I was in Kentucky today and unfortunately locked my keys in my new truck that I got from Mr. Ben Vance and thought I was in trouble. However I called Ben after business hours and he was very helpful in walking me through the process with on star and my Chevy link and with his help was able to unlock my truck within minutes. He is very dedicated to his job and customers I can't thank him enough for the help. I recommend Ben Vance and his team at Kunes country Chevy in elkhorn to everyone!!!!!!

I had a great experience at kunes in elkhorn and with sales person Ben Vance. He was patient and helpful with find the right vehicle for me and my family. Never got pushy or tried to rush me into anything even after me taking up 3 to 4 days of his. Ended up getting a brand new chevy malibu and couldn't be happier with it.

Erik was honestly the best sales person I've had the pleasure to work with. He has the no pressure approach and actually cared about getting me the best deal on a vehicle and payment I was happy with. Even after the sale, he went above and beyond to make sure everything was going great. I had some warranty issues shortly after purchase and he made it a priority to rectify the issues and again went above what was expected. I recently purchased a 2017 Equinox from randy Rollins. The transaction was very easy for me. Randy was very straight forward with the whole transaction answering all my questions. Lana is very knowledgeable, patient, & made us feel that our satisfaction was her number one concern. Phone calls returned ASAP, and she answered all of our questions. First of all, I got my first leased vehicle from Ben in May of 2015. Then, about a week ago, I received a call to meet with Ben about perhaps leasing a newer vehicle. Being a little skeptical, I was not expecting to get a new car that same day - but I did, and I am extremely pleased. The Chevy Trax has been a dream of mine for a few months now, and Ben at Kunes Country Chevrolet made it possible. I couldn't be more pleased.

Service department flat out lied about doing a service to my car. I wont list the person's name, but if you read this you know EXACTLY who you are. I spoke with a manager about what happened and was told to bring the car back to have the service performed. I brought it back a second time and once again was told a particular service was done to my vehicle by the same liar that said it was done the first time. I knew it was a lie because my car wasn't moved from the same spot where I left it on my arrival to the dealership at 9:30 am until the time I picked it up at 4:45 pm. The car wasn't touched. I intentionally noted some things on the vehicle before I left it just to see if anything would really be done and just as expected.. IT WASN'T!. I didn't bother to go back to the manager.. It was obviously useless the first time. I will NEVER do business with this dealership again and most certainly will not bring it to the service department for any kind of work whatsoever. I will not refer anyone to go here. It was BY FAR the worst experience I've ever encountered in all my years of buying cars. I will be taking my vehicle to another place I can trust for the work and repairs needed to be done. If I could do it all over again, I would have stayed clear of this place!.

Erik went above and beyond to help me get my F-150! I've had bad experiences at other dealerships but that wasn't the case here. It was a very smooth process and they even delivered the truck to my home. I'll definitely be returning when it's time to upgrade my wife's vehicle!

First of all, I drove from Oklahoma to look to purchase this van. I was supposed to be at the dealership on Friday but showed a day early. The van was not completely ready ( not their fault). The dealership put me up for the night free of charge at a local lodge , which they didn't have to do. I drove the van on Friday and it was exactly what I was looking for. I purchased the van with no problems from Kunes Chevrolet and am very satisfied. Thanks to all that were involved in my deal....... I will be seeing them for my next automobile. Thanks again

I initially came in to view a used Mazda for sale and was helped by Erik Beckstrom. He was able to get my information and allowed me to take a test drive. I did not purchase anything that day because I had recently graduated and was currently in the job market and didn't want to buy anything prematurely. Erik was very understanding and gave me his contact information. He actually then contacted me a week later with a discounted offer which I was interested in. I came back a few days later to take another look. Unfortunately, Erik had off that day but I was greeted by Jasper Cicero who was also very friendly and patient. I took another test drive and weighed my options and they honored the discount that Erik had offered so i decided to purchase the car. I felt relaxed and not pressured at all and I would recommend this dealership and the team to everyone.

Im probably one the "difficult customers" I came in at my leases end looking to lease something else. I had no clue what i wanted, or what features were important to me. Basicslly giving them nothing to go on. I drove about 5 different cars before finally becoming attached to one. Scott, Rick, and Randy all helped me with extreme patience and understanding. Not a single second where i felt rushed to decide or the professionalism wavered, even though i had to be driving them crazy... i was even driving myself crazy with my indecisiveness. I highly recommend the dealership to anyone.

Car buying can be a frustrating time consuming experience. Not at Kunes Country. I was greeted by a friendly no pressure salesperson. Brian Spotz took the time to show me all the vehicle's options, and he explained them thoroughly. He was patient and allowed me to become familiar with the vehicle at my own pace. Jason Braun setup all my financing very quickly, he was a pleasure to work with. In all I was able pick out a vehicle, trade in a vehicle, and secure financing all in just under 3 hours. This is a first rate auto dealership with a courteous staff, and I will definitely return for all my future vehicle buying needs.

My wife and I were contemplating buying a new car, when we stopped to look at some vehicles. Since we were not ready to buy just then, Lana showed us different cars, and help us decide on a vehicle for the future needs. We took over a week of her time, but she was patient and helpful every step of the way. Ben Vance and Tim Kune's could not have been any more helpful. Buying a vehicle can be a harrowing experience if you don't meet with the right people. I've bought many vehicles over the years and cannot remember ever receiving the attention and professionalism of these two young men. We will definitely visit them again.

I visited Kunes with the intention of buying my first new car. I had no idea what I wanted and no idea what would work best for me. Ben took the time to help me find the perfect vehicle for me and stayed patient and helpful with me through the whole process. He helped me find a great Volkswagen Passat that had everything I was looking for in a car and was still in my budget. After seeing 777 Customs at the Milwaukee Auto Show I met with Marcos to talk about new rims and tires for my Wrangler. I gave him a budget and a few examples of what I had in mind and he took it from there. He also suggested a leveling kit to accommodate the larger tires, get the look I wanted and stay within my budget. Marcos even sent me sneak peek pictures as they worked on my Jeep. I couldn't be happier with the quality of the parts they selected and the customer service I received.

The entire experience from making the selection through closing the purchase transaction was "first class"; professional! Randy Rollins "knows his business" and was most helpful in guiding my wife and I with every step along the way. I was searching on the internet for a red SRX. I was immediately contacted by Ben. (email) He asked if I wanted bright red or dark red. I told him I preferred bright red. I later found out they only come in one color red, and I emailed him that, no response. (I would think he would have known that!) I went elsewhere, found exactly what I wanted and purchased it the same day. I am very happy with my new red SRX. Today, over a week later I received an email from Ben saying he has one for me to test drive. TOO LATE! I thought he had forgotten about me! I really wanted to buy local since I has purchased my last four cars from Kunes in Elkhorn. I do want to say that I have always had my cars serviced at Kunes and the service department in wonderful.

Purchasing a car from Kunes Country of Elkhorn was one of the best experiences I EVER had. The sales man ( Mike Oberthaler) was courteous and efficient. I did the transaction over e-mail and phone, no surprises and everything to the point. Mike provided all details and hotel information to make the trip easy and pleasant. Once at the dealer, the total transaction took only about 30 min. After 40 years of dealing with car salesman I couldn't believe how smooth the transaction was. Oh, I don't want to neglect the business manager, one of the best persons to deal with!I just wan to say, next time I am on the market for a vehicle, they will be on my number ONE list to deal with. It doesn't matter that I would have to do the drive again! No wonder they pride on getting repeat customers... That's the way to keep on growing! I worked with two other dealers, one in Oconomowoc, and the other in Collinsville, IL. Over 5 weeks I literally tried to buy a truck with them. I heard things like "We can't go that low", or "that package is too much for the payment you are willing to make"! So.... On Thursday, the 11th of February, I called Kunes and worked with Mark Jennison. I told him he had the truck I wanted and I also shared my experience so far. He was very sensitive to his competitors and was determined that they could make it work. He invited me to come in the next day! Friday the 12th came and went with me driving home my 2016 Apex Silverado. Jason from finance worked from the night before up to the moment I signed a contract to get me into that truck. Mark has continued to follow up with me to make sure my experience was satisfactory. His assistant Brian has worked with me on getting a cover for my bed and when I came in I was greeted by all of them. Now that is how it's supposed to happen! Thanks to all the people at Kunes. Other dealers told me they would find me a car to no avail, I gave Mark a description of what I wanted which was very specific & probably more specific than it should have been & he found it in a matter of an hour or two ! I have been buying cars from Randy Rollins since I could drive a car and I am not young anymore. He is always great to deal with. He is friendly, courteous, and low pressure. I wouldn't hesitate to send anyone I know in his direction. Also I have done a lot of business with the service department at this dealership and they are top notch. Marcos Perez and Kelia Perez are the dream team! They are the easiest people to work with. They helped me find a great car for a great price. Marcos was super friendly and answered every question that I had on the vehicle. He made sure I was taken care of. Kelia worked very hard to find a bank who would finance me, and made sure that the payments were within my budget. I absolutely love my 2014 Ford Focus! As a person who purchases a new car about every two or three years I have had a lot of experience at dealerships. My experience at Kunes Elkhorn has been the best yet. The sales staff treated me with respect and courtesy and made it evident that they were there to address all of my needs. The finance staff made the paperwork very transparent and simple. I was given top dollar for my trade-in and there was no pressure from the sales staff. It was made available to me, however, I was also not pushed into buying extended warranties or protection plans that I was not interested in. The entire process was made very simple and enjoyable.

Bought a 2006 Chevy Avalanche it has a sqeaking noise the salesman Jeremy said was a A/C belt. I am on disability and feel taken advantage of. He was going to include a full tank of gas but was just above half. The noise has gotten louder and really loud now! My mechanic found the front axle nuts were not even on it. Kunes said they must have "fell off" talked to several dealers they state driving it that way I was lucky it didn't cause an accident and stated it could have been deadly. They are now ignoring me. I had other dealers tell me the nuts are lock nuts they "can't just fall off". There are belts pullys and bearings I have paid to replace and the noise is extremely loud now even though I don't put many miles on. I contacted the General Manager Scott Kunes but he never even replied. Now seeking legal action and having to get this diagnosed but has to be at a GM dealer. Very upset and taken advantage of. Never buy from them!

Kunes Country of Elkhorn made it exceptionally easy to nail down the exact SUV we were searching for! Our salesman, Mark Jennison, let us test ride several vehicles to narrow that search. Mark insisted that we drive a vehicle over the weekend to be certain of what we desired. From that weekend drive, we realized that we needed more of the safety options and a different interior than what was available on the lot. Mark Jennison was absolutely determined to find us the Yukon we were looking for. Mark went above and beyond the call of duty to find our vehicle within a single day and we'll always be grateful for that! Some of the pros to buying a care from Kunes Country were, delivery of vehicle, easy transaction without driving 100 miles. Cons were the hidden charge of $299.00 added to the contract without warning. Lack of communication between the sales person and myself.

I found a use 2014 Camaro they had listed online that was priced right and had everything I wanted. Problem was that I live in North Dakota and the car was in Elkhorn, WI. I dealt with Jeremy Millian and decided to purchase the car. I flew into Milwaukee on a Friday morning and was picked up by a driver from the dealership. After arriving and test driving the car I was out of the dealership in 15 minutes and on the road back to North Dakota. Jeremy and the staff at the dealership were organized and great to work with.

My wife and I went to Kunes Chevrolet in Elkhorn because they had a GMC Canyon that we were interested in buying. We were planning to trade in my 2009 Pontiac Vibe. We had checked Kelly Blue Book and found that the dealer trade-in value should be between $3300-$4100. Kunes came with an initial offer of $1000. After some "haggling", the salesperson begrudgingly said they might be able to go as high as $2000. My wife and I were pretty taken aback by the low-ball offer. We were also a bit upset because our salesperson, Jake Ross, kept getting called away by other employees, as though our potential sale was not very important. Jake was a nice enough guy, but lacked the sales approach of making the customer feel like they are his most important priority. We left and found the same truck at another dealership who offered us $3500 for trade-in; no haggling needed. And the salesperson there treated us like he needed us to be there. We will not be returning to Kunes for anything... ever.

Called ahead to verify the internet price listed on the Kunes Country Website of a vehicle. Upon arrival to the dealership the same day I was told the discount's listed online had now expired and the price had gone up. While trying to negotiate a deal I was told another individual was test driving the car I was attempting to purchase. I will not recommend or return.***Update, I just noticed the dealer responded below to my review--the dishonesty continues. The website listed no discounts or rebates, and I called to confirm the price before driving over an hour to the dealership. The price didn't go up until another customer became interested in the same car. They then raised the price in an attempt to create a bidding war between us.. Later that week I purchased the same vehicle elsewhere for less, don't get stuck with a Kunes.

Found the vehicle and called and made an offer, Rick Higgins was respectful and quickly returned with an acceptable offer. We did most of the correspondence over the phone and spent less than 40 minutes at the dealership.I was able to accomplish this because the dealership along with Rick were very honest and clear on the description and condition of the vehicle. Both Rick and Kris were excellent at explaining my options from warranties to financing without me feeling pressured so that I could make the right decision that was right for me. It was the first time that I can remember leaving thinking I got a fair deal and would go back to the dealership again and recommend both the dealership and Rick to friends and family. Thank You!

We came in browsing for a few days. Our older vehicles we taking a turn for the worst and we were in need of something. We looked at a few different vehicles. We wanted something reliable and that we loved. We ended up driving a few different vehicles we were focused on one in particular. The next day after a whole lot of thinking and discussing we ended up driving away with a 2011 Ford F-150 love the color!! Drives amazing! Couldn't be happier! Amazing service and people are great! Would recommend Rick Higgins and Tim Kunes to everyone.

We came into Kunes on a Saturday afternoon and we were greeted by Mark. We gave him our lease requests and told him we had fifteen minutes to talk; he never flinched, but gave us a short look at the cars we were interested in. Then we said we would be back on the following Thursday afternoon and requested details on two models. Mark followed up and on the next Thursday, after only two hours, we drove off with a car and a lease that met our needs. No pressure to accept substitutes or purchase upgrades we didn't want. A pleasurable experience with both Mark and Kris in the business office.

To those a Kunes Country,First off let me state that Mark Jennison was exemplary in his effort and dedication to the entire experience both my wife and I had while locating our 2013 Escalade.I had reached out to several dealers who showed limited interest in my search and choice, but, fell short of the experience and satisfaction of locating said vehicle. Mark stayed with the opportunity. He was in constant contact, and understood my mindset and desire. The style and type was as important to us as was the price. Mark coordinated the entire transaction up to and including the final reprogramming of one of the Key FOB's. Mark took the height of our impression to a point of exceeding expectations. This occurred when the vehicle was delivered to us along with proper vehicle registration and the necessary documents that needed to be signed.The condition of the Escalade was excellent as Mark described which also exceeded our expectations. Keep in mind I purchased this vehicle sight unseen. This impressed both my wife Lori and I. Mark's attention to detail is impressive.We understand that a Ford Dealership was just purchased by Kunes Country in Sterling Illinois were we have a home. We verified this on Sunday 4-5-15 by driving by the location and saw the Kunes sign out in front. Our plan is to take our new purchase to the Sterling Dealership service department for upkeep and maintenance. A special thank you to Kris (in your finance department) for her follow up and courtesy. Kris called late in the day to ensure that all of the financing and related questions were answered and coordinated prior to the delivery. She was also in contact with me in the days to follow to ensure that all went well.Interestingly, Kris's call to us was exactly within the hour that Mark had indicated. This reflects a coordination between your departments that exceeds expectations.This is our dream vehicle, but the Kunes experience was equally a dream to go through.On Saturday 4-4-15 I took the vehicle to Kunes to have the FOB reprogrammed and to meet Mark. As busy as he was he took a moment of his time to shake my hand and thank me for my business. I had my daughter, son in law, and grandson with me. They were very impressed with all the vehicles in your inventory, most interestingly, my grandson and son in law immediately located a truck that they wanted.Your parts department (Dan D. and the team) were professional and courteous. The technician was waiting for me as I pulled up to complete the FOB reprogram. Again, as I was driving there Mark was on the phone with me, giving me directions, and assuring me that anything I needed would be taken care of. I went to get my car an Oil Change and my Tires rotated (2/20/15) I was told that they couldn't do a tire rotation because of the lug nuts that were breaking or broke from what Sam told me that was working the desk. I got charged for lug nuts that I didn't ok for and I told him not to do the tire rotation which obviously they didn't but yet I still got charged for it. Come to find out the lug nuts were perfectly fine. To make a long story short, everything was taken care of. I appreciated the way Dan took care of the situation and resolved the issue like a Manager should and provided me with great customer service. I still recommend this dealer for people looking to purchase a car. Thank You.

My husband and I desperately needed to upgrade from our trusty, conservative compact to a more roomy, family friendly SUV. After much thought & consideration, we decided to visit Kunes Country Chevrolet GMC Buick of Elkhorn. We packed up the baby and went there on a weekday night. Right away we were greeted by sales associate Jeremy Millian. He was very patient and friendly as he helped us find what we were looking for. At no time did we feel rushed or pressured. We did have a negation session over how much our trade in was really worth- which is to be expected. We did leave with what we wanted after trading in our used car. The total process took about four hours. The woman in the finance department was also very helpful and understanding as she explained terms. Unfortunately her name escapes me.Overall I recommend this dealership & Jeremy in the sales department. Everything went pretty smooth and fast - which is wonderful considering we had a 10 month old with us!

I recently was in the market for a new GMc truck. I found after searching that Kunes GMC in Elkhorn had it in stock. I drove 70 miles to see the truck and was disappointed with its condition. It Was a new vehicle but used as a demo vehicle. The vehicle was filthy. That should have been my first clue to leave. I was indecisive about buying a demo or ordering a new 2015, vs the 2014. The saleman, Ben, was good to deal with for the most part. I decided to buy the truck and come back to pick it up close to the end of the day to give them time to clean it up. Not until the next day did I realize the mistake. I ended up paying a body shop to buff the scratches out, and touch up all the rock chips I couldn't see the night before in the dark. It also took two weeks to get rid of the strawberry smell from he air fresheners. Part of the deal was my truck had after market wheels on it and the dealership didn't want them, they wanted he factory wheels. I drove home, 70 miles each way to get the wheels for them. They were going to remove the wheels the next morning so I could come pick them up. I traded in the truck and it had 8 wheels and 8 tire pressure sensors with it. I was to be given back my wheels as per the paperwork signed by the dealership. Needless to say the wheels were "removed" from the bed of the truck while in their possession. 2 months later and I still don't have my wheels back. They stole the wheels off my truck and have refused to give them to me, even though the paperwork states they are mine. Numerous emails to saleman, Ben, have gone unanswered. Numerous phone calls and I get bounced around between saleman, sales manager, and then told they would call me Monday. Monday came and went two weeks ago and I still haven't heard back from them. Emails still go unresponded too. Very shady dealership, and can't be trusted. I will not be back and will recommend friends and family stay away from this place. They also attempted to add $150 more in state fees in the finance office since I was from out of state for a title transfer fee, which is BS as my last two trucks were bought out of state. When I told them I wasn't paying and I was leaving they said oops those are wrong we will remove them. In the end I got e truck I wanted at a fair price, but it wasn't worth the BS I have been through. Had I known that day I would have waited for a new 2015 and paid more elsewhere. They also have my traded in truck listed as a one owner accident free trade. The truck was involved in an accident, but they still advertise it as accident free. Save your money and headache and buy elsewhere. Several of their brand new vehicles had paint damage to them as well, according to them their detailers like to burn the paint with the buffer.

I had purchased several cars from this dealership when it was known as Tasch Motors, however, I had never worked with Randy. I found him to be professional, knowledgeable and efficient. I told him what I was interested in, first and second choices and I was quickly beginning the test drives. He was able to answer all of my questions and when my decision was made and the deal closed; Randy was very helpful explaining and demonstrating all the bells/whisltes. I had to call him a couple of times later, no fault of him, and I was never made to feel like I was a bother. All in al it was a great experience!

The team at Kunes was very helpful in my decision to purchase a new Chevrolet. Dan, the service manager is a carry over from the previous owners and his team had taken care of my last car for years. I was glad to see that he was part of the Kunes team and his presence there leads me to believe that I will continue to get the same great service that I have always received. After I made a decision to "shop" Vince Reichel gave me a high level run down on the models and features. As I zeroed in on my choice Jeremy Millian took care of everything on the sales side. Don't let this young man fool you.......he is a veritable fountain of knowledge regarding the vehicles that he sells and their comparative features. His confident, and calm demeanor put me at ease throughout the buying process. For anyone considering making a purchase, enlisting his help would be a wise move! Nate Nelson took care of all of the paperwork and loan details with great efficiency and in a very personable way. I heartily recommend the whole Kunes team and I love my new Impala 2LT!

I found a car that I liked at Kunes Country Chevrolet/GMC on cargurus.com and contacted them to see if it was still available. I was contacted by a salesman by email and set up a time to come and see it by phone. Enroute to the dealership, I got an email saying that they were sorry but they had received a deposit that he had not known about, but they had other cars, blah, blah, blah. This seemed like an old car dealer trick to get someone interested to buy. Anyway, I did not get the email on my phone until I arrived. Salesman was not there to meet me...had to run an errand...Keep me waiting. I talked to the sales manager and he apologized about the mix-up, didn't know details of the deposit on the car, but wanted me to see it anyway, blah, blah, blah. Looked at it, drove it, took it to lunch. What would it take to get you into this car today? right out of the used car salesman's handbook. Evaluated my trade and initially offered much lower than indicated on several websites (edmund's, KBB, cargurus.com) and wanted way over the value of those sites for the vehicle I was interested in. Also had a Hail of a Sale and this car had some hail damage. Discount from their published price brought the car down to a little above where it should have been WITHOUT hail damage. They made offer, I made offer, Let me see what I can do, Can you give me something to work with, blah, blah, blah...again right from the used car salesman's handbook. Eventually made a deal but figured I paid about $1200 more than I should/could have. Be wary of hard negotiating stance they will use and be ready to deal hard or you will overpay. By the way, I was assured by the sales manager that the hail damage could be repaired for $500 - $800 but the estimate I had was over $1700. Got it done for $1000.

I worked with Carl and Ron mainly on the site visit but Vince also was helpful getting us information via email. Overall we are pleased with the vehicle thus far while it exceeds our needs in the interior amenities it is the exact type of vehicle we were looking for to grow our family with. I have to say that I am very pleased with my experience with Carl Miller. This was the first time I bought brand new. He was very friendly, very patient and very knowledgeable. He explained everything very well along with a lovely sense of humor. Not a stuffed shirt moment to be had. At the same time keeping the process professional. I at no time felt overly pressured. I asked questions and he answered them all to my satisfaction. When he found out that the car I had come in to look at had already sold he went above and beyond finding the one I wanted. I recently leased a 2014 Chevy Silverado K1500 LT Crew Cab pickup. I chose Kunes Chevrolet in Delavan, WI because I have a trusted contact in the special financing dept. Her name is Nicole. She(along with her immediate supervisor, Curtis, who is also very knowledgable and helpful) has helped other friends of mine to find financing for troubled or spotty credit ratings and put them into vehicles to fit their lives and budgets. I called to have a vehicle brought from their Elkhorn location to the Delavan location(where Nicole works) and when I arrived they informed me that Curtis had gone to p/u the vehicle and he found that it would not start and that something was wrong with the electrical/charging system. They could have quickly tried to "band-aid" the vehicle, but they were honest about what happened and were willing to help find something similar. Needless to say, Curtis was not very happy to discover a vehicle for sale in the lot that could not perform. They set to work immediately to find a truck that would meet my personal and financial needs. Roberto Rocha was the sales professional that we worked with, and he was very knowledgable as well. He spent time explaining our various options(lease or buying outright) and how they would affect the bottom line and how credit scores are affected by different financing options. He was also very knowledgable about the truck and how the new technology worked(i.e. the stereo, touchscreen controls, backup camera, OnStar, SiriusXM radio, etc.) There was not a question that he couldn't answer. I am taking the truck in to the service department for a protective coating application on the truck's interior components and the exterior of the truck as well. After this I will be able to fairly rate the service department. In the end, the finance team was able to combine my credit with that of my wife, and got us qualified for a lease on the truck that was only $30 higher than Chevy's introductory rate for this particular truck! Not too shabby. Thanks Nicole, Curtis, and Roberto for making this a good experience for my family and I!! I give them all(and the dealership as a whole) a "5-Great" rating and will continue to do business with Kunes Country Auto Group for years to come.P.S. Buick is the only option in the vehicle make selection window and dealerrater would not allow me to submit without selecting a vehicle make, so that is why Buick is selected when I have indeed purchased a Chevrolet vehicle from Kunes.
