I have been dealing with the Hyundai Service Dept for about 10years. Every time I am there, I get nothing less the the Best Service. I usually go through Justin Stump. He keeps me in the loop and communicates with me every step of the way. There’s never any surprises. Most recently, he helped me to get time-sensitive safety issues repaired. I’ll always go back to Justin for service. He’s very nice and knowledgeable. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Evan has always made us feel like we matter as people instead of some sales people that make you feel like a number. This vehicle I got is Exactly what I wanted in terms of a car and Evan went out of his way to make sure I got it even though it took him MONTHS of watching for us. I would say he went above and beyond. I send people here all the time. This is the car dealership I love and due to my passion about this company my brother who lives in the Chicago area got a job with Hyundai. 10/10 would recommend this car company and THIS specific dealership to people.

I think this is a great place to buy a car at whether your looking for something used or new. All of the cars are taken good care of and cleaned very well. They also come at great prices. I went inside and they have great and fast services as well as amazing food! Their popcorn is SO GOOD, and get this... It's FREE!!! They also offer complimentary coffee, and free water. They also have a full vending machine. Their staff is exceptional and I was very satisfied with the car I bought!!!!!!

Me and my wife will definitely recommend Hyundai. Sale people R very friendly and made us feel like family. My wife is highly satisfied with the car and that's the good thing. Just the wait time to sign for the car I understand their were like four sales but still. From the time I got their at 4:30pm and by the time we signed the papers at 8:20pm just to long but I will have to say my wife loves it.

I have taken my Sonata in for servicing for over 3 years. Justin in the Service Department is a gem and total professional; in fact anyone you might have to deal with is wonderful. Yesterday, I traded in the Sonata for a Tucson Sport Ultimate with a lot of "bells and whistles." The purchase may have been one of the easier experiences I've had in purchasing a new car. No "let me see what my manger says," etc., etc., etc. There was a bit of confusion at first on what the purchase actually included, but it was cleared up to my total satisfaction immediately. These folks are the real deal all up and down the chain of command. Each knows his/her job and does it extremely well. I have a beautiful new car sold by a great dealership.

I have taken my Sonata in for service for over 3 years. Excellent department -- Professional and helpful. Yesterday, I was looking around and came home with a 2017 Tucson Sport Ultimate with a lot of "bells and whistles." Purchasing at this dealership was one of the easier experiences I've had in purchasing a car. No pressure. Fair and helpful advice. Upfront all the way. Everyone, no matter his/her function was helpful and wanted to please me. There was a slight miscommunication during the final stage of purchase, but it was remedied immediately to my satisfaction. I can't recommend the "happy car store" enough. One suggestion for improvement: Update your staff names and pictures so everyone is represented and can be credited for their good work!!

This is my second Veloster I love this car first one took me on a trip to Florida $125 in gas down had a full tank when I got there 44 miles to the gallon and you can load that baby up if you need to...holds good on the highway semi's not a problem and it looks like a Porsche ..happy happy happy I love a sporty car and this one fits the bill (55357)(56842)

This is the third Hyundai we have leased and have always been very satisfied until now. We leased our 2015 Elantra on Sept 29, 2014 which now has 18,000 miles on it while we were living in Florida. This week all of a sudden the passenger side in the front seat area floor became soaked with water from under the dashboard. Thee next day, the drivers side seat height adjustment lever shattered, so I called Glenbrook and talked to service, and imagine my surprise to be told that it was not covered! I was told that I will have to pay for all repairs out of my pocket. What Warranty I ask? Certainly wouldn!t want to have anything major where I would be footing the entire bill! The service rep that I talked with said if the lever would just be cracked it would be covered, but they had no way of knowing if we dropped something on it and broke it, give me a break like we were loading concrete blocks thru the drivers door! We are both in our late 60's and we are the only people who drive this car, so we know it just broke while she was raising the seat, she is 5 foot tall and barely weighs 100 lbs, so I don't think she abused it. Anytime that we had Any issues while living in Florida on any one of or leased vehicles Lakeland Hyundai took Great Care of all our concerns, and I highly recommend them. Glenbrook, however no way the totally blew me off with a lame excuse that they would have to pay for the repairs, who cares? That's what warranties are for. By the way about 2 hours later I received a phone call from another person there asking if I was taken care of. I explained everything to him, and he said he would see what he could do, and then he would call me back. Guess what, yep I'm still waiting! I have read their reviews, and now I am convinced that the only reviews that get added are the good ones. Well this one is going to Corperate Hyundai also, and I think it's time to go back to General Motors to this type of treatment !

I'm just frustrated because I paid extra for some "gold" package which included a whole car vacuum but when I went to go home I saw there were still crumbs along the back seat and that the floor mats hadn't been touched but I'd waited so long that I just left without saying anything. I had to go back in because my car said I needed an oil change after just having one and they quickly reset the engine message but were busy again and just looked annoyed n said they'd already vacuumed it when I mentioned the lack of cleaning. The new receptionist was super kind and nice but the guy's on the crew were anything but helpful.

Purchasing a used vehicle from Glenbrook Hyundai The Happy Car Store was not what I had planned for that particular evening on that day of the sale. I was not happy nor was I excited to have acquired a vehicle in such an awful manner.I was very shaken up after going through the process of accepting a raw deal for a used automobile after being introduced to such a stressful environment, which almost seemed hostile. It felt like the salesmen made sure that I had no room to maneuver and no air to breathe, as if there wasnt any realistic way of escaping the inevitability of being dismayed.When I left the building with a brand new, used car, I couldnt believe how exhausted Ive become.The feelings that were going through my mind during the entire ordeal were nervousness, agitation, and frustration.I will never make another purchase from this facility and/or any of its affiliates.

Our experience with Glenbrook Hyundai was like no other customer service experience EVER! Dan Killion was AWESOME in explaining ane showing the details of the car inside and out. He was very nice and professional in his approach and was not pushy nor did he come across as just wanting to sale a car to benefit his own pocket. Sean was also very AWESOME. Before running our credit he made sure he listen to what our issues were and where we were at with the car we currently owned. He did everything within his POWER to get us into the car we wanted and didn't sugarcoat anything. Andre (Finance Manger) SEALED THE DEAL, with his open and honest approach. Hands down the experience was a DELIGHTFUL TREAT LIKE NO OTHER. Service Dept was also very friendly and professional. Best customer service experience all the way around. It's nice to know in this day and age that there are still good people in the world that care regardless of your status, age, or race. We tip our hat to everyone at Glenbrook Hyundai. While on a multiple stop shopping day, my 2012 Sante Fe wouldn't start in the parking lot of a store. My sis-in-law & I were stumped and had that "oh crap" moment. I had full power to everything, but the dash would blink like crazy and the check engine, oil & battery lights went on. Now what? Called my bro-in-law and he came out to jump the battery. Nothing. I had the car towed to Glenbrook Hyundai. When I told the guy (sorry, I can't remember your name, but you've worked here at least 4 years) at the service department what was going on he just looked at me and said, "let me try something". His hunch was correct...the anti-theft device was in good working order! I had used the spare set of keys that day that had 2 key fobs on them. Not knowing how this system really works, I inadvertently set off the system which I couldn't hear because my horn was not working. Well, he got my car started again and replaced the fuse for the horn (that I kept forgetting to do prior) for me all out the of kindness of his heart! My shopping day was saved and I had no bill for a repair!! A BIG thank you!! My Sante Fe has been a great vehicle and service at The Happy Car Store has been awesome these last four years!

Best experience ever at a dealership anywhere! Talked by phone first, had vehicles of interest and features lined up for review when I arrived during my lunch time. Came back after work, picked up the 2016 Genesis to drive home to assure my mother in law would have easy entry and exit ability. Called back to the dealership and asked to have all paperwork ready to sign for I do not desire being there for hours. Everything was ready and in about an hour...the trade in was done and we left with the Genesis as buyers thrilled with a great experience as well as an incredible car.

This place is a joke. I was first told I was approved for a loan - keys in hand and ready to leave when the finance guy comes back and says, sorry you can't take the car.Then a few days later we are told to come back, everything is finalized. Again ... More problems. Payment was too high - way over our budget. Walked out upset again!!! They call back and promised it was all taken care of - no more issues. With hesitation, we go back and get our car.Three weeks later I'm getting a text from Eddie, the sales manager saying to call or they will come repo the vehicle!! Another problem with the loan! I called the bank myself this time and was told that Glenbrook Hyundai told them that the vehicle I was purchasing had 75,000 miles LESS than what it actually had!! The terms of the loan needed to be changed and now my payment was going to be $450 per month for a car with 97,000 miles on it.They got their vehicle back!!! Oh - almost forgot to mention that when we got the vehicle home - it had NO OIL in it!!

Overall we were really satisfied with his introduction to our new car. Thanks so much for the time he took with us. One thing that I really appreciate was when he was closing all our papers he asked if I was ever a member of the armed forces. I said that was almost 50 years ago and he said that it didn't matter when. There would be a $500. credit for past service personnel. That was great and I sent him a copy of my Honorable Discharge from the US Army. Thanks so much for you detail in going through all the paperwork as well.

The bad - Had to use service bathroom. Not clean at all. Urinal overflowed. Disgusting. Had to run my credit report twice. First time it was low which I questioned. (I know what my credit score is ) When we were leaving (not buying car) all of a sudden my credit score was great! The good - Joe was very helpful. Staff was very courteous. We love the car.

Our new car is wonderful! We appreciate the VIP treatment at the dealership. I would recommend a new Equus or Genesis to anyone who use to buy American luxury cars, but no longer like the American luxury car products which are being produced. Our car is made with old time quality and has cutting edge technology. The fit and finish of the car is more than excellent. The ride quality and handling is unsurpassed! I drove all the available new car models before this purchase. In my search I only found one car comparable to this vehicle; Mercedes-Benz. After listening to numerous reviews on YouTube I finally selected the HYUNDAI Equus (From 2017 and on it will be known as the G90.) In fact, I ended up with a car as nice as the one with the front grill "star" for half the cost. I can only say, "My new car rides and handles like an S Class." Now for the dealership... let me say that my salesperson, the "Car Selling Grandma" - Lois Dennis - was thoughtful, knowledgeable, helpful, understanding, and one of the best car consultants I have ever had. And finally let me say that the dealership IS a happy place to visit. The sales manager, finance manager, and service manager all took time to introduce themselves to us. Everyone took very good care of us and made sure we have everything we needed. That included a snack and a soft drink. (And by the way, the restroom facilities were available and clean.) Thank you GLENBROOK HYUNDAI FORT WAYNE, Indiana for a "low key", no pressure, expedited sales experience. I brought my Veracruz in for a recall appointment. Front valve cover and alt. replacement. Also, wanted my air bag checked and diagnosed, hoping that maybe under the high resistance clockspring recall. Changed back in 2014. So I had it checked for 99.99. I purchased a 2012 hybrid with only 19000 miles. I hand nothing but problems. Over heating, electrical and now Bluetooth went out. The warranty went out on it but I purchased and exstendes warranty on it. The only thing that saved except for the Bluetooth. I have less than a 100,000 miles on it and they are going to change me $100.00 to repair it. So far I have over $500.00 to repair it. I have had other cars fords, Chevrolet and Chryslers and did not have the problem.I called the sales manager and he said trade it it. I said not why buy another car that will not hold up. As before, we were considering a Ford Edge for our next vehicle and drove one and liked it. But I still needed to check out Hyundai as we would be trading in our Sonata and really liked the people at Glenbrook Hyundai. We met with Dakota because our previous salesman Ted was on vaca. First drove a nice Tucson. Liked it but it was small. So next came the Sante Fe, and we loved it. Price was good,features were great and it got a tad bit more mileage than the Edge. Can't wait for vacation in this ride! We'll miss the 40+ mpg of our 2011 Sonata,also a great car.

We bought a 2016 Elantra off of Dakota Bailey. This guys is magnificent does not push you he gets you in a vehicle that will last you and take care of your needs. We are going to be looking at getting another car within the next year and highly recommend these guys especially Dakota. They don't treat you as a dollar sign the truly care about what you need and getting you a great vehicle. The experience of buying a car can be stressful and nerve racking but however they made it very comfortable. I also spoke with them leading up to meeting them for a test drive for a week and they gave me plenty of information and helped me understand what I would be looking for. Financing also did well with us as we finished up with them and they stuck around to prevent us from having to come back up a second night to buy the car. Thanks to all the people involved helping us get the car.

Very friendly and great service! They did a great job explaining everything and making sure I was comfortable throughout the entire process. as it was a Saturday, we were unable to take the time to get some work done that needed done, other than an oil change - Rob gave us a nice, brand new Sonata to drive for the day so we could pick up our 2009 Sonata later that day - all the work was done on time and they checked with us before doing any other work that may have needed doing - it was a pleasant experience and we were impressed with some of the new features of the Sonata that was loaned to us

I got my first lease from them back in 2010. I had a trade that I was upside down on so I knew I would have some roll over, no biggie. So in 2012 they call and asked if I would be interested in gettting into a new lease, said they could get me in one for less than what I was paying now. So I like having a new car so I said sure I'll come in. So ended up getting the new car with actaully a 10 more a month payment...why I did this I will never know. Well after the deal I was looking at my paperwork and they put the same amount of negative from my original trade onto the new purchas, so I paid the full negative price twice. So now when we went in to just buy out the lease they could not even find the car in their system at first and had a lot of issue even knowing how to do the paperwork for me to buy it out even though we had the check from our bank and everything all set up. I tell you I'm glad to be out from under this dealer in any way shape for form. I would never go back there for anything no matter how sweet the deal may be.

So I was first introduced to Nate when I first stepped on the lot. I told him I was originally just there to see what I had to do to get a different car from the one I had at the time. I told him my situation (poor credit, $0 down payment, etc) and he worked with me. He looked for cars, found one, talked to his boss, even helped me look up insurance policies for the car I wanted to get. He ended up getting me a 2015 Elantra, I was absolutely mind blown.. still am. I would not recommend going anywhere else in Fort Wayne and he's the one I'll always go to when it comes to cars. I could not thank him enough for the effort and things he's done for me. After I dealt with E.J., and he was the same way! He helped me out to understand things, explained ideas, was very personable. Nate and E.J., are the only ones I plan on seeing in the future!

I bought a Hyundai elantra two months ago and I had instant regret because they were extremely rude the moment I signed the paperwork. Chris Jasso made false promises to me and ridiculed me for not getting it on paper. I called the general manager, Mark McKibben, twice and he finally returned my call after two weeks. We talked and he quickly got off the phone saying he would talk to his sales guys and call me back but I haven't heard a word. The car was financed incorrectly by John McCard and I didn't get my paperwork to get my license plates until multiple dead end phone calls. FINALLY, he said he forgot to get a copy of my drivers license so he couldn't finalize the paperwork. After getting the paperwork, I realized everything was incorrect. To summarize, they sold me a car that was supposedly detailed but it was filthy. It had no oil in it, it was not inspected even though it was still under warranty and the checklist was "complete", the second time I had it "detailed" there was trash in the glove compartment and crumbs on the seat, my temporary plates expired before I got my paperwork so I couldn't drive the car, I received incorrect paperwork, the GM won't return phone calls and when he finally did he blew me off, my brother never received his $100 referral incentive. WORST CAR BUYING EXPERIENCE EVER!!

Was promptly contacted by the dealer after and internet inquiry. Met with E.J. to test drive several vehicles and he was very kind and I never felt rushed as I was there for nearly 3 hours. I was even able to take the car home for an overnight test drive. Went back the next day to work on a financial deal and was very pleased with the results and how the sales manager was willing to accomodate our needs. This is my second new vehicle purchase through this dealer and they hit it out of the park with great customer service. Thank you!

Had a 2005 Hyundai Elantra. Check engine on all the time. This dealership couldn't or wouldn't fix it. Just wanted my money. Problem started at 30,000 miles and ended at 63,000 miles when I sold the money pit. Junk, Junk, junk. NEVER will buy another one!!!!!!!!!

Was disappointed wth the price for flushing and filling fluids (45,000 service). It was $320! I only did so because Justin stated the previous owner was negligent in servicing vehicle and the fluids were low and dirty. My regular mechanic advises against this, but decided to do it anyway this time. Also was told it would be $100 just to check a service light (TPMS light) on panel. (REALLY!?) Was very pleased with the oil change price of 4 for $68, but it seems like the rest of the recommended service points are a bit "over the top" in procedure and pricing.

I made an appointment for a thursday and just couldn't make it for friday (something came up) The salesman also had a sick child on that friday as well. so no harm no foul. then monday I was able to make it. test drove 2 vehicles. ended up in the second one and drove it home. I dont feel like i got taken. I had a good experience. and i think the car i have now is as reliable as it can be. Peace of mind=pound of gold. oh, and i have heated seats again. It's like the matrix. the red pill is heated seats. have them once, you'll never go back.

Glenbrook Dodge is a prime example of top service. Whenever I have service completed on my Chrysler 200, I always find it a pleasant experience. The staff is welcoming and respectful and most recognize that I am a regular customer. I am given a complete outline of the work to be done and the cost is accurate. The waiting room is a pleasant corner with space to get paper work accomplished awhile enjoying a free soft drink. The staff sticks closely to the amount of time so I can get a task done while my car is given the repairs or service it needs. This is my second car purchased from Glenbook. I went through the Costco program. I was contacted by a salesman and we had a confirmed appt. Great, not so fast as the salesman failed to keep the appt and he went home. I was mad, very mad. Your sales manager saved me by getting me a wonderful, dedicated and compassionate saleslady. Angie saved the deal. The sale went through, but then your service dept let my car off the lot when it was not prepared to go. I had purchased the extra flashing brake dole light and nitrogen filled tires.. I paid for those, but what you pay for isn't always what you get. I had to make an extra trip to your service dept. to get the flashing dole light installed and nitrogen into my tires.Otherwise I am very satisfied. Things can always go wrong, but what makes a company is how the problems get fixed. This situation was fixed with a smile and a sincere apology by the service manager. With that alone, will bring me back for service.

I spent all yesterday and then today trying to find out how much it would cost to fix my car and if it would be covered under my warranty because my check engine light came on and the code was P2562- boost control position sensor "A" They kept telling me they can't tell me how much it will cost until I pay 100 dollars for them to do a diagnostic test, which I already had done for free. So I ended my chat with them told them I wasn't going to be using their services because I spent 2 days trying to get an answer and their customer service is horrible. My dealer called me right after that and told me that he had called that same hyundai dealership told them the code and that it was sensor A because that is what i told my dealer and gave them my VIN number and they then told him that it would cost me 140 to fix it, however they lied to me and told me they couldn't give an estimate until they knew exactly what was wrong after I make an appointment with them that would cost 100 dollars for the diagnostic test.

Justin Stump is a wonderful communicator. By that I mean he is very friendly over the phone and discusses clearly all tasks that need to be performed on a vehicle. While the service on our car was being performed Justin made it possible for us to have a nearly new Genesis to drive. When Our car was delivered back to our hone it had been thoroughly washed on the outside and cleaned on the inside. Kudos to Glenbrook Hyundai and Justin Stump for taking great care of our car. Just returned home with our new Santa Fe GLS, and we couldn't be happier! This was the first time we'd been inside a dealership and not felt intimidated or pressured. All the sale staff we dealt with were extremely friendly, courteous and professional. They worked very hard to put us in the vehicle we wanted at a price we could afford. After the sale was complete, our primary salesman Cody spent the time necessary to explain the features of our new SUV, and even linked our iPhones through the Santa Fe's bluetooth. Made a deal with salesman on saturday 12/14/13 to purchase a impala listed on internet.When i called salesman on monday 12/1613 he told me car had been sold. According to the carfax they provide this car was sold at auction on 12/9/13.Car was not available to purchase. I was lied to.This is why good dealers get a bad name because of dealers like this.I spoke to sales manager on 12/17/13 and he was no help and had no answers.I would not deal with any of the Glennbrook auto family unless you want to waste your time and be treated rudley.

I've owned 3 Hyundai autos. I have currently a 2011 Sonata Turbo 2.0T. Very happy with the performance and quality of all three Hyundais. During the past few months my Check Engine light has been coming on and Glenbrook's service staff did everything they could to determine what was causing the light to illuminate. The third time was in mid-October, just a few days before I had to begin a lengthy drive on business into Western and Upper New York State. I was apprehensive about making the trip without having solved the Check Engine Light mystery, fearing that I would be stuck in the wilds of Northern New York without a reliable place to service my car. I explained my concerns to Justin Stump in their service department. He seemed to understand the urgency of my situation. So, I left the car with him on Monday, October 14th, and Justin set me up with a loaner car. He kept the car until Wednesday, October 16th. I picked the car up on that Wednesday evening and immediately began my drive to New York. All went well that day and the next. No Check Engine light! No other problems. I was delighted. I was even more delighted when I received a call late the next day from Justin Stump. He called to make sure that they had resolved the Check Engine Light issue and that the car was performing faultlessly. They had and it was! I've been driving for about 55 years, and in all that time, this is the first and only time that any dealer's service tech has bothered to follow-up on anything. Glenbrook should be commended for employing people like Justin Stump. It shows that they really take the customer service business seriously. My husband & I purchased a 2009 Hyundai Sonata from them 4 years ago & had a good experience. But unfortunately, my most recent purchase was awful. I won't bore you with all the details, but besides being "misinformed" (or lied to) about the used vehicle I was purchasing, they also sold me a car that needed repair work done totaling about $300 that they KNEW ABOUT but never informed me of before selling me the car. I have proof because 2 weeks after my car purchase I had to take it back in to have the oil changed (yes, they never checked to see if the oil needed changed before selling it!). Anyways, the paperwork they gave me from the oil change had "Previously Declined Recommendations" on it totaling about $300 in repair work. When I asked the Service Department about it I was told that that info should have been deleted from the system! That is deceptive & fraudulent and THESE ARE THEIR NORMAL BUSINESS PRACTICES!!! General Manager is aware of my complaints & finally got back with me last week letting me know he's just been so busy but that he would address my concerns at their next weekly meeting & get back with me early the following week. Thursday morning (of the week he said Id hear from him EARLY IN THE WEEK) I sent him an e-mail letting him know I wasnt too happy that I hadnt heard from him yet & that I expected to hear from him by the end of the day. Well, guess whatIve heard nothing out of him. Guess he's too busy again to deal with a customer complaint. I'll be filing an official complaint with the BBB and Dept of Consumer Affairs. They should have their business practices audited! The Happy Car Store has a Very Unhappy Customer! I would advise you to take your business somewhere else, especially if youre looking at buying a used car.

My husband took his car to Hyundai in Fort Wayne because I was out of town when his engine light came on. We purchased the vehicle brand new on a lease at Ray Skillman in Indianapolis. The guy in Fort Wayne had my husband sign a paper stating he would pay $90 for the diagnostic but told him not to worry "it would probably go away" due to the warranty. We were charged $120! The service center told my husband he needed a brand new engine in his 2011 sonata!! I could not believe this! The car is brand new under warranty and this didn't make any sense to me. Hyundai in Fort Wayne wanted us to pay $5000 for them to work on the engine that is under warranty. When I called Ray Skillman in Indy the employee couldn't believe I had been charged. When I called Hyundai in Fort Wayne to tell them I wanted my money back he told me my husband signed a legal document and I was out of luck. He also told me our car has never had the oil changed and he had to flag our vehicle (whatever that meant). I have all the documentation to prove the oil has been changed numerous times and we have 3 vehicles we take to the same Jiffy Lube for years and have never had a problem. The engine light was still on so I took it to our local garage. The guy couldn't believe what we were told. He said the guy was obviously trying to rip us off we under NO circumstance need that kind of work and he looked up the hyundai recommended mileage for oil change and its 7500 miles....we change at 3000! Please safe yourself the trouble and find a reliable service department. I dont know what their hiring practices are but the service dept. will rip you off. It is so unfortunate to come across people of this nature.

The process took a very small amount of time to complete my lease agreement and went very well. I decided to get a vehicle that was just taken off the truck so they had to run it through PDI. I was there about 4 hours but the salesman Chris really went the extra mile to make sure I was well taken care of and even helped the team that washes and cleans the cars out to get me out of there fast. He never made me feel like I had to run my credit first before I looked at the vehicle and even let me take one home Friday night to make sure I really liked it. Great team of people at Hyundai! Love my new car and the fact that I can go in there and be taken care of like Chris did for an extended amount of time! Thanks Chris and Shane for your hard work and dedication!

Bought a 2005 new and have had nothing but trouble and now at 64,000 miles, the repair man at hyundai is just putting parts on and can't repair the car. The check engine light is always on and they can repair it. I would NEVER send someone over to buy one. They offered to "buy" the car back, but offered me an insulting price for it. They just want to make money off of me.

Please note I have *never* posted a negative review of any service and/or product. However, I feel so strongly about my story, I wanted to pass it along to others. Long story short, I recently purchased a Hyundai Veloster from Glenbrook Hyundai the so called Happy Car Store. As part of the purchase, I traded in my vehicle which had two hardwired components (car devices that are plugged directly into the cars power source not via a cigarette lighter for example) specifically a radar detector and GPS unit. I did remove the actual components, but the power cords (again, still hardwired) were left in the car and I asked my Sales and Leasing Consultant (Ryan Coleman) if the dealer could remove them so as to not damage them or a part of the vehicle. Ryan said absolutely, but such would have to take place the next day as I purchased the Veloster on a Sunday and was told a proper tech was not available to perform such action. He stated once the cords were removed, they would be mailed to me. A week later, no package arrived. I called Ryan to obtain a status. He stated the cords were in the maintenance area and they would be shipped shortly. Another week later, no package. I called Ryan once more and was told my vehicle, which I traded in, was sent to auction with the cords. I was beyond furious. His solution was for me to go online and purchase the cords as they could not be more than $20, $25 dollars. I told him that was unacceptable and to transfer me to a manger. He did. Since then, I have spoken with two sales managers and escalated the situation to the GM - Mark McKibben. Although he never apologized or seemed sincere, it appeared I was finally making progress. Again, his solution was for me to find the cords online and send the listings (eBay, Amazon, etc.) to him via his personal e-mail address. I spent my own time, found the cords, sent the listings to him, and asked either for reimbursement, or for a check to be sent and I would purchase. I have yet to hear from him this was three weeks ago.This situation has gone on-and-on for over two+ months with no apologize nor any real assistance. I love my Veloster, but I would *never* purchase a car from Glenbrook Hyundai or recommend them to my worst enemy. And please be aware of **Ryan Coleman**! I have never been treated so poorly, including lied to and insulted. Dont get me wrong, he was quite attentive before the purchase, but after is another story. He has no integrity, but has the nerve to send me an e-mail stating how hard the car business is and to recommend him to friends and family. A complete joke.

My family was in the market for a family sedan. We looked at a 2010 Nissan Maxima SV first. This car apparently had been in some type of accident. Had a big set of scuffs and scratches on the back fender. As we took it out for a drive the car was pulling really hard to the right, and was making a rubbing sound. Obviously, there was an issue with someone on this car, wish they would have told me before hand, or had it fixed before it was out on the lot for sale? Of course there were other minor things as well, cupholder wouldn't pop open, some leather damage etc. Naturally they said they would service it, but that should have been done already. So we decided to give them another chance by driving one of their own, a 2011 Hyundai Sonata limited. Literally we got in the car drove to the edge of the lot, and felt a clunking sound when the wheels rotated. Really? Another issue on a car that was on their lot? That's ridiculous. Watch out for these people. They don't disclose any issues, and apparently don't service their cars before they put them on their lot, so pay attention and look/listen for issues.

I was told that the factory warranty would extend to the 2010 Sonata I purchased and the difference I was quoted was around $4,000. I was in a hurry because I had a lot of junk in the vehicle I was trading in. I was quoted and presented the offer of $4,000 difference and had agreed to this, I was running late for work so was signing forms without reading them thoroughly. The "closing" manager had added $2,242 and titled it "service contract" They have a sign posted to get everything in writing. The original offer of $4,000 difference should have been honored. The additional $2,242, will cover approximately 48,000 miles. The sales person said the factory warranty would cover these miles. I realize the dealership makes 50% commission on each warranty they sale, however this additional $2,242 puts me up side down, I now owe over $20,000 for a vehicle that has a book value of less than 14K. Not happy.

Ive purchased and sold many cars over my lifetime. Never have I had a better experience than with John at Glenbrook Hyundai (The Happy Car Store) in Fort Wayne, IN. Our youngest son needed to trade in his older model car so we decided to start looking around. He had a couple vehicles in mind that interested him and added the Hyundai Veloster to that list when his older brother mentioned it to him. After the test drive, he knew it was the right choice for him. The look and feel of the vehicle won him over but with a 34 mile roundtrip daily commute for work, the gas mileage increase topped it off. He didnt even bother to test drive another car. John made us a deal we couldnt refuse so hes now the proud, HAPPY owner of a Hyundai Veloster. Thanks John for making this an actually enjoyable car buying experience for us all! P.S. Had a great experience from beginning to end starting with a friendly greeting upon arrival and ending with a final run through of car features right before we drove the car off the lot. The dealership was extremely busy (can understand why) on Saturday and throughout the entire experience everyone we had contact with did whatever they could to ensure we were comfortable as we completed the process of getting our new car. LOVE our new Genesis. Salesman (Cleveland Brock) was very easy to work with, and we didn't feel like we were "getting worked over" by a car salesman. He's very honest, and knows EVERYTHING about the car and all the perks. Got a great deal, very willing to do whatever it took to make us happy. Kurt (the finance guy) made things a breeze for us (it could have been the stellar credit rating), but we got the feeling that he treats ALL his customers like a number 1 priority. Slid through without any problems. This will most likely be our last car purchase, but if it's not, going forward, all our cars will be Hyundai's sold by the good folks at the Happy Car Store.

There was never any pressure to buy. All of our questions were answered to our satisfaction with the assurance that we were free to come back and ask more if necessary. Stopped into the lot at Glenbrook Hyundai just to look at their offerings. Roughly 3 hours later, we are driving a new 2013 Elantra home. We were greeted by one Justin Stuckey. We told him what we were looking for, and this would be in trade for a 2008 Pontiac G6. Took a 2013 Elantra Limited for a test drive, went back to the dealership, crunched some numbers, gave a little, took a little... All's well that ends well. Now, don't get me wrong.. Justin is VERY good at his job,for the dealership and for his customers. Maybe some additional dickering would have netted us a bit more of a gain, but my wife and I feel we were treated very FAIRLY. Personal service, and a painless purchase. As a military veteran, I qualified for a 500 dollar discount. As I needed to submit a copy of my DD214, besides bringing the second set of keys from the trade in, I stopped in the dealership the following day. While I was there, Justin showed me around the dealership, which by the way is very modern and customer friendly.Sorry for the sheer volume of words here, but in a nutshell..Very pleased.

I was recommended to this dealership and to Joe through a few friends and family members, I wanted to get out of my BMW I had and get back into an SUV. I told him what I was looking for, a Lexus or BMW SUV with low miles and a reasonable price. I contacted Joe, he said he would do some checking, he was in touch several times, and within a week he was able to find a Lexus SUV that was exactly what I was looking for. They gave me a great price for my trade in and a great deal on the new vehicle. I love the Lexus and all of the additional room. Joe was very friendly, not high pressured at all, and has followed up with me several times to make sure I am still happy. He encouraged me to call if anything should go wrong, and they would gladily help me out. I will definitely be going back to do business with them, and would recommend Joe and Glenbrook Hyundai to anyone looking for an easy quality car buying experience!

I was four hours away from home and accidentally locked my keys in the trunk of my new Sonata. My car was towed to Glenbrook Hyundai and when they were not able to make a laser key for me ( it would take two days,and I had to be at work the next day at 7:00 am) they told me no worry. They would get in and get it opened. It took three mechanics to take out the back seat and one squeezed in and out through the trunk ( an a very hot afternoon). They saved my husband from a four hour drive to bring me the extra set of keys! I believe one of the workers was already off the clock. Thank you Glenbrook Hyundai ( George and Todd) and all the rest of the staff that saved my day.Not only do I have a first class car, but also can count on first class service. And I owed them just a thank you for all their trouble. THANKS Glenbrook Hyundai in Ft. Wayne!!!!

I couldn't have asked for a better experience than I had with Ryan and all the other folks I worked with at Glenbrook Hyundai. Ryan asked good questions to make sure he was fitting me with a vehicle that would meet my needs. I ended up purchasing a Veloster and I love it! They worked with the bank to get my terms manageable, and didn't try to 'tack on' additions that every other dealership I've ever dealt with tries to do.I will be back, but hopefully, it won't be for a very long time. I plan on enjoying this car to it's fullest!In short, if you are on the fence about getting a new(er) car, I would check these guys out - especially Ryan, I'm confident they will get you something that works with your budget!

I went to Glenbrook huyndai on 4/30/12 to get my 2011 Elantra serviced, while sitting in the waiting area a salesman that I had done business with before came and sat down to talk to me. When he found out that I did not purchase my car from glenbrook Huyndai he asked me why. When I told him why he said we have to fix this. He talked to someone in the front office and they remembered the situation that happened in November. Fix it they did, I picked up my 2012 Limted Elantra later that day. No higher Payment or cost. I almost cried because it's not often that you come across a person or business that will admit to let alone fix their mistakes. I feel really blessed.

My experience with Chris Jasso was very pleasent and professional. Chris went out of his way to do what had to be done in the most painless way possible. After owning Cadillacs for a number of years I was and am concerned how the new Senota will perform (ridewise) over the rode. I have less than 200 miles logged on this vehicle, and so far I'm thinking it is going to be an adjustment. Short wheelbase is just that. One will never get the ride on short versus longer wheelbase.We are a little confused with the GPS. when we drive south, the map is turned around and the indicator indicates we are going north. The Interstate is on the left side of the screen when it should be on the right. We thank Chris for his kindness.

I will likely write a new review once I work with a different salesman. Perhaps it was because of the Christmas holiday being so near(maybe he had more shopping to do!), but David Dilly was EXTREMELY high pressure. I entered the dealership (having worked with a different salesman prior) and made it very clear that I would not be purchasing a car that day. The test drive went wonderfully, and David was very knowledgeable about the vehicle. He was able to answer all of the questions I had. Then came the pressure to buy "What if I can lower your payments? What if we offer you more for your trade? What if, what if, what if? What can I do to get you into this car today?" THEY DIDN'T EVEN HAVE THE MODEL I WANTED! I finally told him that he was more likely to make a sale if he let me go home than to keep asking me to buy a car on the spot. I have since requested to work with the salesman who had helped me prior, but I am still a bit nervous about going back in to discuss making a purchase; even more so than I was initially.

I had a very good experience at Glenbrook Hyundai recently. I purchased a 2012 Sonata and the salesperson was so friendly she made it easy for me to decide what I wanted to do. I love my car, they had the prices on the side of the window with the price of the warranty covering the additional 100,000 miles right in front so I knew what it cost. When I got down to getting the deal I had in mind, they worked me. The sales manager even came down to talk to me making it seem personal. I know I will keep my car for along time but I will tell all of my friends and family to go shop at Glenbrook Hyundai.

Glenbrook Hyundai... I just purchased my brand new 2012 Hyundai Sonata from this dealership. I was very impressed with the attitude of not only my salesman, but the entire dealership. They nailed VIP treatment to a tee. Today, is a very rainy day and my salesman took the time to pull the vehicle we liked into a garage. We were able to see every feature on the vehicle, and experience the test drive. Good thing they had a huge supply of inventory. I was not planning on buying today, but after the amazing treatment I received, it just made sense. I strongly recommend reaching the internet department at Glenbrook Hyundai, in your next vehicle search. Top notch treatment, and they truly are committed to servicing the customer. My salesman, John Purdy, even called me on my newly paired cell phone to make sure my bluetooth phone was working correctly. Great product, with outstanding commitment to serve.

I was on the look out for a car with great gas millage and stopped in at the Happy Car store where I met Lois Dennis. She greeted me with profession and treated me with patience and honesty. I found that the showroom was not only clean and inviting but was also shown a kids playroom where my children could sit an play and watch cartoons to give me a more enjoyable shopping experience. while working with a salesperson on the purchase of a new 2012 model hyundai,we had agreed on a price with trade in. when the final papers were presented to me and my wife, there was a substantial amount added to the msrp of this vehical. I questioned this of course and was told this extra cost was for the extended 20 yr, 200.000 mi. warranty. We never discussed this option the whole time we were making deal. I told them I did'nt want this and take it off. The sales mgr. said i had too buy the warranty or they would'nt sale me the car because they allowed me too much money for my trade. I've never heard of such crap. I believe they tried to sneek one over on me so I walked. Even tried to let them make it right, but after conversing back and forth with manager of dealership by e-mails,I decided to let it go. This experience with glenbrook hyundai was unprofessional and unexcusable to say the least. nice product, not so nice sales dept. The happy store? RIGHT!

Justin and the dealership did very well trying to get me a payment plan that fit into my budget. I was shown a car that better suited my needs than the car I originally chose. My only concerns with the vehicle itself is that the dealers didn't disclose to me that the vehicle required premium fuel. The driving noise of the car has not gone away despite the "developed rust on brakes from sitting". All of the staff at the dealership appeared to be in good, positive moods.

Salesman was friendly, not pushy, and answered all our questions. The entire buying experience went smoothly and was totally enjoyable. We now have 750 miles on the vehicle and really like it. We have two more vehicles coming up for renewal in the near future and we will definitely consider Glenbrook Hyundai and Mr. Hall.

This was the 1st new car I have ever purchased, & it turned out to be a horrific experience. The day after I bought it I returned to the dealership to ask about the strange noise it was making. The service dept. said it was typical of Sonatas to make that noise. After driving it for another week I thought this shouldn't sound the way it does & went back to listen to another Sonata. I found out the noise wasn't typical & there was in fact something wrong w/ the car. If the service dept doesn't really know if something is wrong, they need to state that they don't know instead of assuming. Within the 1st 10 days of owning the 2012 Sonata I had to take it in twice. 1st for a defective stereo, then for a bad compressor/bearings & pulley. This is not what I expect from a new vehicle right off the lot. They now have my car for the next 3 days to repair the compressor & want to make an additional appt to replace the stereo next week. Once the problem w/ the car was diagnosed I was contacted by the service dept. opposed to the salesman I was originally dealing with. I believe the salesperson should have followed up & discussed the problem considering he was aware of the whole situation. I stated my frustration w/ this particular vehicle suggested it was a problematic car. He said there is nothing that can be done other than have the service dept. keep fixing the problems. At this point I feel as if I have made a poor decision by purchasing this car & hope it at least holds up for the life of the loan.

So super happy with my car and my experience with Larry Francis at Glenbrook Hyundai. Larry was excellent in explaining everything and helping me through the process. I feel I got a fair deal and more than expected on my trade. Finance department was super helpful. I would definitely reccomend Larry to my friends and and family. Great guy, completely upfront and honest with us. And made a huge impression on my young daughter!

This was by far the best car-buying experience I've ever had. I am 46 years old and I've recently gone through a divorce and a bankruptcy. I live in Goshen but work in downtown Ft. Wayne. I put 35k miles a year on whatever I drive.I wanted to deal with facts and I absolutely did not want to play games with prices. Brent Stuckey worked very well with me by listening to me first, and then offering suggestions to help me. We talked about the my driving habits, the mileage, features, and options I wanted, the true value of my trade-in and the true value of the cars for sale. Brent worked very hard to help me determine which payment amount and length and terms of loan that would be best for me based on the cars I was interested in. We discussed the value of newer and older body styles versus the length of financing options. I appreciated the attention he gave to what I wanted, instead of steering me to something he wanted me to buy.I decided to purchase a beautiful used 2011 Hyundai Sonata with 30k miles, right off the showroom floor, and I could not be happier. Once I had determined which car to purchase and had agreed to the terms of the loan, Curt Kinsey stepped in and renegotiated my rate with the lender down even further, allowing me to pickup some gap insurance without increasing my payment. I'm now on my way to rebuilding my credit and I've got a safe, beautiful car, that's fun-to-drive, with an excellent warranty, in a payment range I can live with.I will recommend Brent, Curt and Glenbrook Hyundai to my family and friends, including my daughter who fell in love with the Sonata and wants to trade-in her mustang.Thanks Guys! I was very pleased with the overall appearance of the dealeership. I had made arrangements to meet the slesman - Asron Cox- at a specific time and he was ready for me. I had been looking for a Sonata, and they had only one in stock, which was exactly what I wanted. Aaron showed me around the dealership, including the expansive service department. Larry and the staff were great to deal with. Larry took the time to show us every car we wanted to look at from new to used. This took over three hours of his time and he was happy to help. In the end we bought a 2011 Sonata. Larry to the time when we picked up the car to go over all the features and set up the Bluetooth feature for my wife. Out of the three dealerships we visited (Kia, Ford, Hyundai) to buy a new car the Glenbrook Hyundai dealer was by far the very best. Their showroom is neat and organized, friendly people great you as soon as they see you entering, there is popcorn, soda, coffee and free WIFI available for customers. The 2011 Elantra is so popular, they can't even keep them in stock. We had to wait 3 days for ours to come in, which was really a pain because we had only one car to get two people to work and I had to drive 80 miles a day because of that. When I called and asked Glenbrook Hyundai on Tuesday how much longer we'd have to wait, they said if our car doesn't come in by tomorrow, Wednesday, they'd give us a rental car for free.This was the first really 'new' new car I bought, and I felt very good about it, thanks to Glenbrook Hyundai.

I recently purchased a new Elantra at Hyundai Glenbrook, Ft Wayne IN. As a recent widow, this was my first time to buy a car on my own so I was a bit hesitant about making such an important decision. Justin Stuckey met me with a big smile and treated me with such respect. I explained that I was just looking and had some questions. He talked with me for about an hour and I asked if he would meet with me and my brother the next day. We set up an appointment and the next day, Justin patiently answered all of the questions that my brother presented. It took about three weeks for MY new Elantra to be delivered and Justin spent a long time with me-explaining everything I asked. He reassured me that I could come back with a list of questions and he would be happy to help-whenever I needed to do so. There was an issue about some of my documentation when I signed the purchase agreement, and everyone at Glenbrook Hyundai was very professional and helpful as we tried to determine the cause of the problem. I already had an appointment set up but when I arrived I was greeted right away. All the sales staff were very friendly. Some were even joking around with me about my Chicago Bears hat I was wearing. My sales person Justin was very friendly and helpful. He did everything he could to meet my needs and get me a deal that fit my budget. I will definitely recommend Glenbrook Hyundai to other people based on my experience.I have been to other dealers in the past and had horrible experiences. Many of them didn't even try to help me in finding a car or even a good deal. When you walk in and state what you're looking for and your budget and the dealer tries to sell u a vehicle that you can't afford that tells me they don't care about you. But Glenbrook Hyundai did the exact opposite. They did their "magic" and got me into a vehicle I could afford. Matt J.

We were not planing on buying a car, when we stopped in. We were just going to lookk at small cars to save gas driving back and forth to work. Brandon met us in the lot and from there it is history. We explained what we were looking for and he said to come inside with him. In side was the neatest little 2011 Accent. It was the Saturday Sale Special. We told him what payment we were looking for and it fit into our budget. He explained all the extras and the warrenties. That is what sold us on the car.
