On October 26th, I purchased my vehicle (lease buy out) at Jersey City Ford. I chose to finance the buy out through another lender because at the time I went to the dealership to discuss (10/7) buying out the finance rep refused to make me an offer. At the time I signed, the dealer had the check from my financing company and had stated they ordered a payoff statement from Ford Credit who was the current lien holder. I left the dealership with temporary plates that were valid through 11/26/2015. For the past few days I have been calling the dealership to inquire as to the status of my plates. Each time I was told the plates weren't ready yet because they had not received the title from Ford Credit. So today I called Ford Credit, only to find out that they had not been paid off. I was now also delinquent on my monthly payment to them. I am a Branch Manager of a Mortgage Lender. I have made repeated requests to speak to managers, and never get calls. I am usually told to call back and ask. I leave messages, no one returns calls. My next issue is the temporary plate expires on 11/26 which is thanksgiving. I will be unable to drive my car too or from work. I can't use my wife's car, as she we have 2 young children who need to get to school and a 75 year old mother-in-law that is in ailing health and has doctor appointments.

Where do I begin? I was bored one day last week and was browsing through the internet building new model cars and looking at the different prices, little did I know that once I typed in my zip code, I would immediately get a phone call from Jersey City Ford regarding my interest on the vehicle I had just built 15 minutes earlier. I answered the phone with no intent of even making an appointment to meet with anyone, but Anthony (their internet specialist) was so lovely, there was no way I would be able to pass an opportunity to speak with him in person. I made an appointment Saturday (September 12, 2015) and again, with no intent of even purchasing anything. I was late for the 9:00am, made it there by 10. I walked in and was immediately acquainted with Elias Statham. From the first moment we spoke, I was intrigued with all he knew about the vehicle I wanted to purchase. He was so funny, attentive, kind and soft spoken. But before we even began to speak about the car, I had told him about my past experience with dealerships in that area, and he assured me that I would have a wonderful experience and walk out of there with a car. I thought he was out of his mind. We even joked that he would have to REALLY impress me. I was there for about 3 hours, test driving the car, talking about aspects of the car, numbers and what I really wanted. Mind you, I was always first in every conversation. Elias then introduced me to the Sales Manager, Jorge Narvaez. We talked numbers for a bit and for once, I truly felt I was being HEARD. After leaving for lunch and having time to think, with no pressure into buying the vehicle, I came back determined to not take the car. I felt that I still didn't have what I wanted. But after working out the numbers again and figuring out the best for both parties, I came to the decision to close the deal. I felt relieved and happy to have been given a chance to speak, to hear what they had to say and to leave the dealership with a peace of mind I did not have with my purchase at Kia in 2014. I know I was given an amazing deal. Signing the papers with Reginald Haynie was a trip! He had me in and out in under 20 minutes. Before I knew it, Elias was in the car with me making sure I knew every aspect of my new 2016 FORD EXPLORER SPORT! AHHH! I can't even believe it! From the bottom of my heart, I'd like to thank all at Jersey City Ford especially the four men I mentioned in my review for a surprising, yet wonderful car buying experience! I drove out the lot with a brand new car, money in my pocket and new friends that I know will always want my experience at Ford to be a good one and safe with my vehicle! Thank you for caring!

In my process of deciding about a car I had considered those advertized companies offering all sorts of deals, then I came to realization of dealing with a proven dealership, that I dealt with since the 90's. Finding a familiar face (Rocco) in the service dept he connected me with Ken who started the process, and with Luis gave me a great deal from trade in to lease. The process moved along with minimal amount of time and the degree of professionalism was above reproach. The faces may have changed but the principle of good business and good deals has carried through, and I'm glad I came back.

This is the worst dealership. I turned in my car and leased another. It was my first time there. The salesman left me sitting for 1.5 hours to go into Finance to sign. When I finally had enough and got up to leave, he and another salesman got loud saying I wasn't waiting that long. I was walking out and of course they took me straight into finance. The car has had problems since I bought it home. I have called the salesman 5 times. He didn't call back. I finally called the service department and was told by some rude girl with a thick thick accent that she needed the vin number before I could speak to anyone. I told her I was on the highway and needed to speak to someone. She hung up on me. I wrote to Ford and still have not heard anything back. Go anywhere but to this dealership. They are the worst.

This is an absolutely terrible dealership. I leased a car from them in 2013. The process took 6 hours! The sales representative and the GM of the dealership that sold me the car have both been subsequently fired. My lease expires shortly and I asked them to send me a copy of my lease. I was talking to Christina. She explained that according to internal policies, she could not do that, but if I came to the office, she would be able to give me a physical copy. We agreed on a day and a time, I drove out of my way to the dealership. Christina was not there and no one there had ANY idea about my request. The GM was looking at his phone and seemed completely unimpressed by the fact that Christina just wasted 2 hours of my time. I would never recommend this dealership to a friend -- terrible customer service.

I received excellent service when I went to redeem a coupon last year so I decided that this would be the best dealer to do business on a continual basis. While having my car looked at in the service department I went to see what was on the showroom floor. I saw a Ford Fusion that caught my eye. The salesman, Jean Carlos Brea, came over and said he could get me into that car. The manager came over and said that they would work up a deal if I would agree to buy the car. I didn't think it would happen so I agreed. They did it and now I'm driving a fully loaded Ford Fusion. Thanks Jersey City Ford and Jean Carlos Brea.

I bought my 1st car at Jersey City Ford and I have to say the experience and service was excellent. I was recommend to see Steven Cruz. I spoke to Steven on the phone a couple of days before I went in I was a bit optimistic because of my credit and didnt want to be embarrass Steven assure me that He will make it happen so I made the appt as soon as I got there Steven was ready for me, I saw the car I wanted, we went for a test drive Steven didnt rush me back told me everything about the car and all its features so we when got back we went to do business. HE REALLY DID MAKE IT HAPPEN !!! I love my Ford Fiesta Hatchback. OH and I got a little more than expected for my old car which shock me, lol. I really appreciate Steven for helping me during the process of buying my fabulous car. A special thanks to Leo the best finance person ever. He helped work out numbers to make everything affordable. Luis Cheekie Taverez the funny, happy general manager there came and thank me for purchasing a car and gave me a full tank plus a free oil change. Everyone at Jersey City Ford are excellent people to deal with. Highly, most defiantly will recommend my peeps to go there. THEY REALLY MAKE IT HAPPEN !!

In less than 1 yr I took my car for service 2 times and it took them almost 2 weeks to to get the truck fixed. Never got a car from anyone and had to keep calling to see whats going on with my car. They did not even have a loaner so I had to go out and rent a car on my own. When they called me to pick up the car nothing was done on the vehicle it took them 12 days to diagnose the vehicle

I was in the market looking to lease a Ford Fushion, after my salesperson Luis let me test drive it, I wanted to get down to business with the numbers. There, the GM Jay came out and I found him to be courteous and extremely helpful in asking me what type of car I want. When he found the car I was looking for, it was time to go over the pricing which again Jay provided exceptional service in making sure I stay in budget. My family and I have purchased/leased many cars and we never met a GM as dedicated as a Jay in making us feel comfortable in purchasing the car I want for the price I want. I would recommend both Luis and Jay highly if you are in the market for a new Ford.

was in for maintainence 4/1/14 and 4/2/14 your service writer (female Hispanic decent) was very disrespectful especially to my Military I.D. she could not wait for me to leave. I was there 4 hours Monday and another 2 hrs Tuesday. horrible. she refused to even look at my I.D. or give me my discount she told me to see carlos the next day. she tried to charge me for wheel alignment on Monday when my tires were put back on the same way I went it with. she made a mistake of telling me my tires that I wanted were in stock and after 2 1/2 hrs I approached her and she told me oh they are not in stock. had to go back the next day but she wanted me to pay for everything right there, wheel alignment and tires I did not get.

I leased a vehicle back in 2013. After signing all paperworks, i get temp plates on my vehicle which is normal procedure. After 20-30 days i get my plates and registration to later(5-6months later) find out that in january 2014 my registration was expired after getting pulled over by RAHWAY, NJ POLICE. I got off with a warning and decided to review the lease i have signed for. It appears that my lease indicates that $365 was added to the lease to cover for the MVC title/registration for "FULL TERM OF LEASE". i called Jersey City Ford spoke to front desk Angela who is a complete novice to her job description and requested to speak to my finance manager "Nelson" but unfortunately i was told that he was FIRED. I then requested to speak to another manager. I was transfered to mailboxes after mailboxes until having the chance of speaking to "BILL Weisman". i explained to Bill my situation on 02/22/2014 and he stated that he check the situation and then call me back as MVC does not work on weekends. Unfortunately, he didn't, i called on monday and explains that his computer database indicates the MVC Title/registration was a "transfer" which is not indicated on the lease i signed for. i vented out to Bill that i needed my registration renewed for the full term as indicated on lease. Unfortunately, Bill refused and gave me the "Princess Attitude" which had my blood boiling because he believed the info on computer was accurate. We stopped the conversation after that because he was not help. I then decided to call back and spoke to someone by the name of "Erma Tavares". I explained the WHOLE situation again and she transfered me to front desk where once again Angela transfers me to mailboxes. i call back i speak to Erma Tavares once again and demanded that for someone to get off of their a** and find a manager that can resolve the issue, immediately. Note: almost all dealerships are partnered with MVC in order to print out a registrations, renew and etc. Furthermore, Erma gathered all the info i explained, she personally reached out to "Bill" and im guessing co-worker to co-worker communication she wanted "Bill" to handle it. I told "bill that your system is wrong and i a copy of the lease which sure enough he requested me to fax it to him, so i did. After forwarding the copy of the lease, i called "Bill" i get a different tone of voice, like if i was right or something, oh that's right I AM!!!. Bill askes me for my email and then forwards me a picture of what the system indicate (transfer). So obviously the copy of my lease does not match Ford's database. BINGO!! After, i thought "Bill' was going to apologize for the inconvenience and fix the issue right away he then tells me that he has to match my lease with theirs and gave me a lame excuse that its in storage and they are "trying" to find it. I called today 02/26/2014, i get Bill's voice mail and just so everyone knows i am still waiting. i cant use my car until then which i will most likely contact an attorney general, Better Business Bureau, Corporate Attorney and the IRS since their book keeping is not correct. Just playing fair. Fortunately, i review everything i sign for.

I leased a car on Jan 1st and it is Jan 23rd, I am still waiting on plates for my car I called to speak to a manager and was told they will return my call, I am still waiting. I give this dealership an "F". My temp. plates expired on the 20th and was told they don't know what the problem is. I contacted DMV, with an answer of "we don't have any paper work for the VIN# provided"....

This is the first time dealing with Jersey City Ford.. It was well worth the ride sales staff is excellent and the service department is No 1 , I purchased a used Edge the sales man was easy to deal with and helped in every step of the process. After driving home I noticed the back tire had excess wear on them and I had an issue with the door locks . Called service made an appointment and they took care of everything and replaced the tires and no cost to me and the used car rep. appoligized that the car was sold with bad tires.

Nick was my sales consultant. The deal on my trade in and the price for the used car I bought were very close to those quoted in Consumer Reports. I found the car I wanted on the dealers website and visited them the next day to put a down payment and hold the car. the buying process was very efficient. I took in my vehicle for service and it took them over 3 weeks to try resolve my issue. I left numberous message for Carlos Rodriguez in the service department asking question as to how long it would take to fix my vehicle and he would never respond back. One day had to call ever 5 minuntes until he got tired of hearing him get page so he can pick up my phone call. I even left message with his supervisor Vinny which til this day has not called me back as well. I would not recommend this place they are a RIPE OFF and sad to say my vehicle still is not working the write way. I called him back to fix my problem and they still have not returned my phone call.THIS DEALEAR IS HIGHLY NOT RECOMMENDED

This is the worst dealership I have ever had the misfortune of trying to doing business with. After over 4 hours of trying to work a deal they told me if I came up with $3000 down I could take the vehicle, I came back with the cash and was then told I needed another $3000. I was trading in my 2010 370Z for a used Hummer that is still sitting on their lot 2 months later. They will not budge on any prices. They promise the world and they do not deliver.

They offered a 2012 SEL for $23,000. After I test drove and was ready to purchase, the Sales Manager suddenly said he paid $27 plus spent $895 to prep the car so he couldn't sell for that price but instead wanted $28K. The car was full of dog hair and the brakes needed to be fixed. So much for the Certified car they first offered. A big waste of my 2 hours.. They lied and gave me one price and then changed the price when I was excited about buying it. Don't waste your time going there.

I have been going to this dealer for a while just out of habit. I never felt comfortable wiith the service, I always felt it was about getting as much money out of me as possible and not really much concern about me as a customer. I kept going due to one technician. Today he was not there and I had my car serviced anyway. Afterward I found out some of the work I paid for had not been done. While I was there I also found them recommending service that did not apply to my car, giving me advice from the wrong service sheet, promising a technician who did not end up working on the car as promised. It was the realization of all the concerns I had about coming there and I won'T BE BACK.

I went in to jersey city ford the other day and right as i walked through the door someone was there to greet me. They knew i was interested in a mustang so they already had it ready in front of the store, they let me go for a test drive and told me everything i wanted to know about the car. Emailed them about a car I was seriously looking into. The car had low mileage and was very low priced. I wanted to make sure nothing was wrong with the car so I could buy it. The staff told me they would Email back about the car's condition later that day. Instead, they raise the price of the car and do not Email me back AT ALL. It is 3 weeks later and I'm yet to hear a reply about the car.

This are the worst awful service no good just a preown vehicle there and sold it to me with a lots of damages and they charge me like $800 dollars for the certification and told to inspect the vehicle on my own and i told the sales person i am not a mechanic and i find like five damages on the vehicle and they told me to take the vehicle like that and bring it back during the week for repair i took the vehicle back there they took over a week and when i went to pick it up the sales person told me that everything was fixed we went to get the vehicle at the shop and when i verify nothing was fix on the vehicle this is the worst service ever bad people just want to rip people off !!

We traveled from staten island and couldn't have been happier. We decided to go to Jersey city Ford thanks to Pat, who was the most friendly, knowledgable person we have ever spoken to at a car dealership. Walid was the best sales person. No pressure, showed us everything we wanted to see, and took us on the longest test drive we've ever been on, which was good cause it helped us make our decision. We spent a bit of time there, 6hours, but it was worth it . Walid worked till he got us the car we wanted, then after all was done sat in the car to help us with our phone and sync. Nelson was the best finance person we have ever dealt with. He helped work out our numbers to make everything affordable . The entire staff was knowledgable and courteous. They were friendly and made the whole experience that much easier and nicer. A special thanks to Rudy and Steve for helping make the whole deal come together.

I was a bit skeptical walking into this place since I've worked at Metro Honda and Hudson Toyota before (I be knowing the sales tactics) but to my pleasant surprise this place is actually different. They really, really work with you to help you get the car you need, not want. My 2002 Benz with 120k miles was just not cutting it anymore. It was a pain and extremely costly to maintain so I tried my luck and I'm glad I did. Even though I have really bad credit, somehow I managed to walk away with a beautiful 2013 Ford Escape. I honestly was trying for the 2013 Ford Edge, which I could have gotten away with but Marvin, Victor, Rudy, and Steve all coaxed me into realizing that I would be living above my means and I didn't need such a huge car payment or a big car, which is rare! Thank youuuuu JC Ford for everything!!!!

i recently bought a ford fiesta 2013, it was in unbelievable condition and it was at an excellent price (very economic). Futhermore, the staff was amazing, and they were so patient when i was looking for the right car because as a mother of two, it isn't very easy to pick one out. I needed to check if it was safe enough for my children. In addtion, the sales person Marvin was very helpful along with the manager, Steven who even offered lunch while i waited for the car to be ready, etc. The service was as quick as possible. Highly reccomend it!

I just bought my 2011 ford explorer this week and had such a great experience! Our Salesman Freddie was really very nice and helpful. He took the time to look for the car that we want. The finance manger Nelson was really nice! he really took the time to get me and my husband aproved! Our monthly payments was even less than we expected! All of the staff were very friendly too. When i got home there was a small dent on my car(which was my faul for not noticing it when i was the dealership) and the previous owner did not leave the door code so i took it back to the dealership. They did not hesitate to offer to fix it and reset the door code for free!!! I would highly recomend this dealership!!

I just traded in my '06 Explorer for a brand new 2013 Edge. I have to say that I was very leery at 1st, because I didn't have any money for a down payment. However, I was reassured that I would be leaving with brand new car. The staff was very friendly and courteous. They took the time to explain all of my options so that I could make the decision that was right for me. Some places put a lot of pressure on you to purchase a vehicle, but that was not the case with the people at Ford. I left there with a sense of satisfaction and would definitely refer anyone to Jersey City Ford.

I scheduled an appointment to perform service on my 2005 Lincoln LS, which I bought at this dealership, for an engine misfire. To me, if you can't get good repair service on a car that you buy from a dealership, there is no reason to shop at that dealership. I didn't have my car seen in 3 days to read a engine OBD-II diagnostic code, which is free at AutoZone, and done in 5 minutes. My car sat 3 days completely un-touched, an no loaner car was offered, something I'm entitled to as a Lincoln customer and under my extended warranty program. My service writer, Carlos, was out one day and another service writer didn't pick up the case, and it seems that they have no procedures in place for these situations. Finally, after my car sat untouched for 3 days and repeat follow up phone calls on my part, they then tried to up-sell me on things I didn't need, such a belt-retention, a radiator flush, and a bunch of other nonsense, because they get paid less for warranty work,so they try to up-sell you on other things, needed or not, to make more money on you. I needed warranty work, work that is free to me, that is, ignition coils. The Ford Factory pays them less for warranty work that in-house work, so they tried to shove $970 of un-needed work down my throat.

This is the second car I have purchased from this outstanding dealership within two years! I live on Long Island and travel to Jersey City Ford for service as well. I have the most highest respect for the guys at the dealership...specifically Rudy, Marvin and Nelson. It surprises me a little to see some less than perfect reviews in the past. I've recommended this dealership to my family and friends...and without exaggeration.. my referrals have resulted in nineteen new car purchases. That alone says ALOT!!!! I understand things could go wrong....more times than not...it's not the dealerships fault...law of averages says somebody will get an issue and I truly believe this dealership and crew will make it right...I'm speaking with experience. I advise people to alway get prices from various dealerships...Jersey City Ford has a habit of destroying there competition prices. I've had a dealership in Nassau County (no names..wait..screw it...Crown Ford) said they couldn't even come close to the same deal that Jersey City Ford offered...I was amazed to hear that! Buying a used car...a new car could be really stressful.. It usually is...you always come home and think you could have gotten a better deal if you we're a little more aggressive..lol..I've been there. This is why I travel to Jersey City Ford...I truly believe that you will not regret it! I take my hat off to the guys and gals at Jersey City Ford...truly a dealership that is second to none!

My Ford was kept for 4 and 1/2 months for a knocking engine. My service rep.(C.R.)refused to return calls when I'd ask for updates.The service dept. fought with my American Auto Shield representatives who saw them misrepresent the work they said they did. They asked me to pay $4,479.20 for 27hrs labor to install an engine my that Auto Shield Coverage sent them. I was able to bargain down to $3,521.64. They gave me a loaner car and threatened to charge me for it as a rental. Ford company said they are a Negative Dealership, privately owned, and they could not intervene. I made many futile attempts to contact the owner to no avail. Lawyers said cut your losses before they put a lean on your car. So I paid. I left my brand new snow shovel in the loaner which they say is not there. I will never buy a Ford again thanks to Jersey Ford. Keep the shovel.

We just bought a pre-owned ford car from Jersey City Ford store. This is our first car so it took us 5 hours to get the deal done. Everyone there was very nice and patient to help us get through the process. Right after taking the car home we noticed that there was a dent on the rubber of one tire's side. Since it was a smooth drive I believed that the dent was there before we took the car. (I was told by my friends that it could be caused by some tire straps during vehicle transportation but I'm not sure.) So I contacted them about the issue with a photo but was a bit worried since we didn't report the problem in the store - and I didn't check all the tires very carefully which was my mistake (well, first car...). However, they replied in the same day that they will get the tire replaced. I am very happy with that and I think overall their customer service is great.

I visited the Ford Dealership on January 12th as I liked to Ford Escape. I lost my vechicle during the Hurricane Sandy storm. I was not sure about leasing or buying the Escape and Mr. Kenny Gilyard helped me with this process explaining the different options. He took the time to answer all my questions as this was going to be my first lease. I also explained what I was looking for in a SUV and he picked the one I would really enjoy riding. It is perfect and I love my new Ford Escape SE. Mr. Gilyard even took the time to pair my phone to the SUV for me and explained the many functions of the Escape. This was a blessing since the car I was using was destroyed from Hurrican Sandy. So Benny Rosario was the agent who picekd us up and he was the nicest guy ever. When we arrived at the store, he asked me all of the typical questions...what kind of car, how much I want the spend, etc. Benny was never pushy and was concerned for my needs. This is one of my worst car buying experiences of my life, after owning 3 vehicles in my life, this is definitely the worst dealerships i have been in. So i drove from over 40 miles to get here on my friends car because mine broke. i called the dealership spoke to a guy named Henry if the car is in good shape, he says yes its available and in good shape ill keep it here for you. i come in next day (btw henry called me about 10-20 times to make sure im coming and he assured me the car is extra clean and good he even put me on hold to check if the car is still there supposedly etc..) i come in i ask for henry a girl tells me he isnt here even though he told me stays there past 9pm i came in at 5pm, she directs me to another salesperson who asks for all my info all over checks for the car comes back and tells me the car was damaged and they sent it back. i was infuriated i wasted my time, i asked him over the phone numerous times to make sure the car is there and sound (1 hour before i came in, i asked if the car is there he said yes its here dont worry). the assistant manager a little old hispanic guy comes up and starts lying in things that i start making him look stupid in. he tells me the car was shipped out this morning (knowing that he knows nothing about my situation i tell him i just saw the cars its just damaged) he tells me "oh yes we didnt ship it out yet" they start lying stuttering and then all together laughing saying at least you can get free coffee if you want. the young salesperson helping me, apologized and told me that "we dont have good customer service" i tell him ill write a bad review online" he says we write a couple each week anyway so one bad one cant hurt us and trys to sell me other cars instead of the one i came in for. i asked to pay for my tolls or gas which came out more than $40 and he laughed and offered free coffee again. THESE PEOPLE WRITE THEIR OWN REVIEWS ABOUT THEIR DEALERSHIP, THEY SAY THEY HAVE ONE CAR BUT OFFER YOU ANOTHER. SHAME...

I called back the dealership on Friday to inquire about my expired temp plates and they said they couldn't Issue an extension until they got new computers in which could be Saturday. I called back Saturday and asked if the computers came in and if they were up and running and they said yes. So I asked to come down for a plate extension. They said they no longer issue extensions. I asked for a manager they transferred me into a voicemail. I called back three more times and finally they got me someone who they said was a manager. The manager said he could write me a note for the cops if I got pulled over. I told him I wanted to know what I can do to get plates. He promised to find out and call me back within the hour. 14 hours later I'm still waiting for that call...

They had the necessary knowledge to explain in full and proper detail to a n00b like me. Not only do these guys know their stuff, they work with you to make sure you get what in you want in a timely fashion. If something is out of your reach, they'll give you the next best available and hammer out a deal for you. Maybe it's because I'm new to this, but I enjoyed my experience here. My sales rep. I traded in my car for a bigger one and I will admit the service was great, at their request I even posted about it. Now two months later my temporary tags are expiring again so once again I'm paying for a car I can only drive sometimes. I tried calling them and as usual they blew me off. Why should they talk to me they already have the sale, right? So I called the DMV as I have a small child and a job so I need my car. According to the DMV they never filed anything for my car even though they told me several times it was pending with the DMV. I called back jersey ford and asked for the manager. The receptionist transferred me to parts so I called back three more times as she kept transferring me to different places. Now I have no car for work on Monday. If the dealership was behind all they had to do was call me and let me know and help me to maintain my ability to drive my car. All they offered was to pay my ticket if I get pulled over. What if they tow my car? What kind of dirt bag do they take me for? And that amazing salesman Luis who got me such a great deal doesn't even return my calls pleading for help. Jersey city ford doesn't care about their customers.

From the very start of my process in looking for a car I wanted to purchase and all the way to the end Benjamin went above and beyond to get me exactly what I wanted. He wanted me to be truly happy and I now am more than I could have expected not just for my car but for the experience in dealing with Rudy. I went into jersey city ford to buy a new F-150 that i had seen on their website for a very good price. I spoke to a sales person who then took me out see the truck and he knew nothing about it, he basically read me the window sticker when i could tell him everything that was on the truck by just looking at it. We then went back inside to fill out the paper work, I then put a down payment of $2,000 down and told them that i would come back the next day to finish the deal. Then they raised the price of the truck and wouldnt give me my down payment back when i told them no deal. A week and a half later i went in to deal with them and get my money back, and was greeted by the manager Rudy who then threatened to keep my money when i demanded it back.

I went there because I was quoted a price online for a specific vehicle. I was assured, on the phone, that it was for the vehicle I was looking at , which was the only one they had. Went in and learned it was for another vehicel :that was just sold". The manager immediately went to the website to show me his ratings on this site. Was more concerned about that than working with me on the price quoted. Leads me to believe many of these reviews are friends, family or self written. The salesman I worked with was very nice though (Louis or Luis)and I don't blame him.

I contacted JC Ford earlier in the week and made an appointment to come in on Saturday afternoon 9-4-12. I was greeted by one of the sales associates and wasn't given his name at all and in addition find out that the vehicle was already in negotiations that same day. So aleady I felt that I was competing for this vehicle with someone else immediately. I was very apprehensive about continuing and a bit dicouraged. I had not come to compete like this. I was then introduced to Nick (he was not the gentelman that originally first greeted me) and after speaking with him about my interest in the vehicle, he re-assured that we would work on a good deal and not have to worry about the other negotiations that were supposedly already going on. Nick helped me with all of the details and was knowlegeable about the questions I had. We were able to come to a satifactory negotiation that I could then take to finance.

Initially we were happy with the dealership. But after stepping back and looking at everything they are no different than any other dealership. We love the car we bought but the buying process there is painful. Once we got home, at 1:30am, and looked over the paperwork we noticed we were charged an extra $500. We called the dealership three times in 2 days and left messages with the finance folks. We are still waiting on a reply. We walked in pre-approved and were promised they could give us a better interest rate with thier bank, they gave us a rate higher then our bank had given us. The customer service is great when you're there, but is non-existent when you leave. I'd go somewhere else.

When I came to Jersey City Ford I knew the exact vehicle I was interested in and the price I was willing to pay for it. Upon entering the dealership I was greeted by Dion Perez and Cheeky. They were both very friendly and had the car I was looking at, a 2008 Jeep Grand Cherokee, immediately pulled up for a test drive. After taking the Jeep for a drive with Dion we began talking numbers. Being that I have expereience in the auto industry I was expecting a long greuling proccess but WOW I completely impressed. Dion was willing to work with me and I liked the price we ended up with. Being that it was such a great overall experience I knew my search was over and I finally found the perfect car for a great price. Found one of their cars on Cars.com and call the dealer a week ago about the availability of the vehicle and supposely they said it was in stork. Follow up on their e mails and phone calls, set up a test drive for the weekend. Travel 3 hours to the dealer and they did not have the car and they had sold it in the morning. Later they try to sell me another car for the same price and they have outragous Dealer fees and prep vehicle fees. Bunch of liars and the lady kept liaying while I call her several times that I was on my way there. :((((

I've been a loyal customer of Jersey City Ford for almost 15 years now. I've leased 7 cars from them and for me they were like family...until this year. Apparently the dealership changed owners within the last few years and almost all of the old staff is now gone. The staff there now was not responsive and provided the worst Customer Service I've ever encountered. I unfortunately brought my boyfriend over to them and he leased his first car from them and also experienced nothing but issues. They don't respond to emails, phone calls or even text messages and when they finally do, it's either rude or just completely wrong. I'm very disappointed about my whole experience and even more disappointed that I wasn't able to get 1 of them out of the 4 people that I reached out to, to actually respond. Needless to say, neither my boyfriend or I will be going back to Jersey City Ford, nor will I EVER refer anyone to go there. After all the reviews I've read it seems that their common practice is to NOT respond to customers once you drive the car off their lot. You are not longer their problem and all they care about is making the sale.

I found a pre-owned vehicle at their Dealership on Cars.com and sent an e-mail. The dealership reached out to me the very next morning to set up an appointment to see the vehicle. At the dealership Benny was very responsive and helpful as a salesman. Rudy offered up a great price and beyond fair deal on the vehicle and took my car in trade at a good deal. Victor helped us understand all of the financing options available to us. It was a long night, but the they stayed and we got the deal done.

I have been a long time customer of Jersey City Ford Lincoln Mercury because of Carlos Rodrigues in the Service Department and as long as he is there I will be a loyal customer. He is a person who cares about his customers and will go the extra mile to make sure they are happy with the service they are receiving. It is such a pleasure to bring my truck into Carlos for service. he is always so happy which makes me start out my day happy. He always took care of my truck as if it was his own. The service I get through Carlos can not be gotten anywhere else. The care, the concern, the willingness to work with me, as I am not the easiest person in the world when I am not happy. And they were many times I would call Carlos after hours and he would pick up my call and talk to me about my truck and what is going on. I know the job will get done and get done right. Carlos is a wonderful person and Jersey City Ford Lincoln Mercury should be greatful to have a person like that on their staff. I reccomend him highly to anyone who wants to get the service that all consumers want as car owners. HE IS THE BEST!!!!!!!!

My salesman Daniel was great and made me feel as if i was a friend not paycheck. I was also very impressed about how he helped me find the right vehicle for me and my budget. My most recent experience at this dealership headquarters. Why? I was assigned Debbie Negin as my service advisor and let me tell you she was WESOME From the beginning she was on top of things and she was very detailed about the process regarding my 2011 Ford Edge. She made me feel very comfortable and I was able to work with her because of her honesty and clear cut explanations. Employees such like Debbie need or should be commended about their daily duties and job responsibilities. I have been there about 3 times prior to meeting Debbie and in all honesty my experience was not that all efficient and the wait times were killers. I know your shop is very very busy but to see someone like Debbie with her smile, explain the entire contents of what will be done, how long along it will take along with her honesty, I have no complaints. Working in the customer service field (Myself), I experienced Debbie ability to multitask and adapt to change in that type of hectic environment. GREAT JOB DEBBIE!!! and thank the cashiers too! I travel from Long Island to Jersey City Ford looking for a specific Car. They told me that they would be able to help me and once I got there they had the car ready waiting for a test drive. They were extremely helpful and nice. I was able to take the car home with me the same day. They took care of all the paperwork and within a couple of hours I was on my way back to Long Island. I had a great experience and it made my trip to Jersey well worth it. I now have a car that is comfortable, convenient and affordable.

Jersey City Ford sold us two vans on which they had received half their value by certified check. The vehicles arrived the following night after 10pm instead of 7am that morning. The contracts for the vehicles were brought at that time instead of given to the person that signed them. During their review, it turned out that we got ripped off for more than $12,000 altogether on those contracts, however because they were signed, the dealer had assured as that it's too bad. What is too bad is that the person doing the original negotiations was held at the dealer for more than 6 hours and was unable to stay during the signing of the contract and the person responsible was told that they had been reviewed and to speed things up all he needed to do was to SIGN. Jersey City Ford refused to talk to us or cancel our contracts even when we were in the 72-hr grace period. After that period, they made us sign another letter saying that they can't change anything on the contracts, but are willing to give us a partial refund on their profit from the extended warranty. At that time they were also to revise the contracts accordingly with the refund and send it for processing to Ford Credit so that we don't get excessive monthly charges. None of that has happened, in fact, Ford Warranty had advised our company that the warranty can be cancelled at any point in time and that that information was in the contract...if we only received it. It turned out that we are missing 15 undisclosed pages of the contract which listed all the terms and conditions and which should have been disclosed prior to signing. Therefore, we initiated the cancellation of the entire warranty on both vehicles only to find out that only one warranty was registered on one vehicle (We were charged $3,500 on each vehicle and the actual cost of the warranty as per another dealer should be $1,800). We have now involved a lawyer in this situation, as Jersey City Ford is ignoring all our forms of communication and is not cooperating with anything including the refund of warranty which has already been cancelled through Ford Warranty and revision of contracts to exclude the warranty and all the other rip-off items. We were also supposed to receive a refund of the difference in dmv registration costs and have not heard anything at all. To this day, we are paying the monthly payments from the original rip-off contract which we are not in possession of as it was taken away by Jersey City Ford at the time of signing the other deceitful letter and no one has contacted us since mid-October regarding this case.
