It rained the day of my service and when I entered the waiting room they told me from now on to park in the separate covered area to be out of the rain. I forgot my coffee in the car and the gentleman went out and got it for me rather than have me go out in the rain.Friendly and courteous service and go out of their way

With the service specials on Dexos oil. Hawkins does the job of oil change and tire rotation quickly and at a price that a handy home mechanic would spend on supplies anyway. Add the great service of drop off rides to a local Danville office, I finish my job while they service my vehicle. I will be back.

The staff is always professional yet personable. Also, they are able to answer and explain mechanical questions in detail without being too car-talk "technical." On occasion I have stopped in with what I perceived to be an emergency issue, and they have taken care of my concern, which usually turned out to be minor, or nothing to worry about. If I need parts that require additional cost, I am always asked ahead of time before I receive a "sticker shock" bill. All in all, the quality of their service is A+.

The service manager conducted himself in a professional manner. The new enclosed area where we dropped the truck off was convenient and the lounge area was comfortable. They took us to our hospital appointment and picked us up when we were done so we could get our truck.

After a hospital appointment, driving by Hawkins Chevrolet dealership, I decided to look at the 2016 Chevrolet Equinox. Loved my 2011 Equinox!! Maybe trade it?! Chose the car I liked, drove it, bought it. Salesman was professional, courteous, and helpful. Other personnel l met were friendly and helpful also. My experience visiting the Hawkins dealership was awesome.

I had not been to the new building until Tuesday afternoon. I could drive right in under shelter which was really nice. If it had been bad weather, I could get out of my truck and go to the waiting area and not have to be exposed to rain, snow, or whatever. The facilities in the waiting area were great, also.Service was prompt and they were able to take care of an extra item I had been thinking about doing as it was in stock.

I bought my Cruz at another dealership (big mistake). When the other dealership could not fix what was going wrong with our car we switched to Hawkins. This was the second time that we had to have work done on the car. It was making a funny noise in the transmission area. We called Hawkins explained the noise and Corey told us to bring it right up. While theyou had our car they allowed us to drive a 2015 Chevy Silverado extended cab 1500 series. Needless to say I LOVED the truck and two weeks later we had a brand new transmission. The car is running as good as the day we bought it again and I can not express how great full we were to Hawkins and Corey for the use of the truck. I know what vehicle I am getting next.

Our salesperson Alex was extremely helpful and knowledgeable without being pushy, something I absolutely dislike when I'm shopping. He made the experience easy and worked with us to take ownership in a short time period since we were leaving on vacation. I purchased this vehicle on 6/515 with the help of Tom Ivey (salesperson), who in my opinion went up and beyond his job to make sure I was fitted into the right vehicle. I was torn between two vehicles and he had text messaged pictures to my cell phone per my request to show my wife who was unable to travel at that time to look at the vehicle. I took my Equinox in for an oil change. I was greeted at my car by Jim Strausser. I handed my keys to him and he said go to the lounge and help yourself to coffee while your wait. I was treated perfectly. My car was done within an hour and I was on my way.

My wife and I were looking to trade on a new Equinox, and ended up driving a new 2015 Silverado Crew Cab 4x4 home the next day. Hawkins called me..to schedule a recall check. Since I needed an inspection I did both at the same time, no problem. Staff are pleasant, friendly and professional. A brand new service facility is great! Much larger and comfortable than the older facility.

Our experience at Hawkins Chevrolet was, as always, excellent. The Sales Staff are helpful, courteous, and efficient. We have been dealing with Hawkins Chevrolet for many years. Ever since we went to Hawkins approximately 15 years ago, we have continued to purchased all of our vehicles from Hawkins, and we take them back there for all our service. Set up an appointment to purchase a car from Hawkins, confirmed the appointment the night before only to arrive and be told the car was sent to auction. No phone call or email to cancel the appointment, in fact just the opposite, they confirmed it. To top it off the sales gal I had the appointment with, after I tracked her down, was playing games on her cell phone. When I contacted Josh Hawkins he did nothing other than to pass my complaint onto a sales guy who called me to say they were sorry. Sorry doesn't pay for a lost day of work and the time and mileage I spent to make a special trip to purchase this vehicle. No work ethics, no morals or common sense and decency in any of this transaction!

My truck had its serpentine belt brake on my way to work. It just so happens that Hawkins is on my way so I pulled in and talked to the garage about what happened. They said to leave it there they would get it in and get it fixed. They were able to fix it the same day but when I picked up the next morning and started down the road the truck over heated right away. I turned around and went right back to the garage. They came out and looked at what was going on and saw that the belt was not put on properly and had slipped part way off. They took the truck in that day and put the belt on correctly and I was able to take the truck home that night. However the truck continued to overheat and I called the garage to talk to them about what was going on. They asked me to bring it back in because something else might have been damaged when the belt broke. This time the found that the radiator was split on the return side and needed replaced. The ordered the parts and by the next day I was back in my truck and everything seems normal so far. The garage staff was very patient, understanding, and helpful as we worked through this series of issues. Thanks for keeping my truck running.

I went to Hawkins with a bit of reservation to get minor services done on my Subaru out of Necessity and convenience (they were right next door to my destination). They performed all of the work that I needed done and were done on time. No complaints from this customer.

I bought my trailbazer over 10 years ago. I still love it and have had on routine service done but Josh always gets me in even at the last minute. Hawkins is a family owned dealers ship and you can always talk directly with one of the family members.

I would completely avoid Hawkings Chevrolet.I purchased a 2007 used car with 44,0000 miles on it. I have only put 4000 miles on it because i dont drive very often. Within 6 month of my purchase I needed a new fuel pump and new breaks. Not what i expected from a used car that underwent a 27 point inspection.The service department is even worse. If you know nothing about cars, you most likely know more than the Hawkings service team. The power on my car would stop while driving. When i pulled over, the car would start back up like everything was fine. When i had my car serviced and mentioned this problem, they said they would check it out. They said everything was fine. The very next time i was driving after being serviced the power cut out and the car would not start back up. I was stranded on a dark two lane highway.Needless to say, i am completely unsatisfied with the car i bought and the service, or lack thereof, that they have provided.
