I recently purchased a used Hyundai Genesis from Penske. The entire team was professional, courteous, and extremely friendly (as well as knowledgeable... even about a vehicle which was not their product specifically). Walked in as a single younger women, not dressed in professional clothing. Went to sales manager to ask a question about leasing possibilities, was automatically shut down by saying you need to have a very high credit score and a large amount of money to put down, before I ever expressed concern about those two areas...completely rude, left within 5 mins walked in with high hopes to purchase today, left feeling annoyed and discouraged. Never once was I even shown a vehicle.

I took my car to this dealer for an electrical problem that rendered my 2011 Acadia with just over 50K miles unreliable. I had this vehicle into another dealer numerous times over the past 13 months with nothing but excuses and the normal we cant get it to do it while it is here and therefore cannot fix.Jeremy and his team at Penske diagnosed the problem in less than a day and repaired within 48 hours, giving me back a vehicle that I can again have confidence having my family drive.Unlike other dealers, they were not so busy telling me what they could not and would not do, but instead took the action to make me a happy customer.If you are frustrated with your current dealer service situation, I would suggest you give them a try. I am certainly happy I drove the 60 miles for this service.

I bought my Park Avenue Buick new in 2002 (the dealership at that time was Dan Phelps) and have relied on the maintenance services at Penske ever since that time.Throughout that time the entire staff has been very friendly and professional explaining potential vehicle problems without trying to sell a service or parts that were not needed. I respect the honesty and skills of the service mechanics.My most recent experience involved front end body work necessitated as a result of a collision with a deer. Called about a car on Tuesday, had a confirmed appointment to see a car on Wednesday at 7:00 PM. At 6:10 PM after just leaving, received a call that said they went ahead and sold the car that I was on my way to see. So, if you have a confirmed appointment and rearrange your day to be there, they can just blow you off???? Can't say they have someone coming to see the car, and to check on availability later???? Don't like how they treat potential customers at all. That, I was told is a policy promoted by the owner. I will never return there. You could be treated in the same manner if you patronize this dealership. Remember, a confirmation from them regarding your appointment is meaningless.

Found Geoff Penske on Auto Trader. Called made appt and a few short hours later I had traded in my car and drove home in a 2014 Chevy Silverado exactly what I wanted . Not taking anything away from Bob my salesman but Victor Popescu is the "MAESTRO" of a general manager. Tough, fair, honest to the "T" and SMART. Even offered to buy me lunch because they were so busy. Great staff and kudo's to Kevin Bridgman the $$$$$ manager made the paperwork move effortlessly. Nice touch! Great dealer, worth a visit new or used!!!

Awful experience! Salespeople were friendly , helpful, knowledge, and all that good stuff. However, we feel taken advantage of. We were told that the best they could offer for our trade was $33.000. The man stated that this was the best he could do, because it would be difficult to sell our car and he might have to send it to auction. Our trade was a 2014 Buick Enclave with 2,597 miles (which we bought 2 weeks prior for approx. $10,000 more) Two days later when I checked the website, they had our car (same color, features, mileage) listed at $49,000. They advised us against buying back our old minivan, but we did anyway. They sold it to us for more than they gave in trade, because they repaired the seat. The repair did not look good. On the way home whatever stuff they smeared on the seat (to fix it) came off on my husband's jeans. Very disappointed!!! Several other things are worse now than when we traded it in. Very Frustrating. We would not recommend this dealership.

I bought a 2015 GMC Yukon from Victor and Jeremy and I can't say enough about the great experience I had at Geoff Penske Buick GMC. The show room was immaculate (best coffee machine ever, Cappuccino too!!), the people courteous and knowledgeable and most importantly trustworthy! I traded in my 2002 Toyota Sequia and got more then a fair price for it. I also purchased great extended warranties that cover the inside and outside of my vehicle which is important to me because I keep my vehicles for a long time (last vehicle 13 years). After the deal was done Jeremy went through all the bells and whistles that are in my beautiful new Yukon and there are plenty. He wanted to make sure I was completely satisfied before I left that day, but he also went the extra mile sending a follow up email saying to contact him with any questions related to anything.Ricki from the finance department was also very knowledgable and spent the time working out what was best for us related to financing a small business vehicle which can be sometimes complicated.This is the second vehicle we purchased from Penske and recommend it to our friends and they purchased a Acadia Denali. They also had the same great experience.

I bought a 2010 Mercedes-Benz ml320 Blutec from Randy. This was totally an online sale up to the point of signing the papers and picking up the vehicle. I was very impressed when I actually got to the dealership (180 mile drive). The vehicle was much nicer than I had expected and the few flaws it did have were accurately described in the correspondence. I would certainly recommend this dealership and even buy again myself. 2007 I purchased a 2007 Envoy. What a sweet ride that was and with 125,000 miles on today still runs like a dream. Randy Fryberger was the sales rep. Yesterday 8-11,2014 I pushed myself to go ahead and look at the 2015's that just came out. I found one and lo and behold who comes up to assist but Randy 7 years later. Same great attitude same helpful self. Well I purchased the 2015 and left with it. Whoever gets the 2007 Envoy is getting a great ride not even a rattle anywhere and still runs like the first day. Randy - thank you and thanks to Penske for the professional business you run. I visited the Penske showroom planning to purchase a 2014 GMC Terrain to replace my 2011 GMC Terrain which was also purchased at Penske and provided me with excellent service but now had high mileage. The staff was extremely helpful in finding a vehicle with the color and features that I wanted. Although they did not have it on their lot, they were very prompt to locate it for me and have it brought to their dealership. Unfortunately, that vehicle was damaged in transit but the team at Penske worked very hard to find me another identical vehicle and had it brought to the dealership in almost the same time frame! Although the new Terrain had some options that I was not planning to purchase, Penske GMC did not charge me for those options. I cannot complement them enough for the very fair and professional manner in which they got the deal done including very generous trade-in allowance on my old Terrain. There was no high pressure sales or gimmicks involved. I felt that I truly got a very fair deal and the wonderful new vehicle I wanted.

At first the Finance Manager lied to us and sold us a packaged warranty... He said it covered everything, all the high tech parts, like Navigation, DVD player, radio, etc and it was worth the extra $60 a month. I reluctantly agreed to the coverage.We read the fine print later on, which states that NONE of those high tech parts are included at all.When I contacted him he said it was too late, and the monthly payment could not be changed, and we would only get a partial refund.You can imagine my extreme frustration; feeling cheated and mislead.I promptly wrote a message to Mr. Penske, his general manager, and is pre-owned manager...Within no time, Mr. Penske himself contacted me directly, sincerely apologizing for what happened. He promised me he would personally right the wrongs to the best of his ability.Let me tell you, this dealership has some excellent managers... Mr. Penske contacted the lender just in time to cancel EVERYTHING and he brought us back to resign the contract to our liking.He also offered to send a driver to meet us and even have the vehicle re-cleaned under his personal supervision.Neither of those were necessary, so we declined, we were just happy to have the deal that we had been hoping for.When we arrived at the dealership to resign, I met Mr. Penske personally, and he was as genuinely concerned about our happiness as his messages portrayed. It is unique to find a dealership that has this level of true customer service at it's core.We also met the pre-owned sales manager, who was just as dedicated to righting the situation.Mr. Penske assured us he would address the employee that caused the problem, which I believe he will handle appropriately.We love our vehicle and could not be more pleased with the end result!I would definitely buy from them again, despite the issues at hand, because they didn't brush me off, the fixed it the right way.

My wife just bought a used car with low miles and in perfect condition. We were treated like we bought a brand new car. Bryan was our salesperson and he was very helpful and very knowledgeable about our car. He has and will continue to help us with all features this car has to offer. We are not familiar with all the electronics on this car. He said he is willing to help us any time. Victor was also helpful in getting us a good price for our trade in and lowering the price of our new car. I am completely satisfied with the job the service department did on my 2009 Buick Lacurne. They discover the problem which was an oil seep in the engine, they insisted I needed to get the car repaired as quickly as possible. The service department set up the appointment at my earliest convenience. It took them 5 hours to complete and I received the car back in great shape. I cannot express how completely satisfied I am with the service the Penske service department provides. I plan to take my 2009 Buick to them every time it needs service.

Scheduled an oil change and Joy contacted me to set the time and secure a loaner vehicle for me. I was just going to wait but they offered to do my inspection which wasn't due for 2 months, so I took the loaner. Still only took about 1 1/2 hours and my car was washed and ready to go. Definitely will schedule my service work there again.

we showed up on a Saturday to look at a certain car, after a test drive we decided to buy the car. the people there stayed past there closing time to make sure that everything got done that night. we were not rushed because they wanted to get home for the weekend, even know we felt bad holding them up. I talked to them on Monday to make sure that everything went ok on the way home. I would drive the extra miles again to do business with them.

My Truck broke down on Interstate 222 while taking some items to my daughter while she was moving. I had AAA tow my vehicle toGeoff Penske Buick. Since I had no way to deliver the items to my daughter, Brad from the Parts Dept. helped me get the items to my daughter's house about 2 miles away. Jeremy stayed in touch and was able to secure the necessary parts in one day. Willam did allrepairs and service required in a few hours. I had my truck back in two business days. The courtesy shown to me and my wife was exceptional.I have never seen a report like the compehensive report that I received when the service was completed. Overall, an exceptional job. I'll be back.

I met Joy Page in customer relations and the man himself, Geoff Penske. He took time out of his day to meet me and convey his appreciation. Over my years of coming to Geoff Penske for service on my car, I've had the pleasure of befriending Joy Page, Guest Relations Manager. Ms. Page always makes me feel like a priority and couldn't be more accomodating and friendlier. I wish I had more reasons to bring my car in for service.

I usually took my vehicle to another dealer for service, but on this day they were booked up. I called Geoff Penske service dept. and they got me in promptly, took care of the issues with my vehicle and the price was very much less then what I thought it would be, I got the vehicle back in a timely manner which is very important to me. I also spoke to Joy an employee at the dealer who was extremely helpful with a friendly smile and could not have been any more pleasant to work with. This dealership should be proud of the people they have working for them. Thank you again Geoff Penske.

I love the Service Dept. at Penske! Jeremy & Justin (Service Writers) take good care of my car and Joy (Guest Relations Mgr.) takes good care of me! Joy makes me feel welcome, comfortable and appreciated every time I visit and always goes above and beyond to make sure everyone is completely satisfied with their service work and overall experience. She definitely cares about the customer and adds value to Penske Buick GMC. I always look forward to my service appointments and I travel 45 minutes out of my way just to go there. Poor service department couldn't figure out simple problem with new car that was purchased at their dealership. After several failed attempts they got upset and told me to go somewhere else. I did and the problem was fixed by another dealer in 15 minutes. Service here is terrible and their customer service manager needs to learn a thing or two about customer service.

I just purchased a used Cadillac DTS from Geoff Penske Buick-GMC and it was the most pleasant car buying experience I've ever had and I'm 66 yrs. old. Absolutely NO presure in any way, and I was very satisfied with the price I paid. My salesman was Randy Fryberger. I would recommend him to anyone. Randy is a very down-to-earth person, very polite, respectful and personable. He spent an unlimited amount of time with my wife and I, answering all of our questions and when we came in to pick up the car, which was immaculately detailed, inside and out he explained in detail everything on the car, answering all of my questions about how things work. I was very surprised that he spent so much time with me when I was just buying a used car but Randy valued me as a customer. I've called a few times since I've taken the car home with a couple simple questions and he again, in the friendliest way took his time answering all of my questions and told me to feel free to call him anytime with any questions I may have. the salesman was ok to deal with, but as soon as i was greeted to tom. i could tell he was cocky, rude, and was not gonna be a good person to deal with. he kept telling me my financial situation, that i can afford payment $60.00 higher a month than what i told him i could, and lied and said i needed gap and a warranty. after reminding him several times that requiring me to take these extras was illegal, he changed his attitude and didnt seem to wanna sell me the car. after no such luck i left the dealership frustrated, but only to realize if thats how they are to deal with in sales, you can only imagine how they would be to deal with otherwise. so looking back im glad i didnt buy from them because Bob Fisher chev took much better care of me, gave me a better deal, and better rates on a better vehicle

A horrific car crash caused by a careless driver...an ambulance ride to a trauma center...a totaled car...that was my January 2012. A look on Cars.com led me on the search for my replacement car, a Hyundai Sonata, the very car that saved my life. A limited budget was the concern for replacing the car love of my life. I managed to find this car at Geoff Penske Buick GMC, a dealership in Shillington, PA, an hour and a half away from home, and in a different state. A phone call to inquire about this Hyundai Sonata brought me to the nicest, kindest, most compassionate people with whom I've ever dealt at a car dealership. My first conversation was with Kyle Smith, my salesman. I told him my situation, and told him of my limited budget, and he said that his manager was out for the day, but that he would get back to me the next day with an answer about the price. I received a phone call later that day from Amber Hart, the Internet Manager, who came back to me with an offer that was great enough for me to make the trip out to Shillington that Saturday. I fell in love with this car. It drove great, but it had a faint smell of cigarettes and dogs. I was worried that this smell would always linger on, and I was a little unsure that I wanted to smell these smells long-term. Amber and Kyle both assured me that they would have their detailers really detail this car to get rid of the smell, use an ionizer, and make it smell amazing. They even agreed to replace the Hyundai cabin air filter so that the smells would go away. The following Wednesday, I made the trip to Shillington with my brother and sister-in-law. My brother also works in internet sales at a dealership in NJ. His blessing was very important to me. When we made the trip that following Wednesday, we pulled into the dealership, and saw the car sitting there, all sparkly and beautiful! It was so beautifully detailed that it should have been on the floor at the Philadelphia Auto Show, which happened to be going on in the city at the time! Amber saw the look on my face, and she knew that I was impressed! She assured me that the car smelled like cupcakes! So, we got the keys, and into the car we went. It was amazing! The smell was completely gone, and it did smell like cupcakes!!! A test drive by my brother showed him that the car ran perfectly, and that it was perfect for me! So, we went inside, and spoke with Tom Gramling, the Finance Manager, who went over warranty options with us. He was also very nice! The papers were drawn up, and the transaction was done. Another special thanks to Vic Popescu, the General Sales Manager, who helped out with getting the temporary tag ready for us. I will always look back on this experience with a huge smile, and warmth in my heart for the people of this wonderful dealership who turned a very tragic experience into a very happy ending! Thank you, Kyle, Amber, Tom, and Vic! You've not only restored my faith in the car-buying experience, but you've made me see that there are angels out there, looking out for people, and making sure that they're happy! :) I will shout it out from the rooftops that this is the place to buy a car, even if you're from really far away! The service department of this dealership is always very professional. They are courteous when scheduling the appointments and honest about how much services will cost and how long it will take. While waiting for repairs it's like sitting in your living room. Their's free coffee, newspapers and television available. Most of the time I talk to other customers who always seem pleased with their service or the salesman I leased the car from. My decision to buy out the lease on my 2008 Accadia was greatly influenced by the way this dealership treats me when I'm there. Tom Morgantown, PA

Further information about the vehicle history (which I had not requested) was shared with me at that time as well. Subsequent to that, they followed-up to be certain that I had all the information I needed. I would likely have bought the car from Geoff Penske but it was sold before I could arrange time to get there.

Went to purchase a used car, and was given the best treatment by the manager Victor! He took me through a few different scenarios and price ranges, in the end I ended up with a great car that was within the budget discussed. I also want to mention Mike who definitely made me laugh and helped with my decision. I have been recommending the dealership to anybody looking to buy a car.

I am a previous customer from the former dealership and some time has passed since I've been to the dealership for a visit. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted by the receptionist (I think Erica?)- she was very friendly and pleasant. Randy, my salesperson, was very helpful in walking me through my purchase and never pushed me into buying. Before I left, Victor introduced himself and offered to answer any other questions I might have had- again, not pushy. Unfortunately, I did not end up buying due to some personal changes, but when I am ready I know right where I'm going. The entire experience made a big impression on me and I will always recommend them when someone needs a car.

Outstanding service - had difficult to diagnose problem on my new corvette and Charlie fit me in right away. Jeremy was on top of things and called me every day to give me a status report on finding the problem and repairing. Found a second issue and took care of it as well. Very on top of their game! Great service, knowledgeable and courteous. Highly recommend to anyone.

I have never been into a dealership that actually came back from my offer after speaking to "the manager" with a lower price than I offered! And this was after offering a significantly below invoice number and I kept all of the rebates. No high pressure sales, and extremely helpful in getting me the aftermarket/accesories that I wanted. I am a very shrewd negotiator, and researched KBB, Edmunds.com etc. These people are really that good!

In 2004 (then Dan Phelps Buick GMC) I had found that Victor (then a salesman) was "bending over backwards" to make me a customer. After looking for a replacement for our Tahoe, we leased a Yukon and were never sorry. The service was great. We returned the Yukon in 2007 and purchased a conversion van from another dealer (Penske didn't sell conversion vans). We were sorry- the service from that other dealer (close to Phila) was horrendous. I also leased a 2007 Silverado from another local dealer (again I was sorry). So the lease on my 2007 Silverado was expiring 08/05/11 and I started looking for a replacement in May, including GMC and Chevy. The Chevy dealer I had dealt with in the past, which had always messed up something on ordering or acquiring my next vehicle was closed by Chevrolet during the recession (not hard to understand why). I went to another local Chevy dealer as well as back to Victor. Victor said "We want you driving a Sierra." He did everything under the sun to make that happen. We couldn't find a truck that had everything I wanted so we ordered on June 17th. Victor "pushed" and the truck was delivered in record time- less than 6 weeks. And to top it off, they transferred the step bars from my 2007 to the 2011 as well as installed a bed liner in less than 3 hours. Hard to beat the service both from the sales side and the service side. Thank you Victor, Randy, and Jeremy- your number one in my book.

My wife and I stopped by G. Penske to briefly look at an Acadia. We were immediately greeted by Mike, who we found to be one of the best auto salepeople we have dealt with. He was courteoius, knowledgable, and easy to work with. He took his time, and was very patient with all of our questions and tossed in a bit of humor to boot. We came back the next day, and everyone was very busy (end of month). Mike was not avaialble, but Victor, the sales manager, or anyone who was available, stepped in as needed to keep the process moving along. It was obvious they work as a team. We had a great experience with Mike, Victor and Penske, and will go back when ready for our next vehicle.Note that the (4) answer on price was only because it can never be low enough!!

I asked for oil change and alignment. They assured me th car would be driven nd checked to see if I needed the front wheel only or the all wheel therefore not having to spend more than I needed too. They were also very efficient with the time it took because I was waiting.

Heat wave/air conditioner breaks down/called monday morning and was told bring it down at my leisure/I couldn't get it there till 200pm....no problem/arrived,problem diagnosed in 10 minutes/parts needed /I was offered a loaner car and was out of there in 20 minutes/ wife and I had several plans and were able to do what we needed to in comfort/ message on machine tuesday evening indicating car was done/ picked car up Wenesday morning/service has been consistently outstanding since I puchased my vehicle/ this episode was the icing on the cake/ I live 55 miles away and my next vehicle will be purchased and serviced here.
