Do your homework! I've read several good reviews about this dealership and I've read experiences that sound just like mine. My advise is to do your homework before you go to any dealership. I spent two days at the Hyundai of Asheville dealership and was upfront about my expectations with the sales consultant so to not waste either of our time, only to have the floor manager Tiffany present me with an offer that was $3000 more than the sticker price and an offer for my trade that was close to $4000 less than the average trade in price for a clean vehicle. The interaction and shady salesman talk was too ridiculous to detail in this review. I will say I ended up buying the same model and trim level vehicle from Friendship Hyundai in Johnson City, TN at the price and payment I wanted. Do your homework!! Response to Owner: Sir, there is definitely something you can do and that is to be transparent about your pricing just like your website suggest that you do. I've bought several vehicles over my life time and not once have I ever been told that the price of a vehicle is MORE than the price clearly listed on the sticker of the car. In this case, the price on both the car and your website were the same. Again, the price that was offered was $3000 more. Not sure how that is fair or how that can be explained.

My family bought a new Hyundai from Valdese Paramount and had a great experience with the sales team and the finance team, plus they got a great deal! Though the salesman here was nice, polite and friendly... I had the exact opposite experience with this dealer. Truthfully, I've bought several new cars and this was the worst dealership experience I've had, I did not buy here and I won't now.

Update, 8/26. I left the lot with the car on 8/9. Tonight, the battery is dead. I'm going to call and see if there's any resolution to this. Disappointing. Original: I was concerned after reading some of the negative reviews, but my experience here was a positive one. They were willing to get an older Hyundai certified that was just inside the certification requirements and were patient while my bank bumbled around with my loan application after I'd initially said that I would pay cash. Bobby and Cassie were friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating. Thanks!

I was treated by nicely by the entire staff of the dealership and being a new resident of NC and Asheville, I was somewhat intimidated at first about purchasing a new car here, but was relieved when I met David Williams who spoke to me as soon as I walked in. I actually received a letter which was not a person letter, but an advertisement in the form of a letter from Kelly. When I called, he referred me to David and now I have a new Hyundai Elantra. I went in this week for a last minute oil change apt, met my new salesman Darion. Told himmy current life v. financial situation, told him that I loved my 2014 Tucson but could not continuethe lease. This has to be my best dealership experience ever. I found the car that i wanted,called Cassie,made an offer,she said she would get with her sales manager,and call me back in a half hour,she called me back in about 20 minutes,with a great offer.I accepted,and we did all the paperwork very fast and efficiently.The entire process was at the most an hour and a half.If that doesn't put a smile on your face nothing will.Hats off to Cassie,very professional and efficient

I got this car with my parents on my birthday. I met with Jarren who we told we didn't have much time as my parents where in from Jersey and we had a family reunion to set up. We don't like to haggle and go back and forth and never did we do that, they gave me a great deal because it was my birthday and I am happy as ever! I was contacted by a sales representative asking me to stop by they had a great new program great rebates and could put me in the new car I want. After contemplating I decided to give it a shot and man do I wish I hadn't. As we walked in sitting down with the sales man he immediately started telling me what kind of car he would like to put me in and taking no consideration as to what my needs or wants were. As much discussion finally the man agreed to let us look at the Santa Fe that I wanted. Wrong color wrong interior and was very much over my price range. We spent an hour discussing price and payment, emphasizing that the price was several hundred more a month than we were willing to spend. We had made it clear exactly where we wanted to be and we're told it was impossible. My husband and I stepped out to make a phone call to another local dealership because they had the same car color and price we wanted for 4000 cheaper just to ask a few questions before we decided whether we wanted to continue business at Hyundai of Asheville or if we wanted to look more, when we were confronted by the sales man asking if I was calling another dealership said he would talk to them tell them there prices as he begins to raise his voice and become very confrontational. The sales man then walks away returns inside where my husband followed a few mins later to let them know we were leaving. My husband was then confronted by both the sales man and the financial service man who continued to raise there voice dictate everything they had previously told us, acting in an unprofessional and disrespectful way. The financial service man so rudely says to me that calling another dealership on his lot is like going out to dinner with my husband and calling my boyfriend. So I'd like to take this opportunity to say to the financial service man now when your husband is taking care of you at home you will have no need to search speak or date another man. Needless to say we did not purchase a car here and do not recommend this we to anyone. After my father n law purchasing 3 new vehicles and my sister n law purchasing a new vehicle we expected better service that we did not receive. I recommend not wasting your time at this place with such low class disrespectfull and unprofessional staff.

We had such a terrible experience with buying a used car from Hyundai. They only had a few repairs to make on the car initially, and it took them 5 days longer than promised. When we actually went to pick up the car, it was mass confusion with no one knowing what was going on and long wait times again. As we were ready to pull out, the rearview mirror, that they had said they fixed, broke again. TERRIBLE!!Very disappointed and will choose a different dealer next time for sure.

We came into the HYUNDAI OF ASHEVILLE with no to low expectations. Figuring we would probably come out with a used car if lucky or some information on what to do to be able to even trade our SUV in. Unfortunately our SUV had been causing enough problems like loosing power in the engine to just about conking out intraffic almost causing accidents a few times. When my wife told Robert Braswellwhat was going on, he never sounded like a salesman but someone who was moreconcerned at getting us out of the SUV and into something safer. He did just that and between him, the owner, and Ryan Nazionale we were put into a brand new car with payments comparable to the ones we still had on the SUV and no longer had to worry about the problems with our previous vehicle. I have never been treated like someone cared at a dealership before, and not only do I recommend others check them out, but we will be doing so again in the future.

Bought a sonata for my gf. A 2011. Withing 2 months the battery died and had to replace a starter. Battery died in the middle.of the night at the beach. Had it towed back to rental house. Not day called hyundai of asheville. They said they would reimburse me for the battery when I got back as it was literally just days after the purchase. They refused to when I got back. The manager who i beleieve is an owner got upset because i called him out on his poor business intellect a d customer service. Had some noises coming from the motor and ac. Dropped it off. They couldn't figure out the problem so they told me it was fine. Asked to talk to manager but he was still pouting over the last conversation we had and wouldn't come out because he knew I wasn't dumb enough to buy into his bs. Took it to another hyundai dealership and they figured it out almost immediately. These guys are incompetent and far from honest. The Manger thinks he is pretty special bit I think it's because his dad is the owner. Just bought two new cars. One for me and one for work. Went to Jim barkley and they were absolutely amazing to work with

Since I am an old man and not technically inclined, I feel that the sales person should have spent more time explaining the intricacies of the vehicle and how to operate the various systems. He also should have made use of the manual to explain. At first I couldn't find the manual but eventually found it in a dark corner of the trunk the next day at home. Frankly, if I had realized the absence of a cd player, I would not have purchased the vehicle as I already miss playing my music.

I never expected such a pleasant car-buying experience. I set up an appointment online to look at Elantras and could not have chosen a better rep than Krystal. We had a great honest sit-down conversation where she was able to determine my needs and wants in a car and my budget. I felt like I could tell her anything, no pressure or sense that she was going to push me into something I didn't want or couldn't afford. Based on this conversation she picked out the perfect car for me, had a great test drive, and she was able to answer my questions and explain everything in words that made perfect sense to me, no spec-heavy tech talk. In the end I got a fantastic lease deal on a 2015 Elantra that fit perfectly in the budget I gave Krystal. I felt like Krystal had my back the entire time, was completely honest with me, and went above and beyond by surpassing my best expectations. He sent us additional pictures to be certain it was in great condition before we made the 2.5 hr drive to Asheville. I love my little Elantra GT Hatchback. She's like a classy spaceshift that's fun to drive. Mileage so-so thus far. Amazing service and impeccable fashion have combined in Mr. Dimitris to make car purchasing fun rather than terrifying. In an overbearing world of "salesmen", his gentle tone is a definite bonus. Gosh, where do I start on my recent experience with Hyundai of Asheville? First off, I live and work in Knoxville, Tennessee. I knew the car I wanted but had no luck finding it at the two Knoxville area Hyundai Dealerships. Thus, surfing on the internet I went. I wanted to find a 2011-2012 Certified Genesis Coupe 2.0T. I came upon Hyundai of Asheville's website and there was the car I had been looking for! I contacted Nick Dimitris and told him I would be on their lot to look at the car this past Saturday. As I wasn't trading in my current vehicle, I had to have someone bring me. And then the flu came a calling and I lost my ride. I called Nick this past Saturday morning and stated I would have to let the car I had been searching a while for go. He promptly made arrangements for the car to be delivered literally to my driveway in west Knoxville. 2 hours later, I am taking a test drive in the car I now own. Easily the coolest experience I have ever had with a car dealership. I can't thank Nick enough for his help. Even though we have two local Hyundai dealerships here in my area, I will definitely be a repeat customer of Hyundai of Asheville. Also very helpful and solution oriented Drew Swaim, and a clear and personable general manager, Billy Hill, obviously driving an effective team there. A cool dealership, responsive and without the usual pressure lined up to deliver results in a comfortable process. This was my impression of the day and of a follow-up visit since. Normally, I would rather get a root canal than deal with a car salesman. But dealing with Nick Dimitris was a pleasure. Astonishingly, it was even fun. We initially went in for service to our old car, not to buy one, but discovered that the repairs would be insanely expensive. So we decided to see what was on the lot. We told Nick what we were looking for, and he actually listened. He brought us exactly the kind of car we had in mind (a used Elantra GT). He was hugely sympathetic to our shell shock over a damaged, low-value trade-in. He was kind, informative, and helpful. And there was not a trace of the condescension or bullying that car salesmen so often visit on women. The only problem with the Elantra was that it smelled of cigarette smoke. No way, we said. We'll fix it, he said. And he did. The first treatment didn't work. The second treatment did. I'm confident that if the car had needed a third treatment, Nick would have seen that we got it. We love the car. And we would go back to Nick Dimitris in a heartbeat.

I am not sure how Hyundai of Asheville has an almost 5 star rating on this site and 3 everywhere else. I made the mistake of ever walking in to Hyundai of Asheville. I got a bad deal on my car (my fault). I wished I would have learned my lesson there but I have been using Hyundai for scheduled maintenance. Today I went in for 15,000 mile scheduled maintenance and my bill was 167 due to fuel induction service that I did not ask for. I will never go back.

There's really not too much to say, I had a very reasonable car budget and I pulled into the lot because one of the employees Evo had caught my eye. Never in my life did I think I would walk away with a Hyundai, but the 2014 genesis coupe r-spec is more than what I imagined for a stock car. It does exactly what you tell it to do exactly when and how, and has a finesse to it that Evo's and Sti's seem to lack, almost like a luxury ride quality with a similar 4CT pull; I can't wait to start building on it. Justin was an excellent salesman and he was so down to actually help me weigh out real pro's and cons between the cars I was looking at, you can tell the entire staff at Hyundai of Asheville honestly cares about customer satisfaction over all. Simply put if you're on the market for a new or used car, don't overlook Hyundai like I almost did, I'm extremely happy with my new car and Hyundai of Asheville will give you a 5/5 all gold environment to browse and purchase cars. I anticipated much better sales and service based on their reputation. We agreed on a purchase (placed a deposit) provided my mechanic did not find any defects and they were able to clean up/recondition as promised. My mechanic found the airbag system inoperative and the complete spare tire system missing, mounting bracket & all, plus there were some minor body repairs. They had purchased this auto at the auto auction. When these needs were noted to the salesman, he said that they would be taken care of. Over the course of FIVE weeks a different salesman would intermittently call me or I called him on the progress. Finally, It was ready, I was assured that all of the repairs were complete, I could come pick it up. Yes, the repairs were completed! When we arrived, the body repairs were made, the airbag light no longer stayed on, but they had to try to find a spare tire and the convertible top lock down wasn't repaired. Two significant items that we discussed on numerous occasions during the five weeks. I requested and received the return of my deposit. A round trip to the dealership was 80 miles.

Well..first of all, they should have told me the asking price for the car I was interested in...this would have made things run smoother. What really annoyed me was that they often left me sitting while they conferred with other sales persons.... Seemed I watched them talking, talking (Ryan Nazionale)..and it seemed that it was not about my inquiry.Very poor attention to the customer.Mr. Whitmire was very nice and cordial..but I didn't get a feeling of good customer service from the dealership as a whole..

When I asked a question online within 20 minutes a sales person called me, he set up a appointment, and in our conversation I informed him that I was driving some distance. I also learned from this experience never let them know up front if you are paying cash. I showed up on time for my appointment, salesperson then left his desk to go talk to someone else, came back and told me the car had been sold. I asked him if it was because I told him I was paying cash, he stated NO; then tried to sell me something else. He could have had the courtesy to call me before I drove the distance. Not only that I just had pulled out of lot and called back; got another sales person asked about same vehicle and was told it was just detailed. Then I had my sister call about the same vehicle and low and behold she was told to come on in and test drive it. If this is the strategy to get someone into the dealership just to sell them something else then it is a poor one.

I was overjoyed that they found it so quickly and had it delivered to the dealership within 24 hours. I was treated so well by everyone that I worked with on this car purchase and I thought the customer service was excellent! When my husband and I showed up on Saturday to finalize the purchase ALL the paperwork was completed/ ready to sign and the car was detailed perfectly. We had 30 minutes of signing paperwork and we were out the door. I got a very thorough run through by Michael of all the features on my new car and a full tank of gas. This was probably one the easiest car purchases I have ever made. Thank you Michael Whitmire for ALL of your hard work/ knowledge and patience and thank you to Billy Hill, Ryan Nazionale and Shannon Hudson for everything you guys did to make this such a pleasant experience. After searching for multiple cars going to multiple dealerships Jacob Hoover was more than helpful! They were determined to help us out, and they did! They close at 7:30 and yet at 9:30 when we showed up they were more than welcome to help us. We had been without a car for 5 days and still didn't have a car to use, they worked with us on the price and they most definitely did not just see us as money signs like most other dealerships. I would recommend this dealership over and over again, the atmosphere is very welcoming as well as the people. Next time we go get another car we're definitely coming back here!

The man at the service department was very nice, I'm sorry I can't remember his name. Anyhow it turned out that even though the transmission was still under warranty I might have to buy a new clutch which was almost $800.00. In March I had decided to start looking around for a more fuel friendly car to replace my gas guzzling SUV I stopped by my local Hyundai dealer and test drove a few of their gas and hybrids, the dealership their was just fantastic from the time I walked in till the time the deal was finalized my sales consultant was Justin Primm he worked very hard to find the right car for my budget and fuel economy needs and never stopped until both those needs were met, even when I thought I wasn't going to be able to get both fuel and price to meet my needs he comes up with a 2013 Sonata Hybrid that at last met both price and fuel needs for me, I love this car they filled up the tank and detailed the car before I left and as of this review im going on my 4th week on that same tank of gas and all my driving has been in city and calculating by the time I do have to fill up I will have drove somewhere between 550 to close to 600 miles from my driving habits so far I couldn't be more happy with not only my purchase but also a very friendly dealership that works and strives hard to meet their customers needs and I like to send a very special thank you to Justin for not only a no pressure experience but also not forgetting me even after the sale he's called me several times to make sure everything is what I expected, so many dealers once they make the sale your forgot all about, not the case here thank you again Hyundai of Asheville I will be back for future business.

He has a very gentle demeanor and a very honest approach to car sales. I felt that my overall interest and what I wanted in a car were listened to and he did everything to match the car to my needs. I was down to two different Velosters at the end and he very accurately directed me to the one that he thought I might be happier with purchasing. I have recommended Justin to friends as someone that I felt could be trusted and that truly cared about the customers. My experience with Justin is not typical, as most salespeople usually attempt to manipulate or control the process of buying a car in such a way that it becomes a disdainful and painful experience.

I went to this dealership with $0 down and a blank check from my bank for up to $25,000. I was told I could be put into a 2013 sonata hybrid without any problem. I test drove one and decided that was the vehicle I had to have. When I went back inside to sign paperwork I was then told I had to have $1500 down. I told them from the start I had nothing and that would not work. After 2 hours of back and forth I was done and went to walk out the door. Then the sales manager came and got irritated because I was leaving over $1500. The only thing I expected when buying a car is for the dealership to honor their word and this one does not. However Richard was very helpful and knowledgeable and done all he could to make this deal work. His bosses are the issue with being so money hungry and losing a deal over $1500.

Richard was great! He had told me on a Thursday afternoon that the next day he would make sure I was in a brand new car. I wasn't very optimistic knowing that I was upside down in my previous vehicle. Well, that Friday I went in. The bank wasn't giving us much hope but Richard didn't give up. I will be brief. 1. Hyundai, as are other brands, are pushing hard to get cars out the door. While this may not be bad, in this case, they are doing it somewhat dishonestly. See below for more information.* 2. The salesmen do not know the cars. They do know how to sell them. We went back a few times only to be bounced around by people who did not know how to operate various systems in the vehicle (yes, we bought one and I wish I could undo the purchase). 3. *The old MPG were still on the 2013 and 2014 certain models, so the dealership continues to deceive people. The new and accurate Monroney sticker (per Hyundai as I contacted them) has been out for over a year with a more correct gas rating. The dealership knows better unless the main company is not communicating to their dealerships. I walked the lot after meeting with a manager who was clueless about various issues. I took notes. 4. Numerous salesmen warned about bad reviews about their dealership. Each said a negative review was written by fired salesman. 5. The place was clean and spacious. But I'd rather have small and dumpy and more honesty than a clean and spacious showroom. Facilities rating is meaningless to me. The list goes on but this is enough.

I was away from home on a business trip returning from Eastern TN when my vehicle broke down in the NC mountains on the afternoon of Jan. 8th. While I was awaiting the tow from AAA my husband contacted Hyundai of Asheville and spoke w/ Brian discussing the situation. Brian was very helpful from the start, demonstrating concern and advising that they would be certain to look at my vehicle as soon as possible once I arrived. The tow truck took longer than anticipated, and I barely made it to the dealership right before closing. Although he had a prior appointment, Brian stayed and greeted me and made sure that I was ok. Even though there were no loaner cars or rental cars available in the area due to the cold weather that had occurred over the recent days, he ensured that I made it to my hotel safely. Early the next morning I received a call regarding the status of my vehicle. The service center had my SUV repaired and I was on my way home by early afternoon. I greatly appreciate the service that Brian and his team provided. They showed concern and care and did everything that they could to ensure my safety for my return trip back to Atlanta. For a situation that nobody plans on or wants to occur, Brian's assistance was greatly appreciated.

I wasn't planning on buying a new car at the time I went into the dealership, I was looking to see what my options were for when my current lease expired. I met Dennis Morgan when I got there. He was wonderful right off the bat, listening to what I was looking in a new car. He brought around a new Hyundai Sonata that fit exactly what I was looking for. He was so knowledgeable about the car and all it's features. He was also in general a really great, personable guy, who did not make me feel pressured at all. I was not planning on getting a new car that day but thanks to Dennis I walked out of there with a beautiful new car that I love. The deal that Dennis got me was better than what I had been anticipating for when I finally did get a new lease. This is my third Hyundai and it won't be my last. This was my first brand new vehicle. I think because i'm young and don't know much about cars dealers and their prices; that i might have been charged more than i should have. My Dad has a lot of experience with dealerships and I chose to go without him and he has told me that the price i'm paying is not what it should be. On top of that I have had a difficult time getting help with some questions and concerns I've had. i call the dealership countless times in a 3 week period and i'm either told to hold and then hung up on or they tell me they will call me back the next day and never do. I really like my car and the man who sold me the vehicle (Jeff) but the customer service was horrible and i think i might have been unfairly charged.

My experience with the 3 staff members mentioned was excellent! i spoke with Mary Ann upon arrival, she was pleasant down to earth, and thorough. I was unable o afford the vehicle I originally wanted but she was able to redirect me to a brand new vehicle that was within my budget and walked me through my process explaining the features and I was completely satisfied. I did not know I was eligible for a $500 rebate as a veteran and found out today and called her to let her know and she asked if I had the proper paper work for proof and is assisting me further (4 days after the purchase) due to the oversight, she is awesome!! Charles was friendly and eased my mind about financing and assured me that they would do the best they could to accomodate me, he fullfilled what he proposed!! And last but not least, BILLY the (WIZ) KID DID AN OUTSTANDING JOB SECURING ME A FINANCER, THAT EXCEEDED MY EXPECTATIONS!! I had done quite a lot of research prior to beginning to actually visit dealerships to test drive vehicles. I had pretty much decided on a Hyundai Sonata, both because of the great warranty Hyundai offers on their vehicles, and because I loved the way the car looked. I had a friend that had owned a Hyundai, and loved it. I had gone so far as to pre-qualify through Hyundai of Asheville's website. Ryan called me within a day, to go over my application, and set up an appointment on Saturday to test-drive some cars. So far, so good, right? I arrived at the dealership on Saturday, at my appointment time, and asked to speak with Ryan (which he had asked me to do during our phone call.) Ryan immediately passed me on to one of the new salespeople, John Paul, or JP. JP was a delight, young and eager, and wonderful to work with. I told JP what vehicles I was interested in, told him I had done quite a lot of research online, told him I had pre-qualified with Ryan, and even told him what color Sonata I wanted to try out. I then spent the next 40 minutes filling out paperwork, including another credit application, even though I had already done so. I kept trying to explain that I was only shopping at this point, not buying, and I just WANTED TO DRIVE A CAR! Poor JP had to explain that this ridiculous procedure was just how they did things, and that he was going to go get a car to drive, as soon as we finished. At one point, my brother, who was with me, and who sold cars once upon a time, stuck his head into the corner office, where at least 10 employees were milling around, and told them they were going to lose an almost certain sale if they didn't just let me test drive a vehicle!!! Long story short, by the time they finally brought a vehicle up to try out (not the one I was interested in, by the way), I was so annoyed, there was no possible way I was going to fall in love with the car. I have to stress that the salesperson, JP was terrific. He had nothing to do with the loss of this sale. His supervisor, who's name I cannot recall, probably because I was so annoyed, tried to do some damage control after we drove the car, and proceeded to try to hard-sell me, even though I told him also that I was only shopping, not buying. I would never return to this dealership, and will certainly share my experience with anyone I know who asks. First rule of sales - you can't sell a product your customer isn't in love with. I never had a chance to love the car, so Hyundai of Asheville won't be selling me one...

I recently purchased a brand new car from this dealership and upon negotiating the deal I was promised a few extras before signing the deal. Thus far the dealership has refused to honor any of these promises. Once I purchased the car and signed on the dotted line I was instantly forgotten and ignored. When I tried to call I was ignored and told "do you actually think you are our only customer?" two days after my purchase. In addition to this, I was told by the salesman that if I didn't give them all 10's on their survey with Hyundai they would NOT do any of the things they promised me upon signing the papers to purchase the vehicle. I believe this is BLACKMAIL. When I reported this behavior to the owner's son, Billy Hill, he told me that the salesman was only looking out for his family.....well who is looking out for me Mr. Hill? Buying a new car is a momentous occasion for most of us and this occasion was ruined and turned into a nightmare by this dealership. It seems I will have to go through legal channels to resolve these issues. Thank you Hyundai of Asheville for solidifying my belief that I should never trust a car dealership.

I was very hesitant to buy a new care, but my current vehicle was barely running, needed major repairs and had high mileage.I had looked at car reviews and decided to get a Chevy Cruze. After a long process, the financing didn't work out. And I'm glad it didn't! My friend suggested the Hyundai dealer and I fell in love with the Elantra. My salesman and the team at Hyundai worked very, very hard to get me the best deal on my trade in and payments withing my budget.The Elantra is beautiful- it has a sportier exterior line, a higher quality interior finish and better detailing than the Cruze. And my new 'Baby' came appointed with a ton of extras! I will save money not having to go to the Orange Peel to get my electronica/dubstep fix now that I have all those stations on my Sirius satellite radio! Yes, I'm talkin road trip now!! I would recommend Hyundai of Asheville to anyone. And I will, eventually, go back there to upgrade my 'Baby' one day! Bill made fresh coffee for me while I was waiting. He was kind and personable. I am totally happy with the 'Hyundai Experience of Asheville'!!

We really liked it, and saw beyond the dirt :) After the test drive, we worked out a payment which was in our budget without any games or tricks (hate the games that the sales people play!). We didn't feel like they just wanted to get our money. Very pleasant experience, wish all the dealerships were like that. Definitely would go back there to get a second vehicle when the time comes. I do think they could've washed the car better and more detailed, but it was fine and we just wanted to go home :) I'm very excited about the new car and hope it serves us for a long time :)

We went in to do some research, looking for information on used Sonatas. Billy Hill met us when we walked in, and he got Bill Griffin to talk with us. Bill asked questions about our interests, checked on used Sonatas in stock, then asked if we would be interested in considering a new Sonata. Though we had gone to explore used cars, we asked Bill to share information on new Sonatas. He took time to find out about our concerns and interests, identified a specific vehicle, and took us on a test drive. He evaluated our trade-in vehicle, and worked with us to come to a price that we were comfortable with. Bill is a good questioner, a good listener, and a patient and effective negotiator, and he is quite knowledgable about his product. He is also pleasant and interested to know about the customer. Billy Hill was helpful in working through all the paper work, also pleasant and easy to work with. We are happy with our new Sonata and will definitely recommend Hyundai of Asheville to friends. I bought my Veloster new from Hyundai of Asheville a year ago. I took it in because the front end is making a noise when gears shift, backing up, putting car in park, pulling forward slowly, putting car in reverse/drive. The noise is never ending. I take my car to get serviced and the Service Techs along with the Service Desk tell me that the noise I hear is "special noise of the Veloster". Also on that service visit there were recalls and updates that needed to be done that I was unaware of. One of those included a part dealing with the brakes. They replaced the faulty piece but forgot to reconnect my emergency brake. I didn't notice until later that night that the emergency brake was not working at all, so the next morning I call the service desk to tell them I am coming back and will need to be done quickly and have gas in my car since this trip was not my fault as I didn't forget to reconnect the emergency brake. Upon leaving the dealership, the Service Desk man, Tommy, followed me out to my car, and told me that he doesn't feel that I will be happy with any service they give me and that I need to find another dealership and there is one in another County another 40 miles on top of the 30 I drove to get to their dealership. I told him that I had filed a complaint with Hyundai Motor Company for the poor customer service that I have continuely received, Tommy said yes I know, I told him I didn't need to be talking to him and I didn't like his attitude. He responded that he didn't like mine either. What kind of company allows your employees to tell customers that they need to go else where for service? Hyundai of Asheville does.

My decision to purchase a new car came rather quickly-- three days after I made the decision i was driving home in my new 2013 Sonata Hybrid. I had been thinking about a purchase for about three years now and had been waiting for the right time to do so. My dad has bought a Hyundai Sonata from Hyundai of Asheville in 2010 and raves about his car every chance he gets-- so I thought I'd give them a try! After going through utter and complete misery with two other dealerships (Hunter Hyundai in Hendersonville and Hyundai of Greer) Richard saved the day. The other dealerships didn't take us seriously and tried to pull the wool over our eyes... maybe it is because we look so young, possibly naive in that way. Hunter Hyundai told us their "best deal", which was still $2,000 higher than what we got the car for at Hyundai of Asheville (this was after they trash-talked Hyundai of Asheville for "not being honest about the sticker price", when in reality THEY were the ones who try to pull a fast one on potential customers). The entire staff at Hyundai of Asheville were incredibly helpful, honest and again, saved us from misery with the other dealerships. The only negative thing I could say is that whoever details the new vehicles needs to be taught how to actually clean a car... I swear they made it dirtier and I had to go back to get them to fix some grease smudges someone made when they were supposed to be cleaning my new car and I've never seen such a bad job at cleaning windows! I certainly don't blame the sales people for this. My experience with Hyundai of Asheville, and especially with Richard, was incredibly positive. I'd recommend anyone who is looking for a new Hyundai to go no further than here. You may want to browse other places for prices but that's it. Hyundai of Asheville was amazing. I love my new car and I feel so good knowing I supported a local business that is worth giving my business to!

I was very dissapointed in this dealership after reading such great reviews. I was quoted a price via an internet buying website that was substantially less than my local dealership in Tennessee, so I called to verify the pricing. I was assured that the price was accurate and that they had the car in stock. Upon my getting there, the car was in stock, although not the color I was told and the price was thousands more than they told me on the phone and via the internet!!!!I was told that the price on the internet included all the rebates offered and I didn't qualify for them. I showed them my print out indicating that I did qualify and that those were promised 'in writing' to be taken off the price quote. They said that the website was not working properly and that there was an error in the pricing. Really??After 2hrs of going back in forth, they finally relented to sell me the vehicle for 'only' $700 more than the gaurunteed internet price that was supposed to be no haggle. I was so mad at this point that I left and made the 1.5hr drive back home.This is a black mark for not only the dealership, but for the auto buying website as well.I will not recommend either of these companies to others.

What meant the most to us is that they weren't pushy salesmen, which would have pushed us right out the door never to return. We don't do "pushy".We dealt with Michael over a period of two months as they were trying to locate the exact car that we wanted with all the options we wanted.Michael stayed in touch with us to update us periodically on the search. After having a horrendous customer service experience at the Ford dealership in the morning, it was a breathe of fresh air to deal with the employees at Hyundai of Asheville. Excellent customer service and a very competitive price for my trade and new Santa Fe Sport. Unlike the earlier experience these sales guys actually listened to what I was saying and didn't get into the old fashioned used car salesman high pressure tactics employed by other dealers. I would highly recommend them as a dealership and the new Santa Fe is a knockout.

Just went to look at their Hybrids. Hyundai Sonata has a good over all rating with safety features. Good attention to detail. Smooth ride and good mileage for a midsize car. It has many standard features on it that you might expect to find on a higher priced vehicle. We owned a Toyota Prius. We eneded up trading our Prius in and Leased a 2012 Sonata Hybrid. Dealership really worked hard for us to get financing for it. Our Sales/Person was Bill Griffin. He's a sweetie. If you stop there be sure you ask for him. I'm glad we just "stopped to look".

I went in just for a test drive of the new 2013 Sante Fe Sport. I did not plan to buy immediately. Bill Griffin came out to meet me within minutes of my arrival. He was extremely knowledgeable about the cars features and performance. He wanted me to clearly understand the differences between the Base 2.4 and the 2.0T models, so we test drove both. He explained the features of the various options packages and the safety features. I was impressed with the overall value of the SanteFe Sport. They had a model on the lot with the specific packages I was interested in, so we started to deal.Bill and Sales Manager Billy Hill were skillful negotiators, but we were able to work out an attractive trade-in price for my 2011 Kia Sorento. We got out to look at a few cars and Dan came out and was very helpful.We let him know what we were looking for and surprisingly we didn't think he could meet our budget but he did. Joe worked on a very bad day (raining) and it was near closing time. He had located a couple of cars on the lot in which we might be interested. To repeat, the weather was terrible. We selected an Elanta and the leasing process went smoothly. There was no trade-in and my wife had left the checkbook at home. We drove our new car home and I took the check for the up-front money to the dealership the next day. My wife and I felt like Joe was working for us. A very good buying experience.

My husband and I have been to other dealerships and have walked away from those dealerships without a car because they discriminated against us for being young. No one would even approach us to see what we were looking for. At Hyundai of Asheville my husband and I had not made it fully out of our car when Mr. Joe Childrey met us at our car and offered his immediate assistance. We are now the proud new owners of a Hyundai Elantra. Mr. Joe Childrey was very polite and made our shopping experience very enjoyable and less scary. My husband and I have not leased a car before so this is our first time, I believe they folks at Hyundai of Asheville appreciated this decision and worked to give us the best deal possible. My gf and I stopped by here to check out a mini cooper S we saw on their used car lot. We were out that day specifically to test drive different types of cars to figure out what my gf would want. It was hunting day. Immediately we are approached by what turned out to be a new sales man, an older gentleman. Pretty normal car dealer convos, but no prices on cars. So, we go inside to chat and to supposedly get keys to drive said mini and possibly a used Hyundai. We spend the next hour waiting alone or talking to this guy who is in no hurry to do anything. Before we even have keys to test drive or even know the price of the car, they are asking for any information, minus social security numbers and are even asking about how we want to finance through them. We do finally go on a test drive and return to talk pricing. My gf likes the car. The sales guy is kinda wierd, kinda pushy but we can talk about the car at least. Still no asking price of the car. Just the "Well what do you want to pay for it?" game. We finally get the asking price and it is way overpriced for the mileage and factory options it lacks. We are already getting impatient with the guy and are ready to head to the next stop but this guy doesn't let up. Finally he steps aside to chat with his manager to see if the price is negotiable (after talking about financing over and over like the price won't change). We take this moment to quietly leave, not trying to be rude, but before I can get to our car, another guy is running after us. I figure this guy will apologize for the new older guy being so slow and green, but more haggling ensues. This guy is bent on getting us back into the office to waste more of our time. We made the point clear over and over, the price was way high, but we would be back if we wanted to actually negotiate a real price. Still this guy doesn't let up. (this guy is Michael Whitmire listed on this site btw) I'm starting to get upset that we have lost near two hours at one place, with lots more stops to make and this guy is even beginning to argue with me on why I would need to be anywhere else, like I am making it up. At this point I was about ready to have at it with this guy, but instead I put the car in gear and drove away from this guy. I did make sure to leave black lines on their pavement on the way out. Immature reaction? Sure. Worth it? Hell yes. In short, we got ran around, wasted time, were extremely rudely treated and their price for the car was way too high to even start. Even if they called and said they could accept our counter offer I would never give those badgers one penny. Every other dealer we had been to was super nice and not pushy at all. Hyundai of Asheville has certainly left a bad taste in mine and my gfs mouth about Hyundai dealer.

I walked into Asheville Hyundai ready to buy a car if we could come up with a win - win deal. Marry Ann and Jamie Davis were both friendly and helpful. I had been to the Honda & Subaru dealer several times and they did not seem to want to work with me, unless I was willing to overpay and accept a low ball offer for my trade. I felt that with a minimal amount of friendly negotiation the team at Hyundai offered me a deal that was acceptable. They pushed, but not to hard. I had also planned on financing though my credit union and was close to walking away because Dasha (finance) was boarder line pushy. However, I gave him the opportunity and I am glad I did. They found me a great deal and did not try to slip in any hidden BS. He also attempted to sell me on the extras, but quickly banked off when I did not bite. Again in the end they pushed, but not to much. It was refreshing to work with a dealer that seemed to want to make the sale happen, after dealing with both Subaru and Honda who seemed to be full of them selves and not ready to deal. I would go back. We will see in 5 years if I am happy with the car, but the initial buying experience was good.

I drove from Knoxville to close a deal made over the phone with Charles as well as the Used Sales Manager. When I arrived the car I was to pick up was not in the condition I was told it was, was not the correct color, and utterly filthy. Charles and the used car manger were either not present or too cowardly to face me. Management hid in their office and sent Mary out to deal with me. They refused to talk to me of leave their desks/office. Mary, however, was very nice and friendly. I told her I was so sorry she works for such cowardly, dishonest, unethical, inconsiderate people. I will never deal with this dealer ship again and will be posting to all forums I am on how I was treated.

My wife and I met Mary Ann (sales)when we were at Hyundai of Asheville. They did not have the color we were looking for on hand. A few days later, Mary Ann called and left a message that the color we were interested in had arrived. She followed up again and we went to Hyundai of Asheville a second time. When we arrived, Mary Ann greeted us and explained in detail the different features of the Hyundai Tucson. Mary Ann took time to answer our questions and made us feel comfortable. Never did we feel she was in a hurry to wait on another customer or go home. Mary Ann was wonderful. Mary Ann, Michael Lawson (floor manager), Jason Scott (general manager),and Gene Cline (new car manager) worked diligently to make sure the cost of the vehicle was in our price range. Kellie Howard (finance officer) was wonderful in explaining the options we had concerning the warranty. The staff made sure we were satisfied as we drove home in a new Tucson. This was my first car buying experience, and a wonderful experience it was. I had already made visits to other dealers, none of which were as friendly or as welcoming. My dealer really listened to what I had in mind from the very beginning. He was exceptionally patient with me, showing me all my options and answered any and all questions I had. Buying a car can be a very stressful experience, and for me a big decision, but it could not have gone any better. It could have been the same exact car for the same price, but it was really my dealer who made the experience worth while.

I was involved in a traffic accident in May that destroyed my car, a Toyota Yaris. I wanted to replace it with something similar but not quite as small. As I am 71 years old I did not wish to take on a car payment every month, so my goal was to find a quality used car that would cost equal to (or as close as possible)to the settlement with my insurance agency. My salesman at Hyundai of Asheville was Michael "Kiwi" Wright. He listened to me and was gracious and friendly without being overbearing. As I have never purchased a used car before I was understandably "leary" of the entire situation. Michael put me at ease and I felt that I could trust this man to find me a good car for the value. In the end, I drove off in a 2010 Kia that seems to be in great condition. It handles well, is economical, and the body is in excellent shape. I ended up paying slightly more ($200+) than I wanted to spend and I did have to bargain with the Manager who closed the deal. All in all, I would recommend this dealership and especially, Michael Wright. I love my "new" car and I feel very satisfied with Hyundai of Asheville.

First off, I LOVE my car! I found a great deal on a gently used 2011 Kia Forte. In the past when I've dealt with dealerships, I always left with a sense of frustration. I've purchased a car in the past that had left me regretting my purchase. That was NOT the case this time! Derek Patton is a great sales consultant. It is generally believed that purchasing a new vehicle is an exercise in frustration, theatrics and flim flamery. This was not the case involving my recent purchase of a Hyundai Elantra from Hyundai of Asheville. I went there with interest in another model, the Sonata, which was thoroughly explained to me before taking a test drive.The process was somewhat evolutionary as I changed my mind several times about the different Sonata packages offered and eventually settled on the Elantra. During that time all of the sales persons were patient, helpful and intent upon guiding me to the best vehicle suitable for my budget and my needs. They were very knowlegable of their product, professional in their presentation and curteous as I switched from several different choices. The negotiations were pleasant, all options were explained to me and they worked extremely hard to get me into the best possible vehicle for my needs without any of the hardcore antics usually associated with the purchase of a new car. I left the dealership with a smile and found the entire experience to be a very friendly and positive experience. The entire staff went to extra lengths to make me feel comfortable and to address my needs. There were several small touches which added to the experience. Thick floor mats not listed as standard items were in the car after it was fueled with a full tank of gas and washed and cleaned. Michael Jordan covered all of the vehicle functions with me and programed the Blue Tooth option to my phone with great patience.The product speaks for itself. The Elantra is one of the best vehicles I've ever driven. It is stylish, well thought out, functional and well built. It makes one suspect that this is a car company that values quality, engineering, inovation and performance as much as the bottom line. Of course time will be the final judge but I suspect this vehicle will weather quite well over the years.The entire experience from the moment I walked into the showroom until I pulled out of the parking lot with my new car was great. I thank everyone involved and I will be back for another Hyundai when my daughter graduates highschool and takes this one away from me.

TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN: I had the privelage of meeting and getting to know Dan Brown a few months ago when I took a friend to buy a used vehicle that the dealership had advertised. I found him to be friendly, courteous, not pushy, and a great all around person. He responded to all our questions about the vehicle and how to install more options than it had in a very caring and positive manner. For these reasons, my choice of a salesman (and dealership) was obvious when I decided to buy a new car for myself. On the day I went to buy my new car, upon my arrival at the dealership,I was told that Dan was not scheduled to come to work for an hour or so yet, so I explained that I would only do business with him due to the fact that I considered him a friend and knew him to be honest and caring, and also NOT PUSHY, a rare trait in a car salesman. After this was agreed on I took 1 test drive in a car I had already picked out and researched on the internet. By the time Dan showed up he already had a sale to his credit for that day. One might think that the salesman would just slink off to his desk and figure up his commission on the deal, but NOT DAN.!! When I came back to pick up the car the next day, he spent a couple of hours showing me all the electronic gadgets and how to use them, set up the "blue tooth" phone system, and filled the gas tank as his dealer ship had advertised but there it sat with 3/4 tank of gas showing on the gauge. Before I drove away with my new car, (the first NEW ONE since 1959, Dan stressed to me that if I had any problems or concerns on operating the electronics, I should come and let him explain it all again and again for as long as it took. His knowledge of the product and willingness to share said knowledge were, and are AMAZING.!! If I ever buy another new car, Dan will be the salesman so long as he is not selling "smart for two"s, or "Ugo",s by then. Thank you for a great buying experience and a great car. It has performed flawlessly so far, Just like Dan.!! I would recommend him to ANYONE seeking a new or used vehicle.!!Sam Gibbs

My wife and I shopped several dealerships in the Asheville area, it was like a breath of fresh air when we visted Hyundai Of Asheville. The staff welcomed us and showed a genuine interest in placing us in the car we wanted, they took time to explain the features and benefits of the car. One dealership we visited just walked us outside and let us walk around their car and never offered a test drive and a week later have still not contacted us back. Myself and my mother visited Hyundai of Asheville during their special sale on Sunday. The visit started out very pleasantly, it was busy so it took a while to be approached by a salesman. We was greeted by a very charming friendly associate from salsibury Mr. Brown. He made us feel very welcome and accommodated us with many test drives. We agreed we favored a used 2012 accent gls with 10600 miles. We was then approached by Mr Beaver to discuss the price and trade in values. We was offered 1000 for our vehicle which was very offensive to me. They asked 19800 for there used accent, they might as well have slapped me in the face with offer. Reason being a brand new accent with the options this one offered should have not been over 17500 sticker price. After we discussed it beaver told me that he gave me a price on an ellantra. Easy mistake, he was to contact me the next day with the correct price but he did not honor his word. I have spoke with different salesman to find out there asking price but I am blown off. Started out having good experience but left offended and with a bad taste in my mouth. I will consider Hyundai as a future vehicle but will never do business with these crooks.

Deb and I came across Dan Brown and Hyundai of Asheville while we were out shopping for a new car, you see Deb had been hit in the rearend on 12/29/11 totalling her 2008 Subaru Tribeca. While we were waiting an answer from a dealership just down the street, we stooped to look at Hyundai of Asheville and met Dan Brown, who we talked to in lenghth. He ask us a question that no other saleperson had bothered to ask us. "what was our needs, what were we looking for and then proceeded to share all of Hyundais options, financing and other needed information. Deb had owned a new 2008 Sante Fe and she really liked it, except it was not AWD. Dan answered every question we had and made us feel good about buying a vehicle once again. We left the dealership with Dan's card in hand as well as a brochure for the new 2012 Hyundai Sant Fe. That night Deb and I talked it over and we both knew we wanted to buy a Sante Fe so the next morning we called Dan and made an appointment. When we arrived he had 2 vehicles waiting for us to look at. Once again we spoke about what we wanted and went from there. Inside everybody made us feel right at home and that was a good thing, taking the stress out of buying a vehicle. Dan made the paperwork and financing go smooth and easy. He kept us informed during the entire process. Gene Cline made sure we got the best deal possible. Dan Brown by far is the best saleperson we have ever delt with, the entire Hyundai of Asheville team is a truly a TEAM, honest and friendly beyond any we have met, and we have bought many vehicles. Deb and I highly recommend Dan and Hyundai of Asheville to all our friends and family or anyone looking for a great deal, a good car and stressless vehicler purchasing. We also want to mention how much we apprecited Kelli up in financing who was a delight during our contract signing. Dan and the Hyundai team helped us buy a car, they did not sale us a car. Michael was very professional. He was not high pressured and listened to my needs and worked tirelessly to meet these needs. I was able to secure a used Santa Fe very quickley and while the financing situation I had was difficult, Michael never gave up or discouraged me from the ability to secure the vehicle. Exactly one month after my purchase, my engine light and ABS lights came on in the truck. I took my vehicle to the service center and while I bought the car "as is", Michael saw to it that the repair was covered by the dealership. While this repair was only $100 and it was no reflection or result of their negligence in the sale, in the interest of customer service, they covered the cost.I would highly recommend this dealership to others. In fact, my sister will be looking for a Santa Fe and will be working with Michael in the future.Thank You Hyundai of Asheville !!

Michael Jordan replied to our online inquiries regarding the 2012 Hyundai Accent. He was prompt and thorough with replies to our specific questions. When we came into the dealership, Michael was able to take us for a test drive and answer all of our various questions regarding the vehicle and other models. We were specifically interested in fuel economy and he was very knowledgable in that area. We had a very nice experience after searching for a used car all morning. Mary Anne was a bit pushy but I expect that from a sales rep. She was willing to listen to our price range and we came in knowing what we wanted in a car. We were happy to find a used Jeep Cherokee in our price range and got an excellent price for our trade in. The only bad experience we had today was waiting so long to hear about financing and to sign the papers once financing was approved. It was a Saturday that we were in and the it was busy. I will recommend this dealership and Mary Anne to others.

The car buying process is never fun...however our recent purchase of a vehicle at Hyundai of Asheville was about as hassel free as it gets. Our first salesman, Dan, was friendly, knowledgable and not overbearing. We were disappointed to hear that due to a medical leave, we had to change salesmen. What are the odds that we would get a second likeable person to deal with? We did! Michael picked up the ball right were Dan left it. We did our test driving early in the process and saw the exact make and model that we wanted, but we were not ready to buy. When we were ready to buy "our new car" was nowhere to be found. Michael oversaw a computer search to locate the vehicle we wanted and within 2 days of the request, our car was waiting for us come take it home. Since we had a leased vehicle to drop off, Michael did not hesitate to offer a ride from the other dealership to his to complete the transaction. We will be happy to do business with this dealership again in the future.

My salesman David was fabulous and very helpful. Never pressured me in any way. The dealership was great to work with and I would go back to them again.My only problem was I was told that the dealership would take care of getting the registration changed on the car and my insurance switched. It took longer than a month to get the new registration and then I learned that the insurance had never been changed, so I was technically driving without insurance!!! I would make sure to stay on top of this if they offer to help with these things.

My husband and I had no intention of buying a car that day. We had just decided that current car had a lot of miles on it and we needed to look for an inexpensive used car that was good on gas. We both had decided years ago that we never wanted to purchase a new car again due to the cost. We were going out to supper when we past Asheville Hyundai and saw a used suv that wanted to look. Billy Hill greeted us as soon as we parked our car. Verypolite and knowledgeble. He could answer any question we had. We saw several used cars we wanted to look at. We even told him we were just beginning to start looking around and had plans to look around at other dealerships over the next few weeks. He was still very helpful. He was happy to run back and forth to find keys for several different vehicles and accompanied us on short drives in each one. One of the cars turned out to be just want we were lookin for and at a fair price. We decided we go ahead and purchase it before someone else did. It was already after 7pm but Billy said he would be glad to start the paper work that evening. This was great since that day was the only one my husband and I had off together since we worked opposite days. The details were worked out and the payment were in the range that we wanted. While things were being finalized my husband notice some photo on the wall above Billy's desk of some actual fuel mileage rewdings. They were in the 40s. When Billy game back with paper to sign we asked about the photos. He said they were from the showroom car. We looked the car over. It was a beautiful silver Hyundai Elantra. Lots of room. We have kids over six foot tall. They would have plenty of let room in the back. Four door. Reasonably priced too. We asked Billy to run the numbers on it too. Buy the time the the finance rate for w new car versus the the rate on the used car were calculated there wasn't much difference in the price. The payment options were in our price range. We were sold and decided on the Elantra. To our disappointment another couple had just signed the paper work on the very same car. billy took us outside and showed us three other cars in different colors. We picked w dark grey. It was just as beautiful as the silver one. By this time it was 9pm. They fixed the paper work and we were approved right there on the spot. They would deal with the bank for us in the morning. By this time it was pouring the rain. Billy went with us to clean out our old car. He got soaked. He then took the time to show us how all the interior gadgets worked. What a really nice guy. Come to find out he hadn't eaten since breakfast because he had given his lunch to the couple who just bought the silver Elantra. They weren't even buying a car from him. We were now the owners of a new car. Never that would happen! We never felt pressured!. If we ever buy a new or used car again we will go to Asheville Hyundai first and ask to see Billy Hill.

I'm a single mother who has never purchased my own car. I spent a month researching used cars and visiting car dealerships. I found my "new to me" used car on the Hyundai of Asheville website and headed down to check it out. Up to this point I had encountered indifferent and downright sleazy car dealers. Dan Brown made me realize there is at least one great car salesman left. I told him I was interested in the vehicle and exactly how much I had to spend. The car listed for more than I had in my budget, and I felt it was a shot in the dark that I would go home with this car. Dan made it happen and walked me thru the whole process. He helped me with questions about insurance and a few other things I had no clue about. He made sure my new car got an oil change and air filter as well as scheduling an appointment to bring the car in to fix a ding from the previous ownership(at no charge to me). Dan made sure I would have no worries for the next 5000 miles which is when my oil change is due. He even installed my son's carseat for me. I got a great deal on my vehicle and great customer service here. Everyone I talked with was helpful and polite without being condescending to my lack of knowledge and experience. So ladies (or gentlemen), if you are looking for a car dealer with integrity, I highly recommend Hyundai of Asheville and Mr. Dan Brown.

I am VERY upset!! I was looking to buy a car and had a bad experience from the start. They were very rigid with their pricing, finally after making a very hard decision to spend the money I decided to make the purchase. I asked to put money down on the car to save it and Mary Ann said that there was no need to do that and that she would just hide the car. I was not informed that I was not able to put money down on the car and that I needed to fill out paperwork to hold the car. I then got a phone call saying that they were going to sell the car and I needed to rush up there. I was at work and unable to get away. It was then I was informed that I was unable to put money down on the car. The car sold before I had a chance to do anything. I wanted that car very much and have been looking very hard to find that specific car. I am very displeased with the way business was done and am furious about the car. I will not refer anyone to them and will make sure that I steer people away from doing business with you.

We had been very impressed with the press and ratings the Hyundai product has received. Having just moved to Asheville and in need of a new car, we decided to visit the local dealership. It was a unique and refreshing experience with a truly professional and warm group of people. Billy Hill and Charles Baldwin were very helpful and responsive to our requirements and provided appropriate suggestions and guidance. We were interested in the Hyundai Elantra, but they did not have the color that we wanted. The dealership did a great job of not only tracking one in our color down for us but in keeping us informed of the progress on the search and delivery. The sales team took the time to thoroughly walk us through the features and operation of our new vehicle. We were also very impressed with Joel White as he explained warranty, service and financing options and made what is usually a less a than pleasant part of the purchase experience simple and quick. The dealership and the salesman (Dan Brown) made sure that I was satisfied both before and after the sale. With every car I have bought, I seemed to have an attack of buyer's remorse until now. In the past, I have bought General Motors, Dodge and Toyota products. I changed brands usually after a bad experience with a vehicle. From the research I have done and the experience I have had, I know that I have made a great choice buying my first Hyundai. I recently purchased a new Hyundai Sonata 2.0t Limited from Hyundai of Asheville. I spent several weeks comparing prices from local dealers. I even spent $20 from Consumer Reports to find the best price for this car. After a very pleasant test drive I started the price negotiations. I was quite surprised to find the asking price for the car was actually $200 BELOW the Consumer Reports starting point! You just can't beat the prices at Hyundai of Asheville. I was treated in a fair and courteous manner and would highly recommend anyone looking for a new car to stop in and ask for Shawn Treadway. Shawn went out of his way to make buying a new car as painless as possible. I have no regrets about my purchase and would return to Hyundai of Asheville again for a new vehicle. I've had my Sonata for about 6 weeks and just love it! I previously had owned 5 different Toyota's and this was my first Hyundai, but I don't think it will be my last. I called for an appointment for service on my vehicle, when I drove up David was waiting for me. He immideately took my vehicle in and processed my request. He proceeded to invite me to wait in the waiting room and have coffee while my car was being serviced. I went to Hyundai of Asheville to test drive a new 2011 Sonata Turbo. I was considering a Hyundai Sonata Turbo or a 6 cylinder Honda Accord. I was totally impressed with this new turbo. After a short negoiation period I purchased a Sonata Turbo, but they did not have the vehicle I wanted in stock. Andy & the sales manager located the car and promised to have it ready for me the next day. I have never purchased a car sight unseen before but I agreed. The next morning Andy called to let me know the car had arrived and it would be ready after lunch. He called me around 12:30 and told me the car had been cleaned and serviced and it was ready. I arrived to find the car was in perfect condition and more than they had promised. The paper took just a short period of time and with a full tank of gas I was on my way. I was completly satisfied with Hyundai of Asheville and Andy Sorenson.

I went to Asheville Hyundai on March 21, 2011 to look at a Sonata that was listed on their website and cars.com. I was greeted by Billy Hill, a salesman at the dealership. He was very friendly and paid attention to my desire to look at the Sonata. He had me drive the car and I felt at ease asking questions about the car. He put no pressure on me to buy the car. We talked about trade-in value of my car and the price of the Sonata I was interested in. We quickly reached a deal. The finance manager, Joel White, discussed finance terms and went over warranty coverage and optional warranty and maintenance programs available if I was interested. He was friendly and explained well the optional coverage if I wanted it with no pressure. I was also introduced to the service advisor, David Dearman, who was also very friendly and outgoing. He explained the procedure for getting my Sonata serviced. My visit to Asheville Hyundai was a very positive experience.

We went in to refinance and came out with a new car and lower interest rate. Quick, friendly and thorough. Andy was very friendly and answered all of our questions. Even though it was late and they were getting ready to close, he did not rush us and looked at several vehicles with us. He encouraged us to test drive to make sure we would be happy and went over all the functions availble in the vehicle. He made sure before we left that we knew how to operate everything in the car and invited us back if we had any questions. I would highly recommend them to anyone shopping for a new vehicle.

Actually went in just to look. Shawn was attentive but not "pushy". We discussed trade-in and price. The test drive was a bit shorter than it should be . This dealership is a JOKE!!!!!! I bought a used 2006 Acura TL from this dealership. My sales person Freddy was awesome, and that is about the only good part of my whole experience from them! First off they never inspected my car when I bought it from them. Which meant that they had to send drivers to where I live now, which is in RI, 900 miles away one way to take my car back to NC to get it inspected!! Next my windows and all sorts of other things started to go wrong with the car! 3 months after I got it!! I was in contact with Eric The Sales Manager and told him about the problem I was having. After I got the estimate for the problems which cost me $170 out of my pocket, I called Eric The Sales Manager back becouse I was supposed to be reimbursed. Eric The Sales Manager never answeder my calls, called me back or anything after I tried to get ahold of him numerous times!!!!!!!! GARBAGE!! So I did what I thought was the next best thing and called the owner Rhett Blanchard. In this day and age you would figure dealerships would do whatever it takes to please people, but not this dealership!!! I left Rhett Blanchard messages and guess what, NO CALL BACK!!!
