I was actually helping my friend look for a car when I spotted a Mustang GT at Lancaster Car Co. I've wanted a Mustang since I was a little girl so naturally I did some research. Found out it was low mileage, beautifully taken care of and most importantly the previous owner had dropped a supercharger in it ... it was love. I stopped in and spoke with Kevin a few days later and he couldn't have been any nicer. He talked to me like a friend, he was never pushy, and I could tell he completely understood what this car meant to me. He was so helpful through the entire process, he looked at my budget and worked out a price for me that fit perfectly, I couldn't have asked for things to go any smoother. When I picked up my Mustang he was so sincerely happy for me, you could really tell he had a passion for cars just like I do. If I'm ever in the market for another used car, I will definitely be going back to see Kevin. Can't thank him enough for helping me get into my dream car sooner then I ever thought possible!

Drove 3 1/2 hours to look at a Lexus that was described to me as a fine car. When we arrived we were very pleased that it was indeed as Richie had described. With no haggling at all we drove home in a "Like New" Lexus RX350. I used to dread car buying because of the time and effort involved, but with Lancaster Car Company what I used to dread became a pleasure. Fair, Honest and I will buy my next car there for sure.

My wife and I purchased an Expedition from Lancaster. We were purchasing from out of state, so everything was done over the phone. Kevin was patient and returned every phone call in a timely manner. I had already narrowed down that I wanted a Honda Civic. The one I came to see was already sold and the on the lot was a tad over my price range. Within minutes Garrett was telling me the other car on the lot could be mine for the same, lower price. And with no hesitation, he said I could take the car to my mechanic for him to give it a once over. After 2 questionable cars I had checked out, and one ignorant salesman elsewhere, it was such a relieve to find this place. In the next few days I was back and forth with my test run with Kevin jumping in to help. Then on the day of sale, Ritchie was there with me making it all so easy and almost fun as I signed off to get my gem of a car. All use car dealers should take lessons from this staff. And thanks to Patty too. Nothing fancy but I rather have good deals and great people as I invested in my new used car.

This is a fantastic dealership staffed by very helpful employees working with an absolutely great selection of cars. Kevin was knowledgeable about the vehicle's history and features and his patience with our questions was greatly appreciated. We had driven over two hours to get to the dealership and found that he had already tagged it as being on hold. Not only was the Ridgeline in great condition but it was everything kevin had told us it was. We would highly recommend this dealership to anyone in search of a vehicle.

My girlfriend and I were looking for a Volvo C30 with very specific features and pricing. We found one at Lancaster Car Company. The only problem was they were over four hours from us. After speaking to Richie six or seven different times to hash out the specifics of our trade-in the cars price and the financing we made the trip from north of Pittsburgh to Lancaster. We were more than pleased with the whole process. The Volvo was great Richie was very patient with us and even stayed late on a Saturday to make sure everything was squared away. Was looking for cars about a week ago and came across this beautiful black Mazda 3 on the lot, Kevin came out and introduced himself and let me take a look inside. I fell absolutely in love! I found a 2012 370Z for sale on Cars.com, and when I got to Lancaster Car Company they really delivered. The price was the same as online, they were very informative, and played zero games. They let me test drive the car by myself, and even offered to let me take it to grab dinner while we waited to hear back from the bank about financing. I ended up taking the car home that night, if only every dealership was so hassle-free.

Found an amazing deal on a car on their website. Went in to check it out and was absolutely floored by the level of kindness and service displayed by everyone I encountered. No "snake oil salesman" at this dealership. Just genuine friendly people who enjoy chatting and want to make sure you are happy with your purchase. Being an out-of-state buyer who was trying to decide whether or not to change residency, I needed a few days and several phone calls to them in order to get everything straightened out. Kevin was fantastic, took every call, answered every question, and went above and beyond to help me out. I cannot say enough good things about this dealership. He answered all the questions we raised well. He helped with some research regarding towing issues before we bought the vehicle. I just drove 5 hours to purchase a car from Lancaster as I was looking for a Black Infiniti QX70. Since the QX 70 is not a popular model, it was hard to find a low mileage one locally. I spoke with Ritchie after seeing on their site. Clean Car Fax, but I still was skeptical until I spoke with Ritchie who looked it over in detail and gave me a nice report of the condition as well as test drove for me to verify it drove and performed as a 1 1/2 year old car should. His description was spot on and actually cleaner than I expected! I also called the local dealer that sold it was informed it was clean also. They gave me a fair trade in which was equal to the local dealers right over the phone per my description, which made me agree to the 5 hr drive. (They also negotiated on the price which was a fair deal in my opinion from research on comparable models.) Once I arrived we completed the deal per our phone conversations without any problems or last minute changes as Richie is a man of his word. Within an hour I was on my way back home, both happy with the trade in as well as the price for the QX70. Lancaster is so honest and detailed they actually already had a trim piece on order that had a small dent and installed it while I finished the paperwork. Owners manual was MIA so Ritchie ordered it for me as I hope to have in a few days. They take car of the details and make purchasing easy. I would not hesitate to buy another car from them as all the cars I looked at while waiting looked very clean and well taken care of.

I went here to trade in my 2010 Mitsubishi Lancer and ran into a problem getting accepted for a loan. I ended up getting approved and getting more than I thought my car was worth for a trade in value. Signing all the paper work and signing off on my old car brought my handicap mother into the situation but Kevin at Lanc. Car Co. was very patient and helpful with the whole process. Prices are fair on both sides of the transaction. Whenever I get the bug to buy a new pre owned vehicle I call ritchie and get him on the hunt. Until I purchased this car from Lancaster Car Co., I had never in my 60 years bought a car from a dealer, let alone a used car dealer. The fact is that they gave me the willies. Well, that's definitely not the case with these guys. The car is just as advertised, and they made every effort to make the transaction smooth and enjoyable. My long distance car buying experience was a little frightful, starting with my first cold call to Ritchie at Lancaster Car Company on Saturday. He answered all of my questions with expert answers, did not pressure me with questions, and I told him that I was out of town and would call him upon my return home on Monday. I called him, hoping the car had not sold over the week-end, and asked more questions and sealed the deal. Ritchie helped me get into contact with a transport service and the car left PA for SC! I, meanwhile, wore the website out scoping the pictures of the car from all angles! The dealership sent the title to me overnight, after receiving my cashiers check, and I am the proud owner of an Audi A4 convertible. I would highly recommend this dealership for its honesty, non-pressured very capable service. I just wish that it wasn't so far from here, so that I could pop in and meet everyone in person!

From the first email to the signing of the paperwork, Ritchie was responsive, communicative, and professional. I asked a lot of questions, and he got back to me with every answer, including sending audio/video for me to hear and see the car starting. These guys have really got their ship together! I've been buying cars since 1963 and this was by far the best deal and the easiest transaction I've ever had. Though nine years old with 53k on the clock, Blue Beauty Bimmer Babs looks and drives like she just came off the showroom floor with zero miles. On day two I took her on a 400 mile road trip and she was flawless, fast, and fun. The guys at Lancaster Car were extremely knowledgeable and helpful and more than willing to bend and deal to accommodate my needs. They certainly know how to pick the right cars, price them properly, and sell them in a straightforward and honest manner. I'm already in love with Babs even though we barely just met. We cannot say enough good things about our experience with Lancaster Car Co. Kevin May was wonderful to deal with. He was knowledgeable about the vehicle that was being sold and was very low pressure. We drove 1 1/2 hours to get there and it was worth it! They have very good quality used cars. You cannot tell that the car that we purchased is 11 years old, it looks that good! We had a minor issue with the vehicle on the drive home and they let us take it to our mechanic instead of driving back there. They paid our bill 100%. Was in search of a decent reliable car for my disabled parents to use to drive my 7 month old son in that would be safe for them and him. The car had to be handicapped friendly and comfortable and affordable. I thought it was a tall order but my parents and I searched the internet and carlot after carlot in hopes that somewhere this tall order could be fullfilled. One day, on a tuesday, my parents, myself ,and my son where heading back home from looking at one of those large carlots when we saw Lancaster Car Co. It looked like a carlot that had cars that were way out of my price range..boy, were we all in for a surprise! Kevin May greeted us and told us that he was not going to bother us in the way that larger carlots would. He simply told us that he was available to help us if we needed him. We searched the lot and didn't think we saw the car we had in mind. Kevin asked us what we were looking for and we told him. Kevin pointed right behind us and said that he had a car that sounds like what we said we were looking for. He was soo right!!!! It was what we were looking for and so much more!!! Kevin is so friendly and down to earth and really made us feel comfortable in our car search! Kevin said that he and a coworker test drove the car to make sure everything was in great working condition for us! On the day we picked up the car, Kevin stayed way after the lot was closed to answer all our questions about our new car and told us the gas tank was filled too! I was looking for a Nissan murano or rogue she I came to see Kevin. I saw one in the parking lot and really liked it but it ended up being sold! Looking for a 2003 Corvette 50th Anniversary model, found one on AutoTrader on a Thursday, called Kevin May at Lancaster Car Company and requested additional information about the car, he took me via telephone "run around" the car since I was a four hour drive away, I wanted to give a deposit via this conversation, but he said that was not necessary, he said he would put a "hold" on the car, I went to see the car in person the following Saturday, fell in love with the car, Kevin let me take it out for a cruise, provided the car fax report, again requested to put a deposit on the car, not necessary, following Thursday came down with the funding and again Kevin assisted, We obtained a Temp. Tag to drive "My Vette" home, following day Kevin had called my residence and had asked how my ride home was, I don't know the last time I had a car salesman call me to see how the car was, The price for the car was great, the car had only 6100 miles on it, overall this car purchase could have not gone any better. If you are in the market for a "used" car, I have to use that term loosely, my vette is "perfect". if you don't call the Lancaster Car Company first you are making a mistake. Signed. My husband and I were in the market for a Mercedes-Benz GLK350. We visited several local dealerships and browsed the internet for some time. I bought a car from this dealership about a month ago and couldn't be happier. I had been looking for some time and they had exactly what I wanted at an amazing price. This was my first car buying experience all on my own, which was intimidating, but Kevin May made my experience very pleasant and easy. He was not the typical salesman trying to get me to buy right away or go out of my price range. I could tell he was a genuinely good guy who loves his job. I felt he went the extra mile to make sure I was completely happy. It was very refreshing that this business understands great customer service, as that's hard to come across these days.

I was searching for a Ford edge. I drove to Lancaster and looked at several. I left Lancaster car Co and continued looking at other places. I saw nice ones but not as nice as this place. I got a limited with low miles for a GREAT PRICE and the customer service was AWESOME! I needed a new license plate and Richie paid for it out of his pocket.. that's customer service... nice cars n nice prices.

After searching the internet for a good deal, we found a BMW X5 that was ideal, the price was fantastic, almost too good to be true. Nevertheless, we took the hour and a half drive and were met immediately by Ritchie who was friendly, knowledgeable, and was a straight shooter. The car we looked at was super clean, looked brand new, and drove like a dream. My wife and I both test drove it and fell in love. The price was low due to the volume the dealership does, not any defects with the car. In fact, we bought it at $800 over wholesale. The car had been fully serviced and had brand new tires on it. The buying experience was fast and easy, we were in and out in no time. Everyone there chipped in to help, and they were all very polite and helpful. My PA registration sticker had expired in April, and Ritchie paid for the renewal out of his own pocket. Yoiu can probably go to 15 dealerships and not get that kind of customer service. I would recommend anyone in PA, or even outside of it, to make the trek to Lancaster/Manheim, it is well worth it, you will not find a better deal or more helpful, fair, and pleasant staff. Next time I need a new car, I know exactly where I am going: Lancaster Car Company.

As someone who had no interest in shopping around for a car, Lancaster Car Co. was a perfect fit for me. I searched York, Harrisburg and Lancaster for the right car. I was actually laughed at by a BMW dealership for even asking about a manual transmission, then I found Kevin May at the Lancaster Car Co. He was polite, personable, and willing to work for your business. I couldn't be happier with the car I finally purchased, and when I went to pick it up at the end of the week (yes, they held it for me on a handshake) Kevin noticed the windows had a few streaks and personally cleaned them before I left. You just don't get service like that anymore, and it certainly makes a difference! My husband bought his car from Lancaster Car Company a few years back so this year I went there for my new car. They have really nice pre-owned cars and they don't show much wear at all. I'm really happy with the car I got and the folks at this dealership are so nice. Its a relaxed place to look around and buy a car. There is a tag and title place right there so you can get all of your tag and title work done in one place. We took a look at the web site first and the pictures were exactly what we saw in person. I'm sure everybody is great but we worked with Ritchie both times. He is wonderful!

I bought a 2008 Mazda3 from Ritchie recently. This was the best experience I've ever had buying a car, and it was great especially after coming right from looking at a car at a dealer where I had the worst experience. They don't play any games like other dealers. They are honest, straightforward, give good value on trade-ins, and have good prices. I drove 2 and a half hours to buy the car and I didn't mind it at all. I will do it again to buy a car from these guys. I recommend them to everyone. You won't be disappointed buying a car here!

Dear Kevin May (My Car Sales Guru!) There is almost to much to say. Firstly I was window shopping for a used car and like anyone else I gave a brief description of what I was looking for. It was a Manual Car, All Wheel Drive, something to get me from point A. To point B. Due to the snow I understood their lot was low on selections yet I found a car I was "satisfied" with and ready to buy. I give myself a few days before a purchase after driving the vehicle like others do as well. Now here is where it gets good! Kevin knew I was only "Satisfied" and not completely enthralled with the vehicle I was about to buy in a week. He went on a hunt for a vehicle that would suit my price range and my preferences! I now own a All Wheel Drive six speed car that has me smiling every day I look at it. His detailed description of knowledge for cars is impressive his kind hearted service is spectacular! I recently bought a 2003 Honda Civic from the Manheim dealership. Kevin was the salesman who assisted me through the process. I was very impressed with the customer care and quick responses I received as I considered buying. All interaction was very professional but also personal to me as the buyer. Kevin worked with me so that I could afford this car with my tight budget and also helped with everything from getting floor mats to fixing the Honda emblem on the front. We were looking for a jeep cherokee, unfortunately the jeep they had available on their lot was over our budget. Ritchie offered to search for a jeep in our price range and quickly found exactly what we wanted in our price range. He also gave us a good price for our trade in. Everything went so smoothly! A few days after we purchased the car we noticed one of the tires was not holding air. We called Ritchie and he recommended a garage to take it to and have it checked out. Apparently there was a nail in the wheel and it had to be patched. Who knows when the nail puctured the tire but Lancaster Car Company picked up the bill with no questions asked and we didn't have to pay for a thing!

I recently purchased a 2010 BMW 335i xDrive from Lancaster Car Co. When I went to check out the car, not only was I surprised by the immaculate condition of the car, but it was also a hassle free experience. We just purchased a 2003 BMW from Lancaster Car Company right before the new year. After searching for months for the car we wanted, and visiting some other dealerships we found it here in good condition and for the right price. The whole experience was great, Kevin was our salesman and he was very friendly and fantastic to work. There was no pressure put on us, our questions and concerns were answered and both issues found with the car were fixed before we picked it up. The parts were ordered through the holidays which took a little longer but worth the wait, meanwhile Kevin kept us up to date the whole time. They go above and beyond what other dealers do that we've visited in the past. The BMW emblem was wearing out and on the day of pick-up, Kevin had a new one on the car as well as a full tank of gas and a car wash. I have been doing research for over a year looking into the right car for me. I have found great cars at numerous other dealerships but was so put off by the salesman that I simply did not want to purchase a vehicle from them. Highly recommended! Very professional and very easy to work with. My family and I commuted two hours and had a change of heart of the selected car after arriving. Lancaster Car Company provided us with better option (upgrade) and worked with us to meet our budget. This was the first used car that I had purchased in over 13 years. I saw the add in Cars. com and decided to see what the actual car looked like. After searching for over 6 months and visiting other dealerships, as well as, individual buyers, I was not expecting much. Most people exagerate their car's condition. I was getting very discouraged with the whole process. What a relief when I found the car was as advertised. After driving the vehicle and enjoyable conversation, I was sold. When I asked what was the bottom line, I got a straight answer and the right price. SOLD. The biggest surprise came when I was told that all they needed was a hand shake to honor the sale. Who does that these days ? I was one happy camper. This was a Thursday evening. I asked if I can pick it up Saturday morning. No problem. It was all cleaned up and ready to go when I got there. They accepted a personal check for the purchase. Another shocker. All the paperwork took about 20 min. and I was on my way with a full tank of gas to boot. If you are looking for a good deal and buying a car like the good old days, this is the place. I was very at ease and happy with my purchase. Kevin was only at the dealership a short time and even he was amazed the way they do business having worked for a large dealership. I am sure I will be back when I am looking again.

Lancaster Car Co is a great place to buy a car! Usually I am not too keen on the car buying experience and this time was no different. Ironically though, this time it was due to the lender. I worked with Kevin May from the time that I pulled up to the lot to the day I left with the car I purchased. Through the test drive to the paperwork, Kevin was great to work with. He and I were continuously in touch with the lender to make sure all of the necessary paperwork was completed as an out of state purchaser. As I mentioned, the only difficulty came from the lender during the process. Even down to the day I was supposed to pick up the car, the lender provided road blocks, until Kevin talked to Richie who provided the final piece of the puzzle to help me complete the process. Even Patty the secretary was good natured as I sat in the office waiting for things to be completed. Overall, the best experience for a car that I really desired. The lot was filled with beautiful cars. It was worth the effort to travel from Maryland to PA to complete the transaction. Great job guys! Highly recommended.

Just picked up a like new C63 this past Saturday. I drove all the way from Chicago, and I would do it again. The car was exactly as described, and Ritchie couldn't have been better to work with. The pricing was great, and he held the car for two weeks until I was able to make the trip out. One of the original keys was lost and Ritchie didn't hesitate to offer to pay for the replacement. Found my vehicle almost by accident after the salesman at a well known Jeep dealership 3 hours from my home(Meadowland of Carmel. NY) spent a week negotiating with me on a vehicle he didnt even have in inventory . Went to see similar vehicle at Lancaster Car company . Buying process was smooth and pressure free . Nice people that give you a very fair deal without the bs . Gave me a fair price for my 2008 Jeep trade in , and drove home that day with my almost new 2012 Jepp GC. An OEM cargo cover was missing that went unnoticed until the next day . Ritchie took care of this for me , no problem . A refreshing change of pace overall from the "dealerships" . I found the truck I wanted at Cars.com on Monday night and was driving it home (2 1/2 hours away) on Wednesday afternoon. Ritchie and Garrett are great guys that really provide a laid back atmosphere with no pressure and no hassle. Basically, I got screwed by a service center and it turned out that it would have been a better option to look for another car. I searched for a bit and stumbled across Lancaster Car Co for one specific car. It was very similar to the car I already owned. I contacted Garrett and Richie on a Saturday and had literally finished the deal within 3 days...it took longer to deal with my bank loan than the dealer itself. Those guys are very knowledgeable about their lot and the cars on it. I have never been more happy with customer appreciation than I was with these guys. If you're looking for a great, well kept car for the right price, make sure to visit their lot and talk to Garrett or Richie! Honest, fair, and straight up. I have no complaints and I don't see how anyone could with their personalities and professionalism. Thanks guys!

In looking to purchase a quality pre-owned truck. I found just what I was looking for with Lancaster Car Company. The sales staff was very friendly and I did not feel the typical pressure of other dealerships. When the truck had some mechanical issues a month after purchase, Lancaster Car Co offered to pick up the truck as well as supply a rental car. We were in the market for a used Lexus and Lancaster Car Co. found us the car we were looking for. The car we bought had low, mileage was in great condition and was priced fairly. I know that buying used is always risky, but we hadn't bought a used car in probably 20 yrs..We wanted a convertable for the summer, and we found a BMW 325ci at this dealership. We went up to purchase the vehicle an their was no title. So of course that was a problem, as well as the car was not clean inside. Next weeek the title came in and we test drove the car and we purchased it. A week later I finally had the car checked out and the problems began. After spending $18,150.00 the week before, which was suppose to be a good price. I then spent $3000.00 more just to make it safe and road worthy. There was suppose to be a 30 day warranty on the vehicle(everything but electricle)I forwarded a copy of the problems to the salesman as well as called him to see if he would repair or help pay for some of the repairs. He did nothing!! He made excuses and said that the Bmw dealers were only trying to make money. PLEASE!! I also own a Mercedes that I have serviced at the same dealership, and they have never nade up a list of things wrong with my Mercedes. I new this was crap!! I had the repairs done and now the car run well. So buyer's Beware, if something sounds too good to be true it probably is!!**!!*

Upon driving past this dealership on a Sunday afternoon, I noticed a low mileage 1998 Pontiac Firebird on the lot. I always wanted one of these cars. After a week of contemplating the purchase with my family, I contacted Ritchie to setup a test drive. He was extremely helpful and allowed me to take it out for a short trip. I can't say enough about how he worked with me to get the car into my price range (which was easy because the cars appeared to be priced fair from the start) which allowed this to happen on my tight budget. Ritchie was a great guy to deal with from beginning to end. I'd recommend him and this dealership to anyone looking for a nice used car at a decent price. I'm hoping to keep this automobile for a long, long time. Thanks to Ritchie and the Lancaster Car Company for their assistance.

Great Truck Good price and gave me a fair trade in. I will go back next year when we decide to replace our Maxima. Richie is not your typical used car dealer. Has a lot of late model cars at a good price.
