Eric K and Scott did a great job helping me find the right vehicle for my family. Eric picked some great cars for me to try before we even arrived and Scott had the patience of a saint as my husband, kids, and I tried and re-tried several cars. He helped us narrow our choice down as we each expressed what we liked and didn't like about each vehicle. The buying process went smoothly and we were quite pleased. Thank you!

We visited the dealership to investigate trading in our 2012 Higherlander for a smaller RAV4. We also have a 2015 Highlander which we like very much. Our interest was in downsizing one of the Highlanders for a RAV4.

Top notch service. The entire experience was enjoyable. I live in Nebraska and contacted Neal Shryock, who took a deposit on the vehicle in order to ensure it would in fact be there when I arrived after the 5 hour trip. It was, and just as advertised. Neal told me days before on my initial inquiry of the frame replacement that was performed there at Toyota of Pekin, and how the pictures really didnt do the truck justice. He was correct. I showed up with a check for the sticker price and drove away in my new pickup no more than an hour later.

I have bought 3 Camry Hybrids from Forts over the last 10 years with no issues on the first 2. The last one is a 2012 XLE Hybrid. About 6-9 months after I bought the car I started having issues with the automatic door locks not working. I brought it to the attention of the Service Dept and they noticed it but had not seen anything like it in the past. I was told to wait and see if there was a Service Bulletin or recall before asking to have them fixed. I trusted the Service Dept because they had never given me a reason to do so otherwise. Last year (after bringing it up about every trip in) they decided to do one door as a "Gesture of Good Will". The other 3 doors would cost me $400 per door. I have been trying to get them to fix the other 3 at no cost because if I had just asked to have them fixed while it was under warranty, I would not have this issue. This is was Fort's Toyota (and their District Manager) thinks of their loyal customers. They know we are in the market to buy another brand new car right now and going the extra mile is just not part of their strategy to retain customers.?

I discussed the options I wanted with the New Car Sales Manager, and a 2016 Tacoma was built to meet my needs. The truck was delivered to my satisfaction. The sales person went over the features, and answered all questions I had. The Finance Manager detailed the extended warranty, and the loan numbers. All in all, it was a GREAT experience, and I am EXTREMELY happy with my 2016 Toyota Tacoma.

We drove an hour to look at a used car and went home with a new one. The deal was better for us and they were great at putting it all together. I HIGHLY recommend this dealership. It was well worth the drive and we will definitely return when we're in the market again. Everyone here is helpful & friendly thank You!

I scheduled service on my 2015 Tab 4 online. Upon arriving the service writer told me to write down my name and address on a post it note. My arm was in a brace from finger to my upper arm! As I was trying to right she then told me that she could see my appointment. The two young women at the desk in the showroom kept turning up their rap music while dancing in their chairs. They also were discussing a person they thought had started and other inappropriate topics for a business. After I signed my receipt the woman turned and began a discussion with a fellow employee. There wad no thank you, bye or anything. This marks the third time that the dealership has disappointed me. When my lease is up I'LL look for a vehicle somewhere else.

Bought an '09. Promised it was a great truck. Found out two weeks later, the entire exhaust system was rusted out = $2000 in repairs. No one even cared to give me a heads up. Save yourself the $ and the headache. Place only furthers the stereotype about dealerships.

SALESMAN CALLED ME 9AM TO TELL ME ABOUT A JEEP THAT I HAD INQUIRED ABOUT. AFTER HE GAVE ME A LONG SALES PITCH ABOUT HOW GREAT OF A DEAL IT WAS I,TOLD HIM I WOULD TALK IT OVER AND CALL HIM BACK. I CALLED HIM BACK 10 MIN LATER AND TOLD HIM THAT I WAS COMING TO LOOK AT THE JEEP BUT IT WAS A 2.5 HOUR DRIVE.I ASKED NEAL WAS ANY ONE ELSE COMING TO LOOK AT IT AND HE SAID NO! i TOOK OFF FROM WORK EARLY DROVE HOME GOT 8500.00 CASH AND DROVE 2.5 HOURS TO SEE A JEEP THAT WAS SITTING IN THE FRONT ROW OF THE DEALERSHIP AND WAS INFORMED THAT THE JEEP WAS JUST SOLD! SO AFTER LOSING HALF A DAYS PAY AND 50.00 DOLLARS IN DIESEL FUEL ROUND TRIP,I DROVE BACK HOME WITH NOTHING , IM SORRY BUT IF YOUR GOING TO SELL ON THE NET YOU NEED TO KNOW THAT PEOPLE DONT JUST LIVE DOWN THE STREET AND YOU NEED TO TAKE THAT IN TO ACCOUNT. MY LAST WORDS TO NEAL WERE " IM ON MY WAY" I GUESS A MANS WORD MEANS NOTHING TO YOUR DEALERSHIP!!!

I had the privilege of working with one of your Service Advisors named Kevin Becker. I took my car in because of my low tire pressure light and when I was explaining things to Kevin, he REALLY listened to me. He did not just assume one of the tires needed filled (again) due to temperature, but instead he listened to what I told him and took it from there. I so appreciated his attention to details and how he made me feel....like a valued customer. I will be requesting him every time I need ANY thing done. We recently purchased a Camry from Fort's and it couldn't have been a better experience. We like the new Fast, Fair, Simple policy with no negotiating. Our salesperson, Shannon Hoffman was very knowledgeable and helpful throughout the process. The finance person was good to work with also and didn't try to sell us a bunch of add-ons. Free maintenance for 2 yrs/25,000 miles is a great deal as well. We bought another Camry there about 10 years ago and the experience was just okay or slightly negative. Things have greatly improved and we would highly recommend.

My husband and I drove 2 hours to buy a (used) car at Fort's and were by no means disappointed. The car looked exactly as it appeared online. Our sales person (Neil) was outstanding, friendly, matter of fact and straight forward. No high pressure and so was the financing dept. Overall an excellent experience and would highly recommend. We are very pleased with our car, we researched for over a month and Fort's by far had the best price/deal we found. VERY happy!

Had to get a key made. They cut it, synced it, did everything you have to do to it to make it work & got me in & out of there in no time. And for a lot less than everybody else wanted to charge me. They were professional in every way. They did not try to charge me for anything else. They did not try to talk me into anything else. I was amazed & speechless & I am seldom at a loss for words. I could not recommend these guys any more or rate them any higher! In fact, I drove 100 miles & past two other central Illinois dealerships because their ratings were so high...now I know why!If you want to deal w/ people whose word is their bond, who understand outstanding customer service-then accept no substitute. IF my wife needs anything for her Toyota I will be sending her to Fort's. Thanks to each & every Fort's employee who made my long trip & stress to replace this key such a "stress-free" experience. And Happy 2013 to all of you!

Since buying a Camry in 2003 and a Sienna in 2005 at Fort's Toyota in Pekin I have been able to rely on their service department for great care and attention. Appointments are quickly given and Kevin and Eric have been very helpful and pleasant to deal with. That is much appreciated.

I have taken my van there for all the service so far, and it has over 85,000 miles. The staff there always treats me respectfully. I am a woman, and I have a mechanical engineering degree and used to be a Powertrain design engineer for Caterpillar for many years. So I know when they are trying to bluff me to get extra costs. They have never done that! Unlike many other dealers; and I greatly appreciate it. The waiting area, especially the one for small children, is a HUGE plus for my family. My kids are actually excited to come along & get the oil changed. And disappointed when it's ready! That makes the trip easier on all of us. All of the service they have ever done for us has been very professional and will keep us coming back.

Probably the friendliest place to get you Toyota services in downstate Illinois. Chad and the rest of the folks at Pekin Toyota are great. I needed some work done on my car and was ready for the worst. Chad showed me what repairs were a priority and helped me do the essential repairs first. Thanks!!!!!

I took my Highlander Hybrid in for a 90,000 mile service. An unexpected problem turned up during the servicing. Not only was the problem solved but Fort's Toyota saved me money. This is the second time the service department has saved me money. All of the service employees are very knowledgable and take very good care of the customers. I will always buy from Fort's and use their service department. They are the best.

When my 2006 Highlander Hybrid wouldn't start unexpectedly, Eric was able to diagnose the possible reason over the phone. He was right and I was able to get it started with a jump. That probably sounds too simple but hybrid battery systems are a little more complex that usual. Cody ordered a new battery and Chad & the service department got it installed quickly. What I appreciated most was the respectful way I was treated - no condescension or attitude about not being able to change the battery myself. Sadly, that's not the case at every dealership. My husband and I used to be GM-only car buyers, until we were burned by them five years ago. We felt good about the deal Fort's gave us on this Highlander, and have been exceptionally pleased by them ever since. Our salesman Nick Armstrong (he's no longer there, unfortunately)was very knowledgeable, professional and honest. We were honest with the sales mgr Ben Weaver about the problems with our trade-in, but he made us a deal that was more than fair. We gladly return to Forts's for regular maintenance and have found their service dept. to be second to none. Love the service facility, too!

I came in to Fort's after going to three other dealers. I felt like they were the only dealer of the three that took me seriously because I didn't have my husband with me. They had the car I wanted, they gave me a fair price, and I bought the car. They were straight forward and easy to deal with.

I wanted a harder to find vehicle, they had it. I negotiated with them. They were really nice and helped me to get my car! I bought an '06 Prius with all the options (somewhat hard to find in this area.) Now I am about to contact them about purchasing a new car. This place just always seems to have the fully loaded models of what I want.

On 5/12/08 I traded a 2004 Ford Explorer at Forts Toyota of Pekin. The sales manager tested and discovered a possible problem with the AWD system and gave me a low trade-in value due to possible repairs needed. Both the sales manager and the salesman inquired more than once as to whether I had an extended warranty on the Explorer. I told the that I did and offered more than once to hold off on my trade and have the vehicle checked. I was told that it would not make a difference and that there was a list of people who would gladly purchase the highly sought after car I was buying if I did not wish to deal now. We traded as is. Ten days later Forts Stole $1267 of warranty work on my extended warranty at Uftring Auto mall using my name and personal information which voided the refund I was due on the unused portion of the warranty. States Attorney has yet to file charges on this felony. I did get my refund only after acquiring a copy (on my own) of the fraudulent invoice and sending a copy to Uftrings with a police officer. Forts response to me " Why should you care?" Why do I care? My name was used to deceive the warranty company and it immediately took over $500 out of my pocket. I would have ended up in jail if the tables were turned. Before anyone from Forts responds keep in mind I have documents including correspondence between Forts and Uftrings management and the office of the Illinois Attorney general.
