I want to write a review for my five-star experience at Lee Dodge with Maddox Christy. Maddox made my car buying experience the easiest I’ve ever come across. Not only was everything ready when I walked into the dealership he also helped my friend buy her dream car which was a challenger they had on the lot. I went in and I signed my papers with the finance department and when I came out my friend had bought a car. Maddox not only being super professional was extremely efficient and couldn’t have made our car buying experience any easier in under a two hour time frame. Again I give five stars to this establishment and to a phenomenal sales person. Thank you Maddox you completely rock!!!

Had a salesman by the name of Mike Marsh. What a great guy. He took the time to sit down and listen to my needs in a vehicle and ensure those needs were met. It was a car buying experience like I had never experience.Mike didn't 'sell' me a car, he put me in a car that met my needs, was fiscally responsible, and the most important thing, that I was happy with it. There was absolutely zero high pressure sales tactics used, he was a genuine down to earth guy that wanted to help. I couldn't recommend Mike enough.Other dealerships really should take note, and I hope Lee is taking care of Mike. I don't think Adam Lee would want Mike to take his professionalism and approach to a competitor.

I'm so impress with the experience here at Lee Auto Westbrook in regards to my overall experience. Professionalism with my salesman, Mr. Mike Marsh was pleasant, professional , and very knowledgeable. I wanted a Jeep Rubicon with many preferences and he delivered as promised. I wanted to test drive a white, fully loaded, navigation, leather, with all the right package but he didn't have it readily in Westbrook. However, he went above and beyond and drove to the other Lee Auto and picked it up in Auburn , Maine which is 45 mins away to have it readily available for me to test drive on the same day. How amazing he was!I originally wanted a different color but it was at another dealership in Saco, Maine but I didn't want another salesman nor deal with another dealership other than Lee Auto, but rather chose to stay with Mike. He made such a great impression to me that I felt loyal to to stay with him in order for him to treat me right in my purchase experience. Mike drove the Jeep to my place of work in regards to making it convenient for me and also picked me up at home. My overall car buying experience was really quick and easy. I've owned and purchased numerous vehicles and the experience sometimes is quite time consuming and not fun but Lee Auto mall having Mike Marsh as a professional enable me to stay with him all the way through my Brand New Jeep Rubicon. I really love my Jeep and never knew a Jeep thing existed until I owned a Rubicon. Thank you for all your efforts. I will highly recommend my friends and family there. Regards,Ty.

I had been shopping for a diesel Grand Cherokee over the course of many weeks. I have never had a positive experience at any dealer. I always felt like I got ripped off when leaving a dealers lot, and was never really happy with a purchase. I was just beginning my car shopping on Friday, Lee was literally my first stop in what was planned as an all day car shopping adventure. I walked in, immediately was able to sit down with Carmen and was able to explain my expectations. She teased me by letting me test drive my dream vehicle, but I knew it would be very far out of my budget, and it was. But then she showed me some other vehicles and I absolutely fell in love with a 2012 Dodge Journey. Carmen was amazing at explaining every little detail about the vehicle and the purchasing process. Melissa and Fred did absolutely everything they could, and gave me a heck of a deal to get it financed for me. I drove away extremely satisfied and I don't think I've stopped smiling yet. I've never owned anything that has so many features! 10/10 would do business here again, and am definitely telling everyone I know to go see Carmen.

My lease was coming up at the end of January and I needed to find a replacement. Due to my credit score, my options were limited but Will and his manager were able to find my new vehicle - a 2014 Kia Sorento!!! And Gene was able to get me financing and a reasonable monthly car payment (not much more than what my lease was for on my 2012 Rogue). I've already interacted with the service department (a rock put a nick in my windshield within 15 minutes of driving it). They are incredible! So nice and they explained things so that I understood! We stopped by Westbrook Chrysler, Dodge on Sat., Jan 2, just looking at vehicles. Your salesman Corey Wakefield, met us as were looking, asked if we were interested in any particular vehicle. Told him I liked the Ram 1500, so he took me to the selection that you had on the lot. He was very knowledgeable about the Ram, so we decided to take it for a test drive. Corey explained things about the vehicle that I have never had a salesman tell me about before. He completely sold me on the Ram, and I am very happy with my purchase. The amazing thing about it was that he said he has not been selling cars very long, but he knew what he was talking about. We found him to be a very pleasant young man and we would certainly recommend him and your dealership to others.

He even provided lunch for me while I waited .!The car itself? It rides nice and handles well. It is a vehicle in the basic of basics. No air conditioning and no type of electrical advances. Crank windows and no air conditioning. I have 4 tires, a radio, heat, and 4x4. Maine Auto Credit ,on the other hand will put you in an unsafe vehicle!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That has been my experience.I am thankful to Zach Hobbs that i do have a means of transportation.

My salesman was extranordinary. He has nothing to do with the following:Entered the showroom with salesman. There were several desks all empty. We appeared to be the only ones there. Sat down and answered questions about my trade in for about 2 min, then off to test drive the car (that was great). We returned and like magic all the desks were busy with people like they fell from the sky. We took a desk way in the back away from the rest. When my sales guy left to speak to the manager another salesman came over and sat at a nearby desk and proceeded to tell me that he owned three of my trade in and they were all nothing but trouble. He left when an unintelligible page come over the pa. Then the was the " park it next to your car" Which really means 'park this gorgeous New car next to your old beater' Really guys you should know that some people see right through these seedy tactics . It is disrespectful and demeaning to the customer. It's like they think we are stupid. It is insulting. Anyway, after way too many back and forths to the manager I paid too much (my fault) and bought the car. I spied a jacket in the showroom I liked and asked the manager if he would throw one in. He said NO. (I put $14000 down). WAA!There has to be a better way to sell a car without these kind of tactics.

Let me first say I am very happy with the vehicle we purchased but am thoroughly disappointed with the service. Devin was nice and polite but extremely unfamiliar with the vehicle and most importantly your warranty. We were misinformed by both Devin and Aaron a handful of times. We had wanted this vehicle brought to Norway Lee to avoid my husband taking extra days off from work and lugging our children around in the car all day. Devin AND Aaron told me that they are a competitor and although they are Lee, the two don't work together. When I called the Lee in Norway, they told me that they would have gladly worked with Westbrook to make it easier on us. When I confronted Devin and Aaron they literally laughed and basically put my husband and I in the middle of an apparent issue they have amongst themselves. Wait a second, isn't my husband, myself, and our check more important then some childish and unprofessional game your two locations have going on? Not to the Westbrook Sales staff. When I asked how to get in touch with Adam Lee Aaron's exact words were "the chance is one in a million. He is always in Florida and never here." Despite this issue, there was one bigger; that being the duration of the certified warranty. It wasn't until we were sitting with Mr. Pickering finalizing the sale that we were correctly informed. When I approached Aaron he basically said there was nothing he can do. I began to feel extremely frustrated after all of the other mishaps we had encountered. The "top" manager Bill stood up and sternly said to me that if I am going to talk like that we need to go in an office. I told him I'd love to but no one had offered so your lobby was my only opportunity to initiate my conversation. Bill told me that I needed to stop "threatening him and yelling at him" (this is so far from the case. Hopefully you have cameras in your lobby. If so, I encourage you to check them). When he took us to Mr. Pickering's office he told my husband and I he "wasn't going to LET us buy HIS vehicle!" This is after two days my husband took off from work, two days our kids sat in the car ALL day, and again, the check we had in hand was presented. Not to mention he should be thankful we even wanted the vehicle after the terrible service we had already received. We had had enough and thankfully Bill "let" us finish our purchase. We have gotten a lot of compliments on our truck and I can assure you that we told each person who complimented what a horrible experience this was and that we will never go to Lee again because of it. We hope the truck runs well and we don't have to return for any issues because we never want to interact with your staff again. Lee is NOT for me... or anyone we talk to from here on out. If Mr. Adam Lee would like any further information please feel free to call me (assuming he is not in Florida).

We encountered flexibility in when we could test drive cars and make the purchase. Drew Button saw us through the process and even called our insurance company to provide a update about our purchase. We also thank Aaron, Josh and Drew for answering our post purchase questions. The team went over and above to see that we were completely satisfied with our purchase. We knew a used car could come with issues and they helped with sorting out the fix that was under warrantee. That saved us time we did not have since we just moved as well.

He didn't have the vehicle I wanted on the lot when I first came in but kept me updated by phone and email until it arrived. He was helpful and kind throughout the prospecting and buying process and he stayed late to accommodate my work schedule. Zack Hobbs was amazing helping me get into a brand new vehicle. I had a few payments left on my first used car from Lee and had to stop in because my slave cylinder went on my clutch. I decided I may as well see what Lee now has to offer and asked Zack what my options were. Zack asked me a few questions to really get to know who I am and what I would like to drive. He asked me all about how I liked my Ford Focus, why I liked it and what would get me into a new car. I'm a standard guy, I don't need all the bells and whistles like a touch screen display as cool as they are they just didn't fit me. The focus was good to me and we explored a couple of different vehicles but the one that felt the best was the 2015 Dodge Dart. The car drove like a dream, it had a sporty feel with a lot of pick up but felt like you were driving on a cloud. I have always told myself I wouldn't go new, I really just wanted to get my car fixed and drive it into the ground. I went in on a Thursday to see what my options were, after that I went home and did research like we all do. The next day I decided I would go back take another look and ask more questions. Thursday I told him he had a 5% chance of getting a sale so really unlikely. The professionalism, kindness and courteous that was shown to me on Thursday boosted me up to a 10% chance. After working with the financing department to see what I could qualify for, they were able to get me into a new 2015 with less of a monthly payment than the used 2005. I am so excited with my new car and am so grateful to be able to say that Zack Hobbs has sold me my first brand new car. Her name is Luna!!

Larry quickly told me that the new vehicle was actuality 4 thousand more than the online price. What? Oh! And the "new" vehicle had a thousand miles on it! Yeah ok... I'll never be back. Buying cars sucks... not the car itself, but the time involved with buying them and usually the hounding of the sales staff are a huge turn off. At Lee Dodge Westbrook - none of that mattered. I felt zero pressure from the sales staff - it was actually a good experience and I got a GREAT car out. My sales guy, Aaron Chase, was an absolute pleasure to work with. In business, people want to work for good management and are willing to follow a good manager. With cars - it's the same. You want a good sales person and will buy from them again - wherever they are. It'd be safe to say that next time I buy a car I hope Aaron Chase it still around and still winning accolades for his service and sales because I'd buy from him in a minute!

I was unsure about the type of vehicle to buy. I always wanted a minivan even though I have no kids. Lee was wonderful to deal with. I looked online and picked the van I was interested and they had it brought down from the Auburn Dealership the same day. It was a beautiful Town and Country. I was disappointed that I was having a hard time getting in and out because I'm very short 4'10". I thought my dream of owning a minivan was crushed but then they suggested having running boards added. Hey! what a great idea! I got a great price on a beautiful van and am very happy. This is my second vehicle purchased at Lee Dodge/Jeep, and both experiences were very much the same. Everything went better than expected when shopping and the floor sales personnel were very helpful in getting all the information on the vehicle and determining the final price of the Jeep Cherokee. The biggest issue that we had both times was when we went to finalize the purchase with the Business Manager. Our impression from the Business Manager was that if we did not utilize his finance service or if we questioned anything he said, we were then wasting his time. This brought us very close to walking out the door on both vehicles.

I walked through the doors at 11:30 am, told Aaron Chase what I was looking for, he narrowed it down to 2 cars, I test drove a 2012 Rouge. Filled out paperwork took it home so my husband could look at it, walked into the Dealership doors at 1:20 pm, told Aaron that it was what we wanted, he got me a great deal. I walked out at about 2:15 pm, in time to get my son from school.I went from a 2003 Town and Country into a 2012 Rouge in under 3 hours. Excellent service. Lee Jeep continues to deliver high quality service even after the sale. My husband, Justin and I purchased two 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokees in a six month period. I think we like this dealership. Oh yes, did I mention we LOVE our new vehicles?! Zach Hobbs was our salesperson for both vehicles. His high level of sales experience made our car buying process essentially stress free. Zach answered ALL of our questions and I had a lot of them. If he didn't know the answer, he asked someone who did. Zach really knows Jeeps. He showed us all the bells and whistles of both the Cherokee and the Grand Cherokee. After we left the dealership the first time, Zach did not bother us with the usual annoying follow up calls. Zach listened to the options Justin wanted in his vehicle and found that vehicle. Justin did not have to settle on a vehicle that was missing an option or two. The excellent service continued. Our trade vehicle, Justin's Silverado, was equipped with special after market equipment (ie lights, radios, siren). Zach drove his truck to Sanford and back so the equipment could be removed by experts. This ensured nothing was damaged. Now THAT is personalized service. Apparently, our second Jeep, a Grand Cherokee Altitude had several other interested buyers. Lee Jeep let us have first refusal, even though it took us until closing to decide. This is the way a dealership should treat returning customers. My husband and I cannot forget to mention Fred from finance. He took care of us when Zach was out. We were waiting for the Altitude to arrive so we could check it out. During our signings, Fred did not push anything on us such as service packages and additional warranties. He did, however, offer them to us, explain them and answer my questions, even if they were repeat ones. I took delivery of my Jeep Grand Cherokee Altitude without a manual or spare key. I called Lee and spoke to Bill the sales manager. Bill spoke with Zach who ensured these items where waiting at the sales desk for me to pick up after work. Overall, Lee Jeep was, and still is, extremely attentive to our needs. When our leases are up we will return. In the meantime, we plan on referring our friends, family and coworkers.

He was very patient with my frustrations and I must have seemed like a neurotic mess, but he was always professional and seemed to genuinely want to help. As past victims of an attempted bait and switch by a car dealer, we were a little apprehensive about buying a new car. After test driving a couple of cars, we went to Lee Dodge in Westbrook and met Mike Marsh. We talked with him for a while in regards to our needs and told him what we wanted to test drive. After the spin, we chit-chatted some more. Mike had a very calming affect instead of a high pressure sales pitch. The car pretty much sold itself, but Mike was the deal sealer. As a very inexperienced new car buyer I entered this particular dealership with skepticism. I had been to this dealership many years prior and had an extremely bad experience that left a bad taste for them as well as the stereotype of car salesman. I was approached by a very nice salesman by the name Dan Mahoney. He not only gave me the info I asked for but gave me the space I needed to browse. I was able to take test drives as I requested without the pressure of buying or steering me in any direction I wasn't ready for. I left that afternoon without a vehicle but time to ponder my options. I receive a friendly phone call from Dan a few days later asking if I had any further questions or if I wanted to return to browse more options. I did so that very morning and needless to say; I left an Extremely Very Happy Customer and I Love Love Love My 2014 Jeep Wrangler Sport. The wife and I were looking for a new car. Considered Ford Explorer, Dodge Durango and GMC Acadia. We then realized that we no longer need three rows of seats - kids are older. So, we decided to look for a medium to large sedan. The Charger is the only one out there with any style. There so many foreign cars out there and we wanted American. Also, I knew my next car would need to have AWD. The 2013 Charger has AWD, plenty of room, and really moves along with the Hemi!Our sales person exerted no pressure at all. He let the car and dealership sell themselves. No hassle or phony sales baloney. I would recommend Mike Marsh and Lee Dodge to anyone looking for a pleasurable car-buying experience.

A big thank you goes out to Aaron Chase for my tall order of buying a car within only one weekend! I was welcomed in to the dealership and treated very fairly. Aaron listened to my concerns about juggling a car payment with all of my other monthly bills. And when I said that I wasn't sure I had enough for a down payment, he said that he would take care of it. Not only did he get me a low monthly payment but I didn't have to put any money down and my rental car payment was paid for and accepted my trade in car that at the time had to be towed in to the dealership. The overall experience was pretty good. I was disappointed when I bought a $20000 truck and they wouldn't even fill up the truck I bought. That's just a little disappointing...... Dan said it was because I swapped the tires off my old truck. I feel for $1200 trade in I was not giving them $1200.00 in tires sorry.

I was in an upside car loan. I owed over $7k on a car worth $4k. I've been trying to get out of this car for over 2 years and no one would help me. Everyone told me there was no way out without a huge down payment. Mike listened to my situation and was determined to get me a way out. They helped me find the car i really wanted, explained every feature of the car in depth, and offered all protection plans available for me, but did not act pushy for me to purchase the plans or the vehicle. My trip down to Lee Dodge was an excellent experience. Aaron Chase worked with me an excellent sales person. I would rate him a 10 he know how to find what your looking for by asking the questions what you really are looking for and coming up with the right car/truck for you. We tried out an Advenger and it didn't what for me. Then with my comments he came up with the Dodge Dart. Perfect fit, his choice was my first choice of colors, MPG's and equipment. The Dart is a perfect fit. He is very knowledgeable on the car and the deal making. During the deal making he kept me informed on what was happening and everything. Thanks Aaron your a good man. We went in for regular maintenance on our Jeep and decided to look around since my husband was thinking of trading in the near future. To quote my husband, "Our Sales Consultant, Zack Hobbs, was one of the most personable, easy to work with sales people that I have dealt with over the years!" My husband gave him all the criteria he was looking for in another Jeep, options that were "Must Haves" and others he could live without. He told him the one negative complaint he's had with his Jeeps has been poor gas mileage. Not only did Zack find him the "perfect" Jeep, with all the options he wanted (and many more), it was a brand new one that is definitely going to be more economical! He worked with us and came up with a very fair price. Then Gene, the Business Manager, worked with us to close the deal. Last, but certainly not least, Zack made sure we understood how to operate the advanced electronics in our new vehicle, a very important service. Thanks, Zack! After I tried a plain car that felt like a rental (I picked it), Larry knew I would want something fun. He listened closely to what I wanted, picked a car that was in Topsham, had it brought down to Westbrook, and I loved it. Very fun to drive! Larry is a master listener. He knew, almost better than me, what I wanted for a car. The people at Lee in Westbrook were just plain awesome...Larry Raynor, Melissa Greenwood, Gene Burchill...a great team. Yes of course they wanted to sell me a car, but they made it easy and kinda fun. Very real people...we had a lot of laughs and I have a really great car. Go see Larry...you WILL NOT be disappointed.

These folks did work on two of my Dodge Caravans transmissions. Both of them were returned to me leaking transmission fluid. These vehicles both had around 60k for mileage. I had to send them back and they charged me only 50% to fix them because they said a week went by before I noticed, no accountability and I feel they lack the expertise to do quality work. The leaking was along the pan which they had to take off to do the work. I guess you are suppose to climb under your car to see if a licensed dealer did their job correctly. If you have another choice use it.

Don't count on honesty and it is not true that they care about the customer. The sales person was great for the sale - personable, on top of it. to close the deal. WHat he and the pit boss that negotiates price did not tell me that there was a summer promotional sale that would entitle me $250 discount, 15 % off anything i wanted. I happened to get the promotional material in the mail within 24 business hours of the sale. It continues to amaze me that in 2013, dealerships have to remain leaving the customer that they just got taken by a sleazy operation!

Upon entering, I made clear that I did not wish to provide my SSN, as I knew my score and my tier and was only looking for numbers today - I did not plan on buying until Monday. Mr. Ladderbush asked me to call Ally, my current finance company for my payoff amount, which I did while we were sitting at his desk. As I was verifying my account information for Ally on my cell phone, Mr. Ladderbush quietly listened and as I confirmed my full SSN to Ally, again, via MY cell phone, he WROTE MY SSN DOWN ON THE BOTTOM RIGHT CORNER OF HIS DESK CALENDAR! He then went to the sales desk with my payoff amount, to wit the Sale MANAGER behind the desk stated to my salesman (there was no one else at the counter except David concerning me, so do the math) "Tell him to go shop elsewhere and then come back. I don't have time for this crap." Really, so apparently, since I was upfront and honest and that got me nowhere here. To David Ladderbush, I would highly recommend thinking twice before fraudulently submitting a credit app with my SSN you got from eavesdropping, and wrote on your desk calendar for all future customer to see. I would NEVER recommend this dealership to anyone - they apparently do not care about the customer, their personal info (as the salesman took it upon himself to steal that from me via eavesdropping), or the way their comments and actions make their prospective customers feel.

Oh my goodness, this was such a pleasurable experience today! Tim Bennett was extremely professional, friendly and courteous, and very knowledgeable about the Jeep Wrangler that we purchased. He was very comfortable and easy to talk with. Tim was so organized that when my husband and I arrived, the Jeep had been serviced and sitting out in front of the dealership and all of the paperwork was in place. I would recommend him to anyone looking to purchase a vehicle at Lee Auto.I liked the way the front showroom was set up. I've been in other showrooms where one desk is on top of another and you get distracted with what's going on at the next desk/table. It was a very comfortable setting in which to do business. I recently visited Lee Dodge to buy a new van. We were already working with Berlin City looking at a Toyota Sienna (so far, the only cordial dealership we have visited besides Marc Motors). We decided to look at Dodge caravans because we own one currently AND their MSRP is significantly lower. We are experienced buyers that know MSRP is a starting point. Jon was average in friendliness and offered to install a backup camera for free, but unwilling to budge on MSRP. He brought over his sales manager who came with an intense air of intimidation. He came into the talk extremely rude, stating all of the usual crap that sales people say like "I can't budge. I'm already loosing money on this. You really want me to loose even more money on this deal?" Then he crossed the line of pushy and rude to manipulative and verbally abusive asking me if I really thought that MY business was worth him loosing any more money on this deal, all the while posturing and raising his voice in front of the other customers. He also stated, "I've heard that you have had struggles with other salesmen, but after hearing what you want to pay for this van I think the real problem isn't them but you." All of this over a request to lower the the price from the MSRP by 3,000 as a starting request. I would have walked out and avoided the sales manager's abuse but when they appraised my vehicle for a trade in they actually kept the keys - no escape. I am a longtime customer of their service department, but I'm not sure I want to hand over any type of money in the future.

This is actually our second vehicle purchase from Lee in a little under a year. My 20 year old daughter needed a car. She needed a good reliable car because she is a single mom and works and goes to college. The first vehicle she wanted was not affordable for her, so our salesman, Aaron Chase, spoke to another man and they not only found a vehicle she could afford, but they found the perfect car for her!! She liked it better than the one she originally picked out!! The entire process from start to finish was incredibly easy. Decided to buy a Jeep Wrangler last weekend, and after looking at various dealers' online inventory, headed up to Westbrook. After reading the reviews on this site, I was relieved that it was Dave Ladderbush who introduced himself. It's clear that Dave loves his job. This is the worst dealer for costomer service i have ever delt with. not only could they not find the problems with my truck they were very rude.my son was told that he needed to take me out and get me smoked up.after several trips there and getting charged 80 dollars each time just to have them look at the truck,the problems still had not been fixed properly.I have recently bought a toyota truck and i am very pleased with berlin citys service.I have recomended to every one that i no not to buy from lee dodge. My husband and I were shopping for a car for me. Dan directed his conversation almost exclusively to my husband even after my husband told him he need to sell the car to me. Dan's behavior bordered on rude to me. The final straw came when we were returning a car after a test drive and he shook my husbands hand and turned and walked away from me. I would not have bought a car from him under any circumstances.This was a repeat trip to Lee for us after a good first experience, but after the experience we had we won't be returning.

Our 1993 Buick LeSabre was on its last legs, so my boyfriend and I decided to go into Lee Auto Malls in Westbrook to look at an inexpensive 2002 Honda we found online. David Boucher advised us that the Honda wasn't there, and that banks would seldom finance for as little money as the Honda price. However, he kindly showed us two other cars, and after several periods of waiting, we ended up driving away in a beautiful 2009 Kia Rio. Capital One (our credit card company) ended up financing us, and the cracked windshield replacement was dealt with quickly and professionally. This is the first dealer car purchase for both of us, and it was virtually painless, contrary to experiences at other dealerships....I've definitely recommended this to our friends. Went to lee Dodge in Saco saw Jason Risbarra He recomended to buy new,instead of used, so I wouldn't end up in the same situation I was in , owing much more money than my car was worth, He was looking out for my best interest and sent me to lee Dodge in Westbrook. Met Dave Ladderush, he asked me ? about what I liked and did'nt like with my car, and said I think you will like this one as I watched him walk out on the lot and go to the new car ,He went to the car I was hoping he would go too, which i had not ever seen before. I was so impressed! I love the style, and it met all my needs. I couldn't have done better and Dave made the experience so relaxing, no stress, no pressure,so informative about the car,and just a lot of fun ! The finacing part was just as great Gene told me exactly what I needed for paper work as my credit wasn't that great, there was no run arounds, he got the job done professionally,and caring.While waiting to hear if my loan would go through everybody at Lee Dodge was very attentive, and friendly,I talked with several employees and even though they weren't my sales person they answered my odd ball ?s about the car, though they never treated them that way. What a TEAM!! My trade in was much more than other dealers offered,Gene got a lower interest on my loan than what my current interest was, when I had great credit. They definitley took care of all my needs, I just can't say enough on how much they helped me, They were great!

The people I dealt with were top notch. Joe and I test drove and went over ALL features of 2011 Jeep Cherokee after work on Wednesday. Paperwork was prepared during the day on Thursday. Spent 45 minutes on Thursday evening signing. Most of that time was spent entertaining my 3 year old boy. My expectations were exceeded. I had searched online for a month before going to Lee Auto, they seemed to have the most reasonable prices and have the most info available online for their pre-owned vehicles. It was more than an hour's drive to get there, but worth the trip.While I was disappointed to find out that the Jeep I went there for was sold that morning, we ended up with one that we are real happy with. David L. did not push us towards vehicles that were priced way more than what we wanted to pay & he was great in how he handled my cranky husband, who was not happy to be there since he had looked forward to not having a vehicle payment.We were given a very fair amount for the trade-in of my old vehicle and felt that the Jeep we purchased was reasonably priced and in great condition. All of the staff members that I delt with were very pleasant and helpful & I would definatly recommend Lee Auto to anyone looking for a newer vehicle.

I first visited the dealorship on a wednsday and Mr.Boucher had great customer service. He did everything he could that day to get the 2011 Jeep Patriot that I was looking at financed without a co-signer, with no luck. I returned saturday after calling and talking to another salesmen friday about my co-signer. I have just moved to Maine from a non-inspection state, and my ten yearold car would not pass inspection here. As I was searching the internetfor possible replacements...came across a 2007 Hyundai Sonata with less than 18,000 miles....seemed too good to be trus! I was apprehensive about dealing with my need to purchase a car. I don't care a lot about cars; I just wanted something small and reliable. I am a single mom with not a lot of money to spare. I had received recommendations from friends and co-workers. I searched through newspaper ads and dealer's websites. I also talked with a smaller dealer who came highly recommended. After doing this initial research, I decided to start at Lee, not realizing I would be able to find the car we needed and drive away that day.Joseph Robinson was recommended by a co-worker, and he was wonderful. He listened to my needs and put me in a car which really suits me: small, simple, excellent gas mileage. While I ended up paying a bit more than I hoped to, I feel confident that I got the best deal that I could. I had looked at similar cars in other dealers' ads, and saw higher prices for cars like mine and for older cars with more mileage. I especially appreciate Joe's patience and listening skills. I had my 15-year-old daughter with me, and he was kind to her also. He understood that we needed something that would suit us as a family.

My fiancee and I went to lee looking to trade in my fiancees truck due to gas prices and monthly payments we thought it was best. We went to lee with a certain maximum monthly payment and were more than thrilled with the outcome we received. We ended up getting a brand new car for 100 bucks less a month then what we were paying for the truck. Never once did they show us car we couldn't afford or try to sell us cars we didn't want. My fiancee and I were more picky than we expected and never once did anyone complain or frown toward our pickyness and wanting more and having to show us at least 6 different cars. When we appoligized for our unexpected pickiness every time they replied with "we want you to be happy and have what you want don't be sorry". Even more sweet my fiancee and I were there all day and I didn't get to eat lunch. Past dinner hours I was starving and Nick our salesmen offered me some snacks and soda he had in his desk. he didn't have to do that but I was very thankful and it tied me over until we got home. I could go on and on about this company and will certainly return when we need to buy our next vechile in 2012. ABSOLULTLY THRILLED AND RECOMMENDS TO ANYONE who doesn't want the stereo type salesmen. I had been wanting to test drive a Wrangler for a few months and was not sure if I would even like it so I had expressed interest in the other Jeep models as well. David walked me through the Jeeps including the Compass and the Patriot, explaining all the features and different option packages. When we got to the Wrangler and took a test drive I knew that was what I wanted. I have been looking on line for a few months now and found the Lee website easy to navigate and it made looking at cars easier with my hectic schedule. My experience at Lee with Dan and Gene was excellent. Dan was very friendly and knowledgeable about the Jeep I was buying and very patient with my questions. Gene was also very knowledgeable and he took the time to explain each piece of paper I was signing. He kept apologizing for "the wait" but honestly, I had expected the time to be much longer and a lot more painful than it was. I had had a very poor experience at another dealer 6 years ago and so I was very hesitant to go through the process again. I won't feel the same way next time I purchase another vehicle and I will go back to Lee when it's time to trade in my Jeep.

I have only had a few dealings with Lee, but none of them have been anything that left me with warm fuzzies after wards. When I bought my vehicle there were actual screws missing out of the door panel....the salesman totaly messed up my paperwork and even went so far as to send home someone elses financing paperwork in the golvebox of my vehicle!!!! Another time I special ordered a part to enhance my vehicle and was told that it would be about 10 days before it came in.... more like 3 weeks! (to their credit they did get the part installed with out issue though)The icing on the cake for me and the reason that I have called it quits in dealing with Lee was when I recently brought my vehicle in for it's scheduled 3000 mile service. I disappointed across the board. When I called to make the appointment for service I inquired to how long the job would take as I had a doctors appointment scheduled for later that same day and wanted to eliminate any possible conflict. I was assured that it would only take about an hour so there was no need to find alternate transportation and I could make the other appointment with plenty of time between the two. Unfortunately this was not true. I sat out in the waiting room for an hour and forty minutes before getting aggravated enough to go out to the receiving bay and inquire as to if it would be much longer and if there was some sort of problem that I should know about. At THIS point I was informed that they were "running a little behind" (perhaps sharing this information at the time of drop off would have been more useful - or even near the estimated completion time - but no such luck) so I went back to the waiting room and waited some more. The work on my vehicle took nearly 3 hours to complete from the time that I pulled into the bay to the time I drove off the lot. I find this unacceptable for a one hour maintenance job, but to be honest and fair, the big issue here isn't the fact that things were slow and/or running behind it was the over all attitude that came with it. Where was the courtesy of someone coming to the waiting area to let me know that it would be longer than anticipated? Perhaps with that prior knowledge I would have altered my plans and had been able to make it to the doctors appointment after all (which by the way they charged me a no-show fee for canceling at the last minute - Thanks Lee) Though it is considerably further for me to drive I am now seeking all of my service at another dealership.

Joe response to our e-mail the next day.He told us about the van we was interested in and made sure that was what we were looking for. Joe was very friendly and was not pushy, kept us informed as the process of the paperwork was being reviewed.Tried very hard after hours to get us to bring home our new van the same night, but our ins. company was not working with us. He went above and beyond to get it to happen. When we called him first thing Monday morning told him when we would be arriving to pick up our new van,he had everything ready for us. We had a very bad experience at another dealership, and walked into Lee Westbrook and were very happy by all of the great service that was given to us by our salesman David Boucher as well as the sales manager Josh. We were very upset with the other dealership(NOT Lee) and were not happy, but David and josh made our entire experience an excellent one. I entered the dealership fealing nervous for two reasons. What were they going to try to sell me and what were they going to charge me. Buying a car was not someting I normally had to worry about, because my husband would take care of the over-bearing salesmen and the price dickering.Having Josh as my salesman was what I considered a gift. He was not pushy, he spent time getting to know me and what kind of car that would suite my needs. I owned a Jeep in the past and liked the feeling of safety in the snow and it's sporty look.Josh helped me keep within my budget after searching the lot and going over the different features we found my perfect car. Josh made what would have been a stressful situation into a very pleasant experience...not to mention the amount of time I took from his day.I will not hesitate to buy my next car from Lee. As long as Josh Goulette is working there.

The lease for my Chrysler Town & Country vehicle was coming to an end this week & I had been too busy to search for a replacement. I made an appointment with David Boucher on Tuesday for the following morning to discuss my options. David had two 2011 Chrysler Town & Country vehicles waiting for me to view and drive. In the time I spent in the dealership, both he & Josh Douglas researched my options with regards to both vehicle equipment and comparable leasing alternatives, both at the dealership and available elsewhere. They also facilitated the return/trade in of my current vehicle which enabled me to make an immediate decision. I left driving my new vehicle, delighted with my new lease which will be saving me money every month, and anticipate seeing them again in three years when this lease concludes.

My girlfriend, Jill had been driving a 2000 Jeep for years and had accumulated 179,000 miles. I wanted to get her into something newer. She liked the Jeep, so we figured we'd stay with the brand and started looking around. I researched the used Jeep market for weeks and rated hundreds of them on line and many at dealers. Our search took us to Lee in Westbrook, Maine, as it was close to where Jill lives. We were greeted by Bill Wheaton and the two of us got along great from the start. We loved an 09 Overland, but it was a little more than we wanted to spend. Bill was easy work with and showed us several other choices. It was getting late and we had a diiner to get to, so we said goodbye. All we could think about was that Overland. Bill called the next day and said he thought he could get us into the Jeep of our dreams. We went back down and I was amazed that between lowering the cost and their creative finance team, they made it possible. They even got us a very good finance rate with a reputable bank. The price was the best I had seen in all my research. Jill is thrilled and I am happy to have her in a safe, reliable vehicle. I feel I have made a new friend in Bill and will surely go back to Lee for all our service, parts, accessories, and, when the time comes, another vehicle.

When we walked we were greeted immediatley. Dan was our sales person, very friendly and out going. He did a great job of finding what type of vechile I was looking for, including showing me a vechile with the features and color I was intrested in. All the staff we interacted with were friendly and out going. We went late in the afternoon, so they were unable to clean the car before I left, but gave a me voucher to have it cleaned and a full tank of gas. Great service overall, and a nice selection of vechiles to choose from.

Excellent customer service. Bought a used Dodge for a great price. Noticed the window did not work, so they took it in a nd replaced the part, under warranty. Also had the check engine light come on, they fixed it under warranty. Light came back on, and I did not want to drive back 2hrs to Westbrook for a second trip, so they let me take it to my local Dodge dealer to have it fixed. They paid for the repairs and I did not have to drive back down.They are very reasonable and easy to work with. Willing to stand behind want they sell even if it was used and not their fault. Would reccomend them to anyone.

I recently visited Lee Auto Mall and met and worked with David Ladderbush to look at replacing my 2004 Dodge Ram 1500 with a 2011 model. I bought the 2004 brand new at Lee and had all service completed there. Service was always good and I continually received service reminders and discount coupons in the mail and via e-mail. David was an excellent salesman and a pleasure to work with. I did not feel pressured and he did well to get the payment to where I needed it to be. I would recommend David as a salesman to anyone looking for a vehicle.

I have been purchasing my own cars as an adult woman since my first car in 1973. These purchases have always been in Maine. This was not my first time buying a car from Lee Auto Mall in Westbrook. Years ago I owned a Jeep Cherokee which my children thought at the time was the coolest car I owned -- probably still do. It was gun metal grey and four-wheel drive. My experience then with both sales and service was quite good. I remember the service as being quick and responsive to what I needed or asked for. I have been in the market for a smaller car for the last few months and had test driven a few of the cars in my size requirement. The day before I went in to Lee Auto Mall, I had been down the street to look at a Ford Fusion. The salesman there was pretty bad. He shoved me out the door because the pizza had been delivered for lunch. Seriously. When I came into Lee, Josh greeted me and first, was very respectful, which I look for as a woman. He listened carefully to what I needed and I think he would have taken me for several more test drives if I had wanted. I was not necessarily planning to purchase that day (good sales techniques, Josh). His approach was polite, friendly and never condescending. In addition, he was very knowledgeable about all the cars we looked at, including the one I eventually purchased. I have a progressive tendonitus condition that because I don't look old, is sometimes hard for others to comprehend. He got it. During our negotiation he kept his cool but again, friendly and accomodating. The car I bought was a Dodge Caliber 2011. Since I purchased the car, he has helped me a few times, figure out how to work things. Not only is Josh a great sales person, he is just a great young person. I would think he would be very successful with older ladies like myself. He makes me want to bake cookies and bring them by the shop. PS my 24 year old daughter loves the car and since it is better in the snow than her car, I have let her borrow it a few times during recent storms. Great job Josh.Suzi BenoitPortland Maine

I went in to see what I had for options regarding the end of my lease. I ended up buying out the lease after I received all the information I was looking for and then some. Once I made my decision I wish it had been a little bit more speedy as far as the credit and the final steps were processed.

When my husband and I determined we needed a new car, we cringed. We hate dealing with sales people and we weren't sure we'd qualify anyway since my husband had recently been laid off. We were not in the mood to be over-sold or treated like we were stupid, or worse, made to feel embarressed if we wouldn't qualify. I had heard nothing but good things about Mike Marsh from Lee and we called him straight away. Mike was like nothing I had ever experienced. He was kind, patient, dilligent. . .not like any car salesman I'd worked with anywhere! He listened to our needs, he called us with updates on information he found out for us, and he never tried to put us in something we didn't want or weren't sure we could afford. He worked with their finance department for us, before we ever closed the sale, so that our financing would be taken care of without a hassle. I don't remember the name of the gentleman we worked with in the finance department, but he was also a complete gentleman. In one day we were in a Jeep that we really loved, at a price we could afford, and we always felt respected and valued. As long as Mike Marsh is selling cars, I will never buy from anyone but him! Last fall I decided to trade in my car for a new one. I knew I wanted a Dodge Charger but they have many models and there were certain features I wanted and did not want. I didnt want to spend days at a dealership and have a car salesman pressuring me into buying what is on their lot. A friend recommended this dealership to me so I stopped by one day. I sat down with Josh Goulette and told him exactly what the car needed to have and what my budget was. Josh was a really friendly, down to earth guy and did not try to push me towards a model that he knew I didnt want. I got the impression he wanted me to be happy with the car and was excited about finding it. I turned him loose to find my car and he quickly found a Charger that had exactly what I wanted and even additional features that I did not think I would be able to get. Josh called and told me what the price would be, and what they would give me for the trade in. I drove to the dealership still expecting there to be some catch or something unexpected that I was not told about. There never was. When I showed up they had the car on display looking nice and shiny. Everyone there seemed very excited about my car. I worked with Gene who got me excellent financing. Since then they have followed up with me on maintenance and to make sure I like the new car. I could not be happier with my experience dealing with Josh and everyone at Lee Auto Mall. I plan to go back when I am ready for a new car.

We bought a mini van here a few years ago and were supposed to get a free checkup and oil/lube service. I bought it in and left it off and waited outside for a friend to pick me up. I guess they thought I'd left when the mechanic came in to pick up the keys from the service manager and asked what he'd be doing. When the service manager told him he replied so oil, lube & filter? The service manager replied: "no filter, it's a freebie". I let them know I was still there and gave the service manager both barrels. It told me all I needed to know about how they treat their customers. Have heard other horror stories from friends and co-workers.
