I purchased a 2013 Mazda CX9 from Hertrich in Dover.The sales representative Nick Rolls was very helpful and made the entire process as smooth as possible. The staff was very helpful as well and worked with me to get the best deal on my trade. Overall my experience with Nick and the sales staff was great and I love my new purchase. My wife and I are already discussing purchasing a second vehicle for her. Thank you to Nick and the wonderful staff at Hertrich for everything!

Recently purchased a 2014 Mazda CX5 from Hertrich Capitol and found the staff to be very accommodating. Not what I expected a very relaxed environment and not what I expected. The sales representative and managers were very professional, at the same time friendly, and made me feel comfortable purchasing the vehicle.

Hertrich Capitol is definitely a lifesaver dealership with excellent service.... I was looking for a new vehicle.... Nick Rolls and the sales team were definitely more than helpful... My credit was not the best, but the finance team and sales managers were helpful in my purchase of a '12 Mazda 3i.... I would recommend this dealership for car buying..... Traded in my 2003 Ford Escape. Mr Luis Garcia really outdid the deal. Took about 2 months but it was all worth the wait. Mr Garcia & his staff did not forget about me & worked very hard to get me into a newer ride. The staff provided me with assurance, excellent customer service, & no rush to be out the door . Made several visits to Hertrich Capitol, wanting to buy a Lincoln MKZ Hybrid, but I was very disappointed to learn they are not built in The U S A. I have met with Nick Rolls on each of those visits, but this last time he was on the road delivering an MKS to a buyers home. I've never heard of such personal service. Therefore, Christine D. took us for a test drive in the gold colored MKS of my dreams. She phoned Nick, and he was just returning. When we met with him we were shown that the MKS IS MADE IN THE U S A! SOLD! Thanks to Nick, Christine, Eric and Marcus, our price was met, low financing was arranged and we drove off two days later.

We bought a new Mazda 3. A great expeience working with Hertrich Capitol of Dover. We shopped and test drove all similar cars. One dreary cold night I stumbled into the lot at Hertrich's Capitol and was greeted by my salesman, Jerry Dennin. I had been searching for months for the right car and had been test driving various makes and models of cars for several days straight. I had read the many reviews about the Mazda 3 Hatchback and was not disappointed when I finally test drove that sweet car! I wanted a lease and was trading in my Bimmer which was equally awesome, a BMW x3 SUV- the mileage I was getting on a tank of gas was killing me! I didn't realize that the dealer name was Hertrich's otherwise I would have run away as fast as I could! I had a REALLY aweful experience at another Hertrich's while recently looking at Prius's and another horrible experience when I had bought a ford focus for my son a few years back. When Jerry had gotten permission from his manager, Eric Mayan for me to take the Mazda 3 overnight to show my husband, we were chatting and joking around( the guy has an amazing sense of humor) I started telling him about the nightmares I had experienced at Hertrich's in the past, and he calmly said to me..."Do you know the name of our dealership,Jen?" And I replied "Capitol Mazda- Lincoln- Suzuki, why?" That's when he broke the news to me that I was at Hertich's Capitol. Boy did we laugh! The next day after having the Mazda 3 overnight, my husband test drove it back to the dealership and was very impressed. Although the wheeling and dealing and finalization of the deal was an all day process( Needs a bit of work, guys), we left with my 2013 Mazda 3 Hatchback and a good deal. Both Jerry Dennin and Eric Mayan are great guys and actually fun to work with, The also make an excellent cup of coffee with their Keurig Coffee Machine!

I bought a used 2011 GMC Terrain last Friday and Luis was my salesperson. It was a comfortable process and I have to say it was a wonderful experience. I came in late after work and I was pleasantly surprised that I was not rushed through the process. I had planned on going to 2 dealerships in New Jersey on Saturday to look at some other vehicles, but it was not needed. I would highly recommend this dealership to anyone that is looking to purchase a vehicle and be traeated like a valued customer.

I just recently purchased a used 2007 Mazda 3 at this location. My sales representative, Clyde, was awesome! He walked me through each step little by little to make sure I was sure about the decision I was making. I was able to purchase a vehicle in my price range without being sold monthly statements that would be out of my league. Along with Clyde, all the other staff that I spoke with were very courteous and helpful. If you want a good experience and a great buy, this is the place to go! They take good care of their customers!

We stopped at Hertrich's Capital prior to going to an appointment at another dealership. Jordan greeted us and listened to the criteria we had for a new vehicle. He looked at his inventory and found lovely 2008 Acadia. As lifelong GM owners, this made my husband and myself very happy. Although the vehicle had greater mileage than we had originally specified, the rest of the SUV was wonderful. Eric, the sales manager and Jordan worked to get the price of our trade and the payment of the new vehicle to a comfortable (for us) amount. Everyone was helpful, friendly, professional and un-stressful to be around. I believe I have found my favorite dealership in Kent County!

Wow, if I knew buying a car wasn't as difficult as the last dealership I went to, I would have traded mine in a long time ago! I came in with a 2011 with 40k on it, initially to look at a 2001 BMW, figuring I would have to go older to lower my payments (I knew I was going to have a hefty rollover from my 2011). I had been in contact with the salesman Luis Garcia during the day, he had taken the BMW out, and had it ready and waiting for me when I got there! After a quick drive I let them run my credit and the manager Travis came to talk to me. I couldn't be approved for an older model but I had options. They got me in a BRAND NEW 2012 Mazda 3 (last year's model obviously but with only 9 miles on it!) AND reduced my payment $120! I was in and out with a brand new car in 3 hours, and a majority of that wait was getting all the paperwork done, because they were pretty busy for a Friday night. Even the guy in finance was awesome. They were all very friendly, knowledgeable, they obviously enjoyed not only working there, but with each other. Great place to go. And I never have to go back to the "OTHER" dealership again!!

I just had to write about my wonderful car buying experience at Hertrich Capitol. It was time for a trade in and I was searching online for comparable vehicles and went to the Hertrich Mazda website and saw a great deal. I set up an appointment to go in and Im so glad I did as I am now the happy owner of a Mazda 3. Jordan was on hand to help us and was knowledgeable and professional. I was also impressed at how the Mazda team members work together. We were introduced to staff in the service department and the parts department -- that says a lot to me. I also have to say a special thank you to Sales Manager Eric and to Sam. If you are looking for a vehicle, I would recommend you visit Hertrich Capitol.

We drove around the lot, just to take a look, not planning to stop, much less buy, but after Christine came out to greet us on a rainy day and convinced us to come inside, she was able to get us into the perfect vehicle for our needs and wants at an amount that fit our budget. Was interested in a mnivan. The salesperson we dealt with was very new to selling cars. He couldn't answer any of our questions. He got someone else to come and talk to us, which was fine. We were back and fourth four times to look at the same minivan. We decided to buy it. It was 4:30pm (they close at 5pm) on a Saturday and live 30 mins away. We told the "new guy" we would go get the trade in and come back but they would be closed at that point. He said, don't worry about it tonight, come back on Monday at 6:30 and we will do the deal and paperwork. He called at 4:00 and said the vehicle was sold. We asked him how this could happen since we had an appointment setup to "do the deal". He couldn't answer the question. We (Travis) the manager and he said it is just business. I know that it is a business but when you have an appointment to come purchase a vehicle they shouldn't sell it from under you. Bad customer service on their part. I have never dealt with a dealership that didn't give a call first to make sure you are still coming. Wasted four days dealing with them and I will never go back. They can keep their "its just business". I will never send anyone there and will encourage those to stay away also.

We live over 3 hours away. We called up before Chrsitmas to see if Hertrich capitol had a used truck that we had looked all over for. They said they did have the truck and they would have it sat to the side for us when we arrived. We arrived the next day to look at the truck and they had put the truck under a over hang and had multiple baloons on it. My family and I test drove the truck and came back inside and the deal that they gave us was amazing. Everything they promised us on the phone happened and the deal was everything they said it was going to be. They had us in and out in no time and we were on the road enjoying our new truck. Trust me, I read some of the other reviews before I called up there, But they had the truck I wanted and I can't go off someone's bad experience,especially when I don't know the whole story. I just know my experience was amazing and I will check them out when I need my next truck or maybe if we want to get a car. But we love us our trucks!

I saw a Lincoln Aviator online, lowest price in Delaware, and called them to make sure they still had it. Went in and looked at it, but we were not able to come to an agreement on a price for my trade, so my husband and I left. That was on a Friday night. That very next Saturday they called my husband 3 times asking us to come back in, promising they would be able to make us a deal we would not be able to refuse. We went back that night and were able to come to an agreement on my trade and we left that night with our new Lincoln. It was about 4 months later we saw a Ford F-250 my husband liked and we went in to test drive it but couldn't decide if we wanted it or not. They let us take the vehicle for the weekend. Who does that! We brought it back and told them we saw a diffferent F-250 we wanted to look at that was just listed on Hertrichs website that day, but it was at a different Hertrich store down state. They drove us down state, in one of their cars, just so we could look at the truck and test drive it. We loved the truck and they let us drive it back to the dealership. They made us an excellent offer on our trade. The truck we bought had just been traded in the day before so it wasn't clean or serviced. Again they let us take one of their trucks home while they cleaned and serviced the one we bought. When we picked up our new truck it was spotless. We've been very happy with both vehicles and are now looking to trade the Aviator in at Hertrichs.

I would NEVER buy another car from them or get my car serviced from Hertrichs Capitol!!! If i could give their service department 0 stars I would!! I had trouble with my air conditioner last summer, took it to them (I had an extended warranty that covered it) they told me first to pay $150 diagnostic fee held my car for 4 hours to tell me there was a "leak" in freon. Two days later it went up again, I took it back and they said that they "missed" the problem. So, I go back a third time to actually get it fixed. THEY ORDER THE WRONG PART! So after traveling the 35 miles from home to Dover 3 times, I get my car back with scratches on the side view mirror from the incompetent service department scratching it while putting it on the lift. And thats just my experience from the service team. Don't even get me started on the sales team!! Avoid Hertrichs Capitol at all costs!!!

After researching Mazda's on cars.com, I decided to visit Hertrich's in Dover and was very pleased with the immediate service I received when arriving their. They were not pushy. I told them why I was there and what I was looking for. They never once tried to push any other vehicles or talk me into something I didn't want. Great customer service from beginning to end. My salesman even gave me a gift that he personally buys for all of his customers.
