I have never been to more friendlier car lot in my life. I can honestly say they made this vehicle purchasing experience so pleasant. No high pressure sales. Willie help me with exactly what I was looking for. I can't say enough nice things about this family oriented business. Attitude reflects leadership. The attitude at this business is outstanding. Hamby Automotive and Boris in particular made my vehicle search and purchase the best experience I have ever had at a dealership. They are knowledgeable, professional and to the point. The kind of no-nonsense experience you wan when making a major purchase. I would trust that they treat every customer and every deal as if it is the most important one.

Beware of buying anything used from this dealership. I bought a 2014 Chevrolet Silverado just a month ago. A little after a week of having the truck I started hearing a knocking noise in the front end. Now when I was buying the truck the sales lady told me that the truck had been serviced and 100 point inspected by their service team and there was nothing wrong with the truck. I have now had to replace the upper and lower ball joints on both front sides, the tie rods on both front sides, and the struts for the entire front. It has cost me over $2000 to have this replaced. I called the dealership before I had any work done to the repairs, let them know what I had found wrong only a week after buying it. They then tell me that the certified inspection wasn’t completed when traded in because of after market parts. They did not tell me this during the buying process and assured me that everything had been checked out and was good to go. This place is a rip off and there service department is complete garbage and liars.

I wanted to take a moment and express my sincerest appreciation to Hamby Service Department and Mr Hamby. I had a large mechanical issue with my vehicle. Although I had purchased my vehicle at another dealership, Hamby was so helpful. After initially contacting the dealership I purchased my vehicle from(with NO HELP)and several others in the middle Georgia area.....no one else was willing to even try. But after contacting Hamby they offered to see what they could do. They worked their magic and made it happen. My service writer was Red (Brian). He really stayed on top of it, along with Don the Service Manager AND Mark Hamby himself! And all of this even though I purchased the vehicle from another dealership. I will be recommending Hamby automotive and Service Department to everyone I know.

Recently I had the pleasure of purchasing a vehicle from Hamby Chevrolet. We ended up on their lot by divine intervention. When we pulled onto the lot, Wayne Morris, was standing out front. Boy, what a blessing that was. I have bought many vehicles over the years but this was one of the best experiences I have had. No pressure and I feel like I received a good fair deal. Everyone, starting with Mr. Hamby (who was there on a Saturday morning), to Mack sales manager and Ryan in finance were the absolute nicest and down to earth people. I highly recommend giving them a chance to earn your business. You will not be disappointed! I know you've heard all of the car dealer cliche's but Hamby is the standard by which all others should strive to be! Definitely business done right. Thank you For allowing us to become part of the Hamby car buying family.

I give Hamby a perfect "5." Have never before bought a car sight-unseen, but they inspired such confidence that I did so. They had a hard to find item, an almost new Yukon SLT with captain's chairs and 4wd. There were sufficient pics on the web site and it looked absolutely new. We had granddaughters for the week and it would have been very inconvenient for me to travel the 300 miles to Georgia to do the deal. Hamby promised to deliver the car to me in Florida and would just take it back if I was not satisfied. Michael Norton was my salesman and was very experienced, straightforward and honest. He inspired confidence and worked effectively with me to negotiate a mutually acceptable deal. I recommend Michael and Hamby without reservation. All in all, absolutely nothing to complain about and my opinion of Hamby is that they are a first class organization.

My husband and I have been pricing, researching, and test driving different vehicles for about a year. We found the one we fully agreed upon at Hamby Automotive in Perry, Georgia. Now the biggest challenge was about to begin, but WAIT!!! There was no challenge, because we were blessed to be dealing with Hamby! From our wonderful salesman, Mr. Willie, to an incredibly knowledgeable and helpful Mr. Boris, we KNOW we received a great price and perfect trade allowance. Hamby Automotive made our dream of getting the perfect 2014 Buick Enclave for us come true, and we can't thank them enough for making this buying experience a very, very pleasant one. My husband and I recently visited the lot to test drive a Traverse, I would be trading in my Traverse to get a newer model. We were approached in the parking lot and able to test drive the SUV. Once we returned to the lot my husband and I decided we would not be purchasing the newer SUV due to a few things we were not pleased with on the new one. The sales man talked with his manager and informed us he would be able to make us happy by fixing the items that were not acceptable. I was already preapproved from the bank, but the guy in the financial department promised us he could get our rate down at least 3 points. He did exactly what he promised! They fixed everything that was wrong with the car! Our experience at Hamby in Perry was by far the best and will use them for any other purchases!!! I AM VERY PLEASED WITH THIS DEALERSHIP!! I DEFINITELY RECOMMEND YALL!!

I had been looking for a truck for a few months and every time I found a good deal anywhere, I would go to the dealer and they would have "just sold" the truck I wanted to see. I saw a good deal on a truck in the paper for Hamby Chevrolet, so I looked at it online to find out some more about it. At the bottom of the write up it said to contact Jeff Frazier, so the next day I called him about the truck and he said they still had it. The whole way there I was saying to myself, "Here we go again, they are going to have just sold when I get there and I'm going to leave another car dealer mad." When I got there, Jeff was very nice and had already pulled the truck for me and had it ready for me to look at and test drive. I had a few questions for him and he knew some of them, but what I liked the most was the ones he didn't know because he didn't make an answer up he told me that he wasn't sure and he would find out for me. To me, that was the best quality of this experience I have been lied to many times at car dealers and it is very frustrating. We sat down and talked numbers and everyone i dealt with was very nice and pleasant to deal with. Overall, it was a very easy and pleasant buying experience. I would highly recommend anyone looking for a vehicle to go and check out Hamby Chevrolet and talk to Jeff Frazier.

Was looking for a new or pre owned Ats, came across the right one at the right dealership. Called on a Saturday talked to Borris, he gave me his best price called back on Monday to get a purchase order to send to my credit union, car was funded next day and delivered 2 days later. Hamby did not play games like the other dealers and took very good care of me even though I was 500 miles away. Thank you Borris!!! Your lost Auto Nation West Palm Beach who sales man took my info to look for a car for me but never called back.

While looking for a used Buick Enclave on the internet found one at Hamby Automotive in Perry,Ga, which is about 40 miles from home. went to look at the car and was promptly greeted by a very pleasant young man with a big smile. After driving the car we were introduced to the sales manager who drove our trade in. I wasnt thrilled about the first offer so we didnt buy that day, The following work day I was called by Jay the salesman for an offer from me. Negotiating the final price was a good experience. We were then transfered to the finance director who worked very hard to satisfy our needs. Everyone we met there was friendly and professional.Great buying experience, will definetly use them again. Thanks guys. You rock!! P.S. Love the car!

Great, knowledgeable sales and closing staff. Had my financing in place and was definitely driving home in a new Avalanche that day. Hamby was the fourth dealer visited and was willing to take the extra steps to make the deal. Kudos to Willie, Boris, and Bruce! (But still waiting for that bottle of Imperial to arrive at my door.)

Each time I visit to buy from Hamby, I am treated professionally. I have purchased six vehicles from them over the past six years and feel like each deal was to my benefit (I'm sure it was theirs too). Anyway, they make you feel like they care about you as a person and a customer too.The few times I have needed service, the repairs were done quickly, one time there was a two day wait for parts, but they gave me a car to drive over the weekend so it was all good.I recommend them for sales or service or just a visit.

In the past i bought cars from a few local dealers and every time there was some nonsense we had to deal with,which never been pleasant.Last few years me and my family tried to avoid car dealers and bought from individuals.We travel up and down I-75 couple times a week and always been impressed with Hamby automotive vehicle selections and they way they are displayed,but never had a chance to shop there.Few month ago my wife start looking for a late model GMC Denali.As every women,she is pretty picky and refuse to compromise.After stoping at several car lots,she start calling about advertised online vehicles.One of the 2011 GMC Denali's she found was at Hamby's lot,but it did not have all the options we wanted.We received a phone call the same evening from sales manager at Hamby automotive,thanking us for opportunity and offering to find us a vehicle with options we wanted.Desperate after all wasted time and efforts to find the vehicle on our own we agreed.It was the best possible decision we could made!Within 48 hours we got an email with full description of the vehicle,car history report from Carfax and several pictures.After working out details over the phone and emails,we reached a mutual agreement,with full understanding that we will have to see and test drive the vehicle before signing the paperwork.It took 6 days from original phone call,and we went to Perry to pick up our Denali.It was perfect and my wife love it.Originally we arrange all the financing through local bank,but were offered better rate by finance manager,and financed the car at the dealership.It was our best car buying experience ever and i would never consider any other car dealers.

Been shopping for a week for a used Z71 crew cab.Found few trucks at several local dealerships with comparable prices,but choose truck at Hamby's,simply because the way they conduct business.Very professional,straight forward and no games.

My expierience with Hamby Chevrolet was nothing but exceptional. I had great customer service from the salesman to the finance manager to just the employees passing by. I would highly recommend this dealership to anyone.

Have purchased many auto's from Hamby. Both Dad and Son over the years have taken care of my family and friends. All auto's bought were under other dealer prices. Repairs quick and never had to return. Treated well on all contacts.I rate a 10 and my ratings are tuff.Greg & Paula Lavigne

I brought my vehicle in for work covered under an extended warranty that the dealer sells. The work was fairly extensive and included the fuel pump (requires removal of the rear axle), rear main seal (removal of the transmission), oil pan gasket (requires lifting the motor off of the mounts) and replacement of low frequency horn. The adjuster confirmed the items to be replaced the next business day (friday) and parts were in hand on saturday. The work required a total of 17 hours of labor and should have taken no more than 2-3 business days starting on monday. I was told conflicting stories by terri as to what items are covered under warranty as well as downright dishonest diagnoses on the part of the mechanic and adjuster. I contacted the warranty company anticipating a fight...they told me that the dealer was incorrect about part of the fuel system diagnostic as well as proper billing. It took three phone calls to the warranty company to set terri right. I picked up my vehicle after 7 days and drove it home. The horn didn't work right but everything else seemed fine. I contacted terri regarding the horn issue and she assured me that the diagnosis and replacement were done correctly. After one week I noticed engine oil puddles on my driveway. I placed the vehicle on ramps and inspected the undercarriage and discovered two of the three bell housing inspection covers were missing and oil leaking from the rear main seal area. I decided to inspect the horn install and discovered that they did indeed replace the broken low note horn...with a high note horn.(that explains the odd sound). I spoke to Don (service mgr) regarding these problems and he has promised to resolve them to my satisfaction. I checked my vehicle in with Becky today (very professional and courteous)and was told to expect my vehicle back by thursday (two days) for a 5 hour repair.
