I spoke with Hal Talbot this week (W/O 10/31/16) and expressed my concerns regarding the type of vehicle I was interested in purchasing. I explained how important it was for me to have a (7) passenger vehicle. Hal helped me find the right vehicle! He instructed me to complete my credit app online. I completed it that evening and the next day he had me approved for financing! Hal is awesome! I came in to pick up the vehicle today (11/5/16) and Steve Fogle help me with this awesome experience! The whole buying process of my new car has never been so easy. For someone who dreads the car buying process, this was truly a positive experience. A surprise breakdown of our old car on Tuesday led us to Fogg's for purchase of a new car the next day and an unexpectedly enjoyable experience with Steve Fogle who walked us through the process with good humor and expert knowledge of what we wanted. We picked out the "car of the year" with his help and even consumed two delicious cider donuts at his desk. Very happy with the car and the service and the conversation. Thanks Steve. And a special thanks to Chuck Fogg and John Fogg as well. Happy for the car and a bit sad to see it end.

I went there looking for a truck and found one i loved. They ran my credit and was at the point where I was told I needed a cosigner to have no down payment or I would pay 2000 dollars down. So I used the cosigner option the next afternoon they ran my dad's credit had him cosign on the truck. The next day I do my hour and fifteen minute drive to foggs all excited to get my truck and the salesman says to me I need 5000 dollars down? How does it go from 2000 without cosigner or nothing with a cosigner to 5000 down with a cosigner? Needless to say I drove over to state street and found multiple trucks I like so I'm considering taking my money elsewhere

Unexpectedly, we needed a new vehicle. This was unplanned for, we had heard of Foggs Automotive on the radio and stopped in to check it out. Sam spotted us from afar and introduced himself to us. He took us by the hand, which felt more comfortable than awkward. He helped us every step of the way. I have never been happier. My wife is finally speaking to me again and the children started behaving, they even started eating their broccoli. If you need a car, Sam is your man. You will never find a better salesperson. A week ago I was told that I would have a car on 5/13/16 as long as I provided X,Y,Z documents and had a specific down payment. I provided the documents and I had to call them each time only to remind them that they already HAD the docs. Friday came & went with nothing but a salesperson acting as if this was the 1st time we'd spoke! I physically drove there on Saturday to be told that now I required a co-signor because my score was too low (come to find out they had run my credit THREE times causing my score to drop to the point of needing a co-signor! Now I am scrambling, trying to find a car, while I borrow a friends to get to work and she borrows another family members car! I'm lucky to have someone who could help in this lurch the unprofessionals at Fogg's left me in!

After being turned down for financing by another dealer, we made the drive to Fogg's after hearing their radio commercial. It was most definitely worth the drive for us! Bernadette was absolutely fantastic to work with every step of the way. They respected the amount we gave that we were able to pay monthly for a vehicle, and the payment came in at the right amount. The car was a good price, all of the staff were so friendly and helpful, and we are very happy with our experience. We will definitely buy(and send friends and family) from Fogg's again!

I came into Fogg's intending to just look around and get some information about possible options for someone with mediocre at best credit. I only had a few hours to spare in a busy work week and was surprised at how much my sales rep was able to accomplish. As soon as I walked in sales rep Steve Fogle met me at the door and accommodated every question and personal misgiving I may of had about buying a vehicle. No pressure and ample information were just what I needed.The integrity and straight forward approach impressed me enough that before I knew it I was walking out with a much nicer vehicle than I had originally hoped for. I am very skeptical when it comes to shopping for a car because of previous problems at other dealerships. Ryan was very easy to work with and put me in a vehicle that was suitable for me and what I can afford. There was no over selling here at all.

After several trips to other car dealerships in the area, we checked out Fogg's for a car. Considering that there were some financing issues we didn't know what to expect, We were beyond pleasantly surprised with the process from start to finish. We did not experience the relentless pressure to BUY IT NOW! that we had dealt with at other dealerships. We requested to "think about it" over night and we were encouraged to. There was absolutely no pressure to make a quick decision. They found a car that was a fit for both out financial needs, reliability needs, and not once were were pressured to spend more than we could afford. The financing was smooth and any variations along the way were immediately disclosed. Other dealerships would tell us all was good to get us back in the door only to tell us the proposed payment was $100 more per month! We especially liked the "Fogg's For Life" program (oil changes, inspections, FREE etc). We highly recommend Sonia as a sales person. We will be looking for two more vehicles for our family in the near future and Fogg's will be our first stop.

Foggs ended up stripping out my oil pan plug because they over tightened and would not fix their mistake. My oil pan is leaking by the plug. They now want to charge me for their mistake. Never come back! Horrible dealership.

This hour long drive was a complete waste of time. I spoke with Amanda on the phone - she told me they didnt have the vehicle I was looking for but they could find it very quickly after I got all of my financing in order. She told me I had to go out there, So I arrived and sat down with Matt - He was very nice and helpful. Art on the other hand was rude and demeaning. I walked away from the terrible dealings at Foggs Automotive - And will never return. They told me my trade in was not possible, and it was.. They told me I could not afford the specifications that I had. I left Foggs Saturday afternoon and by Tuesday I drove home with my new truck from a REAL dealership.

I can't say enough about my experience at this dealership. I spoke with Amanda and read the other reviews and decided to take a chance. I'm so glad I did. Adam got me financed in record time. It was the second dealership I'd been to and compared to the first, Foggs really showed me what good salesmanship and great customer service is all about. They are really good people and do their best to get you what you want. I consider Adam my "angel" because I didn't even have to tell him what I was looking for. He brought my Ford Fusion up for me to see and said he felt it would be perfect for me. He was right. I got in and drove it and have to say it exceeded my expectations. Right down to the color. I got a better deal on it than what I was hoping for and the mileage is so that I don't even feel like I'm driving a used car. It feels great to finally have a car that I'm comfortable with and can afford and its all thanks to Foggs. If you are looking for a dealership that will be fair and honest with you and won't rip you off, this is the one.

I never expected to receive the downright friendly service from a car dealership than I received at Foggs Automotive. The salesperson, extremely friendly but professional, never "pushed". I told her what I was interested in and she genuinely helped to find several vehicles in the category I was looking for. And what is more important to me, is that I could take it for my own test-drive and to my own mechanic. What my mechanic noticed and what Foggs had mentioned was exact ! The moment I entered through the doors at Foggs, my husband and I were greeted and made us feel very welcome. My experience with my representative Adam Rodick, was phenomenal. We found the 2004 Toyota 4Runner that we later purchased from them on Autotrader.com and decided to go take a look at it. The sales associates were very helpful and answered any questions we had at all with the vehicle. We ended up trading in one of our other vehicles as well. They made all of the paperwork and everything else very easy to deal with. They also got us a great rate on the auto loan, and we were able to drive off the same day with the vehicle. Although I live some distance from Glenville, I was aware of Fogg's because, until I retired last year, worked at the nearby Schenectady Daily Gazette, where I had some indirect awareness of the dealership. When my Hyundai Elantra essentially gave up the ghost at 230.000 mi and I pretty much had to purchase another vehicle, I thought a Suzuki Crossover might meet my needs. Finding a one-year old Crossover with just under 6,000 miles on it, and aware of Fogg's solid reputation, the choice was really quite simple. I submitted an application back on 1-8-2013 through "Roadloans.com" who appears to be part of Santander Consumer which is a finance company based out of Texas. They preapproved me for $32,000 and referred me To Fogg's Automotive in Scotia NY as a "preferred dealer". Currently, I am in a open chapter 13 bankruptcy which is different because it does not discharge until the plan is paid off. In my case it's about 3 years left before I get a discharge. Santander Consumer, stated on their response that I would need a letter from my trustee allowing me to acquire a new vehicle loan. So the next day I received an email from Tricia Warren as well as a phone call that told me I was approved and to visit the dealer. I explicitly advised Tricia that I was in a open chapter 13 bankruptcy and she told me that they have a special finance department that is able to work with chapter 13 bankruptcy situations. So later that day I went in and supplied my pay stub along with a couple other required documents and selected a "ball park" amount to spend. I knew from the beginning that it would most likely take some time and not be that day that I would drive away which was fine. However, I learned at the dealer that they wanted to try with other finance companies to get a better APR. I questioned Lauren on what the pre approval meant from Santander Consumer and she said that "they are difficult to work with and if we can get you a better rate we would want to do that"..Santander set me at 15.5ish% APR which is good for someone in a open chapter 13 bankruptcy as some finance companies charge well over 20% on the APR. So in my opinion I didn't think they would be able to get under a 15% APR but I departed and waited until today 1/14/2013 for Lauren to call me and tell me that there is nothing they can do for me. So it was very much a waste of time for me to drive there and waste 2 hours of time to find out today that they can't do anything. What really ticks me off is this pre approval from Santander Consumer that referred me to Fogg's in the first place. I think that Fogg's needs to contact Roadloans.com and remove their name as a preferred dealer since they won't use Santander consumer. I did some research and found out that Santander Consumer charges a acquisition fee to the dealer that they can't charge the consumer for. So it's obvious why they wont use them. Understandable totally... But I sure would have appreciated knowing that from the start. I would have not wasted the time going to the dealer with a pre approval from Santander. This to me in a way is very embarrassing to go there and waste their time and mine. So it's very fair to say that this dealer can't finance someone like they say they can if you'r in a open chapter 13 bankruptcy and I would advise others in this situation to not waste their time. Additionally, not specifically to Fogg's but all dealers...In my opinion it would be easier with someone with bad credit to get financed on a auto loan so long as they are not in bankruptcy as to someone like me that is in a chapter 13 bankruptcy. I've seen people so irresponsible get auto loans with credit far far far worse then what I have. It's really stupid.

I detest car shopping. I did my research and found out what the fair market value should be for the vehicle I was looking for. I brought my wife and three year old to Fogg's to test drive a Dodge Journey that my wife had seen listed on there web sight. Adam greeted us and invited us inside. We asked if we could take a test drive and my wife liked the car. We thought the listed price of the car was high based off our research but wanted to keep our business local if possible. The vehicle had features we did not need and we had found other versions of the Journey cheeper. Adam started out the negotiations and dutifully tried to sell the car at the list price and talk financing and other options. The only option we were in there for was the Journey and the right price. Adam was very courteous and respected of the fact that I just wanted the final price. He even went on line to a web sight that lists all the available vehicles for sale with our specific criteria and there list prices to see where Fogg's pricing was compared to all the other dealers out there. Adam took that list, our target price and the fact that we would buy today from them and was able to make the sale happen. After a few counter offers our target price was met. After the sale was complete we procced to have a great experience with the finance specialist as well. Everyone at the dealership was very friendly. The deal was signed on a Saturday and Adam picked my wife up from our house to take her to the dealership to drive the car home on Monday. I can honestly say that this was the most pleasant car buying experience I have ever had and my wife and I would recommend Fogg's to any one looking to purchase a vehicle.

I walked out of my house last week to a flat tire and had to miss work. I knew I needed to find a reliable car, and fast. Minutes after filling out an online credit application I received a phone call from Lauren Del Zotto of Foggs Automotive & Suzuki and told that they would like to help me. My financial situation is not the best (to say the least). After meeting with her today I am smiling from ear to ear. Not only was I treated with the utmost kindness, respect, patience and professionalism, but the whole experience was very pleasant and put me immediately at ease. I am easily frustrated when it comes to dealing with financial situations but Ms. Del Zotto made the whole visit go quickly and painlessly from start to finish. I am very thankful that I found this car dealershi...it has been a true blessing and I am already recommending that my aunt go here for her car situation. I recently purchased a used car from Foggs, and it was a great experience! My father purchased a car several years ago from Foggs and was very impressed with the excellent customer service he received from Adam Rodick, and I am glad that I followed his advice! Adam was extremely helpful and the process was smooth and stress free. All of the employees were extremely friendly and not overbearing like most dealers. I highly recommend Adam and Foggs. I will definitely come back here for my next vehicle!

We have now bought 3 Suzukis from Foggs. Yes I know they will no longer be available but, we love these cars. Years ago we bought Geo Metros and they are a brand of Suzukis and we liked those cars but really love our SX4s.Adam was great! So was Dan. If we ever buy another car, which would probably my huband's car, we would not hesitate to visit Foggs and of course, Adam. (even though new Suzukis would no longer be available).

Visted Fogg lookiing for a particular auto. It had ben sold. Joe Thorne offered to alert me when another similar one was available. At my request I was given an inventory list to look over. I found what I thought to be an unusual opportunity to buy a low mileage auto at a low price. Joe Thorne brought the car inside so I could view it out of the rain. We then set up a test drive. At no time did Joe try to pressure me into a sale. He pointed out all the features of the car. I may not have been aware of these. Joe was an unusually personable man. The buying process was easy for me since Fogg took care of everything! (DMV, insurance, loan, etc.) I highly recommend both Fogg an especially dealing with Joe Thorne!

Joe was an exception salesman. From what I understand, he used to be a technician as well, so I was confident that the car I was buying was solid. He responded quickly to inquiries and was patient with me. I can't imagine buying a car from anyone else.

We live in Ohio and purchased the car from this New York dealer - they had the car we wanted and we were able to negotiate a fair price. Jennifer did everything possible to make this transaction smooth and easy for us. She always communicated quickly and professionally when we were negotiating and answered all our questions completely. When we arrived at the dealership, she had everything ready for us and took time to go over the car and all the paperwork carefully with us. We had visited and test drove a similar car close to where we live in Ohio and the experience was not comparable to our experience with Jennifer at Fogg's.We are enjoying our new Suzuki SX4 and are extremely glad that we bought it at Fogg's Suzuki. Recently I was in the process of looking at cars and deciding if it was the right time or not. I purchased a van from Foggs about 8 years ago and remembered the service I recevied. I went on the website to look at cars and to find out the gas mileage that the SX4 crossover got. I drive a Yaris and drive 90 miles a day so needed something small with good gas. I was thouroughly impressed when at 8pm at night I got an email from Tricia answering my question. It did not stop there, When i knew that crossover would not work she then asked what I was looking for and asked if she could keep an eye out for anything that came in that matched what I was looking for. Today I get an email with 2 cars that matched what I am looking for. Tricia did not need to do this but she did it anyway. This is tremendous service. I have decided that I will hold on to my yaris until it is paid off, but when it is, Foggs will be the first place I go to and will email Tricia at that time. Great service!!!Scott

I bought a car from this dealership a few months ago. While we were inspecting the car, my fiance noticed that there was a plug in the back tire. We asked about it and Jennifer said the car would be getting all new tires. In the excitement of buying the car, we neglected to double check and did not notice until about a month ago that the plug was still there. Instead of fixing the problem, they lied to me and sent me out with a cheap, unsafe plug. When I brought the car back for an oil change, I brought the problem to Jennifers attention, but she insists she only promised two new tires. In addition to the tire, the car is also missing its antenna so the radio barely works. I didnt notice at first because the dealership is in the middle of nowhere, so the poor reception didnt seem weird.Thirdly, I recently brought this car to another dealership to address a parts recall. The service people at this dealership informed me that the automatic transmission fluid, brake fluid, and the power steering fluid were all in poor condition. The car is an 09, and a top rated car, a Mazda 3, so I didnt think it was necessary to bring it to a mechanic prior to purchase, but I wish I had. I should have looked at this car MUCH more closely than I did; the car they sold me was not in the condition that it was represented to be in. I feel like I was taken advantage of and I would not recommend this dealer to anyone. I gave this dealer a low rating because they value their own bottom line over the safety, security, and satisfaction of their own customers.

I had a fantastic visit at Foggs. My aunt bought a car from here and loved it and i read the reviews and I must say they live up to all the good reviews. Adam was funny and friendly and he got me in my car with in a couple of hours. I will absolutely recommend Fogg's to all my family and friends. Fogg's was given the top rating because I came across Fogg's by filling out an on-line credit application, and I have to say, I was pleasantly surprised by my experience. I was not pressured to buy, as I was really only looking. Lauren was great, helpful, nice and I felt comfortable working and talking with her and that hasn't been my experience with sales people in the past. Tricia and Lauren delivered the car to my work which was awesome because I wasn't sure how I was going to get to the dealership to pick the car up. I have recommended Fogg's to my co-worker who mentioned she will be looking for a car shortly and I know my husband has mentioned Fogg's to one of his co-workers. It was the best experience buying a car I have ever had!

I have had a very hard two years. I was very ill for about 7 months in 2010 and I lost everything at that point. My job of 11 years, I am a RN. My house. My marriage and my car, I had a Honda Odyssey. I have had 3 used cars and made numerous repairs to them to keep them goingI have known I wanted a SX4 as a few family members have this vehicle and they love it.So I started putting out applications and Foggs had me in a car in 3 days. I couldnt be happier. Its a step in the right direction for me and willl help repair my credit, I finally have air conditioning again and its been very hot. Well, where do I start, A friend bought a Suzki sx4. I saw it after I had done my homework for a week and had already checked out a number of cars. It has alot of bells and whistles for the price. So, I went to Fogg' first and I was going to visit 2 suzuki dealerships to try and get the best trade price for my car and try to purchase a new sx4. Well, while I was at Fogg's I liked how I was being treated and I thought that I was being offered a fair deal. So, I decided that I didnt need to go to the other dealership. I would recommend that you go to Fogg's. Love my new car.

Great experience. Dan was very helpful and got me terms I am happy with. He made the whole experience very painless. Jim was nice and helpful. My only complaint was I only got a half tank of gas and I thought that was tacky. Even though it was used it was still a 25k car and I've never left a lot with anything other than a full tank. Also help setting up Bluetooth would have been nice.

Have dealt with Adam in the past and that was the main reason for returning to this dealership. He is an outstanding saleman providing valuable input to our decision. I was looking for a newer car as mine was deteriorating. I found Fogg's on Auto Trader. Iwent down that same day and saw the same car that I had seen on the internet.As I was looking at the van, Adam Rodick came out and asked if I needed help. I told him that I had seen the van on the internet and was very interested. Adam was very polite and not the pushy salesman that I had run into at other dealerships.I was very impressed with the way he made feel very comfortable and his knowledge. The day I came to pick up the van, he took me out and introduced me to the service dep't.Dan in financing was also very helpful in getting financing I needed. Dan was courteous and polite and worked very hard to get me into the new van.I would like to take this time to thank you all at Fogg's for my new van.

Adam was very professional in helping me purchase my 2007 Suzukie Sx4. I had done some research before actually going to the dealer, so I had some idea what I was getting and the combination of mileage and price couldn't be beat. Plus, when the car was having some troubles (there was a walnut stuck between the engine mounts and the body) the team was all very helpful and prompt in getting the necessary work done. Overall, it was an excellent experience for my first car-buying experience.

Tricia went above and beyond to help me with any questions I had and requests I had prior to visiting the dealership. It was over a two-hour drive for me, which I did because of the great price and Tricia's graciousness, and I am very happy with the purchase. When I got there, the office only had an hour or so before closing. They were able to get me a better rate than my local credit union and saved me a few dollars a month. I worked with Linda in sales who helped me along the way and she was kind enough to join me in the test drive and answer any questions.Thank you everyone at Fogg! I have known the Fogg family for close to 50 years. Took my cars to Chuck for repair back in the 50's. My kids and grand kids have bought cars from the dealership. They got me to check out the Suzuki's as we tow a car when we go to Florida. This is the third Grand Vitara we have owned. All bought from Foggs. Love the car and the service we get at Foggs. All the people I listed above are great to deal with.

Honest people, and extremely fair for the new vehicle and the price of my trade in. They matched me to my car in just a few hours and within 2 days I had my new vehicle. I can not say enough great things about Fogg's and Jennifer, Ed and Tricia. They were so nice and easy to work with, no pressure at all, and the best deal. I priced my car in 6 dealers and I can say no one was as courteous, or friendly or as honest as these 3 I have listed. I will never waste my time shopping around again, I will just motor on over to Fogg's and pick up my next vehicle. I bought a Suzuki SX4 Crossover and I have not had one bit of trouble with it at all. Best deal and best vehicle I have ever bought. If you not signing paper at Fogg's your not getting the best deal and service in the capital region!!!

My experiance with foggs was awesome. Adam was real fun to work with and a real good guy. I liked the fact that they trusted me enough to take the 2011 E 250 van out for a test drive all by my self. Adam said . " We close at 5 just be back by then ".The sales part of it went smooth and with out a hitch. Adam answered all my questions and always called me back. I am glad he was on the day I called to come and look at the van. I wound up buying the van and they had it ready for me the very next day, however I needed an extra day to empty my old van out to getready for my new 2011 Ford E- 250,and I got it at an awesome price.3000 dollars less than everyone elce. .Honorable wife and I have had many cars serviced at Fogg's over the last 15, maybe 20 years. VWs, a Subaru, Volvos, and a Chevy - all PM service, repairs (including engine replacement, transmission replacment, and at least two sets of tires - all handled quickly, expertly, and at a fair price.Today's visit was for 36,000 mile service on a Volvo wagon. As usual, it was easy to get a convenient appointment, I was in and out quicker than I expected, and the final bill was not a huge shock.Connie Ottaviano is an excellent Service Advisor. She is smart, knowledgeable, thorough and efficient. Connie is a terrific representative of a fine auto repair company..

Recently, I stopped in to the store looking to purchase a used vehicle. I had done some research on what I was interested in and there were a couple of cars in stock I wanted to take a look at. Joe greeted me and was extremely friendly and polite. He spoke to me like I was a real person and really made me feel comfortable. Honestly, every other dealer I had visited gave me the typical pressure-sales treatment and reminded me of why I don't enjoy buying new vehicles. Joe provided exactly the opposite and helped me realize that not every dealer is out to make a sale and then kick you to the curb. It was truly a great experience and I plan to do business with Fogg's in the future.

I went to Fogg's for summer tires. I worked with Anton and John to find a safe tire for a reasonable price. They were able to find the right tire with the right warranty and speed rating that was very competitive in pricing. The tires were mounted, balanced and when road tested, the tires were quiet and smooth.

Don't EVER go to Fogg's Auto. They are TERRIBLE. They couldn't answer any of my Q's correctly. Adam changed the price of the car he showed me three times. ZERO Customer Service. After my test drive, Adam turned around noticed we walked back in and acted like we weren't there until I bluntly walked up to him. I could tell that Adam had made up his mind during the test drive or before, not to sell to me. He told me no bank would finance the car because it's a 2002. I have found out by a VW dealer that, that is NOT TRUE. He also told me that the only way I am getting that car is to pay half of it upfront and finance the rest, only to turn around and tell me a few minutes later that the only way I am getting that beetle is to come in with a check for the complete $9000. Anyway, I am happy to say I got a better deal at Nemer VW on a NEW Beetle. They are beyond amazing to their customers.
