These guys were very helpful, they answered all my questions and worked with me to get me a good trade value. They were very patient and kind and not afraid to stay late to work with my schedule. While Brandon was busy assisting another customer, the manager came and spoke with us, we were treated like family. After shopping at other dealerships, we went to Emerson to see if we could work on a deal for my 2015 Rave4. Our sales person, Aaron Morse showed us the vehicles that they had in stock. After test driving the vehicle we were interested in we sat down with Aaron to work out the details. At no time did we feel pressured to buy and they were very forth-coming with information. We picked up the vehicle the next day.We also had leased a 2014 Tacoma from another dealership, and after they were not helpful we returned to Emerson to see if I could upgrade to a Tundra. Although we were not able at this time to purchase a 2016, Aaron was able to put me in a 2014 Certified Used Tundra TRD. The deal was made that day, and they even worked past closing time to complete our deal even though we would have been happy to come back the next day.When my wife is ready to upgrade to her next vehicle we will be returning to EmersonCarl & Sue Fleck

I recently purchased a new vehicle from Aaron Morse at Emerson Toyota in Auburn, Maine. My buying experience was comfortable and not stressful. Aaron is down to earth, no-nonsense, and a good communicator. I knew exactly what to expect. He did what he said he was going to do, which builds trust for a consumer. I also met the General manager Matt Martin who makes the customer feel confident and is honest and hard working. I will be making this dealership my preference for future purchases and recommend to all my family and friends.

Feeling listened to and respected is important when making such a large purchase. My salesperson was attentive, listened to my needs, and was willing to negotiate. Communication was also excellent. What a great experience I had buying the car of my dreams. I was driving looking for a second car for myself when I found a sweet 2010 Dodge challenger. I went online and submitted an offer on the car. I was contacted back by Aaron Morse . After a brief discussion via email the paper work was rolling! I could not be more pleased with my over all experience of leasing a new mini van at Toyota of Auburn. Everyone was great form the gentleman who met me in the parking lot and showed me the new cars from the individual who went over our options and finalized all our financial paperwork! Getting into a new car is a simple process and they made the whole experience mostly painless. I would recommend anyone who is in the marked for a new car to give this dealership a shot! We went to Emerson Toyota thinking there was no way we'd find a car of our liking for the money we had available. After walking the lot with Dylan Mackey to look at what was available, it still looked like we may go home with the same car we currently owned. Dylan then got Danielle involved and she was able to do some magic with the numbers and to offer two vehicles at a price point that we could afford. We test drove both cars (they were both great quality cars) and ultimately went home with a new car. Finding the right cars and working the numbers was a time consuming process but the wait was comfortable, the snacks and coffee were fresh and all the folks at Emersons were very friendly. We will not hesitate to return to Emerson Toyota for all our vehicle needs from now on.

I have been a customer since 2005, when I bought my first Corolla. The car had 25,000 miles when I bought it and over the years it was called back for several recalls. Staff has always been SUPER nice!This past Saturday, I walked in knowing that it was time. My Corolla rolled 214,000 and even though I absolutely LOVED my car, it was time to get into something newer. I chose to lease a 2016 Corolla S Plus Special Edition because of the fabulous incentives - and the car ROCKS!!!!Having never leased before, I was thrilled at the options I received. The staff from Aaron, my Sales Agent, to Matt, the General Manager all the way to Angie in the Credit Department was flawless! Not only were they super nice, but they took the time to connect with me and build a relationship. I couldn't have asked for a better experience! Thank you for EVERYTHING!!!

I have had this car about a month. I live in the mountains and wanted a car with decent acceleration that would be good in winter weather. The 2.5 engine has been fine even on steep hills at altitude. I've driven it in snowy, icy conditions (with snow tires) and it handles well and feels smooth. The automatic transmission can slide over to manual and a nudge of the shift lever up or down changes the gear. This gives the car the clutch breaking of a standard transmission and I have used it on icy, snowy downhills when I don't want to brake a lot. At first, I used the sport setting on hills, but I've found it climbs as well on the normal setting. I got the Limited because I love the push button start (I'm a key loser) and the automatic headlights. I also like the vinyl seats which are easy to wipe clean. The technology features are helpful. For example, a yellow light appears on the side mirrors when a car is in your blindspot and, when you're in reverse there is a warning if something is about to pass behind. Pros Roomy. Decent back seats and plenty of storage area. Headlights and fog lights great on dark roads Smooth ride with good feel of the road Two memory settings for the drivers seat! I am 5'2" and everyone has to move my seat. My 6'2" husband is comfortable as a passenger. Cons Radio with Sirius is a touch screen- It takes a lot of attention off the road to change stations or settings and it's impossible to see if the sun is hitting it. Also there are no preset buttons for the radio. I can change preset stations (on the touch screen) from the steering wheel but I still have to look down too much to see what is on. Short back window so the rear wiper only cleans a small area. Overall I'm happy with the car. I haven't had problems with it so far.

After owning and loving my 2014 Prius for over a year and a half, I moved to a different location in Maine. I wasn't sure I would get the good treatment I was used to back in Connecticut. I was surprised the attention they gave me. They went above and beyond my expectations in tracking down my Maintenance Agreement so that I could continue getting the maintenance for which I had already paid. Staff was also very pleasant and courteous while doing that. The whole thing didn't cost me a dime.

I purchased a used car from them before. That deal was OK. It took several rounds of negotiation, but their sales manager, Tim, finally moved to an agreeable price. I went back to purchase a new vehicle from the same salesperson (who is nameless because he had his hands tied because of Tim, his manager). They had an MSRP $2,000 higher than any other dealer in the state AND while trying to negotiate Tim didn't even move the price down to what the dealer average was. To top it off Tim's trade in valuation of my vehicle was a scam. Their website allows you to get the value of your trade with an online tool which showed my vehicle was worth $10,200 to $11,500. Bear in mind.... my vehicle was in no accidents and only had typical wear and tear. Tim only offered me $8,000. It took and act of GOD in negotiations to get Tim to agree to $9,000. I was very disappointed that they tried to take advantage of a return customer. Very unprofessional. I will never go back as long as Tim is there.

The duress my elderly mother has gone through on behalf of the entire staff at Emerson Toyota is unspeakable. She has been continuously lied to and misled ever since day one. These people should be ashamed of themselves. They refused to give a car fax until after purchase of the vehicle at my expense of 39.99$. All they care about is making a profit. They could care less about the reputation they give themselves with their lies and deceit to the elderly. Shame shame. Wouldn't recommend to my biggest and worst enemy. No one deserves to go through the anguish they've put our family through. This vehicle was supposed to last my mom the rest of her driving career that she has left and all it's brought is the biggest stress no one deserves to endure all because no one here has done their job. Dispicable , unprofessional , decietful, lack responsibility and lack of ability to tell the truth. Do not buy from here. Mr Huntington has been the head of the lies and complete deceit we've endured.

I had been dreading the thought of having to go through the process of purchasing a new car because past experience has not always been great. Jared and the entire Emerson Toyota sales team were very helpful and knowledgeable about their products. I couldn't have asked for better service. I spoke with Jared on the phone on Monday morning and drove my new Toyota Corolla home that afternoon. First new vehicle I bought since my divorce. I knew what I wanted, had shopped other dealers in the Portland area and was not impressed. My boyfriend was in the area and stopped in. Knew I was looking for a 2014 Toyota Tundra Double cab. Spoke with salesman Chris L, got the figures and told me to give Chris a call. Thinking I had been priced out of the 5.7L V8 with all the goodies, I was shocked by the price. I gave Chris a call, still apprehensive because of prior games played by other dealers. Not this dealer! Chris and the team made this the easiest and nicest process possible. I am in heaven. I have the truck I wanted, in the color I wanted with all the accessories I wanted and a great price. Best experience ever. Paul Allard gave us the first no hassle, pleasant, simple and easy car sales experience in our lives from beginning to end. Paul was honest, low key, and straightforward. Everything we agreed upon was honored including a very, very good price for a new Prius. He patiently answered all of our questions. This car has brand new technology for us and we needed to get correct information - and we did. My wife also dealt with Paul on hers own and she was pleased to be treated better than she has ever been by any other sales rep in the past. There was no gender discrimination, something she has encountered far too much from other dealerships. To add to this, Paul took the initiative to get me out of a tough spot. When I took my wife to pick up the car I forgot to get her key for our old Toyota that we came in. I could not reach her cell phone so I was stuck. Without being asked to help, Paul used our VIN number to cut a new key -- without any charge -- allowing me to get on the road within a few minutes. Had I had to wait until my wife got to work to reach her that would have taken an hour just to find out there was a problem. It would have a meant a lost morning for both of us.I also spoke with Dan Caron in Finance. He was extremely helpful, sharp, well informed, and pleasant to deal with. There was no pressure, he just politely and patiently answered my questioned.Until now, I have never had such a good experience buying a car and I have bought several in my life. This was unprecedented both for myself and for my wife. I do not know if everyone else at Emerson Toyota in Auburn would have treated us so exceptionally well. I can say that from this one experience that I highly recommend this salesperson and dealership. They not only met but considerably exceeded my expectations. To be frank, I did not know this kind of experience was possible.

Everyone there seemed friendly, but thats how they are trained to sell cars. After driving off the lot with a broken cd player and Mr. Allard putting off the fix until after the warranty (30 measly days) expired, now 1 month past warranty expiration, I am finding myself with having to replace brakes, rotors, calipers, and I still have a broken cd player. They only detailed, cleaned, and put new tires on the car. They did not service, or replace ware items. Typically i would expect a dealership to fully service a vehicle prior to putting it back onto the lot. ( fluid changes, new rotors, pads and at least check the operation of the caliper-which two of mine are seized and now have to be replaced along with pads all around and new rotors.) Expect to drive off the lot and have to replace ware items.

These guys are the best at what they do! I called Dan Caron based on a referral from my friend and was immediately given five star service. I was asking for a deal that even the big dealers were not too excited about and Dan didn't hesitate one bit. He went to work, called me back a few minutes later and said we had a done deal. He put me in touch with Paul Allard who was attentive, listened and did exactly what I asked and responded to me exactly as he had promised. They didn't have the color I wanted in stock so they are even absorbing the expense of going to trade the truck for the one I really want. I live in Saco and can assure you that if their service department is half as good as their sales department I will not be doing my service at Prime down the road, I will definitely be making the trek to Auburn for my routine maintenence.Thanks guys! All of the employees at Emerson Toyota were very curtious, and extreamly helpful. The Sales associate we worked with was Mike Nadeau. He was honest, friendly and helpful. He wasn't pushy like some car salesmen, he gave my wife and I space to look at the vehicle without someone standing over our shoulders. We didnt feel at all pressured into buying from them, but because of the quality of the vehicle, the wonderful price, and the extreamly helpful employees we wanted to. We couldn't have gone to a better place for our New van. The staff at Emerson Toyota was very pleasant to deal with Especially Mike "Big Bird" Nadeau. Mike, met our needs in making this new vehicle purchase possible. He even entertained our two little kids while we were getting the financial side of things ready for us to start the paper work. He even held the baby so we had a free hand to sign with. We don't know of any other dealership that would do that for a customer. We purchased the car there via the internet, essentially sight unseen. When we went to get it, they let us take it home for the weekend, about an hour away, before signing any papers. The salesman (Ray Toutain) brought the papers to us at work a day or two later to sign, again ~1hr from the dealership. Whenever it needs regular service, we email Ray, our salesman and he sets up an appt with service for us, then he drives here (~1hour) to pick up the car in our driveway and leave us a loaner. Then he drives our car back a day or two later when it's done and we call in with a credit card to pay

Our experience at Emerson was amazing! We were on a mission to buy the right vehicle for our family. After a day of test driving vehicles from other dealerships, our last test drive was with Eric in a RAV4. He listened to our needs and knew exactly what we wanted in a vehicle. In no time at all, we were driving away with everything we wanted. We love our Rav4 and have recommended Eric to our friends who are looking to buy a new vehicle.

This dealership bent over backwards to find me the car that I wanted, going to another state to get the color that I asked for. I rated the "overall experience" as 4, only because I feel that the salesperson could have called me sooner on several occasions to keep me up to date on the status of the car.

Excellent value. Purchased late model Toyota Sienna, former lease. Car was exactly as described on phone. Very clean, low mileage, like brand new. I was referred to this dealer by AAA's Vehicle Purchasing Service (I highly recommend this service if you have AAA. They have pre-screened dealers and negotiated discounted prices for their members). Vinnie Goulette is a sales manager, and by phone he immediately offered me a very good no-haggle price, a better value than anything I had seen on the internet. Very friendly, quick, clean efficient transaction. The only sticky point was an additional $189 "document processing" charge that the dealer admitted was simply extra profit. To be fair, I was told of this fee in advance, but I was led to believe that it was for state fees. We ended up paying the extra fee because the sales price on the vehicle was so reasonable. I can highly recommend this dealer and would definitely purchase from them again in the future.
