We worked with Adam, Michael and Joe to purchase our 2016 Beetle Dune. Salesman and Sales Manager, Adam and Michael worked to provide information for us - over and above the usual car specs. We appreciated the fact that they were willing to pursue all avenues to provide us with our (likely) unusual equipment request! They were experienced and knowledgeable about VW products and the car buying environment. They treated us with courtesy and respect. We happily purchased our new car from Fields at what we thought was a fair price. We would like to mention Joe who stayed late to finish with the paperwork.... and service who made sure our new car was detailed before we drove home! Well, 10 days after I posted the comment in April, one of the GM's Tom Perry posted a reply apologizing and asked me to call or email him. I tried to email 2x and still have no reply. "Long story short, I made an offer on a used car, they accepted, I went to test drive it. When I got there that Saturday it is was raining and grey sky covered so the test drive was very short and any obvious defects in the car were not visible. I told them Id pick the car up on Monday because my credit union needed something from me and couldnt process till Monday. On Monday, I went after work to pick the car up. After being stuck in traffic 2.5 hrs because of a couple accidents on I-4 and it being already 1830, I just wanted to get in and out because I had got dropped off there and I had a drive back home to Orlando. Before leaving the salesman Andy and I were looking at the vehicle (now that we could see it in day light) and saw there was a huge gash in the sidewall of the front passenger side tire. Since the tires didnt match I figured I would just get two new matching tires to the rear two that were in good shape. I should have been thinking, what kind of inspections does your automotive shop do and is this not a concern or safety issue, after all there is a large flap of sidewall just hanging off? But I didnt think that way and was just thinking I was exhausted and wanted to go home. I got home dropped it at firestone to get the new tires put on, come to find they couldnt do an alignment because of the front strut and mount possibly being bent. Theyd have to take a closer look to determine. I called the dealer and spoke with Andy who then relayed the info to the sales manager. That person told him to tell me sorry, you bought it as is so they cant do anything for me. If I wanted to, he offered to have my car in the shop to inspect the strut and mount for an hourly labor charge. Needless to say this was the second and last car I buy from that dealership and any Fields for that matter. If thats the way they are going to inspect vehicles that obviously have safety concerns and treat repeat buyers, then I am out. So now 3 weeks later, I still dont have my car because its still being worked on and having issues with the suspension dealt with at the shop. The car fax print out they gave me showed nothing however they did not give me the e-version where I can click on the service record links. I am guessing this car did a Dukes of hazard somewhere and the person traded it in just because he knew it was badly damaged and didnt want a negative equity trade due to an accident. So much for their safety inspections they dont seem to look at tires.

We had never considered a Volkswagen, until we rented one. Very shocked at the low pricing for all the options you receive. Before returning the rental, we found ourselves purchasing one. Our salesman, David Diaz, is amazing. He does not have the intense personality that some salesman have, which allows you to get comfortable speaking with him. He actually takes the time to hear you, not just listen. He is knowledgeable about the products. I recommend his services to anyone that is looking to purchase. Michael Pollard was there as an additional contact. He is very knowledgeable also. This was the first time we purchased a car from a no-haggle dealership, and it was a little awkward for us. There definitely was no haggling, no matter how hard we tried (ha-ha). We still walked out feeling good about the price without the haggle. We are just impressed over the whole process and the people.

Do not buy a car here. The customer service is horrible. The lady had smart remarks and ridiculous facial expressions towards us for speaking out opinions on a car and the manager was even more ridiculous. Worst car place ever and been to many! Would never ever buy something from there. Beware! Once you walk in you feel like you're bothering them.

Took my new VW for driverside seat heating problem. Very unorganized and dysfunctional department and people. Left the car more than three days, and no one could tell me what was the diagnosis. Everyday stopped by to see if there was any diagnosis, well good luck finding anyone first, and then to no avail. The last statement on the third day was that their technicians wife was sick and he had to leave. Reminded me of the kids in school with excuses like my dog ate my homework. I have never dealt with such incompetent group of people. Finally on fourth day, took the car back and took it to another dealer and fixed it in less than an hour. Every new or used car will need service, so Buyer Beware. I do not know any thing about their sales department, but remember that in life of your car, you would have to deal with service department, not the sales. I would not even give them one star.

I really recommend this dealership. Since the first time I came in to the dealer, they all have good manners saying good afternoon. After that I was asking for someone who speak spanish who can help me because of my difficulties in english. Been very good the customer service. Even they gave me different options of cars and ending it with a great deal. Realmente recomiendo este concesionario. Desde la primera vez que entre al dealer, todos tienendo buenos modales diciendo buenas tardes. Luego que entro, pedi un empleado que hablara espanol que me pueda ayudar a causa de mis dificultades en Ingles. A estado muy bueno el servicio al cliente. You won't go wrong with this guy. I looked at a lot of cars and car dealers when shopping - from Tampa to Orlando to Jacksonville. This is what a great car buying experience can look like. I was brand new to Fields and VW, but from greeting to test drive to finding me the EXACT car I wanted, Dean was just terrific. He does what he says he will do - and you don't have to chase him to get him to do it. He was professional, gracious, and very knowledgeable about VW products. He took me on a great test drive, and then took care of getting just the car and color I wanted, even though he had to put in a significant amount of extra effort. There was none of the monkey business you run into at so many dealers. Mike Pollard, the Sales Manager and Chris Fellows in Finance could not have been nicer or more professional and I got a fair price. Dean even makes sure the pre-delivery detail is spot on, and if there are any missed spots, he gets it redone -- without you having to bring it up. Fields is big enough to have resources and reach, but small enough that you get some quality attention. I'd write more, but I'm having so much fun with my new Fields VW that I want to get back on the road!

He worked very hard to make sure that I stayed within my means, and didn't try to put in extras that I really didn't need to increase the cost. Dean contacted me 4 months prior to lease end of our 2013 Jetta, and noted a means of getting into a Passat Limited, for same as our current payments on our Jetta. We had good choices of vehicles and retained our current monthly payments with just a $500 down payment. Fields sent us a check to cover the 4 Jetta payments as well as taking the Jetta off our hands now.Dean was proactive, professional, and thorough on satisfying our requirements. I leased a car about a month ago. I reviewed the sales person who sold me the car, but failed to review the person who walked my salesperson through the steps. Dean Vasile was a large part of my car leasing experience. When I first walked into Fields VW I was greeted with a smile and a cheerful "Hello". When I asked a few questions up front, Dean was quick to respond. He knew who I was when I came in even though I had been approached originally by a woman on the phone asking me if I would come in and see about trading in my car as the dealership was in need of some good used Beetles. I arrived at the assigned time . Dean was very helpful but said he would allow the new employee Kyle to handle the trade/lease for me as he needed the experience, but Dean said he would stay close by to help through the process. I thought it was very nice of him to step aside for the new guy on the block and yet help the whole while. Hats off to Field's VW for their top notch employees and to Dean Vasile for his top notch customer service values.

Please HEED THE FOLLOWING STORY!! BEWARE OF THIS PLACE! HAD a 2011 Jetta TDI. Service department and management is the absolute worst in the industry. Because of this place will never ever buy another VW ever again. I had an issue with my coolant system since 50,000 miles (WITHIN WARRANTY) and have been repeatedly bringing my vehicle in for 20,000 miles in attempts to get it fixed. Water pump replaced 3 times, coolant turns black, had the system flushed twice, turned black again, then had a hose that was "definitely causing the problem" replaced. After having concerns that the root problem had still not been taken care of because I had still had my coolant light come on and had brought the vehicle in, but was told coolant was low due to air bubbles from the previous service and from "evaporation" (Uh...ITS A SEALED SYSTEM!!!). Well the worst has happened. The motor is finally now totaled due to an overheat. This service department claims that they performed the services as warranted, however, how can there be an issue with the vehicle for 20,000 miles consistently. Several times I was so fed up I brought it in without an appointment, was met at the door by the Service manager or one of the maintenance techs, and after showing them the concerns I had with, and continued to have, even after it was "fixed", I was handed a bottle of coolant and told to just "fill it up" once in a while when it got low. Spray patterns around the hood and the excessive leak, as well as the history of issues with the car, were dismissed as normal. This place does the bare minimum to say "they performed the service" and when everything finally falls apart, they blame the customer, in this case me, as having "definitely added an additive into the coolant to make it black, no other way". The Manager of the dealership has refused to work with me on this issue, even though my vehicle and service history clearly demonstrates a consistent issue with the vehicle. Dismissing the history of issues on the vehicle, they now maintain that it was my fault, and have even tried to contact another dealership where I had the problem "fixed" to try to cover themselves. Then claim another dealership corroborates their story, however I have an email from that same dealership stating 3 different reasons for these issues, none of which include any additive. I have been waiting for 3 weeks to get my service records to deal with VW corporate and been promised they would be emailed to me, however I have been hung out to dry. There is no accountability, no responsibility, and absolutely 0 customer service at this dealership. From other comments, I can see I'm not the only one that has had this experience. DO NOT BUY OR SERVICE YOUR CAR HERE!!

When I first came to the dealership to get my car it was a good experience. But from the time that I stepped off of that parking lot with my new VW Jetta it has been more than terrible. It took 5 months to get a permanent license tag on my vehicle. At first I got pulled over because my tag was not registered to any vehicle, then I got TWO temporary tags that expired for two weeks each and no one contacted me. I had to contact every person that worked there and they acted as if I was an inconvenience for them. I then had to pick up my permanent tag and license plate they had me go to the BMW dealership to pick it up. When I was on my way I called to let them know I was headed there and the two people that said they were going to help me were "off for the day" so they had to figure it out and get my stuff together which I had to wait for. Also I let them know how displeased and what a terrible experience it was, something that I have never had to deal with and no one had contacted me to apologize. Now because I lease my car from them I can not go to any other dealership. If there were any way for me to never step foot in that dealership again, I wouldn't. Unfortunately that is not possible for my situation. I will also be writing a letter to the head manager and director of the company.

Hard to have a 25 word minimum but I would just like to rate the service department as the worst ever. Never been treated so badly and talked to in such a manner from a service department. They didn't resolve any of my issues and waited for my car to go just out of warranty so they can tell me that they can't do anything even though the issue was brought up well before my warranty was out. Never buy a vw again! Too bad, because I loved that car.

My husband and I went in on Sunday to look at a beetle we saw online. I had a high mile Mural and still owed 6,000. They gave me 6,500 for my trade and lowered my car payments by $200 less per month. Diane was a pleasure to work with-no pressure and a down to Earth person. Chris had us done with papers in 30 minutes. This was the fastest easiest purchase of a vehicle ever!!! Maybe 1 hour max.

I had been looking to replace my Volvo C30 T5 (2009) after finally deciding I needed more interior room. The Volvo is a coupe with a tiny amount of space in the hatch. After exploring a number of different options, including a trip to Jacksonville, I saw a 2013 VW Tiguan.As I already had a written offer on my car from the J'ville dealer and found the Fields price acceptable, I thought things would go smoothly. No luck. While the client advisor was fine, negotiations quickly hit a snag. Rather than the $11,000 written estimate, Fields offered $9,500. I was ready to leave. The finance manager seemed to deny the honesty of my written estimate. When presented to him, he glanced at it and dismissively asked whether the written estimate was just printed from the Internet. I held my ground and after hours we agreed on a $10,800 trade-in. As I was to pay with a cashier's check and it was already after bank closing hours I assured them I would be back the next day with the check and to sign the paperwork. They said they required a $1,000 deposit. We agreed on a credit card charge to be refunded the next day. The credit card charge was made on 19 Feb.Returning the next day with the check and ready to sign the paperwork I was told that there would only be one key for the car and no front floor mats. While I knew of the latter, the former was a surprise. I then spent ten minutes at the part counter waiting to find the cost of the missing items. No one ever showed up.It is now Monday evening and after checking my credit card account I find that the $1000 charge has NOT been credited. I also checked their web site and see that my "$9,500" car is being sold for over $13,000 (actually $13,761).UPDATE. Today, 24 Feb 2015, I contacted Finance Manager: Fellows, about the $1000 charge. He says he needed my whole credit card number and would process the credit immediately. Evidently they never attempted a credit to my account. I am wary that they will. I have initiated the dispute process with my credit card company. Do not trust this company. If you go there consider bringing a lawyer. Never again.

I have never had such a pleasant experience buying a car. Diane Karel's service was exceptional. After speaking to her on the phone she agreed to show us a vehicle five minutes before they closed. When we arrived at the dealership, she already had it out front and ready for us to drive. She was very knowledgeable and hospitable. Then once we decided we wanted to purchase the vehicle she was amazing at helping us get a great price quickly. She even detailed the car herself! I had the most amazing car purchase experience ever. I was trying to trade my Mercedes with a either a 3-series BMW or a VW cc that I had found online. Our sales person, Diane Karel, was very helpful and provided us with the information we needed to find what we were looking for. Unlike other sales persons who are very pushy and try to make you buy the car you aren't interested, Diane was very patient and respected our decision. I love my new Passat! We had the unfortunate experience of having to trade the first new car we purchased,(because of a factory defect), for a second new car within 3 days. Dario Taranto went above & beyond anything we expected of him. He was with us throughout the whole process. Much gratitude to him. A shout out to Joshua for all his help in locating both cars. We were a little disappointed with the wait time of receiving the new one. There were to many delays even after the dealership had the car. We were also disappointed with the GM with Fields of Daytona. He was right in giving us the new car, but we feel that he didn't communicate with us in a timely manner. Also, the VW reps didn't seem to be in a hurry to get the job done for us. We understand that there are procedures that take time, but the GM should have made it happen quicker. We just purchased a Beetle convertible. Our sales associate was Diane Karel. She was so helpful, the trade-in value on our traded car was a little low, so we decided to put the purchase off and sell the car on our own and then decide if we wanted to buy the VW at that point in time. Diane had one of the associates pre-sell our car and got us a higher value, called us and we put the transaction together over the phone.Arriving the next morning, Diane took us through the trade in and purchase process. I hope this review will assist others in need of service. I had not been to a dealership for service since my 20's (51 now), concerned about the value for my money. Well, my experience with Mike Kennedy at Field's VW has turned me around. My AC wasn't working well. And my stereo Aux input stopped working. First impressions were great. The guy greeting me when I drove in was friendly. I was shown the way to a nice waiting area with drinks, snacks, etc. Wasn't long before Mike introduced himself, realized ownership of the vehicle had changed and updated it with my information. Considering I didn't have an appointment, he came back within a reasonable time and advised I needed a new compressor and could use anther couple services. I chose to have the AC fixed. Mike was really helpful in the billing some of the cost to my repair insurance. In the end, everything is working great, even the stereo! Mike was professional, courteous, friendly, and greeted me when I returned to pick up a roof rack from the Parts Dept (also a good experience with Pat, and matched an online VW discount). I look forward to coming back again.

I was on vocation from Canada in FL Palm Coast , and my keys got wet while on the beach. I called the dealer ship and Mr Micheal was on the other side. he gave me the number to call to get some one to get my car out of the beach, then when I arrived he informed that they can get new keys, but he said lets try to wait one night, as when they keys get dry they might work again. Next morning, when I got the call It was Micheal again. from his own personal cell phone, and he is like Sir, you car is working and ready for you to pick up.This by far was the highlight of my vocation. I had been considering trading in my gas guzzler for a few months. With the increase in premium gas prices over the last several months I began my search for a Diesel. How could I part with my beautiful sports car with all the pep and vigor that it provided my ego with? How could I become so practical? I mean diesels get between 40 to 45 mpg on the highways and I commute 100+ miles a day, do the math, I figured quickly how I could give myself a raise!!!!! Enter Dario Taranto!! I pulled into Fields Volkswagen Dealership and began searching the lot. I was greeted cheerfully and respectfully by Dario. He began inquiring my needs and what I was searching for in a vehicle. He presented to me both the Diesel Jetta and the Passat. The overall appearance and the feel of the Passat TDI SE was just what I was looking for and more! Dario explained the Turbo Engine that it possessed and how the acceleration that I had feared I would loose was something that would remain. He took time to explain all the features of steering ratio and suspension as well as the transmission and sleek aerodynamic design. The test drive was like none I had ever been given, it was more than a drive, it was an awakening! WOW! Really, a car this great and how many miles to a gallon do I get? Leave it to the Germans, so advanced and dependable, with all the right moves! A fair trade? Are you kidding me? These guys are Great! Dario assessed my Audi and I gave him a number. There was no haggling, no pressure, and the financial manager (Chris Fellows) met me just where I needed to be. They gave me a great price on both my trade and my new Diesel. I'm looking forward to returning to the Service Dept. to keep her in top shape, and continue the great relationship that has been established by Dario Taranto and the entire staff. I've been an owner of BMW, and Audi, and now the more practical advanced system PASSAT TDI SE that will always be "THE SMARTEST AND BEST FINANCIAL MOVE" I've ever made in my 40 years of buying cars, Thanks to DARIO! We were greeted by a very enthusiastic and energetic Sales Associate, Dario Taranto. He was extremely knowledgeable and answered all of our questions, taking us on demo rides in the Jetta TDI and the Passat Sedan. He made sure we experienced all the options of the vehicles on the demo and treated us respectfully and with humor on a very busy day (Memorial Day Weekend). Dario Taranto is an exceptional salesman. He made the purchase of a new vehicle a VERY pleasant experience. His test drive was unique; his test drive demonstrated all the features of the vehicle: acceleration, stopping distance, turning radius, electronics, etc. His initial greeting was warm, welcoming, and personal, which was completely opposite of the other dealers where the salesman were just waiting to jump at the 'next customer.' Dario answered every question asked, provided an extensive introduction to all the systems in the car, and provided excellent information on breaking in the car for the first 1,000 miles. I had the most exhilarating experience at Fields Volkswagen. I came into Fields about a week ago to look at another car, but it was already sold. I was kind of disappointed, but Dario showed me another car, 2011 VW CC certified car. He was also nice to offer to find the actual car I was looking for, but I declined. The CC was very nice but after the test drive, I decided to look around some more. Dario said, that I would be back for the CC. He did not hound me day after day like normal dealerships trying to get your business. We mostly communicated by email. After searching around Orlando area, I decided that this was the best deal overall. I called back Dario to set up a time to come and get my car on Saturday. I was greeted by him and Joshua, whom I met from the first time around in the dealership. They said they would take care of me, and that they did. I was very pleased with the service and overall professionalism. They were very upfront and honest about all their assessments and suggestions, which so far has turned out to be on the money. After settling on a fair price for the vehicle, I had the priviledge to meet Chris the finance manager. He found me a better deal, than my capital one pre approved deal. It was 40 dollars cheaper per month and a lower interest rate. Thanks a million Chris, and after talking with him I found out he used to work at Outback Steakhouse like me, in our past careers. It was an overall great experience and I would recommend them to other co workers, even though it's 60 miles away, it's worth the drive.

Late in January of 2014, I decided to trade me 2011 VW Jetta for a newer vehicle. Mr. Dario Taranto, one of the salesman at Fields VW, assisted me with evaluation of all models, and allowed ample time for my questions and test drives. When the decision on Model and type was made, there was not a car on the lot, at that time, that met my specifications. Mr. Taranto did much research among other dealers and finally learned that a car that would meet my specifications did exist in the Orlando area. He drove to Orlando, brought the car (2014 VW CC) to Daytona and asked for me to test drive the vehicle. Once satisfied that this was the car for me, Mr. Taranto worked with me on cost, extras, and a complete overview of the vehicle. I am very satisfied with the new 2014 CC.I would recommend Fields VW to anyone, especially if Dario were to be their salesman!

My son brought his 2012 VW GTI in for service on 04/15/14 complaining of a noisy water pump. He was greeted and taken care of by Service Advisor Mark Paine.The problem was diagnosed and the problem was fixed and his vehicle returned on 04/16/14.My son advised that the shop was very clean and he was able to watch the mechanics work.When he got his car back, the vehicle was washed as well.My son purchased this Volkswagen as his first car and in fact this is the first Volkswagen our family has ever owned.I am very impressed with the product that VW has made and even further impressed with the level and quality of service that he received at Fields Volkswagen in Daytona Beach.Please feel free to make this comment public as well as notifying Mark Paine and the mechanic who serviced his Volkswagen.

While on a visit to Florida the AC in my car stopped working. I located Fields VW as the closest dealership. I was able to bring in the car late in the afternoon and left it overnight. Two hours after I dropped the car off Ryan Landry contacted me and described the issue and said the car would be repaired first thing in the morning. By 10 AM Ryan informed me the car was ready, cleaned and waiting out front for me. The repairs were done right first time, Ryan went over all the details with me and the car was unbelievably clean. I wish this dealership was in my home town. Had a nice cool ride home. Highly recommend this team.

Fernando Smith was very helpful with my sale.Only took me 1 year to the month to decide on what car suited my personality. He was very patient. He explained everything in a clear and concise manner that my 88 year old mother clearly understood, taking the time to answer any questions she had..... and everyone stayed late after closing to help us.Chelsea, our salesperson, was a pleasure to deal with. She showed great patience with my mother, and explained everything in a manner that was easy to comprehend.Everyone at the dealership, from the General Manager down, was extremely polite and went out of their way to help us feel comfortable.I highly recommend Fields VW to anyone interested in buying a car at a fair price. It was a pleasurable experience.

What should have been the easiest Internet sale ever, turned into the worst experience I have ever had buying a car. After agreeing on a sale price, I tried to wire the money from my bank and the salesman (Fernando) sabotaged both the wire transfer and the draft while trying to pressure me into financing through them. This was after I had to wait for him to get back from his day off. Finally, When I travelled 4 hours to pick up the car, none of the paperwork was correct and I just had to walk away. I can't believe they didn't even try to work out the deal and make this right. From the phone operator to the Sales Manager, Chris Fellows, they are all worthless. Call them before you go just to get a tiny taste of what you are about to expierience.

After buying my first VW from Fields over a year ago, I decided it was time for a change. Although my original salesman was no longer with the department, I had high hopes that his replacement would be able to fix me up with the right new car. Inventory was rather poor, but they did have one of what I was looking for. Everyone was friendly and always have been, yet they seem to have an issue keeping customers in the sales department. All other VW dealers that I have gone to were willing to bend over backwards to get the right price so that I would buy. The best offer from the sales department was a mere $300 off of the MSRP on a $27,000 car. When I asked for it to be reviewed again, Roshanda (the new sales lady) simply said "that's as good as it gets". Needless to say, I walked out and will not be walking back in. The deal was the same with Fields Mini in Orlando. It seems that the owner of these establishments is concerned not with customer retention, but with making the quick buck off of a new sale. Sorry, there are better options down the road.
