The staff at Hudson Honda where all very helpful and welcoming. I had a pleasant time with Brian Pena, he answered all of my questions and had an extensive knowledge of all the cars from the pricing, features to the pros and cons of each vehicle I was interested in. Brian was very patient with me and not once made me feel pressured into buying, I didn't feel rushed. He truly made me feel that his main priority was my satisfaction in getting me what I truly wanted. I walked out with an amazing car at a great deal. If you are looking for a Honda do NOT go to this particular branch. We had the least knowledgeable salesman "take care of us". Upon arrival, they had no record of the appointment that I set up and confirmed. They had music blaring that made it very difficult to hear the employees speak. We were instantly shuttled to a desk where they immediately did a credit check before they even asked what we were looking for or if we wanted to check out vehicles. Instant credit check. The dealership was packed and the salesman asked for me to say my social security number out loud. Then he tried to talk me out of the car that I wanted because I am a first time buyer. He automatically assumed that I did not have the money to purchase this car and said that I needed to buy something cheaper. I could literally outright buy four of the cars if I wanted to, but no one asked what my needs were. At this point, I considered just walking out, but I really wanted to test drive the car. Finally, after I told them I could outright purchase the car without financing they went to get the car from another lot for the test drive. I can only assume they tried to talk me out of the car because they were too lazy to go and get it. The salesman broke the trunk and ripped up the battery when he was showing us the car. Any question that we asked during the test drive the salesman said "I need to ask my manager / I don't know." If this wasn't bad enough, when we finished the test drive and went inside, they claimed that Honda no longer produces the color car that we want. It literally is a 2021 color and just came out on the line. They also told us there is no way to order from the manufacturer because the color was discontinued. They also said that the "build your car" function on the website is obsolete and you can't actually build-to-order your car. I thought that was odd since the website says you can do just that. Overall, 0 out of 5. I do not recommend this particular dealership to anyone I know unless you would like to waste your day, be lied to, and feel like you are in a nightclub. Turn the music down, what is this a frat house? Take your money to Toyota.

Had such a great experience at Hudson Honda of West New York! As soon as I walked in the lot I was approached in a very friendly way. All of the employees were amazing and helpful. They make you feel very comfortable.Cyle helped make the whole process pleasant and easy. He is an excellent salesman who always has a smile on his face . I'm not sure whether it's my personality that draws the people that work at Hudson Honda to be so friendly but each and every time I've been there for any reason, or had reason to call, they are the friendliest, patient, most helpful people I have ever dealt with! Cairo was my salesman and he was kind, patient, knowledgeable, considerate, and not pushy for anything, He went above and beyond to help. Yirko was a great help in explaining all the financing issues I had and at no time did I not believe I was going to NOT get financed. It was to the point, understandable and I was given options and they were patient on decisions. These people feel like family. Jose Martinez was the finisher of our loan process and he was great as well. The whole process at Hudson Honda is inexplicably the best place to buy a car. EVERY dealership should be patterned out of Hudson Honda. Thank you for another great experience! (PS..if Henry M. Is there, he will entertain you with his funny personality.)

I stopped by Hudson Honda last week to see if I can lease a Civic Coupe. I met Cyle there and he had been very helpful and patient. He explained all the detail clearly and gave me all the information I needed. We also had a test drive, during which he took his time explained every feature in the car for me.The next week we went through the trade in process of my used car. The car had a lot of issues but Cyle was able to keep me updated during the whole process and being very supportive.I really enjoyed the experience and I would definitely do business with Cyle again next time.

Awesome experience buying a used car! My salesman Cyle Alsonso was helpful and efficient. After having visited many other dealerships only to experience the advertised low car bait and switch tactic I was pleasantly surprised with the excellent communication with the internet manager Tim as well as with the my salesman Cyle. Hudson Honda also made accommodations for me to be able to take the car to an outside independant mechanic to have the care inspected. The car checked checked out with only a few recommendations of repair. Hudson Honda was kind enough to fix a few of these minor items before purchase. Parking is a challenge at this dealership but the whole staff made the process easy. Vlad the General Manager runs a great dealership. Thanks I'll be sure to check back if I ever need another car!

John Colarte was extremely professional and helpful on our visits to Hudson Honda. He offered to go get us the car we needed from their other lot in 10 minutes on the first night we came in but we weren't in a rush so we came back the following evening. As promised, he had the car ready to go the next night. On the test drive he gave us a lot of information on our car, tips of how to work buttons, etc. He was down-to-earth and friendly without being over-bearing. We are very happy with the experience and our new car. Anthony Lazo was also very frank with us during the approval process and made us feel very comfortable making such a big investment.

I live in Queens and made the trip to Hudson Honda with zero expectations. I always do my research on dealerships when I am making a big purchase. EVERY business has there nay sayers but I base my opinions based on experiences. My experience was great! I test drove the 2016 Honda Accord EX and was its smooth comfy ride made me buy it! Mike (Michael) Tejada explained all the features of the car and was accessible when i had questions. When I went back to purchase the car, I walked in the show room and before I could find Yirko Salgado said Mike Mr. Hartley is here to see you. I thought that was impressive. I went to this place for an oil change and to a check out for any problem's .. So I decide to leave my car. And said they will call me that was at 12 pm.. By 5.30 no body call me so I went to the dealership on my way I call Hudson honda.. And the guy wants me to leave my car until next day..for a check out but he said the oil change was done ... I said no I need my car and I was on my way..I arrived at Hudson Honda at 530pm my car was parked at the same spot I left it.. No work was done to my car .. This guy lie to me .. They had my car o 5 hours and no work was done to my vehicle....so unprofessional.. They waste my time.. People don't waste your time for service in Hudson Honda ..they don't deserve any starts.. They should be out of business

Just leased a new Honda HR-V. I originally went in to test drive some cars but really loved the HR-V plus they had the one I wanted, in the color I liked, with all the extras I was interested in. I had the pleasure of working with a sales representative named Michael who was really informative, not at all pushy and friendly with a positive attitude. This was my first lease so I was a little nervous and not sure about how my credit score was. He made me feel comfortable and walked me through the paperwork and entire process in a very professional manner. Once everything was approved, I worked with Anthony (in the upstairs offices) who guided me through all the leasing/warranty options available and I signed my final paperwork. He answered all my remaining questions and finished the process smoothly. All in all, I had a GREAT experience with a knowledgeable and pleasant staff. I walked out happy, excited and in my new car all in the same day!! I highly recommend them!

My lease was given to me without a inspection sticker. I was issued a ticket now this dealer has been giving me a run around for 7 months and won't pay me back! I have been sent to every managers voice mail and no calls returned. I've called and was told my ticket was never in their systems. I've emailed Victor Torres a few times with attached documents of ticket. Was told twice a check will be processed. I emailed him last week to follow-up and what a surprise no response. I can't wait for this lease term to be up and take my business somewhere else.

First, when I purchased my vehicle, I waited 6 hours in the dealership. After 5 hours, they asked me to make an addition $1,500 down payment. Second, my temporary plates expired days ago and I still have yet to receive a response from them. I cannot even drive the car I purchased. Third, my first payment is almost due, and I still have yet to receive information pertaining to who I need to make the payment to. This is absolutely ridiculous and unacceptable. My salesperson, Wanda, was incredible and very supportive through the process, but the business managers are incompetent and complacent.

Last week I've brought my 2014 Honda Accord with under warranty mileage to check and repair for "front passenger door mirror and window not operable". After 5 hours in service I've got a phone call from service adviser refusing even to look in to my car problem based on mechanic bogus claim that since my front bumper was touch up painted, this car and my problems are no longer under warranty. I have been adviced that If I would like mechanic to proceed with the investigation, I have to agree to pay for it $50-100I refuse and had to pick up my car after 5.5 hours in service with no result or repair.Later at local auto repair facility problem in my car came to a MISSING FUSE and it took 1 minute and 22 second to investigate and to replace fuse out of courtesy, no payment involved.I'd like to know position of American Honda on such handling of warranty issues by Hudson Honda of West New York.

Went Labor Day , got a great deal we thought on the car and made the down payment. Because we live in Jersey city we asked if we could leave the car on the lot and return in 10 days to pick up. Well we show up 7 days later and conveniently, our deal was no longer - hey wee now telling us to pay $26 more per month as the best they could do. Apparently we were supposed to sign some forms prior to for the financing however NO ONE told us of this. Not Lamont or Tim. We are very disappointed and angered at the same time for the amount of time wasted and for their dishonesty. Needless to say, we asked for a refund and walked out. I would stay clear of this Honda dealer. They are not trustworthy.

A minimum of 15 emails have been sent to numerous staff and management, as well as voicemails, and to date still have not received a response. Towed my Pilot to Hudson on Mon morning after a minor crash caused radiator damage. Took four days to repair. Was called Fri morning with good news and bad news. Radiator was fixed but a/c was damaged in crash and didn't notice til car was put back together. No attempt was made to try and fix. Now we have drive back to Florida with no a/c. Adrian the service manager was great to deal with but somebody dropped the ball on the repair!

Total price was very fair and I was comfortable with price point. Overall, Hudson Honda provided a pleasant experience. Key word here is very comfortable doing business with them. From the moment I walked in to my departure everyone was as friendly and nice. I wish I remembered everyone's name, but I want to say that the staff as a group...awesome.

Last Saturday my husband and I took a 2012 Honda Civic for a test drive. We had found the car on hudsonhonda.com the day before. The car had the features we wanted with less than 20,000 miles on the odometer. The list price seemed fair enough, but what interested us most was the internet price for $4,000 less. We emailed Hudson Honda to schedule the test drive and mentioned the internet price we saw on the site. To be honest, I thought the internet price might just be a gimmick to get you to schedule a test drive. John Colarte was the sales person who greeted us last Saturday. Before we began the test drive, I brought up the internet price with John and he stated he would absolutely honor it. That settled, we enjoyed the test drive. John was pleasant and professional. The car performed well and was in great condition. It looked practically brand new to us and the interior was spotless. John's knowledge of the car was excellent and he put no pressure on us whatsoever to buy; the car sold itself. Having decided to buy, we waited for the financing to be processed. The dealership is busy, but clean with nice amenities in the waiting room so we didn't mind the wait. Our finance officer, Jose, was also pleasant and professional (as was the entire staff at Hudson Honda). He put together a deal honoring the internet price, and at a great interest rate with full warranty and coverage at a monthly payment I could afford. After signing the necessary paperwork, we were able to drive away in our brand new (used) car. Our experience at Hudson Honda was great. We're glad we went there. Best of all, we love our Honda Civic. We're most pleased with its MPG. It seems to sip gasoline. I would recommend Hudson Honda, and John in particular, to anyone looking for a car.

As a working mother of three small children, every minute of my time is precious. We are in the market for a pre-owned Honda and contacted Hudson Honda based upon an advertisement they had for a vehicle that met our needs and our budget. Although this dealership was 65 miles from my house, we were willing to take the trip if we were going to leave with a new car. After speaking to a sales representative and a manager, we had agreed upon a price and was told multiple times that the car was in "showroom condition" (their words). After work on a Friday night my entire family drove up over an hour to go see this "showroom condition" vehicle. Almost immediately we were shocked to see that the car had extensive damage to the body. When we questioned it, the manager apologized, but said the damage would cost him too much to fix...and then proceeded to show us other more expensive cars. Needless to say, we left there with three tired kids and two angry adults. It is dealerships like this that make me hate car shopping. Please beware, if it looks too good to be true, it probably is!!!

I was given a good analysis about the differences in different CRV models. Financing part I figured out myself. Finally I decided to buy a new car. Aggressive sales tactics is right!!! These people should be ashamed of themselves! I am a long time customer here (6+years) and I can honestly say the service department is totally legit and comprised of people who want to help too bad the sales people are scam artists.Long story short, went to buy a new car and was given a fair price via internet sales. I asked for a further discount because I thought I deserved it for being such a good customer to there service department instead I was told by some moron of a sales person that I was a fool for throwing money at a car whose value continued to decline and I could not get a discount. You know he was right, dumb move on my part but who the xxxx is this guy to tell me this!!! unbelievable!!I went to the service department and spoke to the service manager who went to the sales manager and told him what happened to me. A short time after the fool of a salesman who insulted me came over and instead of apologizing he came over and said "I heard that you want to talk to me?" did he expect me to apologize to him? no idea,. but really just a horrible experience.The service manager saw me outside and said it to me in a great way "your money is green no matter where you go, be smart about the process".. so I took my money to Garden State Honda.Flora apologized for the experience but the damage was done because my business went somewhere else.

We love this guy! We knew what we wanted, a Honda. We called Rigo beforehand to let him know we were coming and that we wanted someone who could communicate with us as we would with him; meaning, no BS. None.We walked in and were immediately greeted and seated. Rigo was busy, obviously, but we were comfortable waiting when he was helping another when we arrived. He knew how to do two things at once! He listened to what our needs were and didn't suggest anything else, just bottom line: selling us our car. We test drove two cars and made our decision. Easy. The prices were reasonable as we could imagine in getting a new car. The financing was non-stressful and we got out of there with our new 2015 Honda CRV! He even went out and set up some of the features and went over the rest before we left the lot. We will be back and we will be suggesting him and Hudson Honda to our friends and neighbors.

As honest/straight forward/transparent as one could hope from a car dealership. Will likely have the best discount off of MSRP, (but then fairly weak discounts off of accessories - they have to make money somewhere). The sales team works with a hustle (literally jogging/rushing/recognizes how painful the process is and works to get you through it as fast as possible). Bought my first Honda here 5 years ago, and now a second today. Oscar Cordova was our product specialist and he truly did what he could to make this painful process as bearable as possible.

At first I thought I received good customer service.. I now have changed my mind. I traded my car in and the "service" I received after was absolutely awful. I called Rigo for help so many times and he didn't have to courtesy to return my call. They completely dropped the ball and never sent a payoff check for the car I traded in, now that's just bad business. I did not receive any type of apology or remorse for what is a huge mistake on their end. This is going to hurt my credit in the long run. The manager Ronald is just as useless as Rigo. I had to go in person to resolve this problem because neither would get on the phone to help fix THEIR mistake. Do yourself a favor and go car shop elsewhere.

Robert Diaz goes above and beyond any customer service I've ever experienced. I brought my car in to have the bluetooth serviced and Robert overdelivered on my expectations. The dealer provides shuttle service to the nearest mass transit (although it was not part of the their covered area I was driven to JSQ). With the hussle and bussle of the morning, I forgot my phone in the shuttle and it was returned to me when I returned to pick up my car! I have spent thousands of dollars at this dealership having my four different vehicles services over the last 15 years. In the past, the majority of the time service was acceptable to good. However, in the last 18 months I have witnessed aggressive service selling every time I take my vehicle in if only for an oil change. They have become more concerned about "selling" service than their service performance. Recently I asked to have a noise checked and the service department came back with $3,000 in items to eliminate the noise and other issues they found. Since the vehicle was 5 years old I authorized the repairs because I knew it would make it safer and more comfortable to drive. When I drove out of the dealership the noise, that I had originally request to be repaired, was still there loud and clear. I should have been on alert for when I took the vehicle in there was a couple who were complaining about a new CR-V they purchased which had a persistent noise that this dealership had been unable to eliminate in 6 months. The service department is a money making racket for them. You ask to get an oil change and they come back with a report of 5 or 6 items that need to be repaired or replaced. I took the last report to my local service station and they laughed - only 1 item needed attention and it the least expensive one on the list. Beware!!

I bought a new Odyssey from Anthony Salcedo and he was terrific. They didn't have my car in stock but Anthony found it in two days and I was driving it within a week. He was very professional and helpful throughout the entire process. I would highly recommend working with Anthony if you are looking for a car.The one issue I had was with the final registration paperwork. I had to wait an hour to get this done even though I paid in cash and they knew when I was picking up the car. I would have expected the paperwork to be mostly ready. That's not Anthony's fault but that's the reason I took a star off my service rating.

My Boyfriend took his car to get fixed by this location at Hudson Honda of West NY 9 months ago and in that time frame he went back because his car was making noise every time he went up hill or turned left or right( which was not making the noise prior to getting fixed). He then took it so they can check it out again and advise him that it was normal so he took there advise and didnt pay the car any mind but something in his gut told him to get second opinion with another HONDA MECHANIC and they told him that it was not normal and advise him to take it back to the original location and this will be the second time that he takes the car back for the same issue. This is so inconvenient for us cause of our work schedule and i hope this time they listen and fix the actual problem. My appointment is on monday so fingers crossed and to be continued... :\

From the moment I walked in here, I guess I was bad luck. Not this dealer's fault. The car I came in searching for was already sold earlier that day, but I decided to stay since they seemed to have a bunch of nice Hondas on the lot, and my heart was set on a Civic. I was helped by Michael, if I remember correctly, who was very nice, kind of quiet, and apparently new. I found only one Civic that I liked enough to test drive, so I did. I was also greeted at some point by a manager named Jorge, who assured me that they were flexible in pricing, and that they would work with me to find something that would suit both of us. I test drove the car (horrible area for a test drive, by the way..) and although it was pretty new, it did not drive as smoothly as the other Civics I'd test driven, and there were scratches all over it.So I made an offer. I did lowball them a bit, since I felt I could (and should) get a better price for an imperfect vehicle. But I was willing to negotiate. The manager who came to talk prices with me, David, responded this to my offer: "No." No counteroffer. Just No.So I offered again. David was unwilling to lower the price even a little bit. Isn't that how negotiation works? I made my final offer and then offered to leave my phone number in case they changed their minds, to which David replied, "For what? What are you leaving your number for?" Very polite.Also, even though I had test driven the car and made it to negotiations, they allowed someone else to test drive it while I was still thinking of taking it. Very rude. What would they have said to the other customer if I had bought the car? "We're sorry we let you test drive it, but it's sold now."Anyway, Jorge came back to negotiate with me as well, and although he dropped the price a little bit, he was unwilling to drop it further even though I pointed out the many scratches on the vehicle. I left this place feeling disappointed, a bit angry, and hopeless. Luckily, later that day, I found a much better used vehicle for a really great price at DCH Montclair Acura. The Civic I found there had about 10,000 more miles on it than the Civic I found here, and yet it drove more smoothly, and didn't really have any scratches. I'm lucky I had that second place to make me happy, because I might have lost my faith in car dealerships forever.So, if you want an okay experience with free hot dogs, come here. But if you want something that works for you more than it works for them, go somewhere else.*Side Note: The car I went in looking for that was already "sold earlier that day" is still listed as "for sale" on various websites like kbb.com and edmunds.com. I can tell because of the VIN number.

After working with Rigo Mendoza and John Colarte, not only was I able ot find the car that I liked with the parts I considered necessary, but I was also able to find it at a reasonable price. Before we walked in at hudson honda, I've already set up my mind that I'll only be looking at the cheapest car because my budget was so tight and i"ll only be using the car going to work which is 10 minutes away. Thanks to the help of marleny, they were able to give me a very good deal with a car model and color that i requested. Of course, thanks to big boss John Colarte for making everything possible. I had leased a car from HUdson Honda a month and half ago, which I thought was the best Customer Service, I was WRONG, After I left a few weeks later Brian my sales man calls me to tell me that I was not approved for the lease and so on, Which is hard to believe that the voicemail was other wise. Since then I did not receive my new registration in the mail which I was TOLD that I would just transfer my old plates to the new car which I was not aware of and thats why I did not get the plates, Which then after driving a total of 4 times to the dealer 2 additional times where due the dealership not informing me about my registration that was not going to be sent to my house but the dealer, and the 2nd set of temp plates where going to be expired. On top of everything they sent the payoff for my trade in car to the wrong place and 30 days later my bank calls me to tell me they NEVER RECEIVED IT, Which effected my credit!! . Which I find very odd and suspicious... In addition to these things that should have been dealt with before I left the first day I received the car! I had to fill my own gas up which (Brian) told me if I brought the receipt in they would refund me which I NEVER Received and is still trying to get back! They claim they lost the copy they took from me, my second trip there which is 2 HOUR DRIVE, and when I had agreed to lease I was told once price and when I came back the 2nd time it was another, the finance manager who ills all the paper work out, told me it was because i agreed to tired protection, which she made it seem clear i had to get it in order to lease the car, which was a lie, and now i'm leasing a car for more then i wanted, had issues with my bank, and for what!?!?? If you go here make sure you do a follow up from your bank, do your HW and call back to make sure the paper work was put in properly, I just felt like I was being treated not professionally, These are just minor issues which I think as a customer I should not have to deal with...

Just wanted to say that my experience at Hudson Honda was very pleasant. I never once felt pressured. I went in there with an idea in my head of what I wanted and the salesperson (Aladdin) kept it to the point. After looking around a little bit, I told him that I was looking for something simple; he immediately showed me a car that was within my range and exactly what I was looking for.Again, there was no pressure to purchase that day, and he even kept insisting that I ask him any questions I may have. He also even pointed out a few things that he thought would be helpful for me to know. All the car history information was provided and they even worked on providing the lowest rate for me comparing different banks to for my financing. Everyone was extremely kind and took the time to make sure I was being taken care of.I am extremely happy with my pre-owned Honda Civic and even happier to the VERY attentive customer service provided by Aladdin and the staff of Hudson Honda. I came to Hudson Honda not knowing what to expect, it was my first time coming to a Honda dealership ever. I had an appointment with a sales rep named Michael Tejeda, and from the minute I walked in , he was extremely helpful. I needed a car ASAP but I wasn't sure what would be my best and most financial decision to make. Michael like I said was great, he went over all my options with me to help pick the most affordable. He really worked with me to get me everything I needed in the car. The customer service all around was phenomenal, everybody was friendly and help and even their knowledge on the specifics of all models was exceptionally well. I'm not gonna lie I was nervous to sign for a car and commit to payments because it is a big responsibility, but Mike and the rest of the employees really reassured me and I'm very happy I chose to do business with them. It's been a week and a half that I had the car and I love it. I definitely recommend that people choose Hudson Honda, especially Michael Tejeda, if you want the best service and customer experience!

Every person I worked with and met at this dealership was top-notch, professional, friendly, etc. People went out of their way to check on me and made sure everything went smoothly. From the first phone call a week ago to leaving the dealership with my new Honda this weekend, it was clear that Hudson Honda stands out. I generally don't like sales-type people, I'm more of a tech person, but this experience was refreshing. Hudson Honda treats you like a customer. I don't know why it can't be like this everywhere, but kudos to Mr. Tropiano for all he does to make this happen. He is the VP and he was out on the sales floor making sure everything was OK. He cares about people and all the employees are on board with his philosophy. I think they are a top volume dealership and they want to stay that way. In my opinion, this is a successful dealership. They are great and are looking for ways to be better. Thank-you to David Constant, Flora Adamani, Ronal Lopez, the finance guys, and everyone that had customers of their own, but still checked on my wife and I to make sure our experience was perfect. We didn't need anything, since the process went so smoothly, but it was nice to know that so many people felt it was their job to take care of us. Well done, Hudson Honda, you are the best of the best. Incidentally, the car was amazing! Honda high technology engineering taking another step forward.

I already had an 09 Accord which was in for service (oil change) but by 1 pm I was driving out in a brand new Honda Accord 2014 EX, everyone from Chris to my sales man Rigo to Orlando to Eric were super professional, courteous and attentive to my needs considering I was there from 8 am cause I was only getting an oil change. Since the process was long in obtaining a new care they made sure I was provided with lunch and treated as a VIP guest (which has happened since Ive been a customer in 05-06) I will continue to purchase, service and recommend Hudson Honda to everyone I know.

As a car virgin, BRING EXPERIENCE car users with you! Dealerships will always try to take as much as they can from you. Luckily my big brother and my uncle are both car fanatics and came with me.As for my experience, we found the car that i really like although it was kind of pricey. My uncle was able to negotiate a price that met on both terms. Always try to negotiate with them.The car window had a crack on the bottom left side, but it was "sealed" so we could not ask for new window. That was one flaw i did not like. However Cesar did all he could to figure out and try to help us out on getting a new window. Once i approved and confirmed everything was my liking, it was time to do paper work. Before doing paperwork, we asked to make sure there was a spare key. Cesar said there was a spare but the manager has it and the manager was at meeting. So we decided to fill out the forms first. BE PREPARED for some reason in Hudson Honda, paperwork takes a long time... We stayed in the lobby for about 2 hours before waiting to get financed by Remila, our sales consulate whos always a sweetheart. BEFORE signing all the papers we asked again for spare, but now the manager was at lunch... So we decided to head upstairs for save time and sign all the finance papers. MAKE SURE TO GET A COPY OF EACH SHEET. Remila informed us on whatever form we were signing and did provide us copies.Now after all the paperwork was done, my family and i were ready to leave. Its been almost 4 hours in Hudson Honda. We asked for the spare key, and David the manger told us there wasn't a spare key because the previous owner never handed in a spare key. My uncle and brother started getting very agitated because we waited for HOURS and now they tell us?We spoke to Cesar about it and he was more than willing to understand and wanted us to leave with a spare key. Then we spoke to David and he agreed it was fair to make us a spare key. That was another hour of waiting.. While we were waiting Cesar did everything else to make sure we were comfortable, had our papers, understood the process of leaving Hudson Honda, the process of registration and inspection. After 5 hours of being in Hudson Honda, everything will finished. We had our forms, the spare key, and ready to go and leave my new car!!Overall Hudson Honda was a good experience, kind of pricey but negotiate and call them ahead of time and make sure they have all the paperwork done so it'll be a much shorter process.I HIGHLY recommend Cesar as a sales specialist, he knows his information about cars and is willing to do whatever he can for his customers to have a good experience in Honda Hudson. Also thanks David for helping out with the spare key!another observation i noticed, it seems as if workers work as their own not as a team. while Cesar was running around helping my car and his other sales customer's car, the other sale workers were just hanging out.. Im sure they could have helped other customers even if they are not theyre sales customers

I received a call from Flora Admani about 4 months (approximately November, 2013) prior to my lease end (February, 2014) to see if I could get out of my and lease a 2014 Honda CR-V AWD EX-L or 2013 CR-V EX-L AWD. We could not reach a deal at this time after a few hours of aggravation with the sales managers. Flora called again about two weeks prior to my lease end so returned but with the same results (no deal). We did finally reached a deal 2 days prior to my lease end date with no remote starter or floor mats in the vehicle, as I requested to be thrown in because of my aggravation. That is when Flora stated that she would check Rafael a sales manager. She called me back saying it they could not throw in a remote starter. Flor went on to say "that if she threw in the remote starter, she would get fired." We finally reached a deal with no remote starter. I was suppose to come in the next night to receive the car but ended up in Garden State Honda instead. Garden State Honda gave me the deal that Hudson Honda offered with the remote starter and no hassles.

My dad took me to get a used car from Hudson Honda of West New York. The price was fair. While inquiring about the vehicle, I kept insisting that an inspection would be made on the car. My salesperson assured us the car would be inspected, and nothing would be wrong with it mechanically. My mistake for not getting everything in paper, as I will never trust a car dealership again. While we were purchasing the car, I noticed an open recall for an ignition switch and pointed it out - he assured us everything was fine once again, and swept it under the rug... About a month later I went to get an oil change and of course, you already know what happens next. This Honda dealership (Open Road of Edison) offers us to fix the recall for FREE! Like every Honda dealership should. In addition, the following problems were found with the car.- Burnt out brake light bulb- Transmission oil leak (still pending further investigation - might require a transmission rebuild or repair $$$)- Faulty starter motor- Undiagnosed squeaking noises And that's where you think it ends... Nope. The car was purchased mid-January. Temporary plates expired on February 6th, 2014. Called Hudson Honda 3 times prior to expiration, forwarding me to the "Plate People". Left 2 voicemails, never received a response. Seems like they were never working (big surprise). Finally contacted my salesperson, and told me I need to get another temporary plate. I explained that I go away to school, and asked if he could FedEx the plates to me. NOPE, told me I had to come in because they couldn't be mailed (Knew this is a lie, because when I bought an Acura they FedEx'ed plates right to my doorstep in less than 10 days after purchase). Spent a Saturday in traffic with tolls to come into the dealership to pick the 2nd temporary plates up. It is now February 23rd, and the second set of plates are due to expire on March 6th... This business is unethical and unprofessional. Worst customer service I have ever experienced. I wouldn't recommend Hudson Honda to anybody.

This is the first time my wife and I tried this dealership. Why did we decide to lease at Hudson Honda? Two words: John Colarte. He was awesome! I met John a few months ago when I started looking for a new car and stopped in just to look at the Honda line. I was going to go with a Civic or Accord but I really had my eye on a Ridgeline but thought it was out of my price range. John called me a couple of times to follow up but was not pushy like other salesmen. He told me he would try hard to do whatever it took to get me in the car I wanted and make me completely satisfied and I believed him. Sure enough, John came through like a real professional and he worked hard for me and my family to get us in the Ridgeline. You know the saying too good to be true? Well, it's exactly what happened. This site had a vehicle at a price, it was certified and the carfax shows it was certified. Upon getting to the dealer, we were promised that price before taxes and fees only to have tons of these "fees" added on PLUS an added fee to "make" this car certified. We were told to pay all this otherwise the car wouldn't be certified. A total of about $3000 extra in fees before tax! Nevertheless, it made no sense since it already was certified. The manager had no idea how else to justify these bogus fees. The salesperson couldn't even look us in the eye when this was happening. She did try to help, the manager didn't and we had to decline. Just do your research like we did before going in. It helps. Sucks that we couldn't get to an agreement. We really liked the saleswoman

Me with a 2014 Honda Odyssey EX and my husband with a 2013 Honda Accord EX. John Colarte was our sales rep and he was determined to make sure that when we left Hudson Honda it would be with two new cars and that we would be completely happy and satisfied with our decisions. We were there for quite some time but it was never an issue for us because John made sure that we were comfortable at all times. He even ordered dinner for us so that we could eat while our cars were being prepared. Everyone there was very friendly. By the time we left it felt as if we had known John for years. Having previously visited another Honda dealer where things did not go so well I would highly recommend Hudson Honda and most definitely John Colarte. If you initially aren't comfortable with the deal they are offering you, you better believe that they will work with you until you are completely satisfied and you can trust in John to get that done. They do not refund your motor vehicle fees. I have been waiting since May 5 for an $85 refund. They keep telling you that the check is in the mail. Now it's on to small claims court after a complaint with the BBB and the NJ consumer affairs dept.

Having shopped my business to approximately 8 Honda dealers for a new Accord, my first priority was PRICE! After negotiating with the various dealers, I leasesd a 2013 Accord EX-L from Hudson Honda. This is my 3rd new Accord since 2001, but it was my 1st time dealing with Hudson Honda. The staff at Hudson was very friendly and proffessional, but more important they were the most aggressively priced. I negotiated the deal directly with Hector the Sales Manager without stepping foot in their dealership until the day I picked up the vehicle. When I picked up the car I dealt with Marleny the salesperson (she knows the product well) and then Jason (explained everything in detail) proccessed my paperwork, I was out of there in short order! These 3 people made my experience very pleasant. The deal that was quoted to me was the deal I signed. The car was sitting there waiting for me when I arrived at the dealership, prepped and ready to go... No Drama! No last minute changes! Just a delivery of what was promised! Thanks for a pleasant experience!

And once John found out I didn't qualify to refinance, he worked his magic and put me in a brand new honda civic and actually paying LESS than what I was. John is a real straightforward salesperson that will tell you how it is and I felt completely comfortable with him. I would suggest anyone interested in buying a new/used car to go to him. He won't steer you wrong!

I stopped in at Hudson Honda on a Wednesday evening just to briefly look at a 2013 Odyssey, as I did not have the time to shop at that time. John Colarte immediately introduced himself and we discussed what I was interested in. Had a 2003 Ford Windstar I looking to trade-in to lease a 2013 Odyssey. I made an appointment with John for the following Friday. The reasons why I gave the above ratings is because John was fully prepared for me when I arrived. He showed me the options I had for the various Odysseys. I told him the amount of monthly lease that I was willing to pay. He worked with me for the next three hours to obtain the best pricing -- which was exactly what I was willing to pay. It was long past closing time and John stayed until all the financing paperwork was completed and signed. He then proceeded to fully demonstrat all the features in the vehicle. There really was no reason for John to stay well past closing time on a Friday night, but he did. I truly believe John went above and beyond his duties in doing this. The deal was already done and he certainly could have left as his portion of the job was done. I neglected to state that when I arrived at Hudson Honda on Friday, I had two young sons, aged 10 and 12, with me. As you can imagine, after 3 hours both bouys were getting restless. John continued to be friendly and patient with my sons throughout the night. John also called me at 10:00 am the following morning to make sure that everything was ok. Again, he went above and beyond.FYI: I am presently leasing another vehicle, a Ford Escape, which will expire 3/30/14. I have been a loyal Ford customer all my life. However, there is no doubt in my mind that I will return to Hudson Honda to lease our 2nd vehicle next year to work with John Colarte.

My wife and I were having issues with a Toyota we bought from another dealer. We found a 2009 Honda CRV on Hudson Honda's website at a price that was too hard to beat. We were aware that out chances of getting the car were slim at most- our credit isn't the best and we were only one year into our Toyota's financing... But we decided to give it a shot anyway. Luckily, we landed John Colarte as our salesman. He worked for hours on our behalf to get us out of our Corolla and not only managed to get us into the CRV we were hoping for, but into a 2011!!! The best part is that we are making almost the same monthly payments!!! I'm not sure how he did it, but he did... John Colarte was an excellent dealership. He was friendly and professional at all times. He was thorough with his explanation on the Honda Pilot features and had patience most of all (considering I took my four kids). I highly recommend John Colarte to anyone as a dealer as well as for any upcoming opportunities that may arise at Honda Pilot. However, Jason DeJEsus the financial advisor was quick at convincing me at obtaining a vehicle. But I find the price I am paying for my vehicle is high, not to mention, it took almost three weeks to obtain my license plate. Additionally, Jason DeJesus insisted on me driving with an expired temporary license plate and when I addressed the issue, his exact words was, "You are going to have to tough it up." REally? Was I suppose to tell this to a police office if I was pulled over for driving with expired license plates. So my question becomes, what is Honda or Jason DeJesus willing to do to accomodate me and make me a happy and satisfied customer? Can the cost of my lease be reduced? Five Stars all the way around in terms of customer service and all around dealership experience. Even at their busiest times and peak hours, there are people constantly walking the premises to ask if you are being helped.I went there withon Monday and cut a deal by mid week -- drove off in my brand new car today!I especially appreciate the effort Luis Santos and his supervisors made in accommodating my lack of credit. They REALLY worked on a deal with me and gave me every option there was during the entire process.This location in West New York closes at 8 PM -- and on multiple occasions Luis stayed late even after closing to get everything together for us since I got out of work late. Seriously, I've been to other dealerships in the area and if you have bad credit or no credit, sales reps would just get turned off and tell you a bunch of bull to get you to leave and work with someone else. GO HERE if you are from the area and or surrounding towns. I know a lot of people to trek all the way to Jersey City 440 for all those dealerships and honestly I've had such terrible experiences in other places there it wasn't worth the commute money and mental exhaustion.The service is speedy and competent. We just purchased a new Honda Pilot (so not an inexpensive car, of course) from this dealership. Although our initial experience with the sales process wasn't amazing, David Constant has been working with us to resolve a number of issues we had. David has been very hands-on and attentive at fixing a number of issues that occurred with our sale, including plates arriving late, after the temporary plates expired (probably had something to do with DMV as well). He also apologized for no one at the dealership calling us back re. custom installation of a sun roof and DVD player.All in all, it is apparent that they are working hard to make the sales process a better experience for future customers. We can't say whether that will happen, but if David is any indication, and if his promise to make the buying experience is true, then we can definitely recommend purchasing a car from this dealer.

Hello, I just want let people know about my recent experience at Hudson Honda. I went there because I saw a very nice car on the web page. The car was used. I test drove the car. It had the check engine light on and sales rep told me it was going to be a minor fix. I gave a deposit of the car on jan 31 2013. One week and a half went by and I did not hear from the dealer. I had to call constantly and I was told it was almost ready and this and that, next to be serviced etc.. Later I found out what happened: A customer had brought the car for a trade in, and was given a new car. then I gave the deposit for that used car . Then no loan was approved to the customer who took the new car, NOW, WHY WOULD YOU SELL THE CAR WHEN A LOAN HAS NOT BEEN APPROVED TO THE CUSTOMER WHO TRADED IN THE CAR? I asked for my deposit back and they said it was going to be 5 to 7 business days. More than 20 days went by for me to get my money refunded finally on March 5 2013. Not professional, not a call from them , and they would not answer my calls. Definitively would not recommend this dealer.

I bought a brand new honda crv-ex from this dealership in january. Part of the reason I wanted to buy this was the $300 gift card they were offering. I negotiated a very good price and the overall experience was good. The only -ve I have is that I was not given the $300 gift card as I got a good deal on the price as per the sales person. It was not in the fine print that getting a good price would negate this deal but I was too tired and didnt want to make a big fuss over it.It would have been a 5 instead of a 4 except for that one detail. I would recommend this dealership but be sure to go in fresh and not tired :)

We drove all the way from NYC to Hudson Honda to purchase two (2) 2013 Honda CRV EX AWD. They were able to match the lowest price offered to us by other Honda dealers plus they have $300 gift card for every new car purchased/leased (We're still waiting for our gift cards through mail though) Mr. Erik Castro was our salesman. On November 12, 2012, I arrived for an EXPRESS oil change and tire rotation at 10:00 am. I entered the express lane to find no one waiting and then went inside for help. I was told I would need to wait a few minutes until someone was found to give me a ticket for Service. I then waited for 10 minutes before someone came out to give me a ticket. I then met with a Service Advisor and informed him I would need an oil change and tire rotation. I asked how long it would be and he told me thirty minutes or less. Great, two and one half hours later I went to Service and asked what was going on with my car. They had to take a few minutes to find my car and then told me it would we a few more minutes. This has been an ongoing problem with the Service Department. I had to take my car in last month for a recall and was told it would take four hours. I spoke with the Service Manager and he did not seem to be concerned about the SERVICE they are providing. I leased my car from Hudson Honda and should not have to wait hours and hours for SERVICE! Hudson Honda SHAME ON YOU! I have been leasing Honda"s for a few years now and have never had the TERRIBLE SERVICE EVER that I have received from Hudson Honda! I will now be going elsewhere for my SERVICE and my LEASING! I truly believe that this Dealership DOES NOT CARE ABOUT SERVICE! Again, SHAME ON YOU!!

First and foremost dealers are all pretty much the same, they are in business to make money....but when you say one price and write another, that's not even close to the one you agree upon, than that my friend is being deceptive. So unless you read before you sign you should never have a problem. I would not recommend this dealership because they try to keep you there for 3 hours waiting and then try to rush you when you are signing papers as a ploy to throw you off. That to me is more criminal than anything else. Don't try to sell a car for 43500.00 when the msrp is 41800.00 and you tell me I'm buying it for 39000.00 (far from dumb)Bruce Halloway and Hector Vinasco know what I'm talking about.....charm will get you a smile but not my money!!!!

I should've walked out from this place when they tried to make a deal without telling us the price of my car that was traded in. They said they don't know because they're not allowed to know??? does that make sense?? making deal without knowing how much my car cost?? it turned out that cost of my car was higher than they estimated (they didn't tell us the price until the end, i saw the number on the paper on his desk and that's how they admitted it was the cost of the car) and of course they made the deal based on their estimation already pretending they've made the best deal for us. i ended up buying it anyhow but i'm regretting so much about it. I would not recommend this place to anyone I know ever.

Due to milage I went there for a major tune up on my vehicle. $1250.00 for changing timing belt, water pump, tensioner, valve adjustment etc. 2 days later I drive the car and I realize the car is flowing oil big time! I almost run the engine dry! They busted one of the seals. Next day I call they are sending a trailer to pick up my car. They promise 8 am the trailer is not there until 11 am.

My sales rep was John Colart and he was very helpful. He explained everything in detail and if he couldn't he wasn't afraid to ask for help. He worked with my fiance's and I's budget to get us the best deal he could. Very friendly, and wasn't like most sales man in the sense that he wasn't pushy and let me and my fiance talk things out. From the minute we walked into the dealership, the staff was kind and curteous. Remila was very knowledgable about all the cars they had on the lot and had a great deal of patience explaining our options to us. Hudson Honda had a large selection of both new and used cars. I moved recently and was doing all servicing through another car dealer and went to get my car serviced at Hudson Honda. I had changed all 4 brake pads about 2000 miles ago and I dont drive my car much as I take public transportation to work. When I went for my regular oil change, this horrible car dealership took not only 1 hr and 20 minutes for a regular oil change even when I had made an appointment; he comes and tells me that my car needs brake pads replaced along with new rotors right away, otherwise I cannot drive my car in the current condition. We are talking about a car which was driven very carefully for about 45000 miles. I decided to go back to the original dealer which was far away and showed him Hudson Honda's review. Guess what, Hudson Honda just looked at my previous service records at their dealership and had just recommended thinking that I can be fooled into things like that. Would I recommend this dealership, not in a million years.

In 2011 I bought a maintence plan for my car . I was told everything was covered . I went to get brakes on my car I find out Rich Willis switched my contract From maintence to extended service . When confronted he lied and disrespected me . Others took me in the back room an pretty much told me there was no way I could remember what was discussed at the time of sale . I wanted to leave they refused to give me something in writting detailing the specs of this plan I was tricked into buying . I was there from 12:30 until 5:08 pm and they denied service to my car I was shaking so much from anxiety . Then the general manger came around saying take my card your car was serviced the cashier up front stated no service was performed I went in the green key box took my key and forced my way out !!!! I had never leased a car before but he went over the details and explained everything to me. He didn't seem frustrated with all the questions we had and he went above and beyond in customer service. The salesman I worked with was Lenny Willis. He was very courteous, well informed and went out of his way to work with me and get me the car I wanted at the right price. I got inmediately response from Andrea when I sent the information I inquire about, she contacted me via e-mail the whole time because it was easy to get to me that way but she called a couple of times to make sure everything was okay. Got the price I was looking for through her and her manager Steve and once we got to the dealership they greet me and gave me the same exact price without any tricks to it. Marleny was my sales person and she was outstanding, she showed me the car and test drive it and i loved it! Signed all my paper work and now here I am with my new 2012 Honda Accord. This is THE WORST retail store I have ever been to, including all types of retail. This place is beyond pathetic. The only reason I bought a car here was because I specifically wanted a Honda Civic Hybrid and there was a used recent model with low mileage. Otherwise I would have stepped in there and left within 20 minutes. So, unless you find a specific used car you can't find anywhere else DON'T GO THERE!!!!!!!!!!!The salespeople do not know anything about what they are selling, they are disrespectful and immature. Ramila was my salesperson and she knew NOTHING about hybrids, yet pretended that the basic information was substantial. She had no sales skills and almost put me to sleep when talking. She did not seem interested in the sale at all...almost like I was wasting her time even though I was buying a CAR for almost $20,000!!! Seriously people, wake up or get some training or respect. The day I bought the car I was there for 4 hours. The day I picked up the car I waited for 2 hours when there was NO ONE THERE and all the salespeople were gossiping and joking with each other behind the counter. They had not even washed the car and the gas tank was empty. The guy who took my signature for the contract did not even give me a copy and when we asked for one he said he couldn't give it to me because he already put it with my check in the safe!!?? The day I went to get the plates I waited for 1.5 hours when there was also NO ONE THERE. The guy who put on my plates just went and did it without telling me and didn't tell me he was finished...and of course littered the paper parts on the ground. Ramila, my salesperson, told me she had the extra key and the owners manual but she wasn't there that day and not even the manager could find them. He said he'd tell her to mail them to me. I called her two times and left messages the following week to make sure she would and she NEVER called me back.

I have purchased other vehicles in the past with Yirko. I always feel as if I am part of his family. No matter what he is doing he always manages to come over and say hello with a great smile and a big hug. I don't have the best credit and was told they would work with me and they did. Yirko took his time explaining all of the details. He made sure that if the paper work took long he apologized and reassured me it would take a little bit longer. Everyone in the show room was very friendly. I was offered something to drink and dunkin donuts. The young man upstairs that processed the paper work was also very efficient and explained everything I was signing. I would definitley recommend and go to this show room again.

I had a bad experience working with Hudson Honda. Bottom line: find out all of the dealer fees as soon as possible in the negotiation process. I was quoted what seemed like a good deal on a new CRV. I asked about the dealer fees and was told I would receive an email the following day with the fees (thankfully I had not signed anything at this point or left a deposit). The dealer fees added $2,100 to the quoted price - and that figure didn't even include the taxes! $700 for key replacement and fabric protection (don't need it, never asked for it); $350 documentation fee (only $200 doc fee at the dealer we ended up buying from); $235 for plate TRANSFER (actual transfer cost from NJ DMV is $135 for the vehicle we were interested in; dealership we ended up buying from charged $135 - check made out directly to NJ, not the dealership); $810 destination fee (destination fee built into quote at other dealership). After I responded to the email stating that the steep fees made the quoted price no longer acceptable, I never received a response from the sales associate. We ended up buying at another dealership who quoted all dealer fees upfront and we paid the quoted price. I received a call several days later from a Hudson Honda manager asking how the sales experience went. Apparently the sales associate never told the manager that the deal never went through. The manager offered an apology, but no explanation for the fees and simply said he would speak with the associate. I actually had a good initial experience with the sales associate who was very friendly, personable, and knowledgeable about the vehicle and explained everything very well during the test drive. This may have been just a bad experience that I had because I see many positive reviews on this website. My advice is get the out-the-door price right away so that there are no surprises. Also, we came to the dealership twice and both times were there for several hours, much of the time spent sitting alone at a table or in a sales office waiting around for the associate to run numbers, or speak with a manager, etc. Bring a good book with you.

I bought a used 2011 Toyota Sienna from Hudson Honda. I worked with Bryan Lara on the trade-in of my current vehicle. Bryan was very friendly and explained the process from start to finish. They honored my existing cars value on Kelley Blue book so you did not get that feeling of the "shady car salesmen" trying to rip you off. I researched the Toyota Sienna before I bought it. I knew the internet price they offered was a great deal. I was impressed with the level of knowledge Bryan had with a vehicle that was not made by Honda. After I purchased the vehicle that night I accidently left without my license or EZ Pass. Bryan called me to let me know. He also knew I was over an hours drive from the dealership so he overnighted my license and EZ Pass back to me. There attention to detail and customer satisfaction was an important factor in the purchase of my vehicle. I would recommend Hudson to anyone looking to purchase a new or used vehicle!!!

I leased honda accord a few years ago from Hudson Honda and when i decided to purchase a new vehicle after the lease was over, i visited hapf dozen dealers from hyundai to honda, but eventually ended up buying again from Hudson Honda. I went to DCH Paramus and Tenafly Kia to shop for a vehicle, but The experience i had wan't as good as the Hudson Honda. Yirko was a very friendly sales rep from the momment we came into the dealership through the very end. He was very patient and was willing to take his time with every single car we inquired about. He was not pushy at any point, instead gave you his advice and personal knowledge regarding cars. I called the dealership after i got into an accident. I spoke with Steve who was very patient with me becausse i can't ever make a decision. He sent me quotes on Accords, Civics, and CR-V's. he called me to confirm i got it after each one and I kept requesting another car. He never seemed frustrated with my lack of decision making, he was nice knowledgeable and professional the while time. He even checked to see if there were car's in stock with my exact needs. When I came in he sat me down with Henry who was brought up to speed by steve so he knew what I was going through. Henry sat me in each car and let me test drive them. I finally decided on an Accord. Henry seems to me to be the best salesman anyone could go to. He isn't out to make a quick buck he wants to go above and beyond!! I know I could have gotten a price and car at any honda but after dealing with these 2 I won't go anywhere else or let my family think about going anywhere else. I am confident I got a good price on the car, yes it was slightly more expensive then I thought but for the way I was treated I'd pay it again!! THANK YOU HENRY AND STEVE AND HUDSON HONDA!!

I leased my previous vehicle from another dealership in New Jersey 3 years ago. My lease was up last month so I went back to them to see what my options were. After everything was said and done I was lied to about 4 times and walked out. I then called Hudson Honda and spoke with Karen. She was a very sweet lady and made me feel alot better. I explained everything that happened to me at the other Honda Dealer and she expressed how bad she felt and how that would never happen at Hudson. Karen then placed me on the phone with her Manager Rich who promised me there were not going to be any hidden fees or sneaky bait and switch trys. When I got there I met with Rich and he introduced me to the sales consultant Bryan. He had the exact vehicle cleaned and ready for me to test drive. At the other dealer I waited over 2 hours just because it was "being cleaned". After Bryan explained all the features on the vehicle I went to the office and signed the contracts with Mr. Jimenez (who was very professional and easy going) and just as Rich PROMISED - No GAMES! I then got into my NEW 2012 Honda Accord and before I left was Introduced to another manager named Hector. He just wanted to make sure that my experience with Hudson Honda was PERFECT. All I can say is I will refer anyone I know there because I can feel comfortable knowing there will be no problems. 2 Thumbs up for HUDSON HONDA! See you guys soon!

I called into Hudson Honda earlier this week and spoke to Steve Cammarota in the Internet department. He was extremely helpful and really educated me on the different aspects of the vehicle. Eventually, Steve put his manager Richie on the phone. Mr. Willis also made the process much easier for me. He assured me that there we no games or hidden fees like you find at alot of other nearby dealers. Of course, when I finally visited the dealership, I got the exact price I was originally quoted. I met with Richie who linked me with one of his salesmen, Mark. Mark had the vehicle all ready for me and very kindly explained every detail of my buying experience to me. I also met the other managers, gene and Eric. Every single person at this dealership was respectful and kind and made me feel right at home. Ok my reason to visit HH was to look at a BMW 7series.The reason to mention that is I felt that that kind of car demands a level of professionalism and the team at HH was able to do that. Let me explain the first call I made to the dealership I had a little trouble getting to talk to someone.But Flora called me back and was very quick to put out any fires to the point that I was willing to reroute 400 miles out of my way to look at the car of interest.From that point on I had people help me park,find Flora,Chris, see the car, make a deal and with Chris who am sure is very busy but gave me his time no pressure AND no deposit with a 2 day window to think my decision over. Tell me were you get that.!!! Another thing I should mention is my wife & I are from Canada so to get out of New Jersy was a chore to say the least & agian HH was there to get Mark to take a car and follow him out to the interstate. Sound like a place you would buy from or send a friend?? This whole experience was more of an adventure because a short time later my 2 sons and I flew down to NJ and brought the car home.My 2 sons whom are in their twentys were very skeptical about what I told them about HH But again their team was at the airport {Ralph}to pick us up when we got back to the dealership, the car was very clean even had cones around it so it would not get marked.There, Flora, Chris and then his secretary looked after every thing.Being from out of country there is alot of extra paperwork like trip permits out of stste tax, boarder paper work that was all looked after. Without Fran perserverance some of it might not have gotten done.When I read about some peoples experiences at HH, I had to wonder if I was at the same place.These guys even had Fabio take us Down to the ferry and pick us up 3hrs later while they finished up the paper wok, and again Fabio stayed to take us back out to the intersate.The story doesn't end yet the next day Chis called to see if everything was ok and how the car worked although I think he really wanted to know if had washed it yet. Again thanks so much for the great job ,keep up the big time effort HH team PS if any of you ever get to Canada I would glad to recipricate the same hospitality. Cheers Brad Griffin & family!!

Avoid this place at all costs. It is a disgrace to Honda brand that this place operates under the brand name to deceive customers. Online deals posted on their website are meant to bring in people to the stores and somehow all their cars posted online were sold by the time we came to check them out. We enquired about their availability before coming in and they said they were available. When we came to the store next day, they said they were gone. Salesman lied about existing used cars, including the model and features. They took an hour to get the carfax report and we had to wait for half an hour to get any response. Do NOT believe what they advertise on website and do NOT waste your time visiting this place.

The sales person I worked with was named Javier, last name I believe was Lopez. He was the most friendly sales associate I've ever had the pleasure of working with in any industry. He helped me with a ride from the airport, offered to buy me a sandwich because I hadn't eaten lunch. He followed up with a phone call a few days after the sale, and all of this for a used vehicle! The sales manager was nice as well. They were a no nonsense, easy to deal with group and would recommend them to anyone, especially Javier!

My experience with purchasing a car from Hudson Honda, all around was great.I believe that the whole team, and Marlon was 100% the reason why my final decision in purchasing a new car was a Honda. He is very knowledgeable of the product, kind and a very accommodating/patient person. I was undecided about the 6 or 4 cylinder, drove him crazy and he never made me feel uncomfortable. He is very approachable with any concerns you have and goes out of his way to accommodate you. He said "I am here to help you to make the right decision so i can have you coming back for more". Now isn't that nice? It was clear to me that he cared very much about ME and making me happy. when I picked up my car he went over everything with me before I drove away. I can't say enough about him.I know I can call him if I have any problems. He is an asset to the organization. When I service my car I will be looking forward to seeing him. I feel they recommend a LOT of unnecessary work that I unfortunately later realized (from talking to people/internet) after they've done the work. Plus, they're workmanship is shoddy. Make sure you DOUBLE check their work after you've gone there. I've caught them making potentially costly mistakes. Be sure you are familiar with Honda's maintenance schedule because they also try to hook you with services before they're due.Nice guys though!

This is a note I sent to the dealer.To whom it may concern,I just wanted to write you and let you know my entire experience at Hudson Honda has been bad from the get go. If I ever buy another Honda or have a friend interested in a Honda I will not recommend your dealership.Lets start with the day I purchased my Honda FIT. It was a the height of the financial crisis and most car dealers were willing to do anything to get a sale done. My sales person did not even want to budge on the sticker price. This was all after I spent some time with the finance person who gave me a terrible rate. Mind you my credit score was a 815 and the best he could do was a 7.99% rate. I can imagine the guy made 3-4 points on me. I was never given the truth in lending form all he did was show me his computer screen. This is a gimmick all lenders use. They are never willing to show you the point they are making on the loan.Back down to the sales room the sales guy still would not budge on sticker. It wasn't until I walked out he ran out after me an he lowered the price by $800. I was desperate for a car and I think he sensed it. It is a shame how dealers prey on people in need.Any how after nearly 6 hours of being at the dealership I go off in my new Honda FIT.I decided to let Hudson Honda do my routine maintenance like oil changes etc. Every time I go they push some other service on me. Which I for the most part have them do.Finally today I brought my car in today because my low tire pressure light went on over the weekend. When I gauged the tires all seemed normal so I believed the issue to be with the computer or the sensors. My car is still under warranty but I was told if the issue was as simple as my tires needing to be filled to correct the problem I would be charged for 1hour worth of work which would have been nearly $100.Needless to say I will never be back for service or to purchase another car. I will be posting this on dealerrater.com with hopes of deterring good people from your bad dealership.

In all the years that I have dealt with car dealerships I have never encountered the professionalism, knowledge of their product and positive customer service that I had in Hudson Honda. The receptionist, Lisa, is a fantastic, vivacious and people-oriented individual who upon my 2nd visit to the dealership actually remembered my name after only few words with me on my original visit. Then there is Johnny! A true gentleman, who's very profesional,and effortlessly and painlessly guides you through the entire process without the usual stress of other dealerships. Thank you! Johnny.When I opted for Navigation in the car, I did not understand its complexity, however, I was lucky enough to have Aaron give me a "lesson" on the many applications of Navigation. Had I not bought the navigation and had Aaron explained the navigation system to me, he would have sold me on it! Such is his expertise! A few days after I got my new CRV I had to go to the service dept. to have several options I purchased, installed and that's where I met Fred. Again, Friendly, informative and helpful, another asset to your dealership. Here I also dealt with Fabio who was the person who drove me home upon leaving my vehicle. What a nice person and so courteous. There was not one person either in the showroom or in the service that did not greet me upon passing by me! You have a fantastic dealership & I sing your praises, as well as, recommend all my friends your way! Bravo!

I always got my car serviced here even though it is not the closest location from my house due to the positive experience. I highly recommend this dealership for any Honda buyer. I have been working with this dealership for over four years. I purchased my first leased vehicle from Henry and just last year purchased my second leased vehicle from him as well. He was very helpful and efficient while processing my paperwork. In addition, I have also interacted with Johnny for my purchases as well. He is very knowledgeable on the dealership and Honda vehicles. Also, I have used the service center multiple times and in fact only get service on my car at this location. This dealership is one of a kind. Great sense of humar reps and staff. Very family like and great atmosphere. After long online search I found Hudson Honda to be the best with honesty. They gave me the real price right from the beginning with their internet dept (Doris) and Manager (Mia) helped me to get the best price. Once i got to the showroom my car was ready to be shown and it even had a reserve sign on it. Made me feel special!. The sales rep (Jimmy), and Managers (Jason) were awesome and their Finance manager (Mel) answered everything I asked questions about and made sure I understood everything. I am SO glad I live close to this dealership or I wouldn't even have considered coming here. However, after visiting the sleazes at DCH Paramus, I wanted to find another dealer so that I wouldn't have to give DCH my money (they're a big dealer and so can afford to sell their cars for cheaper than smaller dealerships). Danny McHugh was my sales rep, and he did everything to make sure I got my concerns answered and accommodated me in what ended up being a 4 hour deal in buying the car. I have a tendency to do things very thoroughly, and wanted to make sure I didn't get ripped off. But even in the 4 hour ordeal, he sat by me and made sure I got a very good price with very good answers.The pigs at Paramus only sat there patronizing me, and it was so liberating to have Danny and everyone else at the dealership accommodate me according to my needs, not theirs.I can't rave enough, if I could give it 10 stars I would!! Do yourself a favor and stop in at this dealership, you'll walk out with a brand new car and a smile on your face knowing you got a GREAT deal and SUPERB service.

I had very good experience at the Hudson Honda. The salespersons found ways to make me happy and satisfied with my choice by reducing the price. They cleaned the car and Henry Marcado was explaining me well about the features of interior and exterior car, which I appreciate to know more about the car. Beware of this dealership. The salespeople here are extremely unprofessional and dishonest. During my 3 hours negotiation, other salespeople were chatting about how some girl's "ass was fine" and wanted to "hit it". Seriously, these are their exact words. The car I came to see that I saw online was not at the dealership because it was already sold. Classic bait and switch. Salesperson showed me another car priced $5k more than the other. Also, they tried to add on an additional charge to make it "certified". This is their M.O., because they know you don't have all the info about the car they're trying to sell you. I was given the Carfax that was printed out 3 months earlier, because the updated version said it was certified already. So basically, they just want you to pay extra for their so-called certification when the car is already certified at the original asking price.Also, they tried to tell me that I could take the car off the lot right away because there is temporary insurance on it! Never heard of that in my life. DO NOT EVER TAKE THE CAR OFF THE LOT BEFORE YOU PUT INSURANCE ON IT!I asked for the certification report on tha car, and they promised me it was certified. As if that was sufficient. Does anybody ever take the word of a car salesman seriously? DON'T! GET EVERYTHING IN WRITING because that's the only thing that'll stand up in court. I know this because I am an attorney. DO NOT LEAVE A DEPOSIT on a car to reserve it! This is what this dealership tries to do to get you coming back and eventually feel obligated to buy a car from them. I came back a few days later to talk to my salesperson, and the car that I originally came in for was sitting on the lot!! Salesperson tried to tell me it was not the same car. However, I had all my paperwork and the VIN was exactly the same. Visiting this place was a complete waste of time. I ended up buying a Toyota for a great deal, and it took less than 1 hour.

Xavier is the man. I went to 19 dealerships and he gave me the best deal. He is da man!! The sales rep when I got there was a bit slow and more concerned about ordering his dinner than helping me, but Xavier recognized how his sales rep was being lazy and shook him up a bit. Xavier should get rid of that guy. Besides the unhappy andmiserable sales rep, he and the rest of the team was awesome. I would recommend them to anyone... Horrible tricks they play. They will quote you an attractive price and then add hidden fees charges and what not (even thought they will tell you that there won't be any "extra" charges). Don't be fooled by the positive reviews here, they are probably being written somewhere in their back office by a sleazy salesman. We walked away from the deal because of their dishonest practice. Jhonny Rivas is a a cheap guy who himself can not afford a brand new car and has the nerve to make fun of my 2006 Nissan, yeah right.

I must say that my experience did not start out real well. Mainly because I was in a bad mood from dealing with other dealers. However, once I met Xavier Salazar and then Daniel McHugh, things turned around rapidly. I was shopping for a few weeks via internet, phone and in person. I even had a "guaranteed" lowest price certificate via the NEA. Hudson Honda beat the price by $500.00. I was also having a difficult time between my bank and the dealer. Xavier & Danny actually got be a better interest rate, did the entire deal in house and I got delivery immediately! They even got me plates because I was taking the car to Delaware. This was a gift for my daughter (surprise) and due to the hard work of both of those people, I got a gift that a parent will always remember, making their child happy. Thanks to Xavier and Danny for a fantastic job!

I asked for a quote from Hudson Honda and they pressured me to send the quotes i received from other dealers so that They could give me the best Price. I did send them quote and they offerd a good deal. I go into their showroom and ask for price that we will be paying to Aron Varela and Miosotty Martinez, we are promised again that whatever is quoted and there will be no extra fees, after being there for 3 hrs at 11 pm we are given a price which is 750 more and we are told its the price taht other dealer quoted you and we are matching the price. We were so tired and frustrated and we gave in at 11:30. But we feel really manepulated and cheated.They dont have any ethics and principles.When I showed them the qoute from Miosotty Martinez,to Aron Varela he had no idea what that 750 was added( which weas not in the quote)and when he went upto them The gneral manager Johnny Rivas I was shown the quote I sent them from another dealer,and they included their fine prints price as well.I dont recommend any one to do business with them. When we spenging $17,000 an add up of 700 is not what we care but they way they do the deals.It is not the matter of money it is the Ethics and princilpes they lack.

I have an Accord and a Pilot both purchase from Hudson Honda. I had no problem with the salespeople. Friendly, courteous, and work with you to get the sale done in a comfortable manner. I deal with Favio Rivas (don't know if there is an Arturo there...may have been a typo in the last review).....Favio puts TLC into everything he does and makes you feel like your car is going to get the work it truly needs at an affordable price. I never felt like I was getting ripped off going in there. These guys know how to run a business!

I recently visited Hudson County Honda in West New York New Jersey. I had heard a great deal of recommendations from my friends to go there because they are so loyal and honest. I live in South Jersey so I traveled over two hours up north to get there and let me tell you they could not have been more correct. I recently just had to turn in my 1998 Honda Civic as it had over 200,000 miles on it!!! I loved the car but it was time to part with it. Being such a fan of Honda and hearing about this great dealership I had to go in and see if I would be able to replace my older model with a brand new civic. When I walked in I was greeted immediately by Aron. He was a very friendly, kind, and helpful associate. I was a little nervous going into the dealership being a female and by myself because I have heard the horror stories. However, Aron was nothing but professional and extremely helpful. He should me the new models of the civic and I fell in love, I told Aron of my budget, being a college student the recently graduated I had to stay within a certain budget and he had no problem helping me with that. Aron answered all my questions and had me test drive the car. It was perfect for me, when I decided this was the car for me we got into the paper work. This is when I met the General Manager Johhny Rivas. Johhny was yet again another member of the team who was extremely helpful and compassionate towards me and my needs. Everything got done in a timely manner and I could not have been more pleased with this dealership or its staff. I highly recommend Hudson County Honda to everybody, you can't go wrong. My old civic lasted eleven years and I know this one is going to be just ass great, I couldn't be happier!!

I purchased a Honda Pilot from Hudson Honda and was more pleased with the service I received. Aron Varela was my sales person and he was more than knowledgable. He was friendly and down to earth. It felt like I was talking to a close friend. He didn't make me feel like I was being screwed into a sale and worked very well to meet my pricing needs. The manager Johnny Rivas was helpful and answered any questions that I had. Whenever I call there with a question he always takes my calls and seems happy to help. I bring the Pilot in for servicing (i.e. oil change) and Arturo Rivas is extremely helpful and makes sure that the service is done correctly and quickly. I have referred a few friends to Hudson Honda and none have been disappointed. When you go their they treat you like family!

My husband and I both got our cars from Hudson Honda. It doesn't matter if you are buying a Honda or a used car of a different make, they treat you exactly the same regardless of what you are buying. We have gone back numerous times for maintenance and to have some work done after accidents. The customer service is incredible. We have had a wonderful experience with all of the workers there. We always go and see Johnny Rivas because from the first car my husband bought from him he made him feel like a friend. The personal care he invests and the professionalism is like no other. I would even go as far to say that we wouldn't purchase a vehicle from anyone else just because of the level of trust we have with Johnny in particular but also with the dealership itself. We have sent many family members and friends to Hudson Honda and they have had the same experience we had. An overall Wonderful experience with Hudson Honda and its workers.

I just want to say that FINALLY there is an honest car dealership around that there sole intent IS NOT to screw the consumer. At Hudson County Honda in West New York New Jersey, I was very fortunate to meet the GM Johhny Rivas. Johnny was right away an extremely friendly, helpful, and easy to talk manager. There was no rush to get a deal done, no throwing a million numbers out there to try and confuse you, no smoke screens. Just honesty and genuine concern. When I told Johhny of my budget he said no problem and he put me right away with his sales associate Yirko. Yirko was just as helpful, NEVER pushing for a higher model, a bigger sale, just trying to help me get the most for my money and within my means. He was not intimidating as some car salesmen could be, he was very patient, and he worked out a great deal for me and even got me a higher model Honda Accord that was still somehow in my price range. I now drive around in a brand new Honda Accord EX-L coupe and I LOVE IT. The car is sporty, safe, and must of all affordable! I could not be happier with Mr. Rivas and his team, if anybody is in the market to buy/lease a new or pre-owned vehicle Hudson County Honda is the place to go, you will be treated with respect and honesty. Not too many dealerships can make that claim. From the moment you walk in the door, to the test drives, your questions, to the paper work, it is a pleasant experience and I would recommend Hudson County Honda to all of my family and friends.

Tonight I went to Hudson Honda looking for a V6 Accord EX-L. I said right off the bat that I was already approved through my credit union. The sales guy was pushing for my husband to try to apply...Anyway long story short I was trying to negotiate the price with the Sales Person, and he came back with a higher price than I wanted (obviously the operative word here is NEGOTIATION)...anyway when I threw out a price that I believed to be fair to begin with Dan said that V6 Accord EX-L was "TOO MUCH CAR FOR ME"!!!!!!....Mind you I pulled up to the dealership in a 2009 BMW X5!!!!!!! Are they serious?! What kind of circus are they running there? This would have been my 4th car purchased at this dealership but I have to say that the service has been getting worse and worse every time i go there. I guess the only real reason I have gone there was because it's 5 blocks away from where I live. This dealership is completely mismanaged and is in desperate need of serious sales people. DO NOT GO HERE!!!!!Update:I went to ParkAve Acura, and I got a GREAT deal with a new car from Troy Dawson. He's is extremely professional and honest. ParkAve Acura does not play with your pricing. They do not go back and forth with their managers that hide behind the desk. The sales guys work out the deals. No hassel! ParkAve Acura are true Sales Professionals!!!

My brother purchased a used car and the only reason he bought it from them was because it was the car with the exact features that he wanted. Jose Gonell (manager) was a real jerk.He thought that we didn't speak English and when he was asked if he was helping us, he said that he wasn't going to waste his time. Not only did he say that, but at the time of picking up the car, Jose told my brother that he had lost too much money on the deal and that he wasn't going to fix the bumper.(The bumper was to be fixed as part of the deal.) If you want to have a good experience when buying or leasing a vehicle, please do not go to Hudson Honda. They are liars and not professional at all. There are many Honda Dealers in NJ so think about it twice before visiting Hudson Honda.

We were in to buy a new Honda Civic and dealt with Henry. We were apprehensive as we had bad experiences with salesman at other dealerships. But, Henry was very friendly and not at all pushy. He did not haggle over the price as Hudson was charging me what they quoted over the phone. The process was very fluid with no interruptions. The finance guy (Eric) was great as he did not try and add additonal fees or push us into buying extended warranty. In all, our experience was amazing and kind of hard to beleieve. We have been looking for past three weeks and had met with a couple of dealers before, who promised a certain price over the phone and let us down later. I strongly reccomend working with Henry, because he made our buying experience so stress-free, with his good sense of humor. Also, reccomend the dealership, because they were the only one (in about 5 we visited) that kept to their word, in terms of price.

Completely unprofessional.After receiving a quote, we decided to go with them in purchasing a honda. We had no followup after the quote and when they FINALLY responded, Hudson Honda said that they had the car we were looking for in stock. It was a lie. They did not return any calls promptly after trying to contact them NUMEROUS times and by the time we finally got in touch with them, they didn't even have the model we were looking for! Not only that, but the sales person then yelled at my wife over the phone in frustration! If you are reading this, please reconsider purchasing a vehicle from this dealer. I will gladly pay extra and give another dealership business.

Good afternoon Mr. Tropiano, I am writing to let you know that I have been a customer of Hudson Honda for many years and always receive great customer service when I go to your dealership for regular maintenance or any other vehicle related needs but the level of service that was displayed by Oscar Morejon about 1 month ago, totally exceeded my expectations. I recently decided to finance my 2006 leased Honda Pilot and subsequently was told that I needed to come in to pick up my new license plates in approximately 1 week. Due to my own oversight, I neglected to apply the temporary plate to my back window. I was on my way to work and was pulled over by a police officer because the plates on my vehicle did not match the records on file. I immediately called Hudson Honda hoping that my new plates had arrived otherwise my vehicle was going to be towed. The receptionist transferred me to Oscar and I explained the urgency of my situation and asked him if he could possibly deliver my new plates since I could not leave the scene. Oscar understood and reacted immediately. He arrived within about 10 minutes and came prepared with tools to remove my old plates and install the new ones! I was let off with a warning from the officer and more importantly I did not get towed! Oscar was a true life saver for me that day and I can't express the level of gratitude that I have for his actions. In this day and age (not to mention Market conditions) good customer is difficult to find and plays a critical part for any business. I have managed Call Centers for many years and understand the importance of employees that go above and beyond the call of duty and Oscar most definitely did that! Employees like Oscar really make a lasting impression on customers like me and I have shared this story with all my family and friends. Please thank Oscar again for helping me in a desperate situation that was caused by my own negligence. He is an asset to your organization and should be commended for his diligence and dedication. To General Manager Chris Tropiano or anyone that can change this hell hole:First i want to say that I do not recommend anyone go to Hudson Honda to buy any vehicle. I was at your store on Monday and i must say I was disgusted in the customer service or better yet the lack of customer that was provided at your dealership. I was walking around outside for about 15 min. looking at the used cars and not once was I acknowledged by anyone there. I did see two Honda employees but they pretended they didn't see me and walked back inside the building. I guess they only work indoors. I entered the building and i wasn't sure if I was in a restaurant or a club. It smelled like food in the show room and I heard music playing loudly. Wasn't sure if it was over the intercom or they had a radio behind the desk. I did see two guys sitting at the big desk by the window. Both of them looked up at me but both put there heads back down further making my experience horrible. I began to walk around the showroom looking at the cars there. A sales rep walked in my direction but not once did he ask if I needed any help or anything. In reality even if he were to have asked me i would have been scared to get any help from him because he looked like a slob with his shirt hanging out and his whole demeanor. I also noticed that the cars in the showroom were all dirty. If i wanted to see dirty cars i would have gone to a junk yard. I attempted to look for a receptionist but once again i had no luck in finding any receptionist. Im not even sure if your store has one. I asked one of the sales reps that were sitting at a desk by himself if i could be helped and he responded with "give me one minute" and went to the other side by the exit doors and I saw him joking with other employees there. I must say im really disgusted with the lack of customer service that is provided in Hudson Honda and I will surely tell my friends and family to never buy a car from here. I have received more attention walking into the projects in Jersey City then i did in Hudson Honda. As the Manager of Honda I suggest you get new employees to work in the show room that have some sense of customer service. Im really surprised that anyone would want to buy a car from here. It feels more like a hang out for the sales reps than a workplace from what I saw in my 40 minutes wandering around. Now I know why i've heard in the past to stay away from Hudson Honda!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I went with my sister and the car was on sale and in the end she wound up paying much more than the sticker price with the bogus addons! example: serial # etching on the window for $700! The serial # was already put on in the manufacturing plant! I didn't ask for the etching! That is part of the price of the car. That is like saying it comes with four doors and you have to pay for the doors! $550 for it to be certified and it was advertised as a certified vehicle! Also my sister has excellent credit and they gave her a 9% interest rate and told us that because the car was listed so low they had to make up the difference so they get a kick back from the bank! Why is it my sisters fault that they undersold the car!! Fortunatley my sister got my her money back because she called the head Honda office in California. It should have not happened in the first place. The manager was the worst! I asked him for his name and he started to give me the name of the guy sitting next to him and then laughed and gave me his real name. Very unproffesional and childish. The only person who was good to us was Shaun the salesman who showed us the car. He came out with a rag and washed the water marks off the car. He didn't need to do that, that wasn't his job, but he did it anyway. I wish he would leave that dealership and go to another because I would send everyone to him just because he took that extra step.

Hudson Honda sucks.This was my 1st time buying a New car here in the US, but I was used to Dealers, and their tricks because I had bought a used car at an awful dealer in FL.The first thing the guy asked me when I sat down, was "can you please sign this first?" of course i said no, but he was still persistent while we were negotiating, when I got to the point where i was going to sign it, he wanted to charge me for keys, which I would never use, for the destination fees(which were already included in the price he had given me over the internet) and some other fees for thos and that.I walked out, and he came running afetr me, and took off the charges, but then, I still wouldn't sign the paper untill I talked to the financial guy......well, my credit score was great, around that time it was 714 I believe, and well, he gave me a 13% APR.Your joking right...No, I am not, 13%APR, because he said "YOUR CREDIT IS NOT THAT GOOD!" that was an outrage, completely, he siad, if I wanted a good APR, I had to have a credit of 800, really??I will never ever again talk about the hoooooooorrribl service at this dealer, THIS DEALER MIGHT SEEM LIKE ONE OF THE BEST, BUT ITS ONE OF THE WORST, THEY PLAY DIRTY TRICKS ON YOU, AND THEN LIE TO YOU. STAY AWAY FROM THIS DEALER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This place is a waste of your time. We went to look at cars after seeing great prices on the internet. After test driving the car we negotiated on price. They told us they couldn't go below their internet price because the price listed was what it cost them to buy the car. Then the car which said certified online became "certifiable" for extra money. Then when we negotiated back to what the internet said, they tried to add $1000 back on in fees. Then after we negotiated to have those fees removed we waited for financing. The financing had jacked the price right back up. The rate changed and worse. We had agrees to 14800 including taxes and fees yet the paperwork said 16,500. So we left. They wasted hours and hours of our time.

DON'T WALK, RUN FROM THIS DEALERSHIP. I was sent an email price by their internet sales manager and then called him and asked him what it included. He then confimred the price and rest of the fees and they would just include motor vehicle registration Doc Fees, Tire Fees, and taxes. There would be no destination fee. I then sent him an email that detailed our conversation for the price of the car and all the fees that would be charged. I told him I would come down to do the deal.When I get there they put me with one of there salesperson. I then told him the price I had been quoted. Then someone who says he is the manager comes by and has a copy of the emails that were exchanged and says the price was a mistake. I said "how can it be a mistake you have it right in your emails." He then said the person who gave me that price had no authority to waive destination fee. But then later admitted that he only gave us the lowball price to get us in there. I then told him how upset I was that I was decieved and wasted my time coming down there. This manager then told me he would honor the price if we also bought the Millenium Package. This was an additional five hundred dollar to protect the seats in the car. I told him "no Thanks" and started to walk out. He then said he would meet me half way. At this point I just left as I did not want to do business with this sleazy dealership.

Please do yourself a favor and stay away from these bunch of jokers. All the "positive" reviews are from their sales guys. Who posts all finance deals they have and says that the "deals won't last, hurry in"? Yeah right.The poor salesman who sits at the counter, makes commission money and drives a beat up car himself, made fun of my trade-in (an 05 car worth over 10K).The sales guy gave us a quote and two days later, he wouldn't honor that. Horrible, horrible, horrible customer service. All of them think that they are millionares and look down upon customers who are probably better off than most of these workers.Stay away, unless you want to be joked about and made fun of.

On July 9, 2008, I was quoted a lease price of $395.95 per month (including tax) based on a selling price of a 2008 Honda Civic Hybrid of $23,270 + 8.375% New York state tax = $25,218.86 and no money down. I was required to put down a deposit of 1 month payment of $395.95 + $199 document fee + $187.50 license & registration fee for NY state = $782.45 and I did; charging it to my American Express card. I was told the car would be in approximately 1-2 weeks from that date. 47 days later I received a call from Hudson Honda saying my car was in and that I needed to pick it up by the end of August so the sale would get on their August books. I went in on August 30 to pickup and was presented with a new salesperson and a manager who was trying to tell me that my lease payment would now be $438 per month because the previous quote of $395.95 did not inlude tax. They were trying to double tax me and this time at a rate of nearly 11% of which no state has such a high sales tax! They would not budge, telling me the car was in high demand and they could sell it for $1000 more now. I walked out without my car after waiting nearly 7 weeks for it.

I received great service. I started with the internet department and the salesperson who worked with me was very personable, friendly and knowledgeable. He met all my needs without any obstacles. After visiting at least 4 other dealerships, I went to Hudson Honda. Hector took his time with my family and me & helped us choose a car that was PERFECT and at a great price. However, I got cold feet & walked out at the VERY last minute (yes, the paperwork was already written up). I have never had the greatest luck with cars and felt that I should establish a relationship with a dealer closer to home (Queens, NY) and wanted to go for a better rate on my loan (NOTHING to do with Honda). I hoped I could find someone like Hector who was friendly, knowledgeable and best of all, patient. There was no pressure to purchase. He could write a book on the soft-sell. Months later, I returned to Hudson Honda. I called Hector and told him what I wanted to spend and what I was looking for. When I got there - the car was ready! I completed the paperwork and drove it off the lot that day. I could not be more pleased.

I bought an 08 Honda Accord Coupe EX from them 3 months ago. I broke down and the service department had it for 10 days and the whole time had no idea what was wrong with it. After replacing multiple parts - and never giving me an invoice of what was done - they gave the car back and a day later decided that it was "bad gas". They want my insurance company to pay for it - they will be doing an extensive investigation on this. All in all they have poor service - not very informative - they do things without telling you first or with your approval and then expect you to pay for it in the end. I do not recommend this dealership to anyone

During the last decade my husband and I have had the pleasure of having three different Honda vehicles (ALL PURCHASED AT HUDSON HONDA). We just recently got into another Odyssey and we LOVE IT! We have visited other dealerships and have NEVER been treated with the courtesy and ease that we've found at Hudson Honda. When you walk in you don't feel pressured and everyone there works together as though they are family. I have needed service for small reasons and they have taken my vehicle in without any hassle, (when you're a busy working mom every minute counts!) Since we've always gotten great deals on our vehicles I have referred many friends to Hudson Honda and they have all been very happy with their purchases. All of our Honda vehicles have been exceptional, and the sales and service of this dealership is exceptional!! Amazing and wonderful, I got $ 1000 off on 2007 Honda Accord at Hudson Honda of West New York here in New Jersey. They are very friendly, knowledgeable, no pressure, no hassles. They took my money but didn't do a damn thing they were supposed to do. I happen to have my car checked by another technician to caught their lies. Later when I confronted them by phone they were very rude and hung up on me.
