My experience at Liberty Mazda was great ! Gary Sumlin was awesome! He was friendly, very informative & made me feel comfortable. Gary helped me with the decision for the best car for my needs with out making me feel pressured in any way. Everyone else I met there helped my car buying experience be nice, easy and stress free. Every step was smooth & all of the staff was very helpful. I truly feel comfortable going to Liberty Mazda because of the staff there and I will continue to come for all of my routine car maintenance, it will be worth the drive for a good experience even for the small things like an oil change.

The sales organization did not do one thing they were asked to do in regards to sending documents and other information to other institutions. If it wasn't for the price of the vehicle there is no reason to purchase here.

I live in NJ and was searching for a specific model, transmission and color. Found it at Liberty Mazda. I contacted them via email and worked with William Tolly. Even though I only discussed the car with him via email, he was continued to work with me - gave me a great price and was attentive and professional all the way. In the end, I decided the car was too far away (>200 miles) and had to let it go. If you are in the general area, I would suggest giving Liberty Mazda a try. I came to them out of the blue and only online, but I was treated fairly and offered a great deal. Thanks guys!

My husband and I had a wonderful experience purchasing a new Mazda 3 from Liberty Mazda. My husband found a car we were interested in on line and set up an appointment for me to go and test drive the vehicle. Our salesperson, Bill was wonderful to work with. The day of the test drive turned out to be very snowy. Bill was very kind and let us check out the car and reschedule the test drive. We went back a few days later and test drove and purchased the car.I would recommend Liberty Mazda and Bill to anyone who is thinking of buying a car.

Went into the showroom last weekend. It was raining and cold so almost no customers were around. My wife and I walked in, walked around, sat in a CX-5, played with it, got out, stood around and no one approached us, nothing. I went to the bathroom, came back, still ignored. At least four salesmen were sitting in the sales office not three feet from us chewing the fat and ignoring us. Bought a Honda CR-V Touring (not an inexpensive car) next door instead.It's an experience like this that frankly means Ill never go to Liberty Mazda again.

I had the most pleasant experience at Hartford Mazda. My sale consultant Ken hicks was very professional and knowledgeable about the Mazda vehicles. Eventho I had done my research prior to visiting. Pleasant, personable, professional, trustworthy and understanding,(just one of God's more peaceful creatures), he walked us through the entire car buying process without a hitch. No trouble...peaceful transaction. We walked in for our appointment at 9:30 a.m. and he greeted us at the door with a big smile and a warm welcome, had two black Mazda 3s waiting because my husband told him I wanted black but I changed my mind when I saw the white one. No problem...George changed everything, got the key to the white one and by 2:00 p.m. that same afternoon, I drove off in a brand new 2016 beautiful white Mazda 3 with ALL THE TRIMMINGS for a great lease price I just couldn't refuse!! Next car in three years? My Miata!! Wanted to get one this time but I can wait. Everyone at Mazda Liberty was pleasant and professional. Need a Mazda?? I recently had my car serviced at Liberty Mazda. I was greeted by Jonathan right away and went over the concerns I had. He was technically knowledgable and very professional. He made me feel at ease that my car was in good hands. I was soon after greeted by the Service Manager, Jason. He is a hands on manager who truly cares about his customers and the reputation of the service department. The facility is clean and modern with a nice waiting area but I chose to take their free shuttle back home. Although I'm not a mechanic, I know a lot about cars and do a lot of work myself so I usually know what is wrong with my car when I bring it in to be serviced. I use this knowledge to judge the honesty and integrity of a service center. The diagnosis and suggested repairs by Liberty Mazda were spot on. They were honest and fair. I will not hesitate to use Liberty Mazda Service next time the need arises and I would recommend them to friends and family.

This is a 2015 Mazda 3 which I purchased 3 months ago. Was driving on the New Jersey Turnpik tonight, all the sudden I heard boom, something exploded. Turned out to be the window on the driver side, then the glass was just shattering into small pieces and fell out of the car. We then parked on the side of the high way and I started to call the Mazda Roadside Assistant, after telling the lady my information and about what happened I told her I want to talk to the dealership where I bought my car first, because the dealership was about to close less than 45 minutes. I called the number from Liberty Mazdas website and told the operator that I want to talk to sales(because service was closed already). Then she transferred me to a store, the man who answered the phone was rude, he kept telling me that the dealership is about to close and he can do nothing, the earliest time he could get me a loaner is going to be Monday. I was not satisfied with his answer and mad with the nasty attitude. Finally he asked me who was the sales guy who sold me the car, I told him the name he said that person does not work for them. Then he realized I called the wrong Liberty Mazda location and cant wait just hanged up the phone. So I called again, finally this time I called the right number. A sales guy answered the phone. I told him that the dealership was on my way home, so I would like to drop off the car at the dealership and get a loaner. The reason was I dont have a garage and I dont feel comfortable leaving my car outside with a broken window. He was first insisting that no he can not help me, the dealership will be closing soon. I told him I dont want to be unreasonable but this is an emergency and it was not my fault(luckily I had a dashboard camera which recorded everything). Then he finally compromised and told me to drop the car off because they would have security at night and they can help me to move the car to the inside. However, I will not get a loaner. I told him no, because where I live is an hour away, how am I suppose to get home without a car. Then he handed the phone to a manager, after knowing what happened, he said even thought I drop the car off at the dealer it will still be parked outside, nobody will be there to help me move the car inside. What a contradictory statement! Then I asked him about the repair, without given it a thought he said Mazda warranty will not cover the glass, you should call the insurance company. Why in the world would I call my insurance company? It is an obvious manufactory defect. On a second thought service at Liberty Mazda helped me fixed that window in October because the noise it was made while I was driving. He tighten the window, maybe it was too tight? Im writing this just to warn you dont purchase car from them. More than likely if something like this happened you will be treated just like this. They just care that they sold you a car, anything beyond that will be your own business. A simple question like Are you ok? Did you hurt? was not asked by either one of the three guys I talked tonight. Instead they just want to get off work on time and be done with it! I am telling all my friends and family to not buy car from Liberty Mazda. And personally I would never purchase a Mazda.

My father and I stopped in one night about 45 minutes before closing and we were greeted by Jason Nye. We were looking at the 2016 Mazda 6 and Jason was able to answer all of our questions and his product knowledge was outstanding. Every question about the car I asked he was able to answer right away. I've sold cars a few years back and I've also bought good amount of cars in the past but I never had a salesman as knowledge and friendly as Jason. I went back on the weekend to test drive the car and he explained to me the way they price the vehicles and all the offers they have. He also explained to me that they are non commission based. Being non commission definitely helps eliminate the pressure but Jason have me zero pressure. I had an outstanding experience with Jason and I highly recommend seeing him if you're interested in a car on their lot.

The experience of buying my first car was smooth and painless. Chris was an awesome asset in helping me with the process. He took the time to walk me through all the things that I should know about regarding the car buying process. Not only that he made it seem easy and understandable for me as a new car buying customer. It was a very smooth process from the first day of looking at and test driving to actually signing the papers and driving it off the lot. He was even there for me when I had questions early in the morning. The dealership could be a little more welcoming in terms of the lounge area and could have the coffee hot throughout the day but other than that, overall was great! I really love my new Mazda 3!

These guys don't make commission, and it really reflects positively. There is no pressure to buy a car, move up a trim, add extra features, etc. They want to put you in the correct car that fits your wants/needs and budget. Really great experience, and Mario helped us get the best price possible by using every deal possible through his boss. Great guy, and I love the car.

Liberty Mazda went above and beyond when I purchased my first certified pre-owned vehicle from them. Sales employee Jason Nye and his manager Harold Martino provided excellent customer service and made the buying process simple. This was my first time purchasing a vehicle on my own and I felt no pressure from them. I reside in NY, but Liberty Mazda had the car that I had been looking for. Great customer service. Hassle free NO Haggle pricing. No pressure shopping experience. Fair Trade offer. Fun and knowledgeable staff. No up sale tactics. They listen to what you want and need and match you to proper vehicle. Finance works the banks and numbers to get the best possible deal. More than just a "sign here" service. Service is convenient: 7 day availability, drive in check in, and techs who know their cars. And a manager to stand behind the promises. Facilities are modern, attractive, and clean with a nice travel flow. Coffee isn't the best, but it is free in the user friendly cafe. Free WiFi available too. TV lounge and kiddie play nook are great for waiting on service. Or you can get a free ride to work, the mall, or even a coffee shop. They aim to please.

In just a few weeks I had occasion to go to Liberty Mazda in Hartford after my daughter crashed and totaled her 2010 Mazda 3. She was absolutely devastated. The salesmen were helpful and compassionate and that lead to her buying another Mazda 3, 2012. That also led to me buying my other daughter a used 2006 Mazda, and now my wife is seriously thinking of buying a new Mazda 6. I have always been a little skeptical of dealers but I was comfortable there. Mario Cipolla was excellent.

We recently purchased/leased a brand new 2016 Mazda CX-5 and we couldn't be more satisfied with the service we received from our salesman, Adrian Scarpa. We actually arrived at the showroom 15 minutes before closing on a Sunday. Nevertheless, Adrian took us right out for a test drive in the model that we were most interested in, and then sat down with us to discuss the various options that were available to us - models, add-on, leasing, etc. We found him to be courteous, patient, extremely knowledgeable and competent, and most importantly, genuinely interested in making sure we found the car and the price that worked best for us. We recognized that we couldn't sit and chat indefinitely because of the late hour, but had Adrian rushed us through this initial process, we might not have come back. But because of that initial welcoming encounter, we returned to the dealership the next day to test drive a few more cars. After receiving from Adrian what we believe to an excellent leasing option that incorporated a very generous trade-in value for the existing car that we were eager to unload, we drove off that evening with a new Mazda. It was many times easier than we had been expecting when we embarked on the car-buying venture. The experience with Adrian and his colleagues at Liberty Mazda was positive in every way and left us with the impression that this is a competent, efficient, well-managed dealership that places a premium on customer service. In other words, they're not simply relying on the excellent reputation of the Mazda cars to sell themselves, and they want to generate a base of repeat customers that recommends their dealership to others. They certainly did a good job of recruiting us into that category.

I bought my first brand new car at Liberty Mazda, a 2015 Mazda 6 i Touring!! This after owning several autos in my life, all of which were used when I bought them. That been said, I am very well versed in the "tactics" of car salesmen. I'm happy to say that NONE of those "tactics" were displayed by ANY of the staff. My sales associate, Mario Cipolla was truly exceptional. He did NOT try to "sell" me anything. Instead, he helped me buy a car; there is a massive difference. I chose Liberty Mazda for one main reason: Lifetime power train warranty for as long as I own the car. I know of no other dealer that does this, and keeps their prices very similar to other Mazda dealers. Plus, the more research I've done, the more I found that Mazda is a very reliable car with very low cost of ownership. I'm that guy that will drive a car to well over 200k before considering getting rid of it, so that warranty makes buying from Liberty a no-brainer. I was most impressed with the honesty of the sales staff and the absolutely NO PRESSURE attitude from everyone I dealt with, especially Mario. He was very knowledgeable, friendly, and always relaxed; again: NO PRESSURE! I would absolutely recommend Liberty Mazda to anyone looking to buy a car.

I got the best lease deal from Liberty Mazda. I shopped three other dealers. The salesman was great. Not pushy at all. He listened to all of my many questions and had the answers or found them if needed. He was very accomodating as I went on three test drives before deciding on the Mazda 6 Touring. I was also able to email and text him as well. The finance person was great to work with too. There were no surprises and I loved that! Everyone was friendly and relaxed. I feel like part of the Mazda family now. I love my car!

I knew exactly what I was looking for. A 2012 Mazda5 that I saw on Cars.com. I called - easy phone call. I test drove the same afternoon - on a Saturday - got immediate help. On Sunday I called Adrian and said I wanted it. He emailed and texted me (after hours) to make sure I had what I needed and got the paperwork done. Monday morning follow-up call. Monday afternoon picked up our new Mazda. They made the process very easy. The final sales pitch for upgrade packages was a bit of work ... but we got where we needed to be.

I made an appointment through their online scheduling system. Admittedly I got there a few minutes late, but after speaking with someone, they weren't even aware of the appt and had to check the computer records, which took some time. Clearly no one had been waiting for me. Ok, that part is understandable, it is just a scheduling system that doesn't work very well. But it got worse. They told me to have a seat until a representative was ready. I waited and waited and waited. I tried to flag people down, but they kept walking past, very briskly. Finally after almost an hour I gave up and left. They didn't seem very busy, maybe they are understaffed, but it seemed like there were plenty of people just standing around (in the back room).

This is the 2nd vehicle we have purchased with an Executive Auto Dealership. The first one was my 2014 Acura MDX. My husband went to Acura of North Haven and had the pleasure of meeting Bana Azhari and John Apuzzo. They were outstanding to do business with and my husband came home and said we are picking your new car up in 3 days. This is the most wonderful car and I assure you I will never drive anything other than an Acura which I will always return to Acura of North Haven and work with Bana and John. Bana was terrific she knew everything about my new Acura and all it's features. Well here we were 2 months later and we wanted to surprise our two daughters with a new car. They wanted a Mazda, I always remembered Bana telling us that Executive had a Mazda Dealership in Hartford but when it came time to just go see her. My husband went in told John Apuzzo what we had wanted to do. He had Bana call Liberty Mazda in Hartford tell the gentleman what we wanted. John Apuzzo called the Manager and here we are again 4 days later bringing home the car our daughters wanted, 2015 Mazda Grand Touring with all the bells and whistles. We want to thank Hannah and Gary up at Liberty Mazda for greeting us up there in Hartford and having the car ready to go. Again, thank you Bana for being the great saleswoman that you are and John Apuzzo for the fantastic General Manager that you are. Doing business with Executive has been a pleasure and we know that there is no other Auto Group that we would ever do business with in the future. You are simply outstanding!!!!!

I found Liberty Mazda through Auto Trader and I have to say overall I was pleased with my experience. The sales men were not overly "Sale-sy" and everyone we talked to was fairly helpful.I ended up buying the first car I test drove after many, many test drives in other Mazdas and similar models by Honda and Toyota.One thing my dad and I were not happy about is that they hid the fact that they do not negotiate price. We were under the impression that we could make a lower offer and try to get a price I was more comfortable with. However, the sales manager was completely unwilling to budge on the price, even after days of waiting.I later found out my car was well below market price so I guess in some ways I feel better about my purchase but still...Liberty needs to be more upfront about price.Another issue was the financing. I already had amazing financing set up with an outside credit union and the financing guy at Liberty told me he could do even better. This was not true.I ended up using my own financing and am very happy that I did.If you're looking at buying a Mazda do your research and consider Liberty because they have a huge selection and their customer service is great.If you want a salesmen who isn't pushy or annoying ask for Michael! Great car buying experience. The team was very honest, informative, and easy to work with. The getting approved part was a bit more difficult than I wanted it to be, but that's not something they have a lot of control of. They worked with the banks to get me the best rate possible. *Do your shopping around for rates outside of their creditors and then come back with your quotes to see if their banks will then beat them. Overall a good experience and I got a brand new Mazada 3 iTouring for 3500 less than original price. :)

Greeted by name as I pulled in. Associate pulled up my appointment details I had entered into your on-line site and asked appropriate questions to understand the problem. Came to me when the diagnosis was confirmed and gave me an accurate completion estimate. Actually never go a chance to grab a coffee as I had a very pleasant conversation with a salesman. He was very technicall knowledegable about your products and others. Don't remember his name but he drives a 2006 Miata himself. I have scheduled appointments with other dealers before on what appear to be "vaporware" web sites. If you are going to put up an appointment website, it has to work or you antagonize your customers (the healthcare sign up website is a perfect example). But your system works beautifully and definately make me more prone to use you in the future. I especially like being able to describe the problem in details. It's easier to write details ahead of time than trying to remember at the time of the appointment.

I wanted to write a review on behalf of William Tolly. A couple months ago, my girlfriend and I were both in the market for new cars, and decided to start by looking at Mazdas. My girlfriend was looking at the CX-5 and I was interested in the 3. Will was our sales representative and he did a fantastic job. He answered all of our questions (and there were a LOT of them) in a clear, concise manner and demonstrated a high level of professionalism. I was impressed with how knowledgeable he was regarding the various models that we looked at and how well he was able to relay the information to us. I was equally impressed with his demeanor. At no point did my girlfriend or I feel like we were being pressured into anything, which was something that we later discussed after leaving the dealership. In addition to his knowledge regarding the Mazdas, Will was also familiar with the other makes as well. There was a black Mercedes C300 on the lot that my girlfriend instantly fell in love with, and Will was able to help us and answer all our questions regarding that car as well as he did with the Mazdas. Eventually, she would buy a C300 from a Mercedes dealership that offered her a price that she could not pass up. Ultimately, I did end up buying a Mazda 3, but ended up having to buy it back home in Pennsylvania for logistic reasons. I am servicing my car with Liberty Mazda now, and just wanted to express my gratitude towards Will and the rest of the staff for being so friendly, respectful and knowledgeable, and making the car-buying experience so much easier.

Sales consultant Ryan Peterson is a sweetheart! I was very impressed with the test drive we took my Mazda 2 on--it thoroughly took the car through its paces--highway and city driving and a demo of the Mazda's tight turning radius. Even though he's young, he knows his product and knows how to sell it. Business manager Justin Hagan was really easy talk to, and explained my options and addressed my concerns in a low key, non-threatening way. On my second visit to Liberty Mazda on Monday, I came in very rattled and upset. I had just come from a rival dealership, and had a really bad experience with the sales consultant there. By contrast, Ryan and Justin treated me with respect and I really REALLY appreciated that! I would definately recommend Liberty Mazda to my friends and family!

Brought my 2003 Tribute in on a Saturday morning to have a recall item fixed. The experience was top notch from the moment I called to make an appointment. Got lost on the way, called for directions and had another excellent experience. Ben Nixon greeted me and had one of the best attitudes I've ever encountered at a dealership anywhere. Professional, smart, witty, efficient and thoroughly knowledgeable. The new dealership could use some better and much bigger signage from the main road, but it's just beautiful. Inside the showroom, there's plenty of natural light, decent music and room to spread out with a laptop and newspaper in a quiet, little cafe area. The TV area is separate, with nice leather-ish furniture. Fresh coffee and a great experience with Amber the cashier, and I am one happy camper who will probably be back for service in the future - especially now that I know Thursday evenings are an option until 8 p.m. Thank you!

Worst dealership I have ever been to . Salesman didn't know the cars and all he cared about was pitching window etching. Never gave us a number for our trade. And to top it all off when he gave us his card, he scratched out someone else's info and hand wrote his in. Wrote a complaint to the dealership, but they offered me nothing to come back. Stay away! My wife and I purchased a cx-9 From Liberty in 2011. It was a decent buying experience. We love the car. But the miles are climbing so we are ready to upgrade. We reviewed the website early last week and found another cx-9 that fit our needs. My wife emailed back and forth with salesman Jaime. On Wednesday morning they agreed I should come test drive the car that afternoon around 2:00. I made the 40 minute commute. After unsuccessfully attempting to locate any salesmen I spent twenty minutes trying to locate the car using the Liberty Mazda website to get the number of the car. Eventually a young man came out. He brought me to a man named Bill. He looked up the car in the system. It was active. Then he spent ten minutes trying to find it. Long story short, the car had been delivered to its new owner the day before. Still available online and still setting appointments for test drives after its already sold! So I was annoyed at the waste of my time but fully prepared to see what he had to offer in its place. Bill said he was sorry and to have a nice day and he walked away. Unbelievable. He doesn't want my money! Well, I really liked my first experience and our car so I decided to give it another go. I found a nice cx-7 on the Liberty Mazda website today. I was traveling through Hartford for work anyway so I stopped in. After twenty minutes of looking at cars in the lot (including the cx-7 from their website) a salesman came out. I told him I was interested in the car. He said it sold yesterday. I told him I was disappointed because this is the second car listed on their website that isn't really for sale and this one is all labelled up for sale with no sold sign. He apologized and went back inside with out trying to sell me a car. Do you want my repeat business Liberty Mazda? It doesn't seem like it.

I HATE purchasing a new car. I HATE feeling pressured and/or ignored. I was a female purchasing the car of my choice (within reason) and I went to a lot of dealers and was dealing/putting up with the dealers. When I went to Liberty in Hartford the first time they were busy, a good sign but can be annoying if you have to wait to long. They kindly unlocked the car I was interested in looking at so I could look around in it as I waited. Alone time with the car is rare but what I like when trying to decide. Kevin Knapp was my sales person and he was the reason I purchased my Cx-9 from Liberty. He was the real deal. He didn't push me into buying the car. He just helped me make the decision. Though because of his honesty and prompt attention to emails and phone calls I chose to drive an hour and a half from home passing one dealer closer to me by 45 minutes to purchase at Liberty Mazda, specifically from Kevin Knapp. The people behind him were equally as nice and helpful. Even the business manager (another area for sketchy) was a nice person. I would recommend this dealer and Kevin Knapp (no I am not related to him or even seen him since my purchase. I am just relieved that their are real people out their selling cars to people like me a middle aged female).

Adrian S, our wonderful salesman at Liberty Mazda, sold me a car just a week ago, and I must admit that he was not only very amiable to work with, very knowledgeable about his product, but most of all very patient with me, who had innumerable questions about the CX5 simply because I had not bought a new car in twelve years! Did I forget to say that Adrian is just a nice guy and the kind of guy everyone wants to encounter at a dealership? I frankly thought after a very thorough research of my top cars that I was going to buy another car because it seemed a good deal even if the Mazda was my first choice for looks. However, when I told Adrian that and he knew I was on the fence about these two cars, he sat down with me and compiled a list of the advantages of the Mazda---which clearly was making the Mazda a better deal. That clinched it for me. Finally I must admit that when I first entered the dealership if I had met a pushy, arrogant salesman, I would not have gone back for a second look, but Adrian was so easy to deal with, that I went back just because of him.

The negative stereotypes of car-buying did not apply to my experience at Liberty, where I just got a new car for the first time in twelve years. The incentives were generous and the bargaining was fair and not drawn-out at all. The people who work there struck me as friendly, happy, and genuine. There is a sense of humor and a sense of fun about the place. After you buy or lease a car, you get to ring a gong - after which the staff claps. Car-buying should be a happy and exciting experience. They get that at Liberty. I worked with Adrian Scarpa - a very nice and genuine person. The general manager, Chris Wilkie, is also cool. I love my new car and I feel that I got it on fair terms. No new gray hairs from the experience. Why don't more people drive Mazdas?

My husband and I purchased our Mazda CX-7 a year ago from Liberty Mazda. I did my research online and narrowed down a few cars that met our criteria. I test drove a car at one other place before visiting Liberty Mazda. My experience at Liberty Mazda has been positive from that first visit until the present time. I have since had routine maintenance performed there and have always received good customer service. I was particularly pleased with my last visit on June 14, 2013. I went to this dealership with every intention of purchasing a vehicle, however I left very disappointed when they were complete unwilling to work with me at all in negotiating a price. The price the gave me was good, but not an amazing deal, so I made them an offer only slightly less than the price they were asking. My offer was refused with little to no consideration, they did not even present me with a counter offer. So I walked out, and they lost a sale over a couple hundred dollars.

My wife and I stopped in just to have a look at the new Miata's and were very pleasantly surprised to find a very courteous, respectful and helpful sales staff. Within a few minutes of entering the facility we were greeted and guided through a review of the cars available. Our sales consultant Kevin Knapp was very informative and helpful with providing us all the details about the different models and options available. Once we determined the model of Miata we wanted and the additional options we wanted to add Kevin was able to provide us with a very competitive price without us feeling as if we had to work to get a fair price. The entire process was an unexpected and a welcome change from many of the auto dealership experiences we have had in the past. Once we had agreed to purchase the car we were given a date that we could come in and pick up the car. Some of the additional options we had selected were not in stock and required a few additional days to order and install on the car. During that time Kevin and the other sales consultants, Harold and Ken provided us with updates to the status and when we could expect to pick up the car. On the day of delivery we met with Kevin and everything went as expected and on time without any issues. Our dealings with Justin Hagan the Business Manager in taking care of all of the paperwork details was as impressive. The process went smoothly and Justin also was very helpful and respectful to us. The additional options and warranty he provided us was a nice addition to an already great experience. Chris Wilkie, the General Manager stopped in and continued the same supportive positive experience. This dealer gave us an entirely new outlook at buying a car. If you are in the market for a new car you should definitely stop in and see this dealership as they will provide you with an exceptional car buying experience. We were very disappointed with this dealer. We purchased a 2008 Mazda5, and were told that it would be registered and delivered to us on the following day. The car never showed up. When I called our salesman the next day, he told me that he no longer worked for Liberty Mazda!! Concerned, I called the dealer and was informed that the car hadn't been registered, and that our salesman should have told us it can take up to a week. We were able to go down and pick up the car. Upon arriving home, we found that one remote control didn't work and that we had received none of the documentation about the "enviroguard" add-on that we'd been promised. I do not plan to return.

Visiting this dealership was one of the worst experiences ever. First off, I set up an appointment with them and when I came in it was like I just decided to waltz on in. They didn't have me scheduled, didn't know why I was there, they didn't even know my name. Second, when they did find out what was wrong with my car, they ordered the wrong part! Third, once they received the correct part and finished installation, they took so long with the paperwork. They asked me if I wanted it to be faxed to me since I had to go back to work and so I agreed. I had to call back 3 times the NEXT DAY in order to finally receive my paperwork. I would not recommend this dealership to anyone. The only upside is the service rep, Amber was very friendly, and Eric was also pretty helpful attempting to get things sorted out, but still was one of the worst experiences I've ever had to fix my car.

Bought a 2012 mazda 3 in Febuary 2013, The sales man was Adrian Hester, I was pricing different makes and models on the internet and the mazda 3 came up as a consumer reports best buy, I never really considered buying a mazda before. I checked some prices and Liberty had the best ones. About the same time Adrian contacted me about my internet inquires. So i figured might as well check one out. I am glad I did. This is a great car and is fun to drive. the sales team was great, they even gave me directions over the phone when my GPS crapped out due to a storm. Only 4000 miles so far but if this car still runs this good at 60000 miles I will be back to liberty for another.

I leased a brand new 2012 Mazda3 and I love it. They did a really great job getting me into the one I wanted. They also made sure to keep a check in with how I liked it after I got it. I have only put 2600 on it so far and have had no problems. I'm very pleased with the service and friendliness of the staff and they answered my questions very clearly. I wouldn't hesitate recommending this dealer to a friend.

I leased a car from Liberty on March 15 and couldn't be happier! This is the car I've been dying to have for the past three years. Car situation changed and lead me to go see Kevin. Not your typical pushy car salesman. He was very attentive to what I was looking for and answered all my questions even if they were a bit silly sometimes. Can't go wrong with a guy that drives the car he is selling! The features and safety were huge for me and my family (fiance and new dog). Cargo space was next and I ended up with everything that I wanted without having to pull teeth or haggle prices. Everyone there was friendly and kind from the guys walking around keeping the place clean to the receptionist when you walk in the door. It was not a stuffy place at all, everyone was there to do their job and have a good time doing it. The gong at the end of the sale is a nice touch too! Will be back when my fiance is ready to replace his car. See you then Kevin!

The process of selecting my new CX-9 was made quite pleasant by my salesperson, Adrian Hester - Adrian worked with us, understanding our wants, needs and desires, and then guided us through the selection process without pressure. He allowed us ample time to make our final selection, never pressuring us into a buying decision. The process of closing the transaction and completing all the necessary paperwork was also smooth and hassle-free. Unfortunately, we did miss a beat on the actual delivery - the car was delivered to us without one of the ordered accessories, requiring me to make a return trip a day later. And, while we had been promised a pick-up time, when we arrived a few minutes aerly our new car was still in the get-ready area, requiring us to wait an additional 90 minutes after the scehduled pick-up time. A simple telephone call to advise of the missing accessory and the delay in preparing the car would have been much appreciated...... The missing accessory was delivered and installed the following day, as thus far we are quite pleased with the total shopping/buying experience, and with the CX-9.

Great experience from start to finish. Sales rep Ken Hicks was knowledgable, attentive and caring throughout the whole process and I always felt that he was looking after my needs, not trying to sell me something I didn't want or need. Got a great car at a great price and the whole process was effortless. He also spent an hour with me after delivery helping me set up the Bluetooth phone and Sirius radio. He went above and beyond.

As an unfortunately result of hurricane Sandy I found myself needing to quickly get a replacement vehicle. I wanted a used truck and found one for sale at Liberty Mazda. My overall buying experience was Excellent! When I got to the dealership, I found everyone friendly and helpful. We took a testdrive and it went very well. There was no "hard sell" type actively, just helpful friendly conversation. The condition and the price of the truck relative to others I had seen were great and so we closed the deal. There were a couple issues like a weak battery, but Liberty took care of that with a new replacement and full cleaning of the truck before I picked it up. They were also very helpful in getting all the registration paperwork completed and even emailed me a PDF of the registration when completed. THAT was cool! Just a great experience overall!!!

I came here from Chicopee MA about an hour drive to look at a Chevy HHR. John McNeil was the sales associate I had he was very knowledgeable and friendly. My experience was most pleasurable. I have been very aprehensive about buying a new car. My last experience, at another dealership, was very difficult. Rich made me feel very comfortable from the start. Rich was very detailed in explaining the car's options and my options for financing. I will recommend Liberty Mazda, especially Rich, to anyone I know that's looking for a car.

I went to Liberty Mazda (in Connecticut) from my home in Massachusetts to purchase a used hardtop Miata, since there are relatively few in the New England area. I found their unwillingness to negotiate on price frustrating--they played a bit of the game where you say "this is too high" and then they make you wait 45 minutes until they come back and say "no." Especially given the length of my drive, I felt they didn't respect the effort I had put in. In the end, they offered me a fair price, but certainly not an excellent one.I was also somewhat frustrated by their service. Since I'm from Mass, we had to do a more complicated transfer of title, and since I purchased towards the end of the month they pushed very hard for me to drive the car off the lot in a two day window. This was very difficult, and when I drove down to get there at 9am I needed to wait the entire day for registration--they nearly sent me home in a rental car. While I was happy that they would have paid for a rental, I felt the communication was extremely unclear, as I never really got a sense of how things were progressing and what to expect.Finally, I felt like they inadequately prepared me for some of the details of used car ownership, since this was my first "real" vehicle purchase. For instance, they didn't tell me to get my vehicle inspected within 7 days--I had thought this was done when they registered the car.These frustrations have mounted up, and though I'm thankful I received the car that I did at a fair price, I felt I might have been better served waiting more. I would say this dealership is certainly better than some, but does not lead the pack.

Liberty Mazda is definitely the way to go if and when you are ready to buy or even lease a vehicle. All of the staff are friendly and knowledgeable on their variety of cars. They will always stop and help you no matter what they were previously doing. When I went in to lease my second Mazda 3, Ken Kicks was my sales rep. and he is by far the most caring and charismatic person I have ever met. He would always make sure that I would leave with every question I had answered. And if I had a question later on that night or even the next day he made himself available to me to make sure those questions were answered (even on his day off!). You would be silly to go anywhere else to purchase or lease a car. Ken Hicks and the rest of the Liberty Mazda team are truly amazing.

Darold was more than accommodating in showing me the ins and outs of the dealership as well as my new Mazda 3. Darold helped me sync my iPhone to the Bluetooth in my car and did an amazing job meeting every need I had. Darold and liberty worked hard to make this the easiest car buying experience, period, which is something that I appreciate from being in the military. Work smarter not harder, and that, Darold did.

I went into the dealership with a problem and didn't have an appointment. I had a headlight out and attempted to fix it myself. I couldn't get the replacement bulb in so last resort I went to Liberty Mazda. They were great! They took me on the spot, popped the bulb that I had purchased in the headlight and didn't charge me. They were really great and have been every other time I've been in for service.

Never buy a used car from liberty mazda.u bought one , I had to bring back. Too many things wrong. They say these cars are certified..when the truth is. Nobody has even looked at them. I got a different one.both cars I bought were wrecked. was not reported on car fax

My CX-7 was in an accident which blew out both of my left tires. I got my car towed to Liberty Mazda and was greeted by Jason Secor. After that point Jason took over the whole process and made me very very comfortable. He talked to my Insurance company, talked to the other party's insurance company, got me hooked up with a rental car, got rims for the car, tires, and so much more. I am extremely happy and satisfied with the courtesy, professionalism and the personal attention shown by Jason and the Liberty team. I would highly recommend Liberty Mazda. I have purchased a car from the Executive Auto Group before so I knew I would want to buy another one because their stores are truly remarkable. When you buy a car from the Executive Group, they make you feel special and they are not your typical car dealer. This time around, I bought a Mazda 3 at their Liberty Mazda store in Hartford. I was truly impressed with the quality and level of service once again. Everyone at Liberty Mazda was very friendly and courteous and attentive to my needs. They made the car shopping process simple and convenient. When I picked up my new vehicle, they did not have all the mats for the car so they had to order them. Once they arrived, they sent a driver to my job to hand deliver them to me. They went above and beyond in service. And now with their new MotorTrend certification, I also received key and dent replacement for a full year. I also recieved this unique Personal Assistant feature on my cell phone. Its basically your own personal assistant for ALL your needs....i.e. make dinner reservation, send addresses or phone numbers and even help my daughter with her homework questions. This was something I definitely did not expect to receive when buying a car! Buying a car at Liberty Mazda was truly a pleasurable experience.

I put down a deposit after negotiating with salesperson who kept going back and forth to some other guy in the office. Of course he never came out to talk, just sent the salesperson running each time I had a question. They kept asking me for my credit information which I didn't really want to give until I fully agreed to buy the car. but gave them anyway and they told me they could arrange the financing without a co-signer. That was good news. So I signed the papers and gave them my deposit. I get a call that afternoon from some lady who said they couldnt get the terms they quoted me but if I was willing to pay alot more they could get it approved. She also said the new payment included some stuff that I wasnt sure about and ot sure I needed. This got me suspicious so I call another dealer that was like 40 minutes away near waterbury. They told me they would match the price and not give me the runaround. So I went down and they got the loan approved for the original rate that mazda is promoting on their website. So I purchased the car from the second dealer. I was disappointed with my experience at liberty mazda but Im glad I found the other dealer on the mazda website. it pays to shop around and compare.

AFter a few months of research I decided to buy a new Mazda3. I had read all kinds of stories on the internet about car buying and what to watch out for. I shopped a few dealers and found the exact car I wanted at Liberty Mazda in Hartford. They werent the closest Mazda dealer to my house but they had the car. I went down to Liberty and they showed me the car and let me go on a drive to see if I liked the car. I already had driven the car at the other dealers but wanted to go again to make sure. I had researched the price and decided to make an offer a little lower than the prices that I had seen on Edmunds and some other websites. I was kinda nervous since I had never purchased anything this expensive before but they didn't seem to pull alot of the stuff I read about. They seemed more eager to sell the car than the other dealers I went to. Maybe because of my age (22) the other dealers didn't take me seriously. The salesperson who was around my dad's age, was respectful and didn't talk down to me. We agreed on a price and we did the financing paperwork. I didn't have much credit but what I did have was good and I had saved up a $5000 down payment and after around 15-20 minutes they said the loan was approved and I could pick up my new car later that day. I got even more nervous but was excited at the sametime. So far I love my new Mazda and I was really happy how Liberty Mazda treated me.
