I don't normally write reviews... But I pretty much have to this time. I bought a CRV from J&J about a year ago. It was a great experience. I was in an accident recently and it was totaled. I have 2 friends that work at car dealers in Laurel. "We'll take care of you" they said. I went to both of them and was NOT taken care of... High interest rates, told me an incorrect credit score (which was off 100pts and very inconsistent at the 2 dealers) was why I didn't get a better rate, and their selection of CRV's were all overpriced and had dings and scratches everywhere. "It's a used car" was their reasoning. (My 89 Honda CRX has less damage than their 07-11 CRV's) I went back to J&J, was in and out in 30 mins, with a GREAT Interest rate, GREAT condition vehicle and for $3000 less than the other 2 dealers wanted for the SAME YEAR WITH SAME MILEAGE... And I learned how good my credit score actually was! In the future I'll avoid wasting my time and start here first, like I did a year ago. Save a headache... Save a lot of money... Go see J&J!!!

I was in dire straits trying to find a car and from the time I put a down payment down to the time I walked out the door it was the fastest experience I've ever had buying the purchasing a car everybody everybody was kind caring compassionate the customer service was outstanding they have the car ready for us to do a test drive the car was impeccable and I'm so happy that I went to JNJ auto to purchase my car I would recommend this dealership to everybody because it was the smoothest fastest and kindest experience I've ever had in purchasing a car thank you so much for allowing me the experience that I had with you I look forward to visiting with you again for anything that I may need future I recommend all persons need a car to visit this dealership

Our daughter needed a car and we are so happy our mechanic recommended J & J Auto Sales. It was a pleasure dealing with J & J - very professional and honest. I was in the market for a used vehicle to get the family to the ski slopes each winter with confidence. After looking on the Internet for weeks, I finally came across JJ Auto sales offering a Chevy Tahoe. Despite its age (it's a '99), the vehicle is in immaculate shape. Jay and his staff even worked with me to transport the vehicle to my mechanic for a quick inspection while I was at work before I committed to buying the truck!This dealership is committed to putting the customer first, and I will certainly be visiting them again if I am in the market for a used vehicle.

I started my first full time job after college and started saving for a car. I decided it was time to get serious. The only thing I knew was that I wanted a blue car and I didn't want to deal with sleazy salesmen. My dad saw a blue CR-V in their lot and I said "let's go!" SO that weekend we went down. Jay greeted us in the parking lot and I mentioned the CR-V and he said hold on. He went inside grabbed the keys and handed them over. No personal questions. No contact info. I test drove and bought it. Jerry was awesome throughout the finance process. It was a very relaxed and casual environment that made me feel comfortable and confident that I was buying the right car. I did have some technical difficulties once I took the car home but I brought it back and they fixed it without a question. I have owned my car for 3 months now and love it! I highly recommend J&J Auto they are two great guys who just love cars!

We do not buy cars often and when we do, we hesitate to buy used cars. However, when we saw J&J were selling a 2012 Outback in great condition and at a great price, we knew we would have to check it out. From the moment we stepped on the lot until we finalized our purchase, Jay was extremely friendly and helpful. Our car buying experience was easy and straight forward. We bought our son a 2009 Honda Accord for Christmas and he loves it! It is one of the cleanest used cars that I have seen, and all of the cars on the Lot seemed to be in similar shape (and I can be quite picky). From a buyers perspective, Jay was great to work with and it was a no-hassle process. I would definitely recommend J&J Auto and will certainly keep them in mind for future purchases.

I have been looking for a while for a reliable car for my college age kids to drive back and forth to school. J & J found a 2008 Chevy Cobalt that was in excellent condition, with low miles. We negotiated a fair price (to both sides) in a relaxed, low pressure environment. I would recommend highly J & J for a reliable, clean, used car.

My 2006 Honda Odyssey was deemed total loss and needed another van in the price range of what the insurance company deems "fair market value." Not an easy thing to do, but found one at J & J Auto Sales. My "new to me" 2006 Honda Odyssey is identical to my old one except a different color, less miles and much cleaner. We had been looking for several weeks and dealt with many salesman, but nothing compared to the laid back, easy going manner of Jay and Jerry. They made purchasing the van quick and painless. They even waited until the insurance check cleared the bank to deposit their money, which was much appreciated. It was important to us that the vehicle have a clean Carfax report and J & J had one all printed out ready for us to review.

This was my first used car purchase and what a fantastic experience! Jay and his brother were very informative, gave us their much of their time and full attention. By far the easiest car purchase I have ever made with no stress. Let me be one of many to tell you that the cars in this lot are quality and very clean (I especially liked the fact that many are one person owners!) This dealership/family truly wants to please their customers and see them in a nice and reliable car. I felt they went above and beyond and for example, Jay offered to take the car to my personal mechanic before making the purchase (and needless to say the car was in perfect condition). I think this is practically unheard of and you can bet I will return to this dealership for future car purchases. A+ goes out to JJ Auto Sales!

This is the Second car we have bought from this Dealership. Our salesmen Jay and Jerry were very helpful both times. The first time we wanted a vehicle that would help my daughter get home from college in upstate New York safely. He even put new tires on the car for us. My daughter loves her new car (Honda CRV) and it is running great. My second Daughter was rear ended and her car was totaled. Jay and Jerry once again were very helpful. No hassle just listened to our needs got right to the bottom line and helped us get in another Honda CRV within the week. I would definitely recommend J&J Auto to anyone. Last week was my first time to purchase from J&J. All the people I dealt with were very friendly even when I made a couple of changes which caused them more paper work. The car was nice and shiny when I picked it up, even though I picked it up one day late. I guess they had to shine it up twice. They all seem to like their jobs. They made me feel like they really cared what happened to me. I hope their caring attitude continues now that the purchase is complete.

Jay was so easy to work with and the process was unbelievably simple. He cuts right past all of the "Big Name Dealership" shenanigans (including those "miscellaneous" costs) and gets right to business. I don't think I spent more than a total of 60 minutes there and I left with a car. All of the paperwork was done for me when I arrived and he even had a light bulb quickly replaced while I signed everything. It really was a perfect and easy transaction. Thank you, Jay -- I'm a customer for life!!

We just purchased a 2010 Acura TSX from J&J. Love it! They have non-smoker vehicles with excellent carfax reports. This is the second vehicle we have purchased from them. Our 2007 Honda Civic remains on the road with no issues whatsoever. Both cars were purchased for our sons, but I am so impressed that I think I will buy my next vehicle from J&J when the time comes to replace my 2012 Toyota Highlander.... I could not recommend them enough.

I went to J&J because 3 different people recommended them. I went there to look at a 2007 Highlander but ended up getting a 2004 Lexus RX330!!! I liked both vehicles but the Lexus had EVERYTHING I wanted and then some. Jay was very honest with me and took the time to explain what my payments would be for both vehicles. I just could not pass up the Lexus. When I picked it up yesterday, it was clean inside and out, tags on and ready to go. All I had to do was sign for it. My experience at J & J was amazing and I wouldn't change a thing! Every employee is 100% dedicated to giving you the best service out there. You are treated as valued customers and friends. The cars are great with low mileage and a wide assortment of different makes/models. They clean the cars often, making sure they look nice and only sell the best vehicles they can find. I just bought a 2010 Mazda 6 from here a couple ago and while I won't need another car for a while, I definitely plan on returning and telling everyone I know who needs a car to go to J & J. My experience at J & J was great and I wouldn't change a thing. Every employee there is committed to helping you out the minute you step onto their lot. Everyone is extremely friendly and personable and are willing to help you out by any means, The cars at J & J are in great condition too, all having low mileage, clean interior and exterior, and a vast variety of different makes/models. They clean and wash the vehicles very often making sure they look great for when people come to look at them. You can clearly tell that their customers are important and giving them an easy and wonderful experience is what they aim for. I plan on telling everyone I know looking for a car to go to J & J. My car was totaled and I don't have the best credit after going to other places and getting approved for not so dependable cars with horrible rates. I looked at the JJ auto sales and applied for a car and thought the worst they could say was no but it was worth a shot. A few hours after I finalized the app I got a call saying I was approved for the car with the best finance rate I had herd yet. I emailed some documents off and when I got off work and went to the dealer I was done and driving my new car in 30 minutes. No 4-5 hours at the dealer. The car was super clean and drives great. I had awesome customer service and after telling them about my injuries i sustained in my wreck they really wanted to help me. I don't plan on getting another car for awhile but when I do but another car JJ will be the first place I go!

For 2 weeks I searched for a vehicle that was difficult to find. 3 such cars in the area, 1 in Manassas Va another in White Marsh MD; needless to say I logged a lot of miles and met some slimy ppl selling over priced junk. Last night a fourth vehicle popped up on Cars.com which was reasonably priced and lucky for me, at J&J. After reading the many great reviews, checking the very clean carfax report, I blew off work and went to J&J this morning. The great reviews are accurate! What a breath of fresh air as this was the best car I had seen and a great deal. These people are very honest and actually go out of their way to make you feel good about buying a car. My advice to anyone reading is to learn from my experience, save your gas, time, and start you search at J&J! Highly recommend!

Jay was very reasonable! My mother-in-laws car was totaled and she needed a car fast. Jay gave her a Great Deal! I looked it up on line and Jay charged her the least amount for her new car and to go even further he did some repairs that probably ended up making him break even on the sale. But Jay stuck with his original price. Very good integrity and a good man. If you are on the fence of where to buy get OFF this place is Legit!

Upon coming in the atmosphere was friendly and clean. We were welcomed warmly by all staff. I had my eye on a vehicle in stock already. The vehicle was exceptional in every way. Being a mechanic I am always wary of the used car business when it comes to quality. After my old car officially died, I was in the process of looking for a "new", nice car that had relatively low mileage, but not a high price. Jay and Jerry were very helpful and supportive on helping me choose the right vehicle that I wanted. Just finished my second auto purchase from J & J Auto - a 2008 Chevrolet Colorado LT EX-CAB. My first purchase from them was a 2001 Jeep Cherokee that had 75K on it when I purchased it and it finally gave out at 310K....definitely a great buy! These guys make the car buying process as smooth as butter! Given my less-than-stellar credit rating, they were still able to quickly get me financed at a good rate. Hope they are still around in 250K more miles when I need my next rig!

I love this no haggle dealership. You either want the car or not! The prices were below everyone else in the area. You find yourself wondering why they are less??? J & J Auto Sales was recommended to us by two friends who have purchased used vehicles from this dealership in the past. The location was convenient and in passing by the lot occasionally, we have seen many current, popular models with plenty to choose from. The selection on-line was presented very well with many photographs of the interior and exterior for each vehicle. Once we viewed the website, we visited to look at 3 different vehicles. All of them were in top condition. Jerry informed us he had just acquired another vehicle the same day, so we test drove 2 cars while we waited to drive the third. The third one was the "charm". Excellent condition, low mileage and within our budget. The car had to be inspected yet, so we awaited Jerry's call the next day. It was ready by mid-day and we picked it up. The entire process was handled very professionally with honesty and integrity.

Highly recommended! My family has been going to J & J Auto Sales for years. They are the only place we even look. Recently I wanted a specific model which they didn't have in stock. Jerry promised to keep an eye out and he found one that exceeded my expectations while staying within my budget. If you are looking for a quality used car, go see them. The entire family are just wonderful people. March 2014 we just bought our seventh car, an Impala. I love it. As it is the seventh car I have purchased, not due to quality issues-I put a lot of miles on my cars, coming back seven times should say it all. In addition, my mother has purchased a car as well as my sister. Jay and Jerry have always been good to us and always fair. These guys have helped me determine what I was looking for when I didn't know. This family is about building long-term relationships, not making a quick buck. I am glad to know they are here to help me with my auto needs but quite frankly, I am glad I got to know the entire family. These are good people to have touched my life. I need a car when my truck turned out to be no more good and I need another car fast my mother has had bad experiences with car dealers in the past so she was on very high guard going to a car dealership but she left the decision to me but that's beside the point a way she had checked out J&J's website and contacted them on a weekend and I had a test drive 48 hours on a Monday later it was running and warm pleasant and inviting 2 days later that Wednesday I was driving home in my new car which was a good thing because we got slammed with 24 inches of snow. By the way I forgot to mention the process was incredibly easy.

I found myself having to purchase a car and quick. I ride by this dealership every day for my daily work commute and would always find myself checking out the inventory. This was the first dealer we went to and the first car we drove. The entire process was EASY and FUN. The salesman are genuinely out to please and will see that you leave a happy customer. I found the car I liked on their web page and requested a time to test drive and check the car out. I was contacted quickly. When I showed up the car was cleaned, running and warm. I walked in and Jay showed me the car and said enjoy the test drive see you soon. When we finally decided the purchase was a go, the paper work was quick and easy. I think that Jerry and Chris and Jay, the owners of J & J that I dealt with, were a little (or a lot) puzzled by my approach to used car buying. I'm an older woman, but have always bought used cars from individual owners in the past, and have always had good experiences. I ask A LOT of questions. (It's not as challenging as you might think, if you know what you are doing. It's actually kind of fun.) I had never been to a used car lot, until my good Westminster mechanic recommended J & J to me. I thought I would take a look, give it a try. I ended up buying what appears to be a fine used car (as I always do, so far in my life), but this time from a used car dealer! I experienced: patience, respect, answers to all my questions, more patience, freedom for me to test drive conveniently and to take the car to my Sykesville mechanic for a check before buying/negotiating. J & J has what appears to be good old-fashioned local expertise about high-quality cars, and good, old-fashioned, down-to-earth, and kind personal customer service. Wow. Old-fashioned is important to me. These people are the real deal, and I salute them.

We were in need of a newer car and since we drove the wheels off the first car we bought from J&J we decided they would be our first stop in the shopping experience (which We all enjoy ... !?!?!) I've known Jay for a Lifetime and Met Jerry later on in life. Both are excellent to work with and my wife and I were not pressured at all. I like going to J&J's because you can test drive basically everything in your price range and not be pressured or bullied into something you don't truly want or can't afford. We decided on a 11 Toyota Corolla "S" and it is a joy to drive. I bought it Tuesday the19th of November and I might have to put gas in it today (the 23rd), A far cry from our 2000 Jeep Cherokee AWD V8. I highly suggest J&J to all my friends and Family !! If they don't have it, They'll find it for you. There Jay .... A good review !! Now Where's my $50 !!LOL

I went to J&J Auto Sales for the first time the other day just to look at a new car and to talk to them. I was immediately greeted and politely helped. Jerry listened to what I had to say and didn't speak technical terms to where I had no idea what he was saying. I'm in the process of shopping for my first car, so I had no idea what to expect. He was very helpful in going through everything with me. I went in the next day and he put me behind the wheel of an awesome Dodge Caliber to test out. I loved it! He wasn't pushy or forceful in any way, so I was very comfortable and confident in the fact that I would walk out of his office with the keys to a great car within a short amount of time. I will be recommending J&J Auto Sales to anyone I know looking for a car for a great price that doesn't want the hassle of big time dealerships. I will be buying all my cars from Jay and Jerry from now on!

We needed a car quickly and wanted the best condition/miles for the best price. I used a search engine to find SUVs under 15,000 and 100,000 miles. This brought up JJ Auto as 1 out of only 5 places to look in a 50 mile radius. They had the best mileage/price and so we went there first thankfully. Pleasantly surprised how clean (inside and out) the SUV was, and that it had new tires! Much better quality than anything we had seen up until that day. It was worth the drive to find it; as it was the easiest car buying experience we ever had. Thank you Jay for making it easy.

I was shopping for a new car when I stopped at J & J based on a recommendation from a co-worker. I had not planned to buy used, but was really impressed by the quality of the cars available. No sales pressure and they will help you find a car that may not be immediately available. We worked out a fair price, including my trade-in, and I was out the door the same day. My daughter was with me, and found the car she had been looking for, and bought it the next day. I will definately go back to J & J the next time I need a car.

While this place is a little bit off the beaten path, it is totally worth it! I purchased a clean car in a great condition for a great price from them. They also provided me with snacks and water as the car buying process takes a little while. I was able to finance the car too. And I took the car for a test drive before buying. Every other dealership wanted more for the similar cars but this place was totally affordable. What more could you ask for?
