Made an appointment over a month ago. Guy said you could come in to drop your car off and we will look at it when we can or make an appointment so you won't have to wait all day. I come in, and I'm not in the system. Sure they'll look at your car but you have to leave it overnight. No shuttle, no enterprise or anything on site. First impression of this place... I won't be buying anything from them, they are too disorganized.

My wife and I drove over an hour to come look at a used car this past weekend. I spoke to one of the used car salesmen about this vehicle before making the trip. All he did was rave about how nice of a car it was, how clean it was and how it was the sales managers demo. I guess these guys don't actually look at or know anything about the used cars they are selling. This suv was a 2015 with only 27000 miles however with the amount of wear and tear this vehicle had, one would have thought the odometer was well over 100000 miles. Needless to say, it was a total waste of time and I will never visit this dealership again.

Everytime I've either talked to them over the phone or in person they have been awesome to work with. They even washed my vehicle after it was flashed which I thought was very cool. For now on I will take my cars to them for all my oil changes ect. Thanks again service department you guys rock.

Never have to worry when car has to go in for service, service is always done in a timely manor and they wash car when service is complete. It's the little things like that that sets their service department apart from FCA and GMI currently also have a new FCA vehicle and they charge for car wash if you want it done after service. ;-(

I can say I didn't appreciate the young man who met me as I pulled into the service bay. He was immediately in my window asking what he could do for me. I have a great relationship with Corey and would much rather have spoken with him. The young man brought me my invoice and told me I should go to the payment window to pickup my vehicle. Your service people have established working relationships and I will really miss that if this is the new "norm."

Al Liperato is the best. We started our search for a new F-150 to replace our 2003 F-150 with 190,000 miles in October 2014. Several chances came and went but Al stuck by us keeping us aware of pricing, availability, etc. Had it not been for Al's help we probably would still be looking.

The first time my C-Max Hybrid was in for service (the battery died three weeks after I bought the car), the technicians left my car a greasy mess. I complained and received a very nice apology from the dealership. My battery died again, and the service was very prompt. The technician explained that unaddressed updates - from June - had drained the battery. I asked how I can know about updates to prevent them from draining yet another battery. He said there's no way for me to tell. I asked why the updates weren't addressed either of the times I'd had the car in for service since June. He said, "We don't check updates unless there is a problem." And yet, other owners of Ford hybrids do not have this problem. Why? Because the service technicians think it's important to PREVENT problems and routinely check to see about updates when the cars are brought in. In all fairness, they did deliver the car to me (with prompting), however, Friendly Ford "service" is a joke. A very bad joke. Won't be back unless Ford Roadside Assistance tows me there the next time the battery dies because updates are not addressed until there's a problem.

My salesperson, Larry Middleton was wonderful. I live a good half hour plus from the dealership so he helped me negotiate the terms over the phone and internet. Also, there were some specific items I wanted on the vehicle and he searched other dealers to find a car in order to make sure I had everything I wanted. The closing went smooth as well.

I went to this dealership with buying a Ford Edge in mind I had my F150 appraised for a trade in and was happy with the price so I decided to move forward. The Edge with the options and color we wanted was not available at Friendlys so our salesman Mike Drake said that he would be able to do a dealer trade and get us one. We left the dealership and Mike said he would call when he got some news. Three days passed and I did not hear anything from Mike. I called and left a message and he got back to me a day later and said he had not heard anything yet but would call as soon as he heard something. It has now been three weeks and he has never called we ended up going to Chevy and getting an Equinox. I have bought vehicles previously with them and had no problems but my experience with Mike Drake will keep me from using this dealership or encouraging anyone else to do so. Mike Drake had terrible customer service.

I have been Happy with follow-ups with my sales person and I use the service department for all my mechanical issues, not only for my 2014 F150, but my 2015 Lincoln. So far only a front door speaker replacement, oil changes and Tire Rotations. Ford Cars and Trucks have served me very well over the last 50 years. Through my Hot Rod years and now my comfort years.

Truck there 2 1/2 days for CO2 sensor on a 2012 F350.Cost for small device and service over $ 500.Truck is great, only problems have been with emission systems. 50 mph limit when you have distance to go for a meeting is unexceptable!May have to review other truck companies performances on my next truck purchase....which maybe coming soon.

THE speed and totality of the service I recieve at your dealership, makes me glad to travel this far for this. I took my truck to friendly ford to have a transmission sensor replaced and an exhaust manifold leak repaired. It took them OVER 3 WEEKS to fix it. Recently the exhaust started leaking again and i noticed that an exhaust manifold bold was missing. I took it back to them and they told me to come back the following day which i did. Then they told me to come back the follwing week , so i did. Again i was told to come back the next day, and i did. Finally they were able to talk to me about the problem. First they asked me if it was broken off or if it fell out. I told them it fell out. They asked me the mileage and then they told me it was out of warranty by 3000 miles,and i would have to pay for an inspection, parts and labor. First of all, manifold bolts dont just fall out, unless they are installed wrong. And second, why would i pay anyone to do a job that they couldn't do right the first time? They could have easily told me this the first time i was there and it would have saved me a lot of time and a lot of gas. I would have been happy if they had just given me the bolt and let me fix it myself.

Made an appointment for Friday, July 24, on the previous Monday. Received a call the next morning to come in on Friday at any time-first come first served-appointment was for 10:00am arrived 20 minutes early and was taken right away. I was informed exactly how much time the service would take-asked if I was staying or needed a ride home, and went into the waiting area. One of the employees came in and told me my car was done and would be washed before I picked it up. Very satisfied with the staff and the availability of wi-fi.

My sales person (Al Liparato) was amazing to work with and was extremely helpful. He quoted a lot of different vehicles and mileage options to find the exact right fit for me. He was flexible with meeting times and was very timely with responses and setting up test drives for me. I'm 150% satisfied with him and will go to him for future purchases. The area that could have been improved was the detailing of my new car. There are some guys that detail cars there like it's their own car and they do an amazing job and some that just do the job. When I got my car, the windows were so streaky inside that I couldn't drive it at night. I had to go home and re-do this myself. There were also sections were the plastic wasn't removed in the car and the dash was really dusty (a week later I already had to clean it). When you're purchasing a $50k vehicle, you should get the car the cleanest that it ever could be.

My 2008 Escape was brought in for a recall on the power steering. After reading all of the comments on line I was very apprehensive to have the recall done. But when the power steering quit working completley I didn't have much choice! Dan in service assured me that the issue would be repaired, and it was. Part of the recall involved the complete steering column and the part was ordered on Monday afternoon and the job was completed and ready for pick up early the next afternoon. And while the vehicle was there I also had the transmission serviced. I would recommend Friendly Ford to anyone needing repairs done on their Ford car or truck.

The purpose of my visit to the dealership was to have a new tire mounted and balanced on my car. I had to utilize my temporary tire as a result of a tire failure. Mounting and balancing the new tire on the rim took place with no issues.However, when I arrived home, I checked my trunk and found that the temporary tire and the jacking components were lying loose in the well below the floor of the trunk.These items should have been put back correctly and fastened down as they are when normally stored.If these parts are left loose in the trunk by your staff, I feel the vehicle owner should be made aware so it can be properly addressed and not left for discovery at a later time.I am submitting this simply as a learning opportunity for your Service Department staff.Thank you

This is not the first car we purchased from Friendly Ford. We really like the dealership. We were able to browse the lot, without being pressured to buy. Once we decided what we wanted, we went indoors and met Dave Perry, who became our salesman. We quickly learned that he had sold cars to several of our family members over the years. We liked him instantly. He was professional, friendly, and courteous. He listened to our needs and worked the deal to meet our needs. When the car was delivered, it was perfect. He took the time to go over all of the details/specifics of the car. These days your car is a computer and it's amazing how they work! on thursday 1-8-14 the battery was dead and i called for sevice. jump started . car started. was told to run engine 30 min. which i did. in the afternoon car started and went to grocery store. battery dead when we wanted to come home. ford service came and got car started. came home. called Al Liparoto. he said he would some one come to our house and get car fixed. next morning a nice young man (i didn't get his name) left his car and took ours to your shop. returned short time later and he said battery was bad and they changed it. no trouble since.

Came in for my scheduled oil change and as usual asked if my tires needed rotation. I tell them if it's due then "yes" take care of that too. Upon completion and checking out to pay the support staff always takes the time to check my "ford advantage rewards" and let me know that I had $19.00 I could use toward my oil change - which I used. My total bill then came to $27.86. At the time of leaving the dealership my thought was it seemed like a high charge for just an oil change. Upon arriving home I called the service department and talked to Dan who told me I was charged for my tire rotation but I purchased my tires from Friendly Ford and should not have been charged this. I will be credited $10.00 back to my advantage rewards account but my concern still is that when my service record is pulled up why it wouldn't be noticed that my tires were purchased there. If it's my responsibility to inform the technician that when a tire rotation is required I advise them of the tire purchase through Friendly then that's fine and I will do that in the future. Dan in Service assisted me when I made the tire purchase so he was aware but I'm still wondering why when my service record is pulled up a techican wouldn't see that the tires were purchased there. My car has never been serviced any where but Friendly Ford and I will continue my service at Friendly. Thank You

We got our new MKC in October and absolutely love it! We had an issue with one of the speakers but we took it to Friendly Ford/Lincoln in Monroe, Mi. and they got it taken care of so now the issue is resolved completely. They even went so far to get us in at the last moment in the last hour of their evening when we picked up a nail in one of the tires and got it taken care of for us right then and there. I can't say enough about how pleased we are with the service we've received from the guys at Friendly Ford/Lincoln!

Words cannot express the AWESOME service I received from my sales person Dave Stolkey at Friendly Ford. With having a dealership right down the street from my house I still continue to go back to Friendly Ford due to the AWESOME service. Dave always goes above the next step from when I have to order to the day I pick-up. Dave always looks out for his customers and makes sure they are happy before they order or leave the dealership and always gets them the best deal he can. I always pass his name out to friends, family or people I meet on the street, in the grocery store who are looking for a vehicle. I tell them it might be alittle out of your way but in the long run you will ALWAYS be HAPPY with the service you will receive from Dave. I work for the President of Ford Global Customer Service and always come back and tell him how nice it is to have a Salesperson who cares, follow-ups and I can trust with my heart. I don't even have to get my husband involved because he knows Dave will get me the BEST DEAL. Our Dealerships need more Salesperson like Dave Stolkey. Keep up the GREAT work!

This time my wait was very lengthy. I would have appreciated the service manager, Mike, telling me this upon my checking in considering I told him I was staying. I waited 2 hours without any explanation of the delay. Once I went back to check the progress Mike told me that it would still be another 2 hours. I chose to leave and return later. They did get me right back upon my return and got me on my way.The last time I had my oil changed I was in I was informed that my next oil change would be free due to my owners advantage with Friendly. I asked if the benefit applied to a diesel oil change, was told it did and would be free. This is the only type of oil change that we have you do. Upon checking out yesterday this was not the case. The cashier said that you only receive the amount for a regular oil change credited to the service, which was the $32.42. I appreciate the small discount, but felt frustrated as I was under the impression that there wouldn't be any charge for yesterday's service which was $135.00. Normally I have not had any issues with the dealership, but yesterday's events left me very misinformed and feeling frustrated.

The dealership did an amazing job. My service writer was very helpful as well. I thought I was going to be without my own vehicle all weekend and ended having it all done the very next day. My only issue came from the fact that I had to use Hertz. As someone that comes from a union household and has only ever driven Ford vehicles I was not very happy when I had to use a foreign vehicle from Hertz. I was only given the option between one tiny foreign car or another even smaller foreign car. Not to mention I have four children and was in the smallest vehicle possible. If a Ford dealer is going to be using Hertz I think they need to make sure that their customers are being put into American cars. Other than that I had an amazing experience and would recommend this dealer to anyone.

Mr. Liperato was very helpful in scheduling test drives when it was most convenient for us in a vehicle that was in stock. I purchased my 4th Escape which I refer to as my Great Escape. My great escape is the titanium and my first. I did not like the 2013. But I am loving 2014. Andy my sales person called me about early turn in along with being cheaper. I got the car in 2 days. I left my old one being fix due to 3 recalls so no love lost there. Thanks Andy, you rock!!!

I have a 2014 Focus SE in Sterling Gray with the Appearance Package.The staff was helpful and very understanding. The service was top notch except for one little glitch. That glitch being when they were detailing the car, they left a few scuffs on my seats as well as, what seemed to be, grease marks on my head liner. They were easily cleaned up, but it was a bit of an inconvenience.

My Explorer is getting old. It has 120,000 miles and things are starting to go wrong. I had put my explorer in the shop there at Friendly Ford twice and mentioned the problem that I could feel when making slow moving turns. Each time they did major, expensive work that did not fix the problem. This time they did fix the problem and yes, it was expensive again. The problem is gone and I am very heppy about that but in doing the repair, the wheels are either not in alignment or needs to be balanced. I took it back and they could not do it quickly (said it would take all afternoon). They told me to go ahead and drive it (even at high speeds) and that it would not hurt the car to make it shake and vibrate. And, even though I told them that the new problem was not there before the repair, I got the distinct impression that there would be addition charges to make it right again. I have not brought it back yet so I am not sure if they will indeed fix it free or charge me. Am I happy??? Not sure. Will I buy another Ford??? Not sure.

Service department personnel are professional & knowledgeable. A little over a year ago I purchased my car from Friendly Ford. The nicest salesman, Andy Omler, helped me. He was very patient and never rushed me when I test drove several vehicles before settling on my Ford Edge. Recently the 'change oil' light came on and I took the car into the Service Department. They were extremely friendly and got the job done in less than the 1 hour estimate they had given me. I opted to also have the tires rotated (only 7000 miles on the car but what the heck ... stay ahead of the game). To my surprise the oil change didn't cost me because it was my first and the tire rotation was less than $15. The car wash was a nice bonus. If this is the kind of after-sale service they provide, I am very happy to continue working with this dealership.

Friendly Ford takes customer service seriously. I have never had a bad experience with this dealership or with the service/repair department. I myself have purchased two vehicles from them and my son has purchased a vehicle also. The people on the sales floor are always "friendly" (no joke) and the guys in the service department are knowledgeable and helpful. I was never one to take my vehicle to a dealership for any work, not even an oil change because customer service is very important to me and in the past I just didn't feel like dealerships gave a crap about me or my vehicle... Friendly Ford changed my opinion. While I have nothing bad to say about the dealership, I will say that I was very disappointed with the lease turn in process. Back in the day vehicles were inspected on site when you turned them in and I have since found out that that is no longer the case. The vehicle is taken by a company (don't believe they are part of Ford but not sure?) that evaluates the condition of the car. I will spare you the details, let's just say if we ever have to turn in a lease vehicle again we will most definitely take pictures of the car ON the lot BEFORE they take it away because there was damage reported that was not there when we left it there. The cost was not a lot but it's the principal of the matter! But what are you going to do... he said, she said. Is it really worth challenging? Probably not, they have pics and we do not. We will probably just pay it and be done with it... lesson learned. Just one more reason why I myself will never lease a vehicle. But Seriously Overall - GREAT dealership, AWESOME people and an AMAZING service department - please keep up the good work;)

We found the car my son wanted online. Drove an hour to the dealership to view the car. Was very dissappointed to see that there was a scratch on the car that was not shown on the online video of the car. Was hoping not to pay the full sticker price on the used car. They would not come down on the price though they tried to repair the scratch. We worked with Steve who was friendly and knowledable about the car which was very helpful.

This was the best experience I have ever had with a salesman..ever!! Rob Walker is honest, I so appreciated that. He is not aggressive, rude, pushy...he is the real deal as a salesman and a person. He is kind, soft spoken, and portrays to the customer that he is genuinely concerned that he sells them the right car. He showed me several cars to make sure I fit in them comfortable, as I am very short. He offered me to test drive them, and when I decided on the car for me I did just that. He made a list of things I needed to do before I could have the car....a loan from my credit union, proof of car insurance etc. and to make sure these companies faxed him the proper information. He called me to tell me he had received these things and that my car was being prepared for it's trip home with me. On the day I was to come for my car, he even called me again to remind me to bring the plate off my old car...(which I would have totally forgotten!) Rob is an amazing salesman, he really, truly cares about the people he sells cars to. I will only buy my cars from him from now on and I have already passed his business cards on to several of my friends. Thanks Rob for taking what could have been a stressful situation for me and turning it into a very pleasant experience!! I should also tell you that from the minute I walked through the doors of Friendly Ford (and I had been to many sales rooms previous to coming to Friendly Ford) the people were all very friendly... and so the dealership is rightly named! Although it took me almost an hour to get there, the trip was so worth it!

I went in for a simple oil change which was completed very quickly. The fact that the service writer, I believe his name was Cory went above and beyond, came out to the parking lot and updated my mom's 2013 Taurus' sync. It took around 40 minutes to complete. During the wait he was very friendly and helpful. I wanted to mention this because you probably never get to hear when one of your employees goes the extra distance. It is people like him and the service I get whenever I enter your business that keeps me coming back. I have been a customer at Friendly since 1993.

My Salesman Al Liporoto was wonderful. He took the time and explained all. He looked for a couple days to find the exact vehicle that I wanted and than did a special order and I was able to get exactly what I wanted. Al kept in touch with me during the time of order and upon the time the vehicle came in I was notified right away. The vehicle was prepped by Martin Smock and he found a spot on the door that was a blemish and was told to me and was taken care of the Tuesday following the purchase. Great service by all. I come from a Ford family and we have bought more than 11 vehicles from Friendly Ford. Overall, I am still a Ford person and prefer to buy new from the dealership. I never had a problem when buying a vehicle from Friendly Ford. However, this year we had two problems with our vehicles and had such a bad experience with the service department. The first time we took one car in for a "small" problem. The service department said it was nothing and they couldn't hear or experience the problem. Then, my husband read up on the vehicle and found out there was recall problem and took it back in. No problem we thought and the service department fixed it. However. Less than two weeks later, it happened again and this time we were charged over $700 because now something else went wrong with the car...in the same place....but they said different part. Ok, we thought, this happens. Then, the second car. When we went in to have it checked out, the service manager was rude and too busy to listen to our car problem and continued doing other work while merely shaking his head up and down to what we were saying. He didn't even try and get our business...seemed as though he would rather us leave. Needless to say, we left and will not be returning to Friendly Ford.

We were looking for a used car and had a set budget, but knew what model we wanted, so I used cars.com to find the model at a good price with almost incredibly low miles. We dealt with Rob Walker. We got to the dealership on terrible winter day, and bought the car. Others had arranged to see the car that day, too, but we had made contact with Rob earlier, and arrived first. We bought the car and were happy with the deal and customer service. The only minor observation is that the used car area is not as nice as the new car area.

My salesman kept checking with service on the progress they were making with my car. The service dept. called me each day to give me updates. I was extremely satisfied with Friendly Ford's service dept.

Easy drop off and pick-up of vehicle. Employees acted and spoke in a professional manner. Communication was good. I appreciate work done well, which is what Friendly Ford provides - Quality professional service at a fair price and in a timely manner.

We found a car on cars.com that we were very interested in. After contacting the Internet person for further information, she immediately passed us off to a sales guy. "Slow Steve" as we named him; had little knowledge and zero follow up skills in answering our questions about the vehicle. This was real important to us considering the 150 mile drive we were contemplating to make the purchase. I suggest you save the trouble and contact the next dealer before waiting for these guys to respond. We even tried to contact the Sales Manager, or anther sales guy, just to get old Slow Steve again.... I find it hard to believe in this economy fundamentals of customer service are so easily ignored. We ended up with a like vehicle closer home with great CS skills!

July of 2011: I found Friendly Ford was selling a vehicle I had been looking for though Cars.com. I spoke to (Rob Walker) who assisted me in checking out the car. This was an amazing find. It turned out there were several other customers coming down to look at the car. Rob made note of a few minor items of concern that would be fixed. I made a deposit to hold the car, ($100 per day). I took delivery of this used car a few days later. A problem with the engine developed within a 10 miles of the dealership. Friendly Ford retrieved the car, ordered the needed parts and made the necessary repairs at no charge to me. A full refund was also offered. They stood behind this deal as honorable and as honestly as I could ever ask for. A 45 day 1500 mile 50/50 warranty was also give to me for piece of mind. Friendly Ford and Rob Walker were a delight to work with. Although I had to make several 75 round trips to finish the deal, I was my choice to buy this car so far from home. I felt that this cost was minor compared to the effort Friendly Ford had to go though to make this transaction right and a customer satisfied. I highly recommend Friendly Ford and my salesman Mr. Rob Walker to anyone looking for a New or Used car. You will be treated like a friend. Alan R. Wixom, Mi.
