Working with Bridget Marley was a great experience. After a few minutes of speaking with her I was very comfortable. She was honest with me and answered all my questions. Bought a 2009 Lancer & asked about a second key fob & wheel lug lock & was told the car was so new to the dealer that they were still waiting on the previous owner to get them. Here it is a month & a half later & My daughter stopped by & asked if they were in yet & they want to charge her. I then call & get the run around & leave messages & no one calls back. hmm mm be careful dealing with them, you may not be able to get what you expect from them. Oh & don't forget to get it in writing, when we asked to we were told that it's no big deal for a key & lock you don't need to put things like that down, we will call & get that for you from the previous owner.

We purchased a 2013 Lincoln MKS at a Great price but it did have a few issues. We had to take it to a local dealership ( we live three hours away from Aurora ) the next day to have the belt tensioner and serpentine belt replaced due to the bearings and belt making a noise. That problem can usually be masked with a little lubricant spray, might have been coincidentally too though- it was still under factory warranty too so it got fixed for free. We were also missing a letter emblem spelling "LINCOLN" that the sales person said they would order and get us right away- 7 weeks later- no emblem. But I did get an email from the one of the managers asking how I was enjoying the car and if there was anything else they could do for me. I sent an email back asking about my emblem and they explained that the sales person that I had was no longer working there and they would get me one ASAP. And they did a fantastic job of making sure I got it this time. Overall a good dealership.

Recently purchased a 2013 Lancer from Max Madsen and this was my experience.Already being set on a Lancer, my only option was the semi-close Max Madsen in Aurora IL.After gathering a list of in stock vehicles I may be interested in, I went to the dealership to check them out.My salesmen, was very kind and understanding and overall a cool dude, he respected that it was a 30 minute drive for me, and I have college and school, so communicating via email was a must. In all honesty, he was the only helpful one at the dealership, and the only positive thing about my experience there.So after a week or so of back and forth, I was finally able to seal the deal on a 2013 Lancer, with 21k miles. I have put 5k on it so far. Was extremely happy, at first....Hindsight 20/20, and here is why I feel like it was not a fair purchase and why I wouldn't recommend Max Madsen as a company.For starters, after looking up my car on KBB (Which I should have done in the first place), I realized I was sold a car that was worth about 4000 less then what I signed for, and about 12k less then what I will have paid by the end of my loan, because of an insanely high APR, which was not made clear to me at the time of sale.After buying my car, I started experiencing many problems, the list being: Wheel bearing gone bad (I assume from a horrible alignment I couldn't see in the dark, finally enough stress on the bearing has it making noise), I was lied to about having bluetooth (to discover it was only Pre-wired), many of the outlets in the car seem to cause issues with the radio if an item is plugged in, multiple paint blemishes, and when it got below freezing, my car would not start, and required multiple jumps (which probably wasn't easy on the alternator, which I expect to go next).What would the dealership do? Nothing. I was told I had a bumper to bumper warranty, and even if that was another lie, you would think some kind of implied warranty would still stand. Yet they are wanting to charge me 70 bucks to even look at it, and telling me my warranty does not cover any of the problems, because it is used, and I was told it was certified pre-owned, which to my understanding there is a difference.After being in contact with Max Madsen for about 2 weeks straight trying to get anything resolved, I have realized that it's just not going to happen, and my first "new" car buying experience has been ruined because of the ethics of this dealership. Maybe I should've researched more, xxxx I should have, but now I'm being taken on a ride that there is seemingly no way out of.

I cannot even begin to express in words how grateful we are for purchasing our vehicle from Max Madsen in Aurora. We purchased a used Kia Sorento and had absolutely nothing but problems with it....at no fault of this dealership. Kia refused to stand by their warranty and Max Madsen wouldn't let that slide. They stand behind their product no matter what. We were able to bring back the Kia and renegotiate into a brand new 2016 Mitsubishi Outlander and couldn't be more pleased. They have gonna above and beyond and even one notch above that! From the manager, Anthony, to our salesman, Jon Schulz, and even the service manager, Todd, you couldn't receive better service. We are absolute lifetime customers to Max Madsen in Aurora and highly, highly recommend you purchase your future vehicles from there as well!

I originally wrote a glowing review on Feb. 13th, 2015, what a mistake! After looking at two other dealers, we stopped at Max Madsen Mitsubishi. Our salesperson, Ryan Clark, was cordial and answered our questions, we were just looking as our lease was ending on our Honda CRV on April 24th. I had already made the March payment two weeks early. We were trying to stay in budget as we are Senior Citizens, so we hesitated on going forward with the offer. Ryan left us for a few minutes and came back with the Sales Manager, Jeffrey Martin. He said it had been a "slow month" they could buy out our lease and even turn the car in for us. Wow! news to us as this was our first leased car. Everything preceded smoothly, even down to the Finance Manager, Mike I., telling us we would get a refund from Honda once they paid off the lease. Great news! Wrong! Nothing happened at Honda after they turned our car on Friday night and we signed off on it Saturday, Feb. 14th. We then received a bill for the last payment of lease. I tried to speak with Ryan Clark on Monday, March 9th(he no longer works here), left message for Jeffrey Martin on March 9th, 10th, and 11th, finally a call on Thursday, March 12th(he'd look into the matter). We received a call on Friday 13th of March and no he didn't say that. Funny that we didn't know about a buyout until he mentioned it and why did Finance Manager tell us we would get a refund from Honda? Love the car but would and will not recommend this dealership!!!!!!!

We went to this dealership because they had the car that we were looking for. We had gone to other dealerships that would not give us the price we were looking for and didn't have that great of customer service. Our salesman Jimmy Miller was absolutely amazing from the moment we stepped in the door. We told him what we wanted and he found the perfect car for us. It was the most hassle free car buying experience that I've ever had! They were willing to work with us and gave us a great deal. The business manager Mike Isadore was great and worked with our needs. Also, the finance manager Anthony did everything he could to get us where we needed to be! I would highly recommend this dealership to anyone looking for a hassle free experience!

Very frustrated with this dealership. I was inquiring about a car no one got back with me, so I called. Spoke with a sales rep very helpful. Explained I wouldn't be there until the next day since we were from out of town. Called location later that night & manager said it was already sold. Asked what was the point of making a road trip out there if they were going to sell it to someone else. Then asked the manager about a deposit, he said it wouldn't have matter bc that does not hold the car. What is the point of a deposit?I will not buy from this dealership, ever.

It was so nice to go to a car dealership and see the car that you asked for right there and waiting for you to test drive. Our Sale Consultant, Mike Isadore was great. He took the time for both my husband and I to test drive the car. He was very knowledgeable about the vehicle and explained all the features. What he did not know he looked it up for us on the car fax. We had a very old car for a trade in and we got the best offer for a trade in then from anyone other car dealership. It is nice to finely find a dealership that is honest and easy to work with.

Recently purchased a used minivan (Toyota Sienna XLE Ltd) from Max Madsen. The sales rep was decent (Jon) and gave us a good deal on the vehicle. I had to travel a considerable distance (250 miles) to pick up the van, and it was pretty much as described. There were some cosmetic small dings that were not shown in any pictures (should really show the flaws for people purchasing from long distances). Also, the battery was failing and intermittent so that at times the car would not even start. I had to purchase a new battery, but this was not seen until I had driven all the way back home. One would think the battery would be something to check prior to sell, but I could be wrong. Otherwise, it was a smooth transaction.

I had to bring my 2011 Outlander in for the SAME warranty issue (3) times at 25,000, 52,000 and 56,000 miles. The second time they didn't order the correct part and I had to return for them to install. Now I need to return for a 3rd time after the repair 4,000 miles ago. Customer Service was rude and very unsympathetic in their apology.

I negotiated a price for a used vehicle over emails with Marcus King. Marcus answered all my questions, made me a personal video of the car and guaranteed me that the price we agreed upon over emails was the price I would pay. I drove 45 miles to the dealership and it was well worth it, the car looked great, I test drove it and made my purchase. The finance department was able to give me a better rate then my credit union was offering, this dealership was to good to be true. I have to say that I would highly recommend purchasing a car from Max Madsen, everyone that I spoke with at the dealership was very, very nice. If only every car buying experience could be so good. we have been disappointed by this dealer in the past and we have visited them 5 times before we finally walked off with a used car worth 22,000 dollars.The employees of the dealership were extremely rude including the managing partner,the finance manager all the way down to the sales clerk,why did we buy from here ? because they had the only car which my son wanted.The finance company had to call on our behalf to make the deal go through.I would not recommend this dealer to my friend or family

We even met the Managing Partner - Todd Cahan, and the Man himself - MAX MADSEN.The Car Buying experience has changed significantly over the past 10 years - and I think that the Max Madsen Cybersales approach is the BEST way to specify your preferences as a Buyer. I have never had better dealings with a Service Department than at Max Madsen, and I have delt with many in Illinois and Colorado, from Honda to Dodge. These guys listen and really try to get to the bottom of the issue. Most places don't care to listen or think they know better. Respect is what you get from Max Madsen!I can't say I got the best price on my new car, but it was fair. I would deal with them again. Sales is always friendly when I visit and know me by my first name. I have leased two cars from them and wouldn't hesitate leasing another.

This dealership is not to be trusted. They sold me a car and told me that the car had one owner and no problems with it. I recently did a car fax repot which they would not show me and their has been frame damage and 5 owners on the car. They have now put me in a situation where I cannot sell the car for a good value. I talked to the owner and he did not care about anything I had to say. This is the worst dealership to go to.

I bought a 2010 Mitsubishi Lancer from them and they were pressuring me to buy today. I had asked for multiple accesories and they said they did not have them in stock so i would have to come and get them separately. I had to make two stops there to get all the parts and they did not give them to me on the promised dates. Then when I ran a Checklist of all the parts I had orderded they still had not given me all the parts. I called them again and again, yet no reply. Then after about a month of that I decided to go to the dealership. when I asked the manager for the parts they said they had them there for a long time waiting for me, but i told them they should have called. he didn't say anything. On the way to Parts I ran into Mike, the Salesmen that had sold me the car, I wrote him a bad review earlier for not getting me the right parts, he told me that that really hurt him. I said, "I don't care. You should stop thinking about yourself and put your customer first!" He looked as if he was about to cry. I went to parts and gave them this letter they sent me saying that my plates were in; even though i already had plates from my previous car which got totaled. I thought they would give me new plates but the same as my old ones since mine were in bad condition from the crash. But they didn't. They gave me a different set of plates that apparently I'm registered to. So that means I am now driving illegally, thanks to the friendly people at Max Madsen(Sarcasm). Then when I asked them for the ipod cable that I ordered, the guy said, when he looked into it he ordered the wrong one. How do u do u possibly do that? IT'S AN IPOD CABLE. I asked him for the other part I ordered which was the cargo tray. he just gave me this box and didn't even bother getting me a porter to install it for me.so I went to Service and asked them if they could put it in for me. He had no clue what I was saying. In the end I just asked for a tool to open the box. He gave me a razor blade. I went to the parking lot, opened the box, and tried to fit the cargo tray into the trunk, but... the STOCK subwoofer in the back was interfering with the cargo tray so that means THAT PART WAS ALSO WRONG. I told that to the guy at parts and he told me he would have to re order that. I don't think I'll be getting another cargo tray. So overall I haven't gotten the correct Ipod Cable or the Cargo tray which I have already paid for! I was also charged for the new plates which I DIDN'T ASK FOR... and now I cannot legally drive my car. The sales at Max Madsen do not care about the customer at all! They are friendly up until the handshake that closes the deal. then they shun you like it never happened. I SERIOULSY RECCOMEND THAT YOU DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE. IF YOU WANT TO BUY A MITSUBISHI. IT'S WORTH THE DRIVE TO LISLE AT THEIR OTHER LOCATION. I DON'T EVEN THINK I AM GOING TO GET MY SERVICES DONE AT THIS PLACE. I'M PROBABLY JUST GOING TO GO LISLE OR TUFFY.
