Two reasons. 1). No software upgrade after 6 years ago initial purchase. My PC has seen upgrade every week to improve the quality. Why Mitford?2). Your technician diagnolize issue not throughly. For example, my vehicle display turning off or on by itself (ex.hitting speed bump). It obsviously contact issue but I go info is entire displayneed be replaced. Without opening the dashboard to check connection,how can the conclusion is LCD is bad.

Being a widow and buying a car for the first time without a member of my family, I was grateful to Freehold Ford for the sincerity they extended to me. Jacki was a super sales person who took time to make sure I was satisfied with the Ford Escape. Having had it for 7 days and driving more than 700 miles, I am completely satisfied. BE WARNED: I can not stress enough how terrible this establishment is. I am young, and was shopping for a new car which I desperately needed. Considering my brother, mom & dad all have Ford's I decided to tag along knowing i'd get a reliable car. I have no complaints about the car, but I do promise the moment my lease is up, I will be moving on to a different company entirely because the process has been more than frustrating & just unbearable.I should have known when we walked in that this company lacked professionalism. I know from other dealerships that you usually get the attention of one person and the highest level of respect. Considering they were under construction I gave them the benefit of the doubt, but looking back the construction should of been a reason for them to impress me even more. Freehold Ford had me passed around to four different people, all of which had little patience and were just rude. In between those people I sat alone for approximately twenty to thirty minutes while they found someone else to assist me. Then I met Wally. This man is RUDE, NASTY and I can not stress enough how unenjoyable he made the process. Even when I went back to pick up my plates he had the same nasty attitude. I can not even imagine how he still has a job. Mike is the only decent employee, which ultimately led to my decision of leaving with the car. I feel I got entirely ripped off but this is more than just that, the lack customer service trumps the money spent. DO NOT give this business your time or money. You can find a luxury car with NICE representatives to work with for the same amount of money that Ford will over charge you for. Trust me, I did a lot of research after the fact that I wish I would have done prior to walking into Freehold Ford.

Got a call from a salesman in training (I won't name him), saying that my 2010 Taurus was ripe for a trade-in. I was looking anyway so I stopped by after work on Friday. His supervisor (I am not going to use his name) took over. I had a nice test ride in a 2014 Explorer and indicated interest. Since it was a "Certified Preowned car, we do this and that... and put new tires on it" says the supervisor. We agreed on a price and a trade-in value for my car. Upon agreement, he gathers up the paperwork and with a wink says to his trainee, "And that is how it is done..." When I went in back to sign the paperwork, I discovered that he had slipped in a maintenance plan that I didn't ask for. It was late and everyone had left so I just took the car home, where I could review the documents. That weekend, I discovered that the mileage on the paperwork said 21,000 but the odometer read 24,000 (a 15% difference!). I then discovered that the tires were not new. I returned to cancel the maintenance plan the following week and told the manager of the mileage and tires issue. "What do you expect me to do?" was his response. Since the mileage issue was a legal one, he changed the paperwork but would not agree to any refund or remedy. In fact, another manager complained that they paid too much money for my trade-in anyway. I could have gone to small claims court for a refund or other compensation due to the misrepresentation of the mileage (probably just sloppiness), as well as the deliberate lie told to me by the salesman. His response to me when I came back to fix the paperwork was "Well, they were 'like new.'" Instead of dealing with these folks in court, I have decided to put this before the court of public opinion. I am a past commander of a large, local American Legion post and can assure you that I have a vast network of friends and fellow veterans here in NJ. I am also a NJ salesman for the last 35 years and I still call on hundreds and hundreds of companies all over the state. You can bet this is a story I have told many times.

I recently leased a 2017 Ford Fusion SE from Freehold Ford and was very pleased with my Sales Consultant, Mike Goldstein. He was very helpful in assisting me to select the Fusion from the lot that met my requirements for functionality and price. Mike was a true professional from the moment I met him. He explained all the vehicle functions to me so I understood them properly and hooked up my cell phone to the vehicle's audio system utilizing the "Do Not Disturb" feature as I didn't want to have my phone distracting me with incoming calls as I was driving. Hence, this was a example of how Mike went above and beyond to listen to my needs and help me with the available technology. Moreover, when I noticed a small ding on the passenger side door, he told me not to be concerned as the Dealership has an auto body expert that comes on Thursdays to fix this very thing. Next, Mike set me up with a loaner car that Wednesday evening so my vehicle would be detailed the next day so I didn't have to come back to get it fixed. Finally, when I arrived to pick up my new car on Thursday, Mike again made sure he went over the vehicle functions with me so that I felt comfortable with the car before driving home. The detailing was perfectly done so you would never have known there was a ding. I have been leasing Cadillac for over 17 years, and I was very impressed with this Dealership that is Freehold Ford. I can truly say that I feel like I am still receiving the same excellent service I have received at my Cadillac Dealership...from Sales to Service. Freehold Ford is an exceedingly awesome dealership. In addition, my husband has had two Ford Mustangs that he purchased from two different Ford Dealerships and the service doesn't compare to Freehold Ford. I love the car, a 2016 Fusion Hybrid. I actually was planning on a Toyota Prius, but wanted to see how the Fusion handled. So I came in, took one for a test drive. It's a great car. Mike Z and Paul are great! Calm, easy-going, relaxed - not typical car salesmen. The only "selling" Mike did was ask, "Well, if you like the car, why not buy it?" They offered me the car at a good price. And gave me a great deal on my old car, an old Taurus. Made a sweet deal even sweeter.

This is the 3rd car I've bought from Freehold Ford and the second with Kristine who was my sales person. She is friendly and willing to work with you. After test driving a couple of different models I chose the 2017 Ford Escape - when I got there to buy the car it was already waiting for me. I went to Freehold Ford to purchase an Explorer that was CPO. I don't care for the new ones. My salesman, Greg Battaglia, wanted to sell me a white one but I fell in love with the one next to it with the black sparkly paint job, LOL! The sale went smoothly, Greg was very personable and did a great job considering all of the sarcasm he had to deal from with me, LOL! I am now the hopefully proud owner of a 2014 Explorer XLT 4WD. My salesman Greg Battaglia made the process as painless as possible. I had decided on an Explorer XLT, used with a certified Pre owned warranty. They didn't have the one advertised, Greg had a white one for me but I didn't want white. I fell in love with the black sparkly one next to the white one and that's the one I now own. The power lift gate is so good for me. Greg made the deal go smoothly and as quickly as possible. I really love the vehicle! my husband and his sister had bought Mustangs back in 1989 from Freehold Ford and my husband always recommended them and their service department. Came in for regular service. Car came out with a new right front noise at low speeds. I was forewarned by service manager this would be the case, but I think the rotation of the tires is the underlying cause. One tire should never be on right front. Not sure why they did not observe that.

I just recently purchased a new Ford Explorer and at first I was skeptical about purchasing a Ford due to me driving only Hondas before, but Mike Z helped through the whole experience and answered all my questions. I went to Freehold Ford thinking I was just looking at the 2016 Escape. I drove home in my very first brand new car. Kristine Terwilliger was the best salesperson I could have asked for. She was patient, walked me through all of the options, and was able to get me the car I wanted for a price I could afford. Even though it was a Friday night, I didn't feel rushed or pressured in any way. Everyone at the dealership was so supportive and friendly, I really can't say enough good things. I would absolutely recommend Freehold Ford to all of my friends and family.

Jim Koslowski is top notch. We have been coming here for over 8 years. The team is friendly, funny and will engage with small talk to pass the time. Went Saturday, had pretty much made my deal over the phone as they know my wife and I that well, got there, the new F150 was ready to go. Had to wait a bit to finish up due to the place being swamped but Jim went out of his way to make my wife and 2 boys comfortable during the wait. We don't even talk to other dealers as we know they are no nonsense, no pressure, none of the usual sales tactics that will send me running out of a dealer. These guys are the best. When i go in for service i usually hang with the sales staff and BS. And they throw in Kenny Blair for extra comedy prowess.

Went to pick up my plates for my ford escape and while I was there I had a question regarding a light on my dashboard. Jackie immediately went outside to try to figure out what was wrong with my truck. When she could not figure out what the light was she had someone else look at it. Then Julio came out and checked it out.. It turned out to be my alarm system.. I have to thank Jackie, Julio and everyone else who looked at my truck and figured out what the problem was.. I went into Freehold Ford last week on a bitterly cold night and was greeted by Greg Battaglia . I was trading in a jeep and interested in an Explorer and had a lot of questions. We went for test drives and he answered every question with ease that I had about the car. He was pleasant, never rushed me and showed me several options for my budget. I went back the following morning and we finalized the sale, again taking test drives before I made the final decision. Everyone at the dealership was good to deal with, no one rushed me, and Greg explained all the workings of the car. I was just stopping in, for a repair on my 2009 ford suv on Tuesday and by late Tuesday morning walking out buying a new 2016 escape... I enjoyed working with Greg Battaglia and Nick Retroff. Weather it's Jim from sales, Mike from service or Perry from autobody, I am always treated with courtesy, professionalism and genuine friendliness. My BOSS 302 and Edge have never had any major issues and if there was any minor issue, it was addressed with prompt response and care. I realized for my needs that I needed something bigger but didn't want a SUV we ended up getting a fusion with heated leather seats and a roof. After being recommending by a friend, I was greeted by a young sales representative named John Blair who showed me a few 2016 fusions and i eventually bought one. He helped me with setting up the bluetooth, showed me voice commands and other great features with his own ford touch. This is my second Ford Escape and I was going to look at other makes, but once I got into Freehold Ford I changed my mind and came home with a beautiful red Escape!! Cystal, my dealer is the sweetest person and I could not say no to her. I've had nothing but great dealings with Freehold Ford. Ford Fusion 2016. Staff was helpful and service professional . But... I had a Honda and Nissan before, usually after every service they returned my car cleaned and washed, which is nice , also their waiting area always had an option with coffee and tea varieties and FREE bagels with butter and creamcheese and donuts , morning time. Also didn't find around any waiting child play area or zone... ????

I recently purchased a Ford Flex from this dealer. My experience was very good. They were reasonable in negotiating a mutually acceptable deal. They were very professional. The vehicle was ready when I arrived even though I had not purchased it yet. I generally rate buying a car just below root canal in terms of present experiences. I had already visited two (non-Ford) dealerships and had been told that I really didn't want the options that I was looking for and made to feel that I was in general unreasonable (mind you, I made it clear that I was paying cash and not expecting much on a trade-in)I moved my quest to the Internet and found that the Ford line seemed to have the options that I was looking for. The website directed me to Freehold Ford and I must say that the experience was very positive. Everyone that I dealt with knew the product lines, took time to understand what I was looking for and to make sure that I ended up with the right vehicle at the right price. Even though we had to wait for the specific vehicle to arrive from another location, I drove away in about three hours, knowing how the vehicle worked and that the dealership staff would be available to me for any assistance that I might need.

Jim K. made my 2016 Focus ST purchase easy and comforting. I never felt any undue sales pressure, I was allowed a more than ample test drive, and as a result, I decided to buy. I got an excellent price offer right away which told me that I was at a dealer that treated more as a longtime friend than a customer. When my car arrived, Jim again spent a lot of time with me giving me a thorough run-down on how things work & setting up my Bluetooth.The ST is a blast to drive and handles like a dream. Just bought a ford escape. We are happy so far with the buying process and the friendlyness of the staff. Our sales person was Yvonne Cambell Bermudez. She was so patient with me even tho I am quite difficult to please. She had alit of knowledge of the brand and didn't Rush is through any of the details .the manage Dimitri was also very nice. We are on a budget so he was very good with making the price work for us. So far the car is good. Has a lot of upgrades .the gas mileage isn't that good but it sure is a nice crossover.

I only go to Freehold Ford. That is where I bought my last two vehicles, and will buy my future Ford vehicle. The service department is great. They know me, they know my vehicle, and they treat me like family. They are always on time. My vehicle is finished at the time they say it will be finished. They check the things that you forget to check. I have been buying Explorers since 1984. I have never traded one in because when I need a new one, I hand the old one down to family member.........and it proceeds to go on and on. My 13 yr old Ford Van was finally dying, so I called Mike in the service dept. He connected me with Jim K in sales. Jim was very friendly, knowledgeable and patient. I do have a current issue with the car which I took to a dealer closer to me for convience. I received a report which I was no to happy with so I called freehold and spoke to Mike Goldstein which was very helpful to guide me in the right direction and set me up with Reno DiCecilia which then told me to bring my car right over without an appointment. The issue is still in resolved which Mr. DiCecilia was kind enough to set up another appt with a loaner car so I don't have to miss work. So hopefully next week this will all been taken care of. 2014 5.0 Mustang, In for 30,000 miles service. the service was prompt accurate and easy. I really like the car my only complaint is Pirelli Tires wore out too fast. Under 30,000 miles rotated at your service department and wear indicators are showing on all 4 tires. Expensive tires not worth the money, looking for replacements always had good wear life with Michelins.

My car was in your service department several times for a transmission problem. The Tech. spent several hours on and off the clock trying to fix my car. In the end the car was fixed, but I am near the end of my lease and do not want to take a chance breaking down again with the Fusion. So I turned the car In. All 3 service writers and Joe P. the technician took good care of me.

This is the second car in a row I have leased through Freehold Ford. Both of them Ford Escape's top of the line titanium model. I loved my first one which was the first year of the new model. So far the 2016 model is even better. I like the redesigned front of the car and the new SYNCH system is great and the navigation seems to work better than the old system. I have worked with Crystal Treadway both times. I will always lease/purchase through her as long as she is at this dealership. She has a very easy way about her and you don't feel like you are being pressured into purchasing anything. There is no one else I would like to deal with there.

We were greeted immediately upon entering the dealership. We explained what we were looking for and went to the lot to view the inventory. We test drove the eventual car that we bought. The salesman, Jim Kozlowski was knowledgeable and had all the time we required to answer our questions.We left to think about our decision and returned to purchase the car. After hastily purchasing a car late Thursday night I realized Friday morning that I had not thought things out and got the wrong car. After calling Yvonne, my very amiable salesperson, I was assured that everything would be ok. I came back in to see the manager, Wally and he was unbelievably patient with me. He allowed me ample access to each and every car on the lot and made sure I left with the perfect car for me. Everyone there treated me and my son like family and I will definitely be returning!

Freehold Ford is the only Ford dealer I will by a car from! My salesperson Kristine, and Ford manager, Ken, were a pleasure to deal with. Unlike many other dealerships I have dealt with, both Ford and GM dealers, Kristine and Ken were very honest and upfront. No gimmicks, no pushiness or lies. They answered all my questions immediately and made the transaction of my Ford Escape in a very quick and pleasant manner. When we walked into the dealership I was pretty upfront with our sales person Christine that buying a car was akin to root canal. I hate the typical process. Six hours of haggling, back and forth with managers is not my idea of a great afternoon. I felt entirely the opposite after dealing with the folks a Freehold Ford. I look forward to dealing with them again in a few years when it's time to trade in again.

Internet dept gave me lots of info on pricing options before I went to the showroom including decoupling one feature (heated seats) from a more-expensive options package. Laura (sales rep) answered all our questions and generally made the transaction a very friendly but business-like experience. Had the impression that we were getting straight answers. We leased an Escape with the few options we needed; and had no heavy up-sell pressure. Overall transaction at this dealership was very smooth and professional. I think I got a decent deal, including being informed of a win-back promotion that ended up saving me some money. Id recommend Laura and Freehold Ford to anybody in the market for a car. Id been to 4 other dealers (different manufacturers) and then went to FF. Ended up buying the same day. Felt much more comfortable here. Have 4 cars in the family and weve bought/leased maybe 15 from various area dealers in past decade or so. Very good experience with Laura at Freehold Ford.

I cant say enough at how this made us feel after being made to feel like garbage at the other dealership, the staff was like a breath of fresh air that showed that they really wanted to make our car purchase happen. Laura Lai and Yvonne Bermudez were extremely friendly and helpful when I went in to lease a 2015 Ford Fusion. They made the day a lot less stressful then it could have been, and I was able to get the best car for the cheapest price compared to other dealerships I visited including; Honda, Toyota, Nissan, and Hyundai. If anyone is interested in purchasing a new vehicle from Ford, I recommend visiting this dealership and requesting either Laura or Yvonne for assistance when you walk through the door. It was worth it to go back to Freehold Ford. My 2012 Fusion lease just expired. I really like the car and decided to check out another at Freehold Ford. I met with a very lovely salesperson, Yvonne Cabell Bermudez. Her explanation of safety features and advantages of purchasing a Fusion was excellent. Negotiations were made fairly easy with the sales manager, and I drove away with a car I wanted and the price I wanted. Definitely would recommend you see Yvonne.

My lease on my 2012 Fusion has expired. Decided I really like the service I got from the car and from the service manager at Freehold Ford. My wife and I stopped in just to look on Sat. March 28th. No intentions of buying that day. We walked around the car lot and amazingly we were not swamped by aggressive car sales people.Even when we walked into the showroom, no one pounced on us. Finally, a very nice young man, Mike Z asked us if he could help us. I guess the rest is history, as they say. We purchased a new Ford Edge, great vehicle, and Mike was easy to work with. He did not pressure us, and helped us select the best value for the money. Took the time to let us drive and look over several vehicles. Even his Manager Dimitri was low key in his "closing" approach and did not use any high pressure tactics. All in all, a great experience from a "Jersey" dealer, we are from the Midwest and didn't know what to expect. Our salesperson, Joe Ventura, was extremely knowledgeable with all of the Fords. We couldn't choose between two models, and he helped us narrow our decision by explaining all of the different features. His knowledge of all the equipment in each model was extremely helpful. Working with Kristine was truly amazing! She was on top of everything 110%. Kristine helped me pin point the right vehicle that met my wants but also met my budget without being pushy at all. I was updated throughout the week of expected arrival dates of the truck that my vehicle was on, and always felt in the loop. Freehold Ford, great experience, no high pressure sale pitch, just a outstanding young man doing a outstanding job sell a car. Joseph Ventura, has to be the best experience talking to a salesman in many years, and I have been through a lot of them. Joe ,was interested in what I wanted not what other salesman that I have experienced. This was one of my main reason on buying from Joe and Freehold Ford. I'm now a proud owner of a Great Looking Ford Explorer, and haven't been back to fords since I was eighteen. Glad I talked to Joesph Ventura!

Well to put in in a few words I haven't been an owner of a Ford since I was 18 years old, now 68. I am a very happy owner of a Ford Explore. Thanks to Joseph Ventura, He was a salesman that knew his job and did an outstanding job to convince me it was time to return home to a Ford. No big sale pitch, just plan fax's. Going to Ford in Freehold was a great experience. To be honest the day I went into the dealership, I was not expecting to buy a car, but with the way they treated me and helped me out, there was no way I could say no. They had such a great deal and was able to get me to a comfortable spot. I ended up leasing the car of my dreams, and I am more then happy with my decision. I dread having to buy a car. It took me 8 months of deciding what kind of car to buy and perusing price and inventory locally before I went to Freehold Ford. I was very happy with my experience there and so far am very happy with the car I bought. I went to buy a new Ford Escape but ended up buying a used Ford Edge which was a much better deal and a lot of car for the money.I recommend the car dealership for making the process a lot easier.

I walked into Freehold Ford with my two small children with the intention to just "take a look" at the 2015 Ford Explorer and see if it was affordable for me.
