I never write reviews but this place is a major scam. I went to the national city branch and was looking for something used but reliable and found a toyota carolla 2007. seemed in decent condition other than the minor interior faults that they did end up fixing. the antenna was loose though which was strange so they fixed that. it only has 72,000 miles on it. i had it for about a month then a part in the interior came completely off on the indie near the window out of nowhere. a month goes by after that and then suddenly the check engine light comes on. i checked all fluids first and then called their mechanic Alex about bringing it in. he said come by the following morning. so i get in my car the next day and it wont even turn on. completely dead. what the xxxx. only 2.5 months ive had this car and it stops working??! such a scam. im paying 12,000 about for this. its such crap. i called them to complain and try to fix the issue and Alex the mechanic brushed me off and then the manager told me to call back in a n hour he wasnt authorized to help....i would never ever recommend this place to anyone. i went to a dealership thinking i would be safe. all i have to say is DO YOUR RESEARCH. now im stuck with this crap car that im sure will have even more problems. places like this deserve to be burned down. for sure reporting them to Better Business Bureau. DO NOT BUY FROM HERE.

Me and my husband bought 2 cars, from there in May. His car only has minor issues. Mine on other hand has balding tires, passenger window does not work , Battery has died 3 times, tire monitoring system had completely malfunctioned, was missing right blinker light , right fog light is completely gone, wipers were unusable, and was missing antenna. I have called and called got antenna and right blinker fixed. I was given run around over getting that fixed cost 2 round trips for Oceanside to Esco. I was told my window was to be fixed then as well but they put in a used part which failed next day. (was "fixed" by K&L auto) I call about these issues , get told they will take care of it but still nothing. During test drive I was told all was checked and in great condition. Also my driver seat is unsecure, it does tilt about 3 ins forward on right side when breaking.Now the another matter it has been 6 weeks and the have yet to finish the registration, or transfer title to bank. My husbands car received his with in 1st week. after talking with DMV and calling Karzplus again ( they tried to say oh we just needed to wait ) We finally hear back that my husband had to sign a paper to finish the process. Moral of story if you go here you have a 50+% chance of getting screwed. I would never buy from here again or tell anyone to go here.

At frist they were nice and were helpful. After i strted noticing all these small problems with my car and asked them to fix it they dis a horrible job at fixing my car! They were so slow at changing the title name to my bank but tey were sure fast to cash my check.. They are good at hiding things too my car is now having problems and i got the car not even a year ago.. This dealership is not honest and not worthy. I never write reviews but this dealership is a horrible olace to buy a car and i want to warn people.. I will report them to the bbb because they are theives and liers all they want is your money and they dont even fix your car properly.. Do not shop at this dealership you will regret it like i have.

I purchased my '03 dodge Durango 3yrs ago I finally paid it off and let me tell u ever since I bought the suv it has gaved me nothing but problems. After signing deal 35 days later my water pump leaks then my right passenger window stops working and when I called them about the situation it was like oh well!! Wth!! I'm stuck with a 320.00 payment and I buy a car from dealer thinking it's k so I don't have to worry about it breaking down on me and what does it do yes after 35 th day nothing but problems n lots of money down the drain!! Please don't make a mistake eventhough they seem like the only place they can help u buy a car but don't do it!!!

Ok I have my whisky in my hand and I am in a good mood: I don't write reviews but this one really deserves one. I purchased my Dodge Durango from Karz Plus in Escondido; it's was an OK experience. The car lot is nice the sales people are all right, when I purchased my car I was offered an extanded warranty, but I always had doubt about the coverage. Than my car broke down and I was reffered to K&T auto repair I called to check why my car was over heating and I asked the shop if I could make an appointment: I was told that they were backed up and had to call some other day, this made me mad, so I called the warranty company and was given the phone number for another shop. I called Value Auto Repair I was connected to Alex, he told me to bring my car and he would take care of it while I wait, well, I had a problem with my radiator and to my luck it's not covered by my warranty because I have covarage for Engine and transmisison. Next, Alex makes some phone calls and gets me a radiator for $100.00 and gets it installed for $50.00 and all of this in 2 hours. I was told that this does not happen all the time and good karma will bring him luck. WOW I appriciate Karz Plus and their associate shop for such service. I drink to that...lol.....

I am taking my time to write this review because I really mean it. I have had purchased many used vehicles and I always had problem with things that goes wrong with cars after purchase. I purchased a 2005 Kia Sedona from Oceanside the sales experience was good but it took a long time maybe because my credit or who knows; I drove the vehicle for two months and I had the confidence that vehicle was trustworthy to take it for long trip, so I did; I went to Las Vegas, however, my car broke down in Las Vegas: I called my extanded warranty and the assisted me by towing the vehicle to a repair shoe where they recommended some work which was authorized by Karz Plus although non of items were covered items, pep boys could not get the car to start becuase they could't diagnosis the the problem, from there they tow the car to local Kia dealership where Kia recommended to OPEN the engine to see the cause of failure.....I called Karz Plus they brought the vehicle to Alex at National City on Tuesday I was contacted by Alex who made me feel everthing was going to all rights and there was nothing to worry about anything and I was promissed the vehicle would be running by thursday and guess what it happened. This is real people and appriciate every attempt made by Karz plus----ALex and the extanded warranty company. I recommended this place to my family members.

I was reffered to karzPlus by another dealership in La Jolla and it has turned into the biggest nightmare of my life!I bought a car and noticed that there were a handful of things that needed to get fixed. I was told by Jose that because it was Saturday (mechanic shop was closed) that if I took the car home that night I could bring the car on Monday morning and he would have everything fixed. He told me to call him at 9am when they opened to make sure the mechanic was there. I called at 10 and was told by July the so called manager that he would be in at 12. So I take my lunch and drive 15 mins to take my car up there and July tells me "oh Jose called and said hes running late, hell be here soon" SO I waited and I waited and I waited, 1:15 rolls around and I ask her again if Jose is here and now she tells me he's coming at 3:30. I was pissed.Then on Tuesday finally talk to Jose after every person in that office claimed that they didn't know what was going on. I bring my car back on Wednesday and they give me a sorry ass loaner car and tell me that my car will be ready Saturday. Saturday rolls around and I call and they tell me "oh your car won't be ready because the Auto Shop was closed" What the hell? But I was told it would be ready Saturday. I call the following Monday and they tell me my car is not ready. So at this point I call the auto shop and they tell me that they never started work on the car because KarzPlus said that the quote was too high, then they decided to pick my car up. Had I not called to check on the status of my car, it's still would have been sitting at the auto shop.Then they tell me they are taking it Alex's shop... tell me it will be ready Thursday. Thursday rolls around and I call and Craig and the rude ass Manager that sit in the back tell me that I need to talk to July who will be in later. I called 3 times after the time they told me call and each time they told me "oh she's running late, call back later"So I call the auto shop and he tells me that he has not started work on the car becuase Craig (the guy who keeps telling me call back later) told him not to start work on the car) at this point they have had my car over a week.I would not recommend KarzPlus to my worst enemy. Everyone is nice while trying to make that sell, but once the deal is done, they will treat you like trash and make empty promices.DO NOT GO TO KARZPLUS

I usually don't write review, but I have to say my experience at karz plus was great. I told the owner what I was looking for. A 04 or newer f-150, and he found something even better then I was hoping for. I usually dont like the hole buying a car experiance but It was very easy and painless here. I'll be goin back for my second car. Great place.

VERY UNHAPPY WITH THIS PLACE!I purchased a car from the Escondido branch less than a month ago. The night I drove it off the lot, my boyfriend and I went to get gas and noticed the front right tire was low. It also stalled almost every time I would try and start it. My boyfriend put air in the tire and had me call the following day to schedule a time to fix the low idling (the cause of the stalling). During the drive home, the car sounded funny; I could feel every little bump in the road; the drive wasn't smooth at all, but didn't know why. That weekend they fixed the idling and I haven't had a problem since. That weekend, my boyfriend found someone's Social Security Card in the cassette deck and someone's Visa debit card in the passenger door. The following day we went to Pep Boys to get the car serviced, and the mechanic said there was no oil and all four tires were bad; two of them were so bad that they were splitting in the middle and he said I shouldn't have been driving on those tires. Five days after that, my front brakes start to grind a little, then two days after that, the e-brake popped out of place...THREE TIMES!! I made another appointment at the dealership to have the GPS removed and was going to address these issues when I got there, but the guy didn't show up. I drove all the way from Lakeside!! I called him a couple days later and asked him why he wasn't there; family emergency, he said. I told him of my issues and told him the car should have been thoroughly inspected because I just had a baby, and that he shouldn't have put me in an unsafe vehicle. I also told him his concern should have been more on safety and less on commission. He told me a mechanic did inspect the car, and I told him that he needs to get a new mechanic because had my car been properly and thoroughly inspected, I wouldn't be having these issues. I made an appointment for today to have my car serviced, and he offered to put me in a loaner car. I'm nervous because what if the loaner car is unsafe too? I don't want to pay for any immediate repairs on a car I'll only have for a few days. I really hope they redeem themselves by making these repairs, or they will be hearing from me again. Will keep you posted!P.S. I asked on three different occasions for them to show me the Carfax...they have not UPDATE - I went to the dealership last night, and again, the guy was not there. I was pissed! The manager, Ryan, decided he wanted to get something to eat instead of help and upset customer, and when he returned, he made it sound like it was my problem that I have the issues I do, and as far as the grinding brakes, he said I was speculating. Everyone knows what bad brakes sound like.I am currently in a loaner car with a sticker on the windshield that reads "Smog Check OK," yet the check engine light is on. The glove box doesn't close, and the fuse box is uncovered. This car is for sale on their lot "As Is, No Warranty." The guy who didn't show up called be about 20 minutes ago. I told him he owed me an apology, and that I was really disappointed. He replied "For what?" Are you serious??? I told him this was his second no-show and he should have either called to reschedule or have someone else take care of me in his absence. I'm supposed to get my car back this afternoon....I really hope the repairs are made because if they're not, I will be back!

I bought a 99 tahoe with 61000 miles(and some change) which I feel was probably turned back because after a month and a half everything started breaking on the vehicle. ryan said it would cost 800.00 to fix the front axle hubs( which would have been spotted in their so-called safety inspection,haha). ryan said they would pay half because it is a receation vehicle (because it is lifted,he's such a dumass..first of all its a 99 tahoe thats been lifted not a recreational vehicle. alex ,their mechanic is a staight shooter and a hell of a nice guy but karz plus staff is a big joke. all they want to do is rip u off..karz plus can kiss my buttt. I wouldn't recomend karz plus to wipe your buttt...

I purchased a 2004 chevy Impala from Karz Plus my credit is very bad due to a divorce- so I could afford a high millage vehicle-the warranty was 30days and my car broke down after 60 days--I called Craig and I was directed to call Alex---who is a very nice and handsome mechanic(I am divorced;lol)I went to his place and he fixed my vehicle in 4hours and told me to have a nice day without charge. I appriciate his gesture and service. I recommend this place to everyone in need of a car.

Kars Plus does seem like they scheme a lot of customers probably, but so far they have been decent for me. I am one of those customers mentioned in one of the above reviews that they tend to prey on. I know my car payment is too high and I paid too much for the Monte Carlo I drive from there. But so far I have had no MAJOR problems with the vehicle. I can tell after the fact that it may have been in an accident, but I don't EVEN want to see that for a fact on CARFAX because that will really hurt my feelings lol...I bought a Volkswagen Beetle from them originally and it did not give me any MAJOR problems, but several minor ones...luckily I had a good mechanic at that time. After I kept the Beetle for a couple of years, they allowed me to trade it in for the Monte Carlo...it was a fairly easy process, and my payment stayed basically the same for a much higher end and newer vehicle with less miles.I am in quite a bit of debt with Kars Plus right now, but, my credit rating is very poor, and when you have that mark against you, sometimes you have no choice but to deal with places like them. Sad, but true. Before I went to Kars Plus, I had tried to purchase a vehicle from several higher end dealerships, but was denied each time, and every time you apply for credit, we all know that knocks a couple of points off you rating...so I had to do what I had to do!My heart goes out to any of you that have had major issues with Kars Plus, and I am knocking on wood as I type.I see several Kars Plus paper license plates on vehicles as I travel the city, so obviously a lot of us are in the same boat. Despicable operation that needs to be looked into and shut down. They deliberately sell cars that will fall apart and break down with the first few months of having it. They do not include a fact sheet (they make you request it and many of their clients do not know to ask) reputable places include it automatically with the sales of their cars. They prey upon there vulnerable clientele. The people at KarzPlus are only there because they have little to no other alternative. Typically low income with poor credit and this dealership depends on its clients lack of knowledge and funds to keep themselves in business. Do NOT go here, they are crooks. I will be doing all I can to contact Turko and make this terrible, dishonest, place be known for what it is. My car was in the shop the first month I had it and they refused to honor the warranty claiming it was my fault the engine is no good. I have had this cars less than six months and have barely put any miles on it because it has been at THEIR shop the entire time!

I recently purchased a used car from the Karz Plus Escondido location and I had a very quick and stress free experience. The employees were friendly and very accomodating to my needs. I was able to find a car that fit my needs and I was treated with respect during my entire experience. I would definitely recommend Karz Plus in Escondido to friends and family.

we went to karz plus to get a used car and we didn't have good credit. they financed the car but then at the end changed what we had been told after we signed the paperwork. Then when we said we would not do what they were asking they said well just take the car its not our problem. Once we got it home things just got dramatically worse. The car had had body work done by an idiot, glue and bondo everywhere. Whole brackets gone and other pieces being held together with 3" screws and no brackets. When they were notified about this their response was nothing just nothing did deny it just said nothing we can or will do. This group is a vicious group of lairs trying to screw with people just because they have had credit problems and could care less whether it gets someone hurt or worse. Stay very far away.

I spoke to both Josh and Ryan on the phone. They were both very friendly and helpful. They both assured me I could puchase a car with no more then $1000 down. I drove allllllll the way down to Escondido from Rancho Cucamonga, about 90 miles, just to purchase from them. When I got there the salesman acted like I was bothering him. Showed me 2 cars. An old van, and a suv with 115,000 miles on it! He was so rude to me, I mean RUDE!!! He said "thats all we got, you need more money, sorry come back later if your still interested"What's funny about the situation, is that I was honestly willing to put down up to $2,500. But after the nasty way he was acting, I wouldn't give him a dime!! I went over to another dealer in my neighborhood. They treated me great! In fact, I'm friends with the sales manager now! I gave the $1,800 and drove off with a TIGHT black Ford Expedtion!!! It's 9 passengers and the bomb!! So take that you KAR LOSERS!!!!

Purchased 2001 Ford Expedition, We were promised air conditioner to be fixed and air shocks pump fixed. Also, tires were warped and worn and out of balance. These problems were promised to be fixed. We left them this vehicle "Four different Times" ! each time saying they had fixed problems. Air pump stayed noisey, Air conditioner worked for a week and again no cold air (still not working) tires still warped. (Had to buy New tires $700) Eventually, they denied our welcome and we were asked not to come back, for they would not do any more. This vehicle was at their shop for the first Four Months, almost the whole time !!! While we were there, several people in line for vehicle repairs and all very dissatisafied ! Awfull!! I would never recomend this place. They sold us an 03 Audi A6 and less then two weeks later it starts to mess up on us that eventually led to a bigger prolem as in a $2,385.72 problem to fix the car. The mechanic at the National City gave us the run around for months and months he WOULD NOT fix the initial problem. Now we're stuck with a car that reverses only when it wants to. My husband literally has to push the car out of a parking spot at times how embarassing! They really shouldn't even be allowed to do sales they're so rediculouse it's time these people be reported to the BBB

I bought a VW Jetta from the Oceanside Dealership and it was horrible. We traded in a good running vehicle for something more modern and about a week later the engine light came on. I returned to the dealership and they said it was a cooling fan problem and claimed to have fixed it. Another week later light comes back on, I take it to get tested and its the cooling fan problem again! I take it back they claim that my warranty didnt suffice this time because of the mileage. Months later I get a flat and come to find that I need a lock key to change the tire and it was no where to be found in the car. I looked everywhere and I called them several times and asked for it to be replaced and the first time they tell us our dealer isnt in. The second time we asked to speak to a manager and "hes not in." we called in almost everyday and nothing. No call back, no manager. My one last attempt they say theres a note saying it was in the glove compartment. I looked everywhere and there was still nothing and they still wouldnt replace it. I would not in a million recommend this dealership to anyone. They are horrible!!!

I went to this dealership because i was told they can finance anyone with bad credit and because my job requires me to have a vehicle I decided to go on ahead and check it out. And yes with my bad credit I was able to be financed however the salesperson was extremely aggressive and didn't listen to what I was looking for the car I was financed for a completely over-priced car. I had to go back on numerous occassions to get something fixed on it and the general manager definitley wasn't listening to a damn thing. Mind you all of this went on within the first month of me even having this so called "reliable car." I wouldn't even tell my worst enemy to invest in such a crappy company. They were decietful, they don't listen, the cars aren't even worth the payments. I don't know what kind of business they're running but it is just not worth anyones time or energy.

I would not reccomend this dealer to anyone. I'm a first time buyer and I feel as though I was taken advantage of. The customer service was great the quality of the product was horrible. I traded in my perfectly running car for something a little bit more up to date and as soon as I drove it off the lot half way home the service engine light comes on now its going on the third attempt to fix this piece of crap... its seems like they want me to continue coming back I don't know what kind of business they're running but the "k" in karzplus stands for KLUNKER!!! DO NOT buy from them they are not trustworthy at all.

I purchased a car with Karz Plus Oceanside with the agreement that work was to be done on the car (written up in the contract). After purchasing the car, over 20 phone calls to coordinate fixing the car, 3 months, and 3 attempts to leave it in Oceanside to have it fixed, only 1 of the 4 problems were ever taken care of. The rest malfunctions caused me hundreds of dollars of repair costs. The most recent Karz Plus trip left them flat out refusing to fix the one last item they wrote up themselves in the contract.

I kept seeing these guys on TV ads saying they finance anyone. I thought it would be anyone except me. I filled out an online credit application and I was contacted by Gary B the internet sales guy. He told me what to bring to get a car, license paystub cell bill and a piece of mail super easy. I couldn't believe it that I could get a car because I had a car repossessed last year and I only had been working 9 months on my job. Gary was super cool and didn't beat me up about having crap credit and a repossession. He treated me like my credit was good. I told him I was short a few hundred bucks on the down payment and he let me pay the money I was short in small payments. Anyway I got a little 4 door automatic that gets great mileage (I am a single dad) and my payment is like 310 so I am good with it. I would recommend going to the Karzplus at E street and 3rd in Chula Vista (I know they have other spots) but those guys are super cool. I drove away with my car the day I went in!

I give this place a negative score! The location is with in walking distance of my house which is how i found out about it. My husband and I need a 2nd car. I had called prior to visiting and spoke to a salesman on the phone. He took my information and although it was the longest exchange in the world, because he couldn't understand my American accent, he was excited to tell me that everything looked great with our credit and to come on down. I just went to check out what they had on the lot. The sales man was SO rude from the start. Before even introducing himself to me he started asking to see my pay stubs etc. I let him know that I wanted to see what he had on the lot before letting him take copies of anything like that. Then he showed me cars by pointing across the lot and saying 'Theres that one, that one and that one'. I specifically asked him about a car of interest and he again asked for my pay check stubs. I told him again that i didnt think my pay check stubs had anything to do with my interest in looking at a car. He almost begrudgingly went in and got the keys, handed them to me and then gave me a voucher and told me to go put gas in the car. I was in shock! Is this what Karz plus does to save time and money? Ask your customers to do your job for you? Ok.....so i put gas in the car. As i rode around i noticed that everything in this car was broken. All the little door handles and nobs were broken etc. Paper was stuffed in where the latches were to hold the little doors closed (sunglasses holder, cd holder etc.)in an attempt to hide the fact that they were useless. When I got out of the car the sales man complained that I didn't park the car correctly in the place it was originally. You know how they park them very close together at a perfect angle...I wasnt the perfect distance in between the other 2 cars. He asked if i wanted the car and I asked how much it was. He told me that he didnt know how much it was but he NEEDED to see my pay stubs. Again i told him what my pay stubs say, but that he didnt need to see them at this point. He went around in circles with me about this and refused to tell me the price of the car stating that only the manager knows etc...i had my laptop with me so I told him I knew their car prices were on the internet, i could just look it up. He got angry or hostile and started saying that they werent correct and that he needed to see my stubs and only the manager would know the pricing but I couldnt see him until he took my pay check stubs. Somewhere in this weird dialogue I asked about all the broken doors and handles and he said the car comes 'As Is'. That surprised me that the company went to the length of lodging the doors shut with paper pieces in an attempt to cover up what a crappy car it was. SO in the end i told the guy that there were several lots around and I wasnt interested in working any further with him. As i started walking back to my car he shouted "Youll be back" I did try to call to speak to a manager after everything and of course he was always gone or unavailable and none of my messages have been returned as of yet. For the record- I am a very presentable and professional female. My credit is decent as is my husbands. I had no idea what kind of lot this was......now i know. DONT GO THERE!

A very close friend went to the National City dealership to look at cars with the desire to buy a good used car. She was immediately approached by an agressive salesaman named Jason who would not quit asking her and her son if they wanted to buy a car. Although they responded that they were just looking, Jason would not stop asking. When my friend sat down to discuss buying a car, Jason ran her figures and called her a "stupid ass" because she didn't have a valid license-- which she did actually have. He continued to insult her and said she had been instructed to bring $2000. She replied that she had been working with Jose and had made a decision not to buy the car she had been originally considering and Jose had informed her that she could get a cheaper car with a $500 down payment. When my friend's son told Jason to stop insulting his mother, Jason yelled at her son and told him to get off his lot. When he left, Jason told my friend that because her son had "insulted" him, he would not sell her a car and she was blocked from buying a car from any Karz Plus dealerships. Who in the world wants to buy a car from people who verbally abuse prospective customers!!
