I was 95% happy with my sales person Edin....It's along story, but I brought my lease back (2014 Sante Fe) to the dealership with damage. I kept asking Edin about the Excess Wear & Tear policy I had purchased with my 2014 Sante Fe - he told me that he didn't think it would cover the damage I had (pretty severe dent in passenger front quarter panel). A couple times I said should you check with someone, or are you sure. When I got to Jonathan in Finance, and he was going over the different plan options - he said "see if you had this excess wear and tear package on your Sante Fe it would have covered the damage to your vehicle"....I said "I did have it". He looked surprised and then did some checking - my payment came down enough so that I could then purchase the same package for the 2017 Tucson - which in the end made me very happy! All in all, it was a nice smooth transaction - I still am not sure how the wear and tear package will work because originally I was told it's all handled through Gettel and carrier - then Jonathan reached out to me a couple of days later and said that Hyundai will be sending me a bill for the damage and that I have to work with the wear and tear carrier to get is sorted out - he assured me it is an easy process and that he will help me in any way he can when that comes. So again - very happy!

My son and I came into the dealership after some very unscrupulous visits to other dealers. We were so welcomed and felt like we were never ever treated badly. Our experience here confirmed that all the other dealerships we visited who really took the initiative to bad- mouth your store was proven so wrong that we will never buy another car from any other dealership but yours.

We have been to several Hyundai dealerships, and finally we found the particular model/color we want at this dealership. Compared with the peers, we were more impressed with this organization due to the following facts: (1) good variety of car selections, (2) well organized business flow from beginning to the end, (3) warmth we have received from all the staffs there. Having to bring our 2 children (both under 2 years old) with us for the entire process, they made us comfortable and kept the kids entertained and busy. The entire Gettel Hyundai experience was far superior than the Gettel Nissan experience next door. Seemed like two different companies and I was very impressed how the entire buying process had a system which made it very easy. It was very time consuming, but every dealership I visited took at least 4-5 hours - only to walk out empty handed, except at Gettel Hyundai.

I made an appointment with Gloria after looking at the various cars available on line and learning about them, so I could decide which model would be right for me. When I arrived, Gloria came to meet me and introduced me to Michael Sender, who was great to deal with. He answered all of my questions, gave me great information about Hyundai cars. When I told him what I wanted in my new car, he took me directly to the car that was perfect for me and the car I purchased. He showed me around the dealership and introduced to the people I needed to know in Service and others within the dealership. My experience the day I bought my new car was pleasant and contact after the sale has been appropriate and appreciated! This is my first Hyundai and I'm wondering what took me so long!!

As my previous lease was coming to an end, I went to the dealership to find out if I wanted to release another vehicle. The first salesman who approached me was to aggressive and I let him know that. Another salesman came over to me and was better suited to listen to what I needed and could afford. Between he and the sales manager, who also was very helpfull, I re leased a 2017 Elantra. As I barely rackup miles and live by my self, it was very important to me that I have a reliable car that is fully warrantied, so a used car purchase was not my choice. At lease end, I may purchase this car due to the outstanding warranty the Hyundai has.

The sales team was great. They made sure the car was the one I wanted and did there job correct. Let's get into the finance team. The girl was ok. She rushed the paperwork. But was ok. They added a service contract and tire plan after I said no. They took out the service contract and tried to get the tire plan in there without me knowing. I bought in my own financing. They got me a better rate. I thought great left the dealership with the car. This is where xxxx starts. The bank they got me a better rate out turned down my financing. (Unclear why) I went back and had to deal with the. Bald guy in financing I told him I would get financing threw my bank. (Fifth third) he said we deal with 53 and that they could do it for me brings me back an offer a 7.10 percent. I said I had already worked a deal with my bank at 4.2 so I didn't know why they came back so high I just needed the sale contract to get my end of stuff done. They made me sign at 7 percent as a backup. That's. normal. Get to my bank get everything done and just waiting on one thing from the dealership. They missed cut off by 5 min so I had to bring the financing paper in the next day no big deal I was told. My bank called them early on this week and was told we already got financing for the Car. They put my financing in at 7 percent with there "deal". My banker has said they have never delt with anything like this. And are not sure how to proceed. I now have to go threw the hassle of refinancing a car I've owned for 2 weeks because of this. I will never buy here again. BUT AGAIN THE SALES TEAM WAS GREAT!

I trusted him to be telling me the truth, and on the trial ride he explained everything about the car that I needed to know.) I've had 3 Hyundais over the years and have loved them all. We looked at different cars, color options, interior options... it was a fun experience and at the end I got exactly the car I wanted. I recommend George to anyone wanting to buy from Hyundai; very professional young man who seems to know what he is doing. Attitude was just right. I was worried with all the technology in the car I was going to have a hard time using it, but George made it so much easier to understand - I use more of the technology the car has to offer than I thought I'd be able to (and I love to show it off to my friends). Al I have to say is, do your research before coming to this dealership. Their cars are EXTREMELY over priced and they will not budge. The dealer we worked with, left a few times to speak to the "manager" who was standing in a room goofing off with three other people. He is a sleaze ball, to say the least. We found a car with less miles and two years younger for $4,000.00 less than what this dealership was offering (which should be the price of the car we were looking at, anyway).BEWARE of this money sucking place. Trust me, do your research before car shopping and definitely steer clear of this place. The only good thing about this place, is Keisha. She is wonderful and she deserves better than this place. She is very professional and an all around good human being.

I got my first car here and i did not see a survey sent to me, but i saw this one in my email today and just wanted to share how AWESOME this dealership and the people are. From the moment i stepped in, they were hospitable. They found me my dream car and showed me how to use EVERY feature inside. I haven't been to another dealership that will take their time that they could be using on another sale to show me how to use the car. I am very happy with my purchase and this dealership. This is not the closest hyundai dealership to my house, but i will drive the 2 hours in a heart beat if anything goes wrong because the people in Gettel Hyundai gave me a blessing. Thank You.

We purchased a used 2007 Hyundai Sonata for my son. The sales team that assisted us was Keisha and Walter. These two people are the most down to earth and helpful sales people I have ever worked with. We had a few issues with the car shortly after purchase (you take a chance when buying used cars) but Keisha and Hyundai worked to resolve the issues immediately. She gave us her cell number and quickly responded, even late in the evening when she found out we had concerns. It's only been a few days since we purchased the vehicle but we are happy. The outcome would have been much different if Keisha wasn't there to help. Thank you Keisha and Walter for your awesome service. My husband purchased/financed a pre-owned vehicle a few months ago and the service was great. Ali was his sales person. We decide to review our options on my 2014 Sonata. Again Ali was the first person to look for. Never forget GREAT service. After the test drive and an overview of of the car. Ali was called away. Ali having to leave earlier then expected, George stepped in to help. Excellent team work. My only complaint is it had taken over 4 hours to finalize our purchase/finance. With technology at our finger tips it should be easier.

I did not like the 2016 Tuscan Turbo after driving it home. I did not like the way it automatically shifted - seemed to have too much delay for me. I brought it back and Chuck Stringham really went above and beyond to rectify my purchase and find the exactly right vehicle for me. He went through all the features that we wanted with my wife and also kept our budget in mind. I'm very happy with the 2017 Santa Fe and the thoughtful way we were treated as a customer.

From sales person to business manager the whole process was beyond expectations. Edin Veletanlic was very professional and listened to what I was looking for. He explained everything possible and answered all my question, called to see how I liked my car and if I had any concerns. Shawn Kelly business manager was also very profession and went above and beyond to explain all aspects of the contract, to all the service contracts available. He also was very helpful in giving me the paper work I needed so I could cancel a service contract that I had on my previous lease from another dealer. Local Sarasota dealership has a large selection of cars. "JK" is very low pressure, listens to your needs, and he'll work with you to find the right car. We were considering replacing my wife's 2012 Tucson with another Tucson, a Kia Sportage, the Lincoln MKC, or possibly a Mercedes SUV. Jonathan suggested to my wife (as we are getting older and like more comfort, room, and easier entry/exit from the car) that she might enjoy a slightly larger vehicle and showed us the 2017 Santa Fe Sport. He was right, and that's what we ended up leasing. Since this was her car, he focused on her needs. Many salespeople still ignore women (other than asking about color preference). Jonathan was the opposite of that. He spent an hour with her to set up the car - showed her where everything was and how it operated, made sure everything was connected the way she wanted it (iPhone, XM radio stations), set up her first service appointment, and when she was comfortable with the car, he sent us on our way. Finance was a breeze - we were in and out of the finance office in about 15 minutes. I've already told JK that when my Lincoln MKZ 2.0T lease is up, I will be back to drive the Genesis or Equus.

I have been having my previous car serviced here at Gettel for the last 5 years, therefore I knew this dealer well. When my 2009 Hyundai Sonata got old and tired, at 7 years of age and 114,000 miles, I bought a new car from this same dealer, based on satisfaction of quality service in the past. The salesman was very qualified and professional and methodically went thru the procedures of selling me the closest vehicle they had to satisfy my needs. The selection was excellent and I purchased the one they presented and that I test drove. It was and still is an excellent buy and I am very satisfied with my new purchase.

Unfortunately, I left at the end of the day feeling completely underwhelmed and not even excited about driving off with my new car. The process to lease this vehicle took far too long; there was no need for it to take all day. I was under the impression I would be working with someone else and let them know I wanted to handle my car dealings as quickly as possible. I was passed off to someone else who didn't have many answers we were looking for throughout the day and in a way never actually seemed interested in making a deal. I also know for a fact that I did not get the deal I deserved and could have gotten elsewhere (had in writing from another dealer just outside the area) a better monthly cost with more miles for essentially the same vehicle). While I should have just left, I was basically worn down after hours of dealing and simply wanted to leave and took what I could get. While the staff was generally nice, we did not appreciate being told "the math is a little fuzzy" AKA there was no way we could understand how/why they came to the number they came up with. I left with such a bad taste in my mouth over the experience which was truly unfortunate. By far the least favorable buying experience I have ever had.

I worked with Ian and Marty and they both were great to deal with. I feel like I got a fairly good deal and didn't feel pressured. They let me think about the final deal for a couple of days and offered for me to take the vehicle for a couple of days if I wanted. Take the time to check ALL the vehicle's features. Your salesman is a better resource than the Service Manuel. The vehicle has many features not usually found on similar vehicles. The gas mileage was well within the specified ranges. My previous, Camry, was well below the designated range.

Sadly, with Chris Van Vliet & Chris Mettile...we didn't have the best experience. We fell short on the appraisal for the car we were looking at and that was the deal breaker on the car we were going to buy. They appraised my trade it almost $4,500 less than two other dealerships had offered, and then went up by 1k which was a "gracious offer" despite being told what we would get elsewhere. The best part? They had mentioned wholesaling the car and that was the reason for the low offer. Though I understand business needs, do not give me a low offer because you don't plan on keeping the car on your lot, that is such a quick way to lose business. I couldn't seal the deal because of this. Their last ditch effort was the attempt to sell us a "beautiful" Sonata that was in decrepit shape and showed signs of heavy and hard driving (heavy wear on inside, all four rims with heavy scratching). We ended up going to Sarasota Ford and getting a loaded sedan, after they gave us a very fair offer for our trade for a better overall car that was priced lower. Although we enjoyed Mike's assistance very much, Chris V.V. was not on the same level. It became apparent when we arrived back from our test drive and were looking at the car and he had stated "I'm in no rush to sell you the car, I am not pushy...it won't change my life one bit." While we were at the signing table, he came back with the numbers and I hesitated to sign after looking at the evaluation. He forcefully asked "what can I do to sell you the car" and wrote a number down and asked for us to sign it. I understand he wants to sell the car, but there's no need to say you do not "push" cars and then force that. I am not a novice when it comes to car shopping and felt like I was being treated as some nonchalant, wishy-washy young adult buyer. I had told them both I had done my homework, had a draft check ready for a considerable amount, but simply could not think of giving that amount and credit to a service or sales team that did not deserve it. Had the offer been closer to my expectations and service showed just a slight bit of genuine care and not forcefully selling, I would have been more workable in the price. They attempted to put us in a corner and I absolutely would not allow that nor will I have it happen ever again.Overall Mike and Andrea were fantastic. Thank you for making the effort and showing genuine care. I'm sorry we could not sign a deal while you were away.On a side note, I would HIGHLY suggest giving your sales-force their own offices. It's pretty embarrassing that on two separate occasions the office we were in had been occupied by someone else when we returned and had to gather our belongings and move over, same happened to another couple as we apparently took over their office. We received a follow-up (automatic) e-mail from the GM Roy Smalls, in which I found his actual e-mail and send this inquiry to him over 1 week ago. Sadly, I have not received a response in regards to anything stated above.

A mere 7,000 MILES on my Hyundai Elantra and the leather driver's seat looks like the pictures below. I've been waiting for a month now to hear back from Hyundai regarding warranty coverage "acceptance" to get the seat fixed. Sarasota's Gettel Hyundai Dealership submitted photographs to Hyundai... Hopefully someone gets their act together and takes care of a quality customer. What a headache to say the least. Unhappy Customer.

Yesterday we spent 3 hours at this dealership. In the 3 hours we were not able to get a monthly price that was anywhere near what we told them was our max payment amount. We received about 5 deferent payment option, each worse than the previous ones. The sales manager was obnoxious! Today we received a call to come back in. We told them we wouldn't and we wanted the quote over the phone. They came back with a quote over the phone which again didn't meet our needs. Told them to stop badgering us, have a good day and we hung up. Would never recommend this dealership to others!

Andrew, Daniel, and Chuck went out of their way to locate the specific color Genesis that we wanted and had it quickly delivered from Jacksonville. They arranged for us to test drive the vehicle over the weekend which was the only time that fit our schedule. We compare the Lexus ES 350, the Mercedes E 350 and the Genesis. We own a 2011 Genesis and based on the performance of the three vehicle and our previous relationship with the dealership we decided on the 2016 Genesis.

Gettel Hyundai is like going to visit Willy Wonka's Chocolate Factory but one must get his hands on the "Golden Ticket " first ! They sent me their 'Flyer" in the mail and I obediently follow the path to their showroom. I'd booked the car in for an early Sunday but had a sudden water leak in my condo early in the morning that kept me so busy it was mid afternoon before I realized I'd missed it!I left a message with my apologies on the Monday and within an hour they emailed a new appointment for Tuesday.Service there is ALWAYS friendly and efficient. The employees are welcoming and they always talk with you to ensure exactly what you want done. They also checked my address (which had changed) and ran the car through their car wash.

When I pulled in the service area, I was the only car. Went into my trunk to get a wheel chair for my handicap friend and was asked who my service rep was and I said Bob. He said well he's off today but wait here outside and a service rep will be right with you. While waiting not one but three other cars pull in behind me. They go into the service reps office and all of a sudden those three cars get taken care of before mine which I did have an appointment. I brought my friend into the waiting room as it was getting cold and then I went into the service rep's office and waited at least 5 minutes. All three rep's were busy with someone at their desk, A women customer just walks in and a lady rep said "Who next? Oh! I guess you are to the women who just walked in." I said no I am and already 4 others went ahead of me. She did take me but wouldn't have if I was still waiting outside. That is a lousy system and not very customer friendly. You should look into number for the customer to take as they arrive.

I unexpectedly had to purchase a new car. My 2008 Tucson had many miles and had reached the point where putting money into repairs was not worth it. My salesman, Tom Goins, was incredibly helpful and patient as I tried to figure out what I wanted to do. The manager, Roy Smalls, helped me untangle the minutia of down payments, etc. Both (Tom and Roy) explained everything, gave me all the time I needed, and put me at ease. Laurie Lowman took care of the paperwork very efficiently. She was personable, funny, and empathetic. Considering how stressful the situation was for me, everyone made the experience pleasant. I had very good experiences working with Hyundai, up north and in Sarasota, while I had my Tucson. I had planned on being a repeat customer. Now, I am enjoying a brand new Hyundai and am optimistic that my experiences will continue to be exceptional.

I am a Canadian snowbird that developed problems with my alignment on the way from Nova Scotia to Sarasota. I booked an appointment within 24 hours of calling Gettel Hyundai of Sarasota. The experience was no different than the other 3 appointments I have had with them over the last two winters; competent, courteous and a general sense that my time was valuable. This is the only dealership I have encountered that seems to truly care about my issues and gets them sorted out quickly. One special note: my service adviser (Tonya) was prompt, helpful, knowledgeable and keen to get me in and out of there as soon as reasonably possible. She was also funny and very personable. I hope I have her as my adviser again for my next visit in April.

Terrible Experience top to bottom. Service Dept is the only reason I come back here. Sales is very unprofessional. I hate the back and forth game. I have good credit / comparable debt and I expect a little customer service and I got none. I left there with a brand new car not very clean, one set of keys and no demonstration. I do like my new car though - after I detailed it and hooked up all the gadgets myself. I never received a follow up call. When I was there my sales rep told me about ten times to make sure I give a good survey. He also told me he hated his job a few times. This is the exact opposite of how any sale / customer service should be held. I manage a Financial Firm in the sales division. I work diligently with my clients and give top customer service - that is why they come back to me year after year. I know all the sales games of course too being in the business (I finance equipment for businesses) and I asked them to stop BS'ing me but they insisted to treat me poorly. Unrelated to the sale of the vehicle - I asked for a bottle of water for me and my wife and nobody got us one. I took it upon myself to grab a couple out of the frig by the main door and the girl who was at the front counter rolled her eyes and said "wow, people really feel entitled to do whatever they want today, UGH". I mean give me a break. I think everyone in there should take a sales course and a customer service course. Again, the only reason I come back to Gettel is because of Amber in service dept. For the record I dont like to giving bad surveys but I am honest. It is the only way to be.

I came in 12/13/15 to look at the new Genesis Sedan. I was greeted by a salesperson who asked why I was coming in today. I told him I was interested in a new Genesis 3.8. He then told me immediately we do not demo cars on Sunday's. So I said to him so your telling me I can not test drive a car today. He told me only if I am purchasing it. I didn't know hyundais are now like ferrari's. Totally turned off by Hyundai and ever wanting to buy one all because of my experience. Made me feel like I couldn't afford the car or something. All negotiations were done by phone. Pricing was straightforward and the dealer delivered the car 60 miles and the salesman stayed for a 30 minute test drive and even reprogrammed my garage door opener on a ladder. All in all a good experience.

When you have to go through the dreaded task of buying a new car, which, let's face it, is not anyone's favorite thing to do, Gettel's the place to do it. You get what you want, no pushiness, and they do try to move the process along as quickly as possible. This is my third or fourth Hyuundai, good vehicles, but the Gettel staff makes it even better. I was very satisfied with my 2013 Azera and only went into the dealership to ascertain whether the 2016 Azera had arrived. While there, I admired the new Genesis and indicated that I really liked the new body style. Within seconds, the Sales a Manager encouraged me to test drive it, which I did. He did not pressure me and just made himself a available for any questions that I might have. When I indicated my potential interest to lease the Genesis, based on my impressive test drive, and jested that I hoped that I could afford it. Chris said that he would work up some numbers and ascertain what incentives might be available. I was pleasantly surprised at the numbers that he quoted me and was excited to make a deal with him right then and there. And I can honestly say that I genuinely love my Genesis!

I was met by Glen who turned out to be a very nice salesperson. knowledgeable, polite, thorough. I was there at this time just to look at a particular colour of an Azure. I was not there to purchase that day. However the sales manager had different ideas and used the usual pressure to make me purchase. I eventually received my own car keys back and left later I went back with my husband and eventually decided to purchase. However the next day I realized that one particular item I required on the Azure was not on mine and that was front collision safety alert. Vince asked 3 times was this particular model a limited edition and we did not get a straight answer on that. Probably my fault a little as it was not my intention to purchase that day. We took the car back under the 3 day agreement and was put into another Azera that did have the safety features required and told to come back the next day (as it was sunday0 to do the business. I asked for them to meet me half way on the deal and they would not. I decided to take the car and cancel my service agreement that I was going to have with them to partially make up the extra money I would need to find for the car to redo the business. After waiting an unbelievable time again to redo the finance the lady called me, I politely apologized for putting her to this trouble that she completely ignored, she bordered on being rude all the was through the transaction and when we got to the part where I would not pay extra in my financing to have the warranty extra she became more unbearable. After I had left we were just a little way up the road and then I found that she had bait and switched my finance APR from a 2.5% to a 2.9%. We went back immediately , the sales manager that had been dealing with my purchase very quickly, made sure he was not going to get involved and Dan I presume the overall sales manager took us straight to the this woman and made sure I was put through again at my correct APR. AS a Real Estate Broker for 20 years with due diligence, honesty etc. that we have to uphold or get struck off, I was appalled that this could be happening in a car dealership and this woman thinking she could get away with it. Takes me right back to years ago when car dealers always had a bad name for scamming people. Unfortunately it still appears to be so at this dealership if you do not fall into all their wishes. 5

Bought a new 2015 Veloster, A/C didn't work, to it back to Gettel few days later for 10am appt., waited 1/2 hour or more just to get waited on, said it would take 2-4 hours to fix, so rented a car, went home, 34 miles away. Called me 2:30pm, said it was all fixed, just needed freon. Went back to get it, sat out front for 10 minutes to make sure A/C was fixed, AS WORK ORDER DECLARED, and all I got was hot air, so drove back around to Service area, had one of the girls put her hand over the vent, and the look on her face said it all, they NEVER touched my vehicle, lied like xxxx. Left furious, went home and called Palm in Punta gorda, took it there, said it needed freon and they had put dye in it (as they are supposed to do). I told them that Gettel claimed they did the same thing. Said there was no dye residue, so it's proof that they never looked at my car. I asked them how long it would take for freon to leak out, said about 4-5 days. More proof that Gettel never touched my car. So back home I went, only to be without A/C 5 days later, so took it back to Palm, hole in compressor, ordered part, so going back again. I hadn't even had the car a month yet and already 4 trips to service. I have written to Gettel with no response, not even an apology. Almost 300 miles added to my odometer just for service. If Gettel had done their job in the first place this wouldn't have happened. They think they've heard the last of me, they couldn't be more wrong. STAY AWAY FROM GETTEL, THEY WILL SCREW YOU BIG TIME AND NOT GIVE IT A SECOND THOUGHT AS CUSTOMER SERVICE IS NOT IN THEIR VOCABULARY!!!

BEWARE.......THEY ARE NICE TO YOUR FACE!!! Took my car in for service and found out later that they NEVER DID THE WORK yet charged me and when confronted by another Hyundai dealer as to the work not being done........they insult me, ignore me and talk down to me! Had to call Hyundai Corporate America and they ignore them as well. I was from out of town so I got the shaft! I will be seeking legal action if not resolved....this happened in February 2014! Still trying to get a resolve. This dealership takes advantage of out-of-towners! Dealership that actually did the repair called Gettel and told them the work had never been done. Gettel has yet to apologize or attempt to make this issue right! Legal action is in sight!

PLEASE READ BEFORE YOU GO TO GETTEL HYUNDAI OF SARASOTA!! A little background -- I took my vehicle there last week for an oil change, scratches to be given an estimate to be removed and to get the ipod port replaced because it does not work. After a long 3 hour wait, I finally get my car back with 4 fingerprints left on the interior with oil no less, the port needed to be ordered and no estimate for the scratches. So I left a review on there sight stating how disappointed I was with there lack of detail, respect of my property and not everything being completed. I received a call by Melissa the following day, she stated how sorry she was on behalf of Hyundai and she would like to give me a $200 supreme detail to take care of the oil stains left inside the car, get an estimate for the scratches as well as install the ipod port that parts received today. She said they would set a loaner car up as well so I would not have to wait again for the work to be done, the supreme detail would take a few hours alone to do. I respected the prompt response and the offer she was giving to make up for what had happened. So I dropped my car off on 1/20/2014, I had to wait to get a shuttle to hertz rent-a-car to get a loaner. AT about 3:00 the same day I get a call saying my car is ready and they got the scratches out with the polish/wax job done. Great! I thought -- I schedule to go pick my car up the following day. I get into look at my car and there was NO detailing done on the inside! The oil finger prints were still there!! So I asked to speak to Melissa who handled this complaint and made all the promises. She first stated that she made the mistake and meant to offer me the $100 detail not the $200 one then she back peddled some more and said "I must have heard her wrong". I was God smacked that she would insult me in any way. I am a very healthy 30 something year old and have perfect hearing and understanding to what is said and expressed to me. Even with the $100 special, they still didn't vacuum my trunk or cargo area that is specified in that $100 special. Next time I want my car washed and vacuumed, I will take it a mile up the road for $15 and get a better job done then at your dealership! With all this said, I still had to wait around there yet another hour for them to get the oil off the interior of my car and cancel a meeting I had due to Gettel Hyundai and there incompetent staff. As a business owner and a consumer, I would never treat a customer the way I was treated there. I would never insult the customer and I would make sure I stood behind anything that I told that customer I would do for them. SHAME ON YOU GETTEL HYUNDAI! By reading allot of the recent feedback as well, it seems your dealership as a whole needs a good clean up itself!

Best Car Buying Experience Ever PERIOD. Best Price as Promised, I traveled 100 miles after calling Johnathon and getting the best price I could find in a 100 mile radius. He was waiting for me and had the car ready, clean, gassed up, the windows were even tinted. I bought over 20 new vehicles in the past 5 years and never seen a dealership pre tint all of their car's windows. Another savings of time and money!!!! I've been going to Gettel for my 2009 Hyundai service for about 5 yrs now. I have never had any complaints about the work to be done or completed. The svc reps have always been efficient when i explain what I want/need to have done. They/re good listeners & greet you with a smile! I have no complaints on the work performed. My last visit was great because I knew what I thought I needed to have done for the car & for my warranty. I explained to the girl that I only had so much money in checking acct, & do you know she came right on the money for that amount. You folks have no idea how worried I was about that!!! As written to Hyundai America "This is what I wrote to Hyundai America...Getlel (sales) has very poor after sales service "While I can't say enough about Hyundai's quality (just purchased my 3rd), I have to say that your dealership in Sarasota (Gettel Hyundai) leaves much to be desired. First they charged me twice to the Santa Fe I bought (charged my credit card for the amount owed AND took a check from me), then they messed up my registration for "My Hyundai" which they say they cannot correct. The result is that I have no Blu Link connectivity. When I approached them, their response was "Not my problem, I'm just a franchisee" Pretty poor customer service. I sincerely hope not all your dealerships are like this. " I seems the only way this can be resolved is to send a copy of my drivers license and a copy of my registration to some unknown party (India maybe?)..and that is not going to happen due to privacy concerns"

Took my Dad in for a new battery for his 2011 Sonata and walked out with a new 2013 car! The service department was very professional and fair with pricing, however while we were waiting, we decided to look at new cars. A person waiting for his car told us to ask for Daniel in sales and Daniel turned out to be the most amazing car sales person ever! He was patient with my 81 year old Dad, listened to his requests, took us on a test drive, and made the deal work for my Dad! He then made the transition from his old Saturn to the new Saturn as easy as possible, even helping my Dad move all of his belongings to the new vehicle. My Dad lost his wife of 58 years just 4 months ago and Daniel and the managers at Gettel Hyundai made my Dad feel special. Dad's brand new red Elantra GT has put a little spring back into his step! He couldn't wait for his neighbors to see his new car!

My daughter and I recently leased a new 2012 Hyundai Sonota from Gettel Hyundai Sarasota on Memorial Day 2012. As this was my daughter's first car buying experience, she had done her advance homework on pricing, features and what to expect at the time of the sale. I had prepared her for the inevitable "back and forth" that comes with negotiating a deal. To our very pleasant suprise, the dealership met our well studied offer within 15 minutes of sitting down with the salesman, Chris. Chris then walked us through what to expect from the finance department, which also proceeded without a hitch. The final run through of the car's various features (including the almost instantaneous download of all 414 of my daughter's iPhone contacts into the car's Bluetooth phonebook) was downright fun. Overall, we can't say enough great things about our experience, and the only dink would be on the current state of the facilities which are in the middle of renovation. Ask for saleman Chris, he is a true professional.

I was not pleased when i came in and sat there for a hour and then was told that my part was not in. I received at least three e-mails with notices about my service appointment, I could have been notified that the part didn't come in before i took the day off. But it did come in while they were looking for a car to give me to take home and come back the next day. I was also told that it would take about a hour to do the work about three hours later it was done. While sitting there the service manager walked by me at least eight times and never even gave me a hello.

Reason for visit: returning a leased car.Unfortunatly on April 17th, my husband passed away. He was the proud owner of a Genesis coupe. The car was well taken care of as my husband has always had pride in all his vehicles. Prior to the Hyundai he owned several Lexus's as well as Lincoln town cars.The day after he passed I contacted Hyundai Moter Finance (HMF) to discuss what to do with his vehicle as he leased it. It had only 5100 miles on it, garaged and without a scratch. The person I spoke to said to fax in a death certificate as well as letter of intent and then they would let me know what to do with the car. I did as directed about one week following his death.A week following I started receiving phone calls requesting payment. Daily phone calls were made asking to speak to my husband and how they could reach him as his payment was due! Finally (HMF) called and told me to simply turn the car into the dealer. When doing so the "general manager" said "what do you want me to do with it?" and that he had only been with this dealer for 8 months. He didn't know what to do. I feel Hyundai as a company should have better policies on this issue. I am appalled by the insensitivity as well as lack of professonalism of this company.I personally will never purchase a vehicle from this company and would not recommend them. This dealership is a disgrace. The general manager did not have a compassionate bone in his body. He was rude, inseneitive and unprofesional.

Loaner was not available, although I asked for one when setting the appointment. I had to wait 15 minutes for Hertz to deliver a small car that wreaked of cigarette smoke. I had no time to wait for another one.The final bill did not include discounts we agreed to when I turned in the car with Car Care coupons. I found out the error myself and it was corrected.Although the car was washed, the wash did not include the interior. A section of the windshield had a strange residue glued to it that I had to scrape off and clean.Not one of my better service experiences.I would generally recommend this dealership, but not today.

I've been going to Gettel for a few years, never had any reason to distrust the service dept, that is, until now. while waiting for my oil change to be done, the rep came in to tell me my brake fluid was "very bad, dark brown" needed immediate at-tention;I'd had my car serviced back in April (not at Gettel). I couldn't recall what I'd had done but it was lot so I declined his offer to replace the fluid, got the car, checked my papers, and sure enough, I'd had the brake fluid changed in April, this is now early Jan. but I'm no mechanic so I took the car to the place I'd gone to orignally; I explained what I'd been told, the tech took a sample of the fluid, it was a teeny bit pinkish, not even close to "dark brown" but because the change was under warranty, they changed it for me again anyway; so now, the end result? I no longer have any faith in the service dept,will take my business elsewhere; I believe they were willing to lose a customer to make a few paltry bucks, not good and it didn't work so, I leave it up to you to decidep.s. I was with the tech when he took the sample and compared it to the chart so no funy stuff went on.

Went to the service department for a 10:45am appointment. Went in to the service advisors office not a greeting, hello or even an acknowledgement I was even there.. after waiting 10+ mins someone finally helped me. I was there just for a oil change. So I waiting in the lobby, at 12:30pm I went to check on my car and it had not even been taken in to get started. I was already there a hour and a half. Finally at 1:30pm I was done. No apology, once again no acknowledement that the service was horrible or sorry you had to wait, nothing. It should Not have taken well over 2 hours for a oil change, that is unexpectable. Needless to say, I left there infuriated and will never recommed this dealership. I have never had such poor sorry service. What a Huge disppointment this was. I bought my car here but will never return for any type of service let alone upgrading my car. And will be sure to sprend the news to many people..

I didn't even MAKE it to the dealership. I received such lousy service over the phone I didn't even bother. Especially when the salesperson Scott that I had requested return my phone call. (I was assuming he would call me back the same day...silly me!) was "very busy" and "by the time he calls me back, I'll already be there for my appointment. But, I'll give him the message to call you." as said by Patricia. Scott DID end up calling me back, late the next evening approximately 24 hours later and was asking for "rick" to call him back. Who is RICK??!! HELLO!!!! Funny thing.....all the other dealerships I contacted, they had a salesperson call me right back. I wouldn't recommend this dealership for the simple fact that if they can't even get it right on the first telephone experience, why would I want to go there in person?

When we left he asked for the sale and told us they would with us.I spoke with Mike the next day, and told him I decided on a model not on the lot. Mike located the car for me, and worked with me on the price. The car was available that very day.Taking delivery was exceptionally smooth. Lars handled the paperwork quickly and painlessly. I was very impressed with Chris at Gettel Automotive. He was straight forward when asked specific questions and didn't radiate "sleezy" like so many car salesmen do. I wound up at Gettel because the dealer closer to me in Bradenton had an intimidating climate and was much more interested in selling me anything, rather than what was best for me. Chris didn't do that. He understood what I wanted and worked to get me into the car.Also, he stayed late and took care of us during hours that were convenient. yesterday I had to get my an oil change on my vehicle and your service tech Lou Normand made sure that everything went fast and smooth.Upon completion of the sevice my phone rang and I had to leave urgently. I paid my bill in cash and left. Not even 5 minutes later Lou Normand called me and stated that I had overpaid my bill. It seems that some of my dollar bills had stuck together and he had received too much money. Thank God for Lou's honesty! It's rare in these days to receive great service but it's even harder to find an honest person to refund money that had been overpaid. Keep it up Lou !!! Thank you very much !

I had the most amazing experience with this dealership. It all began when i called to see if they had the model of car i wanted in stock.(11'Elantra limited addition) At the time they didn't but they promised to call me as soon as one came in so i could come by and see it. Two weeks later Renita called me to let me know that one had just arrived. When i arrived i was greeted by name by David and shown the vehicle i was looking for, which was barely unwrapped it was so new. After some # crunching i decided it was out of my budget. David suggested the 11'Sonata which was at the same starting price as the Elantra but explained he could get me more in rebates on this model. We spent the next hour and a half looking at Sonata's all over their lot trying to decide on colors and then test driving. He was very patient with me as i made up my mind. During the whole experience he showed me different options and went out of the way for me. He was never pushy or made me feel rushed about making a decision. When the deal was done he escorted me on a tour that included the service department were i was introduced to the service manager so that when i returned for maintenance i would know were to go and who to see. Their finance manager was also top notch. He apologized for my wait and worked with different banks to find me the best deal and interest rate. During my entire experience everyone took their time to explain everything to me in detail and made me feel like i was their number #1 priority. Overall it was one of the best customer service experiences i've had and since i work retail it takes a lot to impress me. Everyone there was amazing and i have been raving to all my friends and coworkers about this dealership!.

I was quoted a fair price,then received top notch customer service with reasonable financing that was explained clearly. There was no pressure from David Keyso, the salesman assigned to me. My trade in value was also more than fair, and I chose to do business with this dealer, as opposed to many others I had contacted. Within a couple of hours I was driving away in a new car, confident I had made the right decision. I was approached by Glenn Zorn, and he described the differences between the Sonata Limited and the Sonata SE. After I purchased the car, Mr. Zorn proceeded to explain every item about the car, and I (although nervous and tense); was able to understand all the workings of the car. He has a great personality and never once tried to pressure us into buying the vehicle, and we truly believe that he gave us a fair and honest deal.
