A good experience. Sure, the big servicing a cost, but you get thiroughness when you pay for it. This service addresses so many areas essential for optimum performance. I work late hours and depend on my Toyota always to perform. I feel so much better knowing that I have done my part to take care of my truck, and that this in turn will take care of me. From the very beginning we were treated with respect and courtesy.Jeff Lovett, the sales consultant, was articulate and friendly. He was excellent at explaining various features of the different autos we looked at and finding us the one that most fit our needs. We asked lots of questions which Jeff was very willing to answer or if necessary, to consult with someone else if he didn't have the answers. We were not pressured at any time to make a quick decision on a lease/purchase. We appreciated that.When we finally made a decision we were treated very respectfully by the Finance Manager and once again things were explained clearly when it was necessary.The facility itself was clean and comfortable. We were amazed at how friendly and congenial other employees in the facility seemed to be.We didn't expect this experience to be as satisfactory as it turned out to be. We highly recommend Lithia Toyota for anyone looking for an automobile.

My wife and I went by Lithia Toyota, Redding, kinda just checking out Tundra P/u's. We ask for a Salesperson and Uncle Mike Morris came out and introduced himself. We told him what we were interested in, he said he had some out back in lot , we walked with him and he showed us a couple, that were kinda what we wanted to see. I told him I wanted a Tundra V-8 , long bed 6.5 feet, he ask what color and we said either silver or dark gray. He said he had a new one just came in. We went over and looked at it and it was exactly what we had in mind. We said lets Do it ! Mike walked us thru the whole deal, as we are VERY HAPPY with the new 2017 Tundra. We also went back a couple days later to get running boards bought and installed.

I am really impressed with the after sale service I've been receiving at Lithia Toyota. I have had my car for about a year now and feel perfectly at home with the service crew. They listen to my service concerns and then go above and beyond to address them. Service is also super fast; I expected to be there at least an hour and was surprised when my car was done sooner. This is my second purchase of a Toyota Highlander that I have made from Lithia, and I have used their service department for the last seven years. Great Experience and it was actually Fun buying a vehicle again ! Tracy Nichols was totally the reason I purchased from Lithia. I visited Chuck Patterson in Chico, and Toyota Dealership in Ukiah to look at trucks and ask questions. I liked Tracy's sales style and was impressed by her knowledge. We return to the Toyota brand because it has proven over the years to be an incredibly reliable vehicle, no matter which model we purchase. We return to Lithia Toyota because of the excellent personnel they employ; everyone we've encountered from sales to service is knowledgeable and professional. Sacramento and the Bay Area have numerous huge Toyota dealerships where we could shop. Mostly we return to Redding because we feel valued as customers that Lithia Toyota wants to keep, not just for one sale, but for years of servicing our vehicles and being the dealership we choose when shopping for newer models to replace the Toyotas we love to drive.

Sat in the waiting room for 4.5 hours for an oil change, tire rotation and A/C check. Was only updated on the status of my vehicle when I went to the counter and got the info from an apathetic, impersonal drone behind the counter.There are better places to go with very capable service techs.Never again.

If they had, I would definitely have considered going out of town to buy. Jim Eddy was the salesman who helped us and sold the car to us last Monday. We felt he had our best interest at heart as well as Lithia's. That is a good thing, because it brings customers back. We have purchased 4 vehicles from Lithia. Jim pointed out features of the car and showed us how to use them and has followed up with us since our purchase.

This is a follow up to my previous review; I went by the dealership yesterday due to my phone and Entune not communicating and I couldn't fix it. No one and I mean no one acknowledged me at all; not even eye contact. Today I called and talked with a Shelby or Shelly; told her what happened and that I still have a problem and need to get it fixed. She told me to come by. I did Shelby tried to get it to work but couldn't but then proceeded to get another female I think her name was Jessica; a young woman. She patiently worked the problem and it was a problem. She didn't give up and now it works. I grateful for that; especially being a woman on her own and need to have hand free driving; however I always pull over to the side of the rode to talk; never drive and talk.So thank you to those two women who cared enough to take time from their day and probably not even in their job description to help me. I am truly grateful! Thank you ladies!!

Yesterday I brought my 2008 corolla in for a recall on the passenger air bag. I had made the appt last week on friday. I requested shuttle service to get me home. I was told the shuttle service would swap drivers at one in the afternoon. I dropped my car off at 12:30 pm. I waited for the half hour and no shuttle. so i waited for another half hour and still no shuttle. Finally, at one thirty in the afternoon,I called my friend to pick me up. At four in the afternoon my car was done. I told the gentleman that I never received shuttle service that day, I was in the lobby the whole time and no one even came in to see if any of us customers needed a ride. When I originally contacted Lithia via email they gave me the standard "come in and we'll talk." Once I explained that I made the deal for my last 5 cars online before stepping foot in the dealership--they started working with me. THAT is a huge change from 7-8 years ago when they refused to work with me online at all. In fact, 8 years ago I went elsewhere to buy my car because even when I went in, I got treated like "the little woman" (very condescending). Anyway, BIG change this time. "Dan" worked well with me from the start and was friendly, and although they did not totally MEET my price, they got close enough to keep me from going out of town to buy. Dan gave me his cell number and came in on his day off. The experience at the dealership when we did go in was no surprises and went smooth. Car was clean with a full tank of gas. Follow up a couple days later to check in with us, appreciated but not needed. I got a free hat, lol. Little things matter when you're writing a big check!

I bought my truck from this dealership and have had it service there regular since its first oil change and more times than not I have had oil or grease on my floor mats. My truck is used and is not that clean but you would think it would be good to keep oil off of floor mats. I really like the service I recieve but I wish they would be more careful in the service department not to get oil on the carpets.

The salesman who helped me (Wes) had a very laid back approach. He didn't hound me with phone calls and he didn't try to talk me into leasing a vehicle, which we all know is a big joke.He took me on some test drives, then gave me a brochure with the numbers I needed to analyze. That's it. When I went back to buy my car, I was pleasantly surprised to find out the price had been reduced by another $1000. I was satisfied with the price and didn't feel the need to negotiate it down. All I did ask for was a cargo net to be included. When the dealer declined my request, Wes stepped in and bought it for me. What a champ!

First and foremost, we were met by a wonderful Employee named Tracy Nichols. She met us with a smile and allowed us to lead the conversation and share what we wanted to look at. She made us feel comfortable right off the bat. We initially wanted to look at a Toyota Tundra (used) with 30 some thousand miles (2013). As we were going over the vehicle, I noticed she was playing on her cell phone. Halfway through our review of the Tundra, she smiled and told us that she just looked and could give us a brand new Tundra for only a thousand dollars more if that was something we wanted to look at. We agreed and throughout the next 40 minutes walked us through each vehicle until we stumbled upon exactly what we wanted. During the always nerve racking process of seeing if we were approved for a loan, she kept us calm and engaged by talking about her family and life and asked about our family and lives. She also kept us informed about each step and where we were at with the process. I could go on and on, but Tracy made an already great night (because we drove home in a new Tundra), even better with her high energy, spirit and passion for her job. She deserves recognition. Even if we would not have been approved and walked out without our Tundra, I would have left with a smile and a commitment that this Lithia Toyota Dealership will be getting my business down the road. Thank you Tracy for all that you did! You Rock!!!

Absolutely horrible!!!!!! We will never purchase another vehicle from them again. I have been telling them for years about the sounds my 2010 Corolla has been making it was like they didn't believe me. Recently did my 120,000 big service. Paid well over $1,000 and had to take it back because of a sound it was still making! They kept it over night said it was normal but then gave me the option to pay $900 to have something changed out. If it was normal then why would they offer that??? Also not even 1,000 miles after that service my maintenance required light came on!!!!

After a year and a half of driving the excellent RAV 4 all wheel drive, because of my work and where i drive I discovered I needed 4 wheel drive. I've had to buy more than a couple cars over the years, as I was a magnet for folks to crash into me. My luck changed for the better when I bought a 2011 Corolla in Jan 2012 from Lithia Toyota of Redding. Let me tell you about these guys - when you think of car salesmen, most people might think of adjectives like sleazy, liars, etc... Not these people. First- I had done my research on price points before I came, and as a result was able to close the deal in under 3 hours... Second, customer service is everything to these guys and it really shows. That's why when the opportunity came up for me to trade in my Corolla for a newer one, I jumped at the chance because unlike other dealerships, they will do everything they can to help you not feel anxious. I was not disappointed! I drive up all the way from the Bay Area to buy my cars specifically from Lithia Toyota of Redding now. I don't know of any other dealership that provides the full package like they do- hands down insanely good customer service (if you want the easiest time buying a car ever, ask for Wes Walton, you won't regret it), a service department with a stellar reputation and a fantastic selection of vehicles to choose from. And their finance guys are super easy to work with (as well as Toyota Financial) so please check these guys out first when buying a car :)

I took my car in for its 45,000 mile service and oil change on the Friday before Memorial Day Weekend. It was incredibly busy but the Service Advisor, Peter Flynn, was outstanding. There was a line of people waiting and he acknowledged each person personally as they stood in the line and helped each person as they reached his desk efficiently and quickly and in a very friendly manner and without a sense of being rushed or harried or stressed. Everyone felt personally acknowledged and attended to. I was impressed!

Dealing with Tracy Nichols was great. I live locally but talked to two other Toyota dealerships out of the area first. When I contacted Tracy and told her my price she checked with her sales manager and came back with a better deal. I don't like to haggle and I do my homework so I knew the numbers. When Tracy said she could beat the others I told her the color of the RAV4 that I wanted and said I would be in on Sunday at 10:00. Service department returned my call regarding a recall item notice on my 2005 Toyota Tundra and promptly made me an appointment at my convenience. Service department provided me an estimated time for completing the work and also replacing a taillight bulb I had noticed. Service department also found a license plate light bulb out. Recall work and both bulbs replaced in less than the time frame estimated by service department. I walked (was offered a ride) to breakfast on arrival and then returned to a comfortable waiting area for a short wait. Came to get oil changed from car we just purchased in last month from a private party. So glad I did for they showed me where rodents had been climbing under hood to keep warm and told me ways to keep them from causing damage to my car. Thank You so much I think his name was Sal, but not positive. David however just gave me paperwork for oil change not for my inside air filter being changed out. I used a credit card and didn't get the exact amount so wasn't sure how much I paid. Overall everything else went great. David also offered me lifetime oil changes for as long as I own my car which is a Rav 4, 2011. My husband and I are deciding on that before next oil change.

I was shopping at three different car lots with three different salespeople. We were shopping at Honda, Chevy, and Toyota. Our saleswoman Dee Dee, was just going home and asked us if we needed help. We were in the back of car lot where not to be bothered while we looked. At that time, she offered to stay and pointed out all the features of the Camry XSE. We test drove the car as she informed us of all the upgrades and operations. Dee Dee asked us if we were ready to buy the car, we made an appt. for 11:00 the following day. Lithia Toyota of Redding had the specific used car we were looking for, a 2015 Subaru WRX. They had it advertised in Autotrader and marked down almost $2,000. We knew we wanted this car unless there was something unexpectedly wrong with it. We contacted Mario Sierras on Saturday morning to find out if the car was still available, and it was. Later in the day we made the decision to see the car on Sunday, and Mario provided the Car Fax report for us and scheduled a 1:00 PM meeting. We were traveling over 200 miles to see the car, so Mario put it away for us so we would have the first shot at it on Sunday. Mario was available for us at 1:00 PM, we went on a leisurely test drive, and decided we wanted the car. The paperwork and negotiation is always the worst part about buying a car, but Mario made it as pleasant as possible with no real pressure, just the normal back-and-forth on offer and counter offer. Once we settled on the offer, Adam Saunders in Finance calmly and patiently walked us through all the paperwork. We declined on the extra warranty, but were not pushed to reconsider. A little after 4:00 PM we were driving away in our new purchase. The showroom is very clean and comfortable and a pleasant place to wait while the paperwork is prepared. All in all, a very satisfying experience. And we have our dream car.

Have been living in Redding sense 1974 and have not purchased a new Toyota here yet. I tried in late 2014 for a 2015 Tacoma and was the worst experience to date with Lithia Toyota's sales personnel ( all the way to the top of sales department ) . That is another story. As for the service department is it like night and day different. My last visit was for a bad tire on my 2015 Tacoma which had a problem with the installer very badly scratching the new rim but was quickly made right with a new rim ( installed today 4/14/16 ). Would like to bring special attention to service department personnel David Vang as a very professional and attentive person to the customer. AAA++++ employee. Just wish the sales department was like the service department. I would go nowhere else.

I get greeted by name every time I enter the facility, by more than one person! the crew will make recommendations for service, but never push for a sale. Although it took a few visits to correct some rattles in our Corolla in previous visits, the staff didn't stop until they had fixed it. Undercoating, etc had not been applied when we were called to pick up car so we had to bring it back the next day. Shuttle service brought us home but when car was ready and we requested shuttle we were told it would be about an hour. After waiting over an hour we called again and were told it would be another hour and a half! We ended up calling a taxi which cost us $20!

We made an appointment for warranty repair as we were coming from out of town. The customer service was friendly and efficient. When we returned from a short shopping trip, the car was ready. The service tech didn't think the car needed the work done, but we noticed that it took car of a noisy squeak. Toyota has been excellent of sending us notices of even minor warranty work, and next time I will schedule the work with an oil change. We love the new service facilities.

I like Lithia because, 1) They know my car and know how to keep it in great shape. 2) All the staff at this dealership are positive people, they make me feel welcome, listen to me if I have questions, I really appreciate the lifetime maintenance agreement, I love my Corolla, They have a very comfortable waiting area, They give me detailed explanations of service questions, they offer appointments for service when parts are needed but I really enjoy being able to just drop in for my oil changes, I enjoy being able to roam around looking at all the new cars if I choose to do this instead of waiting inside, Every person I meet that works at Lithia is very courteous, supportive and friendly. I made an appointment for lube, oil, tire rotation, but showed up a couple hours early figuring to take the shuttle back to work to pick up my car at the end of the work day. The service rep, David, called the shuttle driver and told me he was 20 minutes away, said he thought I could just wait.... Sure enough, my car was ready shortly after my "ride" was, and I was back to work in less than an hour.Their newly remodeled showroom includes the service waiting area and is the most comfortable I have ever seen.... no more claustrophobic small room with hard seats, TV blaring a show nobody is watching, but a nice wide open, airy space with comfortable seats, magazines and newspapers, and no noise!Thanks Lithia!

Every time I have gone in for my oil change the staff has always been very friendly and attentive. The waiting area is comfortable which makes your wait time seem shorter. They even noticed my back windshield wiper that was shredded and needed replacing. They replaced it which was awesome because it was a very stormy rainy day!! My cars oil change was prompt, so we could make our doctors appointment on time. Thanks Lithia for another painless visit!

Last time I came into the shop, the department I needed was in a trailer. The line was confusing, and employees were standing around eating donuts, not paying a bit of attention to the confusion of their customers.This time the experience was much better. The line was still a little confusing( I was there at 7am) but after the doors opened the confusion was cleared up and theline moved smoothly. Employees were helpful, and customers were offered the donuts,instead of the employees eating them.As mentioned earlier, a much better experience.

I bought a 2015 Toyota Camry from Lithia Toyota of Redding two months ago. Last week I noticed mold on the inside of the plastic shield that protects the speedometer and other components. When I brought it into auto repair, Bruce told me that it was a cleaner that I used and said it is rough on the outside (it's not, at all). He stated that his manager, Bruce, is only in Mondays and needs to approve it before any work can be done. Not only did he not offer to set up an appointment, he was rude, condescending, and blamed the issue on a cleaning supply (I haven't cleaned it with anything). Needless to say, if you have an issue with mold, in your brand new car, don't take it on a day that Bruce is working. If I'd have known that the customer service was so poor, I would have thought twice about buying a new car from this company.

I went in for a regular maintenance service on 10/28/15 and had the fortune of getting excellent customer service from one of the service advisors Francisco Martinez-Garcia. This guy had genuine interest and friendly attitude to me, he listened about my car broken turn signal light and dislodged fog light, he even took time away from behind his busy desk, went out with me to my car, assessed the problem, made recommendations, even discussed with me modes of payment, ordered the parts, gave a date to return for the repairs, and on that date the parts were all ready, took in my car and had it fixed in less than the estimated time. But what I totally appreciate about Francisco is his genuine and very friendly concern and a big smile. I hope every time I go in for service here I will meet and be served by Francisco, it is just plain good experience.Thank you Francisco and God bless.Stephen Runyora.

My fiance and I had been diligently looking for a used SUV for 2 months. Salesmen wanted to sell me things I wasn't even interested in buying. Then we went in to Lithia and met Dan. He wanted to know what I wanted. Finally a car salesman who was willing to listen to what I wanted. We test drove a Chevrolet Captiva, but it was a bit over my price range. A few weeks later we just happened to stop by on a Saturday morning to look at cars I had seen on your web site. 2 Dodge Calibers. Dan came out to greet us, which was good because I would have asked for him anyway. We test drove the 2010 Caliber and although it wasn't really an SUV, I fell in love with it. I was sold. Dan was awesome! Then Jason helped with the financing. They both made it so easy after nothing but stress for the 2 months prior. I am so thankful to both of them and Lithia.

After visiting many physical and online car dealerships over the course of three weeks, I noticed a 2006 Hyundai Elantra with under 100,000 miles advertised online by Lithia Toyota of Redding, CA. The vehicle was priced close to the Kelly Blue Book recommendations so we called ahead.My brother and I had visited once the previous week to inquire about another vehicle. At that time we met Tracy Hays, a Lithia sales representative, who was friendly, helpful and patient. We sought her out again and arranged to take a test drive. We were sold. After wading through our initial paperwork, we were introduced to Jason Beeman, Lithia's finance manager. He did an excellent job of explaining the forms to be signed and the financing options. He was able to spread our payments over aditional year than our initial estimate, lower the APR, and add a 24,000/two year power-train warranty, and free oil changes for life, for just an extra eight dollars per month. That increased our confidence and satisfaction with the sale greatly.We took our new used vehicle home the same day and are quite satisfied. If only every significant transaction ended so well.

Despite the inconveniences of facility remodeling, Lithia Toyota came thru again. In the19 plus years I have owned my RAV 4 ,,I have never received anything but superior service from this service department. I have already recommended Lithia to all who would listen and my daughter purchased her Corolla on my recommendation and is delighted with its performance and the Lithia service department. I purchased my RAV 4 in its 1st year of production, trusting in the Toyota name. This dealership only had two-doors when purchased, so I bought the 4-door elsewhere. but the Redding dealership has serviced the car from the beginning., and I see no reason to change.

I usually dread going to car dealerships, for fear of the high pressure sales tactics designed to ensure the customer does not leave without purchasing a vehicle. Nothing like that at all this time! I had gone to get a small item serviced, and having noticed Labor day ads, I was curious what might be had. Armed with an internet quote that I thought might be a useful benchmark, I was astounded to receive an offer at several thousand dollars LESS! Not only that, it was extremely straight forward, no upselling, misleading initial teasers, or anything of the sort. The salesman assigned to me was more than happy to show me several alternatives, allowed me to test drive more than one vehicle, and despite what must have been great pressures of multiple sales on a busy holiday sale week-end, he made me feel I was his only customer. When I thanked him and informed him I needed to discuss with my wife, there was no pressure to proceed with the deal immediately. It was a gentleman's card, handshake, cellphone, and a simple request.... "Let me know when you are coming back, so I am sure I will have time for you." Upon our return and an additional test drive of the particular vehicle, we completed the transaction in a pleasant, efficient manner. Thank you Mike, Logan, and Lithia, and of course Toyota for making great cars!

The temporary quarters didn't seem to be a problem. I pulled up to the service location, and was greeted right away by a young lady service advisor. She knew exactly what was needed after a very brief discussion. And she recognized I have some mobility limitations. She was very nice in helping me select a free donut and coffee, She held the door to the waiting room, helped me to a seat. When the car was ready, she brought the paperwork to me for review, then helped me out to the car. I was very impressed with her professionalism and concern. Five stars!!

When we bought our new car from Toyota Lithia of Redding, we were incredibly pleased with our new car, the deal we received, and the people who helped us. Now, 3 months later, we went in to have our vehicle serviced (part of our deal was free oil changes, etc.), and the customer service we received was amazing. Even though we still had plenty of miles to put on the car before the recommended service mileage, they had no problem servicing our vehicle. The estimated wait time was pretty short - the actual wait time was even shorter! Additionally, our shift knob had come a little loose, and rather than making us set up an appointment for the repair, they went ahead and tightened it for us during this time as well!At the time of the service (and also when we bought our car), the dealership was undergoing major renovations and they were actually set up in temporary trailers. Despite this, they made the process enjoyable, and everyone we encountered was friendly and helpful. It honestly came across that everyone working there really enjoyed working there.

I took my car in for a 10,000 mile service on a Saturday. It was my second service. I do not live in Redding and I called earlier in the week and asked if I could make an appointment and was told that wasn't the procedure and it wouldn't take long if I just came in on Saturday. When I arrived on Saturday morning, it was somewhat chaotic and I was told it would probably be 1-1/2 hours as they were extremely busy. I asked if shuttle service was available and they explained that it was not available on the weekends. Due to the construction, customers having their car serviced had to wait in a trailer that was very full. Your staff didn't an excellent job of working under pressure; they were extremely courteous and professional. It took slightly less than 1-1/2 hours, but I would suggest that if weekends are always busy you reconsider having shuttle service available or allow customers to make appointments. The quick, easy servicing process was one of the selling points and it definitely was not easy or relaxing. Once again, your service staff did a great job of representing your company and remaining calm and courteous under very stressful conditions.

Aug 29 at 4:40 PM The trouble started on Saturday, August 1,2015. I tried to start my Prius and it wouldn't start. My son also tried to start it and failed. Then I called AAA for a tow. The Tow Truck Driver tried to start the Prius and failed. We pushed the Prius out of the garage to have it towed The tow Truck Driver then started the Prius. I asked him what he did differently to make it start and he said he didn't know. I drove the Car to Lithia Toyota of Redding and tried to explain the problem. The Customer Service Representative did not process papers for technical assistance to assess the problem. Instead he told me, the customer, it was my fault because I stepped on the Parking Brake to start the car. He couldn't know that. It was diagnosis by conjecture and he turned out to be wrong. He went into a long diatribe about my being too old to drive. He made the "Friendly, Helpful Customer Service" an oxymoron. When have the Customer Service Reps become experts on Prius problems and customer driving capabilities, instead of remaining within their Job Description? When did they start stereotyping the elderly customer?

With regards to the rear sun screen...Parts department said installation would take about two hours. I doublechecked this online and confirmed from ASE certified Toyota mechanics that indeed the process should only take two hours at the most. However when speaking with the service writer they said it would take at least five hours. 5 hours to remove the rear seat is way too much! That and I got two different quotes for labor; $125/Hr and the final $132/Hr.Unfortunately we were in a bind and had to have the part installed. Then we got the car back at the end of the day and there was greasy palm prints on the leather in a few places.I will not purchase nor take a vehicle for service to Lithia Toyota. Too bad, as we like helping out the local guys.

The dealership is in shambles right now as it is being completely re-done so it doesn't look that inviting but customer service continues to be the shining star. Yes, they may suggest preventive maintenance but they are honest about their recommendations if they are mileage based and not because of an actual problem. They were friendly and honest about the process which they have always been with me over the last six years and even shared a free-drink offer with their customers from a neighboring business that we all took advantage of as it was a very hot holiday and the lines were longer than usual.

I drove my car down to LA area this past week. The road nice was very quiet, unless you are driving over rough part of I 5. The road trip was comfort full and I did not feel like I was on the road for over 8 hours at all. Great car. The facility is a disaster during construction.Having an appointment time for service doesn't mean that is when your car will be worked on. It only ensures you a place in the queue for work that day. The service manager told me that they work on 160+ cars per day, and that is why they don't give time frames or firm appointments. Needless to say, drop off was at 8 a.m., the car wasn't ready until 5:30 p.m., and nobody called to tell me it was ready - I called to check, and the man who answered took my name but "couldn't find my paperwork." He recommended I "try back in a half hour." The work performed is fine. The prices seem to be in the reasonable range. And I love the idea of lifetime oil changes. The problem is that it is just too inconvenient to utilize your service department. I love my car, but if I had known that this was what I was in for, I'd have bought a Honda again instead of my Toyota.

On December 19, 2014 while traveling to for a family Christmas get together, the left rear wheel and brake drum came off my 04' Tundra 4X4 at 70 mph, thus grinding down the brake backing plate to the axle. Truck handled well and all were well and safe. Just startled a little. I had the truck towed back to Redding and to Toyota for the repair of the highway damage and several other items that needed attention and I was just waiting to 'Get around to it' type things such as an occasional check engine light, broken horn, several dash bulbs, broken horn, fan clutch and ALL and I mean ALL fluids flushed and refilled in this 4X4 truck with new synthetic ones, except for radiator, but it was changed as well. Oh, the check engine light, the Catalytic Converter. I also had the right rear brake drum, shoes and cylinder replaced to match the left side. (Fronts were done in September 2014.) A friend loaned me another vehicle so I was in no hurry for mine to be returned. It was a partial insurance job as well for the left rear. Toyota Service was excellent. Bruce M. was my service writer and he kept me updated and was in constant contact to the end with details and other findings and several great service suggestions. He was amazing considering that this dealership is in the midst of a major remodel for better customer service. My experience with this Toyota Dealership in Redding has always been wonderful. They are the only ones to work on my truck mechanically and other vehicles when I have had them. All bought from this dealership. 4 now is the total. I have had no bad experiences and trust this service department explicitly. I went to the Lithia because I had a great experience purchasing my last car there 10 years ago and with it on it's last leg, I decided to purchase my first new car there this time. Tim, one of the salesmen there helped me through the process and I was able to get a car I love from there for a price that is very competitive. For my 10,000 mile oil change (on a Prius) that was covered by my original car purchase, I chose a Saturday to come in, and I expected to have to wait a couple of hours. They place was busy (I was there at l0:45a.m., and I was out of there by noon. The check in process was quick and easy, and I was impressed with how smoothly everything was handled. The gentleman who took my order was courteous and business like, and I was very happy with the quickness and completed job.

Very busy Tuesday after the Holiday weekend. Plus the dealership is undergoing a huge remodeling project. I knew it was going to take a while instead of watching the overheated customers fidgeting I decided to take a walk and go down to Jeff's Cattle Co. for breakfast. By the time I returned it wasn't long before my Highlander was out of Service and back in my hands again. Your guys were handling the customers very well. They are so courteous and patient. I have always had a good experience at this dealership. I only have one comment. I was very anxious to get a used car to replace my old one, and forgot to check to see if I could get a better deal through my Costco or my AAA membership. I love the used car I bought, but do wish I had taken a bit more time to have some of these questions answered.

We brought our new Camry into the service department as the engine light was on, We dealt with Sal he was great they got us in in a timely manner and took care of the problem, then took the time to explain why the light had come on in the first place which was my fault for not tightening the gas cap properly. Great job and thank you for taking the time to explain this issue with us.

When I noticed the mysterious noise coming from my car I'll be honest, the last place I wanted to take it to was the dealership because I was afraid I would be overcharged for something I didn't really need done. I even looked into an "honest" local mechanic recommended by a friend to compare prices, but ended up being ignored and forgotten about and never received a call back from them. Not to sound cliche, but I'm really glad I didn't!When I dropped my car off at 830 am, I was given a quote from Mark for 3 hours worth of work and was already worried about the quote, but was told it probably wouldn't take that long and was an overshot basically. Well 3 and a half hours went by and I still hadn't heard anything so I called and found out that Nick, one of their best mechanics, was having a hard time pinpointing the problem and was asked if I could come and take a test drive to see if we were hearing the same noise. When I got there, Nick was working on some things that he thought might be contributing to the issue, then we took it for a drive. Of course, the noise was no longer there, as mysterious noises usually aren't, but Nick reassured me he didn't find anything alarming that I should worry about. Except for a way overdue oil change. He set me up to get that done and at about 2 pm I was given my invoice. I was told I was way over my quote, but an exact amount was unclear at the time and was asked if could pay over the phone. I can't speak for everyone, but I think most people would be irritated about not getting their car back in the expected amount of time and not knowing how much they would be in debt for a silly mysterious noise. But after speaking with Nick and reading over my extensive invoice, it was obvious that he had clearly gone way above and beyond to figure this thing out. Even if the noise came back, I was confident in his work and didn't even care how much it was going to cost me. However, when I did receive the phone call to pay, I thought I was going to cry. I was not overcharged one single bit. I wish there was more I could do to show my gratitude other than writing this review, but I definitely want Nick to be recognized for being so relentless and thorough and this location for being the most honest, kind, and professional dealership I've ever encountered. I always get my oil changed here (the lube staff is also always incredibly kind and helpful), but now there is no doubt I will always come here for any of my car needs.

Just stopped in to Lithia Toyota Service to have a maintenance check-up on our wonderful Prius Plug-In. The service department is great-just dropped off the car in the morning and it was waiting for us when we came by at lunchtime.

I've leased 3 Priuses because they seemed much more solid, creative and dependable than the alternative. 3 in a row, they've become more clunky, cheap and undependable. On the latest, the finish is easily scratched in spite of paying for the extra protection; the driver side armrest has broken twice: I'm told "not to lean on it.". It doesn't have the solid feel I had with the first. I've been you greatest promoter in Northern California. No more. I'm really sad that you've stayed competive by cheapening you product. The staff at Lithia are great, but working with a progressively cheaper product.

I have recently moved to Napa and came back to Lithia in Redding for my new leased vehicle. I can only hope to find such a friendly and trustworthy dealer and service center in the Napa area!

They knew the situation and understood from the complaints they have heard about from this other dealer. Their customer service was great and very sensitive to my situation. I took my Toyota Tundra in for it's 6 month service. It had 3,500 miles on it. I was told that I had to wait until my truck had 5,000 miles on it even though the owners manual specifically states that "if after 6 months take your toyota in to get serviced, Don't wait for 5,000 miles. Additionally, I bought the lifetime oil changes that was guaranteed to be done every 3 months or 3,000 miles, They said they wouldn't do it until 10,000 miles. I know it is recommended to be done every 10,000 miles, but I purchased the lifetime oil changes because I didn't want to wait that long. Obviously a Breach of Contract. I called to have my Tundra towed out of the mud and was told that it was going to cost me $100. When I purchased it I was told it didn't matter where I was they would tow it, bring me gas, give me a jump, fix a flat at no charge to me, "That is toyota care" Toyota said they were wrong and said they aren't responsible. I disagree, Toyota should be held responsible to make sure their dealers do what they are supposed to do. This dealership diliberatly lies to get you to buy a vehicle and then latter it's up to you to sue! I WILL BE SUING! Drive to sacramento or somewhere else to buy your toyota. It will be worth it. If you buy from Lithia Toyota of Redding document everything you are told. You will need it when you have to sue later on down the road.

I paid $1500 more than I should have, the car was supposed to be detailed before pick up. It was filthy, glue on dash, gum on door runner, spill spots throughout, I received the car in the dark and saw all of this the next morning. I had to have my mechanic fix the cigarette lighters as they were not plugged in, half of the interior fuses were missing, and the engine compartment had to be cleaned to remove fire extinguisher fluid left near the battery and at the base of the engine. This caused the battery to have to be disconnected and when reconnected the car ran really rough. The injector ports had to be cleaned and they rest the computer to fix it. My mechanic said someone probably dropped a wrench and sparked a fire near the battery it appears they put it out right away, he removed the melted wire cover and did not see any other damage. I had seen the melted clip next to the battery, and the messy condition of the car when I initially looked over the car. The sales lady said they would have the car detailed. I expected the detaier to fix all the interior issues and to buff and wax the exterior prior to delivery. Wrong assumption and picking the car up in the dark with a long drive home through a snow storm did not help, I was anxious to hit the road and try to beat the storm. I complained and canceled the protection plan. I do not trust their mechanics, detailer, or parts at this point. I was sold a cargo mat that does not fit the car I returned it and they told me no carpet mat was available for the cargo area. I purchased one from Medford Toyota. The only one who appeared honest was the finance guy. However he failed to even try to resolve my issues. I work in retail and unsatisfied customers can kill a business. I expected a free complete detail offer to try and regain my trust, but he just said sorry and claimed to have informed the manager of the dealership. I am VERY DISSATISFIED. I have purchased private party vehicles that were cleaner. I have spent over $800 on repairs to fix the issues with this car and I still need to have it detailed and scotch-guarded, and replace the center console. The car runs good now but I will never purchase another vehicle from this dealership. I have had many Toyota vehicles and I like them. But this is the worst dealership I have ever dealt with. I have purchased 7 used vehicles from dealerships and none of them were this dishonest. They have no concern for their customers or their reputation. They will continue to defraud customers with no remorse.

We were the victims of bait and switch fraud. We paid out the nose for an extended warranty and it turns out it was not even a Toyota warranty! They sell some third rate warranty that they make more money from as a Toyota warranty.When confronted they were unapolgetic and rude. I am waiting to make sure they cancel the warrranty. I do not reccomend this dealership.

We were on a trip and our Prius stopped as we entered the freeway south of Redding. We had to be towed to Redding and were very pleased with the service we received. Mark made arrangements for a qualified mechanic to look at our car and the mechanic worked to find the problem. It wasn't possible to totally resolve the issue, but Mark kept us informed of the mechanic's progress and carefully explained what he was checking. In the end, he provided us with the resources to avoid another similar problem and carefully explained what we should do. We were very satisfied with the way Mark handled the situation and the way he worked with us in a very difficult situation. We finished our trip without additional difficulties thanks to the attention we received at Lithia Toyota of Redding.

Sales manager Gary Rueber used all the classics. "This deal is only good today, because the general manager will be back tomorrow", "I can sell this car to someone else and make money if you don't buy it". Salesman Mike Morris was trying to get a signature on paper work. When declined to sign until ready, sales manager Gary Rueber returned to try to close deal that day. Salesman Mike Morris pulled her car up in the dark service drive for the walk around inspection, and blew off the scratch that was found. Lithia has always been a poor car dealer, but it is sad to see how far Toyota has fallen in quality, design, and ethics.
