I always experience great, timely service here. I brought my car in early before another appointment and it was ready before I could even delve into the work I brought along with me. My service rep was friendly and polite, yet not overbearing. UPDATE: I came in for an oil change and Braeden greeted me like family. He helped me know what I needed to get done and outlined my next visit so I could be prepared. I always have a wonderful experience at Germain Nissan. I expected to wait longer, but was finished before I could even get into my work. UPDATE: I went in for general maintenance and got my car in and out in no time. I was able to get home in time for a zoom meeting. UPDATE 2021:I went in because my lease was ending and I needed a new vehicle. Steve Mendoza took time with me to find the vehicle I wanted. Being practical, I usually pick black vehicles, but this time I was attracted to the brilliant blue on the new Rogue. He worked with me and my husband to get me into that vehicle at a price point I could live with. I have been with the Nissan brand since 2007 and have leased 3 vehicles through Germain. You never disappoint!

As someone who has always had a bad taste in their mouth about car shopping, I was so incredibly happy to eat my words during my experience with Nathan Miller at Germain Nissan. My husband and I came by the showroom to test drive a car, but because we were refinancing our home and I was 8 months pregnant, we were really adamant that we weren't looking to purchase that day. Nathan didn't skip a beat or treat us any differently. He answered all of our questions and was incredibly kind. We loved the car and knew we would be back to lease through him. Over the following month or so as we waited to tie up some loose ends, Nathan politely reached out once or twice but was not pushy at all, just checked in. This past Friday I messaged him letting him know we were ready to move forward. As I am now 9+ months pregnant he made sure I didn't have to lift a finger! He found the new car I wanted, and DROVE IT TO MY HOUSE for me THAT SAME DAY. We filled out the paperwork at my kitchen counter, he drove off in my old car that I used as a trade in, and that was IT! The best, most pain-free, respectful car purchasing experience I have ever had. I will not hesitate to give Germain and Nathan my business again in the future. I am blown away. Thank you Nathan!

We traded in are nissian on another vehicle and thought we where getting another vehicle with alot of same options as are trade like satellite radio and blue tooth even had someone say they would help us setup blue tooth and after waiting for a long while to come back from getting washed was in a hurry didn't notice till we got home had neither was really happy about that happy with the vehicle just not happy with not having those options.

I wanted to take a moment and Rave about the buying experience I recently had when buying my wife a car. We went in to see a car advertised on the internet but unfortunately when we got there another customer was already working a deal on it. Our sales rep, Sam A. was very courteous and knowledgeable about the inventory. He kept his distance so that we could take our time and find another car to our liking. About 10 minutes into our search Sam brought a car over that he felt would work for us...it was exactly what we wanted. I understand that the car buying experience isn't always pleasant but I personally enjoy the process. Our experience with Greg S. (Sales Manager) and Sam A. was extremely fun and has definitely made us fans of Germain Nissan and we would definitely go back for our future needs whether it be new or used. I recommend giving Sam and Greg at Germain Nissan a shot to earn your business!!

Overall, I would say I had a good experience with Nissan. I will say that parking was terrible for a Saturday. My sales agent was nice and took the time to make sure we were helped. I would recommend this dealer to others who are looking for a new car. I appreciate that they were not aggressive in their approach and allowed their customers to search and test drive cars on their own unlike most dealerships.

After shopping around at a few dealerships, we ended up at Germain. The staff were friendly, the waiting area was clean and comfortable. We were able to test drive the car without the salesman, which was nice. We worked with Steve Mendoza. The buying process (financing) itself took a long time since it was the end of the month, but Steve made sure we were comfortable. We purchased a used car and are very happy with the purchase. The car drives really well! There were a few things that needed repaired...chips in window and scratch on the door etc. They took care of everything and loaned us a vehicle while the repairs were being completed. Overall, we are very satisfied with our purchase and the service we received. We will definitely recommend Germain and Steve Mendoza.

Bought a Pathfinder from Germain Nissan of Columbus and had a great experience. My husband and I went in to look at SUVs and we were greeted at the door. The greeter got us a sales person, James Jordan, who showed us around and found us the Pathfinder we ended up buying. James was very easy to deal with, we really felt like he was working to get us the best price for SUV and best trade in value. We ended up with exactly what we were looking for and bought that day. Highly recommend Germain Nissan and James Jordan.

It was time to turn in a lease and make a new lease/purchase arrangement. We had made 3 purchases at another Nissan dealership, but it was time for a change. Cathy went online and found the new Juke she wanted at Germain. She was contacted by Lauren Kuhn, went over the terms and was advised that we would meet with Steve Mendoza on Saturday at 1pm. We arrived to see our new car parked right out front. We were taken to Steve's desk and from the first handshake to the last, Steve was a pleasure to work with. His professionalism, knowledge and overall friendliness was impressive. We then met with Deezy Jackson to complete all the paperwork. Deezy was also a pleasure to work with. It was really cool to see our new Juke getting it's final detail work while in Deezy's office. We went home and talked for hours what a great customer experience we had that day. Keep up the great work!

I had an unusual car-buying experience yesterday. I was buying a used car for my sister out of state. She is a breast cancer patient and a small second car is going to be a big help as she begins her treatment regime.I bought a Leaf--all electric--from these guys in February and it was the standard experience. Telling my sister how much I LOVE my Leaf, she was hopeful I could find one for her..... Looked around on-line, but the best find was back at Germain. I called, set up an appointment, loved the car, and everyone from John Germain to the receptionist did everything possible to make this deal happen. The salesman and the finance person did everything they could possibly have done to make this a fun and exciting bright spot in a very troubling time in my sister's life.I am hauling the car to Kentucky today to deliver it to her. She is so excited....This was above and beyond the call of "just selling another used car." They went many extra miles to make this work!Thank you, Allen, John and all the rest of the team at Germain Nissan!!

Everyone was especially friendly and helpful from the time we walked in until we drove the new vehicle off the lot. Alan was very helpful in finding us the vehicle that was desired and pointed out the differences from our 2013 versus the new model. Alan and the new car sales Mgr. worked very hard to complete the deal that was equitable for us. LaDonshay Jackson did a great job of closing the financial paperwork and explaining the details.

From the response to my first email inquiry straight through the sales and finance process I was thoroughly impressed. Steve Mendoza made sure that I had the exact 2016 Nissan Maxima SR I prepared online and I could not possibly be more satisfied. LaDonshay Jackson provided a financing package that was even better than what my personal bank provided. The professionalism and expertise of the sales and finance staff made the entire experience simple an non-threatening which is big deal for most people when purchasing a brand new vehicle. This is one of the best car experiences I have ever had. I was fortunate enough to work with sales consultant Robert Bailey. He was very proficient, welcoming and made the car buying process easy and enjoyable. He helped me find the perfect car and exaclty what I was looking for. He was very supportive and empathic to the car accident I was in which is why I was buying a new car. He made the experience fun and got me excited about my new car. I could not recommend him enough and or going to German Nissan to all of my friends and family. Robert also took the time to walk me around the buliding, introduce me to key people and where to get my car serviced. I cannot speak highly enough of Germain Nissan. I never knew buying a car could be that much fun and not at all stressful.

Charlie was very accommodating and helpful in our car selection process. He was happy to show us multiple cars upon my request, and didn't get frustrated when I asked to see a different one (several times!). The certified used car warranty is amazing, and really put our minds at ease. Deezy was spot on with the financing portion - well informed and clear in his explanations of different warranty's available to us. He was quick but thorough and the electronic pad used made for the most efficient car buying transaction we've ever had. We love our new (to us) Pathfinder, and are really impressed with the customer service we received at Germain Nissan. We will definitely be back when we're ready for our next car!

While searching Cars.com, I found the 2014 NV van that I wanted at Germain Nissan, Columbus, Ohio. We did everything, including financing approval, by phone, pictures, and text. Lauren and Steve were very professional and helped me through the process. I never felt like I was being hard sold. My wife and I purchased a new (used) 2015 Altima on February 20. We are incredibly happy with our purchase, I think the product sells itself!. What really made this a great experience though was working with Steve Mendoza and Chamo Diaz. I've worked with Alan for ~6 years, leasing two Altimas back-to-back, and always had a good experience. Upon the impending end of my latest lease, we were considering buying it out or purchasing a used car. Alan showed us a wide range of options and advised the best course, and then gently showed us options with additional features, including a lonely Infinity sitting on the lot. Lured in by the power, features and quality, we made the purchase. One of the most impressive things was Alan, Chad and LaDonshay were able to get all the paperwork wrapped up in <1 hour so we could get out of there for a family event. They were clearly hustling, and the effort was appreciated. I've always had a good experience at Germain Nissan and would suggest both the dealership and the staff to anyone looking for a new or used car.

Haven't bought a car in about 14 years so I was a little leary about the prospect of going to a dealership...Did my research online for about 5 months, narrowed down the type of car I wanted and waited. I was promptly called by Steve to see if I wanted to set up a test drive and to check it out, so I did on the following Monday......Everyone at the dealership was pleasant when I arrived and as I was early, I met with Steve a few minutes later...We sat and talked for a while, took a test drive and then talked some more....I decided I was interested, there was no pressure, and we went from there....After ironing out all the particulars, I met with Adam in the finance department and did some easy paperwork....Both Steve and Adam were very friendly and professional, and the car buying experience was much smoother than I had anticipated....I left and came back the next day to pick up the car because I had my other car to drive home that day, and when I arrived the car was spotless and ready to go......Thanks Steve and Adam for making it a painless experience.

I've run Clean Fuels Ohio, a non-profit focused on advanced fuels and vehicle technologies for several years. The organization supports many alternatives including natural gas, propane, biofuels, electric vehicles, hybrids and more. For my own family we decided that the Nissan Leaf would be the best fit as an additional car. We got a great deal on a very nice 2013 Leaf with low mileage. I decided to shop several dealers so I could compare the quality of service, knowledge level of the sales rep, price, and selection - both new and used.Each of the dealers and salespeople were pleasant and all had Leafs in stock, but the best was Germain Nissan. Alan Friedman is the Leaf specialist at Nissan, and took that role seriously. He never applied any pressure but just gave honest, reliable information. I knew a lot about the Leaf already but learned more from Alan. He obviously had kept up with Nissan's information about the Leaf, but what impressed me most was his deep and nuanced knowledge base gained from ongoing interactions with many of Germain's Leaf customers. The specialists at the other dealerships did not match this knowledge base. Unfortunately, one sales representative gave information I knew to be false, based on my own knowledge of electric vehicles.I would encourage anyone in the market for any electric vehicle (not just the Leaf) to shop multiple dealers before deciding on a car, but if you are interested in the Leaf, be sure to visit Alan at Germain Nissan.Sam Spofforth, Executive DirectorClean Fuels Ohio

Eric was really easygoing and not pushy. He didn't try to rush me into a decision and made sure I got a chance to look at all the cars I was interested in. I went into the dealership with an idea of what I was looking for in a vehicle but was unable to verbalize it. Within a few questions John Holman III was able to narrow down what I was looking for to 2 car models. A few questions later he took me to not only the car that had everything I need but in two colors I really liked. Personally I think the car is purple, but it is labeled as red. Either way John was able to help me find exactly what I want, and I didn't feel like I was buying a car during the visit. It just felt like I was checking out the lot with someone else who is interested in cars not a salesman, and on top of it all we have the same birthday. I'd never gone through a dealership to buy a certified used car before. This was a fantastic car-buying experience! I went in with a particular car in mind that I had seen online. Charlie had it ready for me and I test-drove it. I went to another dealership to drive another make of car, didn't like it, and set up with Charlie to come back the next day to make a deal on the Murano I had driven. When I showed up that day, another used Murano had become available. Charlie was great and let me drive that one, which I ended up buying.Adam Cahill did a fantastic job of explaining my financing and setting me up.When I took possession of my Murano that following weekend, Charlie spent time with me going over everything that I needed to know to use all of the features on my car/Everyone there was so friendly and accommodating. It made it a really enjoyable experience. My eleven year old son was with me during all of this, and Charlie engaged him in conversation and made him a part of the whole process.I've already recommended Charlie to my friends!

I had an excellent experience with Germain Nissan of Columbus! The vehicles were fair priced, the facility was nice and clean, but what really won me over was how polite, courteous, and honest the staff was. I have never been to a dealership, or any other place that offers world class service like the staff does at Germain Nissan. Although all staff members were great, there was one that stood above the rest, and that is Mr. John Holman. I came from out of town to purchase a vehicle here, and Mr. Holman was kind enough to pick me up from my arrival point, and drive me to the dealership. Once there, I was able to test drive the vehicle, complete the paperwork, and drive off with my new vehicle in a couple of hours. Mr. Holman was polite and professional at all times, and even offered beverages such as coffee and water to ensure that I was taken care of during my visit. Mr. Holman represents both the pinnacle of professionalism, and customer care. I usually never write reviews, however I was extremely impressed with the experience I had at Germain Nissan, and needed to give credit where credit is due. I will definitely be back if I need another vehicle, and highly recommend Germain Nissan of Columbus to anyone in need of a vehicle, and excellent service. I have to say I came into this car shopping experience a little jaded. I had leased my previous vehicle from a different "mega" dealer, and had planned on giving them my business again. But after three trips to them in one week they were unwilling to make me the deal I needed on a new lease. I then went to Germain Nissan and it was like a breath of fresh air! John Holman greeted us within a minute of being on the lot. He was courteous and knowledgeable, and did NOT employ any pressure tactics, which is one of my biggest pet peeves about car shopping. After many disappointing trips to other dealers closer to my home, I found Germain Nissan and more importantly, I found Robert Bailey. He was an incredibly helpful sales consultant. I found the car I was looking for, a used Honda Element, online. Many dealers had one but it seemed none were as good as they were presented on the web. I made lots of trips to look and/or test drive but most salesmen didn't seem to care if I liked the vehicle or not. Things changed when I got to Germain Nissan's Robert Bailey. I first spoke to him on the phone to find out if the vehicle was still on the lot. He said he'd call me back in just a few minutes....and he did! It was there, so I made arrangements to travel to Columbus, OH from Maysville, KY. Robert had the Element waiting for me to test drive and paperwork already in line if I decided to buy. The car was in excellent shape, just as it was described. I took my test drive. I found I loved the vehicle. I got back to the dealership around lunch time and they offered me pizza. I didn't go for the pizza, but I said yes, I wanted the car. Robert worked to accommodate me on paying for the vehicle. When it came to the money, all went well. Everyone I dealt with in person was fantastic! But the biggest kudos again go to Robert Tyrone Bailey. He made buying a car a thoroughly enjoyable experience. He more than made up for the bad experiences I had at other places. On a five star review, I'd give him 6 stars. And I'd recommend him to anyone wanting to buy a new or used vehicle from this dealership. The experience couldn't have been better.

I spent some time talking with Steve Mendoza figuring out the type of car that would best fit me. I am an upright bass player and needed something that would fit my instrument along with other items and people, and it had to be a hatchback. After about a month of looking he called with something that fit my requirements (budget, space, style, etc...). Took it for a test drive and started the paperwork shortly after. Steve is also a musician and understood what I needed incredible well, was not "pushy" like the stereotype of most people in the sales industry and he knew his product. After a great experience in buying our first car from Germain Nissan, we knew that if they had the car we wanted we would not hesitate to buy it. Steve Mendoza and Josh were very helpful and patient with are changing requests. They found the car we wanted, added our updates and it is beautiful. The people at Germaine Nissan were very helpful and friendly. Alan was attentive without being pushy. Though they did not have the car I came to see, I was able to test drive a newer version to get feel for the car. I didn't buy a car on my first trip as a had intended to get a used car and they were fresh ou. However, Alan called as soon as they got a new shipment of used Leafs and I came right back. Went to go check out a used Nissan Leaf with my wife on July 5th, 2015. Pulled onto the lot. Not a lot of people about so they were not busy. Got out and started looking around. Not one approached us welcoming or asking if we needed any help finding anything. Walked the whole Nissan lot and could not find a the car. I thought maybe on the show room floor, So we stepped inside. I saw one salesperson, sort of look up and then went back to what he was doing. There was not a lot going on. Still not one person on that lot that worked there even batted an eye. We finally left and went over to RIcart Nissan. There were not busy ether but at least they acknowledge we were there and were very welcoming and more than willing to help. From other review I have read on Germain, seems to be a major problem with this place. Going to steer clear in the future.

I have been shopping for a certified Nissan Murano for quite some time and have had so many bad experiences at other places. I live in the Chicagoland area and have had to broaden my search. There was no pressure at all at this dealership. Having just come from a bad test drive/high pressure situation I told Matthew I probably wouldn't be buying that day. He totally understood and was informative on the test drive, very personable. I liked the 2015 Rogue, but the 2014 was more my price range. Matthew had no problem showing me that one instead and once I realized i WOULD be buying that day, was able to get my monthly payments where I wanted them. Greg was very helpful in explaining the car once it was ready to go. I would definitely recommend this dealership.

I worked with sales consultant Charlie Gregory who informed me that the pre-owned car I was interested in was having some work done on it. He called me when it was ready and I showed up for a test drive with my 14 yr old daughter who is developmentally disabled. He was very nice to her and not put off by her tendency to grab his hand his ears and even his nose. In fact all of the people who worked there were very kind to her. It was a Friday night and I'm sure everyone had plans but Charlie and Sarah Seitzinger took the time to make sure that everything was just right. Also,Assistant Sales Manager Jeremy Ross made me feel like I was buying the most expensive car on the lot, even though I was buying a used Maxima (great car)!

I can also say that Greg Knox who introduce me to the features of the car was made simple and easy to understand, which was very important to me since when it comes to extra's on cars i have bit of problem understanding. Super professional! I had a great car buying experience. The team members, Lauren and Daryl, were awesome. They had so much knowledge about the vehicles! I initially worked with Lauren when I came in over the weekend to test drive a few vehicles. She made me feel at ease and gave me all the information I needed to make an informed purchase. She didn't pressure me to buy at that time- just let me have the time I needed to think it over. I had gone to another dealership and did not have a good experience so I returned on Monday to Germain Nissan of Columbus. Everybody we came in contact with at Germain Nissan was top notch! Our search began 6 weeks ago when we were told by West Hills Nissan in Pittsburgh that our Nissan Pathfinder was deemed unfixable under the recall for Strut Tower Corrosion. Corrosion that ultimately snapped my steering column while driving. Fortunately, when it snapped I was traveling at a slow speed in a residential area. After driving a 2013 Altima loaner from West Hills Nissan as Morley group took the reigns, 6 weeks later, they purchase the Pathfinder under code of the recall. That is when my search heightened. Loaner turned back in and we needed a car. After what amounted to a 6 week test drive, I knew I wanted an Altima. I also knew I wanted a 5th generation body style which had us seeking a 2013 or newer. We looked at and drove several 2013s in Pittsburgh area, all with 35-45k in miles. I decided to expand the search, and googled "Nissan Dealerships in Ohio" That is when I found Germain and what appeared to be the perfect car. a Certified 2014 Altima S with sports package and only 3286 miles. I sent an email to check availability and Lauren Kuhn responded almost immediately. Lauren was fantastic through entire process. Being nearly 3 hours away, I wanted to know everything before making the trip. She was always available and answered every question. After several emails, texts and phone calls over 4 days, we made the trip Saturday morning. My wife and I we so pleased with every aspect of the dealership. It was a seamless process and we were made to feel comfortable throughout. Special thank you to Lauren and Karl. We will return to Germain Nissan when the need arises to replace our Rogue. I have been taking my car in for maintenance for over 2 years. They always provide great service. I speak to John most of the time, but everyone I have dealt with here has been friendly, helpful, and willing to take the time to explain any issues or concerns. I never feel that they are trying to cheat me; when I am concerned about something, they will tell me if I need to address it now or at my next visit. I really feel as if my business is appreciated and I feel that my car is in good hands. They have customer service down to a perfect science. I don't even consider taking my car anywhere else.

After several disappointing experiences with other Nissan dealers, I was contacted by Jeremy Ross with Germain Nissan. I was set on either buying a new Xterra with a manual transmission (which I didn't realize was such a rare car to find in the Midwest), or I was going to be moving on to other brands of cars. At the point he contacted me, several Xterra's had been sold by other dealers as I was talking to them about buying that particular car, therefore I was soured on the thought of repeating that experience. Jeremy assured me he would do everything in his power to find and transfer in an Xterra that fit my requirements, and promised to do so in a short time frame. I was very skeptical that he could pull this off, and was prepared to be disappointed in either the options available, the price, or the availability of the car in general, but Jeremy came through with a lead on one, and pulled strings with the other dealership until they finally agreed to transfer it to Germain. Although I did have to compromise on the color, I am completely thrilled with my car in every other respect, and he was able to have it driven into Columbus by my deadline to return my rental. True commitment to customer satisfaction. Excellent job, and I would highly recommend Germain Nissan, and Jeremy, to anyone looking for a Nissan.

I had an appointment to come in and pick up my new Altima but when I showed up it was not ready. They had to complete the paperwork for me to sign and had to clean and prep the car. What should have taken 15 min took over and hour and a half just because they did not prepare in advance of my schedule appointment (4 days in advance was scheduled). I recently had an issue with my Nissan Armada transmission that caused me to have to have my car towed. I recently moved to the Columbus area so I wasn't sure where to have it towed so I decided to call the nearest Nissan Dealership which was Germain Nissan on Morse Road. I am so glad I did! From the moment I talked to Tony to see if I could have my car towed there I felt like I was in good hands. He promptly called me on Monday morning to let me know that they would be looking at my car that day and he would get back to me with an estimate by the end of the day. Naturally when you have issues with a transmission you expect that you are going to be paying thousands for the repairs, especially at a dealership. I was certain I was going to get a call from Tony saying I needed a new transmission or a re-build. I am happy to say I was wrong and that was not the case. Tony called me back and it turned out to be a transmission cooling line that had busted. What a tremendous relief. Tony gave me an estimate for the repair and it was far below what I expected. He said he would order the parts and I could expect my car to be ready on Wednesday. The next day I got a call from Tony saying they received the parts and that my car was ready for me to pick up, a day early to my surprise. When I went to pick it up the price was actually lower than he had initially quoted. At that point I knew I had found my new service department. Honestly how many service departments would have actually been honest about the repair. From past experience with many, I can tell you that the majority would have told me that a new transmission was necessary. I thank Tony very much for the friendly, and quick service and the honesty he provied me! I was so impressed with the customer service I received from Tony in the service departhment that over the weekend I returned to Germain Nissan to look at used cars for my 18 year old son. I ended up purchasing a 2011 Nissan Altima from Lauren Kuhn. I have to say I am just as impressed with the sales department as I am with the service department. Lauren was very helpful, friendly and patient and even stayed late to help us in deciding which car to purchase. Let me just say that buying cars is my least favorite thing to do, I litterally dread when it is time to purchase a vehicle. Lauren made this buying experience very pleasant. We purchased 2 new cars at the same time!! We love our 2014 Juke SL and 2014 Murano SL. SUPER rides! You can imagine all the emotions of buy a car, only doubled. Mike Benton and Robert ? made the whole experience enjoyable. Such positive customer service. We wanted a no haggle type negotiation and that's what we got. Mike and Robert were FANTASTIC!! They are extremely knowledgeable of the whole process and worked together to make this purchase happen. It was a big purchase for us and we were not pressured at all. We had good communications all the way around. The customer service they provided was superior. They knew every detail of the accessories of the cars and how to work, set and adjust them. We were impressed at how knowledgeable they were with the manufacturing of the car and the security features of both vehicles, and the differences between the 2 cars. We could only imagine how hard it would be for them to differentiate the features of the two, especially while 'showing' the cars together to us. When we are ready to replace these two cars, if Mike and Robert are around, we would most definitely do business with them again. It was a pleasure.

I was car shopping for the 1st time in my life, I found the 2011 Nissan Altima coupe online. Nathan Weeks responded to my request for information and I am so glad he did! I drove almost 2 hours to Columbus with an appointment at Germain and one at Ricart to look at similar Altimas. All of the staff at Germain were wonderful when I arrived, from the greeting when I walked in the showroom til when I met Nathan. He was very polite and kind. Went for a test drive and Nathan was able to answer every question I had, he proved very knowledgeable about the car.There was absolutely no pressure just reassurance that they wanted to put me in a car that I loved. I did go to my other appointment at Ricart, it did not take me long to go back to Germain, the were pushy, tried to pressure me regarding financing. I RAN back to Germain and their wonderful team. I went to Germain looking to see about a new car. I wasn't in a great need for one but wanted to see what was out there and might be worked out. The sales staff was friendly and helpful maybe a little to all over and not focusing at first on what I was looking for but they did get there. In the end they went the extra mile and even went to Kettering to get me the car with what I wanted and got it to me by the end of the day. They went above normal work to make the deal work and were on higher than average side of my trade in value and fair market for my new vehicle did take some negotiation but they were willing to work for my business. I am very happy and would be willing when time comes to come back to Germain because they made my first true new car (not new used car) a good experience and I am a satisfied customer. Met Germain salesman Brandon Kilgore at the 2104 Columbus Auto Show. He was friendly, engaging, and extremely customer service-oriented. My wife and I were actually at the show to check out the Mazda CX-5, and even took a test drive. Then, as we explored the rest of the show, we met Brandon, and he showed us how the Nissan Rogue compared to the CX-5, and gave us his card. We dropped into Germain Nissan two weeks later, and asked for Brandon. Again, he was friendly, engaging, and no-pressure. He took us for a test drive in the 2014 Rogue, and we were sold. I originally contacted Germain Nissan (Columbus) to get a feel of the market for the Altima. When I called, they transferred me to Nathan and he immediately seemed down to earth and genuinely concerned with my needs (as opposed to hitting a sales quota). He did not push me to come in an buy that day. He simply asked if I would be interested in coming in for a test drive. I'm sure most vehicle purchases include this statement, but I truly went in with zero intentions of buying anything. However, Nathan made me an offer I couldn't refuse... a higher model than I wanted and still got it within my target budget. Also, he took the time to introduce me to everyone that would be involved in process of leasing my vehicle (from finance to maintenance shop). Overall, Nathan and everyone Germain Nissan were a true joy to work with. They have a returning customer.

I wanted to let you know about a fantastic experience I had with yourdealership service department. More specifically With Greg West. MyDaughter Erin is a sophomore at OSU and we bought her a 2013 Altima thisyear. As she was driving 2 weeks ago Friday her car went through a pothole and immediately began losing air. We live out of State so after afew calls a tow service changed her tire to the spare. The next day Icalled your dealership and was connected to Greg. I explained thesituation to him including the fact we live out of State and Erin reallywasn't sure how to take care of this as this was her first time with anykind of car trouble . I just bought a used 06 Nissan Maxima. I went to Alan Friedman at Germain Nissan because my fiance had told me to go there. My fiance has bought 2 cars from Alan in the past and all he had talked about was how good of service and experience he had there. I went to look at cars and had no idea what kind of car I wanted. Alan worked with my budget and he was able to find the perfect car for me. At first it was a little over my budget but he worked with me and I was able to get the Maxima. this was a definite upgrade from my previous car and I never thought I could find a car like this for the price. I had to sleep on it, and Alan was very good with keeping in touch with me. I then went back in the next night and after several hours of trying to work out my credit situation, Alan was very nice and worked with us! I absolutely love my car and love driving it. The next time I am looking for a car, I will be going back to Alan.

My wife and I went to this Nissan dealer to look at cars to lease. Alan let us test drive a Nissan Sentra. We were just finishing ourlease on our Honda Civic. When we were talking to Alan, the price range along with deposit was a little higher than we could afford each month. I have just recently purchased a used 08 Nissan Altima from Alan Friedman and I absolutely love the car! This in fact is the 2nd car in which I have purchased from Alan and I have had a great experience in both instances. Alan is very easy to talk with and was very good with communication on getting back and forth to me about the cars I was interested in at the time. I am not an easy person to always get along with when I am buying a car because obviously I want to feel that I got a deal. Alan has worked with me and made me a very happy car owner in both situations. In fact I have referred 2 or 3 friends and family to see him in which they have also bought cars from him. He is a very happy guy and I know even when I show up for an oil change or a car wash Alan is like a friend and talks with me which I have never had at any other dealerships! The dealership looks and acts very professional and friendly from the receptionst, to Alan Friedman to the finance guy and the other employees.Through our many trial drives on the pathfinder and the Rogue we were not rushed or pushed to make a decision but infromed on each vehicle that hepled in our decision to buy a 2014 Rogue. While we shopped the deal to other dealers in columbus, in the end Alan helped to broker the best deal. The transaction went very smooth to the agreed upon price throgh closing. Alan spent a a good amount of time explanning how the Rogue worked with all its refined electronics etc. This is the second nissan purchased through Germain and worked with Alan on both and always a very smooth and professional experience. Also went with my daughter Jen to Germian again working with Alan another good experience. First time going to this dealership and ended up getting a new vehicle from them. It was one of the best experiences I have had at a car dealership. Not the typical dealership I had come to expect both in terms of atmosphere and people - everything was very pleasant. I really liked the guy who helped us select the vehicle, Alan. He was fantastic guy, and if it wasn't for his patience and attention, we probably would not have got the car. He explained everything very well to us and gave us good information on purchasing our first all-electric vehicle. The other people we dealt with at dealership Brandon, Sarah, and Adam were all great, too. Overall, it was very easy for us to get a new vehicle from them, and I would recommend them to others.

Let me begin by stating the lease on my current vehicle (2011 Versa) ends in June. As always, I started to look around for a replacement. Some information came in the mail from Nissan Corp., but the most helpful information came from my previous sales associate: Alan Friedman. He was informative and helpful. I did not very feel he was pushing me into another Nissan. I set up a very flexible appointment to discuss my lease options. Once again, my sales representative was knowledgeable and open to listening to me concerns and interests. Although I find the entire process of the paper work to be tedious, the support staff at Germain Nissan was courteous and respectful of time. I am very happy with the upgrade to 2014 Rogue and the care and concern Alan Friedman took to make sure I was aware of the differences in the two vehicles. I recently purchased a used Camry from Germain Nissan to later find that the car came with summer tires on it. These were a nightmare in the snow and they offered to swap them out at no charge. They even came and picked my car up from my place of business and loaned me another car while they did the work. Fantastic customer service! I would normally never take the time to write anything like this, however, my experience with Germain was so horrible I felt compelled to let someone know. We wanted to buy a new Nissan Altima. Our sales person, Alan, was not friendly during most of the deal, he wasn't really unfriendly either, rather, he was there to process a transaction, absolutely no salesmanship/personality what so ever. Alan had drafted the paper work for us to sign, to buy the new car, we had asked him to go over all the numbers that were on the page, he become very frustrated, let out a long sigh and was visibly irritated. Within a minute or two, we asked if he had called for the payoff on our trade, once again his entire body language was irritation, in a frustrated tone, he said he hadn't done it because he was going over the numbers with us, that he had already gone over. At that point we decided we didn't have to buy a car from Alan. We were about to spend $30k on a new car, that Alan would profit from, and he was treating us horribly. I was pretty stunned. I explained to him we were done and his "excuse" was; "I'm a New Yorker"... truly unbelievable, so because he's originally from another part of the country, he's allowed to act like a complete a hole and I'm supposed to deal with it? Nope. After we left the deanship I left the sales manager a message explaining the deal had blown up in the 11th hour and I felt it was a shame. He, Marc Cox, never called me back. Once again, I was stunned. Marc could have saved that deal if he would have picked up the phone and called us back. The next day we drove to a rival dealer and bought the car, Ricart Nissan. We had an absolute awesome experience with them. So, here's my jab back at Germain for being incredibly unprofessional and unfriendly.

Friendliness from the people in general, and Matt in particular. Explained all the features of the vehicle to me, (one thing I didn't get from Toyota when I bought my new car from them). Let me start by saying, I REALLY like Nissan products. My parent's favorite cars have been a maxima and an altima. Long story short, Germain Nissan was an incredible experience from start to finish.That being said, I called Ricart Nissan a few days ago to get some information on a few cars. The rep on the phone said that they have to deal with people in the showroom first, then they'll give me a call back. As much as I understood this, it left a bad taste in my mouth. I was in a situation where I needed a car quickly and had every intention of buying a car that evening. I wanted to get some figures over the phone, go in to sign some papers, and be done with it. That's where Daryl Erden at Germain came in. I was referred to Daryl from a friend. We were actually able to complete a transaction over the phone and through a series of text messages. I started out with some interest in a Pathfinder or a Maxima. I told him what I needed and how much I was willing to spend to get it. Instead of talking me into something that I was not comfortable spending, Daryl took the time to find the right car for me and my family. We ended up in a brand new Altima. My fiance loves it and it's perfect for everything we need. After we took care of the deal itself, through texting, we went up to the show room to sign the papers. I was impressed with how clean and professional everything was. I was used to other dealerships that are either not clean, or it seems like you're walking into a TV commercial for a circus...or both! My car was being detailed and prepared. All I needed to do was sign some papers. Did I say papers? I meant futuristic desk-screen of documents. This was the best part! Karl, the finance manager, took us into his office where everything was so streamlined that there were hardly any actual papers to sign. Just e-signatures on a flat screen built into his desk. The whole process of signing papers for a lease took about 10 minutes and we were ready to go. Which was great, considering my wife had just finished working a 12-hour shift at the hospital. Thank you Daryl and Karl for making this the hands-down best car buying experience I've ever had. I know that my next car will be a Nissan from Germain. By the way, if you read this and go in there, ask for Daryl. And tell them Mike sent you. I get $100 gift card for the referral. You can too!

I have been a Honda owner for over 16 years and wanted to just "look at" another brand. I loved the new body style of the 14' Nissan Altima so I went to Germain Nissan to browse at a few cars. Mr. Michael Banton was, lucky for me, assisting someone else but was more than happy to help me as well. He let me look without hovering, but seemed to be at my beck and call when I needed him. It was a Sunday during the holidays and pouring down the rain and even though I had no intention of buying that day, I ended up with a brand new Altima, that I love so much. I knew where I needed to be on payment and price and the people went above and beyond to give me what I needed. I appreciated that more than anything. Because of my purchasing that day, the group stayed past closing and they have no idea how wonderful it was to feel sorry for them for having to stay, but not once did they make me feel like I needed to get out of there so they all could just go home. They're a wonderful group at Germain Nissan and I will recommend them to anyone and everyone.

We just purchased our third Nissan Rogue from Germain Nissan and had another great experience working with Mike Banton. When it comes to knowing the car, you can't beat his knowledge. We liked how we were shown all the features of the vehicle and how they worked. The facility was bright, cheery, and their finance center with their new technology was an experience in and of itself. There was no guessing what your options were when it came to warrantees, etc. We also met the Service Manager and one of the lead managers, Rick. I had no intentions of buying a new car but received a letter from Germain Nissan stating they would like to purchase my 2011 Rogue. I was going there for an oil change and asked what the offer would be just to see. I ended up purchasing a brand new Murano!! I have been visiting Germain Nissan for a few years, just for maintenance to my Altima. While in the waiting room, Michael Banton has always been extremely friendly and welcoming with all guests. That alone said he enjoyed his career and had a great personality. So, when I decided to purchased a new vehicle, I knew he would be my guy! My first exceptional experience with Germain Nissan this year was with the service department. I had received an estimate from another provider and felt a second opinion was needed since the cost was estimated at 1,000+. The service team quickly confirmed the same diagnosis, however they were able to offer a solution that fixed my vehicle without the high cost. I drove away very happy that I didn't put $1,000 into my 9 year old vehicle. Knowing that my vehicle was aging, I decided to start looking for a replacement. I really loved my Nissan Murano, so Matt Wihelm in sales had his work cut out for him since I was prepared to drive "Murray" until his wheels fell off! Matt walked me through multiple options and I ultimately decided to purchase a new Maxima. The process was very easy and I didn't feel like I was in a cut throat negotiation to get a lower price. Thanks Matt and team for making my purchase experience enjoyable. I promise I won't drive 100 down the freeway....even though I know it goes that fast!

I think that Matt that did a good job executing the sale of my car. He was very knowledgeable and accomodating. I do wish that he would have been more open to negotiating the price of the car. I was given many common responses used car salesmen use when not willing to consider negotiating. I did in the end, buy the car, but the reality is I would have felt much better about my purchase if he would have been willing to negoiate, even just a little. Thank you!

The first time I stopped by Germain it was around closing time and the office doors were locked. As I proceeded to my car Matt Wihelm who was also assisting another couple gave me his card and took a moment to thank be for stopping by. He was also able to work around my crazy work schedule and communicate via text and email. By the time I returned to the dealership there were no unanswered question and I never felt pressure to make a purchase on the spot. Everyone was friendly and went out of there way to make me feel like I was a welcomed part of the Germain family. I without a doubt will make Germain my first and last stop for all future purchases!

Matt was excellent to work with. The exact vehicle we wanted was not on the lot. He found the one we wanted and got it to us. He delivered it to our house, washed, waxed, and a full tank of gas. Lazy salesman or just could care less. Had to beg him to call me back several times. Strung me along for the past week and was suppose to call me back on Friday and still has not. Don't waste your time if you are buying used. New cars, perhaps they care more about the customer. Very upset,...... poor dealership!

Our salesman, Matt Wilhelm was awesome. Very helpful with helping us pick the car that was right for our family. The process was as easy as could be. I looked at several different brands and worked with other local dealerships before I visited German Nissan and by far Matt and the entire team at Germain were the friendliest and easiest to work with. Matt was super nice, no pressure, and gave me what I asked for....not what he wanted to sell me. He stayed in my price and was very straight forward with me about everything. I was in for my oil change on my 2010 Cube and I saw the fully loaded 2013. Matt was friendly and knowledgeable & quick to fill me in on all of the upgrades in the newer model. I loved it and had my wife come in. He answered all of our questions and got all of the paperwork processed quickly for us. I traded in my 2010 and drove out with the upgraded beauty... Matt listened to our needs and made suggestions on how we could get my wife out of her uncomfortable car to an upgraded Cube. Matt made everything easy and a seamless upgrade. She actually came in the next day and he helped her, too. (That is under her review). The dealership is great and we love the free car washes!

Salesman replied to online looking by phone. Salesman did all he could to get us there & make us happy with our choice of vehicles, color and selection of a vehicle. Believe they could have done a better job on giving a ball park monthly cost for the other vehicles we looked at. None was given on the other three we looked at except total price and that they would be cheaper.

We were looking for a car for me to drive so I could keep up with my parents and son. Phil Hicks and Ralph Winters were exceptional. The went above and beyond to help get us in what we could afford. No pressure, just outstanding customer service. The gentleman in finance was wonderful as well, but can't remember his name. I will recommend you to all that are looking for a new car. I couldn't have asked to be treated better, my 12 year old son even commented on the experience. That says a lot from a 12 year old that has better things to do than sit in a dealership. took my car into Nissan to get a diagnostic from engine light being on. Service tech called and stated what repairs needed to be done gasket replacement, thermostat replacement, and spark plug replacement and I approved work. Service tech called and stated that repairs had been done and car was ready. 20 minutes after picking up car service engine light came back on. Called tech and he stated that some other work needed to be done and that is why light came on and stated what repairs needed to be done which were engine fan replacement. Took car to another dealership to get a 2nd diagnostic and new tech stated that 2nd report stated issue that needed to be done which was spark plug cylnders were not firing right which this was previous repairs from the diagnostic from Nissan. Called Nissan to have them look at car again and they stated that new found issues were from wear and tear and had nothing to do with repairs that were done. My question to them was why didnt the first diagnostic pick up these issues when it was run????

I was referred to Brad by a friend and he did a great job. His knowledge of the vehicles and friendliness allowed me to feel comfortable during my process. I could tell that he was on my side and really wanted to sell me the car that I wanted, and that he was not just focused on making a sale or making money. I went to Germain Nissan New Allbany for an oil change and a multi-point vehicle inspection. Service technican, Anthony Robertson, came to me and said I needed a new battery. So, I had a new battery installed. Later, while at home I checked by past service invoices from them and saw that I had bought a new battery from them on 4/15/12!! I felt that I had been SCAMMED! How could the battery have gone bad after 1 yr and 7,000 miles! I don't think so!! I returned to Germain Nission New Albany and showed them the invoice from 1 yr ago and told them I wanted my money back. Service Manager, Brent Ross, said that my battery was bad. I doubt that unless of course they sold me an inferior battery in 2012 or used a dummy battery to test. Batteries don't go bad after 1 yr and 7,000 miles! He said that the old battery (1 yr old!) was under warranty so they would refund my money. I have several questions for Mr. Ross: why didn't they check their computer to see I purchased a battery a year ago, he said that the day of purchase is printed on the battery so why didn't they see that when they installed a new one? I feel that they took advantage of an elderly women and had I not kept good records and had my invoice from last year, I would have been out $155.46. My advice to all is beware of the service department at Germain Nissan New Albany...they can't be trusted!!

A friend of mine was turning in her "lease vehicle" and she knew I loved her car and was interested in buying that car. She bought a new Nissan on a Saturday evening, told them I was interested in her lease she was turning in, and asked them to call me on Monday morning. They honored her request, and I was able to have opportunity to purchase that vehicle. Apparently, there were some other sales people who had interested parties in this particular "brand and model", but they honored my friends request and called me first. We worked out all the details on the phone on a Monday morning, and I was able to buy this fabulous Nissan Murano that I had been wanting for a long time. The courtesy and respect I was shown goes beyond words. The fact that they honored my friends request, in my opinion, shows they value their current customers and will go the extra mile to gain "new" customers. I had to travel 170 miles to get the Nissan and I will do it again when the time comes to work with Germain Nissan, Columbus, Ohio and the sales people and managers that I dealt with. Kudos to Germain..........

I just bought my second car from Germain. This time it was a fabulous new Nissan Murano. The financing was pressure-free and they really worked with me to get a good deal. I am well-informed and experienced about the car buying process so i recognize a good deal when i see one. The value of my trade in was fair as well. I should also mention that I sold Germain a used care of mine as well in a separate deal and was treated well. Actually I live 100 miles away from Columbus but I still go out of my way to work with Germain when it is time to buy a car. I have negotiated with less-than-fair dealers in my own city in the past, and i have no interest to deal with them. Jeremy and Josh were very helpful and well-informed. Thanks again to this wonderful dealer!!!

Brad made my first leasing exerience relaxed and informed. 1 important courtesy that stood out for us was that we called to dealership on our way there and Brad Jordan consequently answered the call. We told him what vehicles we were coming to tryout and view and that we would be there in about 15-20 minutes. When we arrived, he had already pulled the vehicles we wanted to see to front of dealership and had dealer tags on them for us to take a test drive with if we chose to. This was awesome and very professional for him to do this and he will definitely get referrals from us just for doing that simple courtesy for us. I purchased my Murano at this dealership and always took it here for service. Had my worst experience today when I went for routine oil change. I did have a prior appointment (8:45am), reached there at 8:55am and was told service should be done in a hour (as always I waited there). Didn't hear anything until 10:35am and then I got a phone call (even though I was there). I was told that brake pad needs replaced, wipers need replaced and filters need replaced and given an oral estimate of $300. I agreed but had a doubt on how brake pad replacement plus filters would cost only $300. I got another phone call at 12:12 pm (again I was waiting over there) and was told that vehicle should be ready in 15 minutes. I immediately went to the cash counter and stood there waiting for the advisor to come there but no luck. After 10 minutes, I started looking around and found the keys on a tray near the cashier. I claimed those keys and handed over the credit card for payment (with no explanation of the service done which costed me $300 but no brake pad replacement). One line item I see in the invoice was intake cleaning service which costed around $130. Wondering why any cleaning would cost around $130 and what's the return on this investment!!!Changed my rating to good as the service manager personally called me and explained the work that was done. He also apologized for all the customer unfriendliness. This is what differentiates a great to not-so-great companies. Every company does have a rough day and how they overcome such a bad day is what differentiates a successful company from the not so ones. Thank you Germain Nissan for valuing customer feedback!!!

I first called for a quote for my broken door handle. I was quoted $176 Labor and $110 Parts. I took the car in to get fixed. They never called to tell me the car was done. I called and they said it was done and would wash it for me right away. I get there, went to cashier and was charged $129 ($18 more than quoted)for the parts, plus an additional $4.16 for 'shop supplies'. Went out to the car and it was not washed and to top it off, big old greasy boot print on my floor mat. I will NEVER go back here again. There loss, as I own 2 Nissans. PS I went there because it was closest Nissan Dealership. My mistake.

I recently bought a new car. I had a very nice Honda Accord, but if it had been a dog, it would have been long dead, and it started showing signs that it was on a quick decline in health. My bills were such that I could take on the debt of a new car as long as I found something SUPER economical. I researched what could be an affordable yet awesome option and went looking around on-line. My dad was a life-time Ford employee, and because of that I receive a 10% discount on a new Ford. I found a couple of Fiesta's and Focus' at Ricart Ford so my husband and I went there to test drive them. When we got there, we were greeted by a young whippersnapper-type who seemed very nice. We told him that we were still in the just looking stage, but he convinced us to come in and see what the payments would be. Before we knew it my credit score was being pulled and I was being SERIOUSLY bullied and lied to by their finance guy into buying a car that I clearly could not afford. When we decided to go, the finance guy literally chased us out to our car, and we had to peel out of the lot like bank robbers. Fighting Post Traumatic Stress Disorder we decided to test drive a Versa (which scored very high in my on-line search for Most Affordable New Car) at Germain Nissan near Easton. I had e-mailed back and forth with one of their sales people, but when we arrived he was with another customer so we were helped by Ladonshay Jackson (aka. Deezy). He was the most down-to-earth and honest salesperson I have ever worked with. He didn't sugar coat anything about the car. We even chucked about the car's lack of horsepower when we took it on the highway. He basically GOT that I needed low monthly payments instead of a fancy, tricked out car and sold us instead on the roominess of the vehicle and on Nissan's awesome service plan after purchase (almost as good a leased car's service plan!). Honestly, I just needed a super-reliable, affordable car, but Germain Nissan's amazing team was what made me choose my new Versa. I HIGHLY recommend Germain Nissan if you want to have a positive car-buying experience. Their staff is fun and friendly and NOT full of b.s.!

Between the lack of customer parking (having a large inventory is only good until customers can't park due to it), people yelling about being ignored by their sales man, being told by my sales man that I should ask my family for advice because 'it is my money', and then my sales man going off with another sales persons customers after he sent me out on a 5 minute test drive....well lets just say I walked out of there as quickly as I possibly could. The one saving grace? The girl at the hostess stand that had to smooth over all the angry customers.

My wife and I purchased a car from Germain before and we really like Nissans. Even though another Nissan dealer is closer to us, we prefer to deal with Germain. Our intent that day was not to buy a car, but to get a repair done on one of our other Nissans and to look around. Brad put up with us as we looked at many cars and finally settled in on the Altima as it wss the roomiest. Having chosen the type of car for us, Brad found us a new/used one (current year model) and in our price range and with low mileage. Having agreed on the car, we had a delema: how to get two cars back home. My wife doesn't like to drive the car that was in the shop and she was nervous about driving the new car in heavy traffic to get home. Brad stepped up and drove the new car to my house (and had a friend drive him back). At my home he went over all the details again. For the distance he had to travel to do that, he went above and beyond what other dealers would do, and we appreciated that.

One thing I do not like from dealers is when they rush you and you feel like you are a piece of meat and they are vultures on for the kill. I drove to Germain Nissan in Columbus from Cincinnati because they had the vehicle that I wanted and a competitive price. My wife and I were very impressed with the level of customer service that we received from Jeremy. He was very knowledgeable about the vehicle we purchased and provided us with several tips and suggestions. We purchased a pre-owned vehicle and it looked brand new when we drove it off the lot! The only trouble we encountered occurred when we got home. Unfortunately one of the brake calibers was not working properly. Germain Nissan took full responsibility and corrected the issue immediately. I definitely recommend this dealership to anyone looking for a relaxed, educated and "no hassle" sales experience.

We have leased 3 new Altimas (2 recently)from Germain Nissan, and higly recommend our salesman, Brad Jordan, from whom we leased the last two. Brad is not only personable, helpful, and honest, but is also very knowledgeable about the Nissan vehicle.What I like most about Brad is that he is "pre-emptive" in contacting my husband and me about upcoming special deals, without sounding "pushy". He comes across as caring about and understanding our needs. I recently recommended Brad and Germain Nissan to my sister and nephew, and both have purchased new Nissan Altimas within the past few months.Also, I do want to mention that the the Finance Specialist, Karl Davis, was extremely helpful and did a wonderful job of leading us through the financing process. He was expeditious and transparent, which we appreciated. Also, although making us aware of extra available services, he at no time tried to pressure us into buying those services.By the way, we love our new Nissan Altimas, and would higly recommend buying or leasing from Brad, Karl and Germain Nissan.

Mike is a great car salesman, my wife and leased a Nissan Morano in 2009 from Mike, but we told him that we wished we could get a Nissan Pathfinder, but it costs too much but to call us if he found one that we could afford. Amazingly three years later he called saying Nissan was having a special buy back program on leases and with a $4,000 and 3 lease payments we could get a new 2012 Nissan Pathfinder for what we are paying for our Morano. We did so and I think Mike is great!!!

I had been in Germain Nissan back in September before the current people I worked with were there and didnt have a great experience. I went back in January to buy a used murano and worked with Jeremy Ross as my salesman and had an awesome experience. Everything was explained to me before I test drove the Murano and once I got back to start paperwork everything was explained to me every step of the way by Jeremy, Phil and Kevin. They were all very helpful and comforting in the situation I was in. I was very nervous about the financing as I had never had a car payment before and they all were very supportive. This experience could not have been any better then it was. I found a scratch on my car called and they fixed it right away. I would send anyone in there who asked me where to go for a car. I had a great experience and will certainly go back when I go to buy something else and will send anyone looking for a car in there also.

We saw a posting for a used Mazda 6 at an incredible price. We made a phone call and were able to talk to someone about the car. We came in, were helped immediately since the car had been moved up to the door. We had no wait, got excellent financing, and bought the car. We came back a week later to have a light check and received fine service. This was a great experience--great price for a fine car and friendly treatment.

I originally went in for service on a 2011 Juke, with which I was VERY unhappy- actually, it was more along the lines of "HATE"... but that is a story for a different rating system!The team at Germain bent over backwards to keep me as a customer, working with me to trade in the Juke for a much more suitable vehicle for my driving habits- a 2012 Altima. I have purchased two vehicles from this dealership. I swore after my first experience that I wouldn't go back, but I somehow ended up getting my wife's car from the same place.The first incident, when I bought my car, I bought during a promotional period and was supposed to receive season tickets for a local sports team. When I didn't receive the tickets I called and was told that I wouldn't be getting them and was never provided a very good answer as to why. I called the dealership manager, but my calls were not returned. I also submitted something directly to Nissan USA, but they said to discuss it with the dealership.The second incident was when I purchased my wife's vehicle. I opted for the maintenence "convenience" package, where all oil-changes and basic maintenence are paid for in the monthly payment. It has proven to be anything but convenient. We were supposed to get some type of priority for getting that package. Not true. We were told to drop the car off one Saturday morning at 7am for scheduled work. We both drove over with our toddler in the car. They didn't open until 8am. The worst part about this dealership is that no one cares about how their employees lie. I gave them a '4' for their friendliness rating because they are very friendly to your face. However, everything they say is a lie so the friendliness is false.

John Rix called earlier this week to let me know he had a great opportunity for me to move from my 2009 Maxima to a 2011 Maxima with with little or no change in my lease payment. As my lease had another 14 months to run I was interested, but unsure how this could possibly be a win/win situation. I gave this dealership a "great" in all categories except price and probably should have given price a "great" too because they did allow me more on my trade in than originally agreed. Mike Banton, the sales consultant, met my requirements right off the bat. My requirements were: friendly but not over bearing, knowledgeable but not tedious, and reasonable. I bought a Nissan Versa 1.8 S hatchback. I was able to test drive it while alone in the car which I appreciated. When it came time to purchase, and I was ready to pay cash, Mike pointed out that they took $500 off if I took the Nissan 0% interest for three years payment plan. I took it. Nick Zuchegno made the paperwork a cinch. He offered extended warranty options but did not pressure me about them.If you are looking at Nissan products, I highly recommend this dealership. They are expanding their showroom right now (July 2011) so the lot is a bit broken up, but when its done I believe it will be great. We attend to return to this dealership when the 2012 vehicles come out. We will be looking at the Juke.

They don't beat around the bush, they come at you with their best price, which is usually the lowest around. The whole dealership makes you feel at home. I had an absolutely positive experience with this dealership from the moment I arrived. The sales consultant that assisted me in selecting and purchasing a car was very helpful and knowledgable about the features present on their cars. He listened to what I was interested in with my purchase and took the time to explain how certain models or options would fulfill my wishlist/needlist instead of merely pushing me in a direction. From the process of selecting which model I was interested in, to the test drive, and finally the final demonstration of the cars features before I drove off in my new Maxima, he thoroughly explained the features and functionality of the vehicle.One particular aspect of the sales process that impressed me was his focus on not only features and abilities I had specifically mentioned but also those that could be inferred based on previous conversations about my points of interest. To me this conveyed a sense that he was actually interested in selling me a car I will love rather than a car they just want to get off the lot.I had an equally positive experience with the finance department. The finance manager I worked with made the process of getting financed painless as well as worked to find a much better APR than I was initially expecting. When it came time to discuss various add-ons such as GAP insurance, extended warranties, and protection programs I never got the impression he was simply going for an up-sell. He took the time to explain each item, the benefits they offer, and then went the extra mile by offering an explanation on what conditions would be necessary for the benefits to be worth it or likely to be used. The entire conversation centered around giving me the information I needed to make an informed decision, not around simply getting me to sign a contract. He also took the time to explain exactly what the warranties covered, rather than a simple blanket bumper to bumper statement.I would highly recommend this dealership to anyone looking for a Nissan. The staff I worked with provided an excellent car buying experience which centered around providing their expertise so I could make my own informed decision rather than trying to steer me in a particular direction.

I bought a new 2011 Nissan Altima at Germain Nissan and had a very good experience. Mike Banton, sales person, was friendly, professional and knowledgeable. Upon my first visit, I was WOWED with his service and positive personality. He went through all the bells and whistles of the car and made sure to fully explain all safety and engine features. My dad accompanied me and considered him to be one of the best sales persons he had ever met (my father is not an easy person to impress). I only briefly met Mr. Germain once and had no other interaction after that. Nick Zuchengno took care of finance and me and my father had mixed feelings towards our experience with him. He was friendly enough and took care of all the paper work efficiently. He tried to sell me and my father on a Vehicle Service Protection Plan which we wanted to take some time to think and research before making the investment. This decision didn't seem to suite Nick and his attitude turned noticeably sour. In total, the dealership provided a positive experience for a first time buyer like myself. I wasn't really pushed to buy any certain car, to spend any certain amount of money, the decision was mine and I'm very satisfied with it!

We returned to Germain for a new car purchase six years after our last new car. Our salesman, Michael Banton was great in 2005 so it was clear to us we would return to him and Germain when we were again in the market. We were not disappointed. We love our beautiful Altima and we got what we thought was a great price. Zero percent interest didn't hurt. The only complaint I had was that the dealership was very busy and that is not really a complaint. I was glad to see business was good for the salesmen that day. Our first experience with Germain Nissan stated recently with the purchase of our dream car, a Ford Mustang GT. We had been searching for days, spending many hours on the Internet to make our list of possibilities to check out. One evening we kept going back to one Mustang on the Internet at www.germainnissan.com. The quality of the pictures and detailed vehicle description kept pulling us back to the Germain site. When we actually went to the dealership the next day we were not disappointed. The pictures, as great as they were, did not do justice to the Mustang. Our salesman, John Cuestas, picked up where the website left off. His knowledge of the car was exceptional; he had the answers to all of our questions. At no time during the dealings did he try the hard sales, fast-talking tactics weve all experienced at other dealerships. During the decision making process we asked that they wash the car and put it on the rack so we could check out the body/paint and undercarriage of the car. They readily complied with our request, with no hesitation at all. This was going above and beyond what other dealers would have done! When we finally decided to make the purchase the process was painless; I dont remember everyones name that was involved but they were all very courteous and extremely professional. The credit manager (Charles) Tim King was also great to work with. He answered our questions an explained everything in just the right amount of detail as we went through the process.We would not hesitate to purchase from Germain Nissan again or to recommend others visit Germain Nissan for their dream car. In fact we were planning on buying a Hyundai but happened to drive by the Nissan dealership and figured we should at least check them out to cross them off the list.We were so impressed with the service that we received from Robert Bailey that we ended up purchasing a Nissan Altima that day. He answered all our questions and even pointed out why Nissan was better than the other vehicles that we were planning on looking at. He is quite knowledgable of your products and convinced us that we should purchase a Nissan. He worked with us to get a great vehicle in a price range that we could afford.I am not someone who normally makes impulse buys. The last vehicle that we purchased I looked at for over 6 months before actually signing the papers and purchasing.You should be proud of what a great employee Robert is. I had been looking for a car for over 4 months. The option of new was not even considered until we ended up at Germain Nissan. My sales person "Robert" was very professional. He spent time going over all advantages of the Sentra. Although I really liked the Sentra, I started looking at other manufacturers "Honda and Toyota". I went to the other dealers at the end of business hours. Honda was too busy trying to shut their doors. They met me at the door with 15 minutes left in the day and said "Come back tommorrow". I knew this dealer was not getting my business. On the other hand, Toyota stayed open 1 hour past close to discuss the Corolla. Their customer service was great! By the way, the store I went to was Germain Toyota. I knew I had the right dealer. Even though this was going to be my car, it was what my wife wanted at this point. We test drove both cars and did a side by side comparison at the Germain Nissan store. At the end of the day, both cars were very similar. Style, price and recall notices sold the car. I was worried the recalls Toyota had been dealing with would effect the resale value of the car. The customer service was great at each store. Since my purchase, I have had my car in for maintence, FREE washings and a couple minor repairs. The service staff has always been easy to deal with. Someone has always been around to shuttle me to work and back when I do not have a ride. Overall, Germain dealers do an outstanding job! I will be purchasing another car from Germain and I speak highly of their service and quality when somebody asks. Your customers are your best sales people. I sell Germain to everyone who asks!

I went to Germain after a very unfortunate experience with another Columbus Nissan dealer that rhymes with mycart.Brandon set up the appointment, and Tony at Germain made the process go very quickly, and the deal was great. The car was delivered hand waxed and was beautiful...I would recommend Germain if you are in the market for a beautiful Nissan at the right price.

This dealership tries to intimidate you into buying a car. I was dealing with John. He was nice until I told him I didn't like his deal, then he got mean and aggressive. Buddy came out and tried to be the good sales guy. This tag sales approach just shows me that this dealership has no integrity whatsoever. I couldn't just walk out because they still had my keys to the car I wanted to trade in. As soon as they gave me back my keys I went to Infiniti of Columbus, where I was treated with respect, and bought a car.

I recently bought a used car from this dealership. The used car manager (Buddy)was very unprofessional and tried to do business by scaring me. He also lied many things and tried to make me guilty on the spot. He pressured me to make a desicion on the spot. They promised to take care of several items on my car but once the car is sold, they never took care of anything nor returned my calls. The service is horrible and the service manager, Mike was very rude. Never go to this dealership. Just avoid and buy your vehicle somewhere else where you will be treated like a customer and with respect. I feel that Buddy with his cunning tactics will drive this dealership out of business soon. The entire team believes that they can fool every customer who walks in to the dealership. Andy was a little better but can't do much since he is in sales. Beware and avoid this dealership.I have bought 7 cars in the past, but never experienced such a horrible experience. In the future, I will never go to this dealer for any service or repairs. Do a favor for yourself and AVOID Germain Nissan.

THIS WAS A HORRIBLE DEALERSHIP EXPERIENCE! I went there because I saw a Honda Civic for sale. The first time I walked in they tried to pressure me into signing papers by saying the couple sitting behind us was there for the same car. "But if I sign first I get it." I didn't sign in five minutes and then they said they sold the car. Two days later, I get a call saying it came back because of financing and they wanted to work with the payments. To make a long story short. I sold my car, bought the civic at Germain and took it home. While there, they said the battery had died and the CD player needed the anti-theft code. They refused to do it the next day and I had to call and wait three days for Honda to give me the code. After I got the code, I saw the CD player didn't work. (They prob. knew that and that is why they disconnected the battery) My salesman said sorry, it's as is. A few days later they called and wanted me to come in. They then told me my payments were going to be over $150.00 to $200.00 more than I had signed on to at a 13% interest increase, and if I didn't like it I had to search banks myself to find a better rate. This place is a joke. The man, that originally financed me,Paul Shue, came back later and said he was just the internet sales manager. My boyfriend put it best. Paul would be more successful if he was a weatherman. Completely inaccurate numbers! Luckily, they didn't hold up their part of the bargain and I was able to get out of the contract. However, I'm still waiting for my down payment which they wouldn't give me there. BEWARE OF THIS DEALERSHIP. I waisted three weeks sitting in there with one problem after another. When I took the car back the financing manager said, "they really dropped the ball on this deal, and "it was done wrong." Now I'm left with no car and waiting for my money to come.

This is the second Nissan I have purchased from Germain. They have a friendly staff, and they don't try tricks. I dealt with Alan for this second Nissan and he was excellent. After being jerked around by Dennis Autopoint earlier in the day, it was refreshing to be listened to and dealt with well.I told Alan that I wanted a 2008 Nissan Sentra S with manual transmission, and didn't need other perks. He looked in the system, said he had a few he could get shortly, and let's look at price. He evaluated my trade in, came back and said "We can give you $17,000 for your trade, this is the price for the Sentra, and we are at a monthly payment of roughly $280-$290 for 60 months, depending on the interest rate you get." I told him I really needed to be down around $250 for 60 months. He went right back, discussed options with the finance people for a while, came back and said "You've got a car." They upped my trade to $17,700, gave me an incentive that wasn't slated to start until the next month, and ordered the car. The car arrived the next night, two days ahead of schedule, I went in, and the paperwork was in order, as promised. Completed the deal and walked out with my new car. They were a pleasure to deal with. While I was waiting for my Sentra, they also gave me a 2008 Altima to drive until my car came in.

I had a horrible experience with this dealer. I went there initially because of the reputation of Germain in the Columbus area but was very disappointed. Alan initially seemed alright, but then him and the finance guy were trying to get me to do anything to buy a car. They offered me an incredibly low quote for my trade-in and acted like it would be an inconvenience to them to take it and kept telling me to sell it myself. Then they would not negotiate at all from the sticker price but tried to get me to do things like put a down payment on a credit card or post-date a check. Shady! The worst part is that they ran my credit, and told me they sent it to Nissan and I was approved for a recent college grad program with a low rate and cash back. It turns out they flat out lied to me and had never even sent my information to Nissan. Extra shady! They wasted 3 hours of my time! I wen to another dealer who offered me $2,000 more for my trade and immediately offered me the car I wanted at invoice with no hassle or negotiations. so I know it was doable.
