My salesman, Dave Kaplan was excellent. He gave respect and was very professional. I purchased a 2016 Jeep, which I love. As I returned home from purchase, noticed a dent occured during delivery. Immediately called and was instructef to come back next morn, which I did. Dave also verified dent was not on vehicle at time of purchase. Matt Dyer was very rude and was not going to fix this minor dent. I had to show him pictures from the internet showing no dent was present and was going to call Constantine De Stefano my attorney to help resolve this matter. During tbe next few days Matt made my buying from Lia a terrible experience. He finally agreed to fix minor dent but would not allow me to use a courtesy car due to the fact "he was taking a hugh hit on my car" very very condesending. I was totally treated as if I was doing something wrong. I continually had to remind him I had just spent 20,000 at Lia and just simply wished to have tbe bump, which was caused at dealership bumped out. My Jeep will be in Lia for 3 days this wk .I have to rely on friends and family to go out of their way to go to work. Before I made the purchase a very big concern of mine was if any work at all had to be done on my Jeep a courtesy call would always be available. I was assured in the sales and finance department. They did offer for a rental from a car rental, at their facility, with me paying full rental fee. In the past I have purchased from 2 other dealerships which were always excellent with courtesy cars understanding my circumstance. Matt Dyer has made me totally regret my purchase with Lia. I will always return to the others who respect their loyal customers and show compassion. I also work in the community and cannot imagine ever eing rude or condescending. Its a shame Mr. Dyer has made this a terrible buying experience .Mr. Kaplan was wonderful .

The salesmen was very pleasant and nice but the manger was very rude and spoke down to me. I had been to two other dealers and was quoted a price. The manger here told me I was out of my mind for even thinking that price could happen when I had it in writing already from another dealer. He then proceeded to give me snarky comments and mock the idea that I though I could get a car for that price as I walked out the door.. I heard this dealer was xxxxxx. now I know for myself.. Just because you're in Saratoga doesn't mean I'm going to pay $2,500.00 more for a care.. GO TO ANY OTHER NISSAN DEALER THIS PLACE IS TRYING TO RIP YOU OFF AND MAKE YOU FEEL BAD FOR QUESTIONING THEM.

This is the worst dealership ever. I will never recommend anyone to go to Lia Nissan for anything. I bought my first MINI Cooper last March and 8 month later the car shuts on me while I was driving it. Then 5 minutes later it started up and I drove it. Later that night it stop again while I was driving it and started back up after 5 minutes. I made an appointment for Lia Nissan Service to take a look at it which they schedule me a week later. The car didnt make it a week before it completely shut down on me and they had to tow the car to their location. What is funny is that I take this car to do the regular service maintenance with them in about every 3 months. The incident happened a month later after the last service with them. I asked them if they can provide me another car in the main time and they said No. Three days later I called them for an update they didnt even look at it. The technician I spoke was extremely stiffed and rude. After 5 days later they told me there is issue with the spark plugs and they would fix it for about $300. I was really upset because a month ago the car had no issue and all of the sudden it shuts while driving it. It was stopping on a busy traffic area and I could have get into serious accident. So, I finally took my car to a MINI Cooper dealer and they found 6 issues and it would cost of $2000 to fix the car. I went back to my original dealer Nissan to show them whats wrong with the car and they said I would have to pay everything my pocket and they will fix it for me. I read the dealer coverage and of course they were wrong they would have to pay about 70% it, but kept refusing me. And even worse when I bought the car I paid $3000 for coverage and the Service Manager insisted I didnt pay. I finally had them print out our agreement and circled the $3000 for him. Im speaking from my experience and they may be working out good for other folks but it was a disaster for me and I will never step a foot in that dealership.

The dealership knew on Monday I was coming to look at a NV200 on Friday....The internet sales rep. Josh turned me over to Mike, the salesman. The NV was sitting outside waiting for me to test drive...It didn't start. Mike said it had been sitting in the lot for a year and he already had to jump it just to get it upfront....(wouldn't you charge it before the customer arrived?) I took it for a test and it shimmied. Mike said it was the tires...(wouldn't you inflate them for a potential customer?) I wanted a Red one not the white one and was willing to overlook the ridiculousness of these two events. They didn't have one on the lot but could get one. Then I got double tagged by the Manager and Sales Rep. staring me down in a small office. I said if they could get it by the next day I would all in. gave them a deposit. They said they would do their best to get it to me. On the way out the door the proverbial straw that broke the camels back was Mike's comment that he would do everything he could because it would look good for his stats. YIKES! He wants my money but does nothing to earn it...I DON'T THINK SO! But it's not over yet....They knew Friday night they couldn't get it but I got a text at 9:20 a.m. Saturday telling me it wouldn't be in until Monday....And it's not over yet....I decided I didn't want to give them/Mike my money or the dealership, nothing sat well with me about this place... so I called to cancel. Wanting to explain why to the manager I spoke to Ron...who totally defended the car not starting and the tires being under-inflated. He said he needed me to come in to refund my money. I said, since it was a 45 minuted drive that he should be able to take my card over the phone. He said he would check and call me back. I asked that it was done quickly as I had to go to work. Next thing I know Mike calls me saying the Ron asked him to call. I didn't want to talk to him I wanted to credit my account and get to work. Mike hung up, Ron never called until MUCH later leaving a message that it was not possible to charge back my deposit without coming in...which I found ironic since Peggy at the front desk (who I have now spoken with 3 times about charging my card back) said I could as long as I faxed the receipt over...which I did and left her my charge number. So Rob is just PO'd and jerking my chain again....In addition I had walked around the back of the building while Ron and Mike were working the numbers for my Van...what did I see? Two Nissan employees (mechanics) out back smoking and looking at a non Nissan person's car. So while customers were inside waiting for their cars to be repaired, two of the mechanics were working out back getting paid to look at a friends car. YIKES!Now I have a dispute with my charge company because Lia did not refund my deposit. I refuse to take the long drive to pacify the PO'd manager at Lia Nissan in Albany.... STAY AWAY FROM THEM. BAD NEWS!

This is the worst dealership on the planet! My husband emailed Lia Nissan of Schenectady about a 2013 Ram 2500 to test drive. He was emailed back that the truck was still available, May 28th. He then emailed the same person( Suzanne Bisson) about having the truck transferred to Saratoga for a test drive since it is right on his way home. He never heard back from her, so he decided to go through the Lia dealership in Saratoga since he figured they were all connected. He was met by a salesman( John) and was told they needed $100 to test drive the truck and bring it up to Saratoga. He said they needed the money because they have to swap a vehicle with the other dealership but it shouldn't be a big deal. My husband was serious about buying the truck so he gave them the money and it went through that night. He was told he would get a call on Saturday (May 31st) at 10 am about coming into their Saratoga location to test drive it, after sitting with John for hours on Friday ( mainly because he kept leaving to go help other customers while my husband sat there) and getting approved for a loan on the truck and leaving the deposit for the test-drive.Saturday morning came, 10 am passed and he heard nothing from John. At noon, I urged him to call them and find out what was going on, so he called only to have a secretary tell him John was busy with another customer and would call back. We still hadn't gotten a call back after 2 more hours, when my husband decided to call again and ask for his deposit back because of his frustration, and his call was forwarded to a manager, who apologized and now suddenly John was available within a couple of minutes. All John could say ( this was at 2pm) was that he was sorry, that it was "crazy" there and he had a lot of customers, but he claimed he spoke to the dealership in Schenectady and he was "sorry" they were too busy to bring the truck to Saratoga for Saturday as planned. ( Nothing like wasting our whole morning waiting) Then he went on to tell my husband that they would be able to go get it on Monday and to give him an hour to call back... an hour came and went and there was no call.Monday morning, June 1st, my husband was at work, and John called and left a message saying he was very sorry, the Lia Nissan dealership in Schenectady had SOLD the truck on Monday to someone????? What???They sold it out from under my husband??? Who does that??? and that he could get the white truck instead if he was still interested in a truck( higher miles and not the black truck he wanted)??? So Monday he decided to call Suzanne Bisson ( the sales associate from Schenectady) and asked if the truck was available and she said no she was very sorry they sold the truck that morning! My husband mentioned the Saratoga Lia dealership told him they had called Schenectady Lia about the truck and she claimed she never heard from anyone and knew nothing about the deposit. Just a coincidence?? I think not. Someone is lying! They obviously think people aren't wise to their games. Oh and the same truck is sitting on their website. It does NOT say it is sold. SO, my husband called back the Saratoga Dealership asking for his deposit, and John once again was too busy to take the call. He asked to speak to a manager and explained to a manager named Gary, how he put a deposit on the vehicle, and even HE was snippy and short with my husband telling him he would have to come in to get his money back, because it was debited off a debit/checking account card, and that it was too bad they sold the truck but they have no power over what they do in Schenectady! My husband told them that he had been inconvenienced enough and would like to know if a check could be mailed. The sales manager told him he'd look into it and called today 6/2/15 to say he could credit it back over the phone. Wow, how very nice of him.** We Would NEVER recommend these people. They treat people like crap and only make time for you when they feel like it. Even their manager is condescending....They don't communicate with you when they SAY they will, and as far as I'm concerned they LIED to us! I've never dealt with such a bunch of unscrupulous people. Take your money elsewhere, that's what we're going to do!

An incedient occurred that is still on going with a lia Nissan employee, and a manager that has promised to make right has changed his mind. Not only does it seem they have changed their mind and is asking for money on THEIR mistake, but they have not even had the decency to make any contact back! I really wish we would not have to elevate the situation.

I visited Lia Nissan for a used Altima last week. The sales person was great but the back and forth was too much. I had just had the same issue with another lia location and was frustrated even more by this visit. When I came in for a test drive the first time I walked into the manager yelling and swearing in the showroom at an employee. I could tell by the look on his face he didn't know I was in the showroom. When I went back a second time to see Mike for a second test drive the same manager was having a closed door meeting with an another employee but the office is glass so you could see his yelling and antics. I asked Mike who that guy was who is always yelling and he said that's our GM Dave. Nothing against Mike but we went to another dealership and purchased a new 2015 Altima.

I would not recommend this dealership to anyone. They do not honor warranties they sell and purposely do not fix things so you have to keep coming back over and over again so they get more money. Shay the service manager is awful and rude to everyone. She sits and glares at customers but never gets up and helps anyone in the service area.. They're always short staffed and do not listen to customer concerns about the vehicle. I had a 5 year warranty they will not honor. They force good survey results from customers by threatening them and putting them in awkward positions. (Terminating the business relationship if another negative survey is submitted when there's a dealer sold maintenance plan on the line they won't honor) I will never do business with them again.

After discussing a particular maxima my wife and I made an appointment and drove 45 miles to check it out with the full intention of leaving with the vehicle in question. upon arrival we were told that this particular vehicle that we had been discussing had been sold that morning. The greaseball sales manager then tried to sell us an entirely different car - oldest slimeball trick in the book. People like this are who gave car salesmen the well deserved reputation that they have. Stay away from these low lifes. BTW - it was the wife's only day off for 2 seeks and she was not thrilled to have wasted it in this manner.

Waited at parts deak for 30 minutes waiting for parts staff to help. Apparently there is only one person working in the parts dept and he was on the phone the entire 30 minutes i waited. I thought that in person customers were to receive prompt service. Not at lia. I went to Nemith in latham and had immediate help.

My head liner had to be replaced on my 2012 Altima Coupe that only has 7k miles, it was a warranty covered item. I took 3 days to install, which I am not sure why, but worse yet, the head liner that is beige in color was covered in greasy fingerprint and hand prints, when alerting the Service manager Alex, he copped an attitude and got defensive. Since the day this car was purchased it has been never ending terrible service with each and every person along the way, sadly for me I don't have many options and at this point I am going to buy from another manufacturer to get away from the LIA chain, I can not understand how they are in business with such a lack of competent staff.

I emailed Lia Nissan to get a quote on a NEW 2013 Rogue. The internet salesgirl, Beth, contacted me with a price and said if I come in within the next 2 days the General Manager is feeling extra generous and will lower the price even more. She told me to enter my info online before I come in and everyone is guaranteed a loan but nothing is done until you speak with the Finance Manager & are ready to purchase. Well, we went in and the receptionist sat there ignoring us. We had to ask her 3 times for Beth before she actually called her to come to the front desk. Beth came down and brought us to a clueless salesguy. He took us to the shady looking Finance Manager and right away he told the salesguy to show us a USED 2009 Rogue. We were there for a new one but they we set on selling the used! He showed us a beat up Rogue that was not even cleaned yet and we told him no even though he kept insisting. He was knocking the new one's saying the old are a better deal, etc.The Finance Manager was busy with another customer so we sat in the waiting room. We questioned the salesguy about the price of the new Rogue we went there for and he gave us a price $5,000 higher than what Beth quoted us at plus they didn't even have the exact color I told her I wanted. We got tired of the games and walked out. After we left, the Finance Manager sent out applications to several banks without our permission and for the Used Rogue we didn't even want. This is fraud! He had no right to do this and each inquiry to a bank lowers your credit score and I know he did it to be a creep and ruin our chance at another dealer.

We purchased a 2012 Nissan Rogue in October of 2012 and we were extremely happy with the entire sales experience. We have been in twice since for routine maintenance and have been very happy with the professional manner and the timeliness of the service experience.Yesterday we decided to lease a second car. We immediately decided to drive to Lia Nissan where we were promptly greeted by Don Gleason. Don did not pressure us to make a decision. Everyone we came into contact with at the dealership including Ali the sales manager and Mike the business manager went out of their way to make sure that we were happy and well taken care of. There are few car dealerships that truly put the customer first. I would like to commend the entire Lia team on a job well done! We will be back when we are in the market for our next new car!

I love it so much and love the friendliness of Micheal that my i told my brother and he came in and got a 2009 Altima and my father is also getting a new car most likely the 2009 maxima. This dealership is awesome i'm going to recommend it to many people.

I have just returned from one of the best sales experiences I have ever had. I needed another car but I wasn't sure whether I could afford to take on an expense of this magnitude in this economy. Relatives have recommended Nissan on several occasions so I decided to visit the Lia Nissan Dealership on Central Avenue in Schenectady.I called ahead to make an appointment. The moment I walked into the showroom I felt comfortable. Tom Kenneally was my salesman and I consider myself very lucky. We started by discussing my concerns and financial situation. My care was appraised, very fairly, and I was given several options that would meet my needs. I looked at used cars, new cars and hybrids. I took several cars for a test drive and fell in love with the Nissan Maxima. TOM MADE IT HAPPEN. We explored several differnt types of financing and we both came to the conclusion that leasing would be the best way to put me in the car of my dreams. I will be picking up my new car on Saturday and I plan to have a long term relationship with this dealer and Tom...I would highly recommend them to anyone who is the least bit interested in investing in a new vehicle

Top level service and attention is what I got on a Saturday when I went to "look". I had no idea I'd be driving home in the vehicle I always wanted THE SAME DAY..They make the magic happen here at Lia Nissan; hands down miles above the rest. I will go back there and recommend everyone to stop in and see for themselves!!

Today, I had the best car buying experience. My sales man Kevin Twomey and the finance manager Mike Swobely were a joy to workn with. I never felt pressured to buy a vehicle during the process. Kevin went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable. He even went above and beyond in making sure that I got the car I wanted. He explained every feature of the car and made me know I was making the right decision. He stayed late two nights this week to make sure I was taken care of driving away in my new car. Mike was absolutely awesome to deal with. He took the time to explain the different extended warranty and made sure I understood each form before I signed. It's caring people like this that make Lia Nissan my dealer for life. I would recommend them a thousand times over and will definitely go there for my next purchase. I would also like to thank Ali for his help with my car deal. Everyone that works there greets you with a smile and never makes you feel like you are being pressured. Overall, I hands down had the best and easiest car buying experience at Lia Nissan.

I needed a car. But which one? The one that wanted to help me. Lia Nissan!!In literally 24 hours, my old cars (and my old worries) were gone, and I droveoff in a 2012 Versa. Love the car, absolutely. But-were it not for Vinnie andthe professionalism of every person at Lia Nissan, I'm sure I'd still be shopping.A five star experience, bar none.

I had a GREAT experience with Lia Nissan of Colonie. I went in to purchase a new car, and worked with Tony Wheeler. He was fantastic, helping me decide between buying or leasing, new or used. He weighed all options for me, never pushing me into a sale, but rather, helping me and my family find which option is best for us. At delicery, he took the time to show us all the little gadgets inside of the 2011 Nissan Sentra we purchased. Everyone at the dealership was very friendly and helpful. I would absolutely reccomend this dealership. Furthermore, if you go, ask for Tony. He was awesome!

Lia Nissan has a very professional and knowledgeable staff. I met with the salesman, gen. manager, and business manager and they all made me feel welcome without any sales pressure. They talked to me like I had known them for years. I would recommend this dealer to anyone looking for a nissan, or any Lia dealership in general. They know how to keep a customer happy.

Lia Nissan was very unprofessional to me when I visited in early January. I knew what car I wanted and how much I was able to spend and what a fair price for the 2011 Nissan Versa would be. The salesman did the traditional back and forth run around and even before we started to finalize a sale, his sale manager came over. He tried the intimidation routine in which he starred me down and explained why the competition was so terrible and underhanded. His choice of words were unprofessional. When I validated his statements (I am a teacher so this is something that I do A LOT), he said that he wouldn't even offer a counter-offer because the figure the competition was such a horrendous lie that he didn't want to stoop to the level. I requested and offer because if the competition really did lie to me about the price I wanted to know what Lia would offer so that if/when I walked out of the other dealership I would have a reason to return to Lia. To me, this seemed logical. The manager abruptly gave me a number and walked away. When the salesman returned he was in a rush to get me out of the dealership. I asked about a particular feature on the new vehicle and he spent 30 seconds trying to find an owner's manual so "I could look up the answer myself". When he gave up (after spending 30 minutes running back and forth to his sale manager's office) he informed me that he had "another customer" coming in and he needed to prepare for that person. I was escorted to the door and not even thanked for taking the time to come in and speak with the salesperson.I also checked out the service department when I was there waiting for the salesman to run around. I inquired about the coffee machine. The woman behind the service counter (with whom I'd expect to work frequently post-sale) was very lazy and apatheic. I asked about cups. She told me they were locked up and that she couldn't retrieve them. I find this difficult to believe. I said that there were several cabinets and would it be all right if I explored them to see if I could find any. She didn't offer to do it herself (she was extremely busy sitting in her chair doing nothing) and when I opened the first set of cabinets, I found the cups. Amazing the power of exploration.On a final note, the bathroom needed a severe cleaning.I would not recommend Lia Nissan (or Lia anything) because they do not employ professional upstanding people to sell their vehicles. Oddly enough, the salesman from Lia recommended this site. I find this ironic but amusing and I am taking full advantage of his suggestion.Nemith Nissan in Latham was MUCH better.

After Visiting Lia Nissan my Local Nissan I was extremely disappointed with the quality of service. The Salesperson didn't even offer me a test drive. My advice to Albany Shoppers. Don't Settle for Lia. there are MUCH better deals out there. We decided to purchase at Saratoga Nissan. They were much friendlier and save us a lot of money.

My niece and I went car shopping our first stop was Lia Nissian, and there was no reason to look any further. I contacted them by email , they called right back to asked what I was interested in and said they had the car I was looking for; I had seen it on there website. I made an appointment, and was met at the door by the Manager David Bertuch. We talked about the car and he then introduced us to Don Powell and said he would be helping us. Don is an excited kind of guy,that was sincere and really showed us respect. He truly showed a professionalism that sometimes is lost in this arena. We tested the car and we were sold. The financing and insurance were a bit tricky but they walked us thru it and Andrea in the finance office was the best. She was patient and explained everything.I would highly recommend Lia Nissan to anyone looking for a car. This is a dealership that knows what they are doing and cares about the customer.Margaret Aison

The Service Department is wonderful! They are some of the nicest people that I have dealt with and very professional. I moved to the area from Vermont and I have been looking for a Nissan dealer to service my vehicle. I live closer to another Nissan Dealer, but the drive to LIA NISSAN is well worth it.

It is always a pleasure to do business with ths dealership. When I need service they are always pleasant and speedy. Today I called to have my oil changed and my tires rotated. They were able to take me this morning. I dropped my car off at 7:30 am and I received a phone call at 11:00 am that my car was ready. Very pleased with the dealership and its employees.

I came in not knowing what I was looking for, but knew I needed a change. Tom Gear was quick to be at my side, helping me narrow down what exactly I wanted. I needed something that was easy on the gas and was big enough to stuff my wife, child, and belongings into for our move across the country. He was quick to help me find a few cars that were a bit more fuel efficient than my gas-hog of a truck, too. I ran out of time that day, but I came back the following week (much to his surprise) and he had actually done a little work for me while I was gone. We got straight to business, which was nice because I was on limited time that day as well. Without throwing me through a bunch of loops, sales pitches, and all kinds of other BS, I was able to get the ball rolling on my car that day. We picked it up a couple days later and the wife loved it.After driving it to Arizona, the only regret is that I couldn't bring Tom and the entire Lia Nissan group with me. I went to a couple dealerships before going to Lia and I had sub-par or up-to-par experiences with the other ones. The folks at Lia were incredibly nice and above and beyond any other dealership I've been to in years.

I am currently driving a Maxima and I had a Altima and a Sentra before that. All from Lia Nissan. The buying experience and the service have been great. I really like all of the Nissan cars. This dealership is the best I have come across. They are always very friendly and helpful.

Lia NISSAN I have been buying new cars from Lia Nissan for the last 10 years. I average at least one new car every 2 years and also have recommended and brought friends and family to Lia for new car sales. The reason is simple, I love the product. The people are professional, knowledgeable, respectful and work hard to satisfy people's needs. They know how to talk to people. The service dept is one of the best in the area in service, followup and a commitment to excellence and quality of work. Overall I think this dealership is one of the best in the area.
