I was in and out before i could complete my coffee in the waiting room. The place was clean and the service was great. I love the theater room perhaps I see more of it in the future. The location is right off the main interstate and easy to find.

The trading in process at Heritage was really simple. The customer service was outstanding! I went in because my check engine light was on and I was able to upgrade from a 2012 to a 2017 Passat. I'm very pleased with all of the staff.

After walking the lot I was met by Destiny. Greeted friendly and professionally (also with a cup of water as it was warm out). I told her what SUVs I was interested in, why and price range. We went inside and she searched her affiliated dealers. She also took me outside to a potential trade in. While my time was short, I could tell she was interested in gaining my business but not in the typical car dealer world. I felt no pressure, actually enjoyed talking with her as a person and salesperson and have the feeling she will follow up. Great salesperson and appealing dealership.

I've never received anything but wonderful treatment by the service department, sales staff and customer service people. And the fact that they do the rentals, the movie theater, the Internet kiosk and the TV room with plenty of refreshments, water and access to clean facilities if you need them just tops off the visit. The time goes by faster when they always have things for you to do. It makes for a home-y environment and even IF there is a long wait, it's a pleasant visit. By the way, I've never had to wait for any extraordinarily long times regardless. I had a couple of commitments that were not honored that I ended up paying for myself, but overall, it was a nice slight that I was willing to overlook, though some people would not have. Thanks, Heritage VW!

I bought my VW from this dealership and have been getting it serviced here exclusively. I have worked with several different service managers but now request Bradley Kerr. He courteous, knowledgeable, and friendly. He is the ultimate professional. I recently needed repairs beyond the normal service. Not only was he willing to check to see if the part was under warranty (it was) but he also found a way to cover all the extra fees; making a $1400 service cost nothing. He really cares about the customer and builds a good rapport with each one. VW needs more service managers like Bradley!

Rufus made the experience worthwhile and I am very satisfied with my purchase. Only drawback was the amount of time spent at the dealership. Spent just over five hours with finance and negotiating numbers. I communicated the boundaries of my allotted finances and was told "this number is absolutely work-able" yet everything continued to go back and forth repeatedly. Again Rufus was fantastic throughout and would recommend him and the dealership to acquaintances.

Both he and our sales rep John Abney were equally wonderful and courteous. I just purchased my first vehicle and it was literally the most non stressful, exciting process ever. I absolutely love the staff there, they really want you to leave happy. My sales person was Janet Turner and she is amazing, she decorated my car with Happy Birthday banners and balloons. Any questions that we had about the car Dionte was very knowledgeable. Dionte introduced us to members of the service department and gave us a tour of the facility. I came in because they would always ask me if they could buy my car. This time I gave it a shot and went in just to see what they were going to offer. I test drove three Cars and the one I really wanted was well out of my price range, however the team at heritage VW helped me find one that was in my price range with comfortable payment options. My mom and stepdad were with me to help negotiate and get everything situation that I wouldn't have been able to on my own. I have purchased four Volkswagens from this dealership thus far, my lease was coming close to an end, and I received a letter from the dealership asking if I wanted an upgrade. I called the dealership, talked to John a Salesman, he was very friendly, and stated he would see what my options were for trade in. I arrived unannounced, and John was on a test drive, but Janet stepped right up, and took a seamless approach as my salesperson. Within an hour, I was leaving the dealership, with my new 2016 Volkswagen Passat. With free car washes and oil changes for life, you really can't go wrong, Todd in finance, was fantastic as usual, as I have used his services four times prior to this one. My visit with Heritage Volkswagen of South Atlanta was above standard. First of all, 2 days after I made an appointment for the 40,000 mile service, I received 2 calls prior to the actual appointment. These calls were to welcome me and to thank me for using their dealership for the service and also to confirm my appointment date and time. I've been to another dealership (On the far North Side of Town) that didn't call to confirm at all. I won't name that dealership on the north side, but I will say that I will continue to get my car serviced at Heritage Volkswagen of South Atlanta from now on. My service advisor's name is Bryant Hall. Mr. Hall was very professional from the moment I walked in the building. Plus I had a pleasant experience while getting my car serviced. It only took 2 1/2 hours to service my car. The other VW dealership would definately have taken longer to do the same job (at least 3 1/2). Also the cost was cheaper at Heritage Volkswagen compared to the other dealership. Yes, I saved money by going to Heritage Volkswagen of South Atlanta as opposed to the other dealership and I bought my car at the other dealership. It should have been cheaper at the other dealership, but it wasn't. It got a less expensive, faster and much over all better service experience at Heritage Volkswagen of South Atlanta. And NO, they aren't paying me or compensating me for this review. I just think that people should be complemented when they do an exceptional job or even a good job. As long as the customer is satisfied then that's what count. Well, I'm very satisfied. To sum it up, I'm very satisfied with this location and highly recommend Heritage Volkswagen of South Atlanta to any VW owner who needs their car serviced by a reputable dealership. They get it. They do the job right the FIRST time and don't price gouge you. With that said, I'm giving Heritage Volkswagen of South Atlanta a 5 star rating for my customer experience. The cashiers were even on point. This dealership is a well oiled machine and I honestly appreciate Bryant Hall for being the type of service represantative that EVERY dealership should have. 2 thumbs up Mr. Hall. THANK YOU SIR!!!

Todd and Rufus were excellent. They were extremely respectful to my grandmother. They catered to our beverage needs. They went beyond the call of duty to service our time constraints. The manager Todd's boss lent me his personal vehicle while LoJack was installed. Compared to Hennessy and other competitors, Rufus and Todd brought an air of transparency and customer care to the negotiation table. I will definitely be back, and hope to find Rufus and Todd where they deserve to be, selling new cars to uppity white folks.

I came in to see what it would cost to repair my wiper blade motor. Was never informed of a $105 diagnostic charge. Haven't seen this bull in years. They are flat out misleading and lie to your face. If never recommend going here for service or a car as Volkswagens are pieces of junk anyhow.

I purchased a used 2005 Touareg in 2009, and since Heritage was the closest VW dealer within 50 miles, I took it there have it gone over. First visit went good.Then, I took it in for a scheduled service and some minor repairs. When I left, I realized that none the repairs had been done. I turned around, went back, and was met with a chuckle when I told them that the repairs weren't done. I waited as they completed them.later, I took it in because the right side mirror heater wasn't working. They called and told me that it was the control switch, and the repair was $260. I approved it, and when I went to pick it up. I left with the car only to get a few miles down the road to find out that the mirror still wasn't working. Once again, turned around, went back, and told them it didn't work. A technician comes out and says that it's the heating element on the mirror. He gets one from parts, puts it on, and it worked. The service writer had the nerve to try and bill me the $90 for the mirror. I told him that he charged me $260 for a part I didn't need, and wanted me to pay for the mirror too. I insisted on a refund for the switch, but they refused, but the "gave" me the mirror.Went in for a oil change. Got home and smelled burning oil, so I raised the hood to find that they had broken the dipstick. I called and they said they would mail me a new one. After two weeks of no dipstick, and being sent to voicemail when I called, I drove to the dealership and bought it myself.Final straw. The car stopped running suddenly. I read up online that it sounded like the fuel pump. So, I but the one said to be most likely to fail, (most VW's have two), at $670. Still didn't run. Broke down and towed it to Heritage. The dealership could not find the problem! They "believed" it was the other pump, but no guarantees. Out of patience, I approved the repair. Another $670. It didn't fix it, so they wanted to "fish" around for the fix on my dime. I took it to a local import shop instead. Turned out to be a cracked filter housing. $340.I will never go to Heritage again!!! Not even for a keychain.

After searching for months for a vehicle I came across Heritage Volkswagen and inquired about a car I was interested in. That's when Dionte Shaw gave me some info about the car and set up an appointment. Next day we met he was very welcoming and made me feel more than just a regular customer trying to buy a car. Dionte was very knowledgeable about the car and knew every answer for every question I had for him. He showed every part of the car interior and exterior and explained in DETAIL the features the car included and taught me how to operate them. Overall I ended up purchasing the car it took me a few days to make my decision only because I was unsure and didn't want to make a mistake. But after going to other dealerships and receiving "crappy" service I went back to Heritage and finalized everything and was on my way!!! So thanks to Heritage and to Dionte Shaw for the wonderful experience.

First of all I would like to thank the sales team especially Austin for helping me out in finalizing the car and finance, that too on a Friday night until 11.40 PM. That showed their inclination towards customer satisfaction. Had a good deal at the end of the day !!!Paperwork was all easy peasy. Well taken care of by the finance team. On my delivery day, Dionte was calm and friendly and took care of all the things on my behalf for a smooth ride out. He is supporting me even now in my post deal queries and settlements. My service tech kept me informed and explained all the processes to me. Although the issues were minor they serviced the car. The waiting area is fabulous, watch a movie, work on your computer, have a drink - beautiful place. I like being able to make my service appointments on line or via the phone and they always take my car right away. A very clean place with great coffee.

I left my name and contact information for someone to call me back. Sales representative Silvia Ani called me back within 15 minutes. I scheduled a test drive appointment with her first. Silvia exhibited a very kind, warm, patient, personable yet professional demeanor. My test drive was a no pressure experience with Silvia. She was very knowledgeable about the Volkswagen cars, and the various financing programs that the dealership offers. I really liked the fact that Silvia cared about helping me get the car with the features that I wanted within my budget. She did a lot of work in finding me the car that I wanted at the price I could afford with the features that I wanted. She did not give up. Finally, she found the car that I was happy with and we negotiated a good price for the car. My car shopping experience with Heritage Volkswagen of South Atlanta was the best car shopping experience I have ever had. And this was the best dealership that I have ever visited for a car. It's a beautiful looking dealership on the inside as well. I truly like the follow-up care that this dealership provides after you purchase a vehicle. (Free oil changes and free car washes for as long as you have the car). You can't beat that!!! Also, sales representative Shaun Haynes was very knowledgeable about the operation of the Volkswagen cars. He was very patient and took the time to show me how to operate everything on my Volkswagen Jetta. He even programmed my cell phone directory into the Bluetooth. Oh, I love it !!! I love my car!!! If you want a Volkswagen car, I highly recommend going to Heritage Volkswagen of South Atlanta location. This is the Volkswagen dealership to go to for your car shopping needs.

I have never driven into the Service Bay w/o a smiling face greeting me and asking what they can do for me. I can then be assured a service agent will be right along to take care of my request and offer a free car wash. Upon completion of the work the agent is always on hand to advise just what took place and see if I have any questions. The preceeding takes place every time I visit this dealership. It is a delight to receive this level of service after that of GMC.

My new "baby" needed to go in for 'Her' Protective Coating & Interior Protection, but between my constant pain & up coming trip to the West Coast to care for my Mother-in-law, I was unable to get it in very quickly (which it needed to do). My AWESOME Salesmen; Robert & Amr (Who Also Happens to be The Store Mngr!), did the Best Deal I've Ever Seen in My Life, For Me(!!), then to top it off, Robert Himself Comes All The Way To My Home & Picks Up My Car For Me!! I don't think I've ever been taken care of soo WELL!! When 'She' was done, I was already out-of-town, & Again, Robert Personally Drove My "Baby" Home for Me!! We bought our first VW in 2002, (going from a full-size Conversion Van w/TV's, Nintendo, all leather seats, w/Maple in-lay wood, to a Diesel BUG!!) We Were Never Soo Happy In All Our Lives!! When our young daughter was Growing-Up, & she asked for more room (we had moved across country by now, to GA.), we went to our local VW dealership, & moved-up to a TDI (Diesel) Jetta, & have been buying TDI JETTA'S ever since!! I REEAALLY love my 2015 TDI JETTA!! I always say this will be the car I'll keep forever.... But, somehow, they Always find us, when we come in for service, after we've been sorta tossing around the idea of,"I wonder what the New Model's are like", or, "I wonder how much we could get for your car?"... See, we both drive a TDI JETTA!! Of course, I got the new one! Hubby got my 2010 that has been pampered & spoiled w/21,000 miles on it. SSSSHHHHH!!!! Don't let Amr know!! He'll REALLY WANT THAT ONE!!!

My husband and I were down to one operating vehicle after our van's engine blew up! We were at our wits end because we definitely needed to have 2 vehicles since I work so far away from home and our children's schools were near our home, and my husband works closer to home...you know in case of emergency, he'd be able to get to the kids faster... Long story short, we went in to Heritage with financial and credit score issues, but the staff (Robert Sheddrick, Quinton Pratt and Todd Towns) did not "turn away" from us, instead they worked diligently to get us into a vehicle.... 1 day later we drove off the lot in a 2015 Volkswagen Jetta!! The first brand new vehicle me and my husband has ever had!.... We are sooooo thankful and grateful to the folks at Heritage!!!!

Due to my time constraints for work I originally began my search with usaa. They submitted requests to a few dealers for me. Heritage was the first to respond, and right from the start they bent over backwards to find me a vehicle to match my specifications plus split hairs to get me financed within only a few hours. Everyone involved made me feel like i was more family than customer. I did not feel forced or pushed into a sale at any point, which is awesome considering most dealerships are pushy, irritating and rude. I drive over 2 hours to get there and it was well worth it. I had a wonderful experience with Silvija Ani over the weekend buying my wonderful used VW CC. She really knew the car and Volkwagen as a brand. This was my second test drive of a CC one at a different dealer, and Silviji knew WAY more the car. She had the car waiting for me as a arrived an hour before closing. There was not much room for negotiation on a used car, but I feel like compared to other dealers the pricing was really good on the car. I really enjoyed the test drive and the car eventually sold itself. I will say they don't haggle you too much but there is the typical finance person trying to get me to finance when I already had been approved from a outside lender but that was expected. He had a great personality and was very informative on their warranties and the numbers, but I was not interested. Make sure you pay attention to what your signing not just the "car note".Overall, I enjoyed by experience and moving forward I hope I have the same when its time for service.

Corey Haynes was a true professional. It was easy to see how he believes in what he sells and how much passion he has for his job. We purchased our vehicle within several hours of Corey showing us a variety of models. I would highly recommend Heritage Volkswagen of South Atlanta. The only bad taste I had was what seemed like a bit of high pressure sales/scare tactics to purchase extended warranties during the financial closing. I had to actually cut the representative short and explain that I had my wife and three young children waiting for me and didn't really have an extra 30-45 minutes to listen to the entire sales presentation. I didn't care for the way the representative showed me a VW part, took the time to explain how it was his bank, dump the pennies out and then commence to use scare tactics to tell me how expensive it is to repair that particular part if I didn't purchase an extended warranty/service plan. This tactic uses fear as a sales tool and I don't care for this line of thinking. I didn't find this tactic to be in line with my otherwise fabulous experience at Heritage VW of South Atlanta but am willing to overlook this bad memory because all other aspects of the sales process were superb and Corey was amazingly courteous and professional. Thanks again, Corey!

I found my 2009 Toyota Sienna van at Heritage's website. I visited the dealership and did a test drive. Once I decided to purchase the van, Matt helped us through each step. He was a great salesman. It was a relatively easy process from start to finish. . They take pride in their products, too. The 2009 I bought looked brand new, it was so clean! A note to used car buyers: Heritage VW now employs "haggle-free" used car pricing. This is just another way of saying that their prices are non-negotiable, a la CarMax. I'm not sure when they began doing business this way. My wife and I bought a used vehicle from them a few years ago, and we were pleased with the deal we were able to negotiate. Their used vehicle prices seem to be comparable to those of other dealers. However, you can negotiate with other dealers for a more reasonable price, while at Heritage you cannot. So, if you enjoy paying $2000-$3000 more than the trade-in value for a vehicle, then I encourage you to shop at Heritage Volkswagen. Or CarMax.

I paid my first visit to Heritage and Corey greeted me. We test drove and ran some numbers. After realizing the used Beetles were not in my price range, I left for another dealership. After wasting an entire day and the other dealership making me very upset, I called Corey. He immediately told me to come back and we would figure it out without a problem. I was leery. I knew that it would practically be impossible. The next morning, we arrived back at heritage. Everyone is SUPER nice. You aren't just working with one person, it is the entire sales force. A few hours later, we drove off in a brand new Beetle!! I am so happy! What a great environment to buy a car and work with very nice people. Thank you Heritage!! I will see you in a few years!!

Coolant warning light went on and needed to be topped off. Because I wanted to make sure I got the correct coolant recommended by Volkswagen, I wanted the dealership to do it. We left the car at the Parking Spot since we were going out-of-town. When we returned, coolant light was out and detailed work order was in the car with no charge! The coolant chamber was drained and refilled. Thank you so much!!!

This is the absolute WORST customer service experience I've ever had. I originally came on line and wrote a gleaming customer service report after I purchased my vehicle. I actually had a very pleasant experience pre recall... yes prerecall. I had my car three days with 200 miles on it when it cut off, fully engaged on the highway. My issue isn't with the fact that the car left me on the side of the road, ALL manufactures have recall's. My issue is how I was handled afterwords by staff and VW as a whole. To now know, I never even had an enforceable contract and their decision to hide that fact instead of being transparent and saying they made a mistake is incomprehensible. The arranged a collateral swap that could never be executed because they failed to remit a signed contract.To write the experience would be a book, I'm not going to do that, however I will say, the true mark of great customer service is how you handle a client/ customer when there is a problem. I was mishandeled! I will never make another purchase from Heritage, nor would I refer anyone.

I have driven a 2008, 2011, and now 2014 Jetta that is my favorite of the 3 purchased, with all thanks to Tim for his excellent assistance, attentiveness, and making me feel like I was a VIP customer. My wife is driving a 2012 Tiguan also purchased from Tim and definitely plans to trade it in with him in 2015, while our youngest daughter is doing so with her 2011 Jetta in the next 6 months. The staff can get very busy but each service staff member always take the time to be courteous and recognizes each customer. That can be a very hard task to pull off at times but they have never failed to be pleasant. I would like to say thank you for doing that. As for the new facility, love it! It's always clean and comfortable. Having access to coffee, donuts and fruit while waiting is great but the theatre room tops all of those things because it is amazing!!!

Heritage VW had the best price on the internet period. I drove 700 miles for this purchase and would do it again without hesitation. I appreciate how they include dealer fees into advertised internet pricing. Most dealers would only disclose that after you agreed on price and then add it on. Special thanks to sales people Silvija and Nicole. They were very professional and understanding of all my concerns and even picked me up from the airport! I never feel pressured to do anything unnecessary to my cars. He always calls me back promptly and is so helpful. Recently he kept me from having to have my car towed by listening to the sound over the phone and telling us that it was a battery dieing. I own a 2009 Jetta that I have had serviced solely at Heritage VW in Union City. Brad Cody and the guys in the service department have ALWAYS taken superb care of me and my car. Maintenance prices have been much more reasonable than I originally expected when I purchased the car... especially since it's a diesel. I have bought new Audis, BMWs, and Mercedes for over 25 years. We bought a 2013 Beetle convertible from Silvia at Heritage. She was incredible. We ordered the car - she kept us informed all along the way, got a great deal, and she has followed up again and again to make sure we are enjoying our car. Brad in the service department is efficient, fair, and accommodating. The facilities are the best I have ever seen. This is the best dealer the German car manufacturers have to offer. The big ones in Atlanta cannot hold a torch to this dealer. The people make the difference, and these are the best. There is nothing about the experience that I could suggest they change. If you want a car, I highly suggest you ask for Silvia and insist on Brad for your service advisor.

Silva is very nice person I have met. She is so sweet and helped me deliver the car. Actually I was shopping for a car more than 4 years and finally she helped me to find a beetle with my favorite color. The price is not bad, even I though it should at least go down for $500-$1000, When I negotiate the price, the manager played a trick on me with warranty, he agreed with my price but change the deductible from $100 to $500 without notice me. That makes me feel bad, but, anyway, the 2006 blue beetle is very good and Silva is very nice, I still love to buy it. she helped me to find the windscreen for the used car. I haven't go to do the free oil change but I assume the service should be good.

I had the WORST experience at your dealership on Saturday...My Husband and I came in to look at 2 cars (granted we both had just got off work) I own a very successful business in Suwanee and he drives trucks...But we were tired but PREPARED to purchase two cars. One for my business and the other a personal vehicle. We were on the car lot for about 15 minutes before going in...We had to ask for assistance and when we finally got someone it was your salesman "Eric or Erin" a younger guy. We ask him for prices on 2 cars on the used side One was a BMW and the other the convertible Beetle...He started texting someone before he even attempted to look for the pricing then when he did he said the Volkswagen wasn't in inventory so nonchalantly said "I HAVENT A CLUE" and didn't try to even find out. It was the guy sitting beside him that told us. We were getting agitated but still ask to look at both cars. We went outside and when he came out about 5 minutes later he drove around in a older Honda Accord and said he had just got that in on trade and we should be looking at that and it was just $6500...WE WERE FLOORED!!!! We didn't ask anything about this car but he made up in his mind that thats what we need. Needless to say my husband was MAD as *** by then....he ask the guy what makes him think we want that car and pay that for that overpriced car...he went in to say he would get his manager to find out how much they paid for the car BUT instead came out with another sales guy who said could be helping us from there on out...HE WAS CLEARLY Racial profiling us and didn't want to be bothered....I WOULD NEVER recommend your dealership to anyone and has told everyone and will continue to do so about the AWFUL experience we had there!!! You guys need to reevaluate who you have working for you as you never know who will walk through the door!!!

Several months ago, I decided to shop for a new car. I visited several dealerships and spent hours on the Internet. When I walked into Heritage, I was met by Dre David. We chatted for a few minutes and I outlined my plan. I told him I was looking at several different brands and ordered if my wife and I could test drive a Jetta Sport Wagon. Dre took a few minutes to show me the car and off I went. When we returned, we asked to drive the Toureg as a comparison. No problem. Dre grabbed another set of keys. We test drove several models this way. We went to several other dealerships and this made me realize how much I liked Heritage. At one particular dealership, the salesman never left me alone. I felt like he was ready to move in, constantly saying " shal we talk numbers?" I was even called three times when I got home.I narrowed my search to two equally acceptable cars. But what made me pick the Volkswagen was Dre. I really liked the way he treated my wife and I during our visit. We were free to test drive the car, speak freely between ourselves and when we returned ten minutes later, Dre was there to answer our questions about the car. This was the car buying experience I was seeking. Ron made he financing paperwork easy. I am happy with my purchase and would recommend Heritage to anyone looking to buy a car.

My husband and I came into the dealership and Mr. Quinton Pratt was the sales person who assisted us. I had a particular style of VW in mind and Mr. Pratt was extremely knowledgeable about the brand, very professional and very accommodating. We spent a few hours with him which the time flew by. We were very impressed with the dealership and the employees and would highly recommend others to also purchase a VW. I am loving my new VW Jetta!!!

I am not usually a person that reviews businesses but I have had all I can take. My sales experience was fantastic, Tim worked with me to find exactly the car I was looking to purchase. Thank you Tim!From the point of purchase to my current situation is a giant used car customer service cliche. During the purchase process I was lured in by the super warranty program. After I went home and read reviews and details of the warranty program I decided to cancel. I read through the paperwork regarding the warranty....I have the option to cancel...no big deal.I called Ron Douglas to cancel the day after my purchase. A week went by and I didn't hear from him so I called again. No return phone call. I called again. I left Ron Douglas 4 voice mails over 4 weeks. No return call.So then I left early from work to go to the dealership before 5pm hoping to resolve the issue. No Ron Douglas. No one else could help me. So then I went to the dealership on a Saturday and Todd was gracious and helped me out. 6 weeks went by and I never received a cancellation notice.I left Ron Douglas 2 more voice mails. He finally calls me back (It's a MIRACLE!) and tells me he has no record that I cancelled the warranty. Awesome. Since that call It's been over a month and I still have received a cancellation notice.I purchased the car at the beginning of September. I have been trying to cancel the #at$%& warranty since the day after I purchased the car. It has been 4 MONTHS and the issue isn't resolved.Guess what??? This month I have left 2 voice mails. I still can't get Ron Douglas to return my call and I'm still paying for the warranty I'm trying to cancel.

I came in to get my car serviced and while I was waiting I asked Dre David to tell me about the GTI that was in the show room. He was not only Knowledgeable but he had great customer service Skills. Kevin in the service department did really well with me as well. I ended up buying a new car because of the knowledge that Dre had and the offer that I was given I couldn't pass it up. Summited a request to contact me about a VW R32. Got a call from them and the guy was very nice and easy to deal with. I was not able to make it to tge dealership to see it so he told me he would send better pictures, and a video of it while it os running. Never got pictures or video or any other response from him. I sent him an email asking for the informatiin and all i got was spam from him. He would not return my email answer the questions i asked. All i got was when would you like to come and look at it. Got so much spam asking that i just added him to the spam blocker and unsubscribe from their company. I will never go through them to buy anything. I gave them a 1 for at least for the inital phone call.

I am currently overseas in the Middle East. I have been looking for a VW R32 for quite a long time now. I found one on Heritage VWs website that was perfect. At first, dealing with Robert McNeil, the experience was better than I have dealt with any car dealer. Robert was extremely helpful and even provided a cell phone number because of my situation with being overseas. I wanted to have the car shipped to my house in Florida and received by my parents and Robert arranged it. Once it went to the finance department, I had to deal with Ron Douglas, at first he was good, he took the loan paperwork that was signed by my parents with a PoA and he took my down payment of $2400 over the phone and said everything was good and that the car was mine. A couple days later I called to find out when the car would be delivered, a woman by the name of Chrissy said the car was scheduled to be delivered that afternoon actually. I was thrilled. Then, the next day Ron Douglas said that the bank wouldnt take the loan paperwork because they dont accept Powers of Attorney and that he would call back to let me know what options were available. I never received a phone call and had to call about 6 times over three days til finally I was pawned off to Todd Towns(Sales Manager). Again, at first, he was very helpful and understanding and said how he was a Marine and new my situation and would go out of his way to help. He got the paperwork resent so that it could be forwarded to me downrange to sign. I got the paperwork back to him and couldnt get ahold of him after that. I called 11 times in a week and left messages to have him email me or call my parents and he never did. We asked him to us some kind of notice when the vehicle would be shipped and he said no problem. Well, after not being able to get a hold of Mr. Towns for a week, we get a phone on a Saturday afternoon on Memorial Day weekend from the shipping company that says, "Hey, we're here to deliver your car".(NO NOTICE) On top of that, the car battery was dead and had to push start to get it down the drive way, and there was absolutely no gas in it. It ran out of gas half way down the drive way(Approximatley 100ft) and wouldnt restart even with a jump. This whole process was extremely nerve racking and about as painful as can be when it comes to customer service. NEVER AGAIN. Also, after all this, I called the Bank that supposedly wouldnt take my loan paperwork, and they said the loan was approved back in July and that I had 3 days to make my first payment after I finally received my car almost 2 months later. However, if anybody uses this dealership, the only person I can recommend you use is Robert McNeil and the price on the car was great.

I originally went to them with buying a used car. After they inquired on what I wanted in a vehicle, how much I wanted to put down, what I wanted the monthly payment to be, and so I on; they presented me with several options. The one I chose was a brand new Jetta and I could not have been happier. The whole team, especially Quinton, were friendly and accommodating. Their service plus the lifetime oil changes as well as the guaranteed maintenance made them an easy choice for my car purchase. I highly recommend them to any and everyone who is looking for a new or used VW.

Pictures of the car were inconsistent with actual car. Salesman would not even come out to the vehicle when I arrived at the dealership even after I went inside and told them I was there. They sent another salesman out. Did not receive a counter offer even after asking for one 2 times before deciding on traveling to dealership. With one time on my way to the dealership 350 miles (7hours travel one way)The Carfax was inaccurate with noticeable defects of damage, paint coming off and rusting on the car.I came back to Mississippi and on Craig's List found 2 cars cheaper and 200% better than that car whitin 50 miles of home that very evening. My daughter said she would never go back to Georgia again. If you call no service and incorrect information, I would rank you and your dealership on a scale of 1 to 10 a rating of 10. If you call your service good, I would rank it 1. I will for sure not do business with you.

Back in June of this year I was contacted by a sales person from Heritage of South Atlanta due to an internet inquiry I had made regarding the 2013 VW CC. The young lady scheduled an appointment for me to come and test drive this vehicle and communicate my needs to her. The appointment was on a Saturday and when we arrived at the dealership there were only three salesmen on the floor. We (my mother and I) were informed that the sales associates were in a meeting so the gentleman that greeted us had to accomodate three sets of customers because their contact person were in this meeting. Our sales person obliges us by allowing a test drive of both the VW CC and the VW Passat. Now here comes the insult to my intelligence. I keep it one hundred with my salesperson and explain that I was going through the Bankruptcy process and I was awaiting my discharge letter in about 45 days. He had me to complete the credit Application. My mother and I chose to leave since it was so late in the day. Our salesperson gave me his card and told me to contact him anyday after Monday of the following week. When I contacted him he told me that he had talked to the finance company and they were going to do an "exception status" credit process for me due to my circumstances. The finance company also stated that they would not move further until they received my discharge letter. I contacted the necessary persons to find out that my discharge would take place on July 30, 2012. The salesperson then instructed me to keep him posted if anything changes. I held on to this hope for 45 days. My discharge did become official on July 30, 2012 and I faxed a copy immediately to my salesperson. I visited the dealership (the next day) on Tuesday, July 31, 2012 and completed another credit application, because it had been over thirty days, and while he contacted the finance company my mother and I ran an errand instead of just sitting around waiting. We had not been gone 10 minutes before I get a call, from another salesperson telling me about other options he thinks may work for me. We return to dealership and we are passed to another salesperson who instructs me that the only cars available to me are a 2003 Cadillac Seville ( cost - $7,300; $1200 down) and a 2005 Acura (cost - $9,500; $2500 down) no other cars would do. Now I have never gone to a dealership and the discussion with the finance company(ies) has taken such a small amount of time. I was insulted that they did not take the time to work a deal for me that I left with my 3500 down payment cashier's check and went to another dealership and purchased another vehicle that is a 2012 and did not have to use the down payment at all. The salesperson did not give me any other options other than the two vehicles. He was to call me August 1, 2012 at 11:00am and I have not heard from him or the dealership. Heritage of South Atlanta did not handle my situation with professinalism at all. I am still a VW fan and will acquire one in a few years but not from Heritage of South Atlanta. The final straw is Heritage of Lithia Springs worked a deal for me on a 2010 VW CC and Heritage of South Atlanta could not do the same. I did not take this deal due to the high mileage on the odometer. I am presently enjoying my 2012 Nissan vehicle.

I "wandered" into Heritage yesterday while looking for a possible replacement for my current car(the best I've ever had). I was blessed with Corey Douglass! From the moment he introduced himself to us, everythig was "uphill". Although I was only looking, he never made me feel that I was wasting his time. He listened to what I wanted, made recommendations,was extremely accommodating and NEVER pushy. My looking and researching is far from over but Heritage will stay at the TOP of my list when the buying process begins and I will not hesitate to recommend Corey. He and Heritage are definately head and shoulders above the other many dealerships I have visited.

The new car sales team at Heritage Volkswagen of South Atlanta is excellent. I visited the dealership on two occasions before deciding to buy a 2012 Jetta. On my initial visit, Dre asked me several questions which led him to find the features I was looking for in a car the color I liked. I appreciated his low key approach to the sale, and never felt pressured to buy right on the spot. During my second visit I worked with Tim. I feel like I got a real education about the 2012 models from Tim. Although I was pretty much sold on the Jetta I had been test driving, I did explore my options. Both salesmen where friendly and knowledgeable, and they ultimately put me in the right vehicle. Ron, who helped get all the paperwork in order, was also an expert in his area. I was able to ask questions while signing multiple documents, and felt like I knew what was happening at every step of the process. Overall, I am extremely satisfied with the new car buying experience at Heritage Volkswagen of South Atlanta.

Over the past month, I have been to Heritage VW of South Atlanta for both service and to shop for a new vehicle. The service department kept me up to date with what they were doing to my car. They were ready to work on the problem I for which I took the vehicle in, but suggested a couple other things. I asked them to take care of the initial problem, and there was no pressure to have the other issues all done at once. I appreciated that. The new car sales team at Heritage is excellent. I visited the dealership on two occasions before finalizing the deal, and worked with two different salespeople. I know how long each had been with VW and Heritage, and they were proud to be working there. This experience paid off when it came time to find my new vehicle. Arranging a test drive and looking at alternatives was not a problem. The whole process from start to finish was smooth, and I feel like I received a proper education about what VW had to offer. I hope not to be in the market for a new car for several years, but will return to Heritage first when that time comes again.

I had been looking for a reliable car for weeks and I went online to find my car. I actually felt betrayed.We've been going to Heritage South for a few years. We're "Beetle Folk" and prefer to take our VWs to qualified dealers for service or repairs. A couple of months back, we noticed that oil was, for lack of a better word, "disappearing" from our little 2003 Turbo Beetle. No oil on the carport, no smoke out of the exhaust and no oil smell ... ever. So we took it to Heritage South and they diagnosed the problem as a bad head gasket. $500 repair. For us, $500 isn't dinner money, but if that was going to keep us us from investing $50 a month in Castrol Syntec, it would be well worth the money. So that's what we did.So I checked the oil yesterday morning and it wasn't even showing on the stick, so off to our trusted friends at Heritage South we go. The assistant service manager informed us that the 'repair' that they'd made previously was a problem at the time, but that now our problem was a bad timing belt housing gasket, and for the bargain basement price of $1300 they would be happy to replace it.It really bothered me that he totally dismissed the fact that the first repair changed nothing whatsoever. It was as if he was trying to justify the misdiagnosed and unnecessary repair. We didn't want money back or anything; we simply wanted to know where the 18 quarts of oil had 'disappeared' to. When I asked him where the oil might be disappearing to, he just tap-danced around the question, was curt and generally treated me like an idiot. I was very surprised as Heritage had been so forthcoming and helpful in the past. I really hope this was an anomaly, but either way, we won't be using their services again.

Well my parents had bought a routan van from this dealership and love it. But they said if I ever go up their to ask for silivia as the salesperson. They said she was the best person they have worked with ever! So I went their I bought a tiguan love it. They gave a car to drive while the other I bought came then. And I also worked with silivia, it was nice to have someone who was not pushy and felt like wasn't just trying to get you to buy the car. But a person who cared what you drove. No complaints overall and am very satisfied.

I went to this dealership yesterday afternoon. In our 20-30 minutes there no employees acknowledged us. We went inside to seek help but no one even greeted us. I saw one salesmen working with a couple and 3 in an office talking with no customers. I told my husband lets go. He walked into the room with the three salesmen and alerted them that they have lost a customer. They said sorry but they were busy. I work customer service. I understand being busy. All they had to do was acknowledge us. I was already approved to buy a new car. Once we informed them we were leaving they inquired about our needs. We left there and drove to Heritage of Lithia Springs where Bryan came outside to greet us in less than 5 minutes. It took several hours to close the deal but Bryan was great with keeping us updated on the progress.

I ordered a 2012 Volkswagen Beetle from this dealer in October 2011. I dealt with Chris Kehm, who is in charge of Online Sales. He initially said the cars would be available in a manual transmission sometime in late November. But I kept in touch with him and he told me it was in route around the end of December. I e-mailed him several times during the duration of the manufacturing and shipping of my car. It arrived exactly as I hoped. It had the same hubcaps I ordered, same style of car and with no additons as I asked. The car was perfect in every aspect to me expectations. I would recommend this dealership but I would say that most contacts I made with others in the dealership were unanswered. I had asked the General Manager, Mr. John Abagate, about the status several times but he never replied. Other than that time, all the others I e-mailed answered whenever they had any new updates. I have nothing but praise for the salesman who helped me order my dream car. I've never owned a Volkswagen and I've always wanted to. Now I'm able to have a legendary vehicle. I've even posted a video I made about the 2012 VW on YouTube. I wanted to share my feelings about this car and I know Volkswagen would be happy to see that I am one customer who is happy with my experience and purchase of your newest addition to the Beetle Family. I was looking for a sports utility with all the bells and whistles while still wanting to be conservative on the price. I had been looking around town in Columbus, GA where I reside and just didn't quite see what I wanted, let alone receive the customer service I expected. At the advice of a family member, I went in to my local VW store and checked out the Tiguan. It seemed to have every thing that I was looking for and a few other options as well. On referral from the same family member I contacted Ron Douglas at Heritage VW. Ron was very receptive to what I wanted and the price range I was needing to stay within. Ron located the perfect vehicle almost immediately, the options were there and the price was within range. I test drove the Tiguan at my local VW dealership to seal the"wow factor". Once I decided the deal was a go, Ron had all the paperwork ready to be signed upon my arrival from Columbus. I was in an out in no time, Ron even took the time to explain all the inner workings so I could ride home in comfort. Loving my new Tiguan!

I visited Heritage for my first official service appointment for my new 2011 EOS. A minor repair was needed and I was informed I would be without my car for a few days. I was put into a rental car for my convenience. My car was left at the dealership and I was contacted about the progress while it was there. On pickup my car had been cleaned and detailed just as if it had come off the show room floor. All repairs and maintenance were thoroughly explained. I have been comparing a number of larger cars lately to trade up to. The VW TDI Sportwagon ended up on the short list. I was still conflicted between the VW and Toyota, with the Toyota having much better reliability past, but the VW having raving reviews on gas mileage and being fun to drive. Between the fact that the MSRP on the VW was almost $4k lower than the toyota, as well as the lifetime powertrain warranty and lifetime free oil changes that Heritage offers, I thought I could be persuaded to go VW. I visited the dealership on a Saturday to take a look at the car and test drive it. Sure enough, it was certainly a fun car to drive. I appreciated all the efforts that Billy went through to demo the car for me. I also appreciated the efforts that Ron made to make me feel welcome at the dealership.I returned to the dealership on Monday afternoon with my trade to see how the numbers worked out compared to deal toyota had already offered. I assumed it would be a quick trip, so I had no problem taking my 5 year old with me. Turns out that it takes almost 2 hours for them to offer me a thousand dollars less for my car than any other dealer I've been to while telling me that they have no room to sell their car below MSRP. Ironically, just a few minutes before this, I received an email quote from another Atlanta VW dealer quoting the same car (except it was an automatic instead of a manual) for $2500 less.I am certainly a fan of the free market system and feel that any dealer should be free to charge whatever they feel is right, just as the customers can choose to pay or take their business elsewhere. What upset me was that they had me sitting around the dealer for almost 2 hours with a hungry 5 year old son while they messed around and didn't even attempt to make me any kind of deal. I felt this showed a lack of respect for me and my time. I wish they had at least been busy, so I could give them a good excuse.

First off, let me say that I was once in the car sales business, and I wish the dealership I once worked for did business like Heritage Volkswagen. Everyone, from our salesman Billy, to sales manager Tim, to finance manager Todd, worked hard to get us into the used vehicle we wanted. They understood what we wanted and they made it happen. They let us drive the car for a few days while they worked out the details of the financing. The car needed new tires, and rather than slapping on a set they already had in stock they actually ordered the specific tires I wanted (Kuhmo Ecowings), in spite of the fact that it would take a couple of days to get them. In the meantime we were given a very nice loaner vehicle to drive. I can't say enough good things about the people here. I would DEFINITELY recommend Heritage Volkswagen to anyone looking for a used vehicle or a new VW. In fact I already have recommended them to several friends and co-workers. You just can't go wrong here.

My wife started this whole process of buying a pre-owned car. I only came in to sign the papers but was thoroughly impressed with the no pressure atmosphere you get at most car dealerships. Our Salesman Mitch was extremely polite and willing to go all the extra things to make us feel comfortable. My wife was very apprehensive when starting the process but Mitch made her feel very at ease throughout the whole thing. Todd the finance director actually said this "Time to go to war" referring to the effort he was going to and did make when dealing with the lender. Mitch I found out later was a new sales employee who has been with Heritage Volkswagen in Union City, GA for about 6 months. He was the most patient auto sales person with whom my wife and I have ever worked after trading many, many times over the years. He was knowledgable and willing to do what he needed to keep our business since we are repeat customers who took delivery of 5 new Jettas and Beetles just over 3 years ago and now trading each of them in for 2011 Jettas and looking at the 2012 Passat and Beetle for my wife. When I walked into the dealership I was really impressed with the cleanness. I had gone there to price a Jetta, before I knew it I was test driving one. Ron Douglas went over all the features with me. We then went to discuss the price, there was no haggling no let talk to my manager to make a sweet deal none of that (which was very refreshing). At the end I told him I wanted more time, he said fine. I went to three other VW dealers. One dealer would not even acknowledge my presence, the other two were like your run of the mill dealerships where it's you & the salesman against the his manager. So about a week later I called Ron & told him I would like to come talk to him again. When I got there he had the exact vehicle I had originally wanted! I drove that one, we agreed on a price. He sent it to get ready & I went talk with the finance manager Todd Towns. Honestly, I thought ok this will be the worst part (I have had bad experiences before buying previous vehicles). To my amazement it was a good experience.That afternoon I drove home in my new VW Jetta TDI.I have bought several vehicles in the past, this by far was my best experience dealing with a dealership!

Initially we were quite impressed with this dealership. We were looking for a used car for our daughter at a reasonable price and found a pre-owned SUV that was exactly what we were looking for in our price range. We did not feel pressured and we were sure this was the car for us. We went in for financing, filled out the paperwork, and waited. We are self-employed, so we know this often causes problems when trying to get credit. We were told that we needed to bring in additional paperwork to ensure financing and we could bring that in the next day (we were in on a Saturday evening). We told the salesman we wanted the car and would return the following day. When we were leaving the lot, the finance manager stopped us in our car and told us he had sent our paperwork to a loan company but it would be Monday morning before he knew anything. I asked him if we needed to return with the additional paperwork and he said we could fax it if we wanted, that way he would have it if he needed it. He said he or the salesman would call us first thing Monday morning. We told him we did want the car, and he said he would take care of it. Come Monday morning, we did not hear from either man, so we called, and after paging the salesman twice, were told they had sold the car on Sunday to someone else. No one called us to let us know, while we were under the impression the car would be held for us, as we told both men we wanted the car. I feel we were not dealt with honestly at all. I'm not sure if our financing did not go through and they didn't want to tell us, or if they just did not want to do business with us. I will never go back here and will tell everyone I know how we were treated --with no respect and no honesty. I am sorry we did not get this car--but we will have to shop elsewhere to get what we need. I would not go here to get a new or used car.

First contacted the dealer through the internet; received a prompt response and visited the showroom two days later; met with Jeanette Johnson, test drove two Touaregs-- gasoline and TDI Sport-- and bought the TDI (using a USAA intenet price certificate). Ms. Johnson was very pleasant, knowlegeable and cooperative, including arranging to have our trade in vehicle promptly appraised. Using the USAA certificate and a very good trade in appraisal, we agreed to a fair price and picked up the car the next day. The "extras" provided by Heritage, such as extended, unlimited powertrain warranty, airport pick up and drop off of vehcle for scheduled maintenance work, 12 month "appearance" (dent repair) protection and related made this very pleasant buying experience. WOW, Where do I start???Okay, my VW Customer relationship began with Heritage about two years ago when I wandered in to check out one of the new additions to the VW family, the EOS. Unlike most other dealerships, I was able to browse the lot, come inside and decompress before being asked how can I be assisted. Ron Douglas greeted my husband and I and listened to all the details of what I was looking for. I explained that I was just looking, but would like to see what was available and what was coming out (it was the end of the year). We zoomed in on one, checked out all the goodies and took a look at some numbers to see if we were ready to take the new car plunge. The last time I bought a new car was May 12, 1998, a then brand new VW Cabrio. So I needed to be updated on all the bells and whistles and the "slight" increase in price. We sat around a table and crunched some numbers, but I just wasn't ready to commit. No problem, no hard feelings, Ron said he would be happy to assist us when we were ready to make it happen.Fast forward two years later. The previously mentioned 98 VW Cabrio asked to be retired to the garage so it was time to get a new "Roadrunner". I knew exactly where to go. I drove my Baby (the Cabrio) to the dealership, walked into the lobby and around the corner walked Ron and yes he actually remembered me! I told him I was getting close to having to make a decision on a new car. We walked the lot. His first question was whether or not I was trading in. I said no and we moved on. This was rare. Other dealerships will hound you to death to pay pennies on the dollar for a trade, but he knew how much my Cabrio meant to me. Then I found the EOS that had my name all over it. I did not even need to test drive it, I knew she was mine. Ron did insist we take a quick drive with the top down with him as my chauffeur, I will admit I am glad I did (when would I ever be in the passengers side of my new car again). I think I enjoyed the test drive better than if I had driven. We walked inside, Ron brought me a bottle of water and there I sat (this time my Hubby tuned in from Kuwait via cellphone). Ron worked the numbers and they crunched my way!!! To make it even better all the paperwork was in order before I signed the deal and every simple detail was reviewed (Thanks Todd). It was time to take my BabIES home. I drove myself so Ron coordinated everything for me to get my Cabrio and my new EOS home. I truly could not have asked for better customer service....Now that's awesome!!! Two years worth of effort to let me know that EVERY customer that comes to Heritage is valued!!!

I had a great experience buying my last Jetta at heritage. Buying a new car can be stressful but Jeannette my salesperson, made the experience an enjoyable one from beginning end. I never felt rushed or pushed to make a decision over the 3 days it took me to choose the car. She kindly answered all of my questions and found a car to be delivered overnight for me to test drive. She even gave me a ride to the rental place to drop my rental before I took ownership of my car. When I hesitated on the TDI model she listened and carefully advised me that it would fit my needs really well since I drive long distances. I am very happy with the MPG. Since we have been VW owners, my wife and I decided to visit Heritage of South Atlantato look at new vehicles. We are retired and most likely this will be our last car. Seems funny that our first car was a VW and most likely our last. Your Mr. Ron Douglaswas kind enough to assist us. He is, indeed, a credit to your organization. Friendlyand courteous. Product knowledge was excellent. I was most impressed by his follow-up. While we didn't buy as we will probably wait until after the 1st of the year, somesales people would have stopped the process after we walked out of the show room. Hethanked us for the visit and interest. All aspects of Heritage were reviewed. He also took us to the service department. This is an important part of why I would chooseone dealer over another. My family and me were received at VW by Upon arriving at VW Ron Douglas who show us the Routan that we ask for he is really service oriented and also he is in very friendly and professional. I ask Ron to let my wife drive the routan and I instantly se fell in love with the car and also my dougthers. He explain us all the car characteristics and when we ask for financing they brougth us 3 options allways honest and transparent. That day we return to home with a new Routan and as a plus with a full tank of gas. Great team and great service. Our credit was approved on less than 30 mins. Upon arriving at VW we were approached by Ron Douglas in and very friendly but professional manner. Ron let me drive the tiguan and I instantly fell in love with it. When I brought my husband back to see the car Ron was very informed on the automobile and really impressed my husband ( not an easy thing to do ). When after visiting 12 other car dealers all around Atlanta, we came back to the dealership that was our first choice. After giving Ron the very top price we could pay, Ron went to work to find us a car. Believe it or not, Ron found me the Routan ( van ) for a great price that had all the bells and whisles that we wanted. We have now had our Van for 2 days and we keep fighting over who's going to drive it. We love our car, but Ron made the experience painless. I would recommend Ron to whomever is wanting a car. I have been shopping for a vehicle for about a year and visited Heritage Volkswagen several times; each time it was about educating me of new models. The conversation stemmed around what I wanted in a vehicle, not what was in the parking lot and available. I never felt pushed into making a decision or obligated to make the next step of purchasing.My wife and I drove again to see Ron and decided to purchase; we traded in both vehicles for two new vehicles and reduced out monthly payments. The new cars were what we had been looking for and just needed to wait for the right time, price, and sales person. I will be back to purchase a vehicle for my son when he is ready and I know the person that will be selling him a safe reliable vehicle and his name is Ron Douglas.I tried to go to other places and did not like the shell games or let me speak with my manager and I did not receive that at Heritage Volkswagens; I received respect and honest opinions based on my needs and best interests. This was the best car buying experience ever! Heritage Volkswagen has changed our view about car dealerships and purchasing a vehicle. My husband and I were not hounded, pressured, or swarmed down upon when we arrived. Mike Poling was the one who helped us with our new 2010 Jetta TDI purchase. We had origionally considered purchasing a "certified" used car when we visited after hours, but after a test drive in a new one we were hooked! Mike was extremely down to earth, knowledgeable, friendly, and did not hound or coerce us at any time. He offered us the best price and even offered to match any lower price we might find after our purchase. I heard a lot about Volkswagens in general and how going to one of their dealerships was a "real experience". This was hands down, the most enjoyable purchase due to the wonderful employees at Heritage. We have told all our friends and family who are "WOWed" with our car about Heritage and Mike. Highly Recommended Dealer and Salesman! As a first time car buyer I was skeptical and weary of buying a car on my own. I had done my homework and researched the 2010 Jetta TDI as well as dealers in the Atlanta area. After visiting another VW dealer and leaving somewhat humiliated I became quickly discouraged. I called Heritage to speak with a salesperson and was connected to Mike. I immediately felt a sense of relief by his understanding when I explained my situation. I needed a vehicle sooner rather than later as I was being relocated with my job but was only down for the week, only to go back to NYC for 3 weeks in order to return permanently by the end of the month. I knew I needed to not only find a car but figure out a financing option that I felt comfortable with as well. I stopped in the next day after work to test drive one of the available TDI's. I ended up signing the papers that night because of his willingness to work with me as well as the all the accommodations that he was able to make for me. Thanks to Mikes understanding, knowledge and efforts (that in my opinion were above and beyond) I am now the proud owner of a 2010 Jetta TDI. I couldn't be happier about my decision and can't wait to "break it in." (it only has 18 miles on it...9 of which I put on during the test drive.) I would feel comfortable in recommending him as well as the dealership to anyone interested in buying a VW. While I won't be needing another car for quite sometime hopefully the next time I do need to buy a car I get the chance to work with him. If you need a car and want a salesman that feels like you're interacting/dealing with a real person (instead of pushy and arrogant)call Mike.

Sales Person (Rick) was not over bearing and quickly supplied all information. Test drive was very good. I purchased a used BMW X5 (2001) that was in excellent shape. If Rick did not have an answer for something ( which was rare ) he quickly got the "right" information. He did not try to "snow" a person. I would deal with him again.

I searched long and hard for a 2006 or newer Passat with stick shift, sunroof and alloy wheels. I found the car at this dealership online after over a year of searching. I was able to complete the transaction over the phone and over the computer without ever seeing the car in person. The dealership made me feel very comfortable with purchasing the car sight unseen. They even offer a 72 hour guarantee in case you don't like the car after you take delivery. That is hard to find at any dealership. I had put a hold on the car that allowed me to take two weeks to make a final decision and get the paperwork started. Even though that time had run out before the transaction was complete they kept the car from being sold to keep me happy. Once I was ready to pick up the car I flew to Atlanta and Ron, a member of their team, picked me up at the airport and brought me to the dealership. The whole team was very nice and since all the paperwork had already been completed I was in and out with no troubles. I've had the car for a little over a month now and we love it. It was exactly what we wanted and we are very happy that we didn't have to settle for any of the features. After the purchase was complete the dealership handled registering the car for us, which was nice because the tags came straight to the house instead of having to go deal with the DMV. I would definitely buy from Heritage again. They go out of their way to resolve any issues and get you the car you want. I gave them 5's across the board for ratings because I dealt with a lot of dealerships in my search and not only did they have the car that I wanted, they had the service that I wanted. I've dealt with Heritage in Union City for the last 3 years for parts and service for my Passat. Recently my passat had some serious engine issues after the warranty just expired and the service department at Heritage was able to get VW to cover most of it. This was only 2 weeks ago and it got me thinking about a new VW again so I went in to see Rick Van Doren about a 2010 GTI. I got a fair appraisal of my trade in and I was able to get the GTI I was looking for. Rick knows these cars inside and out and made the process quick and painless. Chris Hatzo in parts has been great over the years and Brad in service really helped me out when I needed it. There's no reason to go anywhere else for new VWs, parts, or service. I was interested in the new jetta Sportwagen TDI. Mike was very knowledgeable about all aspects of the car (and believe me it has a lot of features). He walked my wife and I through the sale with no pain at all, it was seamless and stress free. We came in on a Saturday and drove the TDI as well as the CC (worth a look in it's own right). We made a fair offer, filled out a quick credit app, and got a better rate than was available through our Credit Union. Took a day to mull it over, called Mike and sealed the deal. A 1/2 hour back at the dealership to sign papers and off I drove in my new JSW. The car was spotless and ready to go.Copared to my last new car purchase (which was pretty much an all day ordeal), this was actually a pleasure. And, bottom line, I got the car I wanted at a very fair price.

I visited Heritage Union City after having been to most of the other Atlanta-area VW dealers. Selection and pricing was similar at each, but our sales person was extremely knowledgeable of the vehicle we were interested in, both about the model itself and the particular car we looked at. I learned more in an hour about this model than I had from numerous other sales reps. Other than the initial visit, the bulk of our communications occurred via email going forward and when we arrived for the final purchase, our car was ready for us. They did everything that they promised.

I initially came to look at a 2007 Jetta. Heritage offered a fair trade on my old caar and I got as far as purchasing the vehicle before some misunderstandings came to light regarding specific features. These problems were regrettable, but Mike and his manager were helpful and professional in offering several satisfactory ways to resolve the situation. At no time was I pressured to accept an unsatisfactory situation. Ultimately, we swapped the vehicle for a 2007 GTI with which I'm generally happy. Problems are just a part of life, so it's good to know that this dealer will work in good faith to resolve things constructively. I left satisfied.I have a couple of minor warranty issues to bring up at the next service so I'll come back and update this review at that time.

Upon entering the dealership, Mike instantly approached my boyfriend and myself asking if we needed any help. He was extremely friendly and once we mentioned the Jetta as an option, he quickly introduced us to the Wolfsburg edition. Great service from the second I walked in. They were very accommodating to the fact that I was purchasing from over 75 miles away from where I live and that my previous car had broken down (so I had been renting). Not only did their sales associate (Maurice S.) personally come to where I live to pick me up, they also provided me with a loaner until they secured my car.Other dealerships seemed inflexible when it came to negotiation and seemed to just brush me off with the "I have other customers waiting" attitude. These guys were very patient with me however.The employees I talked with were very friendly and even after we closed the deal are still very accessible for any questions I have.

We purchased a 2010 VW Tiguan. What a no pressure buying experience this was. Our sales Associate Mike Poling was great. He was very low pressure and patient with us. He allowed us to take our time and look and look and look. He allowed us private time to discuss options by our self. When he got tied up with another customer he made sure we were taken care of by another sales associate, Ron Douglas who was just as patient. Both of these guys were very knowledgable of their vehicles and answered our questions with ease. Both Mr. Poling and Mr. Douglas had such warm and friendly personalities. The General Manager also took the time to come out and introduce himself to us as though we were the only customers in the building (this was before we had even made up our mind to purchase a new vehicle). The gentleman in the finance department was also "on spot". He was very thourough and keep things moving right along for us so we were not there for hours completing paper work. I must also say that the service department is great as well. We actually brought our VW bug in to have a head light replaced and they had us out of there in under 30 min....wow what service. I would definately recommend this dealership to friends and family....

am writing this review on heritage volkswagon so that maybe i can prevent someone from trusting the high pressure sales staffs promises and suger coated lies about their vehicles condition and inspection checks they CLAIM to do on their used cars like i did.I bought a 2002 vw bug from this dealership abour 4 months ago.Before coming to the dealer i was told this car was in perfect condition and he looked over it himself and it was just like new. I told the salesman on the phone i was driving 2 hours so please make sure to tell me any defects before i leave he replied theres not a scratch on it.when i arrived at the dealership i test drove the car and the sales person explained everything about the car and features that i wasnt aware of. Almost everything he told me about the car i later found was completely false even the simple sound options i ask about he answered with whatever he thought i wanted to hear.(the salesman had no knowledge of the vehicle he was selling whatsoever). after the drive i noticed oil leaking under the car the salesman tried to tell me that was from the last oil change still dripping from a little over spill.then i was looking at the front bumper and grille and i noticed it was busted and hanging down. i touched it and the whole bumper fell off. salesman said oh i didnt see that! The passenger mirror was also busted out along with the front fog light. and the front bumpers paint was badly chiped and there were around 12 dents on the car total.So after they checked the oil leaking they said it was just the oil filter loose (total lie) so i asked if they were going to fix the bumper laying on the ground and they advised me they would for $700 so i said ok well just give me some zip ties and ill try to hang it back up. the sales guy watched me on the ground fixing it i asked him for help and he advised me he had brand new pants on. i then asked if he could get me a knife he said be right back. i layed on the ground waiting 20min he wasnt back so i went to get it myself and he was with other co-workers smoking and laughing. I had already paid for the car or i would have never bought it.Last but not least the car had the air bag light on so they said they would check it out. They told me it was the seatbelt sensor and the air bag was working just fine. I ask them if they were sure because if the airbag wasnbt working i need to get it fixed. they told me they checked everything with computer inspections and they checked the air bag and it was fine the seat belt sensor was just not reading.Ok now 4 months later it cost me $900 for the front bumper. $50 for the mirror. $140 for striped out oil drain plug. $1400 for the new air bag. and they also messed up all of the paper work that by the way they charged $1200 to do and i ended up doing it myself.So there was no mistake here the sales person lied to me about the condition of the car. and he lied to me about all of the problems with the car that he knew was a lie just to get the sale. i hope this keeps someone else from getting lied to like i did.** DO NOT TRUST THEM **

I was terribly disappointed with this dealership. I would NOT recommend Heritage Volkswagen to ANYONE.I found a used vehicle on Autotrader.com, and came in to see the vehicle. After driving 30 miles to the dealership, and test driving the truck, we discussed the price of the vehicle.The price advertised was 9,800. I was happy with that price, but the sales manager presented me with a price of 11,300. I told my sales person (who was friendly, but unprofessional, using obscene language) about the difference in price, and he said he would work on it. The sales manager printed me out an autotrader.com page of the vehicle, stating the price he wanted. The sales manager "put a negotiating call into the owner" and came down to 10,800. After refusing to work with me any farther, I was pressured into "signing off" on the price, by initialing next to it. I still was uncomfortable about this, so I walked out, and went back home to check my own page.With my printed page of the 9,800, I called the salesman, and he talked me into coming back to the dealership. I was getting outside financing from my personal bank for a better rate, and told my bank manager about it, and she said she would try to take care of it. On return to the dealership, the finance manager was EXTREMELY rude and cocky to me, down talking me about how "signed off on the price." I even went as far as threatening legal action through a lawyer, and he blew that off with a quick laugh. He also refused to drop a single bit of the SIX-HUNDRED DOLLAR dealership fee, on top of the fee to register the vehicle. My final price came up to 11,800, for a vehicle that was advertised for 9,800.After all of this, I was again disappointed from this dealership. The registration for my vehicle was never filed, until I called about it, days before the expiration of my temporary tag. Since she was not going to be able to register it in time, she sent me a new date for my tag. After nearly a month and a half, I was finally able to register my vehicle.I would NEVER recommend this dealership to anyone, and would advise anyone considering a purchase from this dealership to avoid at all costs. Get your vehicle somewhere else.

I returned there for a warranty repair of the rear doors window seals and they scratched one door and some how totaly gotten the other door compleatly out of alinement the door was sticking out a good 1/2 inch at the top. I returned it and they adjusted it only to make things worse by adjusting in the top and now the bottom was out 1/2 inch and then adjusted the front door trying to match up to the rear, now both doors are out and none of the boby lines match up. The car now looks as if it has been wrecked and very poorly reassembled. another return only more disapointment. Doors are still out, other door still scratched. They offered a replacement car, at a cost of an extra $7000.00 cost to me. The car is a new Jetta 2006 TDI. Purchased in August 2006 problem with seals were noted with in a couple of weeks and took untill December 22, to arive for the repair and all the problems began. They messed it up and I get to pay for it!!! Very Unhappy Volkswagon, Not for long Owner. My and my last.
