top. I literally spent a total of less than an hour inside the actual dealership to complete both transactions. I can't sing enough praises for this dealership!!! To make our entire experience even better, Eric Cromer went above and beyond the call of duty for any car salesman. I traded my old car for a beautiful new LTZ Turbo Malibu. My husband and I drove it back to our home town and had just sat down at a restaurant for dinner which was about 5 minutes before the dealership closed and I got a text from Eric saying that I had left my garage door remote in my old car. He actually drove the entire 40 miles to meet us at the restaurant to give me my opener. After working a 12 hour day, he made an 80+ mile round trip just because he didn't want me to have to bust a window to get into my house. WOW! Now THAT is "customer service".Thanks again Eric, Tom and the entire ELCO Team! You truly do a fantastic job!

I was looking to purchase a vehicle from one of two dealerships before the awesome promotions expired of GM products. I chose this dealership due to the hail sale they were having. I asked to confirm the pricing via email and was told I would get the best deal by coming in. Against my better judgement I did just that and was greeted by a warm and friendly sales person. After talking we discussed pricing was not as I originally thought as listed on the website. I attribute this to both the dealership smart placement of pricing and my own neglect of confirming pricing before going in.All in all, pricing went just about the range I came in with approval from my bank to buy on. I submitted an application to the dealership to obtain financing. My credit is decent, but the negative equity in my car is not so much. After waiting 3 hours to get to this point, I was told I wouldnhear something the next day. I did not. I emailed my sales rep. No response. I called my sales rep who mentioned he would check and call me back. No response. I waited until the next day and followed up with an email, no response. Next, a call, with a let me check and call you back. No call back. I received an email from a sales manager cort advertising the dealership and replied and received no response. I called my rep again and he indicated he would check and call me right back. What was the response? None.I followed up with a call directly to the finance person who indicated he was trying and asked him to ask my rep to call. No call yet. I emailed directly cort and to date, have not received a response.I explained this leaves a bad impression of the dealership especially when financing has not been denied! Even more so I lost out on thousands in rebates that were available thru GM had I chose to purchase elsewhereI say buyers beware. The sales team may seem concerned but review other posts. It's obvious they do not follow up with commitments to their customers and WHEN I purchase my new vehicle in 2-3 months it will definitely not be from ELCO!

All in all, pricing went just about the range I came in with approval from my bank to buy on. I submitted an application to the dealership to obtain financing. My credit is decent, but the negative equity in my car is not so much. After waiting 3 hours to get to this point, I was told I wouldnhear something the next day. I did not. I emailed my sales rep. No response. I called my sales rep who mentioned he would check and call me back. No response. I waited until the next day and followed up with an email, no response. Next, a call, with a let me check and call you back. No call back. I received an email from a sales manager cort advertising the dealership and replied and received no response. I called my rep again and he indicated he would check and call me right back. What was the response? None. I followed up with a call directly to the finance person who indicated he was trying and asked him to ask my rep to call. No call yet. I emailed directly cort and to date, have not received a response. I explained this leaves a bad impression of the dealership especially when financing has not been denied! Not only did the dealers inaction still not give me a response regarding financing but they also caused me to lose out in thousands of GM rebate. I say buyers beware. The sales team may seem concerned but review other posts. It's obvious they do not follow up with commitments to their customers and WHEN I purchase my new vehicle in 2-3 months it will definitely not be from ELCO!

Our Cadillac was destroyed by Elco while in for basic service. They would not repair their damage, GM would not fix it and they basically denied all responsibility. We will never purchase another GM car ever again and we try to warn everyone that we encounter about Elco--do not go there!!! We are extremely happy with our new Infiniti and the level of service that we receive--thanks Elco for pushing us in that direction--we love it.

HORRIBLE PLACE! DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE TO GET REPAIRED. We took our 2000 corvette into Elco in Sept 2014 to get repaired after an accident. There was an aftermarket part on the car that we were told was backordered and would be in before the end of the year. It is now May 2015 and we still do not have our part and have not heard from Elco at all. I had to call in today to see what was going in and no one knew. After getting pass around to 5-6 different people, the service manager Kyle tried to help. I am very disappointed in the service I received and would not recommend anyone to take their car here to get repaired.

My wife and I recently "wanted" to get her a new car - did not "need" one.She really liked the Equinox so we decided to give it a try and test drive one.We met Phil Geraci in early March on a Saturday morning to take a test drive.This was really to get some info on the car and test drive - we had not intention of buying at the time.It was a low pressure meeting and Phil was very accommodating to our requests for info.He followed up with us after the fact and offered to answer any other questions we may have had.One month later, we decided to actually see if it would be a good fit for us, so we scheduled another test drive on a Saturday morning with Phil. He met us and we took another drive.My wife loved the car so we decided to try and pursue a purchase.Phil found us the exact color and model we wanted with all the features we requested and proceeded to try and work us a good deal. The process was painless and straightforward, which we really appreciated.He then passed us to James in Finance, who was another straight shooter.He is very honest and forth coming on whether a deal could be reached or not with our current numbers. We decided to pursue a lease instead and not only did this work our better for us - it came in less than what we had expected. He took care of us very quickly and courteously.Phil was already working on getting the car inspected and ready for us to drive home.A few hours later, we drove off in our brand new Chevy Equinox, which my wife loves.I would definitely recommend stopping by Elco Chevrolet if you are in the market for a car and ask for Phil Geraci. Tom Clyde almost let a sale walk out the door and then didn't want us to buy the car from him. He was a total jurk to my wife! If it wasn't for doing the deal with Chris I would have left and the dealer would only have one star. He told me "I don't care if I lose a sale". He was yelling at us saying we were calling him a liar! Cort sent me this link before ever going to the dealership and I hope he reads this, because I don't know any GM that would stand for one of his sales staff to a jurk to people and say he don't care if they lose a sale. If Cort would like to talk to me about it please give me call. As I said before I did the deal with Chris and I would say A+ dealing with him and Tom I would grade at a F- because there is nothing lower.

Our initial dealing with Elco Chevrolet was on the phone with Murray Newton. He was very friendly and eager to help us find the perfect vehicle. Once we arrived at the dealership and the receptionist contacted him, he promptly came to us and told us he had tried to call us with a car he thought would fit what we were looking for. He promptly took us to his desk and pulled it up for us to look at. After some discussion of what we were looking for he showed us 2 different models. After test driving them we told him we preferred the Malibu over the Cruze and he said he would see what he could do to get us the car we preferred. He worked magic with the entire team involved with our trade all the way to finance and got the price of the car to one we were excited to see. My family and I have purchased many cars over the years from Elco, and I always talk about them to my friends / clients. They recently did a great job of putting me in a great used vehicle when mine broke down beyond reasonable repair. Then came a very rare negative. I was contacted by the service department 4 days later asking for $95 for a diagnostic on the vehicle I traded. This is the same diagnostic check performed at advanced auto, and Auto Zone for free. This is certainly not a way to treat a return customer that has just spent over 40k! I will be sure to tell everyone I know how I was nickel and dimed after my purchase!

I was very satisfied with my recent experience at ELCO. I worked with Chris and he was wonderful to work with. The car I actually came to see ended up being sold, but Chris immediately offered to show me a different car that they had just gotten in that he thought I might like. I loved the car, but I never felt pressure from Chris to make a purchase. I really appreciated the no pressure atmosphere and Chris's hospitality. My PT Cruiser unexpectedly went out and I was in desperate need of a new vehicle. I had visited 2 other dealerships prior to visiting ELCO. I had looked at a Kia Soul at other dealerships but the price wasn't right and the dealerships seem to be playing games. I saw a Chevy Spark on ELCO's website and Tom Clyde contacted me by email. He made prudent suggestions during the ordering process, even explaining to me why I might regret some options that I was considering. Jim was great, he is great at selling cars and could even sell a ketchup Popsicle to a women in white gloves. The dealership had issues on their end with paperwork and the lady that called me was really rude. I would of gone back in the future but not after how she spoke "to me". I wish I would have gotten her name...

Chris worked very hard for this sale . He went above and beyond to get this deal closed. He had things already in motion and our deal was done before I even came out to the dealership. It was the smoothest quickest sale I have ever had at any dealership and I have purchased many new cars. The same with Bryan. We were in and out, deal closed and financing done. We were very satisfied with everything so far. I have not used your service department as of yet but if it goes like the rest of the dealership I will be extremely happy.

I had never been to the dealership prior to purchasing my Acura. I was amazed at the selection of used cars. I was greeted promptly by a courteous young man. He introduced me to Jimmy Mac. The fun began. He was a pleasure to meet. Very affable and easy to get along with. No pressure what so ever. Told him what I was looking for and he showed me what he had and said if he didn't have it, he'd help me find one. Jimmy had exactly what I was looking for in the price range I wanted. I worked in sales/sales management for 40 years with Otis Elevator and am very aware of relationship selling. It's the only way to get repeat business. Jimmy has it to a tee. I will be back and will recommend him to anyone I talk to that is looking for a car.

When I buy a new car, I compare cars across the segment I am looking at (in this case it was small hatchbacks). This means I go to different dealers, and later on I stop by a couple of these dealers more than once to do secondary tests and collect additional information as I narrow down my choices. I worked with Vernon Chapman during my two visits to Elco, and he was quite helpful. Right off the bat on the first visit, he respected the fact that I was only testing the waters, took me on a test drive, and was able to answer all of my (thorough) questions and followup questions. He was genuinely polite and courteous and made decent non-car related chitchat. Yes, Vernon made nudges for my business. That's what salespeople do - they only keep their job if they can regularly close the deal. But it's not a matter of *whether* a salesperson pushes for my business when I'm out window shopping - it's how hard they push. The more irritating salespeople I've worked with pushed relentlessly to close a deal that same day, and a few even had the gall to insult my intelligence. Vernon, on the other hand, respected the boundaries I set and showed/gave me exactly what I wanted: information, and a feel for the car. Whether I end up buying the car from him or not, he deserves this review as an earnest recommendation.

Chris Weaver was the best Salesman I could have asked for. Initially I was not visiting ELCO for myself, but ended up purchasing a car from Chris. I had been looking for a while and saw a car at ELCO I liked, but wasn't in love with at first. I test drove the vehicle for a day, and then found another one that I liked better at a different dealership. Chris was very helpful and informative, but never pushed me to make a purchase. My final decision on which car I purchased was due to Chris and his outstanding customer service. He was much more personable and understanding than the other dealership. I now love my car and would recommend Chris to anyone.

The team here is truly amazing when it comes to taken care of their customers. Being a female going to a car dealership can be very intimidating. But my salesman Ezechi and his boss Cort took very good care of me and made me feel very comfortable. I have never experienced anything like this before at any other dealership. I came to Elco knowing that they had the best selection in the area. Currently, I am living in Kansas and was dissatisfied with the selection there so I came back to my hometown roots to purchase my first car. Roger was the first person to see me on the lot, I didn't even have to go looking for anyone! I told them that I was looking between two different models, the Cruze and the Equinox. We looked at the prices and selections of Equinox, went for a test drive, and started paperwork, all within an hour! They let my father and I take the Equinox out to lunch while they surveyed my trade-in and ran my credit. When we returned, they were all ready for us! We waited 15 minutes before we had our final prices. Dave helped me with my financing and explained everything very clearly. I couldn't be more impressed with how quick and professional this team was. Everyone helped with a smile and were eager to answer all of our questions. Another hour later, we walked out with my new car. I will definitely be returning and recommending Elco to all my friends and family!

It was a stress free experience dealing with Jim McCormack. I found the exact car I wanted after looking for months. I had bad experience at a dealership my husband and I first went to, we loved the car but was so uncomfortable we walked away. I was determined to find that same car for a lower price. I found it at ELCO and inquired through the internet, Jim was so quick with respones. We were in and out with a new vehicle a few days later. He even sat in the car to make sure my On Star was set up correctly. We got a great rate also. Everyone was super friendly, quick, and helpful. We will go back when we need to buy again.

Jim McCormack I bought a car from Jim about 18 years ago and have followed him to Elco! He kept an eye out for a car for my girls. I wanted something safe and something he'd put his own children in to drive and feel safe and comfortable doing so. I know Jim found us the best car for the best price and his customer service alone is priceless. Putting my teens on the road and not worrying, will not be easy, but Jim really made me feel better and knowing they will be in a safe car, makes a happy mommy! Jim was amazing to work with. I found a vehicle I was interested in online, emailed him right away and withiin 3 hours we were test driving the vehicle. I was frustrated earlier that day because another dealership was trying to sell us on leasing a new vehicle. We told them over and over that was not something we were intrested in and they just kept pushing! At ELCO Chevrolet the cars are priced to sell, so no need for hours of negotiating. He gave us great trade in value for our old vehicle so we were able to drive away in our dream car with no hassle! Well worth the drive from Belleville, IL. The entire experience was very pleasant. From the telephone call I made to express my interest in a car on the web site to the initial in-person greeting to the test drive, trusting us and not insisting on accompanying us, to the paperwork process to the drive away in our new vehicle, the ELCO team was unsurpassed in my opinion. In fact, since purchasing a 2011 CTS4 from ELCO with Jim McCormick and Sveta Gwin's assistance I have talked with friends/neighbors, comparing my wife and and my experience with ELCO to previous experiences with the local Cadillac dealership. Many people seemed to already know or suspect what we just learned: The service department at J. S. Cadillac is top notch but don't buy a vehicle from them, go across the river to ELCO. Okay, fine, now I know. From now on ELCO is the answer for our new and preowned Cadillac needs/wants.P.S. Please forward this testimony to J. S. Cadillac. I was looking for an SUV. I had pulled into the Elco used car lot and when I got out of my car and started looking at vehicle I was promptly approached by Chri Weaver. He was very helpful and patiant. Answered all of my questions and was Not pushy. Once I decided on the SUV of my choice the Chris walked me thru the purchase and I felt at ease. My husband and I just purchased a 2010 Escalade and couldn't be happier with it. Jeff Bequette was very helpful and cooperative throughout the week long decision making process, and let us keep the car over a weekend to really test it out which really helped. He was kind and I could tell he was genuinely happy for us and enjoyed his job in helping customers find the right car for their family. We were also very pleased with the finance department. Bryan Davis was quick and efficient (and funny), and explained everything we needed to know before we signed. We had a great experience at this dealership!

My wife and I were highly impressed with the professionalism and courteousness of everyone from the General Manager to the Service Department. The entire process was truly an enjoyable as well as memorable experience. My wife has her dream car; a new 2014 Camaro 2lt/rs !!! I'm writing this review on Elco Chevrolet/Cadillac for several key reasons. First, after spending 30 years myself in the consumer goods industry and dealing with front-line consumers, I believe in this process of qualitative feedback. Second, when you get a good deal you really want to tell someone about it and while the term deal is subjective, Elco took extremely good care of me on this used car purchase...I feel I got a great deal! In simple terms, I needed a specific vehicle and while not in inventory Jeff Bequette (Sales) searched for one, had it delivered to the dealership and after a short test ride I new this was the vehicle. Jeff also went to bat on my trade-in and solidified the deal for me. He walked me over to the finance department and Bryan Davis asked me a few questions completing the paperwork and I was out and home for dinner in roughly an hour or so. The price of the vehicle was right on, I'd done my homework looking up the value of this vehicle and knowing you are getting the right price is very reassuring and instantly builds credibility. I'm glad to share my experience at Elco, there is so much transparency today in purchasing a new or used vehicle that what you really need to feel is trust when you walk into a dealership. Trust comes from trustworthy people, and that's the difference I felt at Elco.

My fiance and I were searching for our first car together. While browsing the lot on my own while my fiance was out of town for work I found a 2008 Tahoe for a great price and in excellent condition. I stumbled on the car by accident. I was eager to show it to my soon-to-be spouse the car, but we wouldnt be able to come to the following week. Jim let me take the car home so that we would have enough time to try it out and think about it together. We were very comfortable through this whole experience. Jim also helped us through the in and outs of buying and then trading in our current vehicle which was leased. They gave us a good price on the trade which was very important to us. Hands down some of the best customer service I have received buying a car. We are very satisfied with our purchase AND feel like we will continue to have this same customer service and friendliness as we service our car here in the future. Thanks ELCO!!

Jim is very professional and never once showed us that we didn't matter. If there was ever a review to be written then it should be about Jim McCormack and Elco! What an amazing team!! I started out going to the service department at Elco and always had honest and dependable work done which you can not say about all car repairs these days! Always an excellent expierience but on the last visit I had with my car of 207,000 miles on it we found it would cost quite a bit to fix some major repairs so we thought about taking the step to purchase another vehicle. I was nervous about going into the 'car buying' scenario with past expieriences and long ordeals that I was not looking forward to it but Wow was I wrong! All I needed was a great dealership with a dynamite sales person namely Jim McCormack. Jim answered all of my MANY questions and concerns with ease and immediately he made me feel at ease and like this could actually be a great experience and he for sure did not disappoint me in any way. The entire process from talking about the car and then financing just could not have gone smoother or faster. Jim made sure to take the time to get everything prepared and my new car all ready for pickup. Jim will greet you with warmth and a smile and will make everything so easy that you can not go wrong! Our sales rep, failed several times to give us the gift card....after he read the review i left he said he was out of town and thats why we didn't get it(he sent it finally) but he could have done it that day also.Also the manger there a stocky man, was very pushy about trying to make us test drive a car that was out of our price range. we didn't like that at all & told him several times we didn't want to drive that particular car etc....needless to say we bought a car that weekend at a different dealership

Mike Horine did a great job finding the EXACT SRX I wanted. I wanted a particular color exterior and interior that were hard to find and he could have easily just sold me what they had on the lot, but he tracked down my perfect car with everything I wanted and more! Chris Weaver picked up the call right away and assured me that the vehicle was in stock and that he was available anytime to help. He even emailed me back and forth to confirm the directions and my trade-in. The experience at the dealership was amazing, probably the easiest and quickest vehicle purchase I have ever made. They let me drive the GMC Acadia all the way back to my house in Wentzville to show my wife. Then upon returning they had already processed my trade-in, gave me an excellent price on my Mazda 6i, and had me ready to start financing. Chris was polite and a huge help throughout all of this. The financing portion usually is the worst experience, but Elco Chevrolet completely changed my mind! They were able to run my credit, get me an excellent rate on my auto loan and had me out the door in less than 30 minutes! I will certainly use Elco Chevrolet again and will also refer my customers to them. As someone that works in the insurance / auto industry, I'm glad to see there are excellent salespeople like Chris still out there.

Chris was great to deal with, the auto I found on the internet was not there anymore. Chris did a great job and got the auto back to the lot for me and kept me updated as I was making a 3 hour drive to there dealership. Did all he could do to make a good deal for me. 2 hours after getting there the test drive, trade and all paper work was done and I was on my way back home. This dealership and my sales associate were very accomodating and easy to work with. It was clear from the onset that they wanted to sell me a Cadillac and ensure that I would be pleased with my selection, price and the overall purchase experience at ELCO.However, the business manager Sveda was polite, but very matter of fact about completeing the paperwork and closing the financial part of the deal. She was very efficient, but she spoke in a rapid fashion and was hard to follow. Car purchase details may be routine to her but probably not to most customers.

Mike was great and kept in touch with me by email till I was able to travel up there since no one around my area wanted to give me any kind of deal on a car I would consider worth my time( used or new). once we got there mike was waiting for us and jumped right into it. He pull up the car and we went for our test drive, think he might have been a lil nervous since me and my husband are both lead foots. The car was a dream ad me and my husband both wanted it. So we worked and worked and we finally got close to my number and my husband gave the look that he was ready to deal with that so we took our new car home and I am do in love with all the features

Everyone was very knowledgeable in their specific area and they work together as a team. Mike and Cort in sales know the Malibu and point out features as you explain what your needs are, they are patient , they wait for you to finish they actually listen, and are low pressure. Sveta in finance knows what she is doing she is very knowledgeable and polite. For me the finance piece is the worst she made it smooth as silk. Tom in the service department also listened to my concerns and followed up the techs to ensure the mud flap was replaced on the left rear, then he went a little further and had the techs check both left and right quarter panels ensuring they were nice and tight. Service after the sale is really where customer loyalty is developed and Tom Kahl did a good job. Yeah sure everybody wants to sell you a car but this team helped me buy one.

I bought a 2006 convertible Le-mas blue corvette from Jim McCormack at Elco Chevy and was so happy with him that I vowed to myself that I will only buy from Jim from now on. He is the most honest and bend over backwards to help you person I've met outside of my own business. That is "why" I give Elco a 5 out of 5 in every way and would recommend him and Elco to anyone car shopping. I've gotten burned bad in the past so I started restoring my own corvettes so that I knew what I had in my driveway, but after restoring 5 older ones I wanted a newer one and saw low mileage 2006 0n their web site and contacted Jim who I had never met. I told him I was gun shy about spending over 30k on a vette because my last experience which ended up in court and 2 years before it was settled. For the last ten years I bought junkers and fully restored them myself but now wanted a new one with no issues which is what Jim sold me. I told Jim I couldnt go threw that kind of ordeal again had he assured me I wouldnt. The car runs and drives like new and Jim was so good in every way with dealing with me knowing I had lost trust in dealers. My point is that he alone regained my trust in dealerships which is harded to do than simply sell vehicles. He is the benchmark to which others should be rated by. Jim and Elco is why I took the time to peck this message out. I would do anything for Jim McCormick and can say to anyone that wants heart felt honesty to take the time to go to Elco to buy your car. This is the second car we have purchased from Joe Gordon within the last eight months. The reason that Joe gets a "5" from me is because he is great to work with. He helped us to select a 2013 Equinox for my wife and a 2013 Cruze for my son. Worked out a deal over the phone since I live 2 hours away. Made sure deal included taxes and document fees. Confirmed it TWICE over the phone just to be sure. Get there and vehicle was all scratched up both inside and out. They did fix those while we waited and they turned out great! Went in to sign and pay and all of a sudden no taxes included. I think I was lured there under false pretenses and they expected I would just pay the extra. Was a very disappointing experience, especially since they knew I am disabled and the trip was difficult for me. I would definitely NOT recommend them.

Really disappointed. I bought my used car from Elco 2.5 years ago. They did a tour of the service rea and encouraged me to return to have my maintenance done with them. Even though it is out of my way I have done so, with no problems. I went in for an oil change today. When I got the car back the "change oil" digital message was still there. I called to ask how to remove it - this hadn't happened before. Shaun, the person I spoke to, told me that I needed to call the manufacturer and ask them how to do it because it wasn't a Chevrolet. When I explained that it hadn't happened before I was told that then I had got lucky with a technician who knew how to do it, and the technician today didn't. When I asked if he could find out he told me again to call the manufacturer or take it to a Chrysler dealership. I asked him why I should continue to bring my vehicle to Elco for maintenance if this was their attitude. He told me it wasn't their problem. I called back to speak to the Service Manager who had already gone home, and the person at the service desk couldn't tell me who the most senior person was that I could speak to. I called back and asked for the Dealer Principal. After holding for a while I was offered his voicemail and told that he checks it every 30 minutes or so. Two and a half hours later I've not heard back. At the bottom of the invoice it says "Our goal at Elco Chevrolet is to make every customer Completely Satisfied, and we sincerely hope all your concerns were met. If for any reason you are not Completely Satisfied contact our service department so that we can make every effort to resolve your concern." I feel that this lip service only, and they have failed on both counts. Before this experience I would have happily recommended them. I will not be returning.

The car was looking at has been on their website, cars.com and cargurus.com since May 30th and yet they claim they don't have it as it would not pass their inspection to be re-sold. And yet, it is still on their website today, June 12, 2013. It does not take that long to get a listing removed from a website so that it stops feeding into the other websites.

I recently totalled out my car and was sent a list of dealerships to go to by the inusrance company to purchase a new one. He is more than a salesman, he is also a customer service pro! Our relationship did not end after my purchase. Rick Weinstein has continued to contact me throughout the year via email to make sure I am fully satisfied with my new vehicle. Also, Rick found the vehicle I wanted with exactly the options I wanted! Believe me, I had a tall order. This was the easiest and smoothest car buying experience my wife and I have ever experienced. Rick greeted us and from the very beginning, he made us feel special. We test drove one vehicle, but hadn't made any decisions. He asked us to come back anytime and he would find us what we really wanted and needed in a new car. A couple of days later I found our Hyundai Santa Fe on line and called him. I stopped by that day after work and asked if I could take the car home to show my wife and return it the next day. There was never a problem. He make the process quick and smooth. I returned the next day to purchase the Hyundai and everything was waiting. He gave me the "grand tour" of the dealership and made me feel right at home. I have been shopping at ELCO Chevy for over twenty years. Before Rick his father (King) was the go to guy. I have always been given the best customer service from Rick and his father. I moved to NY and returned to buy my next vehicles due to their customer service and fair pricing. I always like to buy a car or truck for less then the asking price, and they have always worked with me to assure I got the best price. I have been living in Arkansas since 2005 but still come to Rick and Elco to look for vehicles. I have sent friends to Rick for vehicles as well and he has always made them happy. Look forward to shopping and visiting Rick when I am in town just to see what bargains he has to offer. It is always a pleasure to shop there unlike dealers I have found elsewhere in NY and AR. I try to avoid even looking on their lots due to the excessive sales pressure and never offering any discounts.

Bought used 2007 Buick Rendezvous a little over 30 days ago. Beautiful Leather seats, heated seats ,automatic windows and locks.. Keep in mind I was sold a vehicle with 86,000 mileson it ans a 30 day warranty. Well wouldn't ya know it, about 34 days into me owning the vehicle,it completely shuts off. Of course, I'm disappointed, Right after warranty wares off, it goes kaput!! I take it to dealer ship. I leave it there, and in return I'm given a free rental for a few days to compensate for bizarre buick shut off. They call me on phone and tell em thermostat is off etc and quote me a price or about $400. I ask if it was fixed if the vehicle would be fine, and wouldn't need anymre work done. They call back to let me know it was ready and then told me it was gonna be $576.00 to get it out of the shop. I was assured that it would be in good running condition,with no problem. o after pickup vehicle, it runs fine for about half a week. The very next week Im back where? ELCO CHEVROLET in BALLWIN MISSOURI, because my car shut down AGAIN and this time I was stuck in the pouring rain with m children!!!! They say they will cover me for 1 day with a free rental while they run diagnostics and figure out what the new issue is!! NEW ISSUE?!!!! Let me go on to tell you that before I could take the BUICK home, it was in the chevy shop, and couldn't get it till the next day, after I put money down on it. I asked if it would need any work done after it left the shop and they assured me that it wouldn't!!! I am beyond furious,annoyed and frustrated !! I paid for plates,ptoperty tax and now im paying for repairs as soon as my warranty is up???!!! Please do NOT buy,sell or trade with these people. All they want is your money!! False,Liars,Deceivers- I have a receipt for my roadside service, etc AFTER I got vehicle out of the shop. PLEASE TAKE YOUR BUSINESS ELSEWHERE. I am VERY DISAPPOINTED. NO INTEGRITY. UNACCEPTABLE!!!!

I just purchased my second car from Rick. I still have the first. Rick is very easy to work with. He listens to what you want and strives to meet your needs. When Rick did not have the exact car I wanted, he did not try and pressure me into accepting else that he in in stock. Instead, he listened and accepted my wishes. He called me several weeks later and told me that he now had the car I was looking for and, he was right. It was exactly what I wanted. I bought the car at a fair price and I am happy with the results. I expect to trade in car # 1 in a year or so and will go back to Rick for car # 3.

I wound up getting exactly what I wanted (Sonic LT Hatchback, auto, black, premium sound and MyLink) right off their lot (they have an enormous inventory) -- And all with minimal headache relative to the car buying experience. I live in Springfield, MO where my company is based but travel to St. Louis for work almost every other week. Rick was the reason I traveled to St. Louis to purchase my Cadillac Escalade. I called him and over the phone he went out to the Vehicle on the ELCO lot and described it to me in detail, and went over the vehicle with a fine tooth comb before I decided to drive up from Kansas City. If it weren't for his excellent customer service and honesty I would have never driven 270 miles to make my purchase. Rick was exceptionally knowledgeable about the vehicle I was interested in and then took me for a long test drive while explaining the vehicle in detail. I was on a trip to Chicago and had a drivability problem that resulted in the vehicle not being able to run over 45mph. I got into town and was able to get it into the dealer ship in Chicago. The dealer called me up and stated the vehicle had a failure of the throttle position sensor. They replaced the throttle body assembly and charged me 600.00 for the repair. I ask if they would be able to fix it under warranty and they stated it would not be possible. I told that dealership that I was going to go to my dealer in St Louis. I returned to St Louis and contacted Elco Chevrolet and spoke to my sales person Eric Cromer. Eric spoke to the Chevrolet service manager and told me to bring down the paper work with the old part and they would review it. After looking at the repair, Elco noted that there was a service bulletin talking about throttle position sensor failure. After this review the service manager spoke to the Chevrolet rep. The rep decided to reimburse me the full amount of the repair. I am very thankful for all the help Eric provided me with this situation. Randy Luebbert

I sent an email enquiring about the chevy spark to several dealerships and Ken was the one to respond with the most helpful information. I had several questions that I emailed him about on the day that I wanted to come in and test drive and he got back to be very quickly. He was able to answer all of my questions, and as a young and first time car buyer who was still unsure about buying a car, he was able to put me at ease and help me easily navigate the process. James was also very helpful. I was coming in only to test drive but after speaking with Ken and deciding to go ahead and purchase my car James was able to help me figure out all of my financial worries. Unsure about getting an insurance plan that would coincide with my families he put in a call to our insurance company and was able to orchestrate the whole process over the phone as we sat in the office. I am very pleased with my new car and the whole process and will definitely be recommending ELCO to others.

I recently purchased a Chevrolet Silverado work truck from Mike Horine at Elco Chevrolet. Mike provided the best auto buying experience that I have had at a car dealership. Mike listened to what I needed in a truck and offered some options that he had on his lot. There was no pressure to buy, and at no time did Mike try to talk me into anything that I did not need. Mike understood that I had a budget to work within, and I really feel that he made an effort to help me stay within my budget. The purchase price that Mike and I agreed to was very fair, and the trade in value that we agreed to on my old work truck was very fair as well. I will definitely recommend Mike Horine and Elco Chevrolet to my friends and family.

I purchased a 2010 Cadillac SRX and worked with Chris Collins. I have to say, this was the best experience I've ever had buying a car. Chris was extremely professional, courteous, knowledgeable, and personable. His low pressure approach and demeanor were exactly what I was looking for from a salesman (I had been to many others with different results). Even after the sale, Chris took the time (late on a Friday night) to go over all of the vehicle features and functions. First of all, the reason i decided to go with Elco Cadillac was because a few months ago I did an online inquiry and had a few questions about the 2013 Cadillac CTS. I left my phone number, but dreaded leaving it for fear of being driven crazy by a sales person and pressured into buying a car. Eric Cromer contacted me and i did not take the call because I knew that I was planning on buying the car in the spring and only wanted info. He then e-mailed me and I responded and told him I would contact him in March. He told me that he would wait to hear from me and that they do not do the high pressure tactics( i never mentioned not wanting to be pressured, so this was great) I called him a couple weeks ago and told him that i would be seeing him real soon. I told him the day and time I would be coming.The day I came down he had left sick and that is where Joe Archambault came into the equation. Eric had told him that I would be coming and to take good care of me. Joe was absolutely wonderful. He answered all of my questions. I found him extremely pleasant to work with.I already knew the color car i wanted and price range. The dealership was absolutely beautiful and all of the sales people were very friendly. Joe went over all the bells and whistles in the car and told me if its anything I don't understand to feel free to give him a call. I truly can't stress enough how impressed I was with Joe. I would highly recommend this dealership.

I had gone through my insurance company, USAA, to look for a new 2013 Cadillac CTS and a dealership to work with. There were two Cadillac dealerships that partner with USAA in the St Louis area. Joe Archambault contacted me to provide any assistance that I needed in finding a car that I wanted. ELCO Chevrolet Cadillac did not have the Cadillac CTS with the options that I wanted on their lot. Joe was able to locate a 2013 Cadillac CTS with all the options and was able to have the car for me to look at and test drive within a couple days. I took a test drive with Joe and bought the CTS that day. The purchase of the CTS was a smooth transaction. Joe has contacted me after the purchase and verified that my wife liked the car and that everything was good with the car. I would recommend ELCO Chevrolet Cadillac and Joe Archambault to friends and family.

New dealership is very impressive. I started the transaction in what is now the Chevy building and once they relocated to Cadillac building was thouroughly impressed with it. All of the staff we pleasent and not overly aggressive which is my preference. Worked with Joe who's an awesome guy and a great salesman. Had a phenominal time picking out the options and specs and know it was a bit of a learning curve for us both with the new ATS model. It came in later than expected or promised but was more than I could've ever hoped. Cadillac hit a homerun in my opinion as well as the friendly and personable sales staff at Elco. Loved working with Joe and look forward to doing it again.

We purchased a new car for our almost 16 yr old son. He decided on a Chevy Cruze and chose one and later had second thoughts on its interior color. We called Joe and the manager of Elco and they said that we were not to worry. They would make it right and find a color that Kevin was happy with. Kevin found another Cruze that he liked better and the paperwork was redone and a new price agreed on. Joe Gordon was exceptionally patient and kind throughout the process.

Good Inventory/ Knowledgeable Sales Staff / and Sharp Prices made the selection process easy, Eric Cromer did a very good job of selling without the high pressure tactics that are sometimes associated with car purchases. Cort Howard, the Sales Mgr / and Eric were able to work out the needed price, and James Crowe the finacing, making this purchase a very good experience. Would reccomend the ELCO Dealership to friends and anyone else in the market for a car. In my opinion, these 3 professionals made the difference.

Joe is a great salesman. He is knowledgeable about the vehicles and is willing to work around our schedules to make it convenient for the customer to purchase a car, which is important. He stayed late and came in early. Most importantly, though...he's a good guy who doesn't make you feel like you're in the middle of a purchasing scam. Everyone is in business to make a profit and we respect that. However, authenticity is a character trait you can't teach someone...you either have it or you don't. To be truly successful in sales and especially car sales, you need to be the sort of person that is genuine and truly likable. Joe is, and I'm not surprised he is the most reviewed on your staff. Twice, I had the opportunity to meet his boss (Bill, I believe?) who was always impeccably dressed and looked me right in the eye on both occasions. Also stayed late the first time we were there so that he could meet us personally and shake our hands, and Joe took the time to make sure that introduction happened. This may all have been because our initial contact through an internet search did not get as timely a response as we had anticipated. Nevertheless, that memory is long gone, as the customer service from the team at this new location (which is pristine and beautiful) is outstanding. The process of actually purchasing and necessary paperwork was a bit long. But buying a car is serious business and we understand that.Overall the attitude inside the dealership is very welcoming. Not only are you greeted with real smiles from real, live bodies when you walk inside or visit the service department, the relationship between the coworkers is friendly and genuine. That is another thing you can't teach, and is learned behavior given the experience of this group of employees in this particular environment. We have this in our office, and you don't find it too often. It comes from the top and is filtered down to the coworker level. I would venture to guess that owners and managers treat their coworkers in a manner in which they would like to be treated themselves. The trickle down effect at Elco is definitely evident at the client level. We know this, because our experience there and especially with Joe landed us in front of another one of your brochures and now we are seriously looking at purchasing an Escalade!Many thanks to you all for a terrific experience overall. Went in and was wanting to trade my vehicle for a newer used vehicle. Talked to sales after standing in building for over 15 minutes without a single salesmen even saying a word to me. Should have got the hint and walked out then. Explained to salesman what vehicle I wanted and deal I was interested in while adding I did not want any smoke and mirrors and number playing. I just was interested in straight up real numbers and a yes or no answer if deal could be made. At that time salesman said we 1000 off which I declined and went on my way. Few days past an vehicle price was dropped by 1000 so tried to work deal again since we were close before. Prepared to drop by dealer one more time. Called to workout details to see if we could make a deal I wanted. Salesman assured me we could make that deal and told me to come in. Got to dealer test drove vehicle as dealer looked at my trade. Sit down with salesman to find out that after 1000 dollar price drop, they wanted 2350 more than we agreed on of 1000 dollar difference. INSANE TACTICS. I will never buy from this dealer.

Chris weaver handled a problem for my daughters newly bought used car.My daughter discovered a major issue with her cars heater coil after moving to Fl after just purchasing her car from Chris.Chris and the Elco team took care of the $900 plus dollar cost to fix this issue.I can not say how pleased I was that we did not have to fight to get this issue resolved.When I look to buy my next car or have service work done I will now use Elco for my car service needs.Thank you ELCO.Mark Segelle

Our experience with Joe was fantastic and the best car salesman that we have ever worked with. He was attentive, knowledgeable, friendly and funny..overall great character. He had prior engagements but stayed with us through the whole process and we are very grateful for that. As for the dealership, the facility is very professional and sleek. Joe Gordon was great to work with. We were undecided as to whether to purchase an Equinox or a Traverse and Joe showed great patience while we made our decision. He was very helpful in getting our Bluetooth and On-Star up and running even thought the dealership had closed.
